He: Mujhe kal hi chahiye ya phir tum ye bol do ki "TUM PAYMENT NAHI KARNA CHAHTE" (again & again & again wo bas mujhse ye hi bulvana chahta tha.)
Me: me aisa customer nahi hu jo payment nahi karta aur blacklist me dal diya jaye aur na to me sattlement karvana chahta hu..me aapna card continue rakhna chahta hu bas payment late hua hai aur iske sabhi charges aur service tax me hi pay karunga...but tum mujhpe pressure karke kuchh nahi paoge.

I've received that calls from 3 different numbers

Aur usne aapna naam "VIREN GOSWAMI" bataya tha I am sure ki wo FATTU-GADHA aapna sahi naam to nahi batayega.

Ye sara conversation continues 40 mins tak chala and after that mene call cut kiya bcoz wo meri baat sunana hi nahi chahta tha aur continues pressure kar raha tha ki me ye bol du ki "ME PAYMENT NAHI KARNA CHAHTA" but the question is me aisa kyo bolu jab ki me payment karna chahta hu...

I am really surprise ki mene KUTTO KI TARAH BHOKNEWALO ke baare me suna tha but aaj to experience bhi hua...

Barclays jo ki abroad ka ek reputed bank hai wo india me aisa GUTTER SE BHI GANDA staff rakhegi to uska future bahot bura hai...

I am very frustrated with barclays credit card collector as they are deaf to understand anything.My brother had some dispute with them on charging some unusual interest and he didn't pay the amount, but the thing is he does not stay with us most of the time due to his job and bad talking terms.
A collector from barclays visits our place almost everyday and argue with us after knowing the mere fact, he even visit on sundays and he thinks he has the right to discuss the matter with everybody in the society trust me i've seen him doing it.
Please assist on this matter asap.

KYA BARCLAYS AISE GOONDO KO BHI HIRE KARTI HAI???
AUR MUJH PE "ME PAYMENT NAHI KARNA CHAHTA" YE BULVANE KE LIYE PRESSURE KYO KIYA GAYA...
bas is baat ka answer chahiye..

Because late payment ke liye daily calls aur koi bank nahi karta hai jabki Barclays se daily 2 ya usase jyada aate hai...aur itni buri tarah se baat karnewala "GUTTER SE BHI GANDA" staff aur kisi bank me nahi hai.

muze aap ke collection agancy ne kaha tha ki wo mera one time settlement karange as per disscussion with him usane mere ko 31 03 2011 ka settlement offer kiya rs 23400 ka aur maine rs[protected] ko ko payment kiya aur baki ka payment 03 04 2011 ko kiya ab wo bol rahe hai ki mere ko aur rs 4000 pay karana padega aur mere ko gali de kar tera settlement nahi karunga aisa bol raha hai pls call me [protected]

    We have availed business loan from Barclays Bank, Chennai, South India and now we are not able to pay monthly EMI regulalrly due to
    high interest and indirect charges. So we have requested Barclays bank, Chennai representaive to arrive settlement to our loan account no: [protected] and they are not still doing that. So we are facing very hardship now. We have been approaching Barclays, Chennai representative for the past two months, but they are still reluctant to do this. Hope this complaint letter will favour us at the earliest.

      Dear Sir,

      I am exisisting cust. of Barclays premiur league credit card.My credit card No. is [protected].I have received a call from Barclays call centre on date 17.03.2009 that I have made online transactions through internet banking i denied that i have not made any online transactions till date, so I had made my card immediately blocked.I have asked him abt details of transactions he replied transactions is not settled yet so u`ll get details after 2 days.after 2 days I had called to call center & received details of transactions which is given below:-
      16/03/2009 skype.com Rs. 522.45/-
      17/03/2009 skype.com Rs. 522.45/-
      17/03/2009 skype.com Rs. 522.45/-
      I have told I had not made these transactions so I had been asked to download dispute declaration form & fill & send to P. O. Box address of Barclays Credit card. I had send form I mailed them furnish all details of fraudlant transactions.When I had received statement of my account they also charged me retrival fee of Rs.200/- for a charge slip.Again I had send dispute declaration form.I had made payment of fraudlant transactions before later date for my credit purpose & ask them to make reversal of these transactions.I had mailed so many times abt reversal but there is no responce from their end.

      I have received e-statement dated 8th May, 2009, I have found following entry.

      16.03.2009 1627 IMP ILLEGIBLE C/H DECLARATION 542.80Dr.

      When I had mailed them abt clarification of the entry they replied was done on 16.03.2009 of amt of Rs. 542.80 & in statement of 8th April`09 amt is showing Rs. 522.45/-

      I had never done any online transactions.

      This is a cybercrime.

      So i should get reversal of these fraudlant transactions & also my postage expences & compansation for mental harrasment.

      I also should get duplicate active card without any charge

        i am tushar giri having a credit card no. [protected] have given a cheque of Rs.7380 (cheque no. 128418 ) on 20/05/09 to bank executive (Receipt no. C 703686) .A message was also came to my mobile on 23/05/09 from bank that cheque was received . The amount of Rs.7380 is also deducted from my abn amro bank account on 23.05/09.But still that amount is not transferred to my credit card account [protected].
        Please do the necessary action.

            Dear sir,

            I was in possession of Barclay Card No. [protected] and have paid all the dues in time always but it was in Feb. 2009 that I got a call from Barclays Customer Care Mumbai asking me if I had tried some transaction of payments to Airtel since I had not done/tried any I refused that.

            And they told me to download Dispute Transaction form from website and send it. And I sent the duly filled Dispute Transaction Form with a letter to Dispute Redressal team at Barclays Mumbai vide courier no.Z84493230 dated[protected] of DTDC Courier.


            Subsequently I reported the matter to Mr. Prakash on[protected] and he told me not to pay the amount which was to the tune of Rs.3500/- since matter has been lying pending with the dispute transaction resolution team..

