Dear Sir,
I am Jiten Kumar Garnayak, received one missed call while I was talking with another collegue. The missed call was received from the no :[protected] around 10.30AM. When I have called the phone was not connected & responded that your phone does not have ISD facility. Then I came to know that it is an ISD no. So I have searched in the internet & found that as per the code it is belongs to Pakisthan.

I donot understand how such blank calls are comming & need solution for the same. Please help us & any support required please contact me in my mobile no :[protected]

I did not take your any service on my no. but 20 rs. are deduct from my moble from last two weeks 10 & 17 july. I am confused why the 20 rs. are deducting from my no.

I tried to contact cusomer care but i am not able to contact them. It is very bad for us that we can not contact to customer care to solve our problems.

I dialled all nos, [protected], [protected], 121 every time i follow all instructions but when i push no. 9 to talk to customer care there was no reply & call disconnect every time.

Now solve my problem & return my money. Make your system more powerfull so that every simple people can tell you their problems.

Personal — Missed Calls/Blank Calls

We're getting missed calls and blank calls continuously for the last one week. We'd like to have the incoming call details for the last two days i.e. 30th Aug 2009 and 31st Aug 2009. We don't want to make an issue out of this, so we don't want to make any police complaints.
Please, help us. Please send the details to the mail given above.
The calls are increasing day by day.
Please help us, make this ASAP.
I got blank calls from number [protected] on 24/09/2009 between 5:20 PM to 5:30 PM.

I searched on internet for this number and came to know that this call is from Country "Pakistan (+9230 international Mobile Dialing Code)"

This morning (17th Dec'09) at around 10:10 am I received a missed call from this number - [protected].
I though of calling back on the number but disconnected immediately after dialling.
I thought I should check the country code and was surprised to see it is the code for Pakistan. I know nobody in Pakistan and I am not aware if any of my friends are also travelling there.
I was even more surprised to find that a lot of Airtel users have been receiving similar blanks calls.
Would like to know what is going on and why are so many people receiving such calls from Pakistan.

I TOO RECIEVED A CALL FROM SIMILAR NUMBER [protected], BUT DID NOT PICK UP THE CALL. IT SEEMS ITS A PAKISTAN NUMBER, BUT I DONT KNOW ANYBODY IN PAKISTAN BY FAR ALSO. WHATS GOING ON????
Hi Today (21st January 2010) my wife got a missed call from the number [protected] at around 9AM.

When she called back he said that you have won Rs 10 lakh from AIRTEL and to claim your prize, you need to call up at their head office. When she asked, where are you calling from, he said, from AIRTEL - Mumbai Office. She got suspicious and immediately reported the matter to me, and i found out that its an ISD number originating from Pakistan.

Friends, beware, they are running some scam, or someway to dupe you, otherwise why would a person give a missed call that too from Airtel, on Airtel mobile. And why would he misquote that he is calling from mumbai.

@ AIRTEL: This happens when you guys sell out your customer data (Phone Numbers, Name) on the street for the pety money from advertisers.

I will be posting this on multiple threads so that Airtel can take some action on this.

I too received a missed call today at 15:00 hrs from [protected] which happens to be from Pakistan Mobile Mobilink network on my Airtel
And I know no one there... or travelling to that country

is it a scam... something is fishy...needs to be looked at.. if so many are reporting the same...

I too received a call from [protected] on 12th March @ around 8:10 pm. I picked up the call but no one replied. As soon as I realized the country code +92 is for Pakistan, I disconnected immediately (I even switched off my mobile for few minutes in case someone is tracing it or doing something). Next day I discussed with Airtel CC about the issue. They just assured that I need not worry but be careful not to divulge any personal details.

What is it with all these calls from Pakistan? Dont they have anything better to do? As it is we are bugged with marketing call from all over India. Now all we need is calls from Pakistan.

my wife too received miss calls from a porkistani no +92 [protected] today [14/05/2010 around 9:30 AM ], we did not notice the country code and called back and he said same 10 lakh won stuff ... but from voice i recognized its a porki voice and cut the call.

