I have been having problems related to Airtel's monthly data usage. My monthly data usage has considerably increased in a short period without any change in my internet surfing habits. There has been a huge amount of data theft or loss even with the computer and/or the router being switched off.
And I've noticed this huge jump in data usage from the month after the Airtel Smartbytes Service was launched.

My average monthly data usage was less than 10 GB initially. After airtel launched its smartbytes service, my data limit went dry on the 20th of every month (monthly billing cycle 5th of every month). Whereas, my monthly internet usage remained the same.

I later upgrade to a 30 GB plan, which worked fine for about 2 months, post that, the same problem.
I then decided to upgrade to an 80 GB plan, which again worked fine for just a month, however, I've started facing the same problem again. And the data limit would go dry just within just 15-20 days. And all this data usage/theft, without my internet surfing habits being changed. I mean, how can I go from a 10GB monthly data usage to 80 GB, with same internet surfing, and still its falling short every month.

Apparently, I'm not the only one having these problems and after reading the above comments, I'm convinced that airtel's system is rigged on purpose or whatever. In a way, we're being forced to buy smartbytes and the customer service, as usual, is of no help in this regard.

Please bring this matter to light and someone help resolve this.

Data Theft — Data Loss / Theft

Hi,

I'm working in a IT Infrastructure Management company, where my job is to meet my customers regularly to know how our team is working with them, and driving quality initiatives to improve the customer satisfaction. In this kind of profile, there are lot of confidential data that our client share with me. As the profile demand, i work on my office laptop and store all this data into it.

More over in my laptop I also store my personal data(like my back account details, investment details, scan documents etc etc). All this data is very important. To protect the data, I need to take the regular backup of all such (personal + client side) data on my Personal External Hard Drive regularly.

Few days back, I was given a new client at different location. Initially, I was staying with one of the Program Manager for that site. On the day i moved out from his house, i found that my Personal Hard Disk Drive having all this data is been stolen. I asked couple of time to that Program Manager about my Hard disk, but he just have to say "No".

I'm in great loss if I do not get this External Hard Disk, as all my 4 years of official data along with my personal data (bank details, investement details, scann copy of my certificates etc etc ) will be in wrong hands. At the same time, I cann't just pin point this Program Manager on stealing HDD. (i do not want to spoil the pear relation by blaming for this loss)

Please help me. What should I do? Can I log a police complain on this? If yes, under what section and what clause? (I have never faced such situation before; thus little panic also). Moreover i do not have the s/number, make / model of that hard drive. (it was an assembled External HDD, used only for the data storage).

    the airtel relationship centre in mahadevpura (near bimal maruti showroom) denies the existence of prepaid nano sim card, the other relationship centre in rajajinagar (near diacon hospital) refuses to give nano sim saying many customers have nano sim activation problems
    the customer service representatives
    - 1st person says nano sim is available
    - 2nd person says i have to go to their main show room in bannergatta and cuts the call
    - 3rd person says there is no activation problems and to visit nearest relationship centre, on insisting that i am in the relationship centre in rajajinagar finally ackowledges to register a complaint and says i will get response in 24hrs

    eagerly waiting for the response

    its utter nonsense airtel for me being with you for over 7 years now and this the customer support you are providing.

    see i have taken a nano sim[protected]h-2 in airtel relationship center and asked him to activate the same number on this new sim but he cant do and said may be there is problem in sim and asked to change and when i got the other sim and told him to activate it he says that its not activating and he had sent some mail to someone and it'll activated on monday 15-7-13 but it dint as i had called him on his own number he dint even answered it.is this is the way you treat your costomers?and more over why dont my sim activates what is the problem?i had bought a new iphone 5 which only works for nano sim shall i just see its face and enjoy?

        Hi,

        I already registered a complaint on April 25 2013, Regarding the bill plan and security money.
        A executive contact me from this number [protected] and assured me that i had change your plan and credit security money.
        As of now when i received my bill:-
        It doesn't show any security money in my account.
        Neither the CUG was activated on my number with my existing numbers and bill amount is unexpectedly very high.

        Hi,
        1.I called to Airtel Toll Free No. [protected] and ask for new postpaid plans and on the same day I recieved call from airtel angent ANJALI and she told me a plan and ask 250 rupees as security money per number and also told that it is refundable,the details and name of plan are:
        SUPER SAVER 199 CUG PLAN
        600 LOCAL/STD MINS.
        300 LOCAL/STD SMS.
        FREE CUG WITH IN GROUP.
        2.I agree with anjali and she sent their executive Prakash to my address and take 1250 rupees from me.
        3.on one my number a different plan is activated by the anjali and then she says it was activated by airtel team not by me so you need to talk with 121.
        4.when i call to Anjali she is not answer my call and when spoke with airtel customer care executive they are also not co-operated with me,they only says mails us but on mail i didn't find any satisfactory answer from them.
        5.they cheated me and airtel still not take any serious action against Anjali.
        6.CCE also not going to change my plan even I called so many times

          many times we called to airtel customer support they tell different - different tricks to solve problem, but from many many weeks unable to speak with customer care. we never seen very bad support before like this.
          but we like docomo customer care. we never fail to speak with tata docomo.

          but your support like indian govt.
          because of this reason you charged 35rs for hello tunes. in real we need to pay for one year. because o[censored]nable to speak customer support we loos our 35rs month. please refund that money also. and i want to activate for one year caller tune.

