your airtel co. i feel so many times deduct balance in my mobile account.
Today also deduct rs.89 as told by customer care ph. no-121 he not properly talk me. he told that i use today internet but i not use internet. I deactivate all net etc. services from my mobile. but they deduct.last time i also complaint u but u not response me and not refund my balance of rs.480.43 dt[protected] . due to too much shortage of time i not persue u regarding my old complaint. for peace of mind i disconnect by your customer care my net services etc. Today also deduct rs.89.we all customers earn too much hard working. your company fool us and deduct our balance fraudly.I complaint also in consumer forum which complaint no is 367870.

    1>i was activated 3 day internet pack on 5/4/2012 at 6 pm. which is valid up to 7/4/2012.
    2>i used internet on 7th but my RS40 WAS DEDUCTED at 10:30 to 11:30 pm on 07/04/2012. at that time of deduction i have 4MB IN MY ACCOUNT
    3>regarding it i want to say u that i used very basic sites like gmail.facebook.job sites etc that are non pay sites... i hope u understand

    AirTel — regarding airtel gprs

    sir,
    i am an airtel gprs subscriber for last 3 yrs. the quality of service is somewhat ok .lately while on roming my gprs stoped working, on contacting 121 (cc) i was told to set my setting but the gprs didnt worked
    pls help

    AirTel — regarding a to a balance

    sir i Haave taken airtel prepaid connection with LG handset having a to a balance 2499 in feb 2007. as per scheme a to a balance validity was 2 years . but in feb2008 the balance become zero. after complaint i have got my credit balance of rs 1400 in march2008. but in july 2008 my balance was about Rs1100 and after failing of your system in july 2008 my a to a balance become again zero . after locla complaints i dont got any responce from last two months. my mobile no is [protected].

    i have activated my mobile office on my airtel number([protected]) on13-10-08 but it is not connecting to my pc when i talk with airtel costomer care exicutive then they did not satisfy me. but my account is keeping on reduce .please help me soon as possible

    Airtel — deduction of money without downloading anything using gprs

    Dear sir,
    On 17-10-08 I activated GPRS on my airtel mobile connection . I used to go to site dada.net to download some ringtones from there but nothing will get downloaded but from that day there is a deduction of Rs.10 from my airtel mobile connection, Mobile number[protected]. I wish to deactivate that thing if anything get activated by mistake on 17-10-08, as earlier as it can, so as I will be benefited.

    for subscription of bhojpuri movies... which in fact i never applied for... so please help me out

      We purchased 1 nos of 3G Datacard from your dealer M/S Vels Associates,K.K.Nagar,Madurai-20 in the name of R.KARTHIKEYAN on 25.01.12.

      We regularly recharged in the same.Previously we recharged for Rs451/= on 07.03.12 and we got 1200MB Data as per your plan.

      On 03.04.12 again we recharged for Rs 675 to get 2.5GB Data asper your plan.But the recharged data is only 1.25GB.

      So we informed on 04.04.12 to your dealer M/S Vels associates,and also we contacted your customer care from there and
      informed the same.

      Your customer care people said that in another 24 hrs the remaining data will be recharged to our account.But the data is not recharged in another 24 Hrs.

      So we again went to your Vels associates office and contacted yoour customer care and they said that the plans are only valid up to 31st January.But we got 1200 MB recharged for Rs 451 on 07.03.12 and your dealer also told that the same plan is active till date.
      We are not satisfied your service because of this issue,So,kindly take necessary action immediately to retrive the remaining 1.25GB data to our account at the earliest.

        my airtel no [protected] has been allocated to anyone else ............... i gav a call ion my airtel no n i found someelse picked up and i get to know that the no is been allocated to someone else............
        now if i giv a a call to customer care they will say that ,,,v dont keep details to 3 months back or 2 months back.......... what the [censored] tlecom sector is the AIRTEL........ the DATABASE of airtel dont hav take care of allocating a preallocated no to anyone..........then its fault of that MOTHER[censored] software enginnering who hav created the AIRTEL database.........