I am getting multiple blank calls from same number[protected]
i keep getting calls from this number. always blank. at least once a day. (some time 4-8 calls a day)
i called back but this no is not in use.

on contacting airtel customer service, i was told i have to go file an FIR. dont think i have time for that.

what can i do about it .

i have also recieved a missd call from No.[protected], and as I was not aware of the code 92 which belongs to Pakistan I gave a call back they said that I have won 25 lakhs . I was sure that it is a fake call and after that I found that this call is from pakistan, he said that he is calling from Mumbai and his name is Rahul sharma.

Today 8:40am on 28th July 2010, I also received a missed call from the number [protected], and after that I will search that issue of the internet and i got the same issues, request Airtel to resolve this issue urgently and advice Airtel people to report this matter to CBI & Police.

I received a call from [protected] today i'e on 19-Aug-2010 at 2:33pm. I do not know anyone from Pakistan nor do any of my friends/relatives are traveling there. The call was disconnected as soon as I received it. I suspect that this' something very serious to be looked into. I request the AirTel authorities to probe into this and let us know what the scam is all about.

Hiii, I have read all the complaints about the scam calls starting from +9230...Today I have also experienced the same at about 9.30 AM from [protected] and speaking some urudu Language. I dont understand anything what he was saying and after a 27 seconds he disconnected abruptly. This call has come in my ZAIN connection and not in AIRTEL. For your information I had updated my Mob # yestarday while applying jobs through JOBSBYREF.com. i am not a airtel costemer i was amazed too see all these mails when googled a intl number i got a missed call from, as i got a call from [protected]. and was alarmed to see that the code belongs to a pakistani number! any updates on such calls?
I am also getting continuous miss call from No.[protected] and other similar number when I check it reflects no number when. Once i checked the number when call was coming. i noted and immediately dialled from another number to know the person who is calling or sending miss call. My 15 rupees deducted from the balance. I added this number in my rejected call list then i am surprised that they are sending miss call.Today i thought to search the code of this number I came to know that this is PAK based. Airtel to take suitable action against the culprits and takeup the matter with concerned department..

I received a missed call at 20:37 from [protected], when i called back a guy said he is a representative of airtel and my no has won 25 lacs and i should immediately call on [protected]. He was speaking in hindi and urdu mixed language. When i asked him that airtel executive must speak in english (i had some doubt on him), he said i should call on the no and he hung up the call.
I think Airtel should do something to this problem when they are getting so many complaints. If no action has been taken so far then it shows that company is irresponsible and doesn't believe in rectifying customer's complaint .

I also got a call from this number as i read all posts and all of them are Airtel users its such a big telecom organization and after so much of complaint they are not acting that means there is some fishy in Airtel might be the call cost which we are getting on calling on these number going to Airtel they can do anything for earning money 15 20 Rs is not a small amount for just seconds calls there is something is going wrong with Airtel and how the numbers are being circulated out of country again question on privacy if a telecom company cannot keep their customers privacy i think we all should leave using Airtel that is the only solution.

I hav got a call from a no[protected] saying i hav won a lottery of 10 lacs from an ipl lucky draw giving me a lottery no 8991 n som stupid n he told me to call on another no [protected] and this guy asks me where u stay and where do u want the money delivered

Even i have received a call from [protected]...when i called, at first nobody picked up, but it sounded as if it is from pakistan...after some times i again tried and some body picked up the call n said he is from mumbai bandra and that i have won 10Lakhs in a lottery taken out in honour of india won world cup 2011...he gave me one system generated number and me to call on that number to take further details...but i dint...have checked that number on google and was shocked to see that my doubt was correct..the number was from pakistan...

Suggestions...please dont pick up these fraud calls..

i called up airtel and asked to log a complaint againt this, but they were not bothered at all..said mam this is a fraud call and you dont need to worry about this and gave me the fake compalint number when i insisted for a complaint ticket to be raised.

If so many people are getting these calls, why doesn't Airtel do something about it? I mean no one feels comfortable getting blank calls from a Pakistan Code. Something should be done about this - at least Airtel should try to figure out what this is about.. Is it some sort of hacking crap?
Blank call from country code +9230
Hi,

On 09/08/2011 I received a blank call from [protected] on my airtel mobile no.[protected] at 10:08 AM.

