I WAS BEEN CALLED BY YOUR EXECUTIVE AND I WAS BEEN TOLD THAT I HAD RECHARGED FROM LAPU OF RS 70 WHICH CHANGED MY CALLING RATES...IN THE FIRST CASE HOW THEY CAN BE TWO RECHARGES OF THE SAME RATE ..I ONLY USE TO RECHARGE RS 70 FOR A FULL TALKTIME ...
I HAD A CALL RATE OF 1PS PER 1 SEC..THEN WHY WOULD ANYBODY GO TO A PLAN WHICH WOULD NOT BENIFIT THEM..
PLEASE STOP MAKING THE CUSTOMERS GO ROUND THE BUSH AND GET LOST ...
I WANT MY OLD PLAN BACK ...AS ITS STILL THE SAME...
I AM REALLY NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR CALL...AS THE CALL WAS INTERUPTED ALSO WITH SOME DISTURBANCE..

AirTel — rates

i have been in Airtel for past two years...one day before i did topup of Rs.30/-...but i didn't get the talktime ..so i call to customer care then they said that for Rs.30/- of topup you will get 20 minutes STD calls free and one month validity...what is this nonsense plan...

what is th purpose of doing topup...to increase the balance and no validity...if they changed like that then how do we know...
Then next problem is about coupon charge...i bought the Airtel sim card from my native place that is out of chennai...now i m in chennai when i bought coupon recharge in chennai then they are telling that recharge can't be happne becoz your card is not belonging to chennai...what is this..

really i fed this airtel service...
my phone no is [protected] very difficult to continue connection because o[censored]nwanted unnecessay deduction of money without call

-0n 10th sept 10 deducted 45/ complaint lodged but no response

no refund so far no suitable response from u

    I WOULD LIKE TO BRING TO YOUR NOTICE THAT I HAD RECHARGED AIRTEL 3G ONLINE RECHARGE OF RS 749.I DID IT TWICE..
    ONE THROUGH SBI DEBIT ONLINE AND THE OTHER THROUGH SBI NET BANKING..
    BUT UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO SOME TECHNICAL ERROR FROM AIRTEL THE RECHARGE WAS UNSUCCESFUL BUT MY MONEY GOT DEDUCTED TWICE OF RS 749..SO I AM DUE TO RECIEVE RS 1498..

    AS SAID BY AIRTEL IF THE RECHARGE IS NOT DONE AND THE MONEY IS BEEN DEDUCTED,IT WILL BE REFUNDED TO THE ACCT ...
    I AM BIT WORRIED IF IT COULD BE DONE SOON WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS...

    I CANT UNDERSTAND IF THE RECHARGE DOESNT HAPPEN THEN WHY IS THE MONEY BEEN DEDUCTED ..THIS IS ABSOLUTELY IRRELEVANT ..SOMETHING NEW....PLEASE TAKE SOME ACTION ON TO IT...I HAVE LOST MY MONEY FOR NOTHING...

    Airtel — took my final payment twice

    I have Stopped my airtel no. in feb. and the collection officer came home to collect the final payment of 1400. I told him that this is been debited from my SBI account every month through ECS sevice. he said this is a final payment and it will not paid through ECS so u pls pay it by cash. so he took a cash payment on 2nd march 09. n when i checked the accound it was also debited from my account on 2nd mar, 09. n till date they have not refunded .

    Airtel — AIRTEL 3G INTERNET ONLINE RECHARGE FAILED BUT MONEY DEDUCTED

    I tried to airtel 3g internet online recharge of rs. 249 INR to my airtel prepaid no. on 13th dec 2012. Recharge failed but money deducted from my SBI account.I used SBI Master debit card for online recharge.My airtel prepaid mobile no. is [protected].I want my money (249 INR) back.Airtel online service is so pathetic.

      Sir i got many mms frm my sim card but i cant view all mms. I got a msg all the tym when evr i recve a mms that msg is "You have received a new multimedia message from 91**********. You can view the message in website http://mms.myuninor.in:8080/webgui. Password is **********. Message is stored for 1 days." but whenvr i try to view my mms n goes to this site i catn log in it there se is no username. Plzz sir help me i have got many prblm bcoz of not viewng mms.. Thanking u sir Ns

        When I bought Airtel Digital 5 years back, I paid about Rs. 2000 for the hardware, I upgraded to HD and then I paid another 2.5k and now when I am surrendering my service why is Airtel asking for the Set top Box and remote?
        If it was Airtel property then why did you take money from me? Was that rental? if it was then please tell your customer that it was rental at the beginning of service.

        You project to consumers that your installation is free of cost and then you take approximate 3k for a new connection, what is that for?

        I need an explanation why I need to return you the CPE when I have paid for it.

        My Digital TV A/C# is [protected].

        P.S. The customer care for Airtel is simply pathetic, every time I call they disconnect my call and I have to call minimum of 3 times and explain the problem all over.

        AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — set top box

        My settop box is not working since 26/2/2012.Several complaints were filed by me but no action was taken till date .The setop box is to replaced by new one by swaping.But from last 18 days i am being told by the airtel office Anantnag that the settop boxes are not available .About 130 Rs have been deducted from my account without watching nothing.My customer id is [protected]. I request you to look into the matter and take action accordingly.

          I had applied for a broadband connection through Airtel's website in Bangalore. The company knows how to attract new customers. No sooner you put in a request an agent is sent to your place who is there at your convenience.
          you fill up a form and the agent promises to get back to you the next day with the connection. He takes the deposit and the customer is very eagerly waiting for him to get back to you.

          The Agent is absconding. He has your number saved so obviously he will not pick up your calls. So i call him up from another number. Still no response. However the agent now calls on your new number from another number.
          you ask him the issue and he promises to get back within 5 minutes after confirming with the (so called) Technical team.
          you wait for an hour but no call. You call him again, but he doesnt pick.

          Its been 2 weeks but the customer is still waiting for the call. The agent from Airtel is absconding with your money and he doesnt even bother to inform the status. This is not my only story but a similar thing has happened with another individual in the same Apartment building.

