[Resolved]  Airtel — Blank call

I too received a missed call from [protected] on 15th June @ around 12:43 pm. As soon as I realized the country code +92 is for Pakistan, i have no friends or relatives in pakistan. pls tell me what i have to do. i m worried about it.

i also received one missed call at morning at 8.05 am dt on15.6.2010 from no [protected]. i heard about this fraud & i also complaint at our near airtel branch about this and report this matter to police. so i request u to resolve this matter immediately.

AirTel — Blank Calls

I am getting multiple blank calls from same number[protected]
i keep getting calls from this number. always blank. at least once a day. (some time 4-8 calls a day)
i called back but this no is not in use.

on contacting airtel customer service, i was told i have to go file an FIR. dont think i have time for that.

what can i do about it .

i have also recieved a missd call from No.[protected], and as I was not aware of the code 92 which belongs to Pakistan I gave a call back they said that I have won 25 lakhs . I was sure that it is a fake call and after that I found that this call is from pakistan, he said that he is calling from Mumbai and his name is Rahul sharma.
I request you to kindly do some thing and look into the matter seriously,

Today 8:40am on 28th July 2010, I also received a missed call from the number [protected], and after that I will search that issue of the internet and i got the same issues, request Airtel to resolve this issue urgently and advice Airtel people to report this matter to CBI & Police.

I also got two missed calls from [protected] on 19 Aug 2010 at 10.36 AM, I dont know why somebody is calling on my mobile ...I dont have any known in pakistan...request pls verify the number

I received a call from [protected] today i'e on 19-Aug-2010 at 2:33pm. I do not know anyone from Pakistan nor do any of my friends/relatives are traveling there. The call was disconnected as soon as I received it. I suspect that this' something very serious to be looked into. I request the AirTel authorities to probe into this and let us know what the scam is all about.

i have also received blank call from no. [protected], so called up back thinking a mobile missed call but it charge me =R= 10 thn i came to knw its isd call and i searched on net found Pakistan code and all this an scams.
Y Airtel only...? i think all complaints here r frm airtel users

I got a blank call from the number [protected] this morning @ 9:27 IST.

Was surprising why this is happening. I hope this is the third time I am getting a call like this.

im getting continuous blank calls from the number:[protected].
even after warning so many times, it has not stopped doing that.
the problem is happening since past 3-4 weeks.

I got a missed call from the number [protected] on 27/09/2010 at 1:07 PM IST on my Airtel number [protected], when I searched on web I came to know this call is from Pakistan.
Can you please verify this number & reply me. Further I wolud like to request to AIRTEL that this type of complaints refer to C.I.D./I.B/C.B.I.

Hiii, I have read all the complaints about the scam calls starting from +9230...Today I have also experienced the same at about 9.30 AM from [protected] and speaking some urudu Language. I dont understand anything what he was saying and after a 27 seconds he disconnected abruptly. This call has come in my ZAIN connection and not in AIRTEL. For your information I had updated my Mob # yestarday while applying jobs through JOBSBYREF.com. Is anybody can intrude this job site and play mischief game like this and what is thier motto behind this ?...Pls advice me regarding this issue ..Like where I have to lodge a complaint and against whom?...Your immediate response is highly appreciated.

I have also received the same call today at 10:11 am.
Are pakistanis are looking grrom for their bride. I think thats why they are calling us.
