Hi,

Airtel activated some stupid friends pack for free on my mobile. Then I got a call from some number starting with "5" after which i was being charged Rs1. For every 15 mins. By the time I looked into my mobile I had got a number 10 - 15 messages saying i have charged Rs1. I called up to 121 and raised a complaint the guy refunded me 2 Rs. and stoped it.

I would like to know the reason for such acts from Airtel. And also refund me the amount ASAP. My airtel number is +91 [protected]

I have a airtel prepaid sim and my no.is [protected] and i have some trouble with my network provider. when i call to my customer care no 198 then thay told me that i should call on other customer care no 121 and it is chargable . whan other company, provide us this facility, free of cost 24/7 customer care service so why thay charge for that.

My mobile no is [protected] .today amount of Rs.30 has been deducted from my prepaid account for video talkies subscription.and i have not opted the option.same thing was happen 2 month earlier and Rs 40 was deducted.kindly,look after this matter and refund the money.

    Hi,

    My Airtel Number is +91 [protected]. Yesterday night at around 12. I got a message saying "Thanks for downloading Airtel Video Value Pack_Rs99 from Airtel. You have been charged Rs70." I have not downloaded any such pack. And I want to get the refund of the charged amount ASAP.

    I have also lauched a complaint in airtel presence with reference number PR[protected]. And there has been no response to it so far.

    AirTel — unwanted charge

    i have not done any subscription for any services but charged .i request to stop service and unscribed me.

    AirTel — Video Pack

    I have been receiving wcvideopack activation message from Airtel for the last 3 weeks. As soon as I got the first one, I complained and I was promised that I will not be getting this again. I so far has received 10 such messages and every time I complained, same story. No action taken. Every SMS informs that rs. 3 is deducted from my account.
    Is this a scam? During the middle of this, I was also charged for tadkalive and for a game, I never even downloaded.

I myself a resident of vasanthapuri colony and i have faced the problem o[censored]navailability of network providers and at last have taken Beam broadband services. I don't have any problem in providing my details but it wont rectify the problem, I may not be a person to give you a suggestion but you can setup a survey team in vasanthapuri colony, Malkajgiri areas and gather information from people. Am sure that many people will positively respond to your team.So pls take this aspect personally and look after it and kindly extend the coverage area of vasanthapuri colony with your broadband services.

            Hi,
            I have applied for prepaid to post paid migration for my airtel mobile connection. I have paid Rs.300 by May 15th 2013, and requested to migrate prepaid to postpaid effective form June, 1st 2013. But the airtel executive failed to deliver the new sim. Since then every time I called, he said the sim will be delivered the next day, but they failed to deliver the sim untill june 15th 2013. I have registered a complaint to airtel customer care, but they said we have to contact the executive, as there is no prepaid to post paid migration found in their system for my number. My prepaid mobile got deactivated since June 5th 2013. The airtel executives are so irresponsible in activating my post paid service. I need this forum's help in taking action against the particular branch people or compensation for the delay they caused.

              Airtel 3G connection.

              I had taken an airtel 3G connection but had to close it down since my office site was not opening up with airtel network. So I had asked for a closure of the account. During the closure I was told i will be getting a bill for that month which I will have to clear up. I was fine with it. But knowing the kind of service provided by Airtel I wanted a representative to come and collect the money and give me an acknowledgment that this would be the final bill. I had a collections team member from Airtel call me up for the final amount. Going by airtel's reputation i asked that female to confirm is this is going to be the final bill. To which that female replied yes and asked me to pay the money. I still asked her for a rep to come and collect the money and hand me receipt saying this would be the closure amount. To which she refused saying its not possible. In the end i had to give and pay the money online. But now again Airtel has come up with another bill and asking me to cough up Rs 688. 688 might not be a huge amount to give but the thing here is staying silent when someone is looting the society little by little.

              And i dont know what kind of professionals (unprofessionals i would say) airtel is hiring. Their tone of speaking and their utter stupidity gets on my nerves. Never never never ever go for postpaid connections with Airtel.

              AirTel — network and billing

              this is brijesh here iam using airtel since 3 years i want to make a complaint about the network it sucks big time not only that i activated the gprs 99 plan and i was still charged around 300 for using gprs even though i was using mobile office and not airtel live plus the customer care of airtel sucks big time i demand to speak to a manager i dont get to speak to a manager my call is either dissconnected or kept on hold for 30 minutes also they dont understand english as well as they are very rude i would like to make a complaint as iam sick and tired of this kind of pathetic service
              This is very true
              Yep, the same thing they did for my broadband connection (2 yrs back). I wanted to transfer the connection to my new home. But airtel guys told me that in the new area there is no line and so asked me to pay the final bill online to cancel the connection. Once i paid the final bill, i got the bill for next month too and they were harassing every week asking me to pay up. I flatly refused and after some weeks they came back asking me to pay half the bill. I stood my ground and said they can take up the case legally if they want. And yes, day by day their tone will change, its better you record those calls.

                i am indu bhushan pathak i have lost two sim card 1.airtel no [protected] this sim card was at home using
                my sim card has lost i have given email to company on 26/04/2013 for closing of sim card but he did not close
                the sim card till now he always give the message that collect the duplicate sim card i live at hyderabad
                and mobile phone was at home how can i purchase the sim card without my signature,id proof and photograph

                  I would like to raise a concern regarding my account([protected]). Just recently I noticed that extra charges for movies and topups have been charged which was never ordered by me.

                  Below are the movies which has been charged on my account-
                  02/03/2013 Bisaat Rishton Ki Hindi Rs20 NORMAL NRC OPEN TAXABLE PPV 20
                  01/03/2013 Dabangg 2 Hindi Rs50 NORMAL NRC OPEN TAXABLE PPV 50

                  I never ordered these movies. Please provide relevant evidence to prove that I ordered these movies and the same were delivered to my account.