          The only solution is to approach TRAI and file a complaint against the looting Company who not only rob you but also harass you.


          the customer complaint desk doesn't help and the call up and say we cannot give you a new connection.
          I want to know that with what logic did they take the deposit if they cannot give me a new connection.

          And the amount of trauma that i had to face becoz there was no response from them.

          ANd the manager doesn not connect either.
          even the complaint agent is not picking up the call

            I have Port (Port id is AK793261) My Prepaid No [protected] on dated 24th at 2.30am to convert in to postpaid at other communication company.

            I had received call from Airlet on 27th April 2013 ,the Airlet person Mr.Ajeet Tiwari/Mr Sunil (Mobile NO-[protected] ) offered me a plan 299.

            I liked the plan & decided that the conversion process will do at same company,So i had allowed to visit Airtel Executive to my residence.

            On 27th & 29th April 13 at 12'o clock(noon) the Executive Biswajeet (Mobile NO-[protected]) visited at my home & collected my documents As address proof - HDFC Credit Card statement , photo & ID proof -PAN Card along with Rs 300 as well as given me one new postpaid SIM (SIM NO-[protected] HLR1). I asked for money receipt but he did not give because he did not bring. He told me he will send money receipt and account no after reaching office but he did not sent me.This type of tanning provided Airtel

            On 30th April 13 at 12.13pm I have received one SMS from AZ-AIRCCM that prepaid to postpaid conversion of my airlel mobile no [protected] has been initiated & address verification will happen within 72hrs .Again next day (on 1st May 13 at 9.00pm) I have received another Sms that due to incomplete verification of my billing address my prepaid no could not be converted to postpaid no .visit nearest airtel center for details.

            AS per my knowledge 1st May 13 is holiday and the verification did not happen due to holiday, then why this type of sms i got.
            I called Mr.Ajeet Tiwari/Mr. Sunil (Mobile NO-[protected] ) & told him about the sms, he said to me that the sms is false not to worry.

            On 2nd May 13 the verification has been done and after verification Mr. Ajeet Tiwari/Mr.Sunil called me and said that by today (2nd May 13) or tomorrow (3rd May 13) my post paid no will be active but till now my no [protected] have not converted.

            After Verification why the verification Person number is [protected], had submitted wrong report that he did not find my house. When I called the person why he did like this he threaten me your connection will not start do whatever you want. Why this type of stupid behavior he did with me. What type of verification agency Airtel have?

            On 13th May 13 I visited Airtel relationship center SUN telecom they also unable to resolve my problem and told me to if you want to collect your money then visit City center E001 and 002 DC BLOCK, Sector-1,City Center,Kol 700064. Why this type of harassments.

            2. Area / Location of the Airtel Relationship Centre- Sector-1,City Center,Kol 700064

            3. SIM number new postpaid-SIM (SIM NO-[protected] HLR1)

            NO one resolve my problem, I have mailed many times to [protected]@ airtel.in and called to Airtel Customer service centre at 121.NO satisfactory output come.

            Please take the necessary action against all & give justice
            Refund my money as soon as possible. Due to their negligence I have been suffering from till date.

            AirTel — airtel negligence

            on 23rd sep my mobile got disconnected with out prior information to me &with out any valid &proper reason . iam an esteemed customer paying advance payments with out receiving rental bills.it is an utter negligence from airtel.on 27th i have changed my sim at vikrampuri secunderabad thinking thatproblem with sim later i came to know airtel suspended my services.in this i have lost all my valuable datain my old sim . my new sim got activated on 01 oct.my question is why u have suspended mycell services with out intimating me,how i will get my old sim data ,why it took ten customer calls to made by me for revoking the service for the last ten days.
            who is responsible for this stupid act what action u r taking against the culprit .
            what compansation u r paying for me.

            Then he promised to send other guy for same but he didnt came. Then we went to Airtel Relationship center which opening shortly at ambadi road vasai. There we met Mr. Kishore he promised to visit our office on 6/10/07 by 11' o'clock but he didnt came. we want to know that do we need something special to call airtel executive to our office.             Airtel Postpaid — Not verifying my address

            Airtel offered me a postpaid sim on my landline basis. I have taken it 13 day ago on 8th Nov. 2007. Airtel executive given me a sim at my home and have taken all necessary document. but after 5 day on 13 Nov. 2007 I got an sms form airtel that my out going services going to stop due to negative response in address varification. I shocked that no one called from airtel that their executive coming for my address verification. After getting this sms I called to cust. care at 121. They told me that their executive see locked my home. I told them that I am doing job and in working days, I am not able to meet at my home. They told me that they will send their executive on Saturday on 17 Nov. 2007. I asked them that is my outgoing facility would be denied. They told me that they are not able to clear it. I requested that please don't stop outgoing till Saturday. They noted my request and told me to wait till Saturday. But on the same day in evening my outgoing stopped by airtel. I called cust. care again and told them about my prob. They told that they are unable to reactivate my outgoing services. I requested them to verify my address on Friday 16 Nov. 2007. They told that they would send their executive on Friday in morning till 11:00 AM. Next day I wait at my home till 11:00 AM but their executive did not come at my home. I called cust. care again and told them about my situation. They requested me to wait till Saturday 17 No. 2007. Again their executive did not come for address verification. I called cust. care so many time but they said to wait till 23 No. 2007 and said that they are not able to reactivate my outgoing call. I told them that your executive is not coming for verifying my address that why I would face problem. I told them that I can pay in advance or I can come at their airtel office in noida, but they said sorry there is not ant other way to resolve this prob. Noe today is 20 Nov. 2007 but still I am facing this problem. No one ready to solve my prob. Now they are telling that my bill would be generated on 24th Nov. 2007. My rental is 399 per month in which they are providing me 399 free talk value. But my out going services was stopped that's why cant use that talk value and I need to pay my bill also. Is it acceptable???????