            My number is [protected] .I've placed a request for prepaid to postpaid(Corporate) migration on 06/05/13 to one of the Airtel representatives(ARIF) at My office with all the documents and got a postpaid sim. It took 8 days time to submit my form at his office meanwhile i tried calling all this while but her never answered my calls 8 day later he came saying form has been submitted and he disappeared. Then on the 15/05/13 there another executive (Sashidhar) came and said ARIF is resigned and he didnt submit any of the forms. then i had to submit all the documents on 16/05/13 to Sashidhar and got another sim, the agent made me destroy the old sim card since there is new application processed for the same, for 3 days number worked fine and the 3rd day (21/05/13) i've got a message stating the migration is completed and you can insert the new postpaid sim and enjoy the services. Here is my problem started when i insert a new sim i dont and signal tried whole day with no use. Next day when i contacted the Airtel reprentative (Sashidhar) he said the number was activated with old sim(provided by Arif) and said he placed a request for the sim number replacement in database. now Its been 4 days my number doesn't work anymore. when i call my number the responce i got is "Thing number Doesn't exist". for the last 4 days i've been trying to contact the Sashidhars manager (Sudhaker) he says he dropped in a mail and there is no responce and i contacted Mr. Ravi who is the Channel manager for airtel conrporate he gave the same responce saying he dropped in a mail to concerned dept. for last 2 days there are not even bother to answer my calls. There is an important occation at my home and my number was printed on all the invitations. and i've lost all my contacts and i've lost the Caterers just because my number wasnt working. This kind of treatment i've got from AIRTEL which i never expected. i'm now available @[protected].

            Airtel Postpaid — Migration

            HI,

            i had requested for Migration for one of my post paid numbers in the two which i had . And after getting behind them for 20 days, they had Termiated the servies for the other number which i had not given any request.

            And for each and every thing they were asking me to go to Airtel outlet. There they ask me to call Customer Care and these customer care people will say to meet Outlet.

            And at last its all waste of time, money and Time for me.

            This is the best Experiance i ever had with these kind of Mobile service providers we have.

            Airtel — Higher Charging for Migration SIM

            I have lost my mobile last month. So, am in need of migration SIM. So, I contacted the Airtel Show Room near our place (Kalpakkam). They said that the price of Migration SIM is Rs.200/- But when i contact customer care they told that it is only Rs.150 only and more over they are providing wrong details like it should be activated with in one month from the date of loss. If these AIRTEL Show room itself charging higher than the normal price then what is the difference between a recognized dealer and a normal vendor. Below i have provided the detail of the Agency. Kindly take the necessary steps in providing the proper solution in this issue.

            i would like to bring it to your notice that i am using Post Paid connection number [protected] of Air Tel from last 4 year, i was not getting the bill properly, billing amunt was not proper, for examlple i had not activited Missed Call Alert and the service provider were charging from last 14 months, and finally i brought to there notice and it was de-activated.

            For all this reason i have changed my post paid connection into pre-paid and i have cleared all my outstanding on 30/03/09 at 4.30pm and even recharged on the same day for the same number, but till now(02/04/09 - 11.30am) my numer for pre-paid connection is not activited, there is no incoming are outgoing from 01/04/09. this is way Airt Tel Service provider is Harissing the costumer.

            i kindly request the concerned person to help me out and give the service to my number at the earilest.

            I had requisted airtel to my migrate my prepaid number to post paid, and I had submitted all documents on 25th April, it's already week over but still my post paid account is not activated, as airtel paople commited that this is going to be activated with in 48 hours of handovering documents and they are cherged rs 300/- as surety deposite, but no use ...

After that recharged Rs.100 and Rs.245 for rate cutter for each mobile. but mobile shows the balance making calls no balance in airtel service. i am getting this information. again 05/01/10 went to airtel office crompet i talk to the prepaid services the reference No:[protected]. she told me after 09 hrs card will activate. until now these cards are not activate(06/01/10, 08:00 am). Pls give me a details when it will activate? through sms to my mobiles.

            Airtel Mobile — Post paid to Pre paid MIgration

            I am Venkatesh Airtel-Post paid customer wish to change to Airtel-Pre paid and submitted the application & cleared the Outstanding & Unbilled amount for the same on 23rd jan 2010 in Kodambakam(Chennai)-Airtel showroom. Airtel peoples over there informed me it will take 24hours for migration(So expected 24th Jan 2010), but it was not happened and the 121 guy whom i called informed me 54rp still left as unbilled amount as our system shows the balance amount only before 2 days, so i went back to showroom and paid the same and the Airtel people informed me today evening i.e., 25th jan 2010 it will get migrated to Prepaid.

            Each time when i call up Airtel 121, i want to tell my history what all the things happened till date and they raise a complaint(which gets closed automatically with a invalid reason)

            Latest 121 call details on 29th Jan and the reason from 121 person - There is a difference of 20paise, so we are unable to continue our migration process, if this is so!! rather i am calling they should have called me up (or) messaged me (or) at least when i cleared the amount in Airtel showroom - should have informed this. I asked 121 guy to patch me with a senior official but there was a silent after that....i waited around 15mins in the call but no response.