When i searched on internet that +9230 code belongs to Pakistan.

Please resolve this issue.

    I Registered a Airtel money on my Sim card ([protected])on 29 sep 2011 in airtel show room ascendas taramani chennai.Immediately i got services related to airtel like airtel prepaid recharge,Airtel DTH recharge ,Airtel postpaid bill pay activated.Other services which they claim in airtel money website like movie tickets booking ,using in restaurants never worked.I called up airtel money customer care (12121) trillion times and everyone says your query will be resolved in 7 or 3 working days.But its been three 7working days and 8 three working days from my date of registration till date.People in customer care come with different reasons at different points of time and none really knows what happening.

      How can it possible that they had not the plan of Rs. 349.

        I had enjoyed Airetl DTH (customer Id: [protected]) at Gurgaon for many months and got excellent service. I moved back to bangalore and the registered the request to re-install when I reached Bangalore (2nd week of october).
        The first request was closed without re-installation and also recorded as Active!!
        I had it re-opened and was promised that it will be re-installed by 18th October. The local airtel installation person called me up and said he would come and install. This did not happen. Upon insisting he said that the local cable operator is a goonda and is beating him up so he cannnot come due to fear for his life. Like many people at Mantri Tranquil Apparments, (off kanakpura road, Gubbalala Village, Bangalore 61) i offered to pick him up and drop at his place. He agreed but backed out in the last miniute. This happened twice. I had requested that a person from some other zone be sent. He refused to do that either.

        I had once again called up the customer care center to lodge my complaint. They registerred the same and promised to get back to me. This did not happen. Once again I had reached the customer care and asked for the status. They connected me with the higher up in call center.

        The manager said that they had talked to Airtel Local person and due to the cable operator goonda-giri they cannot do anything about the matter. I was reccomened that I seek disconnection of service. This by airtel DTH customer care itsel[censored]

        First: This amounts to denial of service. I have purchased the connection and have every right to enjoy it!!

        Second: How can a large organization like airtel (which has seen much bigger socio political problems while rolling out telecom towers) be cowed down by a petty criminal ??? is this not part and parcel of the cost of doing business !!!

        Third: I am getting SMS from airtel that the connection is dis-connected since I did not renew the membership!! how would I when the system itself was not installed !!

        The complex has about 1200 residents and 3 more are coming up which will have another 2000 families moving it. I am surpised that local airtel DTH executives are putting the business sense ahead of this petty issues and instead willing to loose customers esp in these economic times!!!

        Someone higher up needs to seriously look into this matter and address the same.

            I am a pre paid customer of air tel since 4 yrs. My air tel pre-paid tel no. is [protected]. On 31 Oct 11 at about 17.50 hrs I received a phone call and i picked the call. The call was from air tel helo tunes and all of a sudden I got msg from AK 54888 that thank you for choosing hello tunes you have been charged for Rs.30 for 30 days. like this another sms for Rs 15 for 90 days. Total Rs 45/- has been deducted from my talk value.After receiving the sms I also came to know if you want to stop you can do it by dialing[protected]. Within second I dial to the aforesaid no and stop the service. But what is this. Without giving a moment and without selecting any dial tune how air tel is deducting Rs 45/- from my talk value. Sir , I am a faithful customer of air tel since 4 years. Donot cut my talk value without my fault. Pls refund my talk value immediately. I am sure you will help me. I am also sure I will be a part of Air tel world in my future days.

