My number is [protected].Today[protected] i recharged with 35 rs.for airtel internet(500 mb/6days) and i got the confirmation message also.but each time when i access internet my balance getting deducted (the airtel internet pack did not activated) .I contacted 121 and they said to call 198 but they told there is no 35 rs internet pack.when i asked to reimburse the money which i charged they said it is not possible.

This is Shiva Kumar M.

I was applied for Broadband connection on 6/07/2012. One guy came and checked my area, he said connection feasibility is possible in my area. I submitted my rental agreement, one month plan amount deposit(750/-) and 300/- extra. 300/- for rental agreement. I gave 20/- rs stamp rental agreement, he said 100/- rs stamp paper reuired for that he asked 300/- rs, i gave him.

Same day i got call from another airtel guy he said in my area connection feasibility not available. Same thing i asked this guy he told its available, with in 2 to 3 days you will get the connection. After three days i called him he told wait 2 more days. After that i called him he is not picking my phone. After 2 days i got reference number from airtel for connection. I called customer care for the status they told application was cancelled because of no connection feasibilty. I call this guy from another number hi picked and told with in two days i will get the connection, i explained him i called customer care with my reference number they told connection feasibiltiy not there. He said i am in meeting i will call you with in 10 mins, after 1hr i called him again he not at all piking from this number. After two days again i called him from another number i introduced my self and he i am in meeting i will cal you with in 10 mins, after that i called him around 30 to 40 times he not at all picked, this is worst services i faced from Airlet broadband service. This is really consumer iritation.

But he said his name is Naveen, after seeing his id card only i get to know his name is Rajesh. (Like this also they are cheating the customers),

    Sir,
    This is bring into your kind notice that, today i had very bad experiance from your collection agent,
    i dont know his name and his mobile no is [protected] . today morning he called me and shouted with using very dirty low end words , i didnt expect this type of collection procedures from the company like Airtel,

    some days before call center persons inform me about the outstanding bill( mobile no: [protected] ) and i was arranged to pay the biil by easy recharge at kollengode palakkad dist, but the dealer who is friend of me told that he doesnt have enough balance to charge so he will charge for rs 1000 and remining will be charged by comming days,
    then i go to thirupathy for the pillgrame when i came back actually i forgot to inform my dealer to recharge the balance because iam using another number. The aitel number which i used only for the standby purpose and normally my another mobile number bill comes arround Rs 2000 to 25000 . so i was uncared about your 500 to 800rs bills.
    Most of my airtell bill was computedly paid after two or three months,but no bill is unpaid, that you may check on your systems
    On today morning the agent called me and said that, he thought that iam a gentelman and now he understand im not and misbehaved me , that time i said to dont call me again im not interested to talk with him. mean while he used the very dirty words and he said he knows how to collcet money
    i dont know, is this is the collection procedure of airtel mobile, if not please inform the status at the ealiest otherwise iam pressured to complaint to police dept: as well as to the consumer forum towards the agent and the company

      I am a user of airtel number which is [protected]. I have applied for MNP in august after which i received a call from the airtel executives. I didn't migrated to another network because they offered me 10p/min local airtel to airtel for 6 months which was feasible for me so i agreed to their offer.
      But after sometime my few local airtel calls were charged .5p/sec which was not according to the commitment made by them. I made my first complaint regarding this on 4th sept for and they promised me a call back within 48 hours which i didnt get so i again complained on 8th sept to manish and i was informed that my complaint wasnt registered and now he said it is now noted down with the complaint reference number CWRCH[protected] and i was again told that a call back will be arranged in 72 hours but nothing happened.