            If this continues i no longer will be an airtel customer please disconnect the connection and this time don't charge me a monthly rental( as the application is already submitted on 23rd jan).

            On 23th Jan 2015, i`ve opted for prepaid to postpaid migration in my airtel number, Mumbai Area from Airtel website, http://www.airtel.in/mobile/postpaid/tariffs/ . On 24th, Airtel sent executive from Telemax Service to get appropriate documents, and he gave me airtel new postpaid SIM but same number and i gave Rs 300/- for the new SIM. Now after 1 week(31st), i finally got signal in the new SIM and hence my old prepaid SIM was deactivated, when i tried to call someone from my phone, it was redirected airtel executive and every verification/confirmation was done, she informed me that postpaid will be fully activated after 30 mins. That was yesterday 31st at 14:00 hours, now it`s more than 1 day and the postpaid isn`t activate and i can`t use my phone for nearly 1 day now. And Airtel customer service is clueless in solving my problem, they simply continuously(more than 10 times) transferred my call from one executive to another. Finally they told me that they couldn`t find any data relevant to my new Postpaid connection!! I don`t understand what kind of service they`re giving and i am anguished by them.Their so-called premium postpaid service is a hoax.

            I made a request one week ago for migrating from prepaid to postpaid. A guy has come and collected all the documents and collected rs 300 as well.

            But till now it was not done and when i called the helpline number [protected] there was no proper information and moreover i was told that the request was cancelled.

            I dont know what was the reason behind cancelling this request after collecting rs 300 from me.

            I using Airtel since 5 yrs and my minimum bill would be rs 800/month.

            I was upset with what had happend. Now i am going to raise a complaint in consumer court and also moving from Airtel to Vodaphone due to its worst third party verification vendors.

            I request to you to file a complaint on Airtel for harassing the customer and see to that Airtel pay back the amount i.e 300 i have paid to Airtel.

                Airtel — about invalid money deducted from balance

                hi, ..
                i m a airtel user ...since last 15 days daily there is a deducton in my balance of my cellphone...they are charging it for using there servise named as gclub...but im not using this kind of any service at all...my no. is [protected]..
                plz take action as soon as possible.

                AirTel — Deducting Invalid Money

                They automatically start some subscription services and charged me on that services, when I complain against this to their customer service they always blame me that i have called them to activate those services, But I haven't made any call,to start the services.

                This doesnot happened just one time but repeatedly near about 10-12 times.
                I have tried a lot but never got my problem solved..
                (Due to these unwanted services i have already faced the monetary loss of more than 500 rupees.)

                  i would like to inform u that i m an airtel prepaid customer of MP no. [protected], i have a issue regarding customer care service of airtel , they don't have a manners how to talk with the customer, and they dont know that how to make the conversation with the cust.they always talking with attitude and they can not think only a time it self before disconnecting the call and they dont follow the process and the trai rules and they are not aware of that thing that if cust.is not responding properly or he is abusing then they has to give the warning three times before disconnecting the calls..and they just disconnect the calls without reason.plz check it by internal test calls also.and give thm training that how to talk with the customers and teach them that what is customer delightness and custmer satisfaction..they are just disposing the airtel brand image and also making the cust.to remove airtel services from his life.
                  its really a serious matter and a kind of mental harrasement .
                  plz told them one thing that cust.only call to customer care center when he is facing some problem from the services or regarding any query and they are at the position of CSA for just customer service.that' they are there to just recti fy the concerns and give the customer satisfaction..

                  AirTel — Service related issue

                  Hi,

                  I am having an airtel connection([protected]) for more than last three years now and my plan was changed without any intimation. I have been calling customer care endlessly for last 4 days and nothing has been done in this regard. I even have a word with some manager or supervisor to whom the call was forwarded by the customer care executive, she gave me assurance that the old plan will become active within 24 hours and then nothing happened. I didn't get any intimation from the CC that my plan has expired or something and they're saying now it happened because of the normal recharge which i have been doing from last 8-10 months. Many a times call was just disconnected by the CC executive without providing any resolution and with the word, 'thankyou for calling at airtel'. Many a times they forwarded the call to manager and i was kept on hold for 10 minutes and nothing happened adding to that the calls were chargable and everytime i paid more than what was informed i would be charged for talking to cc executive.

                  This is really frustrating and i am pissed with the service and the behaviour of CC executives.Kindly, let me know how to file a complain in consumer court for this awkward behaviour and irritating service.

                  I am Mahesh and i am using Airtel ([protected])for the last 4 years and the service is pathetic and thanks to mnp...wherein i can change the service provider without changing the number...my problem with airtel is that i activated a service for sms wherein u can send sms for 10p/sms and there is a rental for 1 re/day...i have been using the sms pack since last one year and in jan 2011 i send a msg to deactivate the service.after 3-4 days i saw that my balance was still getting deducted..so i send the msg repeatedly for 1 week..nothing happened and finally i called the customer care and told them that i want to deactivate the service and i have been trying to do that for the last one week and they said that they will do it..and they also saw that i was trying to deactivate the service by sending the msg and so i told them that it is not my fault that if there are any technical issues why should i pay from my pocket...tehy apologized and said that they will deactivate the service but there is nothing that they will do to get me the refund or any compensation instead they started blaming me saying that i shud have calld them earlier to prevent from balance deduction...i escalated the call to their supervisors..and i got the same answers..i kept on calling them for a month and atleast twice a week and wasted my money by speaking to them and as it is not free to speak to the cust care..and later i stopped calling them and now its been 3 months to that incident and the worst part is that they are still deducting 1 re/day from my balance..i am just waiting for the right service provider and my research is still going on..and i ust want to know every body that never opt for airtel and IT LITERALLY SUX..(pardon my language)but i am very pissed off..i hope that the company shuts down...and i am sure that i am not the only one who is not happy with airtel..there might be thousands like me..
                  There s nothing you can do now...and even i dont want u to do anything for me...i have faced whatever i had to and i dont know whether i wud still be happy after i get the compensation from u guys...i knw what airtel is i dont want anything from u...i am more happy that i am going to change my service provider...annd i will tell everyone i knw plz not to use airtel...