            Airtel — regarding talk value

            There is complain regarding my Airtel mobile number [protected]. This number comes under Life Time Validity offer. It is working properly but whenever i want to recharge on this particular number with top up value then i have got less top up value as compare to another one life time always. I have already complaint two or thrice times but no any kind of response get from Airtel side yet.i don't know what is the problem behind it but most of time customer care executive spoke like "it will be solve within a 2-3 days". they every time ready to bluff with our faith.             Airtel — talk value deduction

            Airtel is now indulged in the fraudulent activity as they are deducting my talk value without any activation or call. I am completely fed up with this company..Believe me this company is nothing but a fraud who suck the blood of the common man. I am changing my number but appealing all people to switch this brand ASAP to prevent fraud.....
            my airtel prepaid no., is [protected]. my port id no., is AT 181158. After request of my portability you are provided to me an offer. i.e., airtel to airtel 20p/minute .Airtel to other network 40p/m. But i have sent request to reduce the tariff as airtel to airtel 10p/minute and other network and landline 30p/minute.my reference request is CWRCH[protected]. you have not change my tariff plan yet. so i feel uneasy to continue with your network. IF you will not accept my request I AM READY TO GO TO ANOTHER NETWORK IMMEDIATELY. send me reply at the earliest.
            My airtel prepaid no is [protected]. In order to avail full talk time I use to recharge for Rs 333/- at a time. After making few calls I receive intimation for recharge. And soon I find all outgoing calls are barred. Reasons I did not know. For verification I recharged again for Rs 333/- and started recording the call time. Prior completing total talk time 40 minuits I received the same intimation and burred further out going calls. Finally I stopped further recharging and now planning to change the service provider

              Within days after taking the connection I got a call saying that SIM was not registered in my name and phone will be disconnected from next day. I bunked my office and rushed to the office and submitted my proof along with my friends
              After 2 days I get another call saying that my mobile will be disconnected because of the SIM being registered in my friends name. Again I had to call nodal officer and get into call for around 30 mins and finally resolved the issue (only temporarily)
              On friday (28th Oct) again my outgoing facility is barred. Reason a supposedly Televerification call came to my mobile (I did not receive anything as such) and I could not answer it and hence the phone connection will be terminated. I came to know of it at 7 PM on a Friday. I cannot call Nodal Officer or Appellate Officer as they are unavailable from then. Customer Care people are too arrogant and stubborn. I cannot opt for MNP also right now as my 3 months with Airtel is not yet done.
              I sent lots of mails to both appellate officer and nodal officer but in vain.
              Immediately after raising concern over consumer forum I get a reply from nowhere saying that they deeply regret the inconvenience caused rather than a solution to the problem.
              I deeply regret to say that Airtel's appellate officer also could not solve the issue rather they keep on telling about a HYPOTHETICAL TELEVERIFICATION call all time. But from the beginning I am telling the same that I did not get any call and you people least care of what I say is what I feel. From morning I only called to Airtel people and nobody even bothered to call me. Lately I came to know that my number is recycled. How can that happen?
              I asked about the refund of talktime..that also failed and when I asked about it the representative hung up the call. From the very beginning I did have terrible experience with Airtel Karnataka. The only reason why I hung up with Airtel until now was my number was not eligible for MNP yet. Now the hopes are completely lost as my number is supposed to completely barred. Very very pathetic customer care I guess. Never again I will go to Airtel!!

                Hello, I currently have a "friendz" pre-paid plan on my Airtel SIM. I purchased this nearly one n a half years ago. Uptill now, as per the plan, I was having 200 free SMS and 1-p aitel calling local and 50p STD calling activated. But for the past one week I think Im being charged one rupee per SMS and one rupee per call.

                  I'm a professional in gurgaon and having a Airtel no. [protected] with me . On 23rd July my mobile network went off suddenly and when i contacted the customer care they said ' YOUR MOBILE NUMBER HAS BEEN PORTED ' due to which your mobile services have been disconnected. They neither logged any complaint for this. I kept on following for the whole day and nothing happened . When reached the airtel store in Sahara Mall; they said nothing can be done as it is weekend and its a holiday with the backend team.