                  Also below topups were not ordered by me and have been charged on my account-

                  Cine Lite Topup July-12 Channel List
                  Super Kids Topup July-12 Channel List
                  Explore world Topup July-12 Channel List


                  Please advise why these have been charged on my account without my consent?

                  I am highly unsatisfied with the service provided by your team. And this is one among the many bad experiences with your AIRTEL service. I have in the past contacted your team for many other issues and from experience I have little confidence that my concerns will be addressed properly.

                  Please provide a COMPLETE list of transactions with all details in a reply to this mail. I need to check every transaction as I have very little confidence in your service now.

                    This is to inform you, I am facing "NO SIGNAL" problem from 10/06/2013 and logged complaint to AIRTEL customer care on 11/06/2013. Since than I got call from AIRTEL once and committed to resolve the same in 24 hrs.
                    As expected Since then NO/POOR response to resolve complaints-
                    Yesterday I received SMS from AIRTEL as follows- I replyed with UNSAT

                    AD-ARWTSV
                    Namaste! Your complaint regarding 31048646 for your airtel digital TV has been resolved. Text SAT if you are satisfied or UNSAT in case you are not satisfied to 54325.


                    Today also I got another SMS except complaint no was changed - I replyed with UNSAT
                    AD-ARWTSV
                    Namaste! Your complaint regarding 31163197 for your airtel digital TV has been resolved. Text SAT if you are satisfied or UNSAT in case you are not satisfied to 54325.

                    How can they closed my calls without getting confirmation.

                    Hope you can help out resolve my complaint.

                    Yesterday I morning I received Call from AIRTEL to get resolve above complaint by evening.
                    When Noboday turned up from AIRTEL, I spoke to CC - [protected] Mr. Ganesh - Supervisor.
                    He assured my to get my complaint resolved by 2mr. by 7:00 PM.

                    Lets hope/wait for AIRTEL Engineer by today evening.

                      When i Checked my Mobile bill for may 2013,i noticed that I have been charged 160 Rs . for 32 international SMSs from my number ([protected]) to "[protected]" on dated 03/05/2013 at around 11 AM. On the day.


                      It is very irritating that Airtel executives do not have any idea how these SMS's have been sent from my mobile and do not offer any help to track down the number ( Just in case if my SIM has been cloned ) and are insisting me that the call has been made by me and asking pay the bill.

                      sir i am a bonafide subscriber and user of Air tel services but the company wrongly charged std and local rate despite the several request the company did not setteled the matter and continuuosly charged wrong bill from me the company generated the bill on 07/11/2007 and they added rs. 998 for ythe advance rent for ome year and they also charged RS. 1198 december bill for one year advanced rental in first of the 998 they offer me 0.50 paise local and rs. 1 for std and rs. 200 discount for the three month .but they cointinuosly charged me std rate rs. 2.40 paise the company more than 25 day disconected my services.hence it is my request to you kindly take appropriate legal action against airtel company.

                      AirTel — wrong date of bill and wrong bill

                      my airtel connection has been done on 6 june 2008 but my bill has been sent from the date 22 may 2008 to 23 june 2008 and the fake billing has been done about my call detail

                      I have post paid connection of air tel from last 4 years, and i am paying regular bill time by time. But i got wrong bill on this month. the bill is of august 2008. i have made a complain in customer care service of air tel, but there is no proper response on that, they have given the reason that ' i have activated GPRS of air tel' and that i didn't. my average bill is about Rs.350 to Rs.400 every month, but on this month i got Rs.1489.31. so, please do some in my favor immediately because my paying date is 22nd sap. 2008.
                      Dear Sir, I am using Airtel connection since 3 years (my Mobile number is: [protected]) . Recently i have faced a problem with the service provider. In the month of march I received an incorrect bill amounting to Rs. 2549. In the bill there were some number which I never dialed. Numbers that are reflecting that I never dialed are: 5664469, 5664464. The amount reflecting against these number in the bill is Rs. 1548.

                      I have already complained many times to the service provider but there is no positive response from there - Complaint numbers: 21077206 and 21169953,[protected].

                      Please provide a solution and resolve it.second times i complain to you but i am still waiting for your reply.

                      This is to inform you that I have applied for the above Postpaid Airtel DSL line on 2nd June,2010 under “Browser 699” Scheme(Unlimited) by payment of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) by Cash.time hardware charges & Installation charges” through your representative Mr. Mahesh Singh ([protected]) and the same has been installed on 5th June,2010 at my above premises.

                      But it is regretted to note that today on 15/06/10 I have received your Bill No.[protected] dtd. 9th June,2010 for Rs.601=25 for the period 08/05/10 to 07/06/10 wherein you have again charged Rs.500/- towards installation charges. Please note that when I have already paid installation charges then why I will again pay the same. I think your billing department has wrongly charged the same.                       As such you are requested to kindly look into the matter immediately and rectify the above bill and send me a fresh Bill to enable me to deposit the exact figure within its due date.

                      Hi,

                      I have Airtel Mobile Connection from last 4 years and I am alway paying my bills on time. But I have charges wrongly in my April 2011 bill. The wrong charges are for some value added services charges 787 dated 10th April which actually are absolutely wrong.

                      Since then I had resist myself to make bill payment. Airtel Customer Care has contacted me several time and everytime I have to state the story of wrong charges and they have never come up with any clarification for that.

                      As stated earlier, I am on time bill payer for the valid mobile usage charges. So waiting for them to resolve the issue by removing the wrong charges and allow me to make payment for my usage.

                      I have attached t part of the bill that reflect wrong charges ob behalf of Airtel for reference.

                      Earlier many people has warned me about poor customer support of Airtel and now I am experiencing it. Probably thats the reason this site has most 'Stay away' (114) for Airtel.

                      AirTel — Wrong bill charges

                      Hi,

                      I was shocked to find my mobil bill for the month of June to be 4,500 Rps. When i contacted them they said that they have given me a free plan of Mobile Office for using internet and that had expired on May and due to the accessive usage of internet they have charged.