Anything you ask they say" we are sorry sir, i cannot help you in this matter". Then why these companies set up customer call centers. Customer care is now only doing sale not care.             Im using airtel mobile from last app 18 months. Most of the time this company is getting confused in adjusting the payment in proper account.During the month of may 2008 company deposited the payment of some other customer in my account and my payment in someone else and stoped my outgoing calls. After having long communication and arguments they did the correction but not fully.
            after that things were going smoothly and last bill we received from 02/08/2008 to 01/09/2008 of Rs 1206.00 was paid on 15/09/2008.cheque also got cleared from account.suddenly on 20/09/2008 we got a message that your outstanding of Rs 590.00 is due and pay it immediately. from next day onwards we started getting phone calls to pay the same. first 5-6 caller were not aware of anything. after that we emaild our complaints to them and we got a reply that they did a mistake in maonth of may2008 by depositng the some other cutomer payment in our account and they hav reversed the entry on 12//09/2008 so thats why this payment is due.
            this is ok.
            but my point is that you have revesed the entry on 12/09/2008 then how can you harrase the customer from 15/09/2008.
            After that Airtel customer service have made my life misreable. they called me evry day atlest 2-3 times and evry time i requested them to send me the bill of sep with this amount added but these guys did not stopped here.
            my point is that if you do some mistake then first of all they should give the details and some time to pay but no they kept calling me everyday 2-3 times from diferent location.so my advice to all dear friends to have distence from airtel.and kindly advice me to proceed further.Some time i think to go police station to lodge a Fir Against them. please guide me.

            I hate AIRTEL as I lost the number I has since past 6 years due to their carelessness and who cares attitude. The customer care doesnt bother if they are losing customers. I had ported out my number from Vodafone to Airtel and they just disconnected my number without even informing me. I will forever repent for choosing AIRTEL

            After submitting my documents at 2 different airtel stores they only kept saying they did not receive it. What nonsense is that. I[censored] dont receive documents submitted at the Airtel store where do we go?

              I'm using caller tune in my number and they started detect from my account , Uploaded the screenshots of the money which they detected.
              The responce from Airtel is waste, They get to know my complaint and that girl inform let me connect to my supervisor , after waiting for 10 mins they dropped the call ..
              11th April u charged 30 rs, 23rd april 25rs, 2nd may 15 rs, 5th may 1rs, 11th may 15rs, 13th may 35 rs and 15rs today,,,,
              Total 136 rs in 30 days ...

              Please do the needful and ask then to reimburse the money which they steal from my account.

              Sir, my airtel mobile number is [protected] and my service provider is airtel Bihar . I am using this number since september 2008 . Airtel company in his document provided at the time of registration promises that it gives 24 Hr custumer care service on the number 121 . but sir they are cheating sir they not providing this serivice to my number for a single hour also not only this sir there complain number 198 is not working on my number i dont know why they have blocked these service on my number regarding this i went to there office two times but both thimes they said that it will start working within 1 day but sorry to say sir it has not started regarding this i mailed them also but then they told me to send complaint in written form i.e sms to there number 121 but sir this service was also blocked on my number . now i am fully harashed by them . not only this sir on 5/10/08 Rs 10 was deducted from my account regarding this i mailed them because 24 hr 121 service never works . and in reply i got sir that was - i have activated the cricket pack by dailing[protected] . but sorry to say sir i have never dailed this number . they also told me that i can dail[protected] again and can deactivate the pack but sorry sir this number is also not working on my number it is also blocked on my number . I mailed to them again to provide me my call detail but they did not reply. You only tell me sir how i can call a number which is blocked and not only this sir my DND serivice is also active . ( Do Not Distrub service ) . and today on 12/10/08 Rs 10 was also deducted from my account.and you only tell me sir what to do and where to call and mail. Now i am fed up of this sir . Company like this ( airtel 0) and there there way to earn money ( black ) are making fun of your ministry as well as democracy of India .               Hi this is dalip bhatia and i am a user of airtel no:[protected].i am suffering from a money deduction of rupees 10 or 20 every week ....i am dont want to use any of the services of airtel and i never activate any value added services on my number but still they charge and never refund it they talk to us very harshly....when we say that we'll change over to any other telecommunication company then they say ok thats fine .......they always send messeges to us and never ever activate the do not disturb service?i want answer and i want reform thanking you.........
              I never download anything from the stupid airtel website or use any sms services, then why am i charged rs20 and rs15 today and last month? I just get messages about weekly sub, tadkalive and java game download and the balance is gone. I don't even visit the airtel website.This is unbearable now, either you people correct this, that is stop deducting money unnecessarily or else i'll see to it that none my friends or relatives uses airtel ever again.               Airtel - Phone Services — Automatic subscription and Charges without informing

              Some jokes SMS are coming each day which prompted me to call Airtel customer service and I came to know that my mobile has been automatically subscribed multiple services without any notification.

              I asked what date and how this got subscribed. They answered 18th and 19th April it got subscribed by me by answering call from airtel and chosing options to subscribe. I might have answered the call from Airtel, there are so many call comes everyday anyway, but I am sure I did not subscribe any services. But Airtel is charging me for those services. I checked with my friends and I am not the only one to face this.

              Please take strong actions as Airtel is stealing money in small amount this way from a huge customer base and I am sure most of the customer do not even know they are subscribed and they are being charged.

              This is a criminal offense and should be punished accordingly.

              I Am a 16 years old boy and i have given my ICSE boards this year and i am using airtel no [protected] from last 3 years and i am facing these money deduction problems very oftenly...
              3 days ago i activated the rupees pack of internet on my number and i was using facebook on my computer and the 20 paise per 30 kbs pack was also activated on my number and the balance in my account was 51 rupees and 09 paise . by mistake i used 57 mbs which was 7 mb more so when i deactivated the net and checked my balance you had deducted 51 rupees from my account.i contacted the help line number 198 and the registered my complaint and said that you will be contacted by our delhi executive on 23rd and the date was 21st so i waited for two days but nobody contacted me instead a message came to my number saying that no wrong money deduction has been done on your number the deduction is according to the data usage.my question is that the 20 paisa per 30 kb pack is activated on my number then is it right to deduct 51 rupees from my account just for 7 mb data usage...and that too when i was using facebook....i want my money back now i am an educated 11th boy and i am not illitrate that anyone can make a fool of me.
              if i will not be contacted within one day and if i will not get my money back i will surely take action against it.i will go to pehredar and authority but i wont sit quiet because i want my money back.

