[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — unwanted subscription from 290603

I have not subscribed for the "Thoughts for the day" fro 290603. Still I have started getting daily messages with the topic from the number. No response so far from Airtel. Please get the number 290603 blocked. I do not want to see any messages from the number. Besides this a refund of all the charges which have been debited by Airtel.

Airtel — Receiving unsolicited sms with deduction of Rs: 15/- each time.

My Airtel Mob No. is [protected]. Since July/2010, I have been receiving msgs from AD-54321 " You have been renewed for My Expense Tracker subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs: 15. Enjoy Best Games ! Join Games Club http://gclub.in " and each time Rs: 15/- are going to be deducted from my balance. This has happened for more than 10 times and inspite of send them "STPO" on 121, there is no stoppage in sending the above bloody msg and deduction continues from my balance.

Would you please help me from the above unethical practice of AIRTEL or shall discontinue the connection .
on[protected], i bearing airtel's no. [protected], got an sms telling me that Rs.30/- had been deducted for sony pack which i had not asked for. Can somebody look into this please ASAP as it is quite bothersome to be charged when i do not need the above mentioned services of any kind of pack like jokes etc...

Airtel Prepaid — Unwanted Subscription

My mobile no is [protected]. Over the past 3 months, every month I am receiving a message from 50505 saying that "Thank you for registering. You have been charged Rs 15 for..... event." and Rs 15 is being deducted from my balance. On 2 of the last occasions i contacted the customer care center and the have removed the subscription and money was refunded back into the account but on both occasions I was charged 1/- for the talk time. I had instructed that I am not interested in any subscriptions and that i am not to be disturbed. I was assured that it will not be repeated in future. But now again on[protected] I received the same message and Rs. 15 has been deducted. I do not want to be disturbed with offers or subscriptions and I want the money to be refunded to my account.

It is to inform anyone from airtel so called " SCAMTEL" that

i have got three airtel numbers and this ScamTel is been robbing me for more than last three years . once i activated GPRS service on my mobile number [protected] for one onth and then i sent a msg to stop it . i have got the msg that " my service has been stopped and i wont be charged Rs 299 anymore", then one month past with any trouble and then the next month i was charged Rs 299 for GPRS, this thing didnt stop for like 5-6 months and in the mean time i called customer care so many time and they said " Sir we didnt start this service, you must have sent any msg from your side". finally when i told them that i am gonna sue ur LAME company., they finally refunded my amount which was near about 1500.
Now for few months first they charged me Rs 1 per day for more than one month and when i got to know that i have been robbed again by this Bull Company, i called customer care( which is now paid service i[censored] call in) i was charged rs 3 for that custoer care call And i was refunded Rs 6.
Then again After 10-15 days this HEAD COMPANY again put some cricket alert on all my three cell numbers ( [protected], [protected], [protected] ) And start to robbing me again . When i called customer care I was charged some money and got refund for last 72 hrs charges.
Now the latest one ---- i got to know on 6th January that this SCUM BAG COMPANY has put some RANBIR KAPOOR PACK on my number [protected] and has been roobing my rs 1 per day since the Dec 19 2010 and when i called in the customer care, these HEADS refunded me ONLY RS 3 .

AND yeah not to mention that have been registered at NDNC .


IN case case any LOOSER from AIRTEL reading this i have two words for you "" SCREW YOU""

And to all my fellow Citizens . Please Switch to any other Service Provider !

Airtel — Airtel prepaid unwanted subscriptions by Airtel itself

Respected sir,

We are using two airtel prepaid mobile connections. 80561***96 and 98424***38.

For which, whenever we recharge/topped up, the balance goes off automatically without even using if for calling. When we called the customer care, they are saying you have been subscribed for news, jokes etc, which we never asked for. And then they unsubscribed us.

After recharing next time, the same cheating continues. Its a never ending problem. I think, most of the prepaid users might be facing this problem.

Request you to warn AIRTEL for its day robbery. Its SHAME for them, for thier SHAMEFUL activities like these.

AIRTEL PREPAID = CHORTEL — UNAUTHORISED ACTIVATION

AIRTEL PREPAID EVERY NOW AND THEN ACTIVATES SOME UNSOLICITED VAS. I LOOSE MONEY ON THAT AND THEREAFTER IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO CONTACT 121 AND 198 AND THERE TOO I HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENT FOR CALLS.
MAJOR PROBLEM I HAVE FOUND THAT IF SOMEBODY GOES FOR RECHARGING FOR FULL TALKTIME AIRTEL THINKS THAT THEY ARE RICH AND START CHEATING. I HAVE GONE FOR FULL TALKTIME RECHARGE ON 1ST JANUARY 2011 AND IMMDTLY THEY RECOVERED AROUND RS. 280-290 ON THIS OR THAT VALUE ADDED SERVICE. AFTER A LOT OF FIGHTING AND SPOILING MOOD IN NEWYEAR BEGINING, I COULD RECOVER ONLY PART OF MY MONEY AND THEREAFTER THEIR 121 AND 198 CHEATERS DONT EVEN RESPOND TO CALLS.