      So i again complained to an executive Jitendra with reference number CBNRA[protected] on 17th Sept and he said he'll definitely get me a call back within a day but he didn't do it.
      Then i did that again to Virender with reference number CMBNR[protected] on 21st Sept and again the same things happened.
      So i thought of complaining now to higher authority of my zone, the Appellate officer o[censored]P west zone.
      I got the number from the website which was +[protected]. I called that number and i got the message this number doesn't exist.How come they have put wrong information on the net.
      That is a very big irresponsibility by them.
      I tried many times but i got the same information.
      So with no other option left i had to complain to the Appellate officer of Delhi zone. I made a call on 25th Sept and i kept my prob in front of them and they promised me a call back within 5 hours but they didn't do. After 5 hours i made a call again then they asked for 2 hours but of no use and by that time it was 6pm so i had to stop.
      Next day i again called up and told them what they did to me so the officer forwarded my call to the UP west zone appellate officer Arpit.
      Up till this date my problem of wrong deduction was continuing. I told him everything i faced and he said that the wrong deduction is due to the night pack and its not wrong.
      He said for 24*7 you will be charged 10p/min but since you have activated the night pack on your number which gives you 5p/min and in the transition state of both the pack its obvious that you will be charged .5p/min and its logical.
      i told him if anyone on this earth says that its logical and understood i will take my complaint back and if this has to be there why wasn't i informed when i was given this scheme and even i asked whether there are any conditions in this pack and i got the reply no....
      And still if this what is by the company why wasn't I told when i contacted so many times to the customer care??
      He agreed with me that it isn't logical so he forwarded my complaint and asked me 48 hours more time and i agreed.
      But till date i haven't received any call back and even more than 165 Rs has been deducted and more than 25 Rs has been wasted on calling to Appellate officers.
      So i again applied to MNP and i again got a call from them few days back and i told them about my problem and he gave me a silly reason that since i was using promo balance at that time when i got my balance deducted so i told him that i every time use the promo balance. I never get my number recharged with the main balance so why doesn't it happen always.
      i don't how such responsibilities can be done by such a big company. a lot of my time and money is wasted on all this. Its almost 2 months over and still nothing impressive has happened so far. So i will look forward for a good and strict decision plus a handsome compensation for all this.They treated me very badly when i tried to contact them.Their customer care executives are good for nothing they don't even know how to interact with the customer.
      I sincerely request you to please have a look at it and take a decision as soon as possible. I will be highly thankful to you.

      Dear Concern,

      First of all, would like to confirm you that, I am contacting you through details updated in your web portal!

      I had applied for the broadband connection in the last week for the address ‘A-8, plot no.168, street no. 11, Mahipalpur, New Delhi-110037 or opposite street no 16, Rangpuri, Mahipalpur’. Then after, I got a call from Mr. Dinesh (Area Delegate) and he has confirmed me that Mr. Puneet will contact me soon for the same.

      After some time, Mr. Puneet has contacted me for the same. And, after final conclusion, next day, I had made a payment of rupees 500 (deposit amount) + rupees 150 (documents preparation), copy of ID proofs (DL and Pan Card) & 1 photo has been mailed (attached mail fyr) to Mr. Puneet for the same. Then after, he has given me assurance that my connection will be installing on Tuesday i.e. on 26th June. But, unfortunately, not even my connection has been installed in-fact, contact number of your authorized person of Mr. Puneet is going switch off constantly. Furthermore, I complained in your customer care department against complain number 17812018 for the same. Your customer care department has confirmed me that, it will take 3 days of time to get resolved this problem.

      But, now it’s just completing 10days, and very regrettably, there’s no respond form your end.

      No doubt, Airtel is really big brand in this pasture; but, this kind of issue is really not acceptable. In fact, this shows a very diverse portrait of Airtel which is set behind in your souk image. This is really very very disgraceful for Airtel that as like these types of very pre-set planning, Airtel are making fool to the common peoples.

      Respective concerns are requested to look into this issue and sort-out the same very soon. Required details are as below mentioned –

        My Airtel Customer ID # [protected]. My connection has been disconnected after making 10 calls. But my money has not been refunded. I am trying to contact the customer service dept for last 3 days.My calls have been disconnected 5 times and then I was promised by Kiran Kumar that my chq will be sent in a day on Oct 25,2011 and then she would call me in 24 hrs. But I have not received a call till date(Oct 27,2011).I called again and spoke to Angelina who said She would call me in half hour at 12:00 PM and its 3:30 Pm now and I have not received a call yet. Then I spoke to some guys who said they will call bein 24 hrs and someone(Ajay) said the issue will be resolved but someoher said they will investigate and cal me back. Its the question of Rs.2314.
        I did not get the refund yet. Everybody promising me a call back but no one is bothered. Today I spoke with Mayank Kumar - Escalation Dept for Transaction ID :[protected]. and he promised me a call back in 20mts and he has'nt done so.