                  how can some mobile provider port the mobile no. of a customer wiothout his request or any information. With such a matter how can wwe trust the credibility of a company like airtel
                  How can a service provider port a working mobile nu, ber without any request from the customer . Then they show such a blank face that they cant help for problem
                  I have an airtel landline/dsl since 2005 but I have been having constant disturbance on my line. As these were not rectified, I bought an airtel sim card and gave as my verification details - a copy of my passport, my driving licence and airtel landline number. I also put an additional recharge of Rs 500. (mobile no [protected]) packed Nov 2011 - activated on 20.12.2011. Further, I got a verification call in which I verified all the details. A few days later, I found my number blocked and I was asked per mobile to verify my account, I did so but it was not actiivated. I called again and the lady started misbehaving and started asking me my 'marital details'. This is a sheer breech of privacy. Finally I got someone on the line who activated my calls.
                  Yesterday suddenly my sim was blocked saying that it could not be verified. This is all the more absurd as I had earlier received a payment alert from airtel regarding my landline/dsl though I had not registered my number. Subsequently Icalled the customercare for mobiles but 3 times the phone was put down on me.

                  Finally I called up several other numbers and got the following [protected] (nodal officer Vikrant Pandey. I spoke to a Mr Vijay who said the problem would be immediately rectified. He gave me a REF No: F[protected] and siad I should dial 46081111. I called there and gave them the Ref. They said they could do nothing and that I should call up yet another number [protected]. There I spoke to a Ms Nasim who said that the reason the verification had failed is that the number was to be in the name of a Sunita devi. Therefore I should resubmit my documents to the Relationship Centre and it would be immediately activated. I went to the Centre and the man started misbehaving and when I asked him for his name, he refused to give it. Furthermore he threatened me and told the others that they should make sure the problem was not rectified. He then said it was the fault of the dealer. I subsequently went to the dealer who showed and gave me back the form that had been filled in which clearly shows my name, my landline number and all my documents attested. No reason had been given by airtel as to why the papers were returned. This is pure cheating and a SCAM.

                  I am simply disgusted for I have been a client with Airtel since 2005. Each and every bill has been paid on time.

                  The landline and DSL service has completely deteriorated. The aspect of customercare constantly putting down the phone, giving me appointments on which their engineers will come is not met.

                  As a professional, I have lost work time.

                  As a professional woman, I have been abused and asked about my private life.

                  As an old customer, I have been treated as dirt.

                        I am surprised & astonished that error is caused twice or thrice but this is not error but knowingly the Customer care, Technical assistance etc are making it happen regularly this may be transferring the amount into their accounts & they are using this amount to their or any of their own numbers for their personal use, I want that you to talk to me and expedite & also refund which amounts to Rs.500 to my account immediately today itself I want to know the amount refunded to me with all details. I am subscribed to unlimited plan @ Rs.10/per day excluding this deductions, what VAS deductions which happened since my last recharge under what headings depletion has been done every details of it mentioned I have all the details to cross check so I expect a fair transaction from you please call back & verify that all the automatic depletions have been refunded to my account or else I will be bound to change service provider & forward this to consumer forum, since I am very old customer subscriber of Airtel considering the long association with Airtel & the service provider I hope you will consider that no such actions to be taken. Awaiting for you to revert back telephonic or through mail.

                          My Mobile Number is [protected] airtel provider prepaid service 4 years i am using this Service 3 days back[protected] i find my cell outgoing barred i call to Airtel customer care he saying sir plz submit your ID Proof & photo then we activate your number i saying ok sir i will give to my dealer, next day i submit the ID Proof & photo[protected] after 2 days[protected] is not activate afternoon i tell my cell number problem to Airtel customer care he saying this number is recycled we can't activate your number, i tell how can u recycle my number without any information he saying sir hold the line i will connect to my manager plz ask her i tell ok the manager said i send 1 sms, your not replaying we recycle the number i telling i am not received any message from your side she telling no sir we are help less that's all

                          I think they are taking own Decision

                          My Opinion is before recycling call to responsible person

                          plz don't ignore & plz help me justice

                            We are holding an Airtel Prepaid mobile connection with no. [protected] for over last one year.

                            Its been quite frustrating to deal with Airtel so far as in event of any assistance required or complaint to be registered we only have two contact nos. i.e. 121 or 198 which have no option to get the correct help as desired.

