Concern 1: Airtel Digital Setup box was replaced within 2 months of purchase, the onsite engineer replaced the setup box with a Faulty one(front panel broken) and had assured us that he would replace the setup box with a good one in days to come. We have made calls to Airtel Customer care few times post that and nothing reallly came out of those calls. We had also raised concerns on poor video quality and this concern got lost in the blackhole.


Few weeks back Airtel Remote stopped working , an engineer was dispatched to look at the issue and the engineer found out that the setup box was faulty. The engineer then found our that HDMI port was not SET at all and this was the reason for the poor video quality. He also noticed that HDMI Audio port was not working at all. The initial engineer who came to replace the setup box for the first time had realised that the HDMI Audio was non functional and had simply pushed the issue under the rugs and had setup the Setup box for Normal Video and Audio. THIS MEANS THAT WE DID NOT HAVE THE HDMI VIDEO QUALITY FROM DAY1 we installed the Airtel Setup Box. WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO COMPENSATE THIS LOSS TO US.




CONCERN 2: Airtel Broadband Franchise Representative had promised us that he(Sharan) would get the 999 plan changed to 600(incl service taxes) in the second month. He had however requested me to pay 999(excl ST) for the first month. I understood this FRADULENT activity when i got my BROADBAND BILL for the second time. The bill was still showiung 1111 and the Airtel Broadband Franchise Representative Sharan has was not been picking up calls from me in these few days.

    I am using Airtel Iptv+Broadband Combo from past 2 years. But due to unavailability of good plans in Iptv+Broadband Combo, I opted to get this connection disconnected in the month of Feb-12. Here is when the whole story starts. I started receiving calls from Airtel asking that why I want this to be disconnected. I told them that the combo plan that they are offering have a speed capping at 5GB which is not sufficient for me & I told them that if they can provide a combo plan without capping than I can go ahead and keep this connection. After that I constantly received calls from the Retnetion Department which keep on telling me about the different plans for Broaband but they said that there is no Combo for IPTV & Broadband.

    After a day or 2 I again received a call from Retention Department that the best they can offer is a broadband only plan of 1699/month in which they will provide 4Mbps speed and capping at 75 GB and for IPTV, I will have to pay 299/month extra. After confirming the plan offered to me twice I opted for this plan.

    The main problem starts here...As promised by the retention department, my brodband was migrated to 1699 plan successfully but my IPTV was not started. When I called customer care for this, they told me that my existing IPTV account will have to be suspended and a new IPTV account will be created over my Broadband connection and this will take 3 working days and I will have to pay a sum of Rs. 750 for reactivation. After some heated argument with the customer care gut over the payment of the Reactivation fees, I agree for that and waited for 3 days but no response. I again called customer care and now the guy told me that I will have to pay Rs. 500 for activation and it will be done in 3-5 working days. Again I agreed and waited for 5 days but still no response..I again called customer care and now the guy told me that because of some reason my earlier request was not forwarded so he will log a new complaint and it will take 5 working days and I will have to pay Rs. 100. The request number of this complaint was 13171336.

    Today after 7 days when I called customer care again, the guy named Sanjay with id 94392455 spoke very rudely and said that getting my IPTV activated is not possible and it will not be done. When I told him that all other guys said me different things he said that I am not concerned with others and said that this is not possible....When I asked him to transfer the call to some senior person he said that I am the seniormost person and will not transfer the call to anybody and even denied providing me the Nodal Officers Name and Email Address....

    I would like the people here to get in touch with Airtel and resolve my issue

      I have purchased Airtel DTH services direct from Airtel. I am using DTH service at Amreli – Gujarat. It's pin code is 365601.

      Since pruchased data I am getting issue realted set top box. My set top box is restarting randomly when i am watching TV. I have compained to Airtel so many times and explain the issue to Airtel as well as his delaer also. Airtel customer care executive told me that they will replace the device if required if it will not work after changed the setting and they have done. After changing the setting of set top box, still i am getting same problem and now and compalin again at customer services desk, but they are not reply me or any response me.

      Could you please help in this case?

      I have all email communication which I have sent to Airtel and his reply. Please let me now, you want to show it.

        i am getting blank calls from this number [protected] its an Air-tel GSM number which i found out. who ever this guy is hes troubling me warning me for stupid thing and harassing me by saying my personal matters. i really don't know who it is because its getting serious. and it is troubling my routines and life. please take some proper action i want the persons name as soon as possible i hope u take it seriously.

