I would like to inform u that I have Applied for Barclays CreditCard and it has been Approved And Dispatched through Blue
Dart .But When the Concerned Person of BlueDart has come to my house at 12.00 I am in Office at that time he went back After
5 days i went to BlueDart office and enquired they told me that the Card has retuned to Barclays.I have received CreditCard Pin number but no CreditCard,So please check my status And please

I applied for Barclays Credit Card during the month of October-2007 after that I have called up several times at customer care number to get information about my credit card status.First time when i called, i have been informed that my credit card is on the way.Second time when i called after 3 weeks ago i have been informed that my credit card has been delivered to HAROON SHAIKH which is delivered to a wrong person.So at that time i blocked my card and ordered to issue a new card, But after that again atlest 2-3 times i called up to know when i will get my new credit card.Same answer from customer executive "You will receive your card within 10 working days". But till now i did not received any card.

I would like to inform u that I have Applied for Barclays Credit Card and it has been Approved And Dispatched through Blue

    Hi,
    September '2008, I did swipe my Barclay's Credit Card for Rs 480. The due date of payment was 28th October and I did make an online payment as always for the Rs 480.The next statement, I get I see that a late payment of Rs 600 and taxes were added. When I called up the bank, they say that it takes 2 days for them to process online payment and so, I should have made the payment well in advance and have to pay the late payment. Since then I did make atleast 5/6 requests to reverse the charge, instead of resolving the dispute, Barclay's has been adding further late payments and intereset as it stands on June, 2009 the amount has been inflated to more than Rs.5000. The call center is the only way of communication with the bank and they seem to be very very adament to hear to customer's complaint.
    Can someone please help me in getting this resolved, it's now pretty much a one sided communication, with the customer having to do whatever is said by Barclay's.

    Barclaycard — False billing and missed Payments

    The worst System and Service eversince I have heard is followed by Barclay Card. They ask me to make my payment through a cheque in the name of "Barclaycard PLC" and the CCno behind and to put in a rusted trash box like drop box situated in some petty shops in Chennai. Even though I made a payment which was reflected in my Bank account but was not accounted in Barclay's Card account. The very fine next day people from So called BarclayBank's customer service asks about the outstanding which i made. They irritated me to the core by calling more than 10 times a day followed by an SMS stating that i have not paid my due. Those person who asks me, never update what i tell in their system and so for every call i have to tell the whole story with proof.
    I also sent my bank statement through register post which clearly shows that i made my payment before due date to the Head Service team and customer care team which is in Mumbai followed by a email too.
    Till now I dint get any response from their side but could get irritating calls and SMS. After a long struggle I somehow made to understand an Collection executive about my issues. That fine Gentleman asked me to pay atleast the minimum due of Rs.150/- only then the Barclay Service team would consider my complaint. I then paid that amount that day itself through his representative. But it took another month now whereby i dint get any response from Barclaycard service team. I dont have words to describe more than this. Its easy for me to take them in Consumer Court with my valuable evidence which i gonna do it within few days.
    I have a credit card of barclays bank, last date of my payment was 28th oct which was a holiday ( Diwali ) and i was not able to make the payment on 28th, I made the same on 29th, just because of the reason they charged me a late payment fee of 500 rupees and taxes and interest extra. Its a total of 630, now the thing is my usage for the entire month was only 425 rupees and i have to pay 1085. The worst thing is they dont have any customer care department who will listen to us coz when i called their customer department instead of listening me they started shouting on me. All other banks reverse the charge in such kind of situations but they are simply who used to visit our offices like stray dogs and then end relationship with their customer in this manner by charging late payment fee.
    They will not able to sustain in India and within mine office location i'll creat a kind of bad image of this bank among the people.

    Hello,

    I have a barclays credit card. I have paid my outstanding through cheque before due date. Bank says they got this one day after due date and levid 734 late payment fees and other charges.

    Don't know, whom to reach out for such kind of cheating by the bank.

    Barclays are the worst service provider. I agree to all the complaints made. I am a victim too.
    They have put so many charges on my account which i dont reconise. Best part is the transactions on the statement are not mine. The reason is i had closed the card and a new card was not sent. but there are transactions comming on the card. They dont have answere...

    Parden my language... These guys are pain ...

    I have a Barclaye Credit Card. I have drop the Cheque of Rs.2500.00(Bill of abt Rs.2900.00)before the due date and get the message that they got my cheque and that was before due date. But after some day I got again the message that my cheque has been bounce, so I am charged an extra amount of about Rs1400.00. So i ask the Bank of which I have given the Cheque, they has to say that they had not received any cheque with that amount. So there is no question of bounce of my cheque.
    So when i call to customer care officer they says that they cannot accept my request to Reward that extra amount and i have to pay that amount, when again ask they are not even ready to hear me. Now a day daily gettng a call of payment. And of these month which I have paid more than minimum amount and make them update also. Than also getting that calls and sms.

    So please help me out to Make that extra amount Return back to me.