                      But when i asked they when and with whom persmission you have given me the scheme then they said that they don't have any idea and without my prior information they discontinued the 99 rps plan.

                      I am so annoyed with the kind of support that i am getting from airtel as i am there customer from last 7 years.

                      I do not agree with that. If it has been the valid charges, I would have paid them as I had always done in past and would not raise the concern.
                      The reason why I consider those charges invalid is because I have not use my mobile for browsing Internet on that specific day i.e. 10th April 2011 and do not have idea how that usage was initiated.

                      As mentioned earlier, I have contacted by Airtel Customer Care for the outstanding payment, and I requested them to look in this matter and provide me clarification. But I never got any clarification about it and it seems to very pathetic and slow service from Airtel customer Care. But when it comes to payment collection and reminder, they are very prompt. The worst thing is that I never got any clarification and the mobile number is disconnected.

                      Can you provide me more detailed Airtel live usage for the day 10th April 2011 like the web history etc.?

                      Also I would request you to restore my connectivity for the Airtel number (i.e. [protected]) at least for receiving incoming calls, until the issue is settled from both ends?

                      AirTel — Wrong billing

                      Hi, I took Airtel's 2mbps (999) plan which also has an offier on voice calling rental of 300 for calls upto 2000 Rs of across networks, across state.
                      I made call of 1200 in the month of Aug-Sep and they did not applied the discount they offer in the plan.
                      As per the scheme I should have been charged Broadband charge (999) + 300 as i did not cross the limit of 2000.
                      They gaveme bil of 999+1200.
                      After raising lots of complain with the airtel they haev created the ticket but no one is working on that, i have caled several times but no convincing reply from them. once a nodel officer had called and said they will not put any late fee because of the open ticket though in the next month bill they have added the late fee also. I also esclated it to nodal officer and appllet officer still no resolution provided for one month. Mow i have also received the Se-Oct bill and same problem has been repeated.
                      Finally i have decided to close the connection. Even though they replied that request has been loged for cancellation and some one will call you in 48 hour still no one has called.

                      I'm using postpaid airtel sim from past 6 months. From last few months I'm getting
                      a incorrect bill showing some unknown numbers[protected] with a chargable amount of 100,
                      which I have never dialed. Even I had complained to the costomer care but there is no proper
                      response.

                      This happened for all most 4 to 5 times, and I'm getting furstrated with this fault bills.
                      Please provide a solution and resolve it soon else I'm plaining to disconnect this sim
                      and opt for the other service provider.

                        I Mr.Bhavin I want to complaint about my balance. My balance is deducted to Rs.200 yesterday on 10.45pm and again deducted to Rs.99 today to Rs.99 on 9.15am. total balance is deducted to Rs.299.

                        Airtel — unilateral deduction of amount from the balance

                        Sir, please note that Airtel involved in manipulated business to earn the money. I never asked for any download, or any extra service. Simply they use to send some messeges to my mobiles and without my knowledge and consent they use to send me the sms that thanks for the activation and this much of amount has been deducted. It has happened few times, and noticed to customer care executive on perticular occation. Whenever i contacted customer care executive, every time i used to get new person. For them i have to explain the complaint since begining, and at last they will say complaint has been registered. Other than this they will not do any thing. Totally, so for Airtel has deducted from the balance illegally amount of Rs 200. Being a customer of Airtel Since three years i noticed worst service recently. The reason is oranigation is establised, customer is addicted to and not go anywhere. Airtel wants to do monopoly business. Now i want to get rid of thirdrated business of Airtel service

                        My name is vasu I am having airtel mobile connection ( [protected]) for past two years. for past 15 days i could not connect the following number [protected] a BSNL land line from any airtel moblie from tamil nadu. The only answer is this number is not in use. But I can receive calls from the above number and I can call the same number from any net work like aircell , reliance and others.                         With the great hope i m writing this complaint to you.

                        I had recharged my cell with Rs.1000 in month of June...and suddenly in last 4 days my balance which was above 800 went down to Rs.0, i was shocked to see that and wondered why this happen,i called there customer service (phone number:121 through my mobile) to help me out in this matter but i dint get positive reply and they ended up saying it was some scheme.i m not at all interested in any scheme from airtel.

                        I had been always recharging my cell with full talk time e-recharge,i asked airtel to refund my money regarding above matter and they denied for the same.

                        There are other problem with airtel services,they are deducting money by automatically activating services without customer consult, services like hellotune and spriritual tip etc...i think that they are forcefully trying to impose there shemes on customer.

                        Now this is become too much and unbearable,every time customer keep quite so i think management from air tel has become very careless about customers and are finding ways to lighten customers pockets,to make airtel profits..for which they can only get cursed by customer bcoz whatever we earn is through our hard work.

                        I request you to please take serious action regarding this note as there are many customers suffering and don't know where they should go and complain.

                        Airtel — Without intimation hello tune activation and money deduction

                        I have buy Airtel sim last month for my mom. From last week i am facing the prob of auto activate hello tune and money deducted by airtel without any intimation. On 8 Aug 2010 i had talk with the airtel customer care representative and deactivated the Hello tune service and giving him instruction that we never want hello tune service automatically activate on this SIM. Airtel Complaint No is [protected]. But yesterday morning same thing happen again. Without any request airtel started hello tune again and money deducted from the balance.

                        I think airtel doing this because they are started to charge when we speak with the customer care representative. They want to earn money this way. I know to call customer care and deactivate the service and ask for refund amount. But what about those people who dont know about this....? Airtel cheating with their customer.