          I have bought through IVRS a Airtel digital TV HD type set top box.

          I got message on 20.03.2012 stating my customer ID [protected] and Order ID 1403988. Installation was scheduled on 21.03.2012 by 9.00AM as per the sms message received from Airtel.

          On 21.03.2012 two persons came from Airtel franchise to install the connection at @ 4.30PM. In our building they have common dish for entire building. So from 4.30PM to 8.30PM they tried getting signal but signal was not coming. They got tired of and me as well and they went back stating they will bring instrument to check signal strength.

          Next day another i.e. on 22.03.2012 another set of people came and they told signal was okay and there is problem of HDMI channels having lock. I have two LED TVs one from Sony and one from LG. I had connected LG at the time of installation. I also thought there could be issue with HDMI, so I installed Sony TV and removed LG. Even after installing Sony TV the singal from HDMI was not coming.

          I have brought both TV from Muscat. I was using Sony TV and my friend was having LG TV. We both were using Indian Dish TV set Top Box in Muscat through HDMI cable. There was no issue of transmission of signal.

          Third day another team came and checked and found some problem with LNB. Then changed LNB and singal started coming. With this signal TV was working with AV connection and there was no signal still from HDMI cable. They concluded that TV is problem and the Set top box.

          As I was not at home I told them that laptop is getting connected through HDMI in both LG and Sony then why Airtel is not getting connected. For this they did not have any answers. I think they cannot think beyond certain point. I have seen may cases where in they have changed Aitel set top box due to problem of signal not coming,

          Moreover I contacted their customer care number [protected] on Friday i.e on 23.03.2012. Somebody in name of Ankit received call and stated that he will get resolved the complaint by Saturday evening. Till saturday evening no body called. I call up same number again and asked regarding my complaint status, to my surprise they told that no complaint has been registered. They registered complaint again and gave number 17266211 and asked me to call number [protected] in case of any issue. I asked whether they will come next day as it was Sunday. They told they will definitly come and solve the problem within 24Hrs.

          Till sunday after noon nobody called. I again called same number and informed about my complaint. They asked for address. As pin code was wrong they told hence the Engineer has not come. I was suprised with this answer. I asked them why didn't the concerned person called me on my mobile which was registered with company. They modified the PIN code and again registered complaint No 17283916. It was informed again that the Engineer will call and come before 6.45PM on sunday. Nobody called and nobody came. The number [protected] mentioned in SMS was found to be switched off always. Moreover they gave number of Crystal communication and asked them contact person for resolution. When I called up Crystal communication, the person incharge informed that the building I am staying is not on his purview. He gave me number of one Saran who is responsible for this connection. To my surprise they were the same people who had come for installation and did not have any clue of issue.

          Today on 26.03.2012 I contacted Airtel digital office 42102783. They told that Engineer will be come and resolve the issue before this evening. There was one call from a person and informed that he has told Engineer regarding issue and he will call and come today. Meanwhile there were two called from airtel asking whether issue has been resolved. To my surprise even after telling them twice before regarding wrong PIN code still same mistake was being continued by them. Airtel registered two new complaints today 17305445 and 17308637. Airtel customer care called and registered the complaint. They also sent message stating complaint number 17266211 and 17283916 has been resolved even without any solution. This was last nail to the coffin. I again called up Airtel office number 42102783. They connected me to Crystal communication again and he directed me to earlier person.

          This is going on round and round and I would like to return the box and discountinue my connection. I will also require refund of entire amount taken for installation process. I would request your help for the same

          Complain Detail. Set top box cant get signals at the time of rains. even rains is not so heavy and very little.As I can not get unintrupted and clear service of digital tv.

          i'm unable to view anything on my digital tv as the set top box is not recieving any signal since 24th of nov.i hav since lodged the complaint on its customer care..umpteen times..every time i'm assured that the problem will be resolved shortly and i'm given a complaint no..till today i hav been given 4 comlain no- but my problem has not been resolved till date.now i want my money back as i bought this just 15 days back..