    The problem is that i missed on a payment of Rs 899 it was due on 26 January 2009, i got a call from Barclay card`s Mumbai office on 28th evening around 7:00PM and i was told if i make the payment of due amount i.e.Rs.899 plus current amount which is not yet due or generated Rs.2349 togather i.e.Rs.3248 i will not be charged any thing as late fee charges.
    However i got card statement 8 February stating i need to pay Rs.722.28 as a late fee charges.
    I called Barclay card customer services and explained the same and the agent told me that Mumbai office can give this kind of false commitment to collect the due amount however there is no way that they can waive this charge.
    Now I could have paid just Rs.899 if they could have given me the right information why i paid that full amount of Rs.3248 just to get the benefit of not paying the late fee.
    So please help me out as they have told me i need to make payment of Rs722.28 by 25 February else they will charge interest again.

    Dear Sir,

    I have received the credit card from Barclays Bank PLC India No.
    [protected].

    While signing the credit card form the Executive of Barclays card
    sayed that we need to pay the cheque on the due date

    As per his advice I have dropped the cheque in the drop box

    The Due date was 8th I have dropped the cheque on 8th itself and the
    cheque has been cleared

    In my next statement i have received a late payment fee calling the
    barclays customer support they said that the cheque has to be realised
    before the due date hence you have penalised if any suggesstions you
    require please put it in writing

    I have droped the e-mail to [protected]@barclays.com but i have not
    received any replay from them now the amount has been rasied from
    Rs.400 to Rs.4, 000/-

    And every day there is a call and tourcharing me for making the
    payment but they are not ready to put in writing nor they will
    response in writing nor they respond to the mail.

    I have sent the reminder repetely but not respond but they call me for
    payment and talk in hapazor manner.

    Please help me in this regard.

    Hi, , I drop the cheque of RS310 on 24.05.2008 but your collection dept. told that didnot receive the cheque then i drpped the another cheque which they received on 02.06.2008.In my next statement i.e june there is a late payment charges of RS 500.In sept. my total balance is 6078 and then i talked to your collection dept. they told me to give the actual amt. then i paid amt. of RS5200.then from my side the dues are clear.in month of october barclays give me the priority circle scheme and in month of january they reverse rhe priority circle scheme but they did not reverse the chargesof late payment fees.and now my amt. is rs 5000 which is not beeen used by me that is the fine from your side.     Yes, the same thing happen to me. Also, I (was)am experiencing severe financial problems, I asked them if they can the lower interest rate from 23.99% to lower rate, they mentioned that if I pay three month in advance not including the month I called, they can lower the interest rate to 9.9. I did agree on the phone and made the payment, they honored it for one month and then raised the interest to 28.99%. Please advise if some one else have the same problem.

      I have a Barclay Credit Card. i had asked for a settlement and the bank promised me to do a settlement for 29000 after providing me a settlement number and asked me to make a minimum payment of approx Rs 2500.i did it thinking that the Bank is a good one and they promised to send the letter after 4 days. whereas after 4 days i got a call and they said that due to a technical error in their system they forgot to add Rs 30, so i will have to pay Rs 30 to go forward with the settlement. i made the payment thinking the same thing. no again after 5 days they said a new payment cycle has started and therefore to stop that i will have to make a payment of approx Rs 2300 and then it will proceed with the settlement and the settlement amount will become 24000 as i have already paid approx 4600. i again made the payment. and now after around 15 days they are again calling for some payment and DENYING THE WHOLE SETTLEMENT THING. I AM DAMN FRUSTRATED WITH THEM NOW.PLEASE DO SOME THING AND PLEASE TAKE SOME ACTION. THE SETTLEMENT NUMBER THAT THEY GAVE ME IS 'MUM-YATRA BARCLAY CARD 975791'

      I HAVE AN BARCLAY CREDIT CARD LAST MONTH IN JUNE I HAD A CALL FROM BARCLAYS FOR OUTSTANDING OF RS 22000 THEY SAID THAT YOU HAD A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF RS 150 PLEASE PAY BUT I TOLD HIM THAT I WANT TO SETTLE MY ACCOUNT THEN HE CALCULATE AND SAID YOUR ACCOUNT WILL SETTLE IN NEAR ABOUT 12000 BUT NOW YOU HAVE TO PAY RS 150 AND THEN I WILL SEND A MAIL TO BARCLAYS WITHIN SEVEN WORKING DAYS YOU WILL RECEIVE SETTLEMENT LETER FROM BANK I SAID OK THEN ON 19TH JUNE NEXT DAY HE SEND A GUY AND I HAVE PAID OF RS 150 THEN I WILL WAIT FOR SETTLEMENT LETTER NOW TODAY IS 19THOF JULY STILL I AM WAITING NOBODY COMES ONLY RECOVERY AGENSYS CALLS RECEIVING THEY SAYS THERE IS NO REQUEST OF RECEIVING SEETLE OF ACCOUNT

      Bur the Collections Managers are refusing for the settlement.

