I had availed of Airtel's 'advance rental plan for getting a broadband cum land line in the month on April. the executive collected the documents and cheque i paid for a 6 months advance rental plan. When I asked for a receipt of the cheque to the executive, I was told that it will be reflected as 'paid' in the 1st months bill for the land line. Last month when I received the bill for the land line which was showing no amount was paid! so I got in touch with the call centre and asked them about it. I also got in touch with the executive who had collected my documents and cheque to inform him about this issue. He asked me for the cheque details, which I also provided him. he promised to call me back. A day later I got a call from the call centre asking me about non-payment of the bill. I explained that I had give a cheque and provided the details of the same to them. I also provided the details (name and contact no) of the executive who had collected the cheque. After this call, the executive never called me and when I tried calling the executive; he did not pick up my calls.

Thus began the journey of getting innumerable calls from the call centre. Every time its a new executive who has been calling and asking me about the same details and giving me a new complaint no. each time with a promise to close it in the next 48 hours. They have been asking me for a copy of my bank statement showing clearance of 'THE CHEQUE' when time and again I have told them that its not getting reflected in my statement and its not presented to my bank. I am then being asked for a copy of the cheque that I had issues, as proof. This is a ridiculous expectations - noone would give me a connection until I would have made payment in some mode. I have been asking Airtel to accept that the cheque is lost at their end and that they can bear the stop payment charges that my bank would levy on me; I would then issue another cheque.

Now I have got collections not only calling up and harassing me, but also visiting my house. on each occasion, I am been asked about 'THE ISUUE''! I have told them that I refuse to give any more information and to get in touch with their internal teams before they try to get in touch with me in anyway. I don't see this going anywhere now and therefore would like to lodge a complaint of harassment against Airtel

AirTel — Loss of documents

I got a post-paid connection for my company Envigo Ltd after submitting all documents which were asked for. There was a verification also done by Airtel when your representatives visited the premises.
Then I received two different phone calls from the same office telling me to submit missing documents, which I had not submitted.

There were two things wrong:
1. I had submitted all documents.
2. on each of the calls, a different set of documents were asked for

All my identity documents have been lost and Airtel is responsible in case they are misused. This is gross negligence, if not an outright sale of identity related documents to tele-marketers or worse, to fraudsters.

I plan to take this forward as a formal complaint. Can someone advise which is the best place to raise this as a formal complaint?

Airtel — Payment collected by your Exec. for aonther Plan

On 30/05/2009 your Exec. DIPIKA Mob. No. [protected], send company staff member for collecting form & payment. Person collected Rs.5500/- for plan charges & Mobile Sets of NOKIA-1650, he assutred to deliver the sets on 31/05/2009. But till time there is no response from them. Pl. confirm & give me repply Pl.

    I purchased new STB (Set Top Box) with HD. I paid more than Rs. 2700.00 for the same.
    I was provided set of hardware (Includes dish antena, cables and STB.
    There was a manufacturing defect in STB which cause software updation everytime i switched on the STB.
    I reported this problem to Airtel customer care as well as to the Gujarat Nodal Officer of Airtel DTH.

    Instead of reparing the same STB, they gave me another STB which was already used by someone else.

    Either they should repair my own STB or they should provide me a New STB, but they gave me used old STB, which is bigger in size also.

    I reported to customer care again for providing me a new STB, but they did not respond to me.

    Please help me.

    AirTel — Set top box problem

    I had purchased airtel DTH 1 year back. In 1 year my set top box replaced by airtel 3 times due to problem with settop box. Last replaced by them was not a new one. they have given me old repaired one (from some one else). Now again settop box has started making problems. But they are closing the complaints without solving problem. No response from their side.

    My Airtel DTH ID are [protected]. the Settop Box has been stop working before the warranty period of 12 months the same has been replaced in the 7 days on my Regiourous followups. after the 2 months the replaced settop box has been stop working and after filling the complaints the Engineer visited 2nd day and told to repalce the Digicom..
    but after the 4 days now the same is still not replaced and we are unable to view the TV.

    i have paid the Airtel 6 months rental advance and now on their mercy to watch the TV.
    great services...shame on the same Mr.Mittal..

    Airtel DTH — STB Issue

    Hi,

    I have raised 3 Complaints SR, 3 delay in resolution & 2 wrong resolution complaints but my problem in not yet resolved, detail is as follows:

    1.Complin SR No.[protected] Date 26/08/11 which was closed without giving any resolution
    2. Again Complain raised as wrong resolution SR No. 11402115 on 29/08/11 .....result SR closed without resolution again.
    3. Wrong Resolution SR no. 11474737 on 31/08/11...result no response from Airtel
    4. Two delay in resolution complain raised on 03/09/11 with request no. 11546127 & 11568605 ..
    5. Fresh SR no. 11698316 dated 08/09/11
    5. Delay in resolution SR no. 11738299 dated 09.09.11
    6. SR no. 11772713 dated 10.09.11

    Still numnber is counting....but there is no resolution by Airtel

    Dear my friend,

    I am also facing the same issue. I have also raised 2 complaints for the stb issue but no resolution and the days are counting. I am frustrated with them and finally decided to disconnect the service.

    I am telling you withy exp, Airtel is one of the worst in terms of serving the customers. They are focussed only on increasing their revenue quarter by quarter.

    I suggest you to go for some other service provider.

    Still there is no resolution...only commitment ...Delay in Resolution SR No. is 11870293 dated 13.09.11..

    Now total complaint count is 8 and it is pending from 26/08/11...

    it is very unfortunate that some pepole don't want to work but manage there KPIs and don't care about image of organisation !!!

    My complaint is closed without giving any resolution...at the one side you are saying that you will resolve complaint and on THE OTHER SIDE CLOSING COMPLAINTS IN SYSTEM WITOUT GIVING ANY RESOLUTION TO CUSTOMER!!!

      Hello my airtel mobile number is [protected] .
      I recharged my airtel number with a topup of Rs 200 on 12/06.2013 which is a full talk time topup. But I only received Rs175 as the recharge amount.
      When I inquired about this in the customer care of airtel , they told that it will be automatically added in 4 hours of time. But next day when I called they told that I have only recharged for Rs 175 which is a fraudulent statement. More over they made me wait for about 15 minutes to speak to their customer supervisor executive.
      Please take action against the company sir. Also they deduct Rs 2 or Rs 1 daily from my account without any reason stating that I have some pack activated on my account. When I call their customer care they claim that it is not true and I have no offers activated on my number.

      Please take action against Airtel and provide me and customers like me justice sir.

      Airtel — no top up in rs.200 recharge

      I got a airtel recharge done on 25th october at 6:43pm of rs.200 (trans id[protected].i just got a talktime of rs.1 and a month's validity.i called airtel and found out that it was a plan meant for 3G customers.As mine is not a 3G enabled set .The plan has got no use for me.therefore i request you to cancel the plan and give me talktime instead because its a waste of money for me.

        sir on 27th December 2012 i made a request from airtel digital tv customer care to install a dth to my home,they have deducted the amount of 2700 from my credit card and promised to install in few days but afterwards they didnt installed the tv by giving some excuses,i have called them so many times for refund but they r not entertaing.
        and they r caliing me alltime for recharging the dth connection.i am paying a monthly 100 rupees fine when my airtel mobile bill payment is delayed.i made a accidnt when reciving there call by car,i need companciation of 50 thousand for this mental harrasment for 20 months,my airtel digital tv account ID is [protected].and order id is 932894.

        Hi,
        I would like to know, is their any action take by AIRTEL/BHARTI to solve this issue? I called on 121, two times. But they couldnt give me any details, and even they didn try to help. Ones my complaint is register, you should follow me. But people from AIRTEL asked me to call me on 121, next day or in the morning. And whenever I make called very easly AIRTEL answer machine fool us, by saying press 1, 2, 3, ... for this and that service. And at they end we didnt get any result/detail.

        Airtel is fraud. — Airtel real fraud.

        This is very serious issue. On 13 Aug. 2008. I have recharged my mobile with the amount 1947. in the service reply we are getting the message recharge with 1947 will

        Get 1947 talk time and all STD should be 1Rs. But when I recharge I got 1947 talk time but the STD at 1 Rs. is not activated.

        I had talk with customer care. She says offer ended but till even two days after when I press *123# I am getting message like. with 1947 will

        Get 1947 talk time and all STD should be 1Rs. again speak with customer care another people says send message 1947 to 170 your std pack will activated within 72 hours . I did and I received reply

        Thank you for choosing airtel std pack on easy recharge with Rs. 1947 . your free std pack will activated within 72 hours . STD call at re 1/Min valid for 30 days.

        Any one help me to register this issue with consumer court against airtel.

        Hi

        For past 3 days im asking airtel people to cancel my fixedline and broadband[protected], its in the name of M.R.Srinivasan.But nobody is giving me correct procedure to disconnect. They are fooling me by telling that my wife has asked them to retain the connection, its totally impossible b`coz she is out of station.

        Next thing Airtel people are clever that they charge late payment fee though the bill is paid before the due and there are many hidden charges also.Im in the plan of 799 rental with 256kbps speed but they dont provide really that much only for two or three days after complaint they do.

        So im really fed up of this and i want to move out.

        on basis of a scheme, we paid for a sim card in which.the scheme applied offered three connections in which airtel to airtel was free .first 3000 airtel calls were absolutely free .the reciept given shows the address of of an airtel branch.