            Since the day I sent that letter, I have not received any communication from BARCLAYS in which the reference of that letter has been mentioned. And their executives have been calling me every now & then saying to make the payment. I would like to mention here that each and every time I called Barclays I have been told that the dispute will be resolved shortly but nothing has been done so far.

            I also lodged a complaint vide reference no. 1519169 dated[protected] at 1:40 pm and I was told that we will revert back to you in 2 days but no answer. And today also when I called the customer care at [protected] I have been told a new story that I am having an add-on card also and as per best of my knowledge I have never applied for any.


            More-over I received one extra card along-with my credit card issued in the name of some Komal Doshi and I reported the matter at BARCLAYS customer care centre then they asked me to send an email of the same and I also sent the same on[protected] from [protected]@live.com and I got a reply from email id vide ref. no. [protected] saying that “ Please be noted your request and the same has been forwarded to the concerned department . We will revert back to you shortly ”And I have not received any call till date for the subject .It was me who tore away that card into pieces and threw it away to prevent any misuse .

            Barclays customer service/ dispute reddressal department is not having proper interface with thier departments .Each and every time one has to tell the whole story and they keep harassing by calling 20-30 times a day and keep sending SMS every hour .Barclay people don't even bother to revert back to emails and they have the worst customer service systems .

            You are requested to look into the matter and do the needful .

              I WAS HOLDING A BARCLAYS BANK CREDIT CARD NO [protected].ONE DAY I FOUND THAT I WAS OVERCHARGED BY BANK.THEN I CANTACTED THE CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE RECIEVED THE PAYMENT AFTER TWO DAYS OF DUE DATE.I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE ANSWER AND WANTED TO SETTLE THIS MATTER AND I TOLD THEM THAT I WANT TO SETTLE THIS AMOUNT.THE AMOUNT WAS SETTLED AND I PAID THEM THE AMOUNT BY CHEQUE OF RS 1050 AND CASH RS 150 .THEY ISSUED ME A SETTLEMENT LETTER BUT IT WAS A SCANNED COPY OF THAT LETTER AND I WAS TOLD THAT I WILL RECIEVE ORIGINAL COPY WITHIN TWO WORKING DAYS BUT EVEN AFTER 1 MONTH I RECIEVED MANY CALLS REGARDING THE SAME PAYMENT WITH EXTRA CHARGES I TOLD THEM THAT THE AMOUNT IS SETTLED AND GAVE THEM THE SETTLEMENT NO - MUM/BCGOLD/21335 DATED 23'RD APRIL 2009.TODAY I RECIEVED ANOTHER CALL ASKING THE SAME AMOUNT WITH INTEREST AND I TOLD THEM THAT THE AMOUNT IS SETTLED BUT THEY SAID THAT YOU HAVE TO SETTLE THE AMOUNT AGAIN WITHOUT GIVING ANY REASON.PLEASE HELP ME REGADING THE ABOVE MATTER AS THE BANK IS HARRASING ME FOR THE PAYMENT WHICH IS TOTALLY FALSE.

              My mother is also facing the same problem that the executives of the Barclay bank has called us for settlement & when we paid them the settlement amt. that time they given us the receipt for that. they also told us that they will send us settlement letter afterwords. As we new to all this things we thought that this would be the procedure which normally used by the bank. So we let them go. after the month or so the bank recovery agents again called up saying that u need to pay the remaining amt. or u have to pay the settlement amt.again by any way. So wht would we have to do . Do i have complain aginst them in consumer court OR something. plz help us in this matter before the matter goes to critical stage...

                I have used my credit card only twice (12000+4000) and coverted the amount in to EMI, after paying the EMI's for 1 year as per the statement received, I spoke to the customer care representative and paid the total outstanding amount...thru a check...after a month I receive a new statement with increase in the total outstanding amount and alsoo start receiving the calls for minimum due amt...when I try to confirm what is the outstanding which needs to be paid...the executive informs they do not have the complete record with them but I need to pay the minimum amt by tomorrow...after confirming from customer care i receive a ref # for reversing all the interest charges, late fee which are not relevant...but the same is not updated in their records and still receive calls for payments...only for hte interest which they keep charging on the same interest amount and service charges of Rs 600 twice in only one statement for the same month. The credit cards executives who calls up does not have complete information nor they can explain what is the interest charges why is it charged..and they do not know how to speak to a customer...they dont even try to understand what a customer is trying to explain. pls try to solve this issue...only interest is charged after the payment is done...and again interest is charged on the same ineterst amt with double service charges..

                  From 25 of month SMS start and it goes till 2nd of month. EVERYDAY an SMS

                  From 27th call on landline and mobile starts

                  The person will call and say "Your EMI will be deducted on 3rd, ensure adequate balance"

                  these calls are also on odd timings
                  7 - 9 in morning, Sundays, Holidays

                  The call will be from Mumbai and Dehli Head Office both

                  Due to all these when I approached the bank for Loan Closure

                    I have received Barclays credit card without my concern .my card no.[protected] .where as i have not used the above said card and i have been charged Rs.11267.45.repeatedly i informed the bank authorities i do not want the card and i can not pay for which i have not utilized.Despite of the above the bank is continuously calling me through bank collection agents. its annoying to me. request you to take proper action against the bank.

                      I am using the barclays creadit card since from 1.5 years. I took loan 50, 000. And i was paying properly, but never received any email statment from them. Since, i am always in onsite (India Only) i could not see the statement which they are sending to my physical address. But, i was paying properly my Loan EMI and my late due payment also. Last month 1st Apr'2008, i have called to barclays and enquired about my total outstanding balance, they told 28, 000, then i made a payment 7, 000 in online.. They sent sms that they recieved amount.. after that i did not purchase anything on that card.. This month 1st May 2008 i have called them and enquired about my total outstanding balance (Because i am not receving email statment since i am in onsite). They told that 32, 000. How it got increased?? really i get shocked. I have been asking them since 4 months to send all my previous statments. But they did not send, they sent only last 5 months statment. I dont really where it is going wrong.. If somebody take this complaint and contact barclays means, , that would be great help for me.

