Dear Sir,

I have received the statement with the due date of Jan’01, 2009.
My credit limit reduced from Rs 59000/- to Rs 23000/-. without the confirmation.
Being a valuable customer it’s not fair & cheat, it was come to my notice when gone for the shopping.
I m not going to continue this card & ready to pay the principal amount at the earliest.
As per me following are the payments pending principal toward Barclay’s card .

Barclay Cards — REDUCED CREDIT LIMIT WITHOUT INFORMATION

How the card limit can be reduced without intimation.It is not the way to reduce the card limit.They are charging overlimit on that.

i am trying to Settlement from Feb, 10 but whenever i talk to Customer care, it's always told me please talk to Settlement Department.

Dear Sir,
This Sam from Bangalore.I had a Barclay card No.[protected].I used this for nearly four months from Feb 2008 onwards. My July Payment Rs.1591 due date is 28-Jul-2008.I put the cheque in their drop box on 25-Jul-2008.They received on 29 -Jul-2008.For this that put some late payment charges .I paid only the actual amount & I called & told them I can’t pay any additional amount because this is not my mistake & since then I didn’t use their card also.
Then later Jan 2009 I got a call from them ask me to pay some amount and made the settle ment.Because of that their agecncy in Bangalore – BAS Infomedia Private Limited collectedRs.200 from me & gave the receipt also.Herewith I attached the copy of that one for your reference.Until now I didn’t receive confirmation letter from them.
Now when I try to apply for a bank loan CIBIL report is saying I have Rs.7524 outstanding with them I have to pay .I called them several times & they asked me to send a mail to [protected]@barclay.com . I got a reply from them I will a reply within 7 days.But 7 days are also over they didn’t reply.So I called them today several times they are not responding properly.So pls help me to what I want to do.

    dear sir,
    i have never given my consent to the priority circle facility on my barclays credit card no.[protected]. even after i have got the statement with the charges for this service..i have deposited the minimum balance due to me even without using the card once..vi
    the receipt no. c258269 (Rs. 370 ) and receipt no c 381591 (Rs. 400 ). i was assured by the caller that after paying this my priority circle facility will be auto matically deactivated .. please deactivate the service which i have never applied..

      Dear Sir,
      I am Yogesh Kumar Savita, My complaint against Barclaycard Credit Card. Sir in my November Statement the Bank charge some expense for Rs. 6741.60 against the Barclaycard Priority Circle fee without my permission. When I ask the bank why charge the fee for this facility then the bank replied to me this is your membership fee for the holiday package. Sir when I ask to bank I am not interest to your this offer please reverse this amount then bank ask sorry you will pay this amount we cannot reverse this amount. Sir I write a letter to bank for this request on dated[protected] but no reply from the bank side. Then on dated[protected] I write a letter to bank for submit the card and drop the bank drop box. After the submit card the bank call for me and forced to me the payment daily. So sir please my request to you please take action against Barclay Bank to do not force the payment. I hope you understand my problems and take a legal action against the bank.

      Barclaycard / Credit card — Not Sending the Statement

      Hello Everybody,

      Hi, I am Hare Krishna Kumar here. Around three to four months back I received Barclaycard on the present address. Since then in spite of giving complaint several time they are not sending the statement, but are always demanding money. They have my email id and several time I have confirmed them my present email-id/house address, they are not even sending online statement. When I pressurised them to send atleast online statement then 5-10 day back they sent one word document with screen shots image into it which can not be read. For other banks like ICICI and HDFC I receive online statement every month in PDF format with password protection which is nothing but the scanned copy of original statement. Hence paying them is not a problem for me. But Barclays is really harassing me by calling again and again and moreover now they are blackmailing me by sending me email containing line "We request you to make a minimum payment immediately by Cash to avoid hot listing."

      They write:

      "We would like you to take note on sharing of information relating to defaulters. With this initiative all Banks will have on-line information on any defaulter with other member banks. Inclusion in this list could hamper several opportunities for you. Your credit rating will be impaired and you may not be granted any credit or Loan facilities when you approach any bank in India. This may extend to Non Banking Finance Companies & Cellular Phone Companies. This list may also be used by Consulates in maintaining the list of defaulters."

      This is the height. I have never said that I will not pay. I am just requesting them to send me the statement so that I can know my usage/bill generation date and what all other charges they are putting. This is my right to know. In last four month twice I have done the minimum payment once they assured me that they will send me the statements and I will not have any complaint in future regarding this.

      When I pressurised them that I am not receiving the statement then they say that they have already sent the statement via Express Courier and statement has been received by some person named Kalyan who is my brother. This is false, as I don't have any brother named Kalyan and moreover I live only with my family including my wife and two kids.

      Now it seems it is pick time and I should file complaint against Barclaycard as well as Express courier as both of them are harassing me a lot. My request is very simple give me the statement and take the payment. I will not pay any late charges and other misc. charges which has incurred only because I have not received the statement.

      Barclay card — with using the card bank has charged fees

      I have been charged Rs. 6741.6 Without using my card. I have received a sms on my mobile from Barclay card a statement stating that "Your Barclay card statement has been generated on 17-Nov-08 and will reach you in the next few days. Total Deu:Rs.6741.6 DR Min Due:Rs340 and Due Date: 08-Dec-08".so I want to cancel my Barclay card.I hope that the request may be completed from your side.

      Dear Sir,

      This is to inform you that I am the Credit Card Holder of Barclay Bank. They have not sent the statement for last 01 year in spite of several requests through mail and over phone. My purchase amount approximately was Rs.5000/- to Rs.6000/-. But before settling my dues I want them to furnish me statement of account, on which I can make the minimum amount due against my outstanding as per the Credit Card rules of the Bank. I doubt that they must have inflated due amount by levying unduly high interest, late fees, unnecessary service charges etc. But suddenly they have invalidated my card. Not only that they have hired a Goonda (Goons) named as Mr. Walia from Delhi and asking for payment of full amount immediately which as per this goonda is hovering around Rs.15000/-. How can I make the payment immediately ? He is threatening and torturing me over mobile Phone and land line phone. Not only that he has threatened me that he will kill my family. What is this ???. Bank cannot do this legally this type of harassment. He is disturbing my Employer also., which is affecting my mental peace. I am a middleclass family. I agree to pay the minimum amount due in monthly basis against my outstanding as per the Credit card rules of the Bank. I am asking for statement. But he is denying to give me the statement. Continuously he is telling me to make the payment at a time, otherwise they will attack me and my family with their team . Please help me and my family from Goonda of Barclay bank. I think only because of raising late payment fees and service charges and to raise the higher bill, they have made this type of incident. I am 100% agree to pay the minimum amount due against my total outstanding. Gradually I will pay the amount to Bank., but not at a time. Please spare me from this Goonda which has been hired by Barclay bank that is completely illegal. For your information, I have been receiving these threatening calls from [protected], [protected]. This Goonda already has given the threatening to my aged father also. He is mentally upset and he is now Heart patient. Please relief from Barclay bank ‘s Goonda.

