Dear Sir

I am Neha Jotwani here, I am having two airtel postpaid connection one is of Mumbai circle and one is of Delhi NCR circle, actually early I am in Mumbai but recently I am shifted to Gurgaon due to my transfer to Gurgaon, so I want to close my Mumbai connection and I am trying this from past one month, I called customer care many times they just take my request but not closing my connection, your different customer care executives daily call me and ask me same question that why you want to close your connection, sir I am fed up from this, sir I am on roaming they daily call me and talk to me for 15 to 20mins, they are just increasing my bill not helping me, so its my humble request to you that please close my airtel connection as soon as possible. I am attaching my connection detail herewith.

Sir Please pay your kind attention on this issue its become very complicated for me.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    With reference to the above telephone landline we had sent mails to Airtel since 12th July, 2011 for change in plan or if not disconnection of the present conncection. But we did not get any response. We have continously mailed them since
    then and also called the customer care office but unfortunately we have not received any response. We had clearly informed Airtel that we are in the process of down sizing and will not require the present service whose charges were
    on high side and we had minimum usage.

    Infact to save overheads we have shifted from the earlier premises to the below mentioned premise. We had clearly indicated to Airtel that if they will not give us a solution they better stop the service as it would be better for us to continue with other service providers. But till date we have not got any response. Whenever we have been sending mails we are just getting response that someone will contact us and solve the problem.

    Even though we have asked them to disconnect the landline they have kept the service working which we feel that Airtel is doing on purpose.

    We request if someone could please look into the matter as Airtel is a big company and they will try to force things on us.
    If required we will forward you the mails sent. We are now no longer interested in continuing with Airtel and want to solve the matter once and for all but provided somebody contacts us.

      I have applied for Wi Fi Broad Band connection vide CEF No. 2852024 on 18/09/2011. An amount of Rs.500/- given by me as application/ instalation charges.
      After a week when I checked the status of my application through 44444121, they refused me to provide the connection due to some technical issue, I said "If you can not provide me the connection, that is ok but at least return my money as soon as possible. The told me that money will be refunded upto 10-Oct-2011 through DD. Till date I have not received the said amount inspite of my repeated reminders through 44444121. Each time they give me a request no. and possible date for the refund.

        Airtel is such a big telecommuncation brand in india & has a maximum number of subscriber all over india,but thet are not taking an action over the one rupee extra on the charge of coupon.Customer is already paying so much of the tax on the coupon & beside that one rupee extra is being taken from the customer without any reason.This is going on openly in most part of the city --hyderabad.I have informed this many times to the nodal officer but no action is being taken from their side to stop this.please take an action against them

              Respected Sir/Madam:

              I, Ranjit Chandrasekharan, was using Airtel Broadband Connection (Landline No:[protected] for quite some time now. A few months back, I requested for cancellation and after a lot of effort I got the customer care executive to take down my request and process the cancellation request. Whereupon I cleared all the dues and was awaiting for the executive to come and collect the equipment from home. However, nobody came and I till now haven't got a confirmation letter from Airtel. Instead, I got an sms in my register mobile no: [protected] stating that I need to pay Rs. 178.00 towards bill for last month. I would like to lodge a formal complaint towards lack of confirmation for Airtel regarding my cancellation and I am afraid I will have to suffer the same fate as one of my friends who got a shocking legal notice threat after six or seven months of requesting for cancellation. I don't want to end up in the same pit as him and for the same reason, I would request you to guide me in getting my confirmation.

                Respected Sir,

                I, Ranjit Chandrasekharan, was using Airtel Broadband connection for a long time. Recently a few months, I send in a request to get it disconnected and it was promptly acknowledged whereupon I paid the outstanding amount too. After a month, I get a message in my mobile no: [protected] stating I have to pay Rs. 178. Till now, I have not got any confirmation regarding cancellation and even after repeated requests for the executive to come and collect the equipment, it has fallen upon deaf ears. I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the same and would like to request Airtel Broadband authorities to do the needful by confirming my cancellation. I have had a friend who had to settle the dues because he made the mistake of not getting the confirmation for his cancellation even though he had requested the cancellation almost five to six months back.