                      For the first time I used the card I didnt get the statement and there is no pt of contact in hyderabad.When I got call from customer care I immediately paid them full amount. At that time they said there will be no late payment charges.But from 2nd statement I am getting it as late payment fee .I immediately called them not reachable and also mailed them no reply. Now its almost 5th month they are calling me daily and i explained each and everyone but they are asking me to pay the amount. As the mistake is from the bank side I dont want to pay a single pennny.
                      So please help me out from this.

                      Barclay Credit Card — False commitments & worst service

                      Hi,

                      This is regarding with the false information and worst customer care service of Barclay Credit Card.

                      I am holding Barclay gold credit card. Company has blocked my c ard due to non trasactions in last six months also they are not allowing me to redeem my reward points.
                      This was not communicated at the time of applying for credit card. As well as this term and condition is not mentioned in the credit card kit recieved after applying for card.

                      Customer care of Barclay did not informed me about card blocking as this should be communicated to customer, so that I can redeem my reward points.
                      But I have collected 1350 reward points this means i have used card serveral times...right?

                      Worst service...false commitments....no complete informations.

                        Sir / Madam,
                        I had used My Barclays Bank Credit Card([protected]) 1st time in my life on 19-07-08 for Two movie tickets for Rs.230/-. I have received Statement for payment due on 08-09-08. I have made payment through cheque on 05-09-08 for Rs.230/- and drop the cheque in the drop box, but they are showing the receipt on 12-09-08 and after that they are continuously charging Late payment and Interest thereon till date. Now they are harssing to me for payment which is more than six thousand and this amount is only cumulated amount of late payment charges and Interest thereon. Is there any criteria to stop these kind of harassment?

                        Barclays Credit Card — Harrashment by Barclays Credit Card

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I would like to bring to your notice about the Barclay Credit Card cheating business.
                        I am a card holder of the above stated bank from last 11 months and regularly clearing

                        there dues without any fail.
                        As per last statement I received i have a credit limit of INR 86000.00 and Available

                        credit limit of INR 46259.23. As of now Total outstanding amount is INR 39540

                        (approx).
                        Yesterday I got a call from Collection dept. that I have exceeded my credit limit by INR

                        1500.00 and they forcefully insisted over the phone to deposit the extra amount

                        immediately which was eventually wrong as per credit limit mentioned in the

                        statement.
                        While I discussed with customer care officer they said my credit limit has been

                        reduced to INR 38000.00 without any prior notice .
                        While trying to find out the reason they simply denied and said its a bank decession

                        and bank can change credit limit at any point of time.
                        Moreover though I paid the dues on regular basis (I have bank statement for this ), they

                        said they have received money only on last March 2008.
                        Now my questions:
                        1. If bank can change my credit limit without any information though they have full

                        rights . how i can come to know that my limit has been reduced. is this my duty to call

                        them and find out?
                        2.I have spent my expenditure as per my limit but if tomorrow they reduce the limit

                        then each and every time i have to pay the outstanding amount to my bank?
                        3. Is there any policy in place so that bank can't change customer credit limit

                        whimsically ?
                        Because on every overlimit bank charges INR 500 extra .may be they are doing

                        business in this way.

                        Even, I have not received the last statement.

                        Please look into this matter. I have stopped to pay Barclay, untill my issues are

                        resolved.

                        Barclays Bank/ Credit Card — Harrasment for Payment Collection

                        The problem that i am facing is that the collection department of Barclays bank credit card has been calling me every days for the past 9 months to pay for the late payment fee & interest on my card. The issue here is that i had made a transaction of Rs. 36000 /- on my card & was waiting for the statement to come to make the payment. I did not get any statement for the same & started getting reminder call after 3 months stating that amount is due & was charged interest on the same.Post my compalian to them with regards to this, i was assured that all late payment charges & interest will be waived of once i make the payment & i did the same. I have paid all monies due for my transactions done & dont owe anything to Barclays. But, still i get 4 - 5 calls everyday & have been told that i owe Barclays Rs. 12000 / - for which i have not got any statement from them in past 9 months, for which i have registerd a complaint to the Customer Care & the complaint no is CAS 690863;post this i was assured that i will not get any calls post & would recieve my statements on time. But till date their sysment is not update & i am getting call all day long

                        Please help me with as this is causing grave inconvience to me & my work.

                        Barclays Bank — Late Fees and Other Charges are Too much

                        I am Barclays Credit Card user for More than 8 to 10 Months.I have made few tarnsaction on this Card.After many transactions I have obseved the Barclay chargesand Late Fee Charges are too much So I have requested them many time to take the reversal of these charges .But they refused to do that.
                        I requested them to block my card.Also Assure then that I will go for the payment which are used by me as I donnot have money to make the immediate payment.Many time I wrote to block my card and stop the monthly statement .also written about my displeasure to use the barclays card.Still they are generating the statement on Monthly basis and Dr Late fees and Interest charges to me on monthly basis.

                        I have communicated about to block my card so that on monthly basis I won't have any Extra Charges of Late fees and Interest.But till date I didnot received any of reply from Barclays and on Monthly basis they are sending me Statement with lates fees

                        Dear Sir,

                        As per statement dated 6 Nov 09 for Rs. 5315, the payment due date was 26 Nov 09. I drop cheque for same amount in the specify drop box near to my house on dtd. 23rd Nov. 2009. After that that cheque is clear on 3rd Dec 2009 from my bank account & they charged me for late payment charges. It is not my mistake then why should I pay him extra. Please help me on this matter.