      My name is ashok kumar das i am an your barclay credit card holder ( card no.[protected])i never used this card but i got steatment your genarated date is 12.02.08 and chargeble amount is 3770/= wich i dont know, frist ofall i recived this card on march 2008 so how it possible i use this card, then i call your callcenter they told me this amount charge to you for icici lumbord insurance.i told them i dont want this policy can you cancell it person told me you can contact with icici lumbord.then i calld icici lumbord i told them i dont want this policy can you cancellit they told me ok no problem we will cancell withen 48 hrs. then i got a policy cancellation letter from icici lumbord.
      but i regulerly monthly bassis geting steatment with letfee.i contact with your callcenter but they dident takecare of my problem.i regulerly getting call from your card deoartment regarding outstanding payment.i said i am not going to any amount why should i pay i dident use your card.even icici lumbord refound the mony to you on 25.02.2008 Rs.1885/= and after that on 20.05.2008 Rs.1885/= now you tell me why should i have to pay any more amount.now afrer few month you all put my name in cibil, now you tell me what should i have to do can i to the media or cousumer court for your silly mistake and herassment beacouse i have all the proof.so i requiest to you please solve my problem as soon as possiblem, i hope you look this matter personaly and get back to me as soon as possible

        I have registered a complaint about the late payment charges on my a.c with barclays and i was advised that somebody from Barclay's will call and keep me updated about my complaint .. no one called back and informed me and when i called back again i was advised that the complaints has been declined and reversal cannot be done no one called to informed this now my concern is if the request was declined why no one from barclays called me when i was advised someone from barclays will ring back.. and now i have been charged again late payment charges as it was not sorted out in the 1st place ... and now i am getting threatening calls and MSG from the bank advising about the payment which is in dispute can some one help me out
        The last date of the due date was 29th Sep. I deposited the cheque in the cheque drop bos on 27th and payment was credited in their records on 7th october. A Statement was sent the next month for late payment charges and finance charges. I called the customer care and registered my request. The reply i got was that they are forwarding the request and will sort out and get back to me. Till date they have not called back inspite of my repeated calls. Infact they made atleast 5 system generated calls but no one speaks once i pick up. they have increased the due amount to about Rs. 2700/= now. I have talked to them personally many times but every time i get a reply that your request is already forwarded. I should have not been levied any charge for the period from the date when i registered my complaint and they sorted out. 2. so many unspoken calls has disturbed my life. What should I do.

              Barclays Membership service — I have paid the amount almost 5 months back still not got the kit

              Hi,

              Barclays called up and told me about the membership details based upon my Barclays card. I agreed i paid the amount of 5000 rs.

              Now it has been almost five months i have not received that kit which they promised me to send in 10 days. I have called them almost 7 to 8 times each time they say we will send it we will send it.

              They are not even giving any email or number of there higher authorities so i can at least talk to them .

              It is really frustrating every time call up they u will get in 10 to 15 days and then nothing happens.

              This is the wrost service i have seen by any bank. I think the only way is to file a legal complaint for the same.
              My loan account no. is LC[protected] and i have taken my loan on 08/09/2008, i live in thane i need statement till this month so that i can submit for income tax deduction.
              i have applied for personal loan of Rs.1, 50, 000/- last week with one of your executive named Aryan (mobile No. [protected]) and handed over five blanked cheques alongwith the paper signed by me. Till now, we have not received the loan amount and try to contact Mr. Aryan but in vain. He is not picking my phone and when ring rang he just disconnect my phone. This is my first experience with Barclays Investment and very bad experioence. Now i don't want any loan from Barclays Invement and just want my cheques back immediately. Is there anybody who can return my cheques.

              I Shri Ashirwad Sambhaji Shahare had taken loan of Rs.163000/- in the month of october'08 for a period of 48 months. Till date I have paid my EMI regularly up to the month of august'10 and Now on 14/08/2010, I made full and final payment of my loan mentioned anove with foreclosure charges .The chaque also cleared from my bank on 18/08/10. When I enquired about certificate of closure saying no outstanding dues at kalyan branch, District -Thahe, Maharashatra, the working officer namely Bazmin shaikh, Customer Relationship Manager who is working at said branch told me to keep sufficient amount in my bank for deduction of next EMI for the month of september'10 if my name has not been deleted from the list of EMI . The EMI deducted after making full and final payment of my loan will be refunded later on. It is not understood even after making full and final payment of my loan why has not been deleted my name from the list of EMI immediately as soon as you receiced payment.The finance company who had reputed name in the Market is giving answer like this then who will believe on the working of the company. The company may lose the reputation and business in the future and may make huge losses.It is bettrer to improve the policy for fast workingfor better future of the company. I kindly request you to please delete my name from the list of EMI as I already make full and final Payment of my loan and issue me NO OUTSTANDING LOAN CERTIFICATE IMMEDIATELY and also send my blank cheques taken at the time of changeing bank for deduction of EMI of loan.

              Dear Sir,
              Kindly waive the wrongly charged Interest on delay of two Installments. This happened due to takeover o[censored]nited Western Bank by IDBI during which time the Bank was closed for all transactions. This was a Force Majeure condition. While collecting the replacement IDBI Bank cheques in place o[censored]WB cheques towards balance installments nothing was mentioned about the Interest component. Why? Silence on this issue then may have favoured you not me. Please issue the NOC without further harrasment to your customer.

                Dear sir,

                I have barclays card from march 08 last two months am not recieved statement.dec month i called customer care centre they said out standing rs:692 cheque date 29 th dec.then i deposit the cheque rs:700 on 27 th at local collection centre. jan 09 month also am not recieved statement i called customer care they said your payment is recieved on 31 st so we will put on charge for rs:712.then i called them they no responce. i called 15 times they said we are not revaisel the amount.i send mail also no rsrponce pls help.

                  Barclays Bank has been charging delayed payment charges inspite of the fact that I have been dropping the cheque much in advance eg I dropped my cheque on 19thDec. for payment due on 28th Dec. 08.

                  I paid the first delayed payment and sought reversal but again I have been charged in Jan 09 for no fault of mine.

                  When I sent a mail to Head service no response has come . Even the RBI guidelines of mentioning the telephone No. of Head service on the statement is not followed. The Bank is fleecing people of their hard earned money.

                  I am holding Credit card No.[protected] of Barclays Bank. I had received credit card statement around 13/01/2009 through e-mail, the payment due date is 28/01/2009. I had already deposited cheque in Sky Drop Box on 25/01/2009 at Sky Drop Box Near to Kotak Bank, Panorma Complex, Alkapuri, Vadodara. But I have not received acknowledge message against my payment on my mobile, I had also inform through e-mail the payment details. I have been charged twice for late payment inspite of timely payment.
                  Barclays Bank has been charging delayed payment charges inspite of the fact that I have been dropping the cheque much in advance eg I dropped my cheque on 26th Dec, 08 for payment due on 28th Dec. 08.

                  I paid the first delayed payment and no reversal from your end. I tried to call on your toll free number unfortunately its out of order, somehow I arranged to call Mumbai customer care centre and confirmed reversal entry will be reflected in next statement i.e.08/02/2009 but again I don’t want to face the same problem for no fault of mine.

                  Request them to check with Sky Drop Box for my cheque.

                  after 3 days i checked with Customer care that they haven't received the cheque, then they have called me by 5/10/08 and informed that the cheque was invalid.

                  There after i asked them to return the cheque but they told it would take a week, so i have dropped ( another cheque in the same drop box (Adyar, Chennai).

                  after 10 days they have paid late fee first when i called customer care they told that the cheque was invalid. but now they sent mail that they haven't received my cheque (First Cheque Date: 24/09/08 )

                  It's true they are really fleecing people, they can beg directly don't cheat the people indirectly

                    Dear sir,
                    I have received the message from Barclay card 15-Jan-2009.To my shock an amount of Rs. 6741 /- charged as Barclay Priority Circle fees.In the first week of November, I got a call from Barclay and told about Barclay Priority Circle and told that I need not pay anything for this offer. But they have charged for the same. Also my card is in Blocked status.

                    I raised a complained on 15.01.2009 To Barclay customer care (852068). They say they will look into the request immediately But nothing has happend.

                    Barclays Priority Circle — Cancellation of priority cirle

                    Sir,

                    I have requested for the cancellation of my credit card and the cancellation of the priority circle.But it was not cancelled and the charging money and telepphonically harrashing me.

                    I have not used the credit card and I have not yet activated it since it was lost.

                    Barclays Priority Circle — Not made any reversal of Priority circle program

                    My name is Phanikumar.
                    i got a call from Barclays Priority Circle program stating that i got the eligibility to avail the Priority circle program and been informed that there would be a charge of Rs 5000 for the same.
                    i also heve been told about the following offers..
                    1) a free travel bag
                    2) a free holiday voucher
                    3) a fixed 30% discount on any purchage using my barclays card.