                  AirTel — Issue regarding the service

                  Dear sir/Madam,

                  i being using the services of Airtel Gsm from last one year. i was having my gprs activated in to my cellphone which was working fine from last 6 months. last month it stop working and i was not able to stream any thing from my airtel Mobile office kind of a internet service they offer, it was showing service unavailable.
                  i called to customer care for to receive the settings form their end, they send me the settings and it was not working at all. i called them after that again and they didn't resolve that issue. after some days when i called for the same purpose, i found that i was not able to speak with any customer care executive as they barred my service of talking with the support team. it that the way to treat with the service users.

                  i want to know that if we are not getting our problem resolved then how could we rely on their services. it was a small issue to send me the settings of Mobile office and they took it in a big way that they barred me to talk with the support team.

                  i think MNP is working in the market, if the services remain like that, we have to shift it from to another Network.

                    I have taken a Airtel post paid card from Baroda with a plan of 799 10 months rental. But when I activated my card the message came for 749 yearly rental scheme for 12 months. I have 2 more post paid cards with same 749 12 months scheme. The airtel office in Baroda returned my Rs.50 back. They also checked with Airtel & they confirmed my scheme of Rs 749 yearly rental. Now when bill came they chaged Rs 799 without my information. Now repeatedly complaining they are not ready to change my scheme & told this scheme of Rs 749 yearly rental is no more existing. I received messages of Bill plan for 749 till one month of purchase of new card. This is really cheating & they are not ready to accept, each time I complain they close that mentioning they cant do anything. Following are complaint numbers:

                    AirTel — to get Bill plan change

                    I requested airtel to get the billing plan change for my 3 airtel numbers on 12th Dec. I got no reply and when i contact them @121, i was shocked to know that they did not received my emails, althogh i had the auto reply for all the emails sent. When i talked with the shift lead at the floor, he gave me a ref no[protected] on 19th dec. On 21st dec i received a sms from 121 that my request has been taken and the same will be done in 24 hrs.But till date it has not been done. Kindly look into this as i m alredy fedup with the kind of service from airtel.

                    my airtel plan is airtelgold the No is [protected] on 7th feb,Ihad payin advance 300/Rs reciept no[protected]khar Mumbai Maxxiesndia.customer Account No.is[protected].and the second advance payment on date 25th,Feb,2008,Reciept no1282395 by cash at same place Rs 500/after this I recieved amessage from MBill on 15th Feb 2008 at 6:36 PM that Rs,1399.is due 1 March 2008.during this month till 25th Feb,not yet recieved the Bill.I call to airtel service provider he say me that your Bill has been despatched and I Querry about ny Balance but he say me that my Balance is 1399 Rs and also say that we will check and inform me on date 4th of march,the Request Refrence No.is 1569920.so sir how it possible that my due date is 1st march so please help me before disconnect my phone ..thankingyou

                    Dear Sir,
                    Myself Mr.Jaykumar Chauhan was using Airtel Post card from 4 years.From last year November 2007, the mobile started showing error " Sim Card Registration Failed".The same was being conveyed to Airtel Helpline no. 121, but the response & service was so poor, that no one solved my problem.Everytime a false commitment was being given mobile will start working in next 08 hours.Also it was being informed to Airtel office at Vega Centre, Tilak Road & it was accepted that i should not pay the bill, though i am not using it & was asked to call after 3-4 days, but no solution, only false commitment.Though I am not using mobile, why should i pay the bill, but still, i am receiving the bill from Airtel asking to pay the outstanding amount of Rs.773.00.
                    I kindly request you to look into this matter & solve my problem at the earliest

                    Airtel Postpaid Card — about bills

                    i have closed my card 2 months back still the bill is coming .my no was[protected].cmplaint given at nanded customer care. no response
                    Airtel are the worst people on this planet earth. I am giving them business worth Rs 10000 a month and they send me a legal notice(I did not receive it) on a previous "CLOSED" airtel number saying I have not paid Rs 1212. Funny thing is that I have concrete proof (CHEQUE NUMBER) that number was closed with full payment.

                    Today I get a call from Court that I will be summoned if I do not pay in 2 hours. I am shocked and I call the lawyer in question. Luckily he helped me out. What happened. I had to pay Rs 1212 again and give him a receipt number immediately otherwise I face consequences.

                    Either I could have fought with them and waste hours and maybe even had to go to court or just pay them the money again.

To add to my woes, the customer care in these places is totally unethical. Once you buy something, they don't even receive your complaint.                     I would like to submit my Consumer Complaint regarding my Airtel Postpaid Mob No. [protected].