              i have left my complaint regarding money deduction a few minutes ago.i have another issue too regarding money deduction.the 98 rupees pack of internet is activated on my number [protected].yesterday at 8:30 PM i was using my application snaptu on my 2G mobile Samsung-GTC3010 .and i was watching the whether forcast of dehradun as it was raining heavily in dehradun so there was no electricity supply from 6:00 PM I was unable to see ipl too so i was seeing it on my snaptu application at 8:30 PM When I closed my application i got a message from AD-54321. It Was saying thank you for suscribing to airteltv service from airtel.you have been charged rupees 75.
              Before this message came the balance in my account was 77Rupees And 34 paise i was shocked to see it as had not given any request to activate this service as i cannot even avail it and even i had not opened any particular site. and main thing is when i have not given any request to activate this service how come that it gets activated on the number i just dont want answer i also want my 75 rupees back.
              i am using the hello tune service from airtel from last 5 months as i had given the request and even i have changed the song for 3 times. i know it very well nut how can the company activate any unwanted service on anyones number and withot any personal request and then force to use it....is this the only way that you've find to get richer day by day.i want my money back within 24 hours if i will not get it i will go to the authority the i am not any illitrate guy i will go to pehredar but i will get my money back.





              when the internet pack is activated on my number of rupees 98 and i have not given any personal request to activate this service on my number the what is the reason that you can activate on yourselves huh is the money hanging on trees that we plug it daily and get our cellphones recharged daily just give me no reasons and return my money back.

              Many customers including senior citizens visit my shop daily to get their mobile recharged. They have been complaining always about deductions by the mobile companies. Among all of these I found a customer (Age 70 Years) of Airtel on whose mobile Airtel Company has applied a record number of SIX VAS such as Facts 55382, Job Alerts, Airtel Call Manager, Karwa Chauth Pack, Kareena Kapoor, All Cricket Pack.
              Airtel company has been deducting a huge amount from his credit balance every month mercilessly. ( For proof I have images of his screen)
              *Suppose for example you or any of your friend/known have an Airtel mobile connection.
              You can check it like this.
              1. Send ' STOP' to 121
              (HAVE YOU SENT)...OKAY
              You will get back a message like this if their is a VAS on you mobile.
              "The following services are active on your mobile. To reply type the serial number of the service that you wish to 'STOP' "
              1...
              2...
              3...
              4...
              5...
              6...& so on

              You can know from above message that how many VAS are applied on your mobile by the company. If you want to STOP these services then follow the steps.

              You will get one more message from the company to confirm again.

              Follow these steps untill you get a message that.
              " Kindly note there are no services active on your Airtel number."
              *After this send one more message to activate DND like this

              Airtel India — Video Club Subscription

              I'm Prateek from Kolkata.
              The Video Club subscription has been activated in my mobile no. as well [protected] (without my concern)

              Airtel is therefore charging Rs.99/monthly and the funny thing is - the amount is getting deducted whenever the pre-paid balance is above than the required amount!
              Last deduction was made on 13th August (Saturday)

              I have contacted the customer care service and have spoken with the reps, but they are not willing to solve the issue.

              This is a clear case of fraud with the unnecessary deduction of hard-earned money.
              I therefore claim a refund or would leave the Airtel service and would rather opt for an MNP.

              This is the worst thing any service provider can do!
              Several Times I called Customer care of Airtel..... but they are not giving any reasonable answers. From my mobile, they are deducting money even I am not using my mobile. No Services, no GPRS, nothing... I am fade up this company. Anybody is listening??

              But so far, only Rs.50/- was credited to my account.

              The remaining balance was supposed to be credited within the next 48 hours, but it was not done so.

              Airtel Mobile — Requirement to deactivate MVC

              Airtel Mobile India has been unsolictedly deducting money for models video club for which I did not subscribe or gave my consent for subscription.               On 28/11/12 at around 8:10 am Rs 113/- was deducted from my airtel number ([protected]) for opening gprs, from my main balance while there was 125 MB net balance in my mobile. I made complaint (ref no CWRCH[protected]). Initially I was told that I would get back the money since the deduction was due to server fault. But after 2 days I was informed that I will not get back the money since I had low net balance (3.14 MB) in my Pack 1. Now I want to know why my net charge was not deducted first from my Pack 2 since there was 125 MB net balance. Secondly if it is rule ( though I don't know where it is written ) to deduct net charge first from Pack 1, then why I was not made alert by message that my net balance in Pack 1 had reached zero balance ? Third why I failed to contact with customer care from my airtel number from 29/11/12 but easily got connection from other airtel number?

              On 08/12/12 in the morning around 8 am Rs 93/- was deducted from my airtel balance of Rs 99.34/- and two message came, each showing deduction of Rs 30/- for downloading and my balance was left only 6.34/-. But I didn't download anything, still the money was deducted. I tried to contact customer care from my airtel number ([protected] )but failed. At last on 10/12/12 at 10 pm I contacted customer care from other airtel phone. They told me that 60/- was deducted (though actually 93/- rupees was deducted) but they can't do anything against that deduction.

              im using Blackberry internet service in airtel. my no is [protected]. After activating my BIS plan airtel took all my balance from my account more than rs.12.97. Before a month I already have these kind of problem they told sorry its our problem and refunded it. but this time while im calling 7070 the caller told they are airtel prepaid customer care. i continued try for 4 more days. before 2 days swathi took the call and told that we cant refund the fund and i asked for what you took my money there is no proper response. she told that she didnt have the detail because its prepaid care then without my opinoion transferred to landlind and braodband department. there i spoke with syed. i told him to connect with Blackberry customer care service he told ok but he connected my call with airtel prepaid care. there i spoke with selvarani. she told she will connect with higher authority and disconnected the call.                 Dear Sir,