                    Afterwards i got another cal from the Pririty circle executive stating that the discount would range from 5% to 30%. But till the time the fee (5000) has been debited from my card account.
                    on 19th September 2008, I have called the Priority circle on the given nuymber[protected] for the reversal of the particular scheme as I havent been provided with the correct information..
                    they have given the assurance for the reversal.
                    But it hasnt been done till now...
                    I got the statement for the month of October 2008 in which there was no Reversal of the above said program. Even iam still getting the message that the travel bag(which is one of the offers under this program) has been disbursed .
                    I just wanted let the readers know how this bank is trying to make the card holders, fools.
                    Barclay bank is "bhikari bank", this is new style of collecting money "BARCLAY PRIORITY CIRCLE IS FAKE",
                    I too am facing the same problem.

                    I came across reviews of BPC offer after I accepted it, and immediately I telephoned and emailed them that I don't want the membership. Yet, membership charges are levied on my card account.

                    Barclay service is worst, and even their nodal officer does not reply.

                    I am going to lodge complaint with Banking Ombudsman, and also approach Consumer Court, if required.

                    Barclay is a big cheat. People should not even think of dealing with them. Force them to shut their business in India.

                    i monika.r.bhatia, here by inform you that my barclays credit card#[protected].i had received call from[protected] for the offer of barclays priority circle membership(further denoted by BPCM)as per my conversation over phone to your executive, i am damn sure that there was no mention of the charge of rs 6000/-.i just called the calling person to first send me the details of the offer for BPCM and after that i'll decide.on 22nd oct.i got the sms reflecting "welcome letter has been despatched"and still fees wasn't mentioned.
                    but when i got my november 2008 statement of barclays card, i was shocked because in that amount of rs 6000/- asBPCM along with service tax of rs 741.60 was debited in my account.and found that i was cheated by the calling person of the BPCM.then i called on[protected] i.e.BPCM #and i gave my complaint.from there i was told that my all previous calls has been recorded and they will listen to that and will be able to reply after 72 hrs, after 72 hrs i again called there and this time i was told that their system has occured some problem so i again have to wait for 72 hrs.
                    i called again after 72 hrs, this time they said that BPCM charges can't be cancelled because they heard the recorded conversation .but when i said i too wanted to listen that recording, they refused it by saying that they do not have the facility to make me hear.i requested them to give me my complain # they refused for that also.
                    through this mail i request you please solve my problem as soon as possible and please cancell my BPCM.

                    Barclay — Fraud by Barclays Priority Circle

                    Hi,

                    My name is Siddharth Choudhary. I posses a Barclay's card no. About a month ago, I received a call from Barclay priority circle saying that I can get a free bag and some goodies FREE OF COST and after asking repeated question about any hidden charge, the person from the Barclay priority circle convinced me of no charge.

                    Now, a week ego they sent a bill stated outstanding bill of Rs. 6741.6/-. I am shocked to see the bill as I was told of no charge. I have called Delhi office of Barclay Priority Circle on[protected] but they are denying the fact of information about the charge and said that I have to pay the price. I am surprise by this misleading policies and information provided by your bank.

                    I have written to them for investigating the matter but they simply don't bother to even reply.

                    My father is a Legal Advisor in Ministry of Law & Justice, Govt. of India. I am thinking of dragging them to court as other innocent people don't get caught into their trap through fraud.

                    I will also write to many national newspapers like Hindustan Times, Times of India, Economics Times etc. These Barclay Priority Circle people should be punished and innocent customers should be alert and close their accounts in this fraud bank.

                    Barclays Priority Circle — Reverse Fees of BPC

                    Sir,

                    A few days back I received a call from Barclay Priority Circle claiming for great packages for free of cost and I had informed them that am NOT interested in the offer. Yet still I got a confirmation call for the same offer but this time with charges of Rs. 6000/- and I had strongly said to them a Strict NOOOOOOO. Even after all this they have sent me a statement of Rs. 6000/- + service tax.

                    On contacting them they claim to have reheard the "Confirmation call" recordings & further claim that i had given the consent for the same. I had asked them to reveal the recordings in public & they say it can't be done.

                    I have also sent them a mail asking them to revert the charges.

                    I have forwarded the same complaint to the Indian Consumer complaint forum. I wish to extend my complaint to the RBI

                    I have also stated to launch an FIR against the bank regarding the same

                    I, Sridhar holding BARCLAYS Credit Card No. [protected]. Since 06/08, i have been charged an amount of 6741.60/- as a membership fee from Barclays Priority circle... which was told to me as free service.. Inspite of my repeated asking the charge structure was never told to me and it was told that it is absolutely free and i have to pay nothing for this membership.



                    i had received a call from Delhi office of BARCLAYS BANK from[protected] in month of October 08 and the exeutive told me that My name is selected for Priority circle facility... i repetedly asked him about charges, he told me its free of cost again and again. They had recorded for quality assurance also but the charges and amount was nowhere conveyed. Even i have not received any documentation from Barclays till date.



                    I had called up BARCLAYS BANK Call center regarding this matter, but they said that they will look into the matter and get back to me, but nobody is giving me any response in this matter..I have written numerous mails to [protected]@barclays.com and [protected]@barclays.com which they have acknowledged also.Their email reference nos are [protected], [protected], [protected].In one of their mails they told me that they would have reversed the charges had i called them within 21 days of debit. the bank should have sent an sms whenever theres debit to customer card which barclays never did as other banks do. had i received an sms regarding the charges i would have complained for reversal then and there itself. I think Barclays very well knows how to cheat and fool innocent customers who fall prey to their promotional gimmicks. Customers should receive sms for all debits to their card so that they can be assured that the cardis not being used fraudelently.

                    I have also given emailst to reverse my charges, and that i will not pay the amount at any cost., Now everyday iam receiving 7-8 calls from collection department regarding payment to which i have denied and asked them to reply to mails and solve my dispute. I am tormented and mentally harrased .

                    I have been holding HSBC and ICICI credit cards for last 5 years in which there has never been default. Now Barclays is pestering me that they will refer my name to CIBIL that i am a defaulter and i will have problems in getting loans in future. This is just very tormenting.



                    Please help me in this matter, otherwise the bank will put me in defaulter list unnecessary...

                    Barclays Airtran Visa has messed me over 3 times. They offered 0% on balance transfers. Their sneaky little trick goes like this: They will send you this offer; then you sign their documents promising no interest for one year. Although you submit the balance transfer by the required date, they don't give the money transfer to the card that your paying of[censored]ntil 1-2 weeks after their "GREAT 0% TRANFER." When you call them, they say that a supervisor will get back with you. Usually they don't; if they do, they lie to you saying, "Oh, I'm sorry that a mistake was made, we will have it fixed right away." As you have probably already guessed this NEVER happens. They do not stick to there written policy that you do not make payments until the issue is resolved. Their contract also states that if you pay your bill every month, then no interest is charged. They did that to me every month for 4 months before I figured it out. The representative told me I have paperless statements and flatly refused to send me "paper statement." If anyone knows where I can complain and get action, please e-mail me. Does a department of the FDIC regulate these low lifes? Any information from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I may have to write another line for the old saying: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me thrice, get me a psychiatrist.

                      Dear Sir,

                      This is to bring to your notice of your office the harassment issues faced by me from Barclays Bank plc (Credit card division). I had taken a new card from them in the month of July`08 no. [protected]. I had opted for both hard copy as well as soft copy of my outstanding statement. My first statement was due to me in the month of August`08. To my surprise I get a call for non payment sometime in the mid of the month. They claim to have delivered my statement at my flat building to someone named Vijay( whom I don’t even know neither we have any security by that name in our building). Plus the email address was wrongly entered by their processing department and hence the statement never reached. Once they submitted the duplicate bill I had promptly cleared the outstanding on the 24th of August`08. In between I had a lot of follow up calls from them claim it is not their fault and hence I need to pay interest for the delay.

                      I had decided to discontinue the card for the harassment meted to me will calls on weekends, holidays, innumerous SMS s etc. My next statement was due for 13th of Sept`08 and I cleared my usage of Rs 24, 966/- on the 12th of Sept`08 which was subsequently cleared on the 16th of the same month. Cheque no 446949 dtd 12th sept`08 ICICI bank- MG Road Bangalore.