        I would like to file a case against Airtel for foul play and fraud which has been going on for about a month now. There are three incidents for which i have collected evidence to support my cause. Could you please guide me on what needs to be done next.

        on 11.02.009 i received a call from a lady named miss shruti [protected] ...she told that they got a new offer for me as my number has been chosen lucky...the offer was that with recharge of 580 rs i will get full talk time + i will get 200 messages free +all A to A calls will be charged 30 paise per minute + A to other mobile and land line will be charged 50 paise per minute +sdt calls at 0.99 pasise per minute..this offer was for life time...
        i told her call me back next day...she called me up and i was interested in the offer ...so i gave her my home address...the she told me that she will be sending her executive to my place to collect the money and proof next day...on 13.02 .09 the executive came to my place to collect the money ...he asked me fill the form ...then after filling the form a gave him the money and he gave back the receipt...and he told me taht the offer will get activated within 12 hour..till now offer has not been activated...so plz help me ...
        I got my voucher activated with lifetime scheme{rs 99} and recharged it with Rs 100 topup.
        I received sms's regarding confirmation of the above activities but after a day all the amount and activation was gone and it said that your sim card is not activated.
        I consulted the shop<Sheetal Communications, D park, Rohtak 124001, haryana> but they are doing nothing.
        I also consulted the Airtel's relationships manager of our region and he is also doing nothing.

        Dear Sir,

        I would like you to intervene as i am very upset by the way of working and customer service provided by Airtel.

        I am an Airtel customer with a prepaid connection from past six years. Recently, on 19 th feb 2008 i received a call from a tele caller from airtel stating that being a vintage customer i`m being offered with a scheme wherein i would be charged with 30 paise for local Airtel to airtel calls and 50 paise on sms and calls to other numbers for which i will have to pay Rs.580/- towards subscription and the scheme would be activated within three hours of filling up the form and payment.I agreed to it and the executive visited my place on 23rd feb and asked me to fill up the enrollment form and collected the said amount from me.He also provided me with the contact number of the telecaller for further assistance.As the scheme was not activated i tried calling the numbers provided to me but the same is contactable.

        Seeing this i forwarded the mail to their complaint redressal Email id but i received a reply on my reminder mail stating to visit the airtel relationship center for redressal.As instructed i visited the center but the executives out there refused to help and asked me to call their hotline number 999 from their ARC.I contacted them and a lady called Harshita attended me and was only reciting apology and refused to assist further.So i insisted to speak to their manager and Mr. Moshin came online. He too refused to provide me with the details of the numbers from which i received the call and advised me to go legally with the issue.

        So i request you Sir, please intervene and help me resolve this issue and take strict action against this company as i suspect fraud due to following reasons:
        1 - Disclosing the details of the customer to third party without consent of the customer, as the person called had all my details which i had provided with Airtel.
        2 - The executive who visited had all the details i.e form, ID from airtel.
        3 - The number from which i received the call is similar to the number from which i also receives voice recorded calls for the promotion of the new facility from airtel.
        4 - Airtel, if was genuine and not a part of this fraud then would have definitely helped me in tracing the culprits who are disgracing the name of the company but instead they just tried to wave off by asking me to go legally and sowing their inability in taking action or providing the details of the number even though they had received many such complaints prior to mine.

        I request you to take quick action against them and get me reverted with the amount i lost and an compensation for mental stress, wastage of time and money, due to their improper way of working and carelessness.

        PLEASE ACTION FAST WHICH WOULD REDUCE FURTHER COMPLAINTS AS THEY MIGHT ALSO TRY THE SAME WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS.

        I am using Airtel mobile (prepaid) Recently (daily offer of the day*123*2# )at the time I have received a message from Airtel that is Megar star special movies Like rowdy alludu, gang leader Free RT, HT dail 5432124 at Rs.0 .. i called above number per minute they charged 6 rs its fraud statement.

        finnaly I called them they were tell only download free but call charges apply its big fraud

        Due to financial constraints and problematic FWP handset I lodged a request with the Airtel 121 helpline to have my 'FWP' Postpaid number [protected] converted into 'MOBILE' prepaid with the condition of retaining the same number, which they have been doing already for many of their customers as per the information given by their relationship center in Sector 12 Noida.

        With rigorous follow ups with them in person at the relationship center In Noida, then over calls and over e-mails for the last more than 10 days I have not yet got resolution on my issue. Seek your kind intervention to help resolve my issue the soonest as with each passing day I am incurring their rental amount which I am unable to afford currently.

        I must say, in the pursuit of maximising their revenue from each subscriber Airtel has have fallen to the lowest of cheapster-tricks.

        I want to ask the following from AIRTEL:

        The Pc Secure antivirus, that you apparently provide to your subscriber is a big fraud. and it does make good money for you, doesn't it? Random, unspesific actions of your subscriber activate this service. Whether the antivirus software has actually been isntalled on the poor subscriber's system is not at all required for you to charge him the money. And you continue to do so, every month, till the person actually finds out the fraud and questions you back. But by then you have made enough from one customer! Isn't it you frauds?

        How can you charge indefintely for a service that you have no proof is actually being used by your customer? Allocatino of activation key cannot be a reason for charging indefintely. And where in the cluster of your agreement with end-user does it mention that it is the subscriber's responsiblity to actually call you up and ask to de activate the service (whereas activation can happen without any actino of his!).

        I as a cusomter of airtel want to know:
        1. where is it mentioned that I will be ifnormed about this PS Secue antivurs activation? Even in the bill you cleverly hide it udner DSL Usage section.

        2. How can you put a subscription service under that sectino? DSL is for digital Subscriber Line. a networking term. How is that related to Antivirus? specially when there is not data flowing from ur DSL regarding that service?

        3. Why is the subscriber informed about this service in adequate detail? No one ever told me it is an antivirus. Everybody has an antivirus in their system. No one wants you stupid Pc Secure antivirus. If I were informed that an antivirus is being subscribed i would never have doen that. I feel cheated. Kindly explain whats your respone on this.

        I waited quite long at the airport and was continuously calling this person, WHO NEVER ANSWERED MY CALL AGAIN.
        As I visited my Bank again, the Manager informed me this account is in the name of Mr. K Narashima Reddy and K Vijaya.
        I have made a Police complain and went to the SBI Bank, Goregaon (west) Mumbai where I deposited the cash into his account, and the Manager of the Bank has gone ahead and blocked his account.
        The Police and the Bank Manager have asked me to contact as many people as I can to get details of this fraudster.

        I got the bloody connection 5 months back. I have asked them to disconnect my number. Those said that there is some bloody safe custody mode, in which there will be no rental and we can activate if needed by paying Rs. 300 in advance for 3 months. But i started receiving bills saying that u need to pay even if you are in safe custody mode. This is a real fraud. I just want to sue those people.

        I am absolutely frustrated by your AIRTEL SERVICES and thus writing to you being absolutely frustrated by the services. I disconnected the phone on 26th Aug 2010 by calling the Airtel complaint number and got a confirmation that my rent will be discontinued within a day.

        The reason for disconnection was that someone was misusing my phone for the past three months and I was getting inflated bills. In fact in month of August- the phone did not work in my house for 20 days but was working in a neighbors’ house who was merrily using it- This was discovered by AIRTEL LINESMAN when he came to repair the phone after 20 complaints.


        I AM SHOUTIING NOW AS I AM TOTTAL FED UP DEALING WITH AIRTEL OFFICERS “THUS I DECIDED TO DISCONNECT THE PHONE AND THE DAY I DISCONNECTED I PULLED OUT THE WIRES AND THREW THE INSTRUMENT OUT OF THE HOUSE- SO I CANNOT EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW I HAVE GOT THIS BILL FOR 589 RS FROM 26TH AUG TO 25TH SEP WHEN I STOPPED USING THE PHONE ON 26TH AUG – DAY OF DISCONNECTION.”

        After this I have got hundreds of call for payment of this petty amount of 589 Rs. and now I have made it a point – I will not pay to make MR MITTALS COFFERS richer. Actually some time before I sign up for a Broadband connection from http://www.airtel.in and after one weak I got a call from airtel, and one of their executive came at my house and took al my details & amount of Rs.1299. But now when I contact to Airtel Broadband , they told me that None of their executive visit me ever .
        And I have been cheated !
        But the thing is that When I sign up with Airtel Broadband .then how can be it possible that some other guy got information about me.

        Message is "Airtel Digital TV special offer only for u! Recharge your id [protected] with Rs. 725 and get 3 months special pack + 10 days freed period as bonus! hurry!"

        I spoke to customer care executive for this offer on 25th April 2011 and he said first recharge your accound and call back to customer care to apply this scheme.
        I recharged on 25th April 2011 and phoned customer care today 26th April 2011 to apply this 10 days bonus scheme.
        Now she is saying that we can not give 10 days bonus to you. she transfered call to senior person but he said that I am lying about this kind of sms. And he hanged up the phone.


        Also when I purchased new Airtel DTH connection through customer care number and credit card, Airtel customer care executive told me that I will get 250 cash back because I booked this using credit card. I didn't get cash back and I registered complain. but without resolving this complain they closed it. So I asked customer care to reopen it on 25th April 2011. He said he has reopened it but I didn't get message with complain number.
        Airtel DTH provides all false promises just to sell their business and should be termed as the most ever thirdclass category. I asked is there any service provided from one set top box to 2 TVs in 2 different rooms?
        The Sales team (guy named Deepak) told its possible and he will tell his engineer to provide that service for me.
        Whereas when I asked the same question to Tata Sky they said it cannot be provided. This is the difference between Airtel and Tata Sky.
        Now the Query dept is saying no its not possible. They are not allowing me to speak to the Guy Deepak in Sales dept.
        When speaking to the person in the query dept, I asked my money back and I dont need the connection, but they are saying they dont know how to cancel and I need to talk to their customer service dept. God knows if I will get my money back also or not.
        I hate to say that the worst ever services i have got from Airtel and I rate them the worst ever DTH service provider.

        he confirmed me all the details and took money of Rs. 1500 for installation

        sucessfully installation of the same and issued me CAF no. 2631495 then he
        changed it 2672760 and again changed it 2672788 by him and till date needful
        not yet done and he also threated me and absued me that he will not install
        the connection and also he will not refund the money.

        Due to all this i got harrsed by him and lot of problems in my business.