        Where is my money. I am beggar now.

          I have applied for cancellation of my mobile no [protected] one week back still the same is not been address and i have seen excess amount been billed. i have not received tellephone bill for the same. i need to recover the excess amount been charged and there are few hidden chages which has not been informed.

            My telephone no. is[protected]. I have been recieving internet messages from airtel smart tracker saying that "internet usage update" which timly disconnects the internet connection while working on the the internet. Regarding this i have given a complaint a number of times. Still i havent got any solutions to that,i tried cheking my computer and it works fine. If in case im being reminded by this message again i will definitely not pay the bill and u might as well disconnect the internet connection.

              it is to bring to your kind notice that i have a SIM Airtel vide No. [protected]. I have been harrased often by Bharati Airtel by means of activation of Value Added Services without my consent and illegly deducted amount from my account balance. I made complaint to Nodal officer, Appellate officer, Karnataka and they given assurance to not repeat such type of inconvinnance in futrure, but even after their assurance on 25.10.2011 deducted Rs. 50 illegally from my account balance.

              Please do needfull at the earliest please

                My Name is Gagan Mittal. I had baught an Airtel Digital TV DTH connection on 15th October. I had bougt it online from the website of Airtel for Rs. 1590.                     I done 500/- Rs recharge before 5 days and then they said that currently server is down so i will get the recharge messageafter some time but i didn't get any mas or balance yet. I pay money 500/- rs at that time but now i didn't receive any recharge from Airtel service provider at Gandhinagar Sector-17,
                    And if there are any problem in the server then they have the guts that they tell me that sorry we didn't complete your recharge but they take my money silently and didn't provide recharge.

                    Now diwali holidays is running so i didn't go the shop to ask further inquiries and now i am out of the state so how can i get help form any one.
                    so that i post my complain here.

                    you should consult the person who took money from you for recharge. if he had charged successfully he would show you transaction id. it seems that the guy took the money from you for recharge, either did not recharge or tried to charge but failed. best thing is to recharge with small small amount rather than by big amount in one go.

                      Airtel Communications — new sim card

                      I purchase a new moblile and purchase a new no.I used the sim in new mobile.The mobile show some error.i complaint for that to retailer.The retailer say it is not sim fault it is mobile fault.I checked the mobile for in nokia care centre.they send the mobile to the company for repare.I used the same sim in another phone. the same error shows in other phone.I checked the sim in three mobile.In all mobile the sim shows the same fault. I contact the retailer to change the sim He send me to contact the airtel whole seller.He asked me to pay 200 Rs. for changing the sim.
                      i have purchsed the sim on 22/8/08

                      I, Dr VINAY KK HAD TAKEN A NEW AIRTEL POSTPAID CONNECTION([protected])(MANIPAL ONE) ON 12/07/08 AFTER WHICH VERIFICATION WAS DONE THE NEXT DAY.BUT TODAY EVENING MY OUTGOIN AND INCOING CALLS WERE BARRED AND MY MOBILE DISPLAYS A 'SIMCARD VERIFICATIOn FAILED' MESSAGE.
                      I HAVE GIVEN A WRITTEN COMPLAINT/REQUEST LETTER AT THE AIRTEL OUTLET(AIRPORT ROAD.REFERENCE NO 2227086). PLEASE ACTIVATE MY NUMBER IMMEDIATELY AND ARRANGE FOR REVERIFICATION.

                        I have been using your service (Airtel mobile, Assam) for last 5 years, but from the last 3 months money have been continuously deducted from my account for unwanted value added service, which was automatically updated to my number ([protected]) without any prior notification. Previously couple of times I had given complains to your customer service adjectives by mailing and over telephone, but still do not get any comprehensive solution.                         Airtel — unwanted Value Added Service

                        Sir,

                        a one more action is to be taken from the side of indian govt to favour the mobile phone subscribers, different companies are here with us; generating money and forwarding a big ration of that to foreign contries.

                        in form of additional services they people are deducting our balance as per thier wish and business mood.


                        a real life example i am forwarding through this mail.