                      After repeated exchange of mails with the head service dept of their HO in Mumbai they reversed the interest on the card charges for the August delay.

                      Now for the past 4 months I have been regularly harassed with dire consequences for non payment of the sept dues. Had extended complete co-operation with the bank and provided copy of my bank statement clearing the same. This has been provided to their various offices and in person both in hard and soft copy formats.

                      I continue to get threats for bad rating in CIBIL and legal case against me whereas some of their colleagues have agreed to revert in 7-10 days time in early Nov`08 and have never reverted.In a particular day I received 25 calls from them.

                      I have also been given to understand from our acquaintances that this Bank in particular has a very poor service quality and they have also faced harassment from them.

                      I would like your good office to guide me for the next course of action that I need to take so that citizens like me are not harassed by such banks that still don’t have a proper system and process in place and play the blame game.Till today I get atleast 4-5 SMSs and 2-3 calls daily.

                      hi all
                      i received a barclays credit card in july'08. but over past 6 months i didnt even see how a barclays statement looks like. I made several complaints but never received any response to complaint. now fed up with all, i asked for settlement a month and a half back wen their execs called me. but they dont respond .moreover they want me to pay min due 1st only then i can go for settlement. kindly advise me wat to do...i am already charged abouut 13000 in excess as charges out of my total outstanding of 20, 499. advise me any further action against this bank.
                      This is to bring to your notice the harassment issues faced by me from Barclays Bank (Credit card division) …

                      The Card started in operation from 17th Apr’ 2008 …

                      (I.) First Bill: 2 (Two) Transactions were made of Air Ticket i.e. Rs. 3620/- on 14/04/2008 and Rs. 5074/- on 20/04/2008 for which the total amount was Rs. 8674/- but the bill was not recd. at the time and a call came from Barclays office that … due date of the above bill was 28th we are sending the person to you and you pay him the cash. I agreed and immediately handed over the cash of Rs. 8694/- to thier representative.

                      (II.) Second Bill Dated: 07th June ‘2008 was recd. at time I had requested Barclays helpline indicating the debit interest and the late payment dues have been wrongly mentioned in the bill i.e. Rs. 1134.61 on the earlier bill which we paid after three days delay as the bill was not recd. by us. Our transaction amount on this bill was Rs. 9881.99 whereas Rs. 1134.65 have been charged as miscellaneous charges and late payment charges against the earlier bill which we have paid three days delay due to non-receipt of bill from them.

                      I was regularly calling on their helpline and could not resolve the problem ultimately on the second of July ‘2008 they people told me to pay Rs. 10, 610 instead of Rs. 9, 882 and assured me that this access amount of Rs. 728/- which I ‘m paying access at this time will be adjusted in my next bill. Immediately without making any single minute delay I have deposited cash at the same moment in the Nehru- Place branch of Barclays bank.

                      Then again their bill was recd. on 08th July ‘2008 in which transaction bill was Rs. 2918.88 and the extra charges they mentioned was Rs. 555.60/- out of that after discussing their helpline department on the duplicate bill except the miscellaneous charges I paid the entire transaction amount of Rs. 2920/- as instructed by their helpline.

                      Then, their August Statement Bill was recd. with a detail of 1 (One) transaction of Rs. 2784.16 Against a Telephone Bill Payment and their miscellaneous Charges was Rs. 771.45. Regularly I was approaching to their helpline regarding the miscellaneous and late payment charges which were never due to my fault but they never replied in a satisfactory manner and told me that this time you pay and later on we will see. Ultimately, when I felt tired from the working of this bank I paid Rs. 1, 955 the total outstanding balance till that date and stopped and intimated to their helpline that I will not using their card unless they finalize the matter. This was the end of the story.

                      Conclusion: After that also I have sent them several times the details of the transactions and amount paid but instead of doing anything they simply started calling me regularly to make the entire payment which was not due at me. Ultimately, in the month of December their representative called me up and told me to pay Rs. 210/- and the account will be settled. I agreed and paid the cash of Rs. 210/- to ther Representative on 17th December ‘2008 but I have not made any transaction after 18th of July ‘2008.

                      But till now, the process of harassment is still continued. Now for the past 4 months I have been regularly harassed with dire consequences for non payment. I had a lot of follow up calls from them claim it is not their fault and hence I need to pay interest for the delay. I recd. calls on weekends, holidays, innumerous SMS s etc from them.                         Dear Team,
                        This is with regards to the dispute of few of the transactions which I do not
                        recognize on my Barclays Credit Card No: [protected].
                        I have reported to the bank about the same and have not been helpful in this
                        regards. I would want to report the same to you. Following are the main details
                        and my discussion with Barclays.
                        • First time the card was used on 29/12/2007.
                        • Lost the card on 03/03/2008. Immediately reported to the bank on the
                        same day. Customer service representative advised that they have closed
                        the card from the banks end.
                        • I also advised the representative not to send the card as I wanted to pay
                        my bill off and close the account. (Due to bad service and no branches for
                        assistance).
                        • Always had problem from the Banks end with regards to the collection of
                        the Cheques. Cheques were misplaced every time.
                        • While talking to one of the executive I advised them that am not happy
                        with there service and advised will close the account after I clear the
                        balance.
                        • But in the next statement I found few cash withdrawals from ICICI bank
                        which I did not recognize. I was surprised to see those transactions as I
                        did not have the card with me and also had advised not to send a new
                        card.
                        • Called the bank immediately to check if by mistake they have sent a new
                        card and if it is in the wrong hands. But the representative confirmed that
                        they have not sent a new card. I told them about the transactions on my
                        statement and questioned them if the card was closed and the new card
                        was not sent out how can the transactions come?
                        • I continued to make payments for the transactions which I had made.
                        They advised that once we make the payments the blocked card will get
                        released to use. My question is - Is this the way you close the card?
                        The lost card can be with any one. This is not the way you protect your
                        customers account.
                        • The call was escalated to the floor supervisor named Javed Shaikh on
                        01/06/2008 at 10.46 PM who is based in Mumbai. Our conversation went
                        on why the card was not closed. He did not have an answer. End of our
                        conversation he advised me to give it in writing so that they can proceed
                        with the investigation. In our conversation I also mentioned Javed that I
                        will inform it to the Police but he advised me not to do so as the Bank will
                        carry on the investigation. Before those disputed transactions I had to pay
                        off 19364.68 Rs for which I have made the payment.
                        • As per the advise I wrote a formal complaint to the bank. But did not get
                        the confirmation from them with regards. After I followed up I received a
                        response from them that they have forwarded the details to the Fraud
                        Control Unit who will take 30 to 45 days to resolve the complaint.
                        • I had clearly mentioned in the letter that I will not be making any payment
                        for the transactions which I have not done.
                        • After me have reported the fraudulent transitions the collections team
                        continued to call me. Collection team doesn’t have contact with the
                        customer care no.
                        • In a day I received around 15 calls for the collections later it was worse.
                        • After my follow up with them after several months they advised me that as
                        it is the ATM withdrawal it cannot be disputed. I requested them to find
                        some solution for it as it is a huge amount.
                        • They continued to send the statements with the same transactions and
                        with a harassing note that they will register at the credit bureau. I am not
                        happy to pay the money which I have not used it.

                        • My Payment Details follows:
                        1. Rs 4000/- on 10/03/2008.
                        2. Rs 10, 000/- on 17/04/2008.
                        3. Rs 10, 000/- on 07/06/2008.
                        4. Rs 9, 500/- 19/07/2008.

                        to 50 mins. It has been a painful experience with The BARCLAYS BANK.

                        With Due regards I want to state as follows:

                        1) I have a Barclays Card - No-[protected] since July'08.

                        2) I was having a Limit of more than 50000/- ( Exact figure I donot know right now) but limit was decreases to Rs. 12000/-, from when, I donot know.( I was never informed).

                        3) I donot received the bill for July / August'08, Although I have a spending of Rs.14512/- during July'08. After discussing on Telephone I make the Payment of Rs.1000/- on 26th of Aug'08 to the Bank Representative, with a promise from Call centre that they will reverse the Late Payment Charges if any as this was th first month and I could not received the Bill.