                I am ex-armed force personal and presently employed in Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur as Associate Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. I obtained a mobile SIM card from Airtel on 5 Jul 2009 from Udaipur bearing No. [protected].I have submitted a letter from the University authority on the letter head for residential proof and copy of PAN card for photo ID. I have submitted the SIM requsition from filled up by own hand writing have received four telephonic calls from Airtel office for verification of address and I have responded to their call to the best of my satisfaction. After a gap of two months, they have blocked my SIM on 30th Aug 2009. I have consulted the custumer care centre at jaipur through mail. They repplied that my address is in correct. I have intimated that I have filled up the requisition for SIM with my own hand writting and I asked them to show the same and justify that my address is in correct. They assured that they will do the needful at their end and resolve the issue. Ten days after that they have intimated me to contact in Call Centre at Udaipur. I went to the call centre atUdaipur and the in-charge of call centre has asked me to pay Rs.49/- and take a fresh SIM. I have a balance of Rs. 750/- approximately in my previous SIM. I do not understand, how can they direct me to take a fresh SIM. Moreover, how can they block my number after producing all documents and responding to their telephonic calls? The in-charge of call centre has intimated that they have called me three times on 25th Aug 2009 and I have not responded to their telephonic calls. Further to state that I have not received any telephonic call from Airtel on 25th August,9009 nor there is any sign of miss call in my mobile. These people are intentionally harassing the customer to earn money through corrupt practices.
                The matter was reported to the nodal officer at (nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in). I have waited for ten days and received the reply from the nodal officer that due to negative verification of address my SIM no. [protected] has been blocked since 30 August 2009 and again I was directed to contact to the call centre at Udaipur. I have attended to their calls and my address is correct with all documentary evidences. Then how can they say that negative verification of address.
                Further, I have submitted my representation to the appellate officer(appellate.[protected]@airtel.in) and received the same reply. The appellate officer has intimated me that my number has been recalculated and the same can not be activated again and he has directed me to consult to the customer care centre again. Also the customer care centre has directed me to contact to the local call centre at udaipur.
                The issue has been represented to the following authorities.
                1.Sunil Bharati Mittal, CMD,Bharati Airtel Limited
                2.Tecom Regulatory Authority of India
                3. President, National Consumer dispute redressal commission, New Dehhi
                4. President, Rajasthan State Consumer dispute redressal Commission, jaipur
                5. Ministry of Information and broadcasting

                I request you to kindly help me to get my balance amout back or to restore my SIM at the earlist. Due to lack of communication I have already faced mental and financial losses.

                Kindly help me to resolve the issue. Finally, I may report the matter in local court to get rid from unwarranted trouble and harassment. People creating mean to earn money through corrupt practices must be penalized. Airtel company may kindly be directed to refund balance of my amount with compensation.

During the payment, I got the success message from the bank and the money is deducted(Amount paid to Airtel: BHARTI TELEVENTURES LTD (BILL DESK)) from my account. But I got the Recharge Unsuccessful message from the Airtel, but still the deducted amount is not refunded to me.
                  This is happen 3 times. The details of the failed transaction are as follows.

                  2) Rs: 249 Date:30/03/2013 Transaction ID: 364092 Transaction Description : ICONN/69966994/310313/BHARTI TELEVENTURE

                    Telecallers from Airtel called me for Postpaid offers for that Air-tel executive came on 4th may 2013 and issued a postpaid simcard and taken ID proof and 300 Rupees of security deposits relationship form number (TNPA 208115) therefore it have to migrate but still no response ,if I call to 121 mean these people had said " prepaid department no information" than if I call to postpaid customer care they said "you are using prepaid number no information" call to nodal office 'Nodel office will give voice message and cutoff no executive will talk with us
                    They didn,t came for verification too ,even I was using Aitel Broadband only ,How they cant verify?

                      My Customer ID is [protected]. My starting pkg was of Rs. 250, which was going to end on 15th May. I have started contacting Airtel Customer Rep and Supervisors for Ala Carte package. First of all, I will get all the details on website so I have decided to create an online account. I was not able to create an account, so I have written so many email and finally they have provided me a temp username/password to create the account. Then I was trying to activate Ala Carte pkg. I have selected the channels and fill out the details, but that information not coming to my email. Then on 15th my account got suspended. One of your supervisor on 15th Morning suggested me to recharge the Amount of Ala Carte pkg, it was just Rs. 219/- so I have recharged my account for Rs. 220. And my Rs. 250 current pkg has been extended for less validity. Ala Carte is not activated. I understand that Airtel do not have money and that's why not helping customers for activating Ala Carte, so customers are forced to take your pkg. Really disgusting.

                      In my experience, I have never seen a fraud company like Airtel. Even without a subscribing to any of the services like jokes, hello tunes, they loot the money from unsuspecting customers. You recharge for Rs. 100 and after a few days even without using the service, your Rs. 50 would have disappeared. When we call the customer service, you never get any satisfactory reply. they play all sorts of gimmicks like "We are extremely sorry" type of apologies, but you never get an answer for the money looted from your pocket. In my view, Airtel is the most fraudulent company in the mobile business in India. Their motto is "Loot the customer when they are sleeping. And even if 5% of them wake up, then give them "We are extremely sorry" kind of dossiers.

                      We need a mass campaign to stop these Unethical Practices. If not today, the thief will be caught tomorrow.
                      I had recently purchesed an airtel SIM in my name, I provided all the address correctly. within a week of purchease, the airtel has called my mobile for confirmation of the address and other details, as I was not aware of this new policy of Airtel (which was not mentioned in the application form when I purchased the SIM), the phone was attended by my mother when Airtel called me, as I met with an accident and was taking bedrest, I asked my mother to attend all calls and give only the important call to me. The airtel customer care has spoken in english and not in the local language, my mother thought it is just a promotional call and disconnected the call after speaking to them.
                      But 2 days later my SIM was debarred saying that the concerned person is not using the phone. they wanted only me to attend when they call, not anyone else to pick the phone (How ridiculous is their policy). they have not even refunded my money. They have harrassed me mentally, I want to Sue Airtel for idiotic policy.