        HOGI TAB MAIN LAGAUNGA AUR NAHI BHI LAGNAUGA JO UKHARNA HAI UKHAR LO".

        Amit Kumar has done FRAUD with me by using the name of AIRTEL.

        I requet you to please look into this matter and sort out the issue and take
        action againt this kind of ppl who demolish the very trusted name of AIRTEL

        After seeing Rs.250 cash back (if purchased online) offer on airtel website i have decided to buy airtel d2h online. On 1st July at around 5.30 PM, I submitted my name and phone number details on airtel website to buy airtel d2h connection. After submitting the web page displayed a message saying an airtel representative will contact me shortly to help me purchase d2h connection. After sometime i got a call from a person (number: [protected]) saying that he is an airtel representative and asked my email id and that he would send the details for making payment online. I got an email from lalit.[protected]@virti-interactive.com and a link http://offers.connectindia.in/checkout.htm is mentioned as payment details. On 2nd July at around 11.30 AM i got a call from the same person and said he would help make the payment online. After a payment of Rs.1590 is done a payment reference number[protected] was given. And i was told that the product will be delivered within 48 hours. But it was not delivered. I see a lot of fraud complaints against VRITI INTERACTIVE dated from 2010 and even before. WHY THE HELL NO ACTION IS BEING TAKEN AGAINST THESE VRITI????? This is clear fraud. PLEASE FOR GOD SAKE, TAKE ACTION AGAINST THOSE BASTARTDS, THEY ARE LOOTING PEOPLE LIKE ANYTHING.
        I got the dth connection yesterday. But i need to clarify few things. Does airtel really have an online tie up with Vriti/Connectindia. I feel that, if i had not registered a complaint in this forum airtel would not have bothered to deliver my product. Airtel should see that its online partners are genuine and don't loot their customers.

        I have recently shifted to Gurgaon from Delhi, one shifting to our new property , we wanted to have a land line connection , so an airtel representative name Mr. Chanden , with mobile number [protected], came to our place and filled in all forms and took Rs. 500 in cash, and said that this money is a scurity deposit, and will be adjusted in the next bill, since then nither i got the connection nor chanden came back to return the money, he said its Airtel who has to return the money, i am busy so i cant talk to you any more.

        This is how Airtel sales staff earn money from consumers. Rs. 500 per person, and u know how many conncections Airtel has in Gurgaon.

        And moreover was given totally wrong information by the airtel costumer care.Someone said that your money has not been deducted and someone said that it has been deducted in a call and the other that it was deducted while using internet.

        I just wanna ask the airtel people that taking small amount of money from citizens makes them rich, are they so in trouble.

On 10th of October I sent request for activating Internet on my SIM and i got message from 121 that please confirm by sending message ACTGPRS TO 121. I did that. and i got message that I will be charged rs198 for this. But on 14th October i got message that I am reaching my credit limit. So, i called customer care and asked him that about details. He said that I used Internet dat's why it reached 1000. Then i told him that i activated 198 plan on my sim. He replied that this plan was activated only for 4 days and after that they activated 10 ps per kB plan on my sim. without sending any confirmation message to me nd without my premission. And on 19th of October, again I got mesage that I reached 3000rs so i should make immedate payment of rs 2000 otherwise they will disconnect my service. So, i called customer care again. and the guy Mr. Dinesh told me that this service is actived on my SIM from 14th October. Even i never sent any request on 14th. and if You activated this plan on my SIM then why don't you send any message so i should aware of this. Now i am contacting many person from Airtel and everytime i got bad response. One person Mr. Anoop kumar he spoke very rudely. Please give me proper solution otherwise I will file complaint against you. As I am having proof that on 10th of October, I got message from you that the plan of 198 has been activated on my system.         Airtel is one of the Fraud service provider in industry. First and foremost thing is avoid them . Why can't you go for BSNL, ther installation is absolutely free and they will charge very less on usage.

        Right at the moment you can do one thing, you can complaint to TELECOM REGULATTION AUTHORITY OF INDIA (TRAI)and wait for their reply.
        Then if it is not favorable, you can approach consumer court. But before that you can register a complaint with AIR TEL and get the complaint number. You can use that number in all your complaints, try to get the complaints, usually they won't give complaint numbers

        I Did that. I spoke with Airtel customer care many times. Infact from yesterday evening I am continuously speaking with them but no one giving me proper solution and everyone saying different words. None has matching answer :(
        My name is chandra shekher. I have airtel broadband connection[protected].
        I disconnected this connection 5-6 months before .
        The final amount i submitted to the airtel person who came to me at my office.
        He gave me the settlement letter also.

        But after then , every month i am continuously getting the call from airtel customer care for due payment.
        i send also the scan copy of that settlement letter to "Amir.[protected]@airtel.in" on 15-september-2011 as customer care told me.
        But today is 25-November-2011 and i am still getting the calls from airtel.

        The customer care service is also too poor.
        They don't have updates on the ticket because they call me twice or thrice in a day.

        I had a broadband connection of Airtel[protected]. I disconnected that connection. First of all Airtel disconnected that connection after 1-2 months of request when they failed to convince me for continue the connection.

        When the final amount of settlement bill came to me, i tried to submit the payment online. At that time i was not able to do payment due to some problem on their website www.airtel.in , also they send me the message that you can not pay online due to some problem.

        After some time a airtel person guys called me for pending due. I told him to collect from my office. That person came to me on 23rd august 2011 and take away the pending amount. He gave me also the full and final settlement letter. He told me that information will update in 24-72 hours.

        Till then every month airtel persons calling me again and again for pending dues. I send the scanned copy of settlement letter as they told me on email id "Amir.[protected]@airtel.in" on 15th September 2011 and 20th September 2011.

        They didn't do any action on that . They only calling again and again for due payment.

        Again on 25th November 2011 i send the email to nodal officer delhi and "Amir.[protected]@airtel.in" .

        But nothing happens . They are still calling to me.

        They are doing mentally harassment .

        These guys are the biggest cheaters in the industry. they activate a service of nowhere charge you, when you try to deactivate the service they say no service is activated on your number and then when you talk to the customer care they say yes we have deactivated the service. but for the next 15 days you are charged for the service which you don't want and then you try to deactivate the service and you deactivate it but its still there.         I have been cheated by the service provider. I sent a portability message last month.         Dear Sir, I've recharged a 3G pack of 125 recently, which has been newly launched, the problem is that they are not giving me the 3G speed, as they've promised (7.2 mbps for God's sake) not even the normal 3G speed, they are delievering me with 10-19 kbps speed and I'm damn annoyed with this, I've called the customer care a dozen times but all they do is to cut the call in the midway, they've done it twice with my 2 different numbers, I've checked by recharging another number by recharging it with 125 but that one too didn't work, Please do something !
        I did an online recharge of Rs.34 from http://www.airtel.in, there it was written that the recharge was for 75 local mins+ 100 local+national sms, but whenever i try to send any message or make any calls, my main balance account gets credited. I have tried calling airtel customer care three times about this matter, but none are eager to help me.

        Each sim card 300 rupees and for easy number I paid 2000 rupees each.

        we had paid amout to the authorised airtel worker to change prepaid to post paid ...the person never turned up and does not recive the call too...we had infromed and also complained to airtel few time . we have not found any reply still now. its been 3 moths and no reply!
        I started using Airtel postpaid from last 8 months. There is a plan called myplan in which they issue points which we can adjust according to our needs. There&#039;s a option for isd use in which we get 6 isd pulse for one point. I was using that from last eight months and they were charging me for it over and over again and I use to call there costumer care for its wave and they do it everytime. For 8 months this process took place and every time they use to tell me that it&#039;ll not repeats and they apologise for that. Now after eight month after getting frustrated I thought to speak to someone who is senior in that department, he told me that &quot;Sorry sir, this offer was only valid for UK landlines and this should me told by us eight months back and from now onwards you&#039;ll be charged for it.&quot; I&#039;ve used some pulse for this month also and he told me that you&#039;ll be charged for it. Isn&#039;t it a fraud?

        This is to inform you that last i made a 3G data recharge of Rs. 255/- and the data which was given to me was 650MB instead 1GB. when i asked the vendor he told me that he do not know about that. after that i called customer care and he replied that the rates have been changed. but the very next day i received a message from airtel which says 1 Gb in Rs 255.
        i also mail to gopal vittal ceo of airtel but he also didnt responed.


        Please check on this fraud.

          I would like to raise a complaint against Airtel regarding my request for porting out of Vodafone network. My age is 60 years and my Vodafone mobile number is [protected]. I was intending to port off from Vodafone and port into Airtel.
          After the rejection of my first port out I generated PUK on 23.05.13 and submitted duly filled form and documents to Mr. Tapash Pal of Airtel Store, City Centre, Salt Lake City, Kolkata on 24.05.13.
          I again visited him on 01.06.13 and he assured me that the job will be done within 10 days.
          After many paper works and hot talks I came to that my documents were submitted by Mr. Tapash Pal of Airtel Store, City Centre, Salt Lake City, Kolkata on 07.06.13, the last day of validity of my PUK.
          Is this the way how Airtel people harsh a customer. Is this the type of service "BHARATI AIRTEL" is providing and claiming that they are the no. 1 network? I doubt.
          So, I have decided to stay with Vodafone and not to change to Airtel. I request to all the people of India do not port to Airtel.

              I have activated 30 mb internet pack by Bharti Airtel for 5 Rs.whose expiry time is 12:00 midnight. I activate it at 6:29 AM today and I received confirmation message of activation at 6:37 AM. In spite of activation of this scheme my balance was reduced by 45 Rs. immediately for use of few mb internet. Customer care is not responding. Stealing of balance is usual . I wish to get my balance back and check this type of activities.