                        4) During Next month bill bank charged Late Payment and Overlimit Charges. On enquiry from Call Centre I was told that the Cash payment was credited on 16th Sept'08 and my Limit has been decreases, so they charged Overlimit Charges, But they will reverse them in next bill.

                        5) I again make the payment of Rs. 1550/- to Bank Representative in cash on 26th Aug which was again credited only after 5th of Sept ( Which is the date of generatiing bill as I understant).

                        6) Main thing is that after writing so many times to the Card Authorities they are not replying in the matter. I have already send the Scan copies of Receipts to the Bank Authorities but they are not reversing the charges although confirming on phones that my matter is geniune.

                        7) I have make the payments so many times but always in spite of correcting the bill they are again and again charging the charges as Late payment and Over Limit.

                        8) I never used the card afterwards, and till now make the payment of Rs.15111/-.

                        9) If the interst rate of 3.1% is charged the net outstanding now comes to Rs.5060/- only but the Bank is saying to have an outstanding of more than Rs. 24000/- mainly due to will full wrongly charges of Over Limit and Late Charges.

                            Sir,
                            I am using Barclay Times Card.
                            Few days ago, I got a call form Barclay Customer Care and they ask the details of my Credit Card for the
                            one of the service i.e. Barclay Priority CIRCLE for no charge and even i got the confirmation call from Barclay which I clearly say "If i have to pay any money then I don't need any service". The charges are debited to my card for Rs. 6000 plus the service charges. I even call customer care and I get to know that they had done some quality testing on the call and So the service can not be deactivated.
                            I want to tell you again I clearly say I don't need any service if I have to pay any money.

                            Please let me know what should I do next.

                            " I am not interested to join priority circle membership" my due date is 28th july so please stop the billing process and cancel as soon as possible i am not satisfied about the oral false statement" i mentioned the following details given below: and
                            today which is 26-07-08 called custmercareservice officer also but she told we are not to take this issue she said follow up your chennai number on monday and get it reply and follow up.

                            They have activated some offer called you are one

But I have not received any document about this.                             I had received a call in the month of June 08 regarding the Priority Circle membership for Rs.5000+ taxes 618/- which I had accepted. But due to some personal personal problems this is not possible for me to take this membership and that's why after a week I called the customer care of priority circle at Delhi number to cancel my membership but she talked very rudely and told me that this is not our policy to cancel the membership and when I told her this is cheating then she replied me that this is not our fault you have accepted the membership and you have to pay the fees at any how. Then I mailed a complaint to customercare of barclays credit card on 16th June 08 and a reply from their end on 22nd of June 2008 that they will reverse the amount which will reflect in my next statement . But the same was not reversed. After calling so many times to the customer care they always assure me that your request has been forwarded. but the fees has not been reversed . I had not paid the bill from that month they are harrassing me by continuos SMS and phone calls on my cell and landline numbers and executive talk very rudely due to which I am in very much mental stress. A call from Neeraj received me yesterday 13.10.08 to pay Rs.370/- to stable your account and after that you will get a receipt and then call at [protected] give them this receipt no . After this your membership and other charges will be reversed in the next statement definetly . I am confused whether they are lying or not. Because I have no faith in Barklays Bank.

                            I have Braclays Bank Credit Card which i have never used till date. Previous month i received an statement from Braclays which reflects payment due as Rs. 6741.60 of Priority Circle fee. I have never asked for this service and didnt even know the facilities offered under this facility.
                            Post inquiry they told me, they called me up and did all possible verification and i requested for the service. They refused to reverse the charges and when i asked for voice confirmation they were again helpless.

                            Myself, Yashodhan.V.Patil, this complaint is in regard for the amount charged on my Barclays credit card. A month ago some representative from Barclay’s priority circle called me and told me that I am entitled to get some free gifts because of my good relationship with the bank. He called me thrice but not anywhere he mentioned that some amount would be charged to me. To my surprise in the statement I received the charges for being associated with the Barclay card priority membership. I called many times and talked to the Barclays customer representative for canceling the membership but they kept giving me the Barclays priority circle telephone numbers. I even tried calling there and called to every office located in Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi. Most of the phone which I called was not working and I even kept holding the phone for more than 15 mins. Till date I have at least made more than 25 calls. From your medium I want to convey to cancel my priority circle membership with immediate effect. In these cases you also need to take strong action against these representatives for spreading wrong information. Although till date I had a good time with the Barclays card except this incident. I haven’t recd any documents or brochure of any kind from the Barclays bank regarding the memberships to any of addresses. I kindly request you to look in this matter and do the needful. I hope this issue gets resolved as soon as possible.

                            Barclay Bank Credit Card Priority Circle Charges — Priority Circle membership Charges

                            I have been issued a Times Card in August 2008. In my first monthly statement an amount of Rs.6712/- have been lavied as Priority Circle Charges. Since then I am trying to reverse these charges. So far they have not been reversed. They are stating that these charges cannot be reversed. Since it is a big amount and already they have charged around Rs. 1000/- as Late Payment Charges. Since I have not paid this amount they will charge again, as per the reply from Customer Care Executives. I am confused what to do? Please help me to get out of this trap/trouble due to Barklay Bank.                             I am Dipti Rane whish to bring to your kind information that i have been charged some kind of Membership Fee by the Barclays Priority Circle. This is absolutely a cheating and a fraud case as call center person told me that this is free, he does not told about any type of fee that time.

                            I am not at all intrested in any such membership. These Barclays bank people are simply fooling the customers just to meet their sales target.

                            I called the help line but they told me that it is not possible to cancel.

                            Please take required action against this as i have seen that many people are been fooled / cheated by the Barclays bank

                            Barclays bank called me up for a priority circle membership, to which I agreed saying if there is no initial payment then I will enroll. They enrolled me and later served with a bill of 7000.

                            For which I denied, not they say I delayed in cancellation of the same so they won’t withdraw the charges. Since then I have been exchanging mails with them to resolve but could not.

                            Hi,

                            "Barclay Priority Circle offer".While promoting they promised me 30% rebate on all the purchases, including petrol.I subscribed to the offer only because if i spend around Rs.18000 on petrol my subscription charges will be recoverd.

                            But the offer is not as promised by the telecaller(30% rebate not allowed on petrol purchase).Hence i requested for the cancellation of the offer as it is of no use to me.

                            The subscription charges of Rs.5000 is regularly included in all my bills together with some interest and penalty on that.

                            If the offer is not cancelled immediately i have no other go but to take legal action on the ground that,

                            1) you have failed to appoint a proper person ( i.e., telecaller who cannot explain the offers properly)

                            Like many of the complaints I have read, I, too, have been dupped by this company. When I signed up for this card, at their airline recruiting desk, I asked about the APR, and said I would cancel if it was not low. I received the credit card, and did call the customer service number, and when I was told the balance transfer offer was very limited, I asked to be discontinued. I asked if I would get my original $49 back. I was told that I would. I called this company each time I received a statement, asking for cancellation and a refund, and was told 'what I wanted to hear' each time. Once I spoke with a 'Mark', who said my balancw would be adjusted, and I would get my payment returned. Well, the answer is obvious; neither of these things took place and now I owe three times my original payment, and I never activated the card, nor agreed to anything other than the initial agreement in 2007. Calling customer service avails nothing and it seems impossible to get out from under this Trojan Horse. I have even tried to make a complaint with the state attorney general.

                            I would like someone, in the US, which is part of this company's website logo; someone in management who can authorize 'total and complete' cancellation of this contract. If I must pay the balance, before it becomes thousands, I want assurity that I am completely vindicated from this 'Pandora's Box' of maheim.

                            I have tried mannerably to get this resolved, and now I am totally frustrated.

                            Will the president, ceo, regional vice president; someone at corporate headquarters for Barclay or Comcast, or whoever is raking in this filthy luker, to contact me; and apparently many others, and get us off your books, please.

