I am a registerd customer of airtel postpaid. I took this new connection few weeks ago. The problem is that the unbilled amount is not matching the actual frequeny of call being made out by me.
like if i have called a number which will cost me Re.1 for 2 mins for about 5 mins and so on. Now at the end of the day when i check my unbilled amount which i knew would not go above Rs.20 , it shows Rs.30. And day by day it adds Rs. 30 irrespective of how much i have dialed out.

When i wished to complaint about this it they told me that they do not launch complaint on unbilled issues. Which was ridiculous. As this would be the amount they gonna bill me on.
And till now, even after 10days they have not sent me the bill yet.

I am really goinig mad. A service they have.
Please help me.

Airtel customer care has been raising so many requests for a single issue I dont know reason for creating duplicate request numbers In the month of Dec2007 an agent named Sudhakar came to my home and informed that i need to pay 11500 due amount for the number[protected] I talked to his Team Lead Narsing Rao who informed that once i pay the amount he will be deactivating the number and closing the account I made a payment of 3000Rs on 12th Dec2007 Receipt number 29607 payment of 8500rs on 31st Dec2007 receipt number 29618 I gave the deactivation papers to the agent on the same day Narsing Rao promised me to send the Settlement papers in the 1st week of Jan2008 But they failed to keep up the promise
In the March Bill Airtel has added 2857rs to my number [protected] as a one time charge saying it is the due amount for[protected] when i called the 121 service they informed that[protected] number was active till the month of March and they have charged the rentals I explained the issue to the customer care agents and they said they will be arranging a callback from the billing I received a call from Krishna who was from the billing department he said that he will wavingoff the onetime charge and will be sending a new bill But was not done yesterday i talked to srinivas and he said that he will be activating the outgoing services within 45mins as the tools were down he also promised a callback from the billing depatment with 4 hrs whereas i didnot receive a single call from Airtel I called the 121 services at 3.15AM talked to Anil when i asked him regarding the information why there was no call made to me by Airtel he disconnected the call, After that i tried calling the 121 services for four times, Everytime agent picks the calls, keeps on Mute and disconnects the call, Later i called the 198 services and talked to Sai Krishna Kumar, he said he cant help me, when i requested for the supervisor he informed me that the supervisor wont work in the night shifts, his Team lead name is Sudershan . Again i tried calling the 121 services, result was the same they pickup the call and disconnects it . Then i tried calling the 121 services they answered the phone and the agent was again Anil as i mentioned earlier, when i asked the reason for the call disconnection he said there might me a problem with the network, when i asked him for the supervisor he also gave the same answer that supervisor works only till 10pm, unfortunately Anils supervisor name is also Sudershan . When i asked him the request number he again disconnected the call . Again i tried calling 121 services this time the call was answered by Govind, as soon as i gave my name, he too disonnected the call.
I would like to know the reason why this was happening . If this is the case with the customer care service hope its not worthy for the Airtel to run the 121 services . For all the reason if customers are requested to contact the Airtel office situated ar Begumpet, what is the purpose of 121 services where the customers waits for the IVR options to talk to an agent in the queue and when he reaches the agent they inform us to go to the Head Office . Today when i was calling the 121 services and press option 9 to talk to the agent, it asks us to send an SMS, why is that when the customer wants to talk to the agent it is redirecting to send an SMS, Are the Airtel Services FOOLING the customers making them to wait in the queue and later redirecting it to send an Query through SMS.

I would like to draw your kind attention towards deduction of my cell phone billing amount from the TATA Credit Card which is not as per the consent or instruction of the Card Holder (myself). In fact, a photocopy of the credit card was submitted to the Airtel (Bharati Cellular) as a supporting document. I don’t know, how did you entertain such transactions without my prior instructions and it is also crystal clear that the user’s name in the bill is RIMA, whereas in Tata Credit Card the name of the holder is REMA.

What about Business Ethics? Do you only believe in recovery? What about Customers’ Satisfaction?

I had cancelled my post-paid connection in the month of Febraury, 2008, of which I have two receipts collected from the Airtel Gallery, Chembur of excess payment adviced by the executives of the Gallery for conversion of mobile connections from Post-paid to Pre-paid, the executive of the Airtel Gallery promised me that both the connections will get converted within 48 hours in the month of February, 2008. Unfortunately, till today, I am receiving bills for both the post-paid connections inspite of my frequent requests.

Is it possible to get the aforesaid amount back or do I need to contact ….. ?

I would like to bring to your attention, an incident that has resulted in serious insult and loss of money due to the irresponsible behaviour of a staff member of your organization.

I am holding an airtel connection ([protected], Alwar, Rajasthan) since the last few years. As I wanted to change my plan from that of Rs 450 pm to that of Rs 150 pm, I had sent my wife to request for the change at your Alwar office (Road No. 2) on the 5th of August, 2008. After making the necessary changes in the system, the executive was seen joking and spending time with the other members of your team who were all standing around a PC which appeared to have something funny running on it, without telling about the details of when the change would reflect in the billing etc. Even after repeated requests for information on this, she was ignoring my wife who lost her patience and returned, thinking that the next month’s bill would be as per the changed plan. However, I have received the new bill in August for Rs 450/- though I had used the connection to make calls of the value of only about Rs 10/-.