          I was away on a trip to Europe for a few weeks and on returning the reception of several channels was poor and breaking up. Sent an SMS to Help for which I paid Rs 3 but I got the phone call within the time specified but could not speak to the person and when I called back the phone was switched off. I called the call center and the call kept dropping all the time. I eventually sent them an email to which they responded. They have accepted that there is a problem with their channels (due to weather conditions) but though there was an improvement, the situation is still the same. I am paying for an ultra pack and not accessing more than half a dozen channels. How long will this situation continue? Seriously considering changing service providers once my account balance is through. Maurice Thomas

          Thanks for ur mail. But whatever u try I will carry the bad service being provided by ur franchise for ever. I thought that airtel has been giving good service. But it was wrong.

          I had spoken to some other dealer in chennai regarding this issue. He clearly told me that there is no problem in TV. As building is having common dish the frequency of the dish installed and the frequency of set top box will not be match due to which the problem is coming. He suggested me for going for separate dish for this issue. I called up franchise and asked them to provide separate dish for my connection which they agreed.

          Today morning I got a call from one number[protected]. They asked whether my problem was solved or not. I informed that I have spoken to the Franchise to put separate dish for me as building was having common dish, for which he agreed and told me that they will come by 6.00PM and put a new dish and resolve the issue. One more complaint was registered. Complaint number was 17326443. This is fifth time I am getting complaint number and there is nobody in sight who can come and give solution.

          I called up the franchise one Mr. Saran GSM number [protected] (as he was the person who agreed for providing separate dish for me) at around 5.30PM and asked about the person suppose to visit. He told that they are near building and will be there any minute.

          I reached home at 7.00PM and found that nobody has come. I called up Mr. Saran and asked him about the person. He told that the person will be there anytime and will check set top box and show us. When I asked him about the dish he told he is not the one who will be providing separate dish. Separate dish will be provided by somebody else.

          Well I think things have gone too far and there no point in asking for resolution. I would suggest please arrange for the refund of my money. Anyway I have decided to throw this box into dust bin. It is good for nothing

          I am sure that u are not scrutinizing while giving franchise whether they have competent enough or not. I was even more hurt when the franchise guy told me that u can watch is AV since it coming. Then why the hell should I pay for HD set top box to watch in AV.

          I feel nothing less than cheated. I would be expecting a call from ur end tomorrow for refund of my money. Otherwise I will have no other way to approach legally for my consumer protection right. I am not looking forward to any solace mail as i HAD ENOUGH OF NONSENSE FROM UR FRANCHISE.

          Hope u understand the seriousness and act.

            I am Airtel post paid used last more than 9 years & have been paying my bills on time. Though I had network problem but I never thought of changing to other vendor due to my number retention. Have tried for portability but Airtel has declined giving some useless reasons. Still have not complaint. Now they have been calling me for last one month & harassing me for payment of some other user who was ex-employee of my company & not with this company for last 4 years. Instead of calling the user, they are calling other people & harassing others. I request Airtel to stop doing this otherwise I will have to withdraw Airtel services.

            My airtel prepaid mobile no is [protected], i have received unwanted calls from airtel side list of numbers are ([protected]/8, [protected]) i have already registered for DO NOT CALLS but problem is still same. Airtel is not stoping those calls on my number.
            I have voda phone no. [protected] and its alredy regiserd under the DND service for the last 3-4 months, but i am still getting unwanted telemarketing calls on daily basis. I just got a call from [protected].

            Govt should take some action against such type of calls........

            I got a postpaid connection of airtel which is r-cug connection, before one year or ago time i have activated the service of discountinue the unnecessory calls, but after all they often call me for them caller tunes, while i call to customer care they say my service is not activated,
            so before six month i told them to activate my service they said in 45 days the service will activate but still i got calls from airtel, but when ever they call. after them call i callback to c/c but they say will deffenately solve ur problem within 10 days and give them refrence no. them refrence nos are[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected], 17197340, 16880155 and lots of more nos which i havent saved, but I still facing the problem right now.

            I am a user of Vodafone. My number is [protected]. FRom a few days a Airtel number disturb me. The number is [protected]. I want to know who is the person? and where he/she is from.
            Further to my complaint dated 13.01.2009.

            This has reference to unwanted calls on Mobile No. [protected].