Because i was lookin for network change as the call rates are high in airtel and i got a call from airtel customer service saying that there is an offer i.e 1 paisa per 6 sec and this will be activated in 48 hours and i was ok with that and this was on 3rd of march today its 9th of march and its still not activated.                           I have been imposed incorrect & undefined charges in the name of "one time charge" my mobile bill for the last 2-3 months by Airtel Mobile provider. I have complained about it, talked to customer care & even put the query & written it to them on mail. Even tried to call nodal officer but no one is picking call. I am not getting resolution for my problem.
                          Even I have made rest of the payment except these charges but Airtel has barred my number & services. Every time their customer care rep. calls me & transfer call to their senior but not giving me justification of the charges imposed & none of the senior person is picking call, worst customer service & attention.
                          This is completely illogical & unjustified. Please do the needful ASAP.

                          I am using airtel services for the two years before four months i had changed prepaid connection to postpaid connection, and for four months the billed amount is about 400 to 500, but the bill dated 03/01/08 the amount to paid is about 1900.13, suddenly i checked the summary of the usage in that i came to know that the GPRS usage is billed for 1310 . i dont know wat to do i had sent mail to the airtel customer care office. but till now i had not received any reply mails.

                          Airtel — wrong charges from last 2 months

                          Dear concern,
                          three month ago I received a call from airtel and an executive convinced me to take a one month plan in which i had to pay rs299 and i will get 999 min of calling to any local GSM mobile, I agreed because they said its just for a month. one month passed i paid that money. then again next month i received a bill which include rs299 extra, i called 121 and said them to deactivate this service, they said it will be deactivate. but again this month i have received the bill with rs299 added. I called them again and said that i will not pay this money but their executive PUSHPINDER (FEMALE) said "nothing can be done now", when I asked to talk to the senior, she said she is the senior most and nothing can be done.
                          i am using airtel number i;e ([protected]) from three years and this is a total harrasment for an old customer and i want that something can be done for it.

                          Airtel Mobile — Charges even when the call do not go through

                          I am a subscriber of Airtel mobile. I noticed that there are lot of charges for calls for short duration (3-15 sec/pulses).
                          On close scrutiny of many of my old bills, I found out that these charges are for calls that never went through or got connected.

                          I would imagine that this is a big racket by the telephone company as most people do not recall which calls actually goes through.
                          I wonder if there is any independent authority to Audit these "Short duration " calls.

                          Airtel Mobile — Incorrect Charges Applied.

                          I have received a bill for with the incorrect charges. I asked to change my tariff plan after which i have been charged for both the rentals & when i asked to rectify it, they didnt do that & now for the last 1 week, my calls are also barred even after raising complaint for incorrect bill so many times. This is happening for the third time during the 2-3 years of services i am taking from airtel. Now i just do not want to continue with thier services. I have 2 number, one is +91-[protected] & other one is +91-[protected]. Bith the numbers have the same problem. Its rediculous that the fault is from thier end and they have barred my calls(outgoing) & when they unbarred it, they'll charge the rent for that period as well. So i dont want to carryon with airtel anymore.

                          AirTel — Payment charges

                          I have made my payment of Rs. 1183 against my outstanding amount of Rs.1333 in the Airtel Gallery on Malad. I was given a waiver of Rs.150 by an Airtel exceutive in the hotline.

                          However I have now received a bill for the same with late payment charges. My Churn Request number is 30559054.

                          I have send an email to nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in on 15/02/2010 but have not received any email from them.

                          I have a Airtel Mobile Connection and the No is [protected], Recently i called to Customer Care of Airtel for inquiring about DND, that was registered on 10th June 2010, I got shocked by listening to that i will be charged 50PS for 3 minutes for talking to Customer Care Service, I wanted to Know from the Airtel that for what purpose we will call to your Customer Care Center- i think if we have any problem with your Service only we will call, if you give Good service why we call, i think this is the Only company which charges for Talking to Customer Care Service, No body will call your Customer Care Centre to Pass their TIME, Please Take Proper Action against to this, and let me know.

                          AirTel — service stopped

                          We are using Airtel landline phone in our office as corporate connection as Swastick tubes Pvt ltd, a/c no.14882721. We have received excess billing from 24.4.11. We have paid the bill on 10.5.11 (before due date) and complained to Airtel for excess billing. Which’s complaining no. is 47612594. Our complain has not been resolved after regular follow-ups. We have received again excess bill next time. Now we have not paid the bill and our services have been stopped.

                          We want to resume our services & solve our complain. This is our corporate connection direct & indirect loses.

                            I am an user of Airtel Mobile from past 5-6 years. From past few years i have seen the worse support provided by Airtel to its customers. First of all there is unncessary balance deductions and when contacting the contact center the response is very bad and there are frequent disconnections of all. When the executive is not able to transfer the call or resolve the issue all they do is disconnect the call. When i complained about my hellotune not working. All they could do was to inform that we have some technical issue and will get back with the updates. However nobody contacted me with the details. I spoke to the supervisor even he failed to get back to me. I was recieving a continous SMS alert the Hello tune money would be deducted when actually my hello tune was not working from past few week. I have complained regarding unnecessary money deductions many times however nobody pays any heed regarding the same. All i can say is AIRTEL IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER.

                            Airtel — unexpected charge cutting

                            i am using power Rs 156, which will expire on 14th June, for that i receive local AtoA free Rs 1500. But 6th June i made a call to local Airtel no, it reduces my money from the original balance.
                            i called to the customer care immediately, where i got an answer that it will be repaid within 24 hours, but nothing has done yet. previously i face a similar problem but i dont get any help from your end. pl take care of this. thanking you in anticipations.

                            AirTel — False commitment for money

                            On 30.06.08 I paid Rs1200/-for [protected] postpaid number inthe morning around10.30a.m.At thetime of paying cash I asked the dealer dteff of Annapurna Enter prises, (Nr S.K.B.R college, Amalapuram-533201 Andhra pradesh)person said that within two hours amount will be uploaded in respectinve a/c.still evening 5.30p.m also they did not upload bill amount, after that I visited dealer hegiving answer very rash & stating that it may take 9 to 12 hours time.Which is a false statement given by them.