                    The bills for this mobile number are all cleared and no current dues are pending, inspite of all such payments neither of the airtel executives are willing to start my service. My repeated attempts to get in touch with Customer care with respect to the same have proved futile and is being paid no heed.

                    Moreover, the constant unavailability of customer care executive is a big hindrance for any customer.

                    This is Ajit Shinde, from mumbai.Last year from one of Airtel Executive i took one airtel postpaid card.That time he gave me that card, giving wrong information about the plan.but after i confirmed with the helpline, i understood there is no such a plan.So i called up in helpline & told don't issue my card & dont activate my card.But still they activate my card & without sending any Sim card they send us me every month bill.Again i called up in helpline & repeat full story, i got replied like, your service will deactivated within 24 hrs & all.But after one year they send me 2000/bill with court notice.So any one please help me what should i do now.

                    dear sir,

                    i a.krishna murthy is customer of airtel from past 5 years with my mobile number [protected] and i also had the add on connection to my number [protected].

                    as i made an coversation with the 121 customer care regarding the migration of my add on number, customer care people suggest me to visit the nearest airtel showroom at anantapur, i did the same as per the instructions given by your people. but when i visted the show room, the show room people of anantapur are not intrested to give service for migration of my number to prepaid and asking me to vist the show room at 1 week by telling me irresponsible reasons to me.

                    iam very much dissopinted with the service provided to me by your airtel dealer at anantapur and if i didnt get the proper service regarding this issue, i need to approach the consumer fourm .

                    Airtel, now a days, constantly changes offers without informing consumers as well as various outlets that recharges Airtel coupons. Recent example is that they had ap lan of recharging 59 Rs, where you get 450 Rs Night Calling Airtel-Airtel Balance. Now they have changed it to STD Balance of Rs 110. Neither the Airtel outlets know this change nor most of the consumers who are using it. Airtel is now cheating the consumers who just go by their big advertisements.

                    I am the existing customer of Airtel Mobile, Mumbai and when I want to migrate to other tariff existing plans with optional elements of various packages for STD and SMS, as displayed on the Airtel website, I am being told that the requested plans and optional elements as prominently displayed on Airtel website are not available !!!                     As I have purchase the post paid card comes under the special category Government Plan till about 10 days.

                    I was abroad and roaming in the US for 2 weeks last month.                     Bharti Airtel Limited — Offered Non-exist Bill plan & have paid advanced

                    From two airtel Mobile No.'s i.e. [protected]; [protected] i got call for offering new bill plan & they sent their person outside my office to collect my existing bill copy and Rs.500 advanced for processing which will be deducted from five monthly rental.
                    From above no. Manish had called up & said there is a new bill plan wherein i will get 200 local minutes & 200 local sms free per month.
                    After that 0.30ps/minute will be charged for local calls & sms.
                    And monthly rental will be Rs.99/- & for first five months i dont have to pay monthly rental as I've alread paid it in advanced.
                    Now these no's are not receiving my call. They told me the bill plan will automatically convert after my new bill date starts. That is 21st of every month. Some time they even pick up & act like a network problem & cut the call after 5-6seconds.
                    Sometimes they even abuse me with vulgar language.
                    When i called up for complaint on 198 for airtel complaint to customer care.
                    Customer care informed me they have not received any payment from me & there is no such plan exist.
                    I am sending attached copy of payment receipt where i have paid Rs.1000(for my two mobile No's)

                        I have taken airtel 4 G connection in Feb 2013 with the assurance of excellent speed, zero buffering etc.However, in a few days of time, was facing speed issues.Forget about high speed, not been able to connect to LTE network option. Even if i get the connectivity hardly at times, the speed is worse than a 2G. I have called up the customer care at [protected].( complaint no[protected]They said a technical specialist will visit my place shortly to solve this problem.Noone came. After that i have been roaming around in their Park Street, Kolkata branch. Thrice i went. They said someone will visit.Same result. After 3rd time, finally a guy shows up. He said i have exhausted my 6 GB prior to the end of bill cycle date. when i asked how to check online. He didnot have an answer. I checked it myself then in www.airtel.in/applicatons/airteldongle.jsp. I asked at what date will regain the 6GB for the month. He said will check & intimate me later on.But didnot care to revert back.Again i had to visit park street branch for clarification. They said to pay the bill & the 6 GB will be retrieved by 22nd of May. Also said have waived off the late fee as per earlier intimation & i will be intimated shortly regarding the waiver via sms. Neither i got any intimation about the waiver, nor getting the LTE, 4G required speed.I am totally frastrated with this level of customer service and harassment & feel totally betrayed after taking this expensive connection since it did not serve my purpose. AND SAID HE WILL GIVE THE COMPLIAN NUMBER

                        5. AGAIN THE SAME LADY CONNECT ME TO SOME HELP LINE NUMBER, WERE IN THE GENTLE MAN ASK ME ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND GAVE ME THE COMPLIAN NO.

                        THE BALANCE IS NOT REFUND TO MY ACCOUNT YET……..
                        AIRTEL IS NOT AT ALL PROVIDING THE SERVICE AS PER STANDARDS SET BY OTHER SERVICE PROVIER .
                        DON’T BUY NEW AIRTEL BCOZ OF POOR SERVICE –CUSTOMER CARE REMAIN TO BE INACTIVE MOST OF THE TIME.