                  I have purchased new Airtel Postpaid connection [protected] on 27th Oct, Till date connection is not activated. Every time when i am making confirmation from shop owner, I am getting the only response that, verification executive will come first then only this number will activate. Till date no one has came.

                  After 15 days i came to know that my verification is negative, but no one has came to my house for verification.                     I took one airtel connection and got the Sim having the number[protected] nearly a month back from your Deoghar (Jasidih) outlet. I submitted all the requisite documents and there was no problem with the service. After 3 weeks Airtel withdrew its service without intimating us anything and the sim blocked without showing any reason.
                    It becomes very much difficult for me to make communication within the campus (for our research / project work) of this institution- Birla Institute of Technology, Deoghar, Jasidih.
                    I shall be highly obliged if you kindly see the matter and lift the blockage from the sim so that connection is resumed early.
                    In this connection I am to tell you the following facts that I have a Calcutta based airtel connection since 2005 – the number is[protected].
                    As I have to remain at Birla Inst. Of Technology, Deoghar, Jasidih.                     This generally happens when proper verification of your documents could not take place. For example if you gave an address proof and at that address where you were not successfully contacted then the no. is blocked.
                    You should try to go where you bought the Sim card and inquire about the issue. You may have to submit your documents again. Once your identity and address proof is done then only your no. can be started.

                      This is to inform you that the calls were debarred to/from my AIRTEL prepaid no. suddenly without prior intimation. On calling up 121, I found out that they required documents to be submitted for verification. However let me inform you that last year an airtel employee had come to my residence and had collected the photo copies of the documents for verification. So it is a management error on the part of AIRTEL because it seems those documents were either not submitted or were misplaced by them.

                      Also this happened at a time when I needed my cell the most. I was in the middle of a family crisis, as my dad was admitted to the ICCU. I could not manage to get my documents as I was away from home. So thanks to AIRTEL I was disconnected for 2 whole weeks during this phase.

                      To top it all, the airtel employee I spoke with to ask if anything could be done to help me through this crisis, he banged the phone down saying "do whatever you want to, we can do nothing to help you."

                        I am Using AIRTEL for 6 months..I have put booster for SMS and still they charged me..!! I complained regarding this.they said they will Reimburse but they did not do anything. !! other than making my message free..! I did not mind about 30 rupees....!! because of work load

                        and next I use top up(rate cutter) 10 paise to airtel to airtel and 50 paise to airtel to other services

                        and they cost me 60 paise instead of 50 paise...they are doing this without any intimation ...to customers as well us to the shops(recharge shops)

                        I am not fighting for my 10 paise...they are stealing like this to everyone and People for busy to be bothered about this .,,,.

                        this is total daylight robbery...
                        Please do something regarding this....

                        they have worst Customer care...they charge 50 paise for 3 min...and they put us on hold ...

                        i called customer care...He took and then he said he will forward his line to senior officer but he cut my call

                        again i called he disconnected me again

                        and third time i called someone else took the call...

                        and i spend 2 rupees to talk to them..!!

                        I am so irritated by their reply too..this is the worst mobile service in INDia

                            I would like to lodge a complaint against the company Airtel for Harassment and repeated bill generation after being asked to sever the connection ( Land line : [protected] / Broadband) . The Situation as is:

                            I had asked the airtel customer care people to get my connection shifted to my new address around July 15th. After 2 weeks of not getting any response from them , i called back and was told that the connection cannot be shifted as the new area did not have distribution lines. I asked the customer care representative at that time to please cut the connection and refund the RS 1500/- Deposit taken in the beginning. After that i kept getting calls for bills being pending. I have called the customer care repeatedly and asked them to please cut the connection. Today is the 22nd of november and they still have not done the needful. Instead they are generating bill after bill when their equipment is lying dismantled at my house.