                            Here my intention is they are not responding properly & not giving exact information to the customer eventhough they were misleading by giving false commitments.they are not service motivated only money motivated

                            i am operating this from past two and a half years, i am deeply unhappy
                            with airtel service, because now a days their network is very bad,

                            As i was calling to airtel customer care these people is not responce properly, & they are telling the stories that our network is under?upgration, I don't think for upgrating the network they don't need months together, as I am working in Bangalore International Airport the network is very bad?here so that i am loosing lots of my currency.

                            as Airtel have introduce Song Catcher, I tried to use that facility it was successful, my currency balance also debited, but after just three hours later my hello tune was changed to the tune of airtel, so I called airtel customer care around fifteen times Mr. Mani kanta is not responded properly he just disconnected the line it was happened several times with airtel customer care executive, one of airtel Executive told that my correct hello tune Will be reactivate within 24 HRS but it was not happened so this is too ridiculous from Airtel that we have not getting proper service from airtel end.


                            I think even & then we pay the amount to all these services, airtel is not reaching to our service

                            Yesterday onwards i am not able to talk with airtel customer care also because of they blocked it.


                            I hope you will work it out on all of your services to the best.

                            I had made a request for deactivation of my Airtel to Airtel all over India re 1/ Plan on 2 Oct and since then i have called your customer service as well as your complain sevice atleat 10 times, every time i am promised that it will be done within 24 hrs but still it has not been deactivated till today . It is really bad on your part that i am beening troubled for so many days for such a small thing . I must say it has been as really bad experince with you people and i have totally lost trust on airtel as you people have not been able to keep up to commitment .

                            Airtel — irrational deduction of prepaid balance

                            unaccountable, irrational&unfair management by air tel authorities.
                            hai iam an airtel customer and due to my optimum usage i have been able to gather aprepaid balance of about 770rupees.last month imissed my deadline of recharge by 15 days. for which my balance was completely brought down to zero.it is totally unfair for a new sim connection
                            would cost around 100rupees. for my repeated queries i was given awierd answer that any customer who misses his deadline even if has lakhs
                            of balance would be brought to zero. as consumer do i have any right to fight against this irrational penality i had to pay for air tel,

                            Airtel Prepaid — money deduction

                            I am an airtel customer. They have made an offer that '250 SMS can be sent if you recharge for Rs94'. Jan 1 is listed in the black out days. But Jan 2 is the day this offer is valid and it worked also for sometime, that is Rs130/- was deducted from my 250 SMS account but in the evening while I checked my balance RS 100 is deducted from my ordinary balance and 100 is increased in the 250 SMS balance. Why this sudden change of deduction without any reason. This is equivalent to cheating the customer for no cause. Then why this 250 SMS offer in recharge of Rs94/- is made if not to be followed. I have an unnecessary loss of 100/- for which company and their nonsense scheme is responsible. Why charging additionally from customer?. Has airtel become so poor and irrational? Then go and beg from the streets you will get money. This is ridiculous

                            THIS IS REGARDING MY AIRTEL MOBILE CONNECTION [protected]. I HAVE REPEATEDLY INFORMED AIRTEL REGARDING OVERBILLING AND ABOUT MY DISCOUNTS WHICH IS NOT ACCORDING TO THE PLAN. I AM NOT GETTING ANY DISCOUNTS MENTIONED IN THE PLAN. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM FACING PROBLEM WITH ANY POSTPAID CONNECTION WHERE THEY HAVE WRITTEN ALOT ABOUT THE PRODUCT BUT NOT GIVING A SINGLE PERCENT OF IT.

                            FIRST OF ALL LEMME TELL YOU MY PLAN: I AM HOLDING "Airtel National Calling Plan" WITH Rs.2499 IS A MONTHLY RENTAL, IN WHICH I SUPPOSED TO GET "Free minutes of(4000 Local + 2000 STD + 500 roaming (IC/OG)) and Free 5000 SMS(Local & National)." I HAVE COPIED THE EXACT CONTENT FROM THEIR OWN WEBSITE.

                            NOW SEE WHAT I PAID:,

                            ON 04-April 2009, I PAID Rs. 1305,
                            ON 15 April 2009, I PAID 500.
                            AGAIN ON THE SAME DAY, 15 April 2009, I PAID MORE i.e. Rs. 400. BECAUSE THEY KEPT MY NUMBER'S SERVICE BARRED AND WHEN I TALKED TO THEIR CUSTOMER CARE UNIT, THEY STARTED

                            COUNTING BUSINESS ETHICS, LIKE THEY THINK I AM A NEWBIE, AND WHEN I ASKED THEM FOR THE RESON, THEY SAID AS THEY DON'T KNOW ME, THEY CAN'T EXCEED MY CREDIT LIMITS. IF THEY DON'T KNOW ME THEN WHY HAVE THEY ISSUED ME THE NUMBER? WHERE ALL THOSE ENQUIRY WENT, WHICH THEY MADE BEFORE ISSUING NEW NUMBER TO ME?

                            ANYWAYS NOW, IN 11 DAYS I HAVE ALREADY PAID Rs:2100 still I am excluding the ACTIVATION FEE of Rs.500. Again today I got a SMS from Airtel Customer Care that "Your Total usage exceeds of Rs 1243 which exceeds you CREDIT LIMIT of Rs. 1200." and now again to Activate my services I need to PAY Rs 900 which means if I pay this amount then my Bill will reach to Rs.3000 in 20 Days. STILL 10 DAYS ARE

                            LEFT FOR A MONTH TO BE OVER AND I AM SURE MORE WILL COME.IS IT MY PLAN? OR IT WAS MY MISTAKE TO CHOOSE YOU AS A SERVICE PROVIDER? I WANT AN ANSWER FROM AIRTEL AM I ASKING FOR ANYTHING MORE? I AM ONLY ASKING WHY I AM NOT GETING DISCOUNTS? WHY SHOULD I PAY MORE THAN THE AMOUNT I HAVE BEEN ASIGNED. DON'T YOU THINK WHATEVER HAVE WRITTEN IS NOT TRUE FOR CUSTOMERS? AS PER MY VIEW THEY ARE MAKING FOOL WITH THIS. I AM VERY MUCH DISTURBED BY THIS.