            Eventhough, I have not called, I have been receiving the calls from the following mobile numbers since 15 days to confirm whether I have called to them.
            Mobile Nos. : - [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected].

            In this context, I have already made the compliant on 10.01.2009 at Airtel Gallery located Vashi. However, I have not received any positive response. Further, I have also made a complaint on 13.01.2009 at Airtel Gallery located Penunsula, Lower Parel. The representative of Airtel Gallery viz. Sunil Asarani has checked the details of out going call from my mobile and informed that never dailed any above stated number from my mobile and the number i.e. [protected] is allocated me only.

            You are therefore requested to look into matter for stop the unwanted calls from above numbers and also give details of above mobile numbers to find out from where the calls coming on my mobile. Kindly expedite the matter as there is a chances of misusing my number. As a result, I have been humbled and could not know to reach whom to solve the problem.

            You are also requested to give your kind advice us in the matter as we are not receiving proper service in the matter from Airtel.

            from last 3 days i am getting a call from some gift company .first i listen to that call and refuse their gift from onwards dailly al least 25 times or more their different executives are calling me . wht should i do.

            There is a AIRTEL Tower (Harapanahalli Tower) near Nisarga Layout. Sometimes signal from this tower completely disappears and we receive weak, fluctuating signals from far off towers or there is no signal at all from any tower. I have made it a practice to inform the Vice President (Operations) through SMS, E-mail or Phone calls. He used to acknowledge earlier. Now, I think, the failures (and my complaints) are too many. He ignores me. There are many AIRTEL customers in Nisarga Layout who helplessly curse the Airtel service. Some are thinking of changing to other Service Providers. Failure of Airtel signal from Harapanahalli tower seems to be a regular feature.

            This is Christina from Mumbai, its very annoying that your executives call people from users contact history if they due their bill by one month. Actually i got a call from an airtel executive stating that do you Mr. XYZ , that person has not paid the bill yet so please inform that person to do the same. Is it your companies new policy to disturb other user, i told that executive that i was busy and will take to her later on but she didnt hung up her call and was annoying me.. Please look into this and if possible please try not to use user's personal contact numbers. And for your notice she keeps me calling daily and the number from which she called me was [protected].

            We are getting Unwanted Calls from an Airtel Number [protected] which is located somewhere in Mushirabad district of West Bengal.

            The person calls and talks rubbish is unparliamentary language. I have requested the person not to disturb me and my family , but it is to no avail.

            I complained on Sep 8, 2012 regarding unwanted calls. The owner of the number 9629405060 has changed since 2013 and I haven't got any calls after that. I have also spoke with the new owner of the number 9629405060, Mr. Mathi and he feels my previous post is creating issues to his reputation and business. Therefore, please delete that post as the issue is now resolved.

They informed me that its been recycled, this no is very important to me, as it got registered with all my online banking and government records.               After some time, we will get a message that, "since we haven't heard anything from you, we hope it is resolved"
              As expected, till now no response. No info on status also.

              Till now no reply, because they don't have answer. This is not the 1st time, I am facing this problem.
              Last 3 weeks, visited ~20 times Airtel showroom, called atleast 20 times customer care, called 6-8 times nodal officers. No one is giving any info.
              Airtel is the worst service provider, advice people not to take it at all.
              Excellent Airtel!, silently removed the most common misleading comments 1) Looking into it 2) Resolved.
              I am checking daily for my phone number, 2days back find out that, my number is given to another person.
              Whole Airtel company should and will collapse.
              happened to me also.. even though they have chance to re-activate the number they are not doing it..

                I never think that i get such worst services from a brand like Airtel. I start face the problem since first day when i upgrade my normal setup box to HD Recorder. I book it through online and make the payment through CC(TRS ID[protected] on 21st March'12 and team will replace the same on 22nd of March and since that the services are not available on my Setup box i don’t know how many call i make to customer care and Nodal officer[protected],[protected] and after two days it will start working and from yesterday the setup box is not working again i start the follow up with customer care ,local help from Airtel[protected] ,and nodal officer every one told me the same thing switch off the setup off and etc........it’s not working from last two days rather than providing any resolution.

                I think i make a big mistake to expect the batter services from Airtel.

                Now i want to get my money back rather than their services.