                            Barclays — Assured from service desk to reversal of amount,but not reflecting in statement

                            I have paid my total outstanding.But due to some reason my account is showing some outstanding balance.Call to customer care people arround 15 times but they have not solved my problem.After sending mail to service desk got reply that they will reversal all the amount.Since 3 month has passed but my outstanding raising day by day and every day I am getting arround 20 calls and getting distrubed abruptly.I have given the mail reference no recipt no many times to barclays collection people and customer care people and arround 10 people assured me to passed the issue to concerened dept but nothing has resolved.My contact- +91-[protected]

                            I was charged for Barclay Priority membership on August 2nd and i requested for cancellation for this on 7th of August. When i called the customer care they said me that they dont deal with priority circle. They have a different department for priority circle.                             Months ago i had recieved a call from a barclays card executive for priority circle . he said iam a esteemed customer of barclays and said there WILL NOT BE ANY CHARGES for activationg the priority circle. but in my next barclays card bill i was charged 5000 extra. I mailed to barclays services and called client services . once or twice there were executives who informed me that they will reverse the charges as i have not availed any of the facility in the priority circle but all turned out to be a false promise. i had to go on paying the minimum charges until i decided to clear off all the amount . there was harassment from barclays card executives through phone calls to pay the amount. I am still fighting for my money.
                            I agree to that. Not only me facing the problem, Many are there in Queue. Please guide us to resolve the issue.

                            pertaining which I got a call from Barclay Priority Center in Sep 2008,offering me Barclay Priority Club Membership and assured me the benifits (few mentioned below)

                            2-500 Rs Cash Back in every 5000 Rs Shopping
                            3-Trolly bag,
                            4-3 days+2 Nights free in (4-5 star) hotel booking outside India for [2 Adult+2 Kids]
                            5-Benefits on movie tickets.
                            6-Benefits in online shopping.benefits in online booking etc .
                            against the Barclay Priority Center charges 5000 Rs.

                            Further using the card I couldn't avail the benifits of the membership as offered, I had communicated the same to Barclay bank 's Customer Care [complain no:[protected] ] and got the assurance that they will resolve the issue within 15 days.Later on I decided to withdraw from the Membership and requested for the reversal of deducted amount which was 5000 INR .Customer care executive refused to do that and told me once a person opted the membership he cann't withdraw.Despite of repeated request for amount reversal I couldn't get it.

                            Meanwhile, I went abroad for 1.8 Years after coming back I got the statment showing the pending amount of approx 12500 INR .I had again contancted with customer care [Complain No-3897479,3962928] and explained the matter to them then they told that Barclays has closed my Credit card account and listed me as defaulter & advise me to contact collection department in order to settle the matter.

                            I found myself cheated on the follwing reason

                            1. They offered me the fake membership and deducted the amount but never give me benifits as said .
                            2. Refuse to revert the charges.

                            My question is whether Bank want to resolve the matter or it is the policy of the bank first to make big promises, later push the customer to defaulter's list.

                            On my part I just want to settle the matter ASAP and pay the actual amount after deducation of membership Charges (i.e 5000 INR) + late payment charges on the same.

                            Please let me know if any information required from my side.

                              I, Neetu Jain holding BARCLAYS Credit Card No. [protected]. Since 12/07, i have been charged an amount of 6741.60/- as a membership fee from Barclays Priority circle... which was told to me as free service.. Inspite of my repeated asking the charge structure was never told to me and it was told that it is absolutely free and i have to pay nothing for this membership.



                              i had received a call from Delhi office of BARCLAYS BANK from[protected] in month of November and the exeutive Mr Ashish told me that My name is selected for Priority circle facility... i repetedly asked him about charges, he told me its free of cost again and again. They had recorded for quality assurance also but the charges and amount was nowhere conveyed. Even i have not received any documentation from Barclays till date.



                              I had called up BARCLAYS BANK Call center regarding this matter, but they said that they will look into the matter and get back to me, but nobody is giving me any response in this matter..I have written numerous mails to [protected]@barclays.com and [protected]@barclays.com which they have acknowledged also.Their email reference nos are [protected], [protected], [protected].In one of their mails they told me that they would have reversed the charges had i called them within 21 days of debit. the bank should have sent an sms whenever theres debit to customer card which barclays never did as other banks do. had i received an sms regarding the charges i would have complained for reversal then and there itself. I think Barclays very well knows how to cheat and fool innocent customers who fall prey to their promotional gimmicks. Customers should receive sms for all debits to their card so that they can be assured that the cardis not being used fraudelently.

                              I have also given emailst to reverse my charges, and that i will not pay the amount at any cost., Now everyday iam receiving 7-8 calls from collection department regarding payment to which i have denied and asked them to reply to mails and solve my dispute. I am tormented and mentally harrased .

                              I have been holding HSBC and ICICI credit cards for last 5 years in which there has never been default. Now Barclays is pestering me that they will refer my name to CIBIL that i am a defaulter and i will have problems in getting loans in future. This is just very tormenting.



                              Please help me in this matter, otherwise the bank will put me in defaulter list unnecessary...

                              Credit Card — cheat by barclay

                              I Rishi jain, holder of barclay bank credit card. I recently get it made barclays times card . i used it and waited for the bill ..I received the bill on the last date of the payment, even though i paid but in my next bill i found late charges, interst chares levied on me.

                              i complained many times on their customer care and asked them to fix a call with their senior.

                              but i didnt got any resposnse, so i made my mind to get it cancel.
                              i had call them i had paid the full amount other than late charges and interst charges as it was not my mistake. but they are not listening to me and not cancelling the card.

                              so what should i do...

                              I was fooled into aggreeing to their priority circle with free bag e.t.c. I asked if i do not want it after receiving the print matter, if i can sa y NO. The seller and the verification caller both confirmed. Now they say there was no misleading in the call. I donn wann it. They say no cancellation policy.

                              Their numbers never connect. They create a deal. They sell it through lies. They do not give email address of where i can complain on them.

                              Barclaycard -Out and Out cheats — Non receipt of statement -Cheaters

                              I have been holding a Barclay Gold Card since February 2008.The first statement due in March reache dme on time and the payment was also made .Subsequently the next month my statement never reached me before the due date and i cudnt pay .Next month they asked me to register for an e statement which i did and also took my complaint for non receipt if statement and sent me another copy which i received late april.
                              In fact even after registering ac omplaint they have leviued late payment fees which i didnt pay and have been writing to them regularly and paying the amount which i spend every month after deducting the charges which i should not pay unless i have been given any satisfactory reply .
                              Now after 4 months am yet to receive any communication from Barclays and they have now started sending sms's stating that we will be referring to the Credit Bureau in case you dont pay the amount indicated by them in the stipulated days .

                              This is one way of conning customers who are first enticed with the privelege o[censored]sing a credit card by adding to joining fees etc and then dupe them in these ways .

                              I have been using several other cards and have never faced these kind of problems ever .

                              I dont know, what would be the best way to tackle these guys.They should be taught a lesson atleast once .

                              Do advise if anybody else have encountered such problems and what has to be done .

                              i am a barclays gold credit card holder i have trapped for priority circle fees. actually on 30/09/2008 between 2 to 3 pm i have receieved many calls from barclays priority circle about taking membership for Rs 6000 plus tax lifetime fees
                              i had told them to give me some times for think but they told that it was the last day,
                              Then I agreed on one condition that this amount should not reflect in my current statement, and after confirmation from their manager they told this amount will not reflect in current statement but to my surprise this amount is reflected in my current statement, and thanks to their horrific customer care no 6000444 busy for more then one hour i get through the line, to listen that they are sending the complain, I told them that if this is the case I am not interested in any scheme and even in card also, after that I call priority circle membership help line and after 40 min i get through the line and again waited for 15 min to connect to a executive to listen that they even don't have data for my membership. I even told them that i dont want any membership so to cancle that

                              It is really surprising

                              Now from this site i came to know that for the same thing they have charged Rs 5000.00 to other customer and they charged 6000.00 to me????????????????