                            I KNOW ONE THING, ALL BUSINESS INVOLVES RISK, BUT IF YOU ARE NOT BRAVE ENOUGH, YOU MIGHT LOOSE CLIENTS LIKE ME.

                            LASTLY AGAIN, PLEASE HELP ME, I WANT EITHER MAKE MY PLAN MORE AS PER WORDS OR TERMINATE MY NUMBER AND RETURN ALL MY MONEY BACK.

                            Airtel Mobile — Money deducted unnecessarily

                            my mobile number is [protected] on last tuesday (05.01.10) they debit rs 20 from my account mentioning i had download some movies from mobile . But i din't download any thing from mobile. I call'd the customer care on that time and i inform them but told me it's taken as a complaint and it will rectified in two day they give me an complaint number also. But still i din't get any solution from them till now . Today i'm not able to connect the customer care executive also. It's not a bigger amount for me. But they are not responded.

                            Airtel Mobile — deducting cash unnecessarily

                            airtel has been deducting rs.99 from my mobile no. [protected] as subscription towards gamesclub. the message gave a link to contact in case i want to unscribe. i did this plus,emailed the same request. i recd a reply that said-no results. and Rs 99 has been deducted from my prepaid account. i want OUT from this gamesclub and a refund too promptly.
                            my currency(20 rs) has been deducted unnecessarily on 14/7/10. plz refund it..

                            Airtel Prepaid — need money back

                            Dear Sir,
                            I am having a prepaid connection no-[protected],using my blackberry. I was trying to enable my gprs in my blackberry. so i followed the procedure by sending sms and i got deduct 98 rupees before i got the setting to activate gprs. when i asked the customer care, they say the gprs cant be enable in a blackberry. so now i want my 98 rupees back in my balance.I called upto 198 their complaint number and they say its not possible now and afterward they dont even pickup my call. Need a strong action against this. Its not about 98 rupees its about service to customer.

                            Airtel — Prepaid Mobile erroneous deduction

                            I have been using Airtel Prepaid mobile phone[protected] for over 5 years. On 7.1.11 when I was using my mobile phone the line got disconnected with a message "your balance is too low to make a call". When I checked the balance it was Rs.2.32.

                            On 8.1.11, I went to a recharge shop and recharged my mobile with full talk time of Rs.345/- and I received a confirmation from Airtel for the recharge with Transaction ID No.[protected]. Time of recharge 8.17 pm

                            As I used to make calls to my daughter in US, I have also put a US booster for Rs.44/- with a validity of 30 days. This will give me the benefit of talking to US @ Re.1/- per minute. I have received confirmation from Airtel for this transaction under Trans. ID No. [protected]. Time of recharge 8.18 pm

                            I made a call to US around 9.15 pm on 8.1.11 and spoke to my daughter for 20 minutes. When the call was over, I was surprised to see that the call charges was Rs.89.60 whereas it should have been Rs.20 only.

                            I immediately contacted the shop where I recharged my mobile who in turn asked me to contact Airtel Customer Care on 198. From 9.30 pm onwards I tried, tried, tried and finally I got the Customer Care executive on line and explained that I have been deducted Rs.69.60 in excess. The executive kept me on hold and came back after some time and told me that their record does not show any recharge made on my mobile on 08.01.11 i.e. both Rs.345 as well as Rs.44 booster. I asked the CC executive if my mobile was not recharged then how could my balance got increased from Rs.2.32 to Rs.347.32. The CC executive was repeatedly telling that his data is not updated for the recharge I made on 08.01.11 and the balance is not from the recharge I made. He suggested me to tell the shop where I recharged to contact Airtel on 12144. I retired for bed at around 11.30 pm.

                            On 09.01.11, I went to the shop and told them what the Airtel Customer Care executive told. The shopkeeper contacted Airtel on 12144 and gave all the details about recharge. The Airtel CC executive took my alternate mobile number and informed me that Rs.69.60 will be added to my balance within 48 hours and also US booster Rs.44 will be activated. Time I spoke to Airtel CC executive was around 4 PM on 09.01.11.

                            As they gave me 48 hours time, I waited until 8 pm on 11.01.11 and checked my balance in the mobile, which remained Rs.257.72. I called Airtel CC on 198 again and asked them the status. They repeated the same version. I asked them one simple question - if I have not recharged my mobile phone, then how I got the Transaction IDs from Airtel for successful recharge. I also told them that as a customer I need not worry about their internal problem as to whether their data got updated or not. As I got confirmation from Airtel and the Transaction IDs given by Airtel itself is the proof of having recharged my mobile, then why this mistake happened. They have no answer for my question.

                            In the meantime, I received a call from Airtel Customer Care Mr. Manoj from Mobile No.[protected] on 12.01.11 which I could not attend. I made a call back on 13.01.11 and he informed me that since their records did not get updated for the recharge, he could not do anything. I requested him to put me through to his boss, but he said he will call me back after talking to his boss. So far (11.45 am 14.01.11) he did not call. While speak to him I asked him if I do not get proper justice I will be pushed to go to proper forum to raise the issue.

                            This episode has put me in great stress and health problem as I am 60 years old. I need justice. If Airtel is not benefitted from my recharge, then who is the beneficiary. I am in dark as to how to proceed further in this matter. Please help.

                            I am trying to contact 121, for complaining about my airtel bill plan.But response from customer care executive is not at all satisfactory.First of all, it takes lot much of time to connect to airtel executive.If by any chance, customer care executive picks the call, they disconnect it and don't call the user again.