                        First of all ,I would like to thank and congratulate the Airtel customer care service team for the pathetic and shameless service that has provided to me since I have converted this number from Pre paid to postpaid.

                        I have converted my number( [protected]) from pre paid to post paid on the 23 of December 2011 ,
                        and my billing date is from 26 to 25 (as per the information given to me by the CCE) of every month, so to get my December month bill I had to make countless calls to your customer care which doesn’t seem to be care much about the customers

                        Please note down the following grievances and revert me with any resolution if you can otherwise let me know the procedure for Mobile Number portability(MNP)

                        • The bill plan that was given to me was of Rs 99/- rent ,but instead I have been charge with a rent of Rs- 149/-
                        • Some one time charge of Rs 750/- has been installed on the bill of which I do not have any information
                        • To address these issues I had to make several call to customer care which did not provide me any resolution but instead made in hold on for like 30 minutes( in one case) , so I want all the call charges pertaining to 121 to be removed till the current date( 09.01.2012)
                        • I would like to register complaint against Mr Kiran( full name not available, please check the records) and specially Mr Nitin Mane for dissatisfactory service, and demand an explanation for the reason to be kept waiting for so long approx 30 mins and still failing to provide resolution on such a simple issue.

                        Please address all these issues and make sure they do not repeat in future

                        Airtel — Highly disappointed and dissatisfied from airtel services

                        Dear Sir / Madam

                        I feel highly dissatisfied & disappointed by the Airtel services that despite of paying 14000/- bill all the mobile no.s of Soodsons Industries were barred because the executive did not post the payment in the system in time.

                        Then after calling customer care again n again the services of 4 no.s were restored.

                        But all the more annoying is that on mobile no. [protected] & [protected] outgoings are still barred since 15 days.

                        From mobile no.s [protected] & [protected], I have called 121 customer-care more that 25 times, Visited local Airtel office 5 times & met executives 7 times and called them personally more that 30 times. Also mailed 121 more than 15 times But I feel so disappointed that no one is giving me any solution and now local executives don't even take my call.

                        The 121 executives says that system shows that both the no.s are working but i actual they are not. I received a call from 121 saying that i should buy new Sim's for both the no.'s, even i replaced the Sim's but still the outgoings did not start. Also local airtel office executives says that the no.s need to be suspended and reactivated again only then the outgoings will be restored.

                        Customer care always promises to restore services with in 24 hrs but those were all false commitments. Rather to my surprise after every complaint i receive an sms that query has been resolved which hasent been.

                        In addition to it every time i mail the 121 there is a new executive replying every time without reading the earlier mails and without knowing the history, resulting in no solution.

                        Its been two days i have been trying calling appellate desk and nodal office but no one is able to reply as they say that the systems are getting upgraded.

                        I have no idea what these executives are up to. Either they don't have any knowledge or they are not concerned.

                        I am shocked that how come Airtel can be so much irresponsible towards its customers.

                        It appears that Airtel neither wants to retain its old customers nor want the new ones.

                        I think we have made a mistake choosing Airtel.

                        You have any idea if any Companies no.s are not working then how much business suffers. Whose gonna bear the loss.

                        I think Airtel just knows how to take bills and grab money from customers pocket but Customer Satisfaction aint its priority.

                        I am incurring heavy losses due to the poor service of Airtel. Who will bear the loss.

                        If a customer is facing so much problems, does airtel has no duty towards its customer. Where is that promises, commitments and professional ethics gone which Airtel claims to deliver.

                          sir my brother previously had airtel postpaid number *****46789 which he converted to prepaid 6 months back by submitting all the required documents .as he taken another airtel postpaid SO he converted this number to prepaid

                          now what happened is after converting to prepaid the airtel people calling him repepatedly to submit identify proofs and required documents he already submitted them twice but they were not satisfied with pan card, office id card and landline bill of bsnl and repeatedly disturbing him to come n submit proofs even though he submitted them.one day finally they deactived the airtel services of the number and when my brother went to ask them about the deactivation they said they are not satisfied with the documents and asked him to submit again(are pan card, office id card and bsnl landline bill aren't enuf as id proofs) he again took those documents and went to airtel center and now they are demanding him INR 5000/- rupees stating that it was a fancy number and we cant give that straight away and it clearly indicates their intention that they wantedly deactivated the services even though every required proof was submitted and now demanding 5000inr BY saying that it is a fancy number didn't they know that its a fancy number while issuing I hate this attitude of airtel and now we are fed up with their services

                          I had bought an Airtel connection(postpaid) last month.Even after submitting all docs my Sim was blocked after 1 week due to address verification, but it was released within 3 days.Now again since 20 days my Sim is blocked due to the same issue without even informing me in prior.I Had complained against this many times, but the response is verification is still in process.How long would it take for address verification?if concerned people are not doing their job why should we suffer?