                            I have contacted and complained the concerned guys infinite times. Each time I get to hear that it will be done today but unfortunately its not done as yet. I do not understand why my connection has not been cut as yet. I am sure that my paltry Rs 1500/- a month cannot be so important that they are trying these tactics. It is not as if they will bankrupt if they cancel my connection

                            I would really like this to be resolved as quickly as possible. In case this does not work. Please suggest the next of action.

                              SIR I HAVE RECEIVED A MESSAGE ON MY MOB NO . [protected] (PRE-PAID) FROM AIRTEL AD-54321 ON 21 NOV 11 AT 18:43 STATING THAT U HAVE CHARGED RS.30 FOR USING GET 4 MOVIE FOR 30 DAYS WITH OUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND REQUEST FOR THE SAME.

                              WHILE CHECKING MY OFFER SERVICE IN AIRTEL I FOUND IF RCHGE WITH RS.91 U WILL GET RS.91 TALK TIME AFTER 48 HOURS AND 91 LOCAL AIRTEL MINUTES IMMDETIALY. AFTER RCHGE I GOT ONLY RS.91 TALKTIME FOR NIGTH AIRTEL MINUTE ONLY WHICH IS AGAINST THE OFFER IN WHICH I HAD LOST MY MONEY. ON ENQUIRY FROM CUSTOMER CARE NO STATISFACTORY REPLY HAS BEEN GIVEN BY THEM

                              ON CALLING 111 THERE HAS BEEN A OFFER ON RCHGE 34 U WILL BE GETTING 150 LOCAL AIRTEL MINUTES IN WHICH I RECEIVE ONLY 130 LOCAL AIRTEL MINUTES ONLY.


                              AN EARLY ACTION IS EXPECTED AGAINST THESE TYPE OF WRONG MESSAGES AND DEDUCTION OF MONEY WITHOUT INDIVIDUAL KNOWLEDGE

                                Dear Sir,

                                I would like correct an error by me in my previous complaint........My number was incorrectly entered the correct number is entered at.....

                                1. My name is Nishant Pawar from Rowriah Jorhat Assam.

                                2. I have purchased a 3G Airtel prepaid Sim my number is [protected].

                                3. I have made an initial recharge of rs.450 which will give me a data limit initially of 1.2 GB and I was told by the vendor that after 48 hours an additional 3.8 GB data will be added making it a total of 5 gb of data usage for my first recharge.

                                4. I have also made an initial recharge of Rs. 111 for the purpose of 111 min of talk time.

                                5. I am facing the undermentioned problems with Airtel service.


                                (a) I have not been given an additional 3.8 GB of data for the initial recharge of Rs 450. It has been One week now.

                                (b) I initially used the sim in my 3G Micromax dongle and was able to browse the internet with 3g speeds. However, on the second day when I entered the sim in my Nokia X2-01 Mobile phone which is a 2G handset. Automatically approximately 50 Rupees got deducted from my voice account and 2G GPRS plan was activated automatically without my consent.

                                (c) Subsequently on entering the sim card in My 3G Micromax dongle, I am unable to browse with 3G speeds. I get a miserable 12 Kbps download speed even though the system shows HSPA/UMTS 3G signal available.

                                (d) I have called up on your help line 121, 198, 12134, 12118. No one is ready to help me and they keep telling me to contact the other number. The customer care executives are extremely rude. They have no knowledge about the system involved and cut the call even as the customer is speaking to them with a snide remark 'Airtel mein call karne ke liye dhanyawad'.

                                (e) I did manage to get a request reference number C3GDC[protected] for low internet speed two days back but the problem was not solved.

                                (f) Because lack of any advise from your customer care. I reached a conclusion that possibly my number has got a 2G GPRS plan enabled hence there is a reduction of speed. Hence, I opted of cancellation of my 2G GPRS on 12118 IVR and got a request reference number CMOUD[protected].