              Airtel India — internet service

              i had recharge rs.450 for unlimited internet services for one month.it is activated on mobile but when i go for net connect displayed on my mobile screen "packet data connection not available" and "link not available".Many time i have call costumer care every time they say "from here there are no problem". also iried to call nodal officer but every time he recieve and speak "hello" and disconnect call by him.I have lost more then Rs.50 for calling.my mobile no [protected].i think they are cheating costumer.because i hade recharge on dated 30/10/2009 it is for one month it will expire on dated 30/11/2009 i have lost 7 days allready.

                I had subscribed to Airtel Broadband Service along with my friends (Connection is in the name of my friend Rajkumar Chandrasekaran) around 3 months back. Initially we were told that an 8 mbps plan was available in our area (Moggapair West, Chennai) and we paid the Airtel representative a sum of Rs 1850/- (Rs 1350 advance rental for 20 days+Rs 500 installation charges of which Rs 250 would be refunded in the first bill). But afterwards we were told that only 2 mbps plan is available. Hence the extra amount that we have paid would be subtracted from our first month bill. Our service was activated on 16th March 2013 (billing cycle starting from 6th date of every month) with a 20 days billing period for the first month.
                We were shocked to see that our first month's bill amount was Rs 950/-, which meant that no amount had been subtracted. We contacted Airtel customer care regarding this issue through email sent on April 19th 2013. I have attached a screenshot of the mail for reference.
                After a few days of sending the mail, my friend got a call from Airtel that an amount of Rs 1600/- (Rs. 1850 - Rs 250 Installation charges) will be refunded to us through cheque, which they will be sending through courier in 1-2 days.
                It has been a month and a half since we received that call, but no cheque has been delivered to us yet. Repeated calls to customer care have proved to be of no use. We want our refund as soon as possible.

                AirTel / Bharti Broadband — REFUND NOT RECEIVED --3MONTHS

                I have opted for Bharti Broad Band services, the sales guy who visited my place promised me to get it done with-in 2 days.
                On complition of all formalities he revised his commitment and says that the hub is choked it will atleast take 4-5working days.

                I waited alomst for 14 days but all I got was never ending excuses.
                finally I asked for refund of money; and till date all i have from there side is 10-12 days time................ ITS BEING 3 MONTHS NOW.

                I would advise anyone going for bharti/airtel connections please ask concern person to check availability of port first.

                Airtel Broadband — Non Installationa and no refund

                Airtel is getting sicker with its field sales officers making it difficult to trust the brand. I Paid installation amount of 1000 on 6/12/2008 and was told later that the junction box in my area is over loaded so they have applied to the corporation for retrenching and laying a new line... I requested them to refund the money as they are uncertain that how many days it will take to finish the job. One month has passed by and there seems to be no response from them and seems somebody needs a good push to do the job in airtel...

During the month of October 2008 i was asked to pay Rs. 129/- extra for using internet. But to say the truth i am not using internet and i did not use the internet in the month of October. I had already raised this complaint to customer care and i was advised register this complaint. So I kindly request you the look forward in this complaint and reduce the amount of Rs. 129/- within 24 hours possibly.

                AirTel — Extra amount not refunded

                Hi,
                I had a postpaid no from Airetel ([protected]). I disconnected the no 3 months back but I had paid an extra amount of Rs 500 against the no earlier. I was told that the amount will be refunded back to me via checqe but i never got the amount back.
                I had to call Airtel 10 times in the first place to get the no disconnected. They took 1.5 months to disconnect the no and the billing continued till then since i already had paid extra amount. Its more than 2 months after disconnection and i have not recieved the amount back.
                Every customer care executive has a differebt story to tell, their is no coordination, no process. Rs 500 is not a big amount but the amount of frustration it causes the customers to call their customer care and get a work done is terrible.

                Airtel Broadband — Refund not received

                Hi,
                I have paid Rs 800/- for installing Airtel broadband at my home. However, due to shoddy construction work the Airtel guys did in our society, the Society's chairman denied them permission to continue. Since no installation was done, we demanded refund of our advance. However their salesperson Rakesh Gupta is giving vague answers and so far we have not reeceived the refund.

                Pls do not go for Airtel broadband guys.

                AIRTEL/BROADBAND — Refund Not received

                Hi, This is Amit Verma.
                I had applied for an Airtel Broadband Connection on 12th May 2009 from Chandigarh. I gave Rs 850 for the activation of service. I told my proper address to the airtel executives.At that time they said that they will activate the connection within 1-2 days but they take more than one week for this & when they come to my address they said that they have to take PRI lines from very far so it is not possible to give you this connection and the amount will be refunded within 1 month but till now i have not received any refund cheque, so kindly look into the matter.

                AirTel — No refund of excess amount paid

                I have Airtel post paid connection, recently changed the bill plan. Before changing the bill plan i tried online payment for my last due, i got an error then tried again again error. But amount got debitted from my acount twice.

                its happened on 4th sep09, Still i am not able to get that ecess amount reversed back.
                The problem is regarding change in my validity talk plan and Gprs charges.

                On[protected] I recharged by Rs 99 to get 100 mb data usage and before that I recharged by Rs 65 on[protected] to get 50ps min as STD charges.

                The problem arose when I recharged again with Rs 99 on[protected] to get 100 mb back but every thing changed

                My talk plan changed to 1p sec validity changed to 2010 from 2012 and I didn¿t get 100 mb usage also


                I tried to reach customer support on[protected] and they replied that I will get a call by today itself


                i.e.[protected] by 2:30pm and my old plan will be regained but nothing happened like that. And moreover


                I didn¿t received any SMS regarding change in charges of GPRS plan


                This is what not expected from brands like AIRTEL.

                Now What I want is to get my Talk Plan Validity and Internet Usage back ASAP.
                i have already written to nodel and appleat officers mumbai but zero and totallu un professional response i got .

                Issue:
                Movement of broadband services for current address to 443 Windsor Greens, Sector 50 Noida.
                Service request logged on 20th –June,2010, Number3410006. I got an SMS that we will get back to you by 22-Jun-2010 by 10:29 :01

                That day it took 40 minute to log the request. Then no follow up after that.. I called in today and spoke Yashwant and Anwar. I was told that airtel cannot service the new premises. I was asked to cancel the service request from today date and be billed till 8th July.

                I have multiple issues with this:
                1. When I put in the request on June 20 and Airtel doesn’t service my new address why should I pay for the extra 20 days or so
                2. I paid an initial advance of Rs 1500, which I expect would be reimbursed as Airtel doesn’t service the new address.

                According to the resolution provided by AirtelI am totally baffled on various counts:
                1. Pay for services which you couldn’t provide
                2. Why should I have to do multiple follow-ups for your deficiencies when no one last bothered to call me for the last 20 days. I cant help but wonder is the service I pay for or the hassle I bought in the name of Airtel Broadband

                This is Kameswara. I have applied for broadband about 21/2 months back. My application number is CHF 1019231.

                As there was no feasibility at my home to provide the connection, I was told that the connection is not possible and my amount would be refunded in the next 2 weeks.

                This has been happening since 2 months like this. I use to contact them and they reply that it takes 2 weeks again. Every time I send the mail, I just get the same response as below:

                Airtel — Plan changed

                My plan was changed without my permission and after doing so many followups
                with Airtel I still do not land anywhere.
                Tried dropping an email to the Nodal Officer of NCR, and the response I got was unacceptable.
                I am really upset with the service i received in regards of my land line :[protected].
                Some one by the name of "HEMANT" dropped mail to change plan against my number - and Airtel - Willingly did the same. Then they give me a call stating that the plan has been changed. When I told the guy that I never requested for the same - he said "I am not asking - I am informing" and in case I had any issues, I could call Customer Service.

                I have been tracking customer service since then, but no result.
                Its been 5 Years now, since i am using Airtel's services. My mobile phones, DTH and Land line are all Airtel. If this doesn't sort out , I am going to disconnect them all and change the service providers. Also, I shall get better plans to all my friends and get them migrated over to other service providers. I have already told this story to some of my friends who wanted to take airtel's service and am going to do so in the near future as well.

                Here is the Nodal Officer's mail. I thin they didn't even go through the mail properly - Leave inquiring about the situation :

                My internet connection doesn’t seem to work and I keep getting the limited excess message very often. I am shocked and surprise of the broadband services provided by airtel with frequent disconnection of broadband and landline.This is serious pain. I have invested lot of my time, energy and money and just to raise and complaints. It appears you don’t pay any heed. I am paying my money to get the services of internet not to RAISE COMPLAINT WHICH NEVER GET RESOLVED.

                Airtel — Broadband connection denied but amount not Refunded

                Hi,
                This is complaint regarding Airtel. On june 16th,2011 I did payment of INR 800.00 to Airtel for broadband connection at my place. After continuosly following up for 9-10 days, i was finally told that connection can't be provided and my money will be refunded within 7 working days and Airtel customer support will call for same.
                As of now(8-July-2011), its 14 working days passed and no one from Airtel has contacted me. My complaints are:
                - After follwing up for 9-10 days, I was told that conenction is denied. If I would have not followed up, nobody would have care to inform me. This is pathetic customer support provided by Airtel.
                - After disappointment of not getting connection, nobody from Airtel called me up to refund my money.

                Please assist me in getting my money refunded from Cheaters(Airtel) who think they have monopoly over bangalore.

                Today it is the 28th August & still my problem has not been resolved, on the 19th August, I paid Rs 11990 to Vritinfocom online by HDFC credit card, actually I was to pay only Rs 1199 for an Airtel DTH new connection, however it’s a mystery how Rs 11990 got debited from my HDFC credit card.
                The Vritinfocom paying website was given to me by a person supposedly known as Lalith after I contacted the Airtel customer care for a new Connection for my Pondicherry residence.

