I am using an Airtel mobile with number [protected] since 2007.
I have recharged my airtel prepaid number with Rs. 255 /- for 1 GB of 3G data. The plan is active in my mobile and there is still data balance available. But for last one week when I am using 3G services, my main balance is being deducted and when I checked with customer care I came to know that my 3G data is also being deducted. So you are charging me twice for the service I am using for once.
I am using a mobile worth of 30,000 and what is its use with out 3G on it. So I don't have any option than using 3G. Because of which, my main balance has been reduced a lot and I keep on recharging my mobile.
All because of this your DUMB Airtel management.
On the same I raised a complaint before couple of days ago, and I was told that the issue will be resolved in an hour. But it wasn't resolved and my main balance still get deducted when I am using 3G.
I have been trying to reach the customer care since then, but I was unsuccessful. When I press 9 on the IVR to speak to the customer care it again says
"Dial *121# and manage all your Airtel accounts. Thank you for calling Airtel".
Is this the way you server your customers, PATHETIC...!!!
SHAME ON AIRTEL...! I AM PISSED OFF AND FRUSTRATED WITH AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE. THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN.
Resolve this if you can and I want my main balance to be refunded what ever is got deducted.

Airtel Prepaid 3G — Overbilling
I had contacted 10 times with customer care executive in order to explian my concern regarding overbilling.Everytime time I had to narrate the incident that had happened with my 3G prepaid services on my Airtel no [protected] .On 24/07/11 while browsing I had downloaded approx 4MB of data in excess to tha available download quota which was supposed to be charged at the rate of 20kb/ 30 paise approx. But my main talkvalue balance was reduced by INR 140.which is exorbitant and baseless.After a long struggle of trying to communicating this issue with the Customer reps- some of them I remember Veerabhadra,Kalyan,Prema. I did not get any response from them because all of them fooled my by asking me to be on hold while they redirect my call to some anonymous number which was never attended by anyone.Finally after long battle I could reach Mr.Shekar Reddy(Customer Relative Officer) who understood the problem and gave me complaint no CBDM[protected] and consoled me stating that the problem will get resolved within 48 hours.After getting no solution to my problem again I tried to check with the status of the complaint with the given no. but surprisingly again these customer reps asked me to narrate the incident without considering the complaint no and also Mr.Shekar Reddy was no more available/reachable.
This is a height of stupidity on part of Airtel to engage such incapable and untrained staff who does not have the ability to even understand customer greivance and sorry to say even English.
My problem is still unresolved and will take it to the highest level I can.