        Airtel — SIM card allocated to someone else

        Dear Sir,

        I have been using a sim card from Air Tel which I had taken few years back under the life time free sim card promotion. I use it every six to seven months as i am an NRI and whenever I come to India I use this.
        This year when I came last month, I found to my surprise that the sim was giving and error message and I was unable to use it. Initially I presumed that their was no charge and hence I purchased a recharge of Rs.333/-. However, it did not work. I approached Airtel office in Kalyananagar and they inormed me since I had not used for more than six months, the number was recycled and given to someone else. This is not correct. I have taken a life time free sim card on the assumption that this number belongs to me whether I use it or not. How can the number be recycled without even an intimation with the customer? I can understand if the number is blocked subject to reuse but sold to someone else is not at all correct.
        Is their a way to help me out from this situation. If yes, I can be contacted at [protected]@altayer.com.

          airtel really sucks. i have put msg booster for my number on mar 9. the service msg came as auto renewal. i asked the customer care they said i[censored] wish to cancel this auto renewal; on the end date dial *333*0# on ur mobile and cancel it. it was over on yest apr 6. from yesterday nit i'v been dialing this number the reply i got was " EXTERNAL APPLICATION DOWN" so i put on msg booster to day eve at 7. after 9 o clk my balance was washed out and the sms pack was auto renewed. when i call for customer care they just don pick my call and cut them with not attending my call after 10 min of waiting. i want my balance back. sice there is no proper response from airtel only i put my msg booster.
          really useles network i have ever seen. no proper response and even if the customer care officials attend the call they will answer us only 5 times in a month.
          if our issue is resolved in single call why we gonna call often?

          Idea — improper response from customer care

          As per my sim plan, STD calls shoud charge 1Re but at some point of time it charges normal. On making cal to customer care, they r telling this no. is not there under any plan and asking me to visit the idea office for further clarifications. it happened many times to me
          the same thing happened to me also, they never bother to respond properly instead every time they ask to visit idea office.
          Idea Cellular' s Customer Care Centre gives wrong information about PUK codes. They even go to the extent of suggesting to collect the PUK 2 code from the handset provider company. What can be more false and misguiding than this ?

          Airtel — Improper response

          With this message i am giving the award for Worst mobile service provider in Chennai is Airtel.
          Due to their fraud activation and deactivation of hello tunes and VAS.
          I experienced this in my connection.
          I didnt give any request for deactivation
          Tele caller also confirmed that they didnt receive any request.
          So I told them to activate the same things in my number.
          Atlast they did some fraud work and inserted one record for deactivation in my account and they declared that i sent it.
          So they want my 15rs to live otherwise bharti airtel family will go for some anti-social work to earn money.
          Also in chennai, i know many friends using airtel network. Due to their anti social policy we all are goign to change the network.
          i.e Planned to go for some Genuine Network Provider.

          So i requested all other airtel mobile users to change their network for not lossing your money. Also its ur wish on staying with airtel or not. But one day u should not feel to be in airtel... Better take diversion to some other network. Its my request.

          i am just gonna surrender my postpaid and prepaid or else i will port them... airtel should understand to value customers in my home i have 4 airtel sims for everyone if i cancel them my family's money will be saved.

          i dont like to rate stars for airtel..they are not even worth for bad connection... they are the worst ever network...
          Maharashtra ka sab se bakwas network sab se zyada haram ka khane wale hai yaha pay ... kabhi kisi problem ka solution nhi milta hai. Inki bakwass romentic adds pay mat jaana ye log kutte hai saale ..paiso k liye aapni lagwade

            The following complaint mail sent by me has bounced back:

            I never ever opted for e-bills, and on several occasions have had to struggle to get a hard copy of the bill. The hard copy is given only some time and that too late so that I suffer late charges. The soft copy does not open also and that too has been informed several times.

            Please stop this harassment, send regular hard copy of the bill. Failing this I will be constrained to take you to court.

                I have been banging my head with your service for the past 1 week for addressing my settop box. The following are my problems:

                1. Most of the channels are not being rendered. For a previous visit, the service guy said it was a problem with the STB and need to be replaced. But it has not been replaced. But the day charges are being deducted as usual, even though I have asked them to extend my validity period.

                2. The STB, it seems, does not have a HD installation setup, even though my STB is a HD Recorded STB.

                3. The remote given to me is a non-Recorder remote and it has not been replaced.

                Whenever I register my problem, 2 days later, I am getting a message saying that the problem has been resolved. This means Airtel DTH has a bunch of crooks as service guys who is prepared to tell lies without even solving the problem.