                On the 22-8-11, a person was sent from their Pondicherry agency for installation & was told that I would be given a customer id soon after installation & the connection would start working within 2 hours, however now more than 24 hours have passed after I have put on the set up box & it is still not functioning.
                On calling the local Pondicherry number who are responsible for installation I was told that they are helpless as they were given an old voucher number which is already being used.
                Since then I have been calling all their customer care & Vrithi mobile numbers but nobody is responding. Infact the moment I mention Vritinficom to the Airtel cc, they immediately disconnent or plead helplessness.
                After I repeatedly complained by email, I am getting calls from various numbers saying that they will resolve my problem but nothing has been done now for 10 days.
                Now I have 2 issues against them.
                1. Excess amount paid has to be refunded.
                2. They have to give the connection.
                Is it an unholy nexus between Airtel & Vritinficom to cheat the gullible public? please help.

                AirTel — Refund not sent

                This is in reference to mobile number [protected]. I have the following concern:
                I had inadvertantly made an extra payment of Rs. 2455 in the month of January and also filed a complaint at 121 regarding that. I was told that my refund can not be processed and i iwll have to get it adjusted against my bill which means i was expected to wait to get the adjustment done for atleast three months, expecting the bill to be atleast Rs800 for each month. After a lot of time wastage on the calls with supervisors and their supervisors, i was told that the check will be sent. I never received the check. I called again in mid Feb and was told that the check was returned to airtel and they will be sending it again. Now it is 17 april and i still dont have money in my account. My bill is 1800 for which my connection has been disconnected.
                I wrote to the nodal officer and was hung up on by some executives and others kept on repeating that I need to give some indemnity bond for the check.
                I have some questions regarding this:
                1. Why was I not told by the first executive that I need to give some bond to get my money? After three months of this ordeal i get this information.
                2. I confirmed to the customer care representative twice that my address is in Chandigarh, but he never asked me to get my address changed from Patiala to Chandigarh. This information was again given to me on 26th Mar.
                3. I am highly disturbed with the conduct of the people i spoke with in your organization. One of the ladies I spoke with 'Rashmi' was very rude and hug up on me. She told me that she doesnt have time to waste on me. Courtesy is a distant thing, they dont even know their jobs. Every person I spoke with gave me different information.
                4. After three months of constant effort to get my money back, I am being blamed for not following the process. Did I not follow the process when i made a call to 121 to register my complaint?
                I have spent atleast 15 hours on phone trying to talk to someone who will get me a resolution and this is what you offer me after three months. I have had this number for a while now and if the records are checked, one can see that I have made all my payments on time. Then why do I have to wait for this long to get my money back?? It was a lax on your part that the check dint reach me. You still have Rs. 2455 in your account which rightfully belongs to me. I would request someone to take care of this as soon as possible.

                  14th dec i put a booster pack 49 its msg booster 6000/month for three month but my first month belance finished on31st jan tht time not update my 2nd month msg belance and my main belance 8rupees detected for my msg... so i inform to customer care excute he askd 24hours time but no update so many times i inform to coustemer care thy wont gave praper rpy and thy band my 198 service also so plz solve my problem...........

                  Airtel — Regarding booster

                  I have put 195 booster in Airtel this month.In this plan,the tariff is for airtel to airtel network it is 10paise and for other networks it is 30paise.But before 4 days i didn't change my plan but they changed my plan of 1paise per 1second.I complained to the airtel customer care thrice .They didn't give any proper response.So do favour for me as soon as possible...

                    Registered several compliants regarding low signal strength and not able to watch TC.

                    I am anish I booked for an airtel DTH on 13-Jan-2011, and also I gave the full amount at the booking time. After 9 days they installed the Airtel DTH. But now they are not enabling the customer id. So we are not able to watch any programs. We contacted the area executives and they are also not responding now.
                    So kindly please take all your belongings (dish and setup box) from our home and return the 1750 amount ASAP. We are not interested to continue with your further service. Frankly this one is the utter waste service that I have ever seen. I am from Chennai, shollinganallur area.

                    We are sifted before 9 Days from Ahmedabad to Surat. We Disconnect our Airtel Digital Connection from Ahmedabad. We apply for Re-Connection in Surat on 4th June '2013 with complain No. 30922945 but No solution from the Company upto 8th June '2013. After I again Complain for same Problem and also mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com, [protected]@in.airtel.com, compliance.[protected]@bharti.in, [protected]@in.airtel.com, [protected]@bharti.in, [protected]@bharti.in (AT top Level). My connection was Re-Installed on 10th June '2013.

                    After Reinstallation of Connection it was shown my Balances go to negative with Error code No. 6 and at that time it is susspended but there are shown my balance is Rs.42.67/-. After this problem i post another complaint for that and up to till time my complaint is not solved. Higher management also not reply for my complaint and also customer care center aslo no proper reply and phone disconnect. My balances are also deducted day to day. i am totally helpless, I want to need your help.

                      Am Shiva with airtel number as [protected] . i have took a postpaid connection of airtel with a security deposit of Rs.500 and later i migrated to postpaid to prepaid connection on feb 7,2013 . As the postpaid bill is adjusted and i have to get the remaining amount and its already completed 4 months but still i not received the refund amount from the airtel .As per the airtel records they told that they have sent the cheque and amount is also withdrawn from the cheque on march 7,2013.                       Bharti Telecom Services / Airtel Postpaid Connection — Telecom provider not refunding deposit

                      had a Airtel Post paid mobile service for about 5 years. Because of poor network connectivity I stopped using the services from airtel. Now they are not refunding the deposit which was paid for STD/ISD calling service. I have even given them the copy of the receipt I have for the same.

                      They promised to pay within 45 days, however it has been 4 over months.

                      AirTel — non refund of cheque

                      my cheque of RS850 HAS NOT BEEN refunded (REC NO 63036)by airtel since long against which i have done payment on 21-01-08.i have not recived my payment till now and i have done no. of complaints in this regads and some of the REF NO ARE 4551258, 4820642, ON 12MAR AND 19MAR respectevly. I WANT MY MONEY BACK WITH INTEREST FOR THIS UNDUE DELAY.
                      i had migrated my pre-paid sim to post paid...they told it will be activated ..but it has not yet ...i am tired of calling customer care ..they told it will be activated in 24 hrs.but 20 days are over ...

                      I have been a customer from 2008, There was a problem with my GPRS Connectivity
                      i lost 80 rs from my mobile a/c by four times. I rang up Airtel Customer Care One of their executive told me that there was a hacker Often using my Mobile A/c without my knowledge with Hacking my A/c.and they said pls stop Connecting Illegal site immediately and Format your Mobile and Memory card due to virus Affect. Then i formatted my Mobile and Memory Card with cost of 200 rs .
                      Then i rang up Airtel Customer Care and said i finished my Format the the Supervisor told me that there was a small info sharing on Customer executive so we ill Refund my Money from 2.55 pm by today, and they said that no need to format your mobile ...even i told about the Format Charges, But they never refund the amount of 200 Rupees.
                      Now i lost my 200 rs,
                      I would like to make complaints on Airtel.

                      This is once case and how many cases are pending with them that they are accumulated blood money of the customers and deliberately they are not ready to pay.

                      This should be enquired thoroughly and ask them to Refund money immly to whom whose refund money are pending with them not for me but all people living in INDIA.

                      I humbly request you to please look into the matter and instruct BHARATI AIRTEL to refund me deposit amount with interest at the earliest.

                      This is to bring your attention that the Airtel, owned by Bharti Airtel Limited sent an sms to my mobile stating that my usage has gone beyond the limit of INR 2292.00. When I called the custome care they said it was a mistake and by default the same message has gone to thousands of people.
                      They are trying to cheat innocent people if they do not understand any technical jargons and with the English. People have lost money and they are not bothered. This is not the first time. May God the customers from the clutches of Airtel.

                      Airtel — Non receipt of Security Deposit Cheque

                      Sir,

                      I have closed my post paid mobile number [protected] in month of March 2011. But till date I have not received the security deposit from AIRTEL. I have been following up right from Call Center, Nodal and appellete on calls and mails. But till now I have not received any positive feedback only I got is the assurance from each executive at each level.

                      I require AIRTEL to be penalised for the delay, mental stress I have gone through due to this follow ups
                      I have closed my 2 cards in month of March'11 whose numbers are [protected] & [protected]. I have received the security deposit cheque for the first number but till date I have not received deposit check for the later number.

                      Each time I have to call up the Appellate desk for the solution and all revert the same that the "Address is short". I dont understand, the cheque of earlier number has been received on time on the same address then why is the 2nd cheque could not reach us. Even I have offer the appellate executive (Spoken with Shampy, Aman, Dikshita, Ruchika) that if you want I would go to nearby gallery to my place or work to get the cheque. Me been a customer is cooperating but you been Service Provider cannot provide a proper SERVICE.

                      It has already passed 6 months now that I am following for the cheque. As per TRAI, the maximum tenure to send back the security cheque is max 60 days, any delay in this needs to be penalized to the Service Provider.

                      Please let me know your futher course of action ASAP and now settle all the dues

                        I am using Nokia Lumia 820, with airtel prepaid. Recently I am facing regular deduction of amount from my main account regularly. I have tried by calling customer care and they said they won't return amount more than thrice for similar reason. I have been maintaining 2G and 3G balance. However, I am getting message as "thank you for downloading mp3full song. You have been deducted xxxx amt". This is fifth time I am losing my balance and and last two times I am not getting returns. This is not fair especially from airtel who is top telecom service provider of India.

                        I am shashikant. I am from yamuna nagar(Haryana). I am an Airtel prepaid Customer. Airtel had deducted Rs. 10/- from the main balance of my no. [protected] today (16/07/2010) for TADKA LIVE service, but I don’t have subscribed for this service. Airtel had started this service without my permission and deducted my balance Rs.10/- today at 1:30:00pm.

                        Two months ago, Airtel had deducted Rs.30, and that time they returned the balance by the help of Indian Consumer Complaints Forum.

                        I have also complained to Customer care, my complained no. is 216748.