                        My Name is Mohd Qamar a subscriber of airtel upwest circle, ph no [protected] getting deduction in my main balance as value added service which has not been requested from my side and already made calls on 16th dec 2010 and 21 dec 2010 to stop the same; still the service provider is deducting the 3 rs/day amount by forwarding a message of bolly spice.


                        i need justice from honourable india judicial; a compensation of mental torture & all deducted amount from 16th dec 2010 (deducted against vas).

                        requested for quick response and to offer the right of customer grievance for the people of my India

                          Through this letter I would like to draw your attention towards the serious issues that I am facing with AIRTEL.

                          It was my bad luck that for my company (Apurva Creations Pvt. Ltd.) I applied for 3 connections of Airtel (2 Voice and 1 DSL) which I always assumed was a very efficient and customer oriented company. I had applied these connections somewhere during last week of August. For the same initial documentation was handles through Airtel Executive Mr. Ravi[protected]. The person who came to collect the form was clearly told that since this is company we would require all the three numbers is serial order which he confirmed to.

                          After 15 days an engineer came for installation of these numbers and when I asked about the numbers he gave me all three different numbers to which I rejected the installation. Finally Mr. Pravin Sharma (Territory Sales Manager – [protected]), Mr. Pushpender (Territory Sales Manager – [protected]) and Mr. Amrish Chaudhary ([protected]) came into picture and requested me to take voice numbers in Series and a different number for DSL to which I agreed. After almost a week finally they offered me 0120 – 4123701, 4123702 (For Voice) & 4118841 (For DSL). I confirmed these numbers and an engineer came for installation of the same around 16th September. He called from all three numbers on my mobile and confirmed me the numbers. After installation I got a Welcome call for 4123702 & 4118841 but not for 4123701. To this the engineer said that there is some problem from backend and you please take the welcome call for the other two numbers and for the third number it will take an hour or two at the max to activate it. He promised me that there is no issue of any sort and I can go ahead and get my stationary printed and circulate the number as well.

                          Few days passed and when the number[protected] didn’t get activated I started calling Pushpender and Amrish on continous basis to get the status. Initially they always said that they have mailed the concerned authority and it will be activated in a day or two then after few days Amrish stopped taking the calls and Pushpender told me to switch over to some other service provider as quality of service of Airtel was not like before and nothing can be done as this number has been allotted to someone else. To which I replied that since I have already expended around 25000 Rupees on stationary and all of it would be wasted. He said that even if I come to Sec – 58 office of Airtel it won’t be of any help.

                          Then on 26th September I finally called up 198 and registered my complaint (Reference number – 4716782) and narrated the whole incident to which I was promised that action will be taken and line activated before 4th October – 9:32 AM.

                          Same thing again happened never got a single reply from Airtel – again called up spoke to senior (Reference #[protected] was promise matter will be escalated and within 24-48 hours will get a feedback. Nothing happened.

                          Again called up spoke to another so called senior (Reference #[protected] same reply wait for another 24-48 hours and matter will escalated and sorted. Again nothing happened.

                          I wonder how many more days will pass like this and I will be at the receiving end.

                          And the best part is that till date I have not even got a single call back from AIRTEL but only I have been calling up.

                          Now I realize that your sales manager Pushpender was right when he said that quality of Airtel’s service has downgraded and I should look for some other service provider. Being an insider he knows the true status of company.

                          If this is actually the case and if it takes these many days just to activate a number then I wonder what service Airtel would be able to provide me in near future. I believe 25 days were more than enough to sort out any backend problem they had.

                          So if you are able to give me an answer on above and rectify the problem then please let me know else I would like to get all my three numbers deactivated and return the handsets and Router purchased from you with a refund of connection fee paid and the charges that I had paid for my stationary.

                          Hopefully will get a reply or call back from Airtel now.

                            Dear Sir,

                            My residence telephone number[protected] is not functioning more than a month. The complain request no. 4113490 was also raised on 15th Sept, 2011 with Bharti Airtel Ltd in this regard. Whenever we are enquiring with Airtel customer support team, they are giving a standard reply that due to some technical problem, it would take some more time to resolve , which is continuing more than a month. During this period , the monthly bill got generated twice and also cleared ( value Rs. 1177/- & Rs. 800/- ) as per the advice of Airtel customer support team. They told us, if we don't clear the bill, the service request would never be addressed. Now, even after that, the telephone line is still inactive.