                            While dialling on both the nos. its impossible to reach to the correct person and even after trying more than 20-30 time, if fortunately we are able to reach some one, the customer care officer do not pay any attention to the complaint instead disconnects the line by giving some excuse or the other. Most of time customer care officer uses local language despite our repeated request to use English or Hindi as we do not understand the local language.

                            We have been regularly charging the prepaid connection and noticing that without using the phone even for day the balance keeps on reducing due to some pretext or the other, we recently discovered that due to some unwanted service called 'Hungama' the balance have been reducing on daily basis which was not even subscribed by us at any time.

                            We have made this request in past (when we were lucky to get connection to Airtel's helpline) many a times to remove our no. from any such subscription but till date the same have not been done and balance is being reduced forcefully without our consent for any such service.

                            Its almost impossible to reach any customer care officer in Airtel and frustrating to get the issues resolved of last many days despite hundreds of attempts.

                            We have recently subscribed to the 3G data plan worth Rs. 199 (given 500 MB of free data download), however are surprised to note that every time we connect to the 3G and use even a site like google or gmail our balance reduces whereas this was suppose to be free of cost till 500 MB data usages.

                            We get no update from airtel on data usages and are failing to understand how can 500 MB data be used only on first connection of 3G if it is so happened.

                            It seems to be complete cheating on Airtel's part to deduct user's balance without any reference to them and enable unwanted services on phone and deduct money.

                            After getting no response from any of the Airtel's contact nos. we are raising this as last and final complaint before filing a case in consumer court for intentional cheating and malpractices also violating the applicable TRAI guidelines.

                            Please do consider this seriously and respond within reasonable time.

                            Airtel is cheating by deducting Rs. 1.50 everyday from my prepaid balance. Many times I called Airtel Customer Care to get it de-activated. But after few days it is activated by Airtel itself fradulently to cosume the balance amount.

                            Airtel customercare executives refuses to record complaint for this.

                            At present the Airtel system is such that this can not be prevented by the prepaid customer.

                            This is a well planned tecnique of getting the money from customer in fradulent manner.

                            Can any step be taken against the Airtel Top Manangment for such fradulent practice and can this be stopped by any means?

                            consumer court against Dakshin Media Gaming Solution Pvt. Ltd.
                            Company, the organizers of television game show “HAUZEE” on Zee T.V.
                            to pay me 11, 00, 000/- alongwith interest @ 6% p.a and telecom service
                            provider Bharti Airtel Limited to pay a sum of Rs.2, 00, 000/- as

                            and will also be invited on TV to appear on subsequent show.

                            But later, I never received my money. I kept contacting the related
                            parties for my prize money for about a year. When all my effort went
                            when in vain, I filled a case against Dakshin Media Gaming Solution
                            Pvt. Ltd. Company, its partners, Bharti Airtel Limited and the host
                            Sajid Khan and Javed Jaffery in local consumer court.

                            The case went for seven years, and because the game show was run by
                            so many partners, none of them was ready to take responsibility to pay
                            me money. As a common man this journey was very difficult and I know
                            lot more people who are being ripped off and given false hopes by this
                            channels and game shows and not been paid their money.

                            I wanted to get my prize money back and show these companies and
                            presenters that they have credibility towards the consumers from whom
                            they are making such profits.

                            During this journey I realized that common man doesn’t even know how
                            to deal with this problem so they give up and whom to ask. I want to
                            tell such people not to give up hope and fight back.

                              Airtel digital tv
                              I had purchased a digital tv and got it installed after making the necessary payment. But even after 3 days the services has not been activated despite repeated reminders and phone calls. On calling one of the executives i was told that the services has been given and he is not even bothered to see if there is any technical problem. I am discontinuing the services,
                              i have been a regular customer of tata sky for the past 4 years but never faced a problem.

                                16th Sept 2011: We have filed a request for disconnection and refund of our balance with Airtel DTH. Then we have been told that [COLOR=#009900 !important]technician[/COLOR] will come by 17th Sept 2011. However that day no one came.

                                19th Sept 2011: We have received a call from technician who [COLOR=#009900 !important]confirmed[/COLOR] that he will come at 7 p.m. on 19th for [COLOR=#009900 !important]recovery[/COLOR] of dish etc. However when we reached home and called them up by 7.15 then they rudely [COLOR=#009900 !important]said that[/COLOR] they can not come.