                          Respected Sir/Madam,

                          We, Bhavna R ,Manisha B and Danisha S, foreign students in University of Mysore, would like to bring to your kind attention some of the problems encountered with the Airtel Company in Mysore. Since the very beginning they have been disappointing us with their poor service and lack of professionalism. We subscribed for a Broadband Internet Connection with the plan of 10 GB (2MBps/256kbps) in August 2012. Throughout, the speed was not as good as promised and we kept facing connectivity problems all the time.
                          We have shifted to a new place and before that we had applied for cancellation of the Internet Service on 03.04.2013. We were told that the cancellation would be done within 9 days, that is by 11.04.2013 and that the security deposit of Rs 3000 would be refunded to us within 45days. (Reference number for request:[protected].

                          But to our further disappointment, they kept calling us to ask if the connection was ok and they literally pestered us to keep the connection. In spite of our firm decision to cancel it, they did not effectuate the cancellation at that time and we got one more bill for no reason as we were not even living in that house and therefore did not avail to their service. They even gave the excuse that we asked for reconnection when we had already shifted from there. It would be anyway clear in their data usage record that after the cancellation request that no one used their service.

                          Furthermore, they kept troubling us with their phone calls and each time we had to say that a request was already filed for cancellation and on each phone call they would file a new one. It was very annoying each time for us to repeat the same story to them. (Further cancellation request numbers: 31351428;[protected]
                          Moreover, we would like to inform you that the Airtel Company provides different plans for almost the same price. We got to know about this from our friends who were also using Airtel Broadband. For almost similar prices they were getting a much better package with higher speed and better usage allowance. This is why we found their service very unfair and unprofessional.
                          Eventually, we are still waiting for the refund of our security deposit after deduction of the real pending amount (i.e for the time period we used their services) and we hope to get it as soon as possible. We have already been waiting for so long and that is why we could not resist from filing a complaint here.
                          We hope that our request will be given due consideration and the amount will be refunded soon. We look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

                          Airtel — No Refund on Airtel Broadband Connection Deposit

                          I am Mohammed Imran ( Mobile # [protected] ), resident of Medavakkam, Chennai for the past two years.

                          Five months ago, in interest of subscribing a broadband service from Airtel, I contacted Mr. Rahman ( Mobile # [protected]), a sales executive from Airtel Ltd, T.Nagar Branch, Chennai . Upon conducting initial connection feasibility check in our area along with Mr. Muthu Karuppan , (Manager of Mr. Rahman) on 20th March, 2010, they agreed to provide service. Out of the offers explained by them, I opted for the " ADVANCE RENTAL " scheme ( Scheme Code: 3011 ) and they collected Rs. 4500 /- towards advance rental for 6
                          months which includes zero installation charge.

                          On the payment, I am provided with subscibers enrollment form towards the payment and was informed that connection and activation would be done within a week.

                          After waiting for one week, I found that no action was taken from them to provide the connection. On continuous followups and calls for next few days after that , I have been told by Mr. Rahman that it is impossible for Airtel providing connection, since they have to dig the road to pull the cable to my home from other side of the road which costs more for them and denied to provide service as promised.

                          I was SHOCKED to hear this, as he along with his manager personally came to my home for investigation and confirmed the feasibility of connection.

                          Since I had no other way, I accepted for money refund and received Rs 3000/- on 06th April, 2010 on agreement to the fact that the remaining sum of Rs 1500/- would be returned back to me on another one week of time.

                          Again as usual, there was no updates from Mr. Rahman, and in order to get the remaining money, I did frequent followups with him. And most of the time me call was not picked/answered by him.

                          All of a sudden, one day, Mr. Rahman came back to me saying that " Airtel as corporate should not want to discourage the customers. So we are ready to provide connection to you which helps us to get further more connections from your area " and he asked me whether still I would like to go for connection. I accepted to this offer by putting up a deadline of 07th May, 2010 for him to provide connection and if he fails to provide it in the stipulated time, he should repay the outstanding Rs.1500/- to me.

                          Thats all, Mr. Rahman on behalf of Airtel, neither provided connection till now and nor refunded remaining amount.

                          Whenever, I call him to get the status, he never picks up the call and even if he picks up, he replies irresponsibly saying that he is out of office and can tell me the status only after checking in the system.

                          I am really tired and fed up with following up with these guys for obtaining a broadband connection. After this much struggle, I stand here as loser spending my money, time and peace.

                          Can you please understand the plea of this suffered customer and would try to arrange me for necessary compensation.

But today again i came to know that my number still is not cancelled and i get a new cancellation number. The customer service is pathetic and it takes 30 mts on an average to look into the details and complete the call. Hope they cancel the connection and charge me till 21st April.

                          i was told on 14th september , by your customer care representative that there are no charges for changing our number.                             I am holding airtel prepaid cell no [protected] since long time. Above cell no has charged with Rs 999=00 for life time validity very long back.After charging with Rs 999=00 if recharged for any amount, Iuse to get full talk time of recharged amount. On 10th of november I rechrged my cell with Rs 210=00 , but I got talk time only Rs50=00. Why sudden change in the recharged amount.I kindly request look into matter.

                            Let me bring to your notice that i am regualr user of your service(airtel, Mb. No.-[protected]), I Made a recharge of Rs 110 on 19th Oct 2008. I got Rs 10 as talk time and one year validity and remaining Rs 88 was not credited to my account witing 48 hours . Now already 6 days are over and no response was observed from your end. I repeatedly complained regarding the same to your office .do the needful as early as possible. credit my Rs 88 to my account.

                            I am using Airtel prepaid no. [protected] since july, 2008. I have never gone through special kinds of schemes or offers as i was not in need.
                            First time in this month i thought to go through a scheme and i was cheated blindly.
                            I recieved a msg from Airtel saying to recharge my no. by 19 rs to reduce call rates to 30/p for a month
                            It was activated for a day and after then it was gone.
                            I called Customer Care thrice and no one gave me a positive response and they disconnected my call thrice and now i cannot even connect my call to Airtel CCE.
                            It is not the matter of 19/rs.Matter is how they are fooling and the kind of service that Airtel is providing.
                            They have n no. of excuses to escape from there things...
                            I know that most of the people would not be aware about the services Airtel is providing and fooling customers so I will be taking out this complaint in newspaper (HT) on sunday.
                            Plz read and make other people aware too.

                            i received a message from airtel as stated below:-
                            Now on RC 42 get Rs. 38 talktime (extra Rs. 28 in 48 hrs). All incoming calls & calls to airtel in roaming @60p/min, others @80p/min. Call local @40p/min, STD 50p/min. Validity 3 years.

                            but i got only Rs. 38 (Rs. 10 on spot and Rs. 28) and but i still haven't got extra Rs. 28 till today.
                            When i called to customer care, they told me that on this recharge only Rs. 38 would be given. They are playing with the language to fool the public. Also they told me that in the message at the last Rs. 10 at the spot is also return but it is not written in the message i have received.

                            But my DTH a/c is still showing old balance ,1400 Rs. have not been added to my DTH Account .

                            In above reference i got the airtel digital TV installed on 3/05/2010 under package scheme of Rs 160/month but I am really sorry to mention that every time the package period recedes by 10 days and the message flashes on TV to make the payments every month 10 days in advance.

                            kindly review the case and let me know as the package for Rs 160/- is for one month then why the message flashes on TV 10 days prior to the given date and finally the display stopped. As per terms and condition the subscription paid is for full one month that is for 30 days then why this is happening. i.e to say why every month 10 days are substracted and display is discontinue

                                Dear concerned person,

                                I want to lodge a complaint against bharti Airtel. I am a valued postpaid
                                Customer of airtel. When I call to customer care executive regarding some issue, they take
                                unusual time to pick the call. And on top of it as soon as they pick the call, intentionally it is disconnected just after hearing one or two words from me as if they are told to do so. It happens each time I call them. What kind of service airtel is providing. I will switch to some other customer oriented
                                Provider if this continues. Enough of it.

                                I have been receiving massages from 290603 (Subject Love tips) since last 3 months and immediately I am receiving debit of Rs 3 for every massage. I am not aware why such massages are sent to me with cost.                                 Bharti Airtel Limited — Charging Customer for calling to Customer care

                                I have been a customer to airtel since 4 years, today when i called up the customer care i am informed that i will be charged Rs 0.5 / 3 minutes when i call to Customer Care and there is a new TRAI Regulation on this. This shows that a consumer do noit have right to get services also. He does not have right to complain to the service provider.

                                I request TRAI withdraw the regulation or change the name from "Customer Care" to "Provider Care" or "Customer Curse".

                                No other country in the world is following these types of economist policies.

                                KUDOS TRAI..... Bad luck Customers.
                                There is not the right approach by Airtel. I had given a cancellation notice on connection and called the call centre. They gave reference number but now they have come up saying that they do not have any reference number. They are also charging 30 Ps/ 3 Mins when we called them.

                                Their reply is also pathetic in this website and not answering the questions but beating around the bush. Very Bad customer care

                                Dear Sir/Madam,
                                I am using Airtel Broadband services since last three years. I am really tired of Airtel's service.
                                In my apartment, we have three broadband connections. In January / February 2010 while doing major telephone related wiring repair in our society, Airtel engineer/wireman interchanged my broadband connection[protected] with my friend’s connection[protected]. I complained about this, but they never resolve this issue.
                                Since last two months I am facing frequent internet disconnection problem. I daily have to fight with internet connection after coming back from office. I pay monthly charges of Rs. 992 per month. Rs. 992 does not have any value? For me it is huge amount, but for Airtel it does not have any values, because they have huge number of customer.
                                I have done four complaints to Airtel customer service regarding this issue in last four month. I have reference numbers for two latest complaints.
                                Each time I called them and ask them about what happened to my last request they said status of your request is “Resolved”. How come this request has been resolve at Airtel’s end without even asking me?
                                Service request no. 32750388. Request made on date 16 May 2010 regarding frequent disconnection from Airtel. One Airtel executive visited me. He concluded that modem I am using is not working and said that “I am now running out of modem, I will be back within a day or two and will replace your modem”.
                                Nothing happened.
                                I called two days before on 13th June 2010 and ask about previous request i.e. Service request no. 32750388. Airtel said status of this complain is “Resolved” at their end and they raised a new complaint. Service request no. 33811936. Yesterday I received a call from Airtel about engineer’s visit. He promised me to call at evening. He did not, so I called him after coming back from office at night. HE guided me something on phone and made connection temporarily work.
                                Again today after coming back from office, situation is same. Internet is not working. Again I called fifth time to Airtel. They said request which I had raised two days before (Service request no.[protected] is resolved at their end. How Airtel can resolve complaints at their end without even asking to customers?
                                Telephone line with this connections in my house all are have permanent disturbance.
                                Is this the level of service expected for one of the largest telecom player in India? Or as government does not have control on this people, so they are doing and exploiting Indian customer in the way they want? How long Indian customers have to suffer?
                                It’s just frustrating, ridiculous, like Airtel is having fun with customers.
                                Please help/guide me.