                              This is happening if you trust english !!! ( it may be people or BANK

                              This is in reference to my credit card statement which i received A few days back, 1 got a call from barclays credit card dept. and they offered me the membership of priority circle at no cost. i told them that if it is free of cost then only provide me otherwise i am not intrested.

                              i have received the e-statement and have been charged Rs.6741.60. this charges are forcefully loaded on me.

                              This is a serious case of mis- selling . When i contacted there priority call centre insted of giving me solution they were forcing me to pay the charges. they are stating that they have listen to my call transcripts where i have given the confirmation
                              i want this call transcripts to hear it then they says that it is confedential and cannot be disclosed.

                              the bank is doing wrong business by forcing the customer to pay the unwilling charges.

                              I am credit card holder of Barclay bank.card number -[protected] I have taken Credit card few days back i have done no transaction on this card till date. Last week I got message from your bank mentioning my total due on card is 6741/-rs. When I called customer care, person told me there are some package charges which was never told to me before.Thiese are some priority card membership charges.they are saying they have some recorded message for my confirmation which I have never done.

                              Hi Guys, I got the Barclays Card one & halfyear back. las
                              november someone from Barclays Priority Circle (BPC) called me and told because of my timely repayment, they preferred me for the BPC offer, for which they will send me the Rs 5000 worth gift coupons and Rs 1500 worth troley. At that time itself i asked that guy whether i have to pay any amount for this. They told that i need not to pay atlease one rupee for this. Then only i said ok. But in next month they charged Rs 5000 for this amount.
                              But i called customer care to know what is the actual thing. They told me to call BPC centre and give a request to cancel the same. But they also taken the request for this and till now i didnt get any gift coupons and troley, and they are telling that they cannot reverse the amount. I wrote a complaint to them got a response from them after a month a guy saying that he is a manager, tell me that he’ll reverse the amount that they charged for priority as I haven’t got anything until regarding priority and paying the interest for it. And in next 2 days I got a letter that they’ll not be able to reverse the BPC charges as per their [censored] rules.. I again called them and told them about the guy who promised me about the reversing BPC charges their CS agent told me that theres nobody in the name(rajesh) in finance dept and she’ll investigate on why I was given wrong information about reversing charges.
                              I got so much frustrated and this Barclays card would ring your Landline phone & mobile every 10 mins before 10 days of the due date and when you answer it you will get no one to answer you.
                              This is the worst cheat I have ever come across. I realy need some advise if someone goes through all this
                              So guys please dont get the Barclay card and even if you are receiving any call. please record the same in your mobile.

                                I have received personel loan on phone from barcklays bank before some time . The personel loan ammount was Rs150000.00. The bank is charging about 23% intrest rate of Rs 4858.00 p.m.EMI.Bank had not clear his term and condition before released the loan amount.The normaly bank intrest is about
                                13% to 18%.The bank recovered EMI directly from my dealing bank of Rs 4858.00 p.m.since last 4 month. I have cheated by bank kindly take necesary action against the said bank.

                                  i am having a new savings account with your bank bearing a/c #[protected] and i had requested for personalised debit card on12/09/2008 and your cus care executive and floor manager had promised for 5 working days to deliver the same, for your kind information today is 30/09/2008 i think it is almost 15 working days today also i called your cus care and spoke to the same Mr. Floor Manager again he is promising 5 more working days to deliver. I had thought "BARCLAYS BANK" is faster service but im feeling that a co-operative bank is very much genuine in service i had never experienced such a service from any of the bank like this. If possible arrange to deliver my debit card for the mistake I have done, I mean opening the savings account with your bank. YOUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES IN INDIA ARE USELESS especially that Mr.Floor Manager

                                    Hi all this is mail I have sent to Vodafone and I am waiting for there response...I feel Hutch was better ...Vodafone plays pranks on customers :(

                                    Are you playing games with your customers ? you are causing extreme mental agony by playing filthy pranks on customers.

                                    1) I had told your executive to activate my SIM only after 26th or 27th December 2007. I gave my papers around 20th in Chennai.
                                    2) I came to chennai with family only on 27th.
                                    3) I am working with Barclays, most of our offices in chennai are outsourced.My office is at Kanchipuram.Most of our CHennai offices have shut down/shutting down. I had told Bhaskar (Team Leader) that my branch is in Kanchipuram and that I am coming to CHennai on 27th and hence activation/verification should happen post this date.
                                    4) The verification happened while I was in Hyderabad and failed
                                    5) After numerous phone calls and visit to vodafone store and consultation with Yogesh Kumar/Philip of verification my billing address was updated to Kanchipuram address.
                                    6) A reverification was initiated to formalise my connection.
                                    7) In the interim my line got disconnected and I had to pay 500 Rs payment activation
                                    8) On the day of verification at Kanchipuram no one turned up, I called customer care and queried on the same.
                                    9) After waiting for 2 hours I left Kanchipuram since it was Saturday.
                                    10) For next week or so the connection worked well
                                    11) I got my number blackberry enabled and have given this number to our IT people to configure my blackberry device which has been done.
                                    12) This number has been circulated to all my colleagues/seniors/and subordinates apart from family members
                                    13) I have also given standing instruction for payment of the bills for this connection 3 days back.

                                    NOW, after so much drama at 11.30 pm you have again disconnected my connection..your customer care number is not reachable at...I am going out of station tomorrow at 2.30 pm ( To vijayawada). My wife does not have a cell phone & I have one year old baby.I dont understand what exactly you want from me???? you want to a genuine customer or you derive some kind of animal pleasure in harassing genuine customer??

                                    How do you expect me to be in touch with them. There is not even a tea shop at a 3 km radius near my residence?? (Nolambur)

                                    IS THIS THE WAY YOU TREAT A CUSTOMER - you have tested my patience.
                                    I had used vodafonenumber previously -- XXXXXXXXX in Chennai and XXXXXXXXXX in Kolkata please pull out the records and check my track ...

                                      I was called up by some collection advisors from Barclays Bank. Now bieng a working employee I really do not have the freedom of answering calls according to my conveniance. People from Barclay's collection do not care about this. They require their money no matter what the situation around you is. I am called up at 21:00 in night which actually starts from 8:00 in the morning. I have lost the counts of calls I get during the day. I dared to pick up one of the calls during my office hours, the advisor I spoke was first trying to scold me on not bieng available, but then I got him understand my point and asked him to callback later (I myself work for a call center and would like others to follow callback procedures like I myself do). This led into an ego fight with the agent and he ended up giving me atleast 17 missed calls later on. I agree they get paid to collect the money from customers. But uncivilised behaviour from staff is the last thing to expect out of such a bank.

                                      From November Our Branch Stopped Giving Salary And Decided To Give 4% Incentive Per Lakh. But After A Month They Decreased The Incentive To 3% Per Lakh Sale.



                                      In December 2008 I Made A Sale Of Personal Loan Mounting 224000 To Harish Kakaran LCO[protected] . According To 3% My Incentive Amounts To Be 6720 Rupees But the Cheque of my December Incentive Came on The of Nirmal kumar And of Rupees 4062 I Did Not Received Any Money.

                                      In January 2009 I Made A Sale Of Personal Loan Amounting 714000 To Veena Rani LCO[protected] . Branch Did Not Pay Me My Incentive 21420 Rupees.



                                      Sir, I Have Been Working From 11 Months But Our Channel Manager Mr.Dilsaz Cooner Has Not Given Me Appointment Letter Yet.



                                      The Decisions Taken By Ambala Branch Are Wrong.They Have Not Paid Me The Incentive For The December Rupees 6720 And for January Rupees 21440. The Total Amount i Have Not Received is Rupees 28140.

Yesterday, The Branch Called Me, They Offered Me 4500 Rupees Incentive For January 714000 Sale Of Personal Loan And They Also Told Me That There Is No Benefit Of Sending Mail To You. They Did Not Tell Me Anything About Appointment Letter And They Told Me To Talk To Channel Manager Dilsaaz For December's Incentive Rs.6720 For Personal Loan Who Is Now Transferred To Chandigarh.