                      MY AIRTEL PHONE HAS BEEN DEAD FOR OVER A WEEK[protected].
                      This is wrt to my airtel landline i have reported my complaint multiple time since a week and everytime I get a new complaint number and a sms on my mobile stating that my phone line has been restored. In fact once even a lines man called and said my phone is fine but it is still DEAD in my house with neither the phone line or internet working- SEEMS LIKE AIRTEL HAS MADE A JOKE OF THIS WHOLE THING. IF I CANNOT GET A PHONE REPAIRED FOR A WEEK AND SOMEONE IS MISUSING IT AS I HAVE REPORTED THEN NEITHER DO I WANT THIS CONNECTION NOR DO I WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH AIRTEL WHO SEEM TO BE ENCORAGING FRAUD AND THEFT. My LAST two complaint numbers ARE 36322674 AND[protected] THE EARLIER ONES I DONT REMEMBER. AS REPORTED THERE IS THEFT – FRAUD- MISUSE ON THIS LINE BY SOME AIRTEL PERSONELL AND LINESMAN OR SOMEONE OUTSIDE AND PLEASE DISCONNECT MY LINE AND TERMINATE MY ACCOUNT RETURN MY BALANCE AS YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF REPAIRING IT OR TAKING ANY ACTION. I WILL GET A RELAINCE OR TATA INDICOM WHICH IS MORE RELIABLE AND WHO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER UNLIKE AIRTEL WHO THINK CUSTOMERS ARE FOOLS AND ONLY INTERSTED IN MAKING MONEY WITH ZERO OR NEGATIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

                      Airtel — Fraud attempt , getting more money

                      I took 2 connection on january 27, with 1000 Rs deposit, with in 4 days they disconnected one sim, I asked customer care , they denied to activate , but one sim was activated , i could not under stand y they have done like this , finally i got 2000Rs bill , i did not pay the amount for ([protected])long time , one day a Rep from Airtel called me from [protected] and scold me , I also scolded him . Now thay are asking amount additionally 500 Rs for legel charge. My deposit was gone. They are asking money only , They dont respect what i am saying . I feel airtel is a fraud mobile network , Dont believe this network, Also i have one more connection [protected], I paid 500 deposit , Initially they told me that after 3 months your deposit Amt will be refuned in your bill , I have been to Airtel showroom , written request letter as per their suggestion, They did not refund my amount , I have lose 2000 Rs sofar by airtel ,
                      ABSOLUTELY NOT !! RAKESH, IT HAS STILL NOT BEEN RESOLVED. I AM STILL BEING CHARGED RS 1.50 PER NATIONAL SMS.

                      I AM SUPPOSED TO ENJOY ALL SERVICES FOR 50PS UNTIL FEB 12, 2012. I HAVE A SPECIAL TARIFF FOR 1 YEAR, AS I MENTIONED ABOVE !!

                      BUT I DONT THINK YOU OR THE CALL CENTER UNDERSTAND THIS.

                      FRAUD BY AIRTEL
                      have taken a AIRTEL special tariff plan valid for a year on Feb 10, 2011 for number [protected] of Rs 50 new connection. The plan entitles me to 50ps/min for all national and local calls and 50ps/SMS for all national and local SMS till Feb 10, 2012. Its even showing as special tariff when I query *111# on my mobile.

                      But since PAST 3 WEEKS suddenly I am being charged Rs 1.5/SMS for national and Rs 1 per local SMS with change of plan happening without my cognizance.

                      Customer Service is so poor, they flatly denied existence of any such plan on a new connection. I tried my best convincing them, but to no avail with such unresponsive and stubborn call center executives.

                      I gave TWICE complaint on this site but NO RESOLUTION AND NOBODY CALLED ME FROM AIRTLE !!
                      UNWANTED FORCED SMS SHOULD NOT BE SEND

                      Airtel is huge in India but the service is poor just because they have outsourced certain units to sub dealers who dont even bother quality. I am an internet user and my life bread and butter depends on what i do online, when i registered for a broadband connection from airtel i had people come to my place the same day to my surprise within hours to collect details. I gave them all the details and also INR 1100 for installation, which was promised within 24 hours, but i had to call after 3 days to check if i will get internet. Airtel customer service had no idea of what i was calling for, fine i called the guy who had come to collect my details, some women picks up and speaks in kannada and says he is not there. My second attempt i called a reference number i was given and that gentleman said he will go to office and check, in case the order is processed it will take three days for refund or its the same day. I did not receive any call. I waited for 3 more days and called the agent who came to collect my details again, he answered stating that he was out of town and just came back and will go to the office and check on my refund of Rs1100. Its been more than three weeks in fact almost a month that there has been no response. Dealers are supposedly at millers road in-spite of calling and asking for address they have not given me the right one. Their names are Ravindra and Mr Reddy who came to collect my documents, I just want to know are such fraudulent activities done by airtel for more money because i have airtel registration form with details and numbers please contact me on [protected] for more details

                        This is to inform that I was charged uniformly by airtel and my cell no. [protected] was barred. Now they are continuously increasing my bill on the basis of rental though my cell phone is not working.
                        A number [protected] which claims to be from airtel office lucknow is calling on cell number of my relatives and friends. I dont from where they have got the contact details of my relatives and collegues. They are using abusive language and misbehaving with them. Some times they shout and even use vulgar languages with my relatives. They are constantly doing this since last two months. Being a girl i m getting calls from my relatives and they are telling me about such calls and misbehavior. This type of attitude and recovery idea is very bad on part of a big telecom circle like airtel. Though my security amount is lying with them, they are creating mental harrashment over me. Please help me and take legal action so that such type of attitude is not repeated with my colleagues further.

                          I have been using an Airtel prepaid connection ([protected]) in Noida (NCR) for the past 5 yrs. I had a balance of Rs. 39 and connected to internet through GPRS for accessing Whatsapp application. I hav just sent a single message to one of my contacts on Whatsapp. I was online for around 10 minutes & then disconnected the internet. To my outmost shock, I see a message stating that my balance has been deducted & now I am left with just 80 paise in my account. The fact is that I have not subscribed any of the internet packs offered by airtel; neither did I give any call for subscription, nor did I send any sms, & 10 minutes o[censored]sage of data services cannot be so high so that Rs. 39 is directly deducted from my account.

                          We, customers, are not fools sitting over here that your company exploits the customers in any possible way. I do not have enough balance in my account to speak to the hopeless Customer care executives who hardly respond after making us wait for infinite duration. therefore, I hope some action is taken soon otherwise I will simply terminate the Airtel prepaid service & will definitely encourage all Airtel customers known to me to do the same.