                        Hi,

                        Barclays bank has charged interest fee/late fees on my credit card. When i informed the bank that the payment was made on time, they promised to have this charge reversed.... ref no. for that is 5025452.

                        In my next statement, i see the Interest charges reflecting and no reversals have taken place and when i call the bank, they tell me that the request has been declined and no one bothered to inform me until i got to see the statement... contact i spoke to from the bank is Sneha, ref no. - 5118137

                        This is really frustrating when the bank is cheating people like this....

                          Respected Sir,

                          I’ve one query regarding my credit card ? I appreciate if you help me. I had credit card of Barclays Bank and I purchased some items with Barclays credit card, thinking I’ll pay amount when statement will come but I’ve not received statement as it actually come as per billing cycle and also due to heavy work pressure I forgot to make payment. I totally forgot about my payment towards the Barclays credit card and after 8 months I got call from credit card department regarding my dues. I informed them about not received any statement for my expenses and requested for the statement. They said it’ll delivered within time span of one week. Again I never received statement, this time I called customer care and asked for delayed in statement. At that time I came to know they have wrong address on their communication address. I requested him to send statement to my correct address and after a long time I received statement from them but when I checked the statement, I was shocked as the amount was 4500.00/- with late fees, finance charges for almost 1 year. I contacted customer services and asked about the charges which they charged me. They said they look into the matter and asked me to make payment. As this verbal commitment, I asked for written, they hesitate and insisted for making of payment with late fees and finance charges. I did not make the payment as I know if I make the payment they’ll forget the matter and this will affect to my credit report.(You must know now a day’s credit report is so much important). After one month they came back asked me to pay the actual amount which I spent and assured me that they’ll remove my name from CIBIL report. I made the payment which I actually spent. Now I came to know they put me in default list and now when I’m looking for loan, every bank declining based on bad credit on my credit report.
                          Please suggest me what to do in this case as the statement went to wrong address and they are not responding my queries on time. They create bad credit for my credit report which is not correct. Should I contact any legal department for this or contact Barclays or Consumer Guidance Society of India for this issue.

                            This is to inform you that Barclay's Bank PLC is torturing me by giving calls to my residence land phone.I usually go to office at 9:00 AM every day and they call up home as my mother receives this call and she couldn't understand anything as she neither understands English or Hindi the only thing she could get is that they are calling from barclay's bank.I used to neglet these calls as i thought they are casual bank calls from customer care.I got another call on 26th April 2009 saying that i have a outstanding balance of Rs 4740/-.I don't understand the reason behind these calls when i cleared my total outstanding balance.

                            Iam a customer of various other banks and i payout the amount using Net Banking offered by those banks.In case of Barclay's Bank there is no such facility and they also don't have good number of drop boxes for dropping the cheques.This created lot of problems for me in paying the outstanding balance.In the meantime i got transfered from Pune to Hyderabad location on 8th May, 2008.On 23th December 2008, i received a call from advocate to my mobile saying that Barclay's Bank has put a criminal case against me, I told him that iam ready to pay the total outstanding balance and that the case be withdrawn immediately after my payment.On the same day i.e 23rd December 2008, i confirmed the total outstanding balance to be 22, 591/- and payed the same amount to the agency Master Services, Hyd.I also confirmed the amount with the Barclay's representative on phone and i asked him to close my account with barclay's as i won't be using it further.

                            Later whenever i called up the Barclay's Customer Care they didn't respond to my queries for closure of my account and they kept me on hold for long time.

                              Hi, this is K K Rai, my cell no is [protected], card no is [protected], working in Pune, Maharastra, i suppose to charge extra this month due to company policy because my cheque has been reached late, despite I have droped cheque 10 days before due date, payment for Feb09/02/09, amount is 6622, i have droped my cheque in Spencer shop date 28/01/09, paud road, kothroud, pune . 38, and deposited amount in bank against this cheque, due date is 09/02/09 after pasing date i checked bank amount was same, so i called 4 times in call center after that i found executive for answering, i registered request for inquire about lost cheque, she registered and said call after 3 days for confirmation about lost cheque, i called but call center executive said server is down, after 3rd call, she said, cheque not found, and u can pay amount by internet or by direct to executive but might be u have to pay extra charges for late payment, i dont think this is my mistak but i am ready to pay but before paying amount i have to ask the for stop payment of that cheque in bank and i have to pay 100rs for stop cheque, so i am requesting you to don't charge me extra payment because this is not my mistake, i am very much proper in dealing, i think i have been using card since 2 years and i pay my amount time to time, this is second time due to company service i could have to pay, and further stupidity and trouble your call centre neither they try to solve problems nor work out despite increase torturing .

                              Barclays Credit Card — credit amount extra charge

                              we have a barclays credit card ( No.- [protected] ) we used this for arround 3600 Rs . & we paid 1500 Rs as minnium amount of that month however we could not pay the complete amount due to sum finalnial problem and we want to pay balance amount. Bank has included very high monthly interest and we want to pay the basic amount normal rate of the interest . i contracted to the custumercair for the payment thay commeted that if we will pay the minnium amount than thay will activate the cards but when i pay the minnium amount 1500 Rs but cards not activited i connected to custummercair 4-5 time the said it would be activatied . but thay have not activated the cards and last time when i called them up thay said we will not activiced the cards and said whatever you want to do that we will not do . because of that kind of rude response . i did not pay the money i did not gat any call for the payment and they Civil,I wanted to pay the money but due to very poor response i am in truble now . my cell no. is [protected] call me and give me the detail in brief why are you doing so this charges & interest .