                I made a complaint again saying that I am getting such resolution messages from Airtel DTH, when the problem was not solved. I got an assurance that this will also be looked into.

                Every day, I call them to see the progress of my complaint, I am getting the same reply "It will be resolved the next day". Only days have passed but the problem persists.

                Now, I want to make a formal complaint like this as my next step to seek a legal resolution. I am going to file a complaint in the consumer court for hefty damages, if my problem is not resolved in 2 days. And I need the validity to be extended for all these days where I was not able to use the DTH services fully.

                Airtel — not resolving my problem

                i had complainted thrice on customer care number , that my sms service is not working from last three months with reffrence no."[protected]" , but no solution has been given to me yet . My mobile no is +91-[protected] .

                Last 15 days(from 20/08/2011) my Set top box is not working.I am calling their call centre but problem not resolving.I am not able to reach their higher opps.

                AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Complaint has not resolved

                My Airtel Digital TV account number is [protected]. I had problem with set of box and i had registered the complaint aginst it, my complaint number is 17578703. On date: 6th April, 2012 engineer from Airtel came and attended my problem. He suggested there is need to change set of box and he will visit again and will salve the problem. But after that no updates and response from Airtel regarding my problem. I am trying to call the engineer who attended my complaint as well as the number given by Airtel regarding any querry's resolution. But no response from both sides. The nubers are 1) Given by Aitel by sms-[protected] and 2) Engineer's number- [protected]. Hope you will resolve my problem and will support me about my problem.

                I am facing the problem - CHANNEL RECEPTION ISSUE / SATELLITE [HD] SETTINGS REQUIRED TO BE DONE IN MY STB/TV) since last 2 months for which Airtel engineer needs to come at my place, but treating very badly from Airtel DTH - Customer Care.

                Calling them regularly since 13th Apr'2012 till the date and they always told me that engineer will be at my place next day, but when I call them again to let them know that no one came on the given date and time, they always replied that our system showing 'your issue has been resolved'. How it's possible? How my settings been done without any engineer at my place? This is really bizarre and I am totally disappointed.

                Additionally, I have paid Rs.350 on 16th Apr'2012 and got a new STB (I went personally and got it which must be delivered at my place by Airtel engineer), but why I didn't get a new remote?

                I am very optimistic but these people [Airtel Digital Customer Care (including call center executives and field/technical engineers)] pushed me to say "DON'T BUY ANY SERVICES FROM AIRTEL - DON'T BURN YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY".

                  Dear sir my airtel no. Is [protected] i am porting out in feb 26 but airtel give me offer 1/2 psec for 6months.and my porting was cancelled. Till here it was ok but after 1month they started daily 1rs deduction without my consent, i have call to a c.care they said u have a mnp offer that's why bal. Is deducted she said i[censored] want to stop deducting bal. Then recharge with rs32 and u will get tariff 1.2p sec for 90days wat a bull my previous plan was 1psec till 2013.

                  This is to inform you that I am using Airtel Connection from last 2.6 Yrs and I never found any grievences related to billing & Service. But From last 4 months I found problems in my bills and same is infromed to Airtel. When I have not received any satisfactory answer. I was called by your executives regarding the non-payment of bill. I have clearly explained the flaws found in the bills and same to be rectified.I ready to pay my actual bills containing the genuine calls.


                  Today i.e 29-dec-07, I have received a threatning call from your Team Leader Named Mr. Rajiv Singh Chouhan regarding the non-payment of bill.
                  The Details are as undder

                  He was sounding very harsh, abusive and also threatning me to make the payment by Today max 16:30, otherwise he will use my personal calls detail from my itemized bill and missue the same.

                  This is a humble request to look into this matter seriously. Plz do the needful.

                  Rs. 1 is being deducted from my account on daily basis on account of FHM Model of the day service. I've tried to discontinue this service many times, whenever I opt for discontinuation of service I don't get the message of deduction for 3 to 5 days, but invariably I get multiple messages after that on a single day and invariably money is deducted as many times.Can anybody suggest a way out, otherwise the last recourse for me would be to approach the court as I don't want to change my number.