DESPITE MY REPEATED REQUESTS FOR NOT ACTIVATING ANY VAS OR ANY GOOD SERVICE EVEN IF IT IS FREE, THEY ARE CONTINUED TO PLAY MISCHIEVES.YESTERDAY THEY AGAIN ACTIVATED AIRTEL CALL MANAGER SERVICE AND STARTED DEDUCTING CHARGE FOR THE SAME. NOBODY IN 121 OR 198 DESK IS READY TO TELL WHO STARTS SUCH UNSOLICITED SERVICES AND WHY? ANSWER IS CLEAR AIRTEL STARTS UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS SUCH VAS AND FOR UNDUE GAINS.

AFTER DEALING WITH THEIR 121 AND 198 PEOPLE I COULD REALISE THAT HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO FIGHT WITH MIGHTY ORGANISATIONS?
NOW WITH NUMBER PORTABILITY AT LEAST AN OPTION IS AVAILABLE TO MOVE ON RATHER TO FIGHT WITH THESE CALLOUS PEOPLE.

Airtel Prepaid — pro mtnl sms

i am using airtel preapaid no is [protected] tkm 2 weeks bfr.not yet revd any confrmtn sms regarding doc recvd or not.not recving any promtl sms.thank u
Same thing is happening with my moms mobile as well airtel is really a thief they are activating services on there own and the customer service executives have no clue it is really irritating they recently they have started deducting rs 5 everyday for some contest which we never agreed upon at the first place there should be some serious action taken against these so called corporate thiefs.

Airtel/prepaid mobile — Unwanted Activation of VAS services. messages from number 290603

There are some SMS from sender '290603', message centre. These are unopted for and unwanted. They are followed by message debiting my a/c with Rs. 3/- each time. I have complained with customer care centre on 24.05.2011 to block such undesired and unopted for downloads and restore my balance.so for i lost Rs21
we dont want any nonsence messages, deactivate and reimburce the amount whatever detected so far
Plz resove this proble. This is really stuppid way of minting customer without bringing to their notice.

Airtel — unsolicited subscription for Movie and lifestyle debited to my Mobile

Since 24th June, 2011 Air tel is debiting Rs.1.50 daily to my account towards subscription for Movie and Lifestyle which I never subscribed to. My Mobile No. is [protected]. I want the company to refund my account immediately with the amount already debited.

Please provide all these facilities to the people who have subscribed instead do not charge us for unnecessary reasons.

Airtel — Non refund of Activation Charges

I am vivisting the airtel gallery at chalakudy since two months with a complaint of non refund of my activation charges. No action has been taken still. The number is active sice 4 years and i wanted to keep the number active. Really worst service in this competitive environment....

Airtel — Unwanted charges and not resolving complaints from 3 months

I am suffered from airtel services they activate the services and never listen the complaints/or work on complaints neither on customer care or Consumer forum. I have also make complaints on 17 july against VOV Video Service for deactivation on my mobile no [protected]. But they don't stop the VOV VIDEO SUBSCRIPTION services and also block the customer Care service on my mobile no. Who Will pay the amount which is deduduted on my mobile no from May . I was very unhappy from airtel. If they dont't stop the service and return the amount which was deduted from my account then I Switch to some other network.

Airtel — Activation unsolicited subscription

The airtel has activated subscription and deducted Rs 5 for an service we never asked for. They repeatedly do this and deduct amount. We have complained this to the airtel customer call center but no action has been taken yet.

Airtel — Unsolicited subscription to services by Airtel

For last two days, Airtel has been charging me Rs 5/- everyday for some video parlour service which I never subscribed myself. When I first got the sms for this, I called the customer care where they said that they will deactivate it. Today again, I got a message saying that it has been reactivated.

Airtel is playing these dirty schemes of subscribing people to unwanted services so that they can be fleeced. I checked some of the threads on GrahakSeva.com and it seems this is being faced by a lot of people. I would like a very strict action taken against Airtel.

Airtel 3 — No activation/refund

Dear Sir,

I am doctor by profession and work for the World Health Organization .My home town is gwalior , i came to gwalior on 7-5-2012 and purchased a 3G dongle with data connection scheme for Rs2390 from City Centre office , gwalior . I was told it will get activated in 2 hours and it didnot worked , i asked my dad to follow up and still nothing happened , he went many times to airtel office i had to leave to jaipur later and that was the purpose i took it so that i will be connected on the move. It didnot work at all. I came to gwalior on 12 and complaint again and again and went personally 4-5 times , they told its a technical problem and when asked to return money told they cant , its my bad luck.

subscription of Hello tunes and other services without even subscribing..
Sometimes free trial services gets activated..and for unsubcribing it, they deduct 3-5 bucks..
WTH!!!