                                I received 3 calls from Barclays managers on April 7th regarding my case, those calls were from Mr Raj[protected], Mr Stanely[protected]and Mr Hasan[protected]. Managers were highlighting that I used some strong words during Barclays call conversation which would considered against my case. On April 08 another call received from Barclays manager Ms Amsaa[protected] which again was highlighting this issue at the same time, she wanted to put me in a picture regarding my first case (easy loan) and that she followed up with the case and asked for any number that i used for calling the customer services to register a complaint as no records for my number.

                                Yesterday in the evening, I discussed the matter with my lawyer and i reviewed the recorded calls. The fourth call that I got from Barclays at about 2PM, I was attending the budget meeting when Mr Irfan has started shouting and screaming at me on the phone, I was put in a situation where every one who was near me started to look at me, my action was running for an exit as I didnt want anyone to hear this humiliating part, when I open the outside exit door, one of the workers had spitted and it came on my pants and due to the aggressive call I said that.

                                Barclays managers insisted on defending their staff and highlighting this issue. Probably they were ignoring the fact that we-customers have to be put in a picture that banks calls would be recorded and registered. It is the responsibility of the bank representatives to inform the customers of this, thats why when calling a bank or even when the bank calls customers there will be an automated voice recorded " Thank you for calling----Bank, Please note that this call will be recorded and monitored for quality assurance". Barclays bank staff exceeded that stage by not addressing, greeting or respecting the customers by going directly to the subject "Did you make the payment?" apart from invading the privacy. So basically, I started to believe that the bank policy: Is to humiliate and provoke the customer hoping to get something to be held against the customer legally.

                                Managers were ignoring the fact that this was the fourth call, I mean the previous 3 calls which were full of in humanity heavy language were waived out and passed peacefully. Previous calls were insulting my self, my mother and my father (Ms Amsaa was defending her staff as she heard when they were insulting me and my father but she didnt hear them insulting my mother!!thats why I told her to recall the call conversation and listen carefully and then call me back. I guess she is still doing that as i didnt receive a call back from her". Part of the calls were going even too far away by challenging and provoking "If you were a man enough, you should come to my office in Al Maktoum branch to show you who Iam and to pay" this was the senior staff Mr Emran who supposed to be in a fair position full of customer service having the skills of making the customer happy.

                                Still Barclays managers are pointing their fingers on my Heavy Word during the fourth call and highlighting their professional staff who should be considered as angels. I was put in a situation where i was put under a lot of question marks, a simple example; if it happened and i met someone of you face to face and I started insulting mother and father, the next second I would be in the floor counting my teeth. We only have one father and one mother, and for sure Barclays didnt ask them before giving me credit card, so why Barclays is insulting them now and what for!!!

                                After this call, I called Barclays agent Ms Seema[protected] who had called me the previous day for a customer survey (she was very professional and very loyal to Barclays that she asked to call her for any inquires), I called Ms Seems seeking her help to stop this humiliation and to raise it up to the senior management as I didnt know what to do after the said call, the lady apologized a thousand times during the call and agreed that no matter what, things shouldnt go that far. Ms Seema promised to highlight and raise things to management.

                                Again, Barclays Managers insisting on backing up their staff even though I've been told that concerned staff will be given a warning letter and I dont know how far is that true. Those staff have put their seniors and their employer in a bad situation that they had to call me-the customer for their bad insulting behavior, but at the same time, I am sure that they are living in peace and they are practicing their duties having the management support. Ms Amssa she mentioned that the management team including her self have listened to all phones conversation. But what about the call i received from Mr Amar or Emran ([protected]), Is this belongs to Barclays? If it is, well have it traced as it is full of heavy language and threats (job security threats). If it is not Barclays, so why Emran is calling me using this number? I didnt do anything bad to him, why he is insisting on threatening me? so, we have another different case!.

                                Going back to the first complaint "Easy Loan" which was brought by Ms Amsaa during the call conversation, again i was highlighting the bad customer service that Barclays staff are giving and noone would investigate or even walk the extra mile to follow up and inform the customer. Ms Amsaa was supporting Mr Jijo who was transfered to other department and thats why he didnt reply back on my calls when i placed on his answering machine or private cell phone. She was also supporting My Thahira who was filling the Customer Contact Updates sheet as what ever she liked defending herself and put the blame on the customers; I faced her with her senior Mr Shahbaz who I really admire and appreciate his efforts on my case it was due to him and to Mr Waheed[protected] that a true success added to Barclays. I dont want to say further on the case as no matter what Barclays would keep on supporting its own staff (As they are basically Angels and perfect as they don’t do mistakes), Attached is a copy of what she wrote and the feedback from Mr Shahbaz.

                                Before that, I was hoping to extend my relation with Barclays as I was planning to take a personal loan by transferring my salary, but since I will be dealing with perfect staff, my plans are over because I am just a human being that yes, I am subject to make mistakes. and I believe that people has the right to know this.

                                I am not happy and not satisfied at all with what ever I've been informed by Barclays manager, and as per our conclusion, we have the right to raise things up.

                                HSBC Bank - Dubai — Very poor service!

                                Pls give me the coustmer care email id - by which i can solve me problem.

                                Barclay Credit Card — barclay staff miss used my card

                                i was applied in barclays card and i recived the card on 24th march 2008 but i not recived my pin no
                                incident on 28th march 2008 staff from barclays called me and asked about the card
                                who refered me for barclay credit card then i told him it was in my home at that time i am in office .next two days i went to my home .on 1st april 2008 evening i got a thanking message from barclays then i call the customer care i told that i not used the card then i searched the card in my home but the card was missing
                                Then i complaint to police about the staff of barclays and mobile no .
                                there is no response from barclays .

                                Barclays Credit Card — Unsatisfied & un professional service

                                Below is the mail that i had sent to barclay, s card.

                                I have been using this card for the past 6 months and had a tough time during this period.Recently for the past three months Iam not able withstand the problem that your out sourced people gave.

                                Initially i used to get calls from sparse BPO services to pay my bill.but then after i used to get calls daily from them and keep me disturbing always in spite of day and time.