                            Recently i am getting worst-service ever by airtel prepaid. I am a customer of airtel for 3 and a half years. They cutted my mobile balance in a emergency situation,with (minus)-10 rupees. Inspite of all this they are not connecting me to the customer care executive.                             Airtel Prepaid — Unnecessary subscriptions and deductions

                            They call from some numbers and when we pick it up and reject after hearing that its an automated call, we get a message that Rs 10 or so has been deducted and thaks for subscribing.
                            Few days ago, i was sleeping when i received a message "Thank you for subscribing for xxxxx, Rs 10 has bee deducted". I was shocked. When i called their customer care, they told me that i activated the service by calling 121 and activating it, which i never did. In fact i was sleeping when i received the message. And this is not the first time. This keeps happening all the time. But i dont call just because they never refund any money and say that you yourself activated the service. God knows how they operate. If they are running short of money, let us know. All users will donate. But this way of gathering money is totally pathetic.

                            My name S.S.Shukla and I am Serving in Indian Air Force At Air Force Station Maharajpura Gwalior (M.P.).                             Service is not good, If we complaint about balance money is taking unnecessarily,And If we try to call customer Care they purposely cutting our phone call.                               My name is YK Khoday ([protected]) and I am using Airtel mobile connection.
                              On May 21st, I sent a porting out message to move out of Airtel to Vodafone. On the same day I received 3-4 calls from Airtel to convince me not to move out. As I had made the decision I told them clearly that I want to move out.

                              After one week on May 28th, I received a message from Vodafone stating my porting out request was cancelled due to outstanding payment with Airtel.
                              I called customer care to know about how much outstanding amount I have... so that, I can make the payment immediately and move out but i didnt get proper response (how much i need to pay) then I told them to put me to their supervisors I was told that, he is busy and you will get a call back. (never got call back - this happened twice- false promises to the customer).
                              I wrote 2 email (written on June 5th &amp; 11th - attached) to &#039;[protected]@in.airtel.com&#039; and no reponse (Their automate mail states with in 24 hours I will get the reply back which never happened - again false promise). On June 6th when I called customer care again they told me that you have to wait till your billing cycle date (which is 20th) to get to know how much you need to pay and then you can move out orelse I have to pay the unbilled amount of 6000 odd or I have to visit nearest airtel outlet to know the exact amount to pay. When I visited Banshankari Airtel office she told me that they dont have any facility to calculate on a pro rata basis and I have to wait till your billing cycle (customer care fooled me again by saying she will tell me the exact amount and waste my time to go to Banashankari). Now it is close to month but still I am not able to port out moreover i have given security deposit of Rs. 300 while taking the connection. I am Scared now after this billing cycle date on 20th I will receive the bill after few (5-6)days. I dont want to wait again for next month 20th to pay amount for this 5-6 days. Please requesting you to remove me from this mess.

                              My concerns

                              1. When a new customer walks in, they immediately give the connection and they calculate the bill on a pro rate basis why similar kind of methodology is not followed when the customer moves out?
                              2. They called me several times to retain me by giving offers why they are not telling this is the outstanding amount you have to pay to make the port out (not even a single call received for the same)
                              3. Everytime when call the customer care service they will give you diffrent answers (1 will say you get the exact amount how much you need to pay one says you dont get the details unless your bill is generated.

                              Airtel — Network issues & not allowing me to port out to Vodafone

                              I had complained to Airtel as there is no network available where I stay at Mumbai vide their Service Request No.is 38717608. They had said that they would resolve by5th Aug-2011 15:35:28. They did not do anything so I decided to portout to Vodafone which also Airtel did not allow saying that my connection is less then 90 days old. This is also incorrect as owing to no network, I was told to move to post paid from prepaid on my same number [protected] and now they say its a new connection wherein I have this since years. My Vodafone port in request is AM 935543.

                              Please help me port out to Vodafone by directing Airtel to relieve me.

                              AirTel — Porting Out Problems

                              I have been a customer of Airtel –Post Paid for the last 2 to 3 years. Recently, I have been facing severe connectivity problems in my office and residence. Therefore, I resolved to port to another service provider 2(Six) times and subsequently placed my Porting request to Airtel-Postpaid for my Airtel (Mobile No:[protected] and [protected] in the name of Mr. Sayed Suhel).

                              one executive visited to check the connectivity on 28th October and told me it will be solved in two days and from then he vanished. and then they have rejected my porting request, then again i complained on 5th November, 2011 complaint No. 40444821 they said they will solve the problem by 10th November, then again they called and told me your problem will be solved by 14th November, but it is still not solved.

                              Today that is on 15th again i made a complaint , the interaction id is[protected] mr. Mr. Shailesh now he is telling me your problem will be solved by 18th November, i dont know what to do, please help me in this matter.

                              I,being a Sr. Lecturer and counseller , am facing serious communication problems with my students.

                              I, therefore, earnestly request the Airtel Management to enable my Porting request in future and help me to get out of this existing imbroglio.

                              AirTel — False Promises by Airtel

                              Hi,

                              When I wanted to port out of Airtel to Aircel because of their standard one paise for two seconds offer, Airtel called

                              back offering something similar. It's been one and a half months and my tariff hasn't changed.
                              The scheme promised was
                              + Half paise per second to airtel
                              + Two paise per three seconds to non airtel
                              + Hundred free messages per day at no initial cost
                              Retentions said this would be activated 5 days from when I cancelled my porting request, which was on september 30th.
                              The last person who called me took details down and promised it'l be done by Monday, the seventh of November.
                              Nothing has changed.

                              Airtel — not allowing to PORT to vodafone

                              even after requesting for two times my request for porting to vodafone was rejected by airtel and the customer care is not ready to give any logical reason. i had already paid airtel more than i had used, still they are again and again rejecting my request to PORT.

                              I do not want you guys to work now...It doesnt make any sense to work now when I am leaving your network. I just need a clearence from you so that I can move to Vodafone.