                                6. Sir I have been made to run from pillar to post for getting 3G speeds on my 3G prepaid connection. However there has still been no assistance from your end. Because of this delay I have also lost a substantial amount of money as I use the internet for Trading purposes.

                                7. It is requested that

                                (a) My 3G connection speed be restored at the earliest so that i can use it in my 3G dongle.

                                (b) The additional data of 3.8 GB data due to me be alloted at the earliest.

                                (c) The amount of approximately 50 Rupees which was wrongfully deducted by you for activation 2G GPRS on my number without my consent be refunded as soon as possible.

                                8. I have already been harassed by your customer care executives.
                                (Note: There is no Signal problem or dongle problem as my neighbour's 3G Airtel sim card is working fine in my dongle and giving 3G speeds).

                                9. Awaiting a favourable response.

                                  My customer ID is [protected]
                                  I want to immediately recharge/top up my account online and add on few packages and to know my account balance as well.
                                  For that purpose I tried to register on

                                  but each time this message come.
                                  ‘We are unable to process your request. Please try again later. Regret the inconvenience.’
                                  What is the reason that why this message comes again and again when I try to online register as New user?
                                  Why your site does not allow new customer ID to register on your web site???
                                  Please allow me to register online

                                  with immediate effect so that I may recharge my account with new add online in my account section.
                                  Finally my above Customer ID does not appear on my set top box? What is the reason? Please show ID on my box as well.

                                    I had requested for activating DND sevices on our airtel number [protected], by sending sms "START DND" to 1909 on 20th Apr 2010. And immediately I had got an sms from Airtel customer care (121) as follows "Your reference number for Registering on NDNC is S[protected]. All promotional communication to your Airtel mobile should stop within 45 days from now". This message is still there preserved in my inbox. It's now over one and half year now, whereas it should have been activated after one and half month itself.

                                    It is now over one and half year now, but still I am continuously receiving unwanted commercial calls and sms, which is really very unpleasant when I am in an important meeting, roaming or may be at some personal work. Even at mid nights I have been receiving such calls and sms.

                                    If have also complained the same so many times to Airtel customer care but of no use. I have written mails as well to NDNC authorities, but again of no use. Finally I had to be here and lets see, if anything works out or not.

                                    I have checked this number on the NDNC website and still this number [protected] is not registered with them.

                                    Need to why such lapses, in such a technically advanced country???

                                    Airtel — already in NDNC but still get commercial calls and sms

                                    Dear Sir/Madam.
                                    Namaskar.

                                    My Airtel mobile number is [protected] and i have registered for DND vide Registration Number: S[protected] dated: 19/07/2010. But till date I am receiving unwanted and unsolicited commercial calls and SMS. Kindly help stop all unwanted calls and sms.

                                    i am receiving calls regularly almost everyday from these numbers: [protected]; [protected]; [protected]; [protected]; [protected]. Just on[protected] at 10:09 am i received an unwanted commercial call from [protected] and on 31st January at 15:38 from [protected]. I am not sure who are the companies.

                                    the other day i spoke with airtel costumer care. one G. Bhargavi was interacting with me and she is not well versed in Hindi. She told me that my airtel number is registered with NDNC but not activated yet. Though she has noted my complaint under the reference number as above, my problem is not solved yet.

                                    I request you to please please please activate my registration immediately and help me stop receiving commercial calls.

                                      Dear Friends,

                                      Being a Pre Paid Customer of Airtel from 11 years, i am facing the problems of disconnection and that to without information. 2 months back had received sms saying please submit the documents once again for verification purpose, they disconnected my outing and that time had submit the documents saying ok there might be some process. Now, again they have disconnected my outing without information and the 121 people say they had called me and nodal officer of airtel says as per TRAI it will take time of 3 working days. kindly tell me is there is a solution for this.
                                      I am thinking being a customer of airtel from 11 years, i am facing this problem then how about a new customer.

                                      Please stop this nonsense and update the systems with online services.