                                20th & 21st Sept 2011: Same story was repeated for the next two days. Airtel DTH is so pathetic that they don’t even have the decency to inform customers that they can not come on scheduled time.

                                22nd Sept 2011: We received a call from Delhi nodal office of Airtel DTH and that person told me that technician told them that we have told technician to not to call us up. Its pathetic! First of all technicians never called us up to tell us that they are not going top come and when we used to call them up then they either switched off their phone or did not pick the call or gave a rude answer that they can not come. However, anyhow that day they came for recovery and we handed them over everything in good condition. We have been told that we will receive our balance of Rs. 3088/- by 29th Sept 2011.

                                29th Sept 2011: As expected from Airtel DTH, we have not received our refund cheque by 29th Sept 2011.

                                30th Sept 2011: To enquire about the same I called up at [COLOR=#009900 !important]customer care[/COLOR] then they said that they don’t have “Recovery Receipt” hence our request can not be processed. Airtel DTH had left no stone unturned to harass its customers.

                                5th Oct 2011: Ultimately I have to send the scanned copy of “Recovery Receipt”. Then I have got a call that I will receive my refund cheque by 20th Oct 2011.

                                20th Oct 2011: I have not received my refund cheque.

                                21st Oct 2011: Now they are saying that they have dispatched it on 17th Oct 2011 via courier and they are again asking me to wait for another 10 days.

                                27th Oct 2011: I have received reply of Airtel Presence but as yet no one had contacted neither did they tell us by when it is expected to be resolved. They are just making vague statements. Since last two months I am just getting vague statements that we need time of 10 days etc etc every time I send an email. They are just not intended to return my money.

                                I am an Airtel DTH customer, subscribed with an HD set-top-box. Trouble started 6 months back, when the set-top-box stopped functioning. Since then I have called Airtel customer care centre about 300 times, registered numerous complaints, but still no resolution. I have paid in advance for the year, so my payments go on auto decrement, despite me not availing of any service. My apartment complex is wired by Airtel & I am unable to switch the operator.

                                I have just started a door-to-door campaign against this fraud company, and I am not surprised that there are many like me who have been suffering in silence.

                                Pls do share with me if there are any redressal forums available for general public against such blatant abuse.

                                  My friends plan deactivate on 26 Oct 2011.Before did not remind me about this.I complaint to customer care they told me tat your friends plan will be activate within 24 hrs but today is 27 Oct 2011 my friends plan not activate.when cal not possible to activate friends plan . . . I am totally dissatisfied with this, they did not inform me before deactivate my friends plan .... I don't know what to do ?please take strictly action on it . .

                                    Hi,

                                    My name is Himanshu and i am using Airtel mobile postpaid service (phone number -- [protected]).
                                    My complaint is regarding extra amount charged against my bill for 3 bills. I had already registered a complaint with Airtel in the month of July regarding the discrepancy in my bill for that month.
                                    I am using one Airtel number from last 3 years now and never faced any issues. Recently i changed my bill plan and also added another number (through mobile number portability) under my group so that all the calls between those numbers should be free of charges (all over India). I had submitted all the documents and followed all the procedure as suggested by their executive.
                                    A few days later i received a confirmation call from Airtel that my bill plan has been changed and new number is been added under your group and all the calls between those numbers will be free of charges.
                                    But when i received my first bill after these changes, there were no benefits given to me on the calls made to that new number. I went to Airtel office to inform them about this issue and i was been informed that there may be some problem. We will check and solve this and it will not happen in next bill. They also asked me to send them the extra amount that is being charged so that the same can be waived in my next bill but nothing of this happened in the next bill. I was being charged extra again and no amount was waived off.
                                    I didn't pay the bill but they stopped the outgoing service of my mobile number twice. I had no option left but to pay the bill amount.
                                    I am continuously following up with them from last 3 months but i am yet to receive a proper solution from them. Each time i visit the office they say that they are looking into the issue, they have sent it to senior management etc etc.
                                    I also called their complaint department but didn't got any solution. I also mailed the details to their Nodal Office and Appellate depts for customer complaints but in vein. There was no proper response from them as everyone was busy blaming me.
                                    The outgoing service of my another number is stopped again as bill amount is too huge and i haven't paid it yet. When called to customer care/complaint dept. they are asking me to pay the bill amount. They are simply pointing finger to me thats its my fault, there is no extra amount charged against my numbers and bill is as per the usage. They are simply asking me to pay the bill amount and are not discussing anything about the amount to be waived off. They are stating that i have not followed the rules but the actual thing is other way around.
                                    I have already paid an extra amount of more than Rs. 4000.