                  I am using AIRTEL prepaid # [protected] since 2 years.
                  But AIRTEL is charging more than 60p per min since 3 to 4 months. I went to Hadapsar Airtel office. I dont see the proper response from them to resolve my query.
                  To have it billed 60p per minute what should I do now? Do I need to go for new number? if yes - I will plan for termination.
                  When I have been to AIRTEL hadapsar office, they told me to use the landline number to talk to customer care, in that case I am not sure what is the need of having office at hadapsar branch?
                  I still dont find the answer to have my number charged 60p per minute. please let me know the procesure that how can it be done. Thanks

                      I Sunil B Mhetre, I am port in customer to Airtel from IDEA cell number [protected], under Airtel friends group, when i am port in at that time the call rates given by the airtel first call of the day to any number 1.50Rs/ min, after that Airtel friends to friends number 10Ps/min and other 30Ps/min. but from since last 3months i am paying 80ps/min to another number except airtel frinds.

                      I recharged my airtel number [protected] on 29/11/2012 by rs 200/-, Balance was 175/-. On 30/11/2012 my balance was nil, I called the customer care number talked 2-3 times, they never provided me any acceptable answers and after that no one attended my call. I recharged again on 01/12/2012 by 200 got 175 balance. This time, on 02/12/2012 morning, it again is showing around 2 rs balance. I've no services activated and no internet as my mobile does not support internet. I've all the sms that show my balance cut by various services (all came on 02/12/2012 morning) that I've never asked for. For the first time when it happened, I didnt thought of anything. But now as it is happening 2nd time, I definitely want to file a complaint in consumer forum court. I've decided to give 2 days time to remit my balance till 10am by 04/12/2012 after which I'LL have to go to consumer court. I've all the customer care calls recorded and service messages.

                          my complaint is about deduction of balance rs315 from my airtel prepaid mob no. [protected] on11/03/2012.
                          the balance on 11/03/2012 is 320 lumsum since 4:30am ,then request toon customer care to activate the inter net sacheem (100mb in 10rs for 24hurs) & they says
                          "sir' it will be activated very soon."
                          then the sms is recived by me of activation.
                          and i start the net lumsum 04:45am and end on lumsum 05:25am.
                          after ending the net the alert of ending call is come & i i warried the balance is
                          rs02.26 only.after that day i call customer care so many times but answer is not satisfid.
                          some times they put my call on hold for15 minuts and said to me our seniour is solve your problem.

                            AirTel Mobile service people are the masters in playing mischief with their customers. I just click the ebill option @ prepaidweb.airtelworld.com and got message after that on my mobile that you will be charged Rs.50 for bill.. but they should mention this before click option at their website.. and after that i contact customer care executive on 25th march 2012 at 121 which is again trying to be highly smart by giving reasons that were not related to my query/issue and they disconnected my call... Now this way AIRTEL charge their customers for contacting customer care??? and when customer care people is acting like this than what else we expect from AIRTEL. My suggestion to AIRTEL is to stop making all those fools making advertisement on TV/RADIO or improve your services instead & stop looting customers like the way you charged me by unfair means. I forward this to TRAI and every web forum so that others may knw how AIRTEL play mischief and i decided to go for MNP.

                              The service of airtel digital tv is pathetic after making a payment and waiting for 3 days and even after my reminder for installation these people haven't even tried to call and ask for a schedule for installation. For payment to purchase the digi comp i was contacted every 15 minutes and was asked to make the payment through online even though i insisted on cash on delivery. Now that I've made the payment, they have not taken even a single step on contacting me for further assistance. Its clearly seen that they are only interested in money making and not on service.

                                In case of prepaid recharge voucher a consumer is credited talk time after deduction of processing fee and service charges. For example a customer pays .100/-for recharges, his account is credited for Rs. 88.66 deducting processing fee Rs2.00 and service Tax Rs9.34. Now if this consumer has a auto renewal facility for CLIP SERVICE which has a monthly rental of Rs.30/- per month including processing fee and service Tax, His talk time value is deducted by Rs.30/- directly.Thus he has to pay processing fee and service Tax service TWO TIME for a single service.This matter shall be looked into and direct the all the telecoms service providers to stop this Unfair Trade practice.