                                one day i got a call from ahalya the Manager of Sparse BPO service i told her that will drop the cheque in the collection box, she insisted me not to drop the cheque instead she will sent her executive to collect. Since my office is quite away from the city, she requested me to send the courier to her office address which is @ ambattur. The next day she called me and said that the cheque, which I gave contains only card number. She added that it should be as Barclay card & the card number. I told her that i always give the cheque with card number only and not as name and card number. Also, I told her to forward the cheque to the bank and if there is any discrepancy with that cheque, I will take care of that. She promised me that she will forward the cheque to the bank and there was no message.After 10days the people started to call me asking for the payment, then i realised that the cheque is not presented to the bank.i registered a complaint to Barclay customer care and again got a call from sprase BPO, i talked to ahalya again and i told the same thing ie to present the cheque to the bank, but nothing happened. few days later i got a call again and this time i asked them to return the cheque, the guy at the other end told me that the cheque is in suspended state and it will not be returned.i told him that no one has to rights to hold the cheque, i asked him to return the cheque to me and i will give another cheque.he told me that the cheque is damaged and disconnected the call.the next day i got a call again and spoke to the manager the way she spoke to me was unprofessional.


                                After experiencing these thing i decided not to to have any further relationship with barckaycard or barclay's bank.

                                So please let me know the balance that i have to pay in order to cancel this card.

                                This is to inform you that I am the Credit Card Holder of Barclay Bank. They have not sent the statement for last 01 year in spite of several requests through mail and over phone. My purchase amount approximately was Rs.5000/- to Rs.6000/-. But before settling my dues I want them to furnish me statement of account, on which I can make the minimum amount due against my outstanding as per the Credit Card rules of the Bank. I doubt that they must have inflated due amount by levying unduly high interest, late fees, unnecessary service charges etc. But suddenly they have invalidated my card. Not only that they have hired a Goonda (Goons) named as Mr. Walia from Delhi and asking for payment of full amount immediately which as per this goonda is hovering around Rs.15000/-. How can I make the payment immediately ? He is threatening and torturing me over mobile Phone and land line phone. Not only that he has threatened me that he will kill my family. What is this ???. Bank cannot do this legally this type of harassment. He is disturbing my Employer also., which is affecting my mental peace. I am a middleclass family. I agree to pay the minimum amount due in monthly basis against my outstanding as per the Credit card rules of the Bank. I am asking for statement. But he is denying to give me the statement. Continuously he is telling me to make the payment at a time, otherwise they will attack me and my family with their team . Please help me and my family from Goonda of Barclay bank. I think only because of raising late payment fees and service charges and to raise the higher bill, they have made this type of incident. I am 100% agree to pay the minimum amount due against my total outstanding. Gradually I will pay the amount to Bank., but not at a time. I have received atleast 30-40 calls in last month. I have told them not to call me again but instead of listening to me they misbehaved with me and mentioned that they will keep calling me.                                 I agree that we are not receiving credit card statements in time or not at all.
                                Also there sms service is unreliable. I know how to use credit card, but would not like to use Barclay credit card at all. I am keeping it only because it is free for life time.

                                Anyways here it goes regarding your customer service and my feedback on it.

                                My name is Abhijeet Nair and I have been your customer since 2 years approx. I have 2 Credit cards a Platinum and another Titanium credit card. When I had applied for your services I was promised this and that about how you care about your customers and how different you are from the rest of the bank here in Dubai which I believed and now I am cursing the day I had to deal with your bank.

                                The story goes as follows,

                                I had gone to Barclays Bank in Deira for credit card consolidation on both my cards as due to the market conditions I was having some issues and was getting late for paying my credit card bills. i was ad viced to go to the concerned department for consolidation of both the cards and payment can be done into one account through some installments which will be cheaper and beneficial for me as I was having financial issues.

                                I submitted all my documents with salary certificate to bank statements etc etc (Normal Procedure). While submitting the documents I was told my Debt Service Ratio was high and I was not eligible for this scheme, which really I fail to understand. ( If i am applying for this scheme obviously I have issues in payment hence I need help, not when I have cash and I need help. Really Strange!!!)

                                Anyways I then told the guy I have already cleared one of my Auto Loan which will not be showing from the coming months and by DSR will be eligible for this scheme. I even submitted my mortgage release letter and all necessary documents which stated I have cleared my outstanding. As expected I was told to wait for a month so that in my next statement that deduction will not be shown. As they say beggars are not chooser's I waited patiently and showed them the following months documents where on the concerned date no deduction was made and I also had sufficient funds into my account.

                                But to my utter shock the management comes back to me saying your case has been rejected as the bank feels I have told the bank which deducts that particular amount to hold the cheque and not represent it for few days. Now which bank does this????????????????????

                                I have never come across any bank that can hold the payments for a customer till he wishes to pay and not represent the cheque. THIS IS A UTTER NON SENSE reply.

                                I am so disgusted with this bank that I will make it a point that none of my friends or family ever deals with your bank so as to save them from your torture. Client service is no where to be found but yeah NO SERVICE is fully present in your bank

                                Now I don't have any option but try to arrange funds and pay your bank ASAP so I avoid future torture or your future policies. If a bank cannot help their client during the need, the client should never deal with such a bank. I am so SORRY i had to be a part of your Client Base.

                                P.S. I applied for the same consolidation with 2 Local banks here and GUESS WHAT.. Got the consolidation approved without any documents just via phone call in 5 Min's FLAT

                                That's how a you set an example of proper customer service which you people clearly lack.