                          Previously also, almost 2 years back I had faced similar kind of problem. Is this your Profit-making method by simply cheating the customers. I had full faith on Airtel but now I am really pissed off. I am sure many must have faced the same problem. The question is not of the mere Rs. 39 that have been deducted but this should not happen when the customer has not subscribed for anything at all.

                          It seems that Airtel just hunts for the slightest pretext to deduct money from the customers.

                            This is for my Corporate Postpaid Mobile Connection Numbers [protected] and [protected] in Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh).
                            I am not getting signal coverage at my indoor address since last 2 years.
                            I made 100′s of complaints via emails, phone, ARC, etc. but all in vain. All SRs are closed forcefully saying duplicate SR, customer not contactable, partial coverage. All reasons are fake, as Airtel never contacted me for this issue, even after raising so many SRs.
                            At time of giving connection Airtel promises robust network and coverage, which is actually never available practically.
                            If you give partial coverage then why not you charge me for that partial rent on my postpaid nos.
                            I get call drops immediately and get charged for them too.
                            I am mentally harassed and frustrated using your connection due to no signals.
                            I have to wait for 1 hour to get signal in my mobile at a small place in my home where 1 point of signal comes, and that too gets dropped off after few seconds/minutes.
                            I was told that Airtel is installing a tower in my area. On asking for new tower details, they never provide, because actually it never exists.
                            Kindly resolve my issue in another 1 week or provide me signal booster, which I requested 100 times but never got it.
                            If this issue is not resolved immediately then I shall send this message on all your marketing agents like FB, twitter, linkedin, etc and yahoo group where 10,000 employees of my company are members. Anyhow 30% of my employees have already left your connection due to poor signals.
                            Even your Nodal officers and Appellate authorities are not serious to reply my emails/calls to them. Take this issue very seriously.

                            Airtel Mobile — no coverage

                            I am using Airtel mobile -3 connections including a Blackberry.
                            I shifted my residence from Mylapore -Chennai to Perungudi in Chennai.The place i have shifted is bang in the midst of IT corridor and is is close to Tidal Park.
                            In the last four months i have made atlest 30 comlains to Airtel about poor coverage and the consequent losses i have suffered in my profession.
                            Each time some body will take the complaint and confirm that the fault will be addressed quickly.
                            But nothing has happened so far.
                            So i have deactivated my Blackberry and is in the process of shifting lockstock barrel to another service provider.
                            I am a very senior corporate citizen and i am holding board positions in many reputed cos .
                            I was a director in The Times Of India group for many years and now wonder whether its too premature to reward persons like Sunil Mittal as the Best businessman of the year even as the co run by him has not demonstrated sustainable Excellence.
                            But this is only expected in a country like in India where even trivial achievements are glorified.
                            By the way is there a quick mechanism to sue Aitet and the Board of Directors for the suffering they have perptrated on customers like me

From Mangalore Suliia Taluk. i have Airtel number. last week new airtel mobile tower Charged [in BALPA]. but i cann't get signal now.so that number dead waste & also dead invest . Please give more coverage or turn antennas to cover more are and also i request please cover KAMILA village also.
                            AIRTEL doesn't have proper coverage in my area Manapakkam and even in my office located in ASCENDAS IT Park. Even after launching compliants there is no action from AIRTEL.

                            IF we delay the payment for single day they will followup for N times for complaints they never do the followup. Also they will one bill plan during enquiry and when the bill comes it will be totally different.

                            They are the cheating customers with charging more money and not giving the required coverage.

                            Friends, never opt for Airtel connection as their services are worst than any other mobile connection provider in India. They don't have adequate towers, signals are always too weak wherever you go in India. Also their Customer care team is so stupid and , even 5th pass student knows more than them. Airtel just concentrates on increasing revenue and Customer base, but ignores that they don't have sufficient mobile towers to handle that many Customers.
                            Airtel is not doing any solution and just showing that they care for you. Infact i will rate then -100 (negative 100) out of 100.
                            You Airtel, stop making Customers fool by your 3G and now this 4G. Why don't u atleast make your 2G network stronger instead of wasting money in 3G and 4G?
                            Now my only aim is to reduce Customer base of Airtel, which I have already done for 1000 connections in Hyderabad.

                              [My request to Stop stop stop closing my cancellation request with fake reasons]

                              Few months back i put a complain regarding Airtel in this forum.

                              i made the biggest mistake of my life by choosing Airtel again.

                              (For service and quality purpose you guys record the conversation, so please refer to that if possible and not trusting all those good(false) comment and remark your guys put against a complain number when some body give you a call)

                              1]SR Number[protected]shifting Req by me) (1st may to 6th may)

                              On 1st may i raised this request for shifting(within the same zip code, not even to a different city). They told me it will take 6 days so by 6th 8.30PM i ll be able to use my connection. Then after 3rd of may i called them to follow what was the progress. They didn't provide me any info, but promised me it will not cross the dead line. And this continues till 6th 8.30PM till then i called them as many as 6 times.

                              but the customer care people only know few line which they repeat n numbers of time.

                              Sorry for the inconvenience.
                              Reminding you about their dead line/SLA.{its like don't you dare call us again before this deadline}
                              we are putting this on high priority.{which they never do}.
                              we ll arrange a call from my manager/concerned team in next 2 hours.{which you ll never get}

                              Later i found out that there is some technical issue from their end (some RSU Mismatch), so they are hiding the truth.

                              So on 7th from their side they re-raise this request.The very next day a guy came to my place. He checked some stuff here and there and told me that there is a technical fault from their side (RSU mismatch again) and he left. i have my office work pending so i thought of canceling airtel and switch to some other service (which i already did yesterday.)

                              So i put a cancellation request. The very next day a someone called me from airtel [[protected]] and asked me about the cancellation and convinced me that they will give me connection that day itself i e 9th of may. They anathor guy called me from some other number [[protected]] and he also told me the same thing to give me connection by EOD and close my cancellation request.

                              But nobody showed up till the evening, so i called the customer care. i came to know that guy close my cancellation request mentioning i was agreed for a 48 hr shifting time. i was so irritated.( Contd in next SR Number)

                              4]SR Number[protected] [i raised it for cancellation but i don't know what is this ]

                              So i told the guy to connect me to your manager. i told the manager to again raise a cancellation request The manager give me this request number saying sir this is your final cancellation request. which i later found was not even a cancellation request.