                                Sir, I am pijush kanti bera, a student of Institute of company secretary of India. My permanent address is Vill- Deuli, P.O.- Kalasbarh, P.S.-Sabong, Dist.- Paschim Medinipur. PIN-721467.

                                My brother-in-law susanta kumar paul has bought a mobile with a lifetime connection from AIRTEL. He has a caller tune & wants to deactivate it. Today, Sunday, August 17, 2008 he came to my house for deactivation, in that time It was unknown to me the number of customer care executive, or canceling process.

                                I think that, when it activated then a massage must come to his mobile, and I open the inbox. I found that it was activated on 8th august, 2008. So I fell that I will cancel it on or after 1st September. (Because it remains for one month with the same cost)

                                I am seeing a massage send from 543211 on 8th august, 2008 which has written as under—
                                “Dear customer, congratulation, your hello tunes has been activated. Call 543213 to listen to full songs (toll free, subscription Rs 30/mon).”

                                By chance I dial the number 543211 because it comes from the number and I was reading by scrolling the page, also the two numbers was confusing.

                                Without any response it ended automatically and deduct the Rs 3/. Still I had no complain. It was my mistake that I call wrong number.

                                Then I call 543212 to listen full song which is the caller tune / hello tune of the mobile. (According to the massage)

                                It instructs me to press 1. When I press 1 it stopped and no answer then I press the red button and come to the main menu. With in some moment we receive a massage

                                “ We allotted you to listen music for 10 minutes or dedicate your friends with the cost of Rs 10/” (this is may be not actual words) we do not listen the music or do not dedicate the music to friends, we just delete the massage and see that the balance is o.k. After sometimes we found that, it already cut the Rs 10/. Lastly we found that it was a on demand service, it takes money by writing toll free.

                                According to sec 34A(3) of MRTP ACT this is an unfair trade practice.
                                According sec 34B(a) any individual customer (susanta kumar paul) can filed a complain. I pijush kanti bera doing the whole action so I am the witness.

                                We apply to you, please inquire about this matter. According to sec 48C we demand Rs 10, 00, 000/ fine in cheating of Rs 10/.
                                That is all your honor.

                                Air Tel/ Post paid connection — Unfair Trade Practice

                                My mobile no. is [protected]. I stay at Mumbai, and one of the premium customers for the last 3 years.
                                Today I was given a shock when I had made an STD call to one of my relatives no. [protected], who has a hello tune of 'Lafzon main', and after disconnecting the phone call I received a message from Airtel no.6787 that "You have been charged Rs. 20 Your callers will now hear 'Lafzon Mein ' as your Hello Tune. Call 543213 toll free and listen to full songs at Rs. 30/mon" .
                                Immediately after receiving the above message I called the customer care no. 121 and enquired for the same.I was amazed when I was told that while I had dialled my relatives no. I had pressed star button of my handset, and this is the reason why this hello tune was activated.But I had not dialled even once any star button.But the executive was not willing to listen to me and asked me to go for a detailed procedure to deactivate the above tune. I argued as to why should I take such a pain if I had not asked for any such activation, neither had i SMSed nor had called for the same.After this argument he immediately disconnected the phone.
                                The call reference no. is[protected].
                                This is a clear cut Unfair Trade Practice followed by Airtel, and a case of harrasment.I am just the one person who is complaining and I dont know how many customers have been fooled by Airtel.
                                I need your attention for the same and would request you to take immediate action against them.

                                I had taken two airtel postpaid simcards from airtel executives that had come to our house for promotional offer wherein i was promised an assured gift thru a scratch card which were supposed to be sent via courier. Its more than two months and various emails and customer care calls to airtel, i have not received any positive feedback from them. nobody, the customer care nor the airtel gallery people have a single clue about it although i have their official receipt mentioning about the offer. airtel has been dillydallying everytime i contact them . It seems they dont intend to provide the free assured gift which is my right. the funny thing is, today i got a call from them telling me to contact the executive personally who had come to my house ! this is a classic case of 'unfair trade practice' by airtel. Any suggestions for further course of action are welcome. thanks.