                                    Please help me.

                                      The pre-recorded voice message while I dial 121 my offers and the customer care executive informed me that I can avail full talk time on recharge of Rs 300 (irrespective of mode of recharge - ATM , Online , easy recharge etc).
                                      I had recharged using online mode but I did not receive the benefit of full talk time. I had registered a complaint regarding this ( complaint Number [protected]) to avoid refund the resolution they provided me was that the full talk time is not available in online recharge mode.
                                      The guy who registered the complaint agreed that i should get the full talk time and regsitered the complaint.

                                      Airtel — Full talk tme offer

                                      I recieved a sms by AY-My Offer on 26 sep at 1.18 pm, in which the offer was that, the consumer will get full talk time on Rs 270 top-up and he will get 50 Airtel minutes free valid for 28 days. Same day I did top-up of Rs 270 in evening at 07.58 pm and got balance of Rs 242.79 only. I did not get full talk time still .I tried to contact to custmer care so many times after one hour trying I was attended by Mr. Anurodh he asked me that the remaining balance will be credit within 48 hours. After some time a sms from AD-Airtel came on my mobile in which they said the remaining balance has been credited but that was only a sms no balance credited to my account. After that i tried to contact to customer care but they did not recieved my call.

                                      Airtel — not Refunding full talktime

                                      Sir, I recharge my airtel prepaid with Rs.44.00 on RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL ON[protected] at 07.51PM talk time Rs.37.89. MRP Rs.44.00Tranjection ID [protected],and RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL ON[protected] at 02.04PM talk time Rs.37.89. MRP Rs.44.00Tranjection ID[protected]
                                      But according to massages Rs.44 per FULL TALK TIME rest talk time Rs.6 will provide after 72 hrs later ,after 72 hrs when I didn’t got talk time so I contacted customer care, they promised me to get it on 19/01/2010.Till now I didn’t got it .Now I again recharged Rs.44.00 (RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL ON[protected] at 09.48AM talk time Rs.37.89. MRP Rs.44.00Tranjection ID[protected]

                                        Cant able to control the India's Biggest Network (AIRTEL) does such stupid thigs ...!!

                                        1.Last week I recharged for Rs.250/- only GPRS I activated (Rs.98 plan).Yesterday my balance was just 25 ,plz note no calls have been made from my number.

                                        Airtel Owner Mr.Mittal has bcom rich/richest/Richer ?? by eating his customers money ????? [Beggars are far better]

                                        2.Need to surely mention about their customer service...Woah,what a idea,when they came to know that the mistake is from their side,keep transferring the call to one another & making us fool !!

                                        3.Airtel Relationship Centre , Why do u people have such centre in bangalore ?? To help us or to run away from one place to another ??

                                        Cubbonpet,Bangalore centre was closed, so we tried to reach in Malleshwaram centre, there also closed and went off ??Now where is the place to lodge a complain against Airtel.Its is really waste.

                                        4. Without our knowledge and information , some stupid schemes (Ringtones,Wallpaper,MMS,Daily News) Schemes are activated.?Who wants this plz do to them.Not to others WHO DONT WANT TO WASTE MONEY !!!

                                        Fed up calling customer care and searching the Airtel Showrooms !!

                                        ::NOw comes the FINAL DECISION :: To change to other *GOOD* MOBILE OPERATORS. I will suggest my friends also NOT TO TAKE AIRTEL ANY MORE !!