                    I am using a airtel prepaid card no is [protected] from last six years, when i am taken this number i was submitted my documents as name Desale Jitendra Jagannath. then also airtels calls for resubmission of documents, i was resubmitted the documents for two times to ARC, but now i loss my sim card and i want my number again hence i reach to nearest ARC center for new sim card for same number but i found that the number is on another persons name, i fill the form for name mismatch on 17 March 2012 but then now airtel in charge of that ARcenter told that it is not possible so Pleas i want the details to get my number back.

                      I have purchased a recharge coupon of Rs.15/- (airtel zabardas) (35 local & STD mins validity 1 day) for my Kolkata mobile no.[protected] during Scratching the personal recharge pin number of that recharge voucher has spoiled with Serial Number [protected]. The coupon is with me till now. When I talked with the customer care officer they told me that there is no way to get back the recharge pin.

                      I have not receive any funds from your part and someone called me on 13.04.2012 at 01:54 PM and told me that my main balance has credited with Rs.15/- neither I got any such funds nor any positive response from your part and now you are listed that my concern listed dated 07.12.2012 has been resolved. After 2 days from recharged my sms pack was not working i had complaint customer care three times but still every time debited 1 rs per sms when i send a msg. After complaint Customer care sended me msg "Thank you for contacting airtel. Your request reference no. registered on 06-apr-2012 13:19 is CBNRA[protected]." so please resolve my problem as soon as possible thanking you my no. Is [protected].

                        This to inform you that I am experiencing unnecessary deduction from my prepaid mobile account No: [protected]. It is learnt that this amount is deducted for BOL BOL PACK which is not activated by me at all. At first I noticed this deduction (Rs. 17 /) by end Nov-07 and same was reported to Air Tel . I am pleased to inform you that the amount was refunded, after a constant follow up, and a message was received on 07.12.07 from Air Tel. Again I found that an amount is deducted (Rs 34/) and same was brought to the notice of Air Tel and I was informed to send a message “usub- bol-55456” . Accordingly I forwarded the request and I received the message that “plan is not active.” on 01.01.2008. Again I find that Rs 17 deducted and I was told that I forwarded the message without the space between usub and bol hence it is not deactivated. I contacted Air Tel on 07.01.2008 and I was told to forward the message keeping the space in between usub and bol and message received from Air Tel that plan is deactivated.
                        From the above you will notice that the amount is getting deducted for no fault of mine and today no amount is left to call anybody from my mobile. Would you please look into the matter so that I get back the deducted amount without further delay? I confirm having forwarded the message by e mail to [protected]@airtel.com but in vain.

                        AirTel — SMS not working

                        In my phone no.[protected], the SMS is not going from 5th of Oct. 2010, complaints have alreay been lodged and also talked with customercare so many times. But No result and they have consumed my time also a lot. It has been tried from other instrument, the SMS is not going and displaying the message "Sending failed".                         From my pre-paid airtel number +[protected], I have not been able to send SMS. I am able to send SMS but not able to send replies at all. I have raised this issue several times with Airtel Customer Care, but the problem remains unresolved. This issue is pending since September 2010
                        My AIRTEL number [protected], is unable to receive SMS from[protected].Never faced such a problem.Wonder what AIRTEL has to say ?
                        i am also having sms pack problem...i purchase pack of 36 rs...in which after more than 10 msgs 9p/sms should be deducted but on every msg 25 paise are deducting...
                        I am also facing same issue... AIRTEL = Cheaters, till Jio they looted the country at the high level...

                          Am using 2 airtel DTH connection [protected] & [protected]. For more than 1 month now Religious channels like shalom,angel tv etc are broadcasted in single screen with 4 individual Grids . This makes viewing those channels very tedious especially for aged persons like my mom and father, whom they got visual issues. In addition to that now DD channels are showing up in same way. They usually spend good time in these channels and hence they keep on complaining. I called Customer support several time to report this issue and they accept this is some technical problem from their end, but still there is no resolution on this. Really fed up on airtel nowadays. Only to view these we went to airtel DTH from cable connection and now again we are not able to view those channels. Any ETA to rectify these issues or Any one help please help on Next action ..!