                              I HAVE AIRTEL CONNECTION NO [protected] WHICH IS 699 PACKAGE FOR TWO YEARS TAKEN BY ME. bUT AIRTEL TWICE CHARGED RS 699 AND INITIALLY ALLOTTED SOME OTHER PLAN AND LATTER RECTIFIED IT AND AFTER ONE MONTH AGAIN CHARGED RS 699 AND HENCE AIRTEL IS CHEATING THE INNOCENT CUSTOMER. THIS HAPPEN WITH ME TWICE WITH TWO NUMBER IT MEANS THAT AIRTEL IS HABITUAL IN CHEATING THE CUSTOMER . HENCE MY HUMBLE REQUEST IS TO RECTIFY THE BILL AND TELL THE THE JUSTIFICATION OF RS 785 PAID BY ME IN BEGINNING FOR THE FIRST BILL. I AM NOT GOING TO PAY ANY SINGLE RS EXTRA BESIDE 699 AND ACTUAL USE OF THE TELEPHONE BILL IN THE ABOVE PERIOD. IF THE BILL IS NOT RECTIFIED WITHIN 48 HOURS THEN CASE FOR MENTAL HARASSMENT AND FOR COMPENSATION WILL BE LODGED AGAINST AIRTEL.

                              I have been using airtel landline no.[protected] and have been facing complaints about overcharged bill. The bill is received after the dur date of payment and then i am charged 75 rs extra for latre payment.

                              Not even that i didnt make the payment as the bill was not settled form their end , so they disconnected my no. for 20 days. They kept on calling me to pay the bill. I told them to settle the Bill. Their bill retrival people called me to settle the bill of rs 715 . I told them since the service was for 10 days only so i would pay for 10 days .i.e. 225 rs instead of 715 but after discussion i settled paying rs 450 so that rest wopuld be waived off which was promised to me . But now i have been getting calls to settle the remaining amount. The same previous story is repeating again and again.

                                AirTel — Non activation for service paid for.

                                I am an Airtel prepaid customer and on[protected] I had done a recharge for NOP that is the net on phone service, but till date the service has not yet been activated. Does Airtel fill its coffers by taking the general Indian people for a ride. Im sure the general Indian public would agree with me.

                                17/02/10 I got Message where my Mobile bill is Sent to My mail id
                                Where every time i getting my paper copy in hand but 17/02/10 i got my bill on my mail id which i am not requested to airtel comapny to activation this services.
                                17/02/10 time 09.04am i called to customer care but didnt get any solution. but they registered a request Complain no. F[protected].

                                on 17/02/10 time 12.14 again i getting mail of ebill.

                                After requesting again and again but i am getting messages of ebill, which deliver on mail id.

                                This is ridiculous services of Airtel Company
                                Airtel doing a manopaly they are activating services there own choice without intimating customer/ without customer permission.

                                Please take a action otherwise they do more they can activate any services without customer request, and which liable to pay by me.

                                Airtel has been activating Newsalert,job alert, gyan services to my number within this month with rental RS.1 for every alert without my knowledge.If we deactivate this alert also they will reduce rental for this month complete march.. this is nuisannce...

                                  I have lost my cell phone with Sim card on date 06.05.2013. Then I registered a FIR on 10.05.2013 and block my cell no. by calling at customer care. I submit my document on date 15.05.2013 at baddi office and get a duplicate Sim card. The officer present at office told to me that my Sim will be activate with in 24 hours. Then I open my blocked no. From customer care on 18.05.2013. But till date officer not activate my no. They told me that they do not have rights to open the connection, and when I ask to give me head office no, they told that just go and complaint at customer care and we don't how many days to take to getting right,
                                  When I call to customer care they told me that they could not done any thing for this. I have calling at least 10-15 times but not any response get from customer care.. They give me lot of no like[protected], [protected], [protected](Ruhi dillow) but call can not available to Ms Dillow.
                                  I am suffering still and can not do any thing.

                                    Myself vikas sharma & my mobile no. is [protected] against which I had activated the GPRS services of 99 unlimited plan on dated- 12 May 2013
                                    Please be informed that today on 22 May 2013 I got the sms that please pay Rs.- 2269.00 to continue mobile internet services.
                                    After getting the sms I immediately called to 121 & came to know the plan was activated on my mobile is not Rs. 99 unlimited it is only 2 GB against Rs.- 99,
                                    I was shocked to hear that it was not unlimited wherein was clearly told by airtel team at the time on activation that it is unlimited plan & there would not be any cost after usage of any GB,

                                    The same I had confirmed 2 or 3 times but was told sir do not worry you will be charged only Rs.- 99 since it is the Reliance CUG corporate plan.

                                    Now I would like to know how did I receive the Sms to pay the Rs.- 2269.00 & why should I pay this amount.

                                    Why Rs.- 99 2GB plan is activated instead of Rs.- 99 unlimited after confirming so many times to me???

                                    Why airtel cheating with me, Why his person has activated another plan instead of CUG plan,

                                    They always says that we record the call of customer, they must check the recording on dated 12 May 2013 when this plan was activated & remove the charges immediately as I m not going to pay any of charges of internet to airtel where I was not at all in fault, the same was their person mistake.

                                    Sir,

                                    My prepaid Airtel no. is [protected]. I have been using this no. for the past 2 years. Today (13 Jan 2011) at 1652hrs I recieved the meassage:

                                    ”Thanks for downloading G_Force from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 99. Join GamesClub at http://gclub.in”

                                    I contacted customer care at both 121 & 198 (four times)and reported that I had never downloaded any game or anything and that I have been cheated. They said that they could not do anything and transferred it to thier senior. But (very funny) the called would get dropped within the next 30 seconds, without solving my querry.
                                    What should I do to get back my Rs.99. ?