                            We would like to seek your help to resolve this issue. Either they restore the telephone line , else they give our money back so that we can approach a different service provider.

                            Request kindly advice.

                              I had posted a complaint regarding Airtel deactivation/activation of 3G Services on 20.10.11 Now, see what has happened. On 17.10.11 after speaking to the Airtel Appellate Authority in the afternoon and late evening I sent a mail to customer care,appellate authority etc. that I will not be using outgoing services etc on my mobile nos.[protected] & [protected]till a resolution is given to the 3G complaint. On 19.10.11 at 12.16hrs. I received SMS that my unbilled amount is Rs.498.43 as on midnight of 17.10.11 Today on 22.10.11 I received a SMS at 11.58hrs that my unbilled amount is Rs.513.43 as on midnight of 20.10.11 I never used my mobile only incoming calls were attended which are FREE LOG AVAILABLE ON MY NOKIA N8 PROOVES THIS ANY PERSON FROM AIRTEL CAN COME AND CHECK, BUT STILL UNBILLED AMOUNT KEPT ON INCREASING. On mobile no.[protected] there are no changes in the amount A mail regarding this has been sent to the concerned but as usual neither any acknowledgement nor complaint no. has been received by me.                               My mobile nos. [protected]/[protected]. Airtel customer care executives do not reply properly, they connect you to their seniors who at times never answer. When complaint lodged with the Appelate Authority they say within 03 days they will solve the problem. But after 03 days 72hrs. no result. THIS AIRTEL IS DOING WITH NINE YEAR OLD CUSTOMERS THEREBY GIVING THEM THE DEEPAWALI GIFT. If contact details of High Officials are available customer can contact them and inform them what is going on at the lower level. These people at Airtel are making a fool of customers. They at Airtel are always right and customer is always wrong. ONE THING IS SURE AND I HAVE EXPERIENCED IT "YOU OPT FOR MNP" THAN SEE YOU WILL BE GETTING REGULAR CALLS THAT WHY YOU ARE OPTING FOR MNP AND WHEN YOU TELL THE PROBLEM THEY ARE IMMEDIATELY READY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM EVEN GIVE YOU REFUND FOR ALL THE CHARGES FOR WHICH YOU WERE COMPLAINING.........WHY??                                 I got phone call on 25.10.2011 from the number [protected] and the person informed me in Hindi that I got lottery of 25 thousand and further asked my bank account number as required for transfering the amount. I just verified the same with customer care over the said offer later and got calrified there was no such offer and call actually from pakistan. I again called up the particular number and told him that this is actually a fake offer. Then, he started telling what customer care people knows and we call directly from head office. Then, I just informed him that I am decided to lodge a police complaint against you as it is fake call and later disconnected the phone call. After that, there was no further phone call from that number. Beware of these fake calls.

                                  Last I recharged Rs.750 for data and Rs.50 for normal balance.

                                  After that airtel has started deducting my main balance without any reason.... saying I am downloading hello tunes, subscribed to monthly hello tunes, or I've clicked some flash message. Boss... I've been using airtel prepaid for last 8 years and I very well know, what is VAS and how it gets activated..!!

                                  AirTel — Airtel are robbers

                                  Airtel are robberas bcoz they reduce amount from the balance . Their service is very poor . Please do not purchase airtel cards It is very expensive . Range problems too much .I recharged of Rs 300. Then I got full talk time but suddenly they reduced to 230 Rs.They are cheaters our govt must take some strict actions on irtel.It has happened many times.

                                  I have a cell number [protected] on which Airtel would always go ahead and put VAS services without my authorization. This has happened multiple of times and I have called up to complaint about this multiple of times. They would add the VAS services and then deducted the amount as if its their father in laws property. I had a word with my friends too who are using Airtel and my family members too are having this kind of issue. These day light robbers just rob their customers in lakhs, mind me if I am wrong. Even if one lakh customers are given a VAS service with out their concern or authorization, just thing what kind of money they are making. The biggest day light robbers sitting out there robbing the common people who slog to just sustain their life. Out of the one lakh customer only one thousand might call to cancel the service or to get their money refunded back. Government does not do any thing about these kind of robbery that is going on, as you know government itself is only concern about the major international issues rather then their own home issues. Please do let me know how do I get this issue resolved. Please advice me how to penalized the company for cheating the customers. If there is a way to resolve this issue i would be interested. I don't want to spent money to get this issue resolve.