                                a call from costomer care on 20 th march 2010 at 12:50 Pm, that mean was if i rechahe my mob no. with 55 Rs.
                                right now, then get 45 Rs. and within 48 hrs i will recieve remaining 5 Rs and my call rate will be 50/min for all

                                But after 48hrs i dont have receive any money or teriff for reduce call rate. When i call to costomer care on 22

                                  Airtel charged extra for internet usage for my mobile no. [protected] and failed to resolve the issue despite several attempts via email, phone call to customer care and airtel relationship centre. Instead of solving the issue, there was extra charges charged in 3 consecutive bills and even they barred incoming and outgoing calls on my postpaid no. which i was using for official purpose. The extra charges was regarding internet usage on 3 G where they charged more than actual usage. I sent the 3G use sms on mail to show tht usage was less than shown in bill but it was not rectified. In next bill they charged me extra again despite me taking Rs. 80 top up of 3G. Now they are threatening me of legal action.

                                  Without my permission Airtel FM service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.30.00 from last 4 months. While calling for this complain diffrent answers are given by different executives. Out of my total bill 40% are the charges which are charged for different services.

Despite several attempts one is not able to speak to customer care and if you do get thru they are not able to help at all. I requested to the customer care executive to deactivate my IR around 21 st July and sent an sms also to 121 to this effect but it is still active and when I sms to deactivate it I receive a message saying this service is not available on Prepaid mobiles currently. My connection has always been postpaid. Suddenly I get to know it may be registered as a prepaid. Signal is so weak that I am not able to use it properly and I had to use other service providers' services. Bill plan activated is 444 with 444 minutes of local and std mobile calls free but bill says only 75 minutes of local mobile calls free. Will somebody take notice and will somebody take care and help the consumers?

                                  Bharti Airtel — No rectification of extra charges levied

                                  I am Susmita Chakraborty. I was holding a bharti Airtel connection with number [protected] for the period of August 2006 - March 2008. I was holding the 1100 advance rental plan. When I renewed the plan on January 2008, they charged me with the advance rent of 1100 for that month. The next month they came up with an extra 1200/- added in the bill. When repeatedly enquired they claimed that the money is charged as the bill of January 2007(one year back !!!) as they had updated the system after one year and they discovered thta I had not paid the sum one year back.

                                  This is really rediculous as I always pay the bill on time. And it sounds illogical also that they did not charge me for any usage on the very same month, but after 1 year !!!

                                  I had asked for a adjustment of the amount, but it was not done. So, I did not pay for the extra sum and left the connection after paying the usage of that month.

                                  Now they are telling me that they are taking legal action against me for not paying the bill of 1200/- ...but I think I need to take some action against them for all this harassment.

                                  I have been having problems with airtel mobile voice quality, i can't hear the person at the other end when i make a call & i hear only distortion noice but not the voice at the other end and the same happens when the other person calls me.. this was happening for last 3 months and once in a while i use to get through.. and all the other times though the call was completed i had to keep shouting hello heloo.. & hang up in vein.. irrespective of the place, city i was, as i spend my weekends in chennai as my wife has delivered a baby recently.. & you know how important it is to stay connected at these times.. in the beginning i assumed it was my phone problem i switched 3 new phones same problem 2 nokia & 1 samsung it didnt help later i got a new sim, that didnt solve the problem too, thats when i guessed its problem from airtel.. and on october 15th i raised this complaint #18808828
                                  No resolution has been provided till date, its been more than 2 weeks, though the turn around time was 2days, only a compensation of 300rs discount by the manager sarla, was done that too it would reflect in my next month's bill it seems.. hopefully, i hav no clue of whats happening at the airtel end.. however the calls get charged for which i havent made use of.. & every incoming call.. i end up calling them back.. from my landline.. which is again airtel.. thus i'm in soup were.. i'm getting no resolution from airtel.. & simply paying for wat i havent used.. no wonder bharti ceo's all over media talking about the huge quarterly profits he has made.. this is how ter buisness model works.. jus milk the customers who fall in airtel loop.. somebody save indian consumers.. who are taken fr ride even by big players like airtel

                                  i have a prepaid lifetime connection of airtel from many years. today i went to airtal showroom at sahara mall mg road gurgaon, the office was closed and there was nobody there. airtel has installed a automated billing machine there, i deposited rs. 200/ to get top up in my phone, and i recieved only rs. 103/ talk time . WHY . I then called at customer care at 8.30pm [ although it is very very difficult to get an executive on 121]AND MOREOVER AS OTHERS SAY CUSTOMER CARE IS A BIG WASTE OF TIME] i had similar experiense .
                                  I talked ot one officer named MR. ASHVANI [ NOT GOT SATISFIED ] HE TRANSFERED ME TO MR PIYUESH. who had no manners, doesnt know how to deal with customer, his RUDE behaviour as if i was asking him for money from his pocket . any ways he angin transfered my call to his senior MR. SACHIN, you know what both of them told me that had i recharged for rs. 198/, i would have got talktime for rs 180 / or something like tha . and since i paid rs.200/ i got rs.103 / -----what is this policy -- he told me tha this is immetrial weather you are lifetime or a regular customer.
                                  sir being a lifetime connection clint why should one pay rs.97 / as service charge and tax.
                                  THERE IS NO BOBY TO LISTEN TO CUSTOMER IN AIR TEL .--------AND THIS PRACTICE OF MINTING MONEY IS ABSURD.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  From around the mid of Nov 2008, my wife and I realized we were not able to make calls to each other. We thought it was a normal network issue, but on 8th of Dec 08, I raised the complaint with Airtel Customer Care facility on phone. We hold a plan where in we are given 600 minutes of mobile to mobile local calls free. Out of this, we use the major chunk between the two o[censored]s.
                                  After 8th of Dec, I had make hundreds of calls to Customer Care with no reply from them, even they did not call me back whenever they promised. They created new complaint every time I called them, deleitng the old complaint to reduce the life of the complaint. Meanwhile, the calls problem continued, with occasional success during late night and early morning hours.
                                  I can share the e-mails exchanged between them and me which can prove that the blocking was a deliberate fraud and not a technical problem.
                                  They unblocked one side in late Decemebr even till Sunday 11th of Jan, my wife is not able to make calls during important hours of the day. I am not using the number since Monday 12th Jan 2009.

                                  Airtel - Mobile Service — harrassment of customer

                                  i have chased airtel for the last one and half months for transfer of the above mentioned corporate mobile# as a personal number to my name as i left the corporate-organisation .
                                  i was asked to submit following documents to any airtel outlet and i submitted in mid march 2009:
                                  1. transfer form
                                  2. hand written application request from my side
                                  3. NOC from Spicejet Ltd.
                                  4. Copy of PAN Card
                                  5. Copy of Driving Licence ( photo ID)

                                  10 days later i c alled to check and they told me nothing is receicved at their end and i got furious and wrote a complaint to [protected]@airtel.in - very serious letter i wrote to them and within 48 hrs i got 3 calls from three different offices of airtel confirming everything is now recvd and transfer has happened and the profusely apologised for the inconvenience .

                                  today on 21 april my outgoing call facility is barred as they once again say my documents are not submitted. i have written a complaint again to them ...i am conitnuing to pay rental on a post-paid mobile which as and when the airtel wants barrs service facilities for no reason ...they have a huge confusion within their organisation and for any internal problem hold the customer at randsom .
                                  it has been almost 2 months and still trying to get a basic service from airtel for which i pay for .

                                  1. waive of 2 months rental -due to harrassment and facilities stopped on my mobile for no reason

                                  Airtel Postpaid Mobile — Not closing my number

                                  I have made a request on 3rd of Aug 2009 to close my airtel postpaid no-[protected](Bangalore reference no[protected] saying that we will proceed till 13th of Aug).Then I got 6-7 call from airtel with so many plans then I agreed to change number within 24 hours automatically after sending sums to 222, i did the same on 6th Aug but did not get any response. I between I gave a lot of call to customer care and got reply that your no is suspended & will be closed on till 13th of August.

                                  On 13th Aug I gave a call to airtel customer care then they told that we will confirm you by 25th of Aegis told them send me the outstanding full & final bill I will pay immediately but they are not doing the same.

                                  Today on 14th Aug I again gave a call to airtel customer care to provide me outstanding bill till 5PM today after closing my no else I won’t pay they replied that they can’t proceed before 25th of Aug with reference no-F[protected]. Due to my personal issue I want to close the number after paying my remaining amount but I got mentally disturbed by airtel postpaid people.

                                  I was subscribed to hello tune service. I have selected one kannada song. But some times callers are getting randomly some dialogues of hindi movie. I have lodged complaint against it for 2 times. They told,it will be corrected in 2 days. But still that pb was there. Then I unsubscribed to that service.