                                I Have just got a call from the Barclays Bank Credit card dept from UAE no.[protected]. I fotgot the name of the personnel even if he called me like the N-th time now. He was shouting like a mad dog!!! Very arrogant, un-educated, with no respect and take note of threathening me of what he can do because I have paid but less AED 200 (the other card I paid more and the other one I paid less sine I wasnt aware of how much I will pay for the month as THEIR STATEMENT IS ALWAYS COMING VERY LATE). I have 2BC (Visa and Mastercard) but both have are totalling to just one credit limit, (so genius for the company to do it and charge the client separately).. Anyways, this guy shouted like i have killed someone and he wanted to kill me too!! It is just very frustrating as he and the others who do this represent the company as a whole and it gives a negative image on the corpotation per se. I have no intestion whatsoever to hide or runaway. It's just that sine they already charged me the late payment then I would rather wait for the next bill as it'll reflect the new charges to be paid..I have suggested to let their representative come even on my working hours but they have to remove the late charges that they already have charged me. Mathematically and logically it is valid. Otherwise, let him keep quiet and wait to run the next statement..For Barclays bank, I suggest for you to cascade all your representatives at it has a very bad impact to the company having them shouting at us. Anyways, if not without us, BC clienst, they will not be able to get their salary every end of the month. Unless, they are paid to do that?????
                                Barclays is being a headache for me now...They charged me with 500 AED for the maintanence charge..which was communicated to me as the first year will be free of the charges.

                                I call Barclay s once in a day and they always tells me that the complain department will contact me.

                                I have all the calls recorded with them, and not only me we are 10 guys in the office who will put a case of fraud.

                                  The following complaint was made on 25/03/2009 to Barclays & matter is still pending because they have not shorted it out.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                                  I am holding you banks times card no.[protected]. On 23/01/09 I recd. a call from telephone no.[protected] at around 3.22p.m and the person calling said he is calling from Barclaycard and my card will be ungraded to platinum card with extra feature & high credit limit and he told that he is transferring call to ICICI Lombard & I have to show interest in their policy so that Barclaycard will get an transaction, in the mean time Barclay will block my card & nothing will be debited to my card and he first transferred the call to his seniors Mr. Deepak and to his boss Mr. Rajesh & to his boss Mr. Joy all of them were saying same thing that nothing to worry not a single pane will be debited to my card account. (Just for your reference the person from Barclay & lady from ICICI Lombard were calling from same no. i.e[protected].

                                  But when I received my card statement in the month of March’09 I wall shocked to see that my credit card account is showing Debit account and I registered complaint in your Gurgaon Customer service no.[protected] with a complaint no. 1208965 for cancellation of policy which I never wanted.

                                  On23/03/2009 I recd. a SMS from Barclay that ”Dear Customer your insurance complaint could not be attended as you could not be contacted for resolution.” Whereas I mobile is 24hours open & twice or thrice I recd. call from[protected] regarding cancellation of policy I always said that I am not interested in this policy and I don’t want if at any cost.

                                  From the above facts you will also come to know that Barclays & ICICI Lombard has cheated me, if this matter will not be sorted out immediately I will send my Barclay card cut into four pcs. And will take this matter to consumer court.

                                  This has reference to my card no [protected] and my complaints
                                  to you on 30th June & 9th July 2008 and your reply dtd. 30th June 2008.

                                  So far there has been no response to my grievence from your end.

                                  However, I am being repeatedly harassed by your people for the payment of the bill even though I have made it very clear that the payment in full would be effected upon redressal of my complaint. On an average I am recieving 15 calls per day from your call centre people regarding clearing of the bill. This has become a total nuisance to me. There is a mistake in the billing amounting to more than Rs.7500.00 which I have brought to your notice and instead of rectifying this or adressing this issue you have resorted to gimmicks and harassment in the guise of recovery.

                                  Please be asuured that I will make the payment only upon satisfactory redressal of my grievance. I reserve my rights under law to take appropriate action if you continue to harass me further.

                                  Barclay Credit Card — Mental harassment

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I am using Barclay card for past one year. This month unfortunately i couldnt pay the money on time, same day they called me & i informed them that i am not in a position to pay my dues this month because currently i am jobless so i will my dues next month with fine. Inspite of giving this information they again called me for about 20 times a day this is giving me a mental pressure. Kindly take necessary action.

                                  I have been recieving calls from similar no. but nobody talks to me. I mean they just give me a ring or two and disconnect. To find out who the caller is, I searched google and got this post on this no. Now i am scared that if i may face similar issues. I will keep you posted on this. In the mean time you too please keep writing what happened in your case.
                                  Same case happened to me also. I have call to costumer care for complaint but there is no information give nto me regarding to offer as mentioned above. The first call recived at my end was on 25 or 26 apr and till date there is no update from person Mr Samir / Mr Vivek / one lady but she do not agree to declare her name. The coplaint no provide from Barclay is CAS133649.

                                  HOPE THAT BARCLAY WILL TAKE NECESSORY ACTION.

                                    This is really horrible, they are making loans as a profit making business, even i applied for the loan they said nothing about the insurance, finally when the load is approved i got 15000 deducated from my loan amount with 15000 they have deducated as a processing fee and insurance charges.<br />

                                    Also this month i already paid the monthly emi as cash to the collection manager, but still they did not cancelled the ECS and as a result i need to pay the ECS return fee to my citibank account that count to 2.5 % of the EMI amount.<br />

                                    Wht the use of taking loan from such a reputated bank that even do not help with this normal work around.<br />

                                    Please do the needful.
                                    The ECS cancellation fees is RS 250, The Service taxes and other charges is 25.75