                              Again a guy called me from airtel[[protected]]. Asking me if i want to continued airtel. i said no no no. So he raise this cancellation number and told me the previous number was not a cancellation request. He again told me sir this is your final cancellation request.


                              i started to loose my patient.

                              Again today morning i got a sms with this reference number. i was not sure what this is about so i called who else , the customer care and inquired about this to found out that it is a shifting request i raised yesterday. For god shake stop lying.

                              and he again game me a new request number Saying it will be the final cancellation number.

                              So moral of the story i ll keep raising the cancellation request and you guys keep closing my cancellation request for fake reasons and putting false/fake remark against all those above request.


                              i didn't mention all conversation here , only putting a summery here.
                              you guys really torture your customer.

                              After going through all this i ll not use any Airtel product till i am alive. Even i am thinking of not using any product which names started with a "A". Coz i never experienced a product this bad honestly.


                              Please cancel my my connection ASAP.

                                  I wanted to complain about the Airtel postpaid service. I registered a request to terminate my mobile connection as i had some signal issues and i was not satisfied by their service. I registered the complaint on 9th may for the same. They said i will get a call from their technical team and my number will be terminated. but they keep on calling me to convince me to not to cancel the connection. I am really frustrated with this and i just want my number to be terminated. The Service request no. is 50447045

                                    Hello,

                                    I had registered for a new broadband connection from airtel in the Electronic City area last month. One of your representatives came to my house on the 17th of April and collected Rs. 500 from me as enrollment fees. They then informed me that they could not provide me with a connection and that my money will refunded before the end of April 2013. Then, last Tuesday (30th of April), I got a call from someone called Sekar (ph. [protected]) saying that the connection was available and that he had come to do the installation. I was travelling to Chennai then and I asked him to finish the installation and collect the money (for the wifi router) from me the next day. But he said that he can do the installation only if I paid him and that he will come back on Thursday. I called him on Thursday morning and he confirmed that he will come to my house at about 7 pm that day. But I waited for him till 9 pm and he never came and didnt answer my phone calls either. The same thing happened today as well and when asked when he will give me the connection, he said that he will not come for at least two more days.

                                    This is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible behaviour from Airtel. I have lodged numerous complaints since the 17th of April and so far nothing has happened. The people at the customer care services dont have a clue as to what is happening and they actually disconnected my call after asking me to wait.

                                    I understand that your services are in a lot of demand and that you dont really care about an individual problem like I have. If you cannot give me the connection, can you at least give me money back? What you have done to me over the past 3 weeks or so is nothing short of cheating.

                                    My airtel account number is [protected].

                                    I had sent a mail to the Nodal team a week ago and I still havent got the equipment and the installation has not been done yet. I had called the customer care and they informed me that the installation manager Manohar (Ph. [protected]) would call me and figure out when I will be comfortable to get the installation done. He never called me and after trying his number for almost 5 hours (why do your employees never answer calls??) I got through to him at 5.30 pm. I asked him if he could do the installation at 6.30 pm as I wouldnt reach home before that. He then asked one of his subordinates, Kiran (Ph. [protected]), to do the installation and he told me that he will come to my house at 7.15 pm. I then waited for him to come to my house, but he never did. I repeatedly called his mobile, but he had switched it off and Manohar didnt answer my calls either. Kiran finally came to my house at 10 pm and then told me, arrogantly, that he didnt have the necessary equipment to do the installation.

                                    Obviously, I still dont have a working broadband connection. This is appalling, considering the fact that I had paid for the connection almost a month ago. Is anything being done to inform your engineers on how to behave with the customers?

                                    I am still having problems with Kiran. He came to my house at 9.30 pm yesterday and did the installation and showed us the broadband speed on his laptop using an ethernet cable. We then asked him to show us the broadband speed using the wifi network. But he told us that his laptop battery had suddenly drained and that he didnt have a battery charger with him. We told him that we can pay him only after verifying the speed on the wifi network after which he talked to us in a threatening manner and uninstalled everything and took the equipment with him.

                                    This has been an extremely unpleasant experience for me and I have had enough of your so-called services. Please cancel my enrollment and refund the money (Rs. 500) I had paid, as soon as possible.

                                      Hi,

                                      I am using broad band internet connection of Airtel company . Every thing was working till yesterday . But today phone was dead and internet stopped working . After 6-8 hours phone started working and internet as well . Unfortunately 80 % sites ( including yahoo.com , facebook.com and many more ) can't accessible after this , while we can access those sites using other network / connections .

                                      After facing this issue whole day when I called customer care[protected] . in first call their executive kept me on hold for 30 + minutes .

                                      I disconnected call and tried again this time I got executive but he told me if google and youtube is working every thing is okay we can't help you with specific sites even those are all . if a single site ( google ) is working . We can't help you at all .

                                      I have asked several times executive to help me out as this kind of issue happened to me few years ago as well and airtel helped me that just for a single site .

                                      This email is with regards to complaint number 33839146 lodged by me on June 14, 2010. This complaint is regarding my Airtel internet connection which is not working since the last 4 days. I have been repeatedly calling up Airtel Customer Care and each time I am given a false assurance that someone from Airtel will attend to the problem shortly and it will be resolved within 2-4 hours.

                                      It is the same case today as well. I had called up in the morning and spoken to Airtel Customer Care. I have been given an assurance that the problem will be resolved within 4 hours. 4 hours have elapsed but I am still not getting the internet connectivity at my place.

                                      Please let me know the escalation path so that I can escalate this case to the appropriate level. This kind o[censored]nprofessional behavior was not expected out of a reputed organization like Airtel.

                                      Airtel should take this case on priority and resolve the issue immediately.

                                        I purchased an Airtel DTH connection in March 2013, but my STB had some technical fault within 2 months of purchase. When i called the customer care the provided me the services within 2 hours, but they replaced my new STB with an old repaired model, which i think Airtel does not provide anymore. When the company charges for new STB and Dish, they ought to provide new models, and if it has some faults, the company should be responsible to replace the faulty model by new model, and not by any outdated, repaired one. please response.