                                  I have paid all due amount before given the request to disconnect the connection in june 2008. Airtel also given me some request no. but now is time gone about 18Months. I thinks no matter will be in future. But you have given Rs.557 bill to ICICI bank for pay the amount. While payment was clearing by auto credit card option so why you do too late for any extra amount is remaining to me. I paid all amount but you extra charges. i was not using the no [protected] from june 14th 2008. for cut of connection i given the request to airtel but they did not cut the connection imediately and after long time (18 Months) you given the bill to my bank credit card acount (ICICI bank).

                                  Please clerify me why you have not the connection as soon as possible and why these money Rs.557 you charges and so lete you have given this bill to my credit card bank. after 18 months.

                                  I Sameer Patil was a regular user of Airtel No.[protected] in the name of Automotive Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd. Nashik. The said company switched over their plan from Airtel To Vadafone in the month of May 2009. After that I individually applied for the new connection with the same no. but got a perly that the connection cannot be given unless a NOC is obtained from the previous user or 2 months of time needs to be given to issue the same no. Sir here I would like to inform you that inspite of consistant followup with the TSm and the regional head there has not been any response from any of the company official as yet. So you are kindly requested to look into the matter and help me in getting the desired phone no.

                                  I have taken connection under plan-199Onam Special CUG.
                                  Under this scheme you offered the plan bill charges is Rs.199 only.But from January 2009 onwards in my Bill it is seen that an amount of Rs.49/- is charged under "Any STD @Rs.1/-Minute for Rs.49/- In total it is seen that my bill charges is Rs,248/-
                                  I am to inform that I have not requested any facility under "Any STD @Rs.1/MinuteFor Rs.49/-'' in this connection.
                                  Hence I request you to stop charging the additional amount in my bill under "Any STD @Rs.1/Minutefor Rs 49/-"and to refund /adjust the excess amount charged from me without my permission from 1/09 onwards at the earliest.

                                  This number [protected] was supposed to be cancelled one month back as per my request to Airtel but it was never done. I have been hearing stories from the customer service saying that it would be done within 7 days which never happened. No one told me that the bill is due on this number which i would have paid as i have always done for the past 3 years. Upon that some people from airtel start calling numbers from the bill and disturb my friends for the bill amount. My question is why was the request not processed as promised? Why would airtel call people from the bill and unnecessarily Harass them? I need an explanation to this and need the number to be cancelled ASAP.

I didnt see any incoming or missed from airtel. They are liyng openly whenever I call them. I am completly pissed of with the provider. I am not sure what does it mean when they say "Sir!! just 24 hrs, your issue will be resolved".

                                  AirTel — Extra charge for no reason

                                  My Name is Ashiesh aryan, airtel mobile service user. I've been using airtel services for almost more than 8 years now. I'm in Delhi & I use my airtel network for most of my business purposes & official calls.
                                  But I'm afraid to recharge my prepaid card for more than Rs. 50, because whenever I recharge, mu balance is deducted for one or the other services, though I never activate any service apart from incoming & outgoing.
                                  I've called the Customer Care a number of times, but THE CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE OF AIRTEL IS PATHETIC, ESPECIALLY THAT OF DELHI. I'm frustrated the kind of representative they hire. Let alone English language, they dont even know correct hindi. Anju, Vaibhav & their supervisor are the one whom I had a word with.
                                  Airtel has refunded my money earlier, but I cant keep them calling to refund my money & explain them the whole stuff again n again. Its is a chargable call to the Airtel CC, but ITS NOT WORTH AT ALL.

                                  Airtel Postpaid Mobile — Closure of Connection Not Properly Handled by Airtel

                                  I have canceled my connection on Feb 26'th, 2011 (Service Request No:[protected]
                                  by paying full outstanding dues. In fact I have called the customer service to
                                  block my SIM card on Feb 25'th, 2011 itself. I was told by the local airtel
                                  store rep that I will get one final bill which will have rental charged until
                                  Feb 26'th, 2011.

                                  On March I received a bill will full charges Mar 4'th, 2011. I wrote an email
                                  to [protected]@airtel.in for which they said they will enquire why the connection was
                                  not called. After that there was no response and again on Apr 4'th, 2011 I
                                  received one more bill for another set of charges.

                                  I again wrote to 121 and I got a response that my mobile is cancelled on April
                                  14'th, 2011 and also there are outgoing calls after until which the rental was
                                  charged.

                                  First of all, when I blocked my SIM on Feb 25'th, 2011 how can there be any
                                  outgoing calls? After that I cancelled my connection on Feb 26'th, 2011
                                  (Service Request No:[protected] for which I guess there was a glitch in Airtel
                                  which failed to cancel my connection.

                                  There is no proper response from Customer Service or Nodal Office detailing what happened to
                                  the Service Request for cancellation. All I am liable is for rental charges
                                  until Feb 26'th, 2011. Now I am getting a Legal Notice from Vijay Associates to pay the balance of 1047 which is more than what I am supposed to pay.

                                  In my past communication I have asked several times on what happened to the status of SR No. 36065472 for which there is no proper response. I am getting improper responses like I continued to use the line, I have agreed to continue etc.,
                                  i have replied to your email [protected]@in.airtel.com with my contact number details. Please let me know if you havent received it yet

                                    I bought 3 Postpaid Mobile Connections from Airtel (2 Solitaire 1099 and 1 Solitaire 1599 Plan).

                                    After first month bill, I requested Airtel to downgrade to Solitaire 999 Plan on ALL 3 mobiles.

                                    Airtel Appellate emailed me saying that it is NOT APPLICABLE to my mobiles.

                                    FYI, Solitaire 1099 does not cover Landline calls in free 4000 minutes. And my Solitaire 999 provides 2500 minutes free which cover all calls (landline, mobile, std).

                                    I paid almost 650 extra due to landline calls on my 2 mobiles with Solitaire 1099 plan. And almost 800 extra for Solitaire 1599 because my usage will never exceed 2500 minutes (as provided in Solitaire 999 plan).

                                    So every month almost I will pay 1500 extra to Airtel (18000 per year) just because Airtel refuses to downgrade to Solitaire 999 Plan.

                                    When I took these connections from Airtel shop, the executives CLEARLY TOLD me that I can change to any plan of my choice later on if I find that usage is lesser or there is a better plan available.

                                    After I made this request, I got confirmation in SMS from Airtel that my plan will be changed to Solitaire 999 on ALL my mobiles. Yesterday afternoon I got a call from an Airtel executive CONFIRMING that my plans have been changed and they will get activated in 3-4 hours.

                                    Today I got an email from Appellate (which is the last level of grievance) saying that plans will NOT be changed because Solitaire 999 is NOT applicable.
                                    FYI, Solitaire 999 is meant for Delhi / NCR and in terms and conditions also it is not mentioned that existing customers cannot opt for this plan.

                                    Airtel as an organization is so weak and poorly managed that different teams, different people are making different commitments. As a customer what do I do ? Please provide any suggestions if you are reading this.

                                    Airtel Postpaid Services — Barring the outgoing call without doing correct Address verification and creating trouble for service

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    Recently I took two post paid Airtel connection.
                                    For that Airtel will be doing address verification.
                                    After activation of these connection, Airtel sent me SMS telling all outgoing calls will barred because of address verification failure.
                                    I didn't receive any pre-call from Airtel address verification services cell regarding this.
                                    Because of work pressure I mostly leaving early and going late to home.
                                    This sudden mobile connection deactivation I am facing lot of problem.
                                    Please take appropriate action on them.

                                    Airtel — Fraud on postpaid scheme

                                    I want to log a complaint of FRAUD for two cell # [protected] & [protected].

                                    I had rcvd phone call from airtel # [protected] (guy names Adnan from Vashi) offering me Airtel post-paid scheme on 19/03/2010. On 21/03/2010 their boy (same name Adnan cell # [protected]) came & collected my documents as well as Rs.500/- as security deposite.
                                    But till today this post-paid connection is not activated on my number. Also when I as trying to contact both these guys they are not contactable.
                                    every time when I call on [protected] manier times they do not accept my calls even when they accept they use abbusive words & bang the phones down.
                                    [protected] - always comes swithed off...
                                    i think last year in 2008 one of airtel office caught on fire at andheri and they lost all record data base due to which they the are doing this

                                    Airtel — Deficient Service and Fraud

                                    This is my third worst experience with Airtel Digital TV Mumbai Lower Parel Customer Care Department.
                                    For Customer ID - [protected] in name of Mr Ankur Goyal.
                                    On 27th Aug 2011 We placed a request for change of Ph no and Address of Mumbai as the person shifted to Mumbai and asked the executive to take request for installation in mumbai at given address - The address or no was changed not changed and on 29th we received a call from Delhi team that they are near my old address in Delhi to install the equipment what a idiocity and service.
                                    On 29th I again placed a request for Installation in Mumbai with ticket no 11439853 and I was given time of 9.00 AM on 1st Sep 2011, where in I stopped al other schedules of mine and stayed back and waiting for the person to visit till the time I am writing this mail.
                                    Morever local mobile contact [protected] given to me as well SMS me is always switched off.
                                    Poor customer support continues, even after making 10s of call on 1st Sep 2011 and repeated follow ups with customer care and supervisords and repeated assurances no thing has been resolved and the worst part is no body is replying back or responding.
                                    Above all it seems that your employees are totally irresponisble and fraud, Mr. Manoj who is responsible for reinstallation in Mumbai Mahim-Matunga area talked yesterday and promised he will revert back with date and time for reinstallation. Till this time I have not recived his call even when I called him on no given[protected] he put the call on hold and did not responded.
                                    This is the worst experience with Airtel and I have decided not to avail any product or reomend any body Airtel in future

                                      I recharged my number from www.airtel.in with Rs.250, on the website it is mentioned that on 250 ill get a talktime of 250 but i received 219.50.
                                      When i called the customer care, they are denying that there is no such full talktime recharge.
                                      Even today this full talktime recharge is being displayed on the website.