                            There is a channel on Airtel Dth. by the name of MY TV. It is running a bogus programme in which an announcer comes and shows you the face of any well known Film star or celeberety and asks you to call on their number and tell the name of that person.Viewers are promised a large sum of money on giving the right answer.The call to this number is charged at premium call rates of Rs.12 per minute.When you call on this number you are kept on Hold for several minutes so that they can earn more and more through call charges.Also the announcer on Tv. keeps on passing more and more time on a single question and you are persuaded to hold for more and more time,so that more money is generated through call charges.Many times the questions are wrongly answered by people employed by the channel itself,so that the question can be extended more and more.This is cheating and is provoking people to play Gambling.

                              As on Today 7.pm i.e 7.4.2012 Still no one came here to Visit, This shows How DTH Companies treat their Customers once they Purchased Their Product, I request Others Who are willing to take up my case, i am ready to move to Consumer Court for the in connivance Caused by Airtel. I also Request Trai to Bring Some Strong Rules for All the DTH Providers Regarding Service Matters.I am feeling very much for using such irresponsible Product, So i Request the Forum to Suggest me in Approaching Consumer Court, and Sending A Notice to Airtel Digital TV So that from next time on wards they will take a customer compliant Seriously i want to teach a lesson to Them What A customer can Do if He doesn't get Proper Service for which he had paid and keeps on Paying money.

                                6th April 2012 ,I got a junk call from Airtel at around 1753 Hrs .When after listening to computerized voice I disconnected the call and after that I got a message stating that My hello tunes activation has been successful. When I called customer care they also said ,they cant do anything atmost can deactivate the service. Sir This has occurred to many of the consumers.Please take strict action against these service providers.

                                  i was on a 899 plan, my monthly bill used to be Rs.992 (incl tax), Airtel have suddenly changed my plan to 999 without my knowledge, on speaking to cust care reps they have access only to 3 months bill, Airtel have sent collection agents from a company call Horizon Collection agency Guttahalli Bangalore, who have spoilt my reputation in my apartment, and tele collections agents have harrased my mother and me over phone both of there are not able to explain the bill to me.

                                    On[protected] at 11:09 AM, I received an sms by AD-58888 for renewal of caller tune which will charge Rs. 15/- for 90 days for the same song which was in continuation.

                                    Question is - If a different song is chosen then company can charge the fees but it is charging for the same song which is in continuation since last month. Company is also charging Rs. 30/- as monthly charges except this.

                                    Is it right practice to charge with availing a new service???

                                    Please help in this regard.

                                      Airtel is luring its customers by showing some attractive bill plan on internet and their IVRS (121).
                                      But when we register to that, a different plan is being activated (on which call charges are higher).
                                      While discussing with Airtel Customer care, they say that particular bill plan is no more available.

                                      Why should they show something and give something else.

                                      Another issue:
                                      When I was not using my phone for months (but 1 year advance rental was paid). it was due, they re-activated the same plan for the next year too, which I don't want to opt. When asked, my mobile was switched off, so thy couldn't confirm. I didn't receive any call on my alternative number also.
                                      Later I was not given an option to change the plan also.. I'm forced to use the same plan for another 1 year. Don't know what will happen for the next year :(