                                    This is to inform you that I have been telling your call center executives to send some one to me & have the EMI collected in cash from me every month. I have been telling this for the last SEVEN MONTHS. I have clearly instructed the your call center that I have stopped dealing with my bank (SBI) & the ECS should not be sent to my bank. Every month your call center people call me & say that the ECS has bounced. Every month I have to dictate my office address over and over again. Your call center people do not understand simple English nor Hindi. You have a bunch of foolish & uneducated staff. They always say that my call is being recorded, if so why don't they play that recording & stop wasting my time. Today (07/08/2010) again some Ruksana Siddique calls me at 2:18pm from [protected] & the entire story had to be repeated. Last month this same female had called me where she had confirmed that my instructions & office details have been updated in her records. Today when I told her that all this has been going on since 7 months, she flatly refused & told me that I was SPEAKING LIES & they don't have any such instructions. (IN HINDI " AAP JHOOT BOL RAHE HO"). LISTEN TO THE RECORDING.
                                    YOU HAVE SUCH ILLITERATE & MANNER LESS BUNCH OF FOOLS IN YOUR CALL CENTER.
                                    PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT GOING TO MAKE ANY PAYMENT UNLESS I GET A WRITTEN APOLOGY FROM YOUR BANK & THE MANNER LESS FEMALE.
                                    Also not that this loan was supposed to last for 30 months, but it still continues. I want my statement of account immediately.

                                      Hello Officer,

                                      I am holding Barclays Credit Card for more than an year. Till before the problem started with them everythgn was fine between us.
                                      In Febraury 2008 they started to call me for selling BPC (Barclays Priority Cicle) offer, thenc alled again in march, April and May 2008; which finally i took because i was scheduled to marry in July 2008, hence thinking of the benefits which they might pass in shopping and leisure i accepted it, based on the condition that i will get the welcome kit in 15 days of my payment against it.

                                      As per the agreement (which was discussed, made & done on Phone - No paper work till then eventhough i had asked for it) they should have sent me the welcome kit (includes Vouchers & Bag) within 15 days of receipt of payment (was done in last week of May and money was deducted in first week of June) but even after end of 2 months there was no communication or mailer from Barclays.
                                      On that i called BPC in first week of August to enquire about the whereabouts of welcome kit; on which they said it was not yet dispatched. And they said that it is a mistake on there part (1st).

                                      But by then i was frustrated and irritated by the lackluster response and improper service by Braclays & i told them i do not need the offer anymore and they must refund my money; which after lot of discussion they finally agreed to refund and said it will be done in some days and welcome kit will not be sent.

                                      However in another one week, the welcome kit reached my place (2nd) which was received by someone else and sicne then i had been asking them if they follow any process and if they stand by what they told there customer. Later i asked them to take back the welcome kit and refund the money.
                                      But they said they cannot take it back, although they again agreed to the mistake (3nd) on there part.
                                      Since then i spoke many times to agents of Collection department, Dispute department & BPC, to pursue the matter and give me the solution (i.e. refund of money & clear off my account).

                                      Instead of doing that (which they said they are looking inot the matter and will do needful) they kept on levying me with late fine, finance charges & interest sicne August. And since then talking to me in nonsense manner (4th).
                                      Finally in December i lodged a complaint with Them with number # CAS 741873. But till date they did not do anything, but one of there agents called in december and said taht my account is inactive and hence officers cannot resolve the issues, hence she asked me to pay Rs.1210=00 and re-activate it, which i did, but till date not solution (5th). Instead they threaten me of CIBIL rating.

                                      Later in January 2009, i wrote them on [protected]@barclays.com, to escalate the amtter to there senior officers. But they are more lethargic in taking care of the matter. And each time i mail them, they take a couple of weeks to reply to any query and most of the time not a word from them, and they reply of multiple reminders. However, they diligenlty come back saying they cannot do anything about the matter and cannot (6th) refund money but i will need to pay for it. Before that they asked me to send back Welcome Kit then they will refund, i did that in January & February 2009.

                                      There agents are never updated(7), they say it is system genrated call and they do not have any information about the problem, but they want me to explain it always. I ahve spent more than 200 hr.s expalining & talking to them; but they still keep threatning me.

                                      Kindly undertake my compaint and let me know how do i pursue it. I cannot take the harrasment of taking to them anymore, and every single agent asks me about the smae stupid thing.
                                      I need to tell them if somebody takes there Credit Card, doesn't me they get a right to harass the person.
                                      They should compensate me of all the above problem & mistakes (in brackets).

                                      Barclay Credit Card — Phone harassment & levying charges even when payment Made

                                      My barclay card no is :[protected].
                                      Actually my card limit is 10000. From begin to till date i have purchased as per bank record Rs: 96,530.35/. But i have purchased Rs:96,487.87/. In that time paid Rs:96,520.00/. As per my calculation i have paid extra Rs:32.13/.
                                      Daily Somebody calls every half an hour, saying from barclays bank, and you need to pay rs 23,000 DEMANDING PAYMENT sometimes more than 20 times per day. If you did't pay the amount means we will come to your home. They are threatening me. I contemplated taking my own life, commiting suicide because of pressure brought on me by Barclay Finance. I informed my intentions to them and still the calls are coming, its getting to the point when I think there is nothing now worth living for, and will end my life.
                                      for which Barclay finance should be held responsible. Thank You.

                                        I have received the card vide your letter no.2961482 dated 23rd April08.After about two months I had a call from priority circle for its membership. I have told that I will join provided If am sent with the pamphlets/brochures for study and confirmation. But, it is highly unfortunate that without my confirmation and consent they have credited Rs. 5000/- from the credit limit. Since then I have been paying interest, over limit fee, late fee etc for no reason. My debit amount /outstanding has been constantly increased because your mistake. For the past 11months I am in the state of depression. Also, I have been paying thousands of rupees for wrong accounting.

                                        There fore, I request your good office to look in to it immediately and do the needful by deducting the premium of Rs. 5000/- along with the interest and fees, taxes, extra limit due to the addition of that 5000/-, late fee charges etc accrued from the said amount for the last 11 months.

                                        Your immediate action is requested in this regard. I have tried many times to contact the priority circle, all gone in vain. Kindly rectify and regularize the same at once.