                              You have replied to the complaint which I made here on the same day and if the customer send mails to your customer care id you need more than a week to reply for the same. It clearly shows that how you are treating your customers. You people will not reply unless and untill customer raises their voice and rip you in public forum. And it is already 2 days now and I have not got any call from you regarding my complaint.

                              Piece of suggestion : Go through AOL history once and it will give brief idea as how they got kicked out from the US market. If you dont improve your service now you will be second company like Nokia which is out of market now.

                                Internet not working due to big packet loss

                                my internet is not working proper due to big packet loss from airtel servers. i complain to them 7 days before today but they are not fix yet. when airtel support team member come he, told me he can only check with ping not checking with other way. i proved them my network 80 to 90% packets loss from airtel server.

                                  To the Appellete Authority of Airtel Karnataka,

                                  We are being repeatedly harrassed by Airtel to pay bill for our landline connection ([protected]) for March 2013 when we had stopped in February 2013 itself.

                                  I wrote a mail to Airtel to stop the landline on 21.2.2013 and Airtel confirmed us on 25.2.2013 that the line was ceased.
                                  Also Airtel stated that the final bill for Rs. 1581.92/- would be generated by 27/02/2013 which I paid.

                                  Further to that, they voluntarily called and offered to check if our Bangalore landline can be transferred to Hyderabad and after a few weeks they said its impossible.

                                  Later they sent another email (sub: [protected] [|BAL|Qrc207031317035914580966|]) on 17/3/2013 asking us to pay Rs.3139.25/- and we had paid that too.

                                  And by end of March, we had received one more mail stating that we should pay a further Rs. 794/- which am disputing now.
                                  Repeatedly your team is harassing us for money for the month of March by when we don’t even have the landline.
                                  I had raised a Complaint # 30537982 for this but with no action /update.

                                  Today I got an email from Airtel stating that legal action would be taken on me for the remaining Rs. 794 and they asked me to talk to one Ms. Anitha on [protected]. I did that but she knows only about the pending amount and nothing else.

                                  I have mail proofs for all that am claiming and despite sending several mails to Airtel, no proper response was given so far.
                                  I would expect a proper explanation for this continuous chase for money with no clarity on your mistakes which i had highlighted.

                                  Airtel Landlin — No response from airtel

                                  I am having airtel phone connection approx from last 8 years. Few days ago I have shifted my residence and applied to transfer my phone connection to the new address on 29 January 2008 complaint no. 11658071 Executive name Mr. Pramod. But even after 5 days no response is received from the airtel.

                                  Now i want that my number should be disconnected with immediate effect so that I can live a hazzel free life. I tried to contact their customer care no. 4012100 and 4016100 many times but they used to keep me on hold for 20-30 min. and if any executive attends the phone then he refuses to help me in this matter.

                                  I request airtel to pls forgive us and pls disconnect the phone with immediate effect.

                                  AIRTEL (LANDLINE) — No outgoing and no action

                                  I booked a new broadband and landline connection for my new home in Noida on January 28, 2008. Very promtly the payment was collected, and with my earnest request for urgent installation and reminders the broadband and phone line were installed on Febrary[protected]. The landline did not have a dial out facilty at that time and I was told that it would "come alive" in 24 hours. Till today it is not possible to dial out on the phone. In this past 40 days I have registered 20 complaints at the Airtel call centre[protected] as that is the only way to register a complaint.. I have a collection of complaint numbers and each time I am asured that "in the next 48 hours", or "by 11.45 a.m. tomorrow", or "5.30 p.m. the day after" and so on... the complaint will be resolved. Nothing has happened. This is an absurd situation... the focus was to sell a broadband connection and they did that, now its the customer's headache that the phone line does not work!

                                  Airtel — Billing even without connection.

                                  I took an airtel internet connection Previous year.
                                  But asked to disconnect it because of their poor service, but even after paying complete bill, Airtel office in Gwalior is generating bill on my name every month.
                                  Almost every day a retrival agent from there company comes to my house and askes for payment, I'm not using the connection for about a year and have reciept (71722) dated 18/11/2007 from there agent whome I gave my last payment with Modem and my Telephone numbered:[protected].

                                    It has been a month since i purchased a SIM from airtel store at windrose traders, thopumpady, Kochi and still the SIM is not active. Every day i have to call them and ask about the activation. Intially the excuse were that system is not working in Thopumpady and later the issues was in systems of airtel. Not sure with so many system issues in place how airtel is able to work.

                                    After all the system issues are solved now the excuse is airtel chennai team have to do something to get my sim activated and every day i call them i hear just one solution that "it will be done today"

                                    Alternatively i thot i would send a note to airtel customer service which airtel call as "need a help". Multiple people from airtel called me and asked for the same details again and again like where i purchased the sim, sim details, etc etc. and after mailing some 7-8 times about the details itself i get a reply that "we regret to inform you that your SIM is not activated". What a reply!!!

                                    I didnt mail airtel team to let me know that my sim is not activated, i wanted them to pitch in to speed up the activation process rather than letting me that sim is not activated, the important reason why i mailed need a help service.

                                    I have been an airtel customer for last 8 yrs and this is very sad to see that no one has any solution for this. Either they should tell me that airtel cannot do it and please go ahead with some other good providers who can help me out.

                                    Airtel Postpaid — Not activating

                                    I made my payment of rupees 550/- for Rs:715.There is only 165 is remaining.My service is blocked.Please make it active soon.

                                    I took airtel postpaid plan 12 days before today is 10.02.2009 i submitted all necessary documents.Airtel also deactivated my existing prepaid sim.& still they not activated my postpaid sim.this is very bad service..I am in very much loss due to airtel service.

                                    I have taken two Airtel Postpaid connections on 17th April 2009. Still it was not activated. By the time of taking SIM cards, executive of airtel said that it activates with in 24 hours. But it is not activated still now. I am very much dissappointed with this service. Even if i make any calls to executive he is not respoinding properly. I paid 1000/- deposit.