                                      This is Virendra Kiran Gajula , Working for ABB-GISL , Banglore . I had take corporate CUG SIM card ( sim #[protected] H3 SYS1211 ) on March 26 bearing Mobile Number : [protected] , from Airtel executive Mr.Raghavendra ( Cell # [protected])., [protected]@agni.co.in

                                      All sorts of verifications were completed Positively including Physical verification at residence & Office , Televerification and activation were done but still i am not able to make calls from this number. I had called Airtel customer care several times and spoken to verification desk also but all in vain .Response from the customer care was Pathetic. As per the verification desk the verification was completed and active , there was some technical problem , so that they cant help

                                      .Support from 121 is not at all encouraging , infact it was horrible and executives used to slash the phone on face with out giving proper explanation .In my entire life Airtel 121 call center is the First customer care hanging up the phone several times on the face of the customer while speaking.

                                      As per the 121 Customer service / Call center , the sim was deactivated , don't know the reason

                                      I had even visited the airtel store in white field road , near to Phoenix Mall , as per their records all documentation & Verification was done for this number but there was some Technical Problem.

                                      I had called , 121 customer cares ,198 complaints ,Nodal officer number , visited the Store and wasted lot of time entire last week . One thing is clear that there was some technical glitch and dont know who in airtel is going to support the customer ,Every executive in airtel feels that its not his job .

                                      I am very much frustrated and irritated by the way airtel employees are behaving with the customers . Airtel may be having many departments but for the customer its all airtel . I could not see even a single executive trying to fix my problem rather than blaming the technical glitch,

                                      Many call center executives committed that i will get a call back from thier manager (to my alternate number [protected] ) but till now i had not recieved any call from Airtel.This shows that Airtel never bothers about thier Customers

                                      I dont know why Airtel calls thier service as Gold service as they are not even able to provide Normal service to the Customers . All Airtels competators are far far better than the service provided by Airtel.I am with Vodafone Post Paid for Past 7 Years and i am very happy with is Service.

                                      Everyone in Customer Support ., Store , Verification Desk says that there is some problem but NO ONE IN AIRTEL ARE READY TO FIX THE PROBLEM


                                      Through Airtel representative i Got a Airtel Managers Contact details of Mr Chintun Kale , chintun.[protected]@in.airtel.com , [protected] . I had sent an email to Chintun on 3rd may but no response from him . I had called him on 15th May and he told that there was some technical problem and new sim will be processed with same number [protected] with out any Verifications.

                                      I had resubmitted all my documents again and taken a new sim card with SAME NUMBER [protected] New sim dnumber :[protected]. HLR3 , But it was rejected as they verified in the Hotel address where i used to stay in March . I can not stay in hotel for months as airtel guys will do verifications again and again because of their technical issues

                                      I had sent many emails to Nodal officers and appelete , but there was no support or any positive response from them

                                      Today Morning i got a call from airtel representative stating that [protected] was alloted to someone else . How Airtel can allot my number to some one else when there is lot of correspondence going on with Managers , nodal officers and appelete regarding activation of my number .

                                      I want my number to get activated as soon as possible.

                                      Personally I felt lot of Agony and pain during past 45 days and during this entire Process because of Airtel & its HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

                                      Bharti Airtel — Not able to connect to customer care officer

                                      Hi,

                                      I'm an Airtel prepaid user and am not able to connect to a customer care officer (CCO) through 121/198. The call gets disconnected once you press "9" to speak directly to a CCO. I raised this issue with Airtel in Feb 2012 and is yet to be resolved. When I tried talking to a CCO through a postpaid SIM, I was told that prepaid users can only talk to a CCO thrice a month (even though I was not able to connect even once). This, I believe, is extremely anti-consumer friendly and I'm not sure if TRAI can allow operators to restrict customer care services.

                                        Last day i brought a paper recharge coupon for my airtel number [protected] and accidentally wiped out some numbers on it while scratching to reveal the pin.I was trying to get my pin correct and then airtel barred me from recharging .Whenever i try to recharge,it tells me that i have been barred from the service.Fix this problem as soon as possible so that i can continue using my airtel sim.I am greatly dissatisfied on the quality of recharge coupons provided by airtel.

                                        Airtel has TOO MANY Hidden charges, on post-piad connections. When I recharge for Rs 300/-, I get only Rs 168/- as Talktime.

                                        The Other service providers are better & Efficient!!

                                        I would not recommend Airtel to anyone. Its BAD!

                                        Today i brought a paper recharge coupon for my airtel number [protected] and accidentally wiped out some numbers on it while scratching to reveal the pin.I was trying to get my pin correct and then airtel barred me from recharging .Whenever i try to recharge, it tells me that i have been barred from the service.Fix this problem as soon as possible so that i can continue using my airtel sim.I am greatly dissatisfied on the quality of recharge coupons provided by airtel.
                                        Airtel The Bad service, I was recharging mu phone and this says that this is Invalid coupon and after some try : Says You are barred from this Service : I am totally dissappointed ..

                                        I wanted to recharge the pick pack recharge...but it is saying wrong pin even i typed the correct pin...after some of tries you barred my number from recharging...resolve this problem.