                                      They Are Not Giving Me Full Incentive For Jan 2009 And Dec 2008. So, I Did Not Accept That Money From Them. You Know Costumer Refused To Give Pf And Branch Paid The Pf(Processing Fees) From My Incentive Of Rupees 16000 Without Asking Me Which Was Surely A Wrong Decision. I Want My Full Incentive Otherwise It Is Going To Be A Big Problem.

                                      but today means on[protected] at 10.56am a message delivered from message centre which is from urs bank the subject isyour barclaycard application no. [protected]has been declained.you will receive a letterat your mailing address stating the reason forthe decline you can reply after 6 months.
                                      i cant understand why the person call me and whats that application .please explain me and what i do?

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I, Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, holding a barclays credit card and have been charged an amount of 6741/- as member ship fee from Barclays Priority circle which was not told to me at the time of the call from the barclays exceutive from delhi.

                                        I received minimum 7-8 calls from Barclays Priority Circle around the month of Sep-Oct 2008. Out of all these calls I attended in total 3 calls where they provided me some details of offers. During rest of the calls I didn't talk to them saying that I am busy right now.

                                        They said you are among 10 lucky customers picked from Delhi and that I will also receive a trolley bag worth Rs 2000 in two weeks and told many offers. They never told anything about the membership charges.

                                        But everytime I refused for having any free gift or membership (which they stated to be free of any cost at that time), whatever they were offering me.

                                        But still I got the charges in my credit card statement in the month of Oct 2008.

                                        I called Barclays Priority Circle and asked for the conformation/proof for the membership which they claim I accepted for on the phone. When I asked them to provide me the proof (recording of the call), they denied that its not in their policy and the recordings are with Quality Department. When I asked them the contact details for the quality department so that I can request them to provide the same, they refused providing me the contact details.

                                        During my call to them, they just provided me the date and time for one call in which they claim I accepted to receive the free gift and opted for membership (They said that this one call was made on 21st Oct 2008). They refused that they have made any other calls to me and refused to provide details for the same. (Also, I haven't received any gift till now though I am not interested in any still).

                                        I am also getting regular calls from Barclays Credit Card customer care for making the payment. I tell them that I am not obliged to make any payment as its been put on my card without my acceptance. But they say that they can't do anything from their end and they don't have any control over charges put by Priority Circle and that only Priority Circle can reverse the charges.

                                        Barclays bank is cheating innocent people like me without giving complete info about the schemes and this is a fraud.

                                        I want this case to be solved and seek your support. People involved in this fraud should be punished.

Recently around 25 days back I have received a call from your priority circle department promising some travel bag. first I got a call and was informed that I have qualified trolley bag for which I will be receiving free gifts known to you.                                         Barclays Bank Priority Circle — Fooling the Customer for Membership Charges

                                        Dear Sir / Mam,

                                        I am Mrs. Dipti M. Rane, hereby wish to inform that i am been fooled by the Barclays Bank Priority Cirlce by charging the membership fees without my concern and now they are harressing me to make the payment.

                                        In the month of October i received a call from the Barclays Bank Priority circle for membership call and told me that it is free and they will not charge anything for the same. But on receiving the statement the things were quite surprising. They have charged me Rs 6000. On calling the Priority circle they didnt reply properly. I told them what has happened, but they are not ready to listen.

                                        This is completely a cheating / fraud case by this Barclays Bank Priority circle. I request you to please help me out of this issue as it has disturbed me lot.

Hoe can these banks deny my request of cancellation if it was lodged within 21 days/ or more. I don't even remember what delay i really did. I request to help me out with this.

                                        Barclay priority membership — Barclay priority membership fraud

                                        Hi,
                                        I'm kalaiselvan. Indrajith holding Barclay credit card. In the month of august I received the call from Barclay representative regarding Barclay priority Membership which will entitle me to Discounts and offers. I accept the same with the condition "If any fee applicable I’m not interested".
                                        I was shocked when I receive the statement in the month of September the fee RS.5618.00 debited in my card without my knowledge. I call the customer care to reverse the amount they given priority circle no.[protected]. But when I call there they said that they are not ready to reverse the amount instead of that they are forcefully asking me to pay the amount.
                                        I again call the customer Mumbai[protected] they took request from me also they agree to reverse the amount. But they did not reverse the amount. Also I sent mail to [protected]@barclays.com still I did not get any reply from the mail.
                                        Please take this request and reverse the amount and do the needful. Hope I get positive reply from you.

                                        Barclays Priority Circle — Fraud Membership of barclays priority circle

                                        Hi,

                                        I have been Fradulantly made member of Barclays Priority Circle and have been charged with 6741Rs.
                                        I got a call from Barclay Priority Circle representative who told me about the plan and told that there will be verification call, in which i clearly asked them what would be the charges, for which they said it would cost just 500Rs.

                                        Later that month when i got the statement, I was shocked to see 6741Rs charged towards Membership fee for Barclays Priority Circle. I came to know that i was trapped by Barclays Priority Circle

                                        I tried calling the barclays priority cicle numbers, initially no one was responding to the call.
                                        Later the main Barclays credit card customer care representitive suggested me to mail to [protected]@barclays.com which i did. In the mean time i had been trying to reach out these barclays priority circle representative over phone and finally succeded.

                                        They agreed to do a investigation on this matter and asked me to call after 72 hours. And when i called them after 3 days they told that it was only because of my confirmation in call, that i was given this membership.

                                        The term and conditions also say that i can withdraw in 21 days, Since i acted as soon as i had got my statement, i told them about this T&C and asked them to cancel my membership atleast based on this for which they said, the 21 days are counted from the day the money was cut. where as i got the statement only after 21 days after this money was cut.

                                        Now how would one know when the money was cut, One would come to know only when they get statement, And when i said this, they said its company policy.

                                        Later i also got reply to my mail from [protected]@barclays.com which said the same thing.

                                        I just dont want this membership. Plz help me out of this.

                                        I got call from barclay's credit card (mid of october 2008) they tell me about offer of priority circle membership, and told me that it is absulty free and when you traval through our scheme then only you have to pay the amount of lodging through our schem but I used to refuse it. Even then they send me the bill of 6000 + 741.60 service tax,
                                        frequenty I speek with customer care service but they refuse to cancell the schem and amount that they bill but after some days i got call from customer service and they said they are going to cancell all amount but still no action is taken from barclay's ... I still harsh from their call

                                        I am Vishal jayram Juvale resident of Bhandup(w) .I was holding Barclays credit card since 1 year but not make any transaction till now.

                                        one day I receive a call from Delhi customer care dept to replace my old credit card with new times card. I had told them to give me some times for think but they continously call me, between the calls due to network problem the communication was disconnected many times and finally calls were disconnected prior of finalization.

                                        This is with regard to the misconceiving of information from customer services executives from Barclays Timecard.They fraudulently charge me with an amount of 6066 .Rs without even verifying whether you need this service -some kind of priority service.When you call the helpline you are put on hold(20 mins) and after a long time when a customer service executive answers your query they give you another number to call.When you call the other number (10:00 AM) they are not available and the machine keeps on repeating "Our executives are not available .Your call is important to us" even though the customer services are from 9:30 to 6 .Then they say we need to verify and please call after 72 hrs.I ask them that the information was not conveyed to me regarding charges applicable and atleast you need to verify whether I need this service.Then I ask them to reverse it stating I don't need any kind of such service.They say we will check and then if it is valid then you will to Pay the amount.I also mailed to so called [protected]@barclay.com but i did not receive any reply.I do not wish to enroll into any kind of priority service and I need the amount to be reversed as soon as possible.Also I am willing to file a legal complaint regarding the same.

                                        This is a serious case of mis- selling . When I contacted there priority call center instead of giving me solution they were forcing me to pay the charges. they are stating that they have listen to my call transcripts where I have given the confirmation.I want this call transcripts to hear it then they says that it is confidential and cannot be disclosed.

                                        Now I also request Barclays to collect your all documents and cards as early as possible because I don't want this card because you are charging so much fees before making any transaction and please note my card no.[protected] and statement ref no.[protected].