                                  today i made a call to airtel customer care and talked with one of the best executives called soumya at 9.30pm.with the grace of alimighty god i was rightly informed about the day light robbery of airtel at the right time. Infact i have already activated one month internetpack by paying 98.i hav been using that and i hav got the validity upto 20th of april and also i have got 670mb left frm 2gb.

                                  Let me come to the point. Money is taken from my credit for using intertnet. Why airtel is taking money for using internet.if airtel wants to take money from my credit then why did i recharged for 98?what is the use of that pack?this is what i am calling as day light robbery of airtel.

                                  I do need to getback the money . Its around 100rupees.how can i believe airtel?how can i recharge for 500. I am bit worry abot this because airtel hasnt felt any shame to take money from my credit for no reason.airtel is cheating the customers. People are chaeted by the airtel like how am i cheated.

                                  I do need to get my money which is stolen by airtel. I have been waiting for your reply as soon as fast.please dont take more time to clear this trouble

                                  Am also facing the same issue since I have activated 2G in my mobile. Often I get a message saying 99 rupees has been deducted. I called up airtel customer care to deactivate my 2g, they say their server is down, call after 1 hour. I call customer care to ask why 99 rupees has been deducted, they say they will arrange for a call back with their supervisor. But no one calls back. Their customer care menu options are devastating...



                                  I use prepaid service, guess I should not at all do top-up... these guys suck all my money...

                                    AirTel — Activation of caller tunes

                                    I Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal resident of GHAZIABAD having a perpaid mobile connection of AIRTEL on my name for last 7 year and recently on 25th of October AIRTEL has started an caller tune facility on my connection without my request. In response to this I have launched an complaint on 25th October to deactivate the caller tune facility and to return back the reduced amount from my cell account. My complaint number is[protected] and the complain has been logged by the customer care executive named as Mr. Jitender and he asured me to deactivate my caller tune by 30th of October with that the amount which they have reduced will be credited to my account.
                                    Today 30/10/2008 I have talked to Mr. Gaurav (Customer care executive) he has aslo assured me for the same but till now no action has been taken and at 12:00 today evening the new day starts and they will again reduct the amount from my account for the next month.
                                    So please take an appropriate action in the same regard to deactivate the caller tune facility on my connection and t0 reimburse the deducted amount. I want you to take an immediate action for the same. And I hope you will revert back to me with some solution to my complain.
                                    I got a call from AIRTEL saying that they have selected my no. +[protected] as one of the lucky no. (I sure don't feel lucky for being charged unnecessary money) and will activate caller tune on my no. for charge Rs.15 for it, though I never asked for it. I personally detest caller tunes and have no intention of activating one for this no. (mentioned above).
                                    I started using AIRTEL cause I found it's cheaper and provides more beneficial schemes like 1 paisa/sec and low priced NATIONAL SMS. I have been really happy with the service up until now and would like to feel the same in future.
                                    Please see to it that I don't get picked for such offers as caller tunes at subsidized rate.

I send more than 100 s.m.s in a day to my friends. This is the first time I send more than 100 s.m.s in a day. But after 100 s.m.s they charged 1 rupees for each s.m.s and in this process approx. 75 rupees are deducted from my account. I did not get any alert message or information about using bulk s.m.s in a day. I talk to customer( Mr.Kapil and Subhash) support at 198 number but they did not give me any satisfied answer. Infact they told me that they have send a alert s.m.s regarding this but i did not get any such message. Please verify that why they telling lie to the customer if they are doing their duty properly. It is company's responsibility to give proper information in advance to the customer and do not keep customer in dark. I request you and the company to refund my balance after proper enquiry.

I have no any Value Added Service started against my No [protected] but still they are deduct amount for VAS from my main balance and while I call to customer care they always tell me that all services has stopped against my No [protected] and again a Value Added Service they start automatically from there side, the last deduction amount history of VAS are as under.