Upon enquiring about this anomaly today, I was told that the billing cycle starts from the 5th of every month blah blah, which should have been told when my wife requested for the change. In that case, she could have been able to disconnect it then and there. As I am upset with this kind of ethics from a so called reputed organization like yours, I decided to discontinue the connection. Upon asking about details of the formalities of discontinuing, I was told that I will have to pay the said bill amount.

I am not willing to pay any money more than that of the changed plan as I am totally justified in doing this. Your executive did not answer my wife’s queries and kept her waiting while fooling around with her colleagues.

I need a fair dealing in this case or else I may be forced to take this to consumer court.

This is with regard to Itemized billing charges on my monthly bill for August 08 and September 08. Further to the telephonic enquiry by Airtel team to activate Itemized billing
facility, I accepted to have it in my Plan. When I found that August Bill was not delivered to me, I called Airtel service represtative and requested him to deactivate the Itemized billing facility (unbenifited) on my Plan. Soon after 2 or 3 days I got a SMS confirming that Itemized billing facility has been cancelled from
my Plan.

Meanwhile, I chose Airtel online account for viewing my Bills every month and making payments as well.
When I checked online for September 08 Bill, it reflected an outstanding balance of Rs.30 (charges for itemized bill for the period of Aug 08) plus charges for September 08 (i.e. Rs.60 in total). In view of this, Let me ask you 'How can a service industry charge people unwantedly since there was a SMS confirmation on deactivation of this facility from Airtel in August 08 itself. This appears that Airtel does not have a standard Finacial / Billing management.

Moreover, I have contacted Airtel service representatives numerous times to remove the unwanted charges imposed on me but so far they have not done anything instead of making false statements everytime. Last month, one of the Airtel service representatives called me to follow-up for payment as I was delaying deliberately to get a positive response regarding the existing issue. After being assured for the removal of said charges, I made the payment online. Surprisingly, this months' bill has shown me again the outstanding balance of Rs.60 (as stated above) plus a late payment fee for last month.

Altogether, I am asked to pay Rs.110 which appears in my account as outstanding balance! However, just to avoid any further late payment I have made the payment for current month leaving the prolonged
balance which I do not owe. Airtel service representatives are really pathetic when an issue is dealt. They communicate like a Tape recorder always!

Can anyone assist as how this irregular service is brought to the public.

1. not getting the appropiate discount which was charged in favor of value addeded charges for SMS was for Rs. 225.00
2. Placed a request to change the bill plan as on 30th of March 2009 with the billing plance Airtel199 from Airtel 444 plane.
3. Mailed so many times to Airtel on line but no response received from your side regarding this. Below is attached mail which is showing how many times I have mailed to you but you send an automatic mail of confirmation of receive the mail only. No action received from Airtel customer care side.

Airtel team & Airtel network is becoming is becoming very worst now-a days , after 10 to 15 days of bill generate & due date is over also Airtel is not sending the bill ( Hard copy or soft copy ) when we go for customer care centre also no proper responce , every time customer has to beg on airtel help desk peoples for any concerns , i have got fedd-up because of airtel network issue & billing query problems

In november 2012 I had applied for the airtel 3G datacard service (Internet Dongle ) .I subscribed for a package which would charge me Rs750 for 3GB and after 3GB 80 kpbs absolutely free.This ensured me my bill would not exceed rs 750.However when i received the call for verification they informed me a pack for 5GB at Rs750 is activated and after 5GB 3p per KB.So i went back to the airtel gallery asking them how did this happen .The person who had done my formalities for connection told me, its a mistake and they havent activated that package.They convinced me it will be sorted and sent a request for change of package .But next month i got to know still the pack hasnt been changed .Hence again I went to airtel gallery .He sent another request and told me not to bother it will get changed the next month ..However March 10 2013 my data services were suspended as my bill amounted to 2347 .For the next two weeks I was running to and from airtel gallery making calls sending emails.The airtel gallery officials were very rude to me, being a lady they kept me waiting and throwing attitude and finally washed their hands saying theres nothing they can do to directly mail airtel. In my mail pleading for some kind of help as it is not my fault the wrong package has been activated . I was told an amount of 750 has been waivered and posted and another 400 will be waivered in month of april .However I recieved an sms again reminding me to pay my bill, the waiver did not reflect hence i informed them .They confirmed the waiver will reflect in the bill .I got a call from airtel saying an outstanding amount of 1500 is pending to pay it off asap.Since I couldnt remain without an internet connection anymore I paid an amount of Rs1000 and my internet was restored . However yesterday ie. 6/4/2013 I was informed an outstanding amount of 2800 is pending and my internet is suspended once again .They claim there is no mistake in the bill .On the otherhand I have recieved paper bill of 3800.I am trapped in the game of airtel. Sick of calling their customer cares who keep diverting you to other numbers or keeping you on hold .Please help me
