Hi (This mail is intended to the CEO of the Bharathi Airtel-Dont know
if it will reach there),
My name is Rajesh Ramanathan, possessing a 3-G Wireless Data card
(Dongle No- [protected]) & am sending this mail to showcase my exteme
dissatisfaction towards Bharathi Airtel.
My trouble started after me getting a call from the so called Airtel
on Thursday(27th Oct'11) asking me if I wanted a wireless service. I
asked for a demo & the dealer send the executive immediatly. I was
impressed with the speed that was shown to me by the excecutive on his
Demo piece. Without a second thought, I gave Rs 1100 & bought a
Dongle.
Since then I am on my mobile phone, calling the technical team, one
after the other. At the start, I was told that I would have the
connection activated within 2 Hrs, which after atleast 4 to 5 calls,
got activated after 30 Hrs.
I still dint leave hope & expected a good service. Once the connection
went live, I started getting a speed of 35 Kbps (I was promised upto
7Mbps by Airtel on enquery) which I was getting 10 years back on my
computer using a Dialup modem.
I started calling the so called technical support. As the agents were
not able to help me, I asked for a supervisor & got connected to one
Parves (Dont know if he is a supervisor-If yes, he dosn't have the
eligibility to even become an agent to sell tomatos), who was of no
help. I spoke to him for atleast 4 to 5 times within a span of 4 days,
and finally he transferred the call to Suresh, who claimed to be a
manager (His contact is [protected]) but was of no use. I spoke to him
3 tmes and out of that 3 times, he promised a callback within 10 mins
& 30 mins respectively but did not call me. Then I had to callback
again & spoke to one supervisor named Aali and another so called the
Big Manager(The person claimed himself as the Big Manager) named Anand
(Gave his contact number as- [protected]), who told that within 24 Hrs
the Speed issues will be rectified & if its not asked to contact his
Top Manager-Murugan. Now the situation is that, the moment I call up
technical centre, no one is picking up the call. Atleast 8-10 agents
disconnected the call on me.
I am attaching the conversation details that I had with Parves & Anand
herewith (Mobile Format).
If action is not taken within 24 Hrs, I will be sending this same mail
to 24/7 News service & NDTV. Up and abouve I will take up this matter
with the consumer court & ensure that Bharathi Airtel gets some kind
of human attraction & a compensation to me for the time I have spend &
the humiliation that I have gone through.
I have 5 Airtel PostPaid connection, including the one mentioned
below. Now I am thinking of wiping out the entire name of Airtel by my
Dictnory.

i am a medical student studying in final year abroad every year i come to india for a two month vaccation. this time i got an airtel prepaid card.i as a medical student assist my father who is a CARDIOLOGIST(HEART SPECIALIST).Even my father has a airtel card but postpaid.three days back me n father got a call frm da hospital and it was an emergency to take down all da required details evn my father n me couldnt handle da situation properly caus e of AIRTEL network and the condition of the patient was gettin worse and worse.we never complined that airtel is asking more money cost of call is more and all but this bad service at the cost of patients life was very bad... the network was full in all mobiles but no calls were being connected. my sincere request please look into this matter seriously