                                        Dear concerned,
                                        This is to bring to your urgent attention that I have been experiencing difficulty with the viewing quality of certain channels on Airtel DIital TV for more than a month and a half. I have been a vintage customer of Airtel DTH services since 2009 until recently I was totally taken aback by the sudden degeneration and downfall in quality of programming pertaining to certain channels being aired by the DTH services provided by you. I cannot deny the fact that I am absolutely disappointed.
                                        There are in particular 4 channels by the names: Angel TV, Subhavaartha, Shalom and GOD TV which are aired on channel numbers: 514, 531, 694 and 695 respectively and they seem to have been merged under a single service by the name I Divine displaying four window screens on four corners of the television screen. In other words I am seeing four different screens simultaneously airing four different programmes at the same time in four different channels whose names and no’s have been provided above. Until I see a red button option of my remote commander flashing on the four live feeds. When I press the same I am led into your so called I-Divine services loading page that takes about a moment to load. Eventually what is have on my TV screen is a slightly higher version of the window size screen right at the centre with an I-Divine logo right on top but this time with a single screen view of the channel tantamount to the channel no. For instance Channel 695 for GOD TV and so forth for the others as well. But I am getting a half size view of the channel on my TV screen unlike other channels like Star, Sony etc in which the programmes occupy the entire TV screen monitor.
                                        I have never experienced such a paranormal activity on my TV since my existence on this planet and I mean it. If there is a problem with the telecast then we usually experience technical glitches which ideally points to un-availability of the channel at that moment under normal circumstances. But this is a new kind of problem.
                                        Until I call on your PAN India toll free customer care number ([protected]) which guides me through an IVR and all I hear is music being played in the background and I am asked to be on hold. It takes good amount of time to reach one of your customer service aids while I am on hold for about 6-7 minutes. I tell him about the problems, he leads me to his technical team who asks me to perform a few tricks on the set top box which I do so by tweaking the Aspect ratio and rebooting the Set Top box but to no avail. I am back at the same place.
                                        With great difficulty I succeed at convincing your customer centre guy to book me an appointment with the nearest technical engineer at my disposal. It was confirmed with an SMS sent to my registered mobile no: [protected] which bore the name and no of your service engineer (Mr. Murari, Mob no: [protected]). Apparently the next i.e on 08/03/2012 being Holi the office is on a closure. Upon calling up a day or two later I am told by the person that he is on his way but he does not show up on the committed time. Anyways I am fed up and I call up the call centre guys again telling them that the concerned person has still not shown up for the last 4-5 days. I am sent an SMS again on the same no bearing a particular Docket no. Anyways our tech. guy shows up on a Saturday evening along with his assistant. He performs a few things on the set top box, tries downloading software, completes the software installation process and performs a reboot on the Set top box. But there I am back again with the same problem. I am told that this is a novel problem that needs some background work to be performed in order to be certain about the patterns. In the meantime he tells me that there is a problem with my Set top box since it is an old one. He tells me to call him in another 4-5 days till he can suggest a logical answer to the problem. I do that but unfortunately I am asked to contact his team leader (immediate superior, Service Head) who sits at the Dhanbad office bearing the number: [protected] and name: Mr. Rajan Singh . When I call this gentleman he tries to put up with some dumb and lousy excuse and tries to convince me that this problem will be solved soon. He also tells me the same thing that my set top box needs replacement with a newer improved version which would cost me about Rs. 300 to Rs. 350 in exchange. Sensing the unsavory tone of his conversation I call up your all India toll free customer care no. and tell the person on the line about my experience with this guy who sets a tone of apology for the embarrassment I had to put up with. Well that’s fine. I really appreciate such a noble gesture but I still do not have a solution to my problem.
                                        He then puts me on a long hold and confirms with the Tech team about the nature of the problem, and then pops out with the generic answer that this is a Technical error. There is nothing that could be done at the moment. Well to be precise he says that it is a Broadcast Issue. It’s got to nothing with the Airtel DTH services. I humbly accept his assertion like a dumb layman completely swept off my feet.
                                        I am experiencing the same issue even today. In fact people in my family are glued to some of the devotional channels especially GOD TV on Channel 695. I myself am quite a compulsive addict to this channel since long and that is why we have been subscribing this channel since it became paid. But you see we are paying for the services of this channel but unable to view it to a normal size unlike other channels. I have confirmed the nature of this problem with some of my colleagues who avail DTH services of other service providers like Sun Direct etc. They also have access to GOD TV but there seems to be no problem with respect to the screen size of the channel. It is occupying the entire screen area of their TV monitors. And more so had it been a broadcaster issue then it would have been a problem with either one or maybe two channels at best. How can there be a broadcast issue with respect to the size of the screen for all four channels at the same time. Isn’t that strange? Isn’t that a rhetoric answer to someone who supposedly knows nothing about telecast?
                                        I am sorry to say but in light of the above mentioned problems and the resolution provided I am absolutely disgruntled. I need a clarification to this problem as soon as possible failing which I will be compelled to take this matter to the Customer Grievance Redressal Board. If there isn’t any problem with these channels being shown on other DTH providers then how is that we are seeing it different through Airtel Digital TV. Are these programs being broadcast from some other planet or a distant alien orb?
                                        On a serious note it shows a sheer lack in your quality of service and decadent state of programming telecast and feed. It also shows your slack judgment in dealing with unforeseen exigencies of this sort and providing a valid justification.