                                AirTel — UNFAIR PRACTICE

                                This is pertaining to IPTV Service of Airtel.
                                1) I was promised that there is no relocation charges and IPTV is available in Indirapuram area. Now when I shifted here, after 21 days of research Airtel informs me that the same is not available as their cable is choked. In this case why they should not be refunding my Rs 4000 + service tax charged for the same.
                                2) I even requested them to install DTH in lieu of this but they say, their policy does not permit and it is an outsourced service.
                                3) Their call center executives are not well educated and are not well informed also. Different executives say different things on the same issue. They drop the call. They misbehave.
                                4) The Phone nos of appelate and nodar.ncr is always busy and if you are lucky to get them, you would be put on hold for more than 10 minutes to frustate you so that you only drop the call. If you are well determined, they would say your email is not available. I experience the same with one Mrs Harpreet or something sitting at Appelate.
                                5) When the model of communication in nodal ncr or appelate is email then why their resolution does not come in writing. I requested for written reply for one Mr Khanna of Appelate, he declined to provide me the same.
                                They have become horrifying with their growth and some one needs to look in to it. One of my friend even tried to approach Mr Mittal to update on the issue but it seems he too is busy and his email id is not available.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                                  While taking a new Broad Band connection from Air Tel I was promised that a PC Secure facility(Anti Virus) comes free with the new Telephone- cum- Broad Band Connection.

                                  To my surprise I was charged for the same.

                                  A complaint was lodged through Telephone with the Air Tel Support Team to Discontinue the Service. Which was promised within 24 hrs but not done.

                                  Again at the end of billing period I got the bill for the PC Secure.

                                  This time, on 29 Feb 12, to be precise I started forwarding written complaint but their response had been wishy-washy.

                                  I had requested them to confirm the following:
                                  (a) Was any phone complaint was lodged on this issue in the past to discontinue the PC Secure.
                                  (b) Confirm the PC Secure was discontinued from 01 Mar 2012 as promised on the written complaint lodged on 29 Feb 12.
                                  (c) I will not be charged any money since the discontinuation of service for which a written request was made on 29 of Feb 2012.
                                  (d) Why it is being renewed again and again when I do not need the service as I have my own Antivirus installed on my computer.

                                  There is no clear cut response on the issue, though matter has reached to Nodal Officer Air Tel.

                                  Airtel Broadband — non-deactivation

                                  I have lodged a complaint with the airtel for deactivation of my broadband connection and it is a week now. But alas!, as I was already warned by my wellwishers, these people are NOT deactivating/finalising the bill for the reasons best known to them. Every time they are coming up with some silly advices like why shouldn't i give it to somebody else or why dont i get it transferred to my new place, etc. It seems that they are somehow trying to timepass and cross the monthly billing cycle date so that I can be loaded with a fresh bill.                                     I took unlimited data plan from airtel. 699 for 2 gb . after which I will be charged 2p/100kb . After using 3.435 gb (Rs.1000) , it will become unlimited and speed will drop around 200kbps-1.1mbps. But I am getting no more than 20 kbps even after using it just for 2 days. Even after calling customer care 5 times and making a round of airtel shop in city center , salt lake , the problem still persists.
                                    Something like this happened to me before with mts cdma connection . I was lied about the speed .
                                    But this time I thought its AIRTEL , so I was confident.
                                    Nevertheless,let down by such a huge company. May hell break loose on you guys.
                                    I saw on my airtel that my charges till now is rs. 3200. How is it possible for an unlimited connection?

                                      Sir,
                                      Myself sunil and my airtel prepaid number is [protected]. i activated 2G @Rs98 package for 1GB. i was used this service yesterday for around 30 mins and airtel has deducted 1GB balance and Rs 190 approx in this duration o[censored]sage. when i called costumer care for returning my money they have not listened my complaint and disconnected the call. i already have lost my Rs190 and still they are keep on deducting my money. They are also not rectifying my problem. i have faced the same problem last month also and that time airtel has deducted Rs300. please help me on this.

                                        I have purchased a Airtel 3G modem before 2 months,i had used it for 1 week after that no recharge coupon is accepting in that sim.i hav even insered that sim 2 my mobile nd tried 2 recharge it may time but failed it says "service class change violation".i had contacted customer care for more than 2weeks frequntly,even today no respond from there side they are playing with me.Each time i call them they will give me another no 2 call and even i have called that no they are are making me 2 call the same no again and again like a cirlcular chain,and even cuting my call.nw im unable 2 use there service since 1month.PLZ HELP ME.