      I have requested on the ground of Loss of Job i am unable to meet the EMI.

        my credit card no. is [protected] . regarding this i want to make complaint that my credit card statement generation date is 5th every month while till statement date outstanding balance due was Rs. 11834/- and Card credit limit is Rs. 12000/- but after billing due to interest outstanding amount including interest crossed the credit limit and total outstanding is Rs. 12263/- . Now They have applied overlimit charges Rs. 500/- . that is wrong. as per statement amount due befor billing was under limit but after billing due to interest crossed the limit, in this case how can they applied overlimit charges. now i have talked with barclay bank customer serce executive Neha about cancelation of card and payment of dues without overlimit charges and also all details sent to barclays bank service manager by mail but they are not agree to cencel the card and they are not agree to reverse the overlimit charges please help me. what i can do in this situation . i want to cancel this card permanantly. please take necessary action against barclays bank . i shall wait for your positive responce.

          You have checked only your verbal records based on the recorded confirmation only half way but you have not considered the correspondence given as under
          "letter dated 19 March 2009 (Ref. No. WBPC7347) mentioning “This particular time frame” has been dispatched by you on 07/04/2009 . (This dispatch date and ref. No. is mentioned on the Express sticker pasted on the envelope covering this letter) It means such a important letter is sent late by Express Courier which on receipt gives no time left for customer to read it properly and understand and reply back. You please note this delay on the part of Barclay who is showing such keenness on the time frame of 21days to refuse my request. After your dispatch date and after my receipt, please see the calendar, 10th April, (good Friday) followed by Saturday". After this I wrote a letter on Monday, 13/04/2009 and dispatched it in the morning on the same date addressed to ‘P.O. Box 11567, Nariman Point, Mumbai-400021’ (This particular address is only available on the envelope where dispatch date and ref. No. is mentioned) In this letter I have fully given my reservations to cancel the said card membership. In this case the date of issue of letter by Barcaly is 07/04/2009 followed by my letter saying my reservations. I have these records duly preserved with me to prove the purposeful late issue of letter by Barclay.(Ref. No. WBPC7347)

          Further more if you have properly listened the full reording of promotion of your card by your associate which is explained as under:
          While promoting the said card, your marketing man told me about some gift vouchers. Then I have received your letter dated 13 March 2009 along with card. In this letter Barclay said “The enclosed welcome booklet carries lavish vouchers from premium outlet.” But no such lavish vouchers are found enclosed with this letter. Accordingly I wrote a letter mentioning the above fact on Monday, 13/04/2009 addressed to ‘ P.O. Box 11567, Nariman Point, Mumbai-400021’

          But when I talked to your representative on 27/05/2009 on phone and told about non receipt of the lavish vouchers along with other things. He told me that this particular offer was valid up to February 2009. It means that your ‘Customer Service Man’ is aware of the current status of the offer, but your other key persons forwarding the card in the month of March do not know about this expired offer or knowingly they have not enclosed the lavish voucher. Even then such information was never told or informed to me in the later stage either by your marketing man or Customer Service Man. As such I have not received the lavish vouchers from premium outlet as committed in the letter dated 13/03/2009 for the reasons known to you. I think you are once again purposefully not considering this verbal as well as written consent of Barclay. Kindly link the issue with first recording of offering from your associate, followed by letter saying this but not enclosing the lavish vouchers. The reason for this is given by your representative on 27/05/2009 for non issue of lavish vouchers by Barclay. (Kindly listen this also) Then arrive at decision. As such the customer is not getting the full benefits as committed verbally and by the letter, offered by Barclay.
          On this background I wish to inform you that the amount towards BPC membership which has been debited is not as per the agreed terms and conditions explained above between you and me. Again on all these lapses on the part of Barcay, I have requested you arrive at amicable solution to effect least payment. As per the talk with your custmer service I paid the least amount Rs.650/- in May 2009 to proccess for settlement but till date nothig has further moved to resovle the matter. You try to resolve the issue for minimum settlement amount as I find no point in making further such email and other correspondence.For this there was a call from Barclay to settle the issue but further nothing has happened. Hence at present I will not be able to make any payment till settlment is arrived. Kindly make aware of this to your collection department.

          Barclays Priority Circle — FALSE COMMITMENT over Phone for membership

          Dear ALL,
          Kindly note that I have been trapped in the membership of BARCLAYS PRIORITY CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP.
          I got a phone call around 30 - 45 days back saying that there is an offer for BARCLAYS PRIORITY CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP which will entitle me to Discounst and offers. I had categorically asked the person that whether I need to pay anything then I was told that I need not have to pay anything.
          I then said that I am ready but kindly note that I would not be interested in case I need to pay anything for this membership. Thereafter I received the verification phone call and then agian I asked that I am ready to this offer subject to that I donot have to pay anything. I was further told on the phone that I would be receiving detailed information of the offer and strolley bag within next 15 - 20 days.
          Thereafter I didnot get any information of such sort instead I get CARD STATEMENT of BARCLAYS CREDIT CARD stating that I need to pay Rs 6000 as the membership fees for the BARCLAYS PRIORITY CIRCLE.
          I then called up BARCLAYS CREDIT CARD HELP LINE, they then asked me to call up one no[protected]. After calling that number I was told that they would investigate the matter.
          After 7 days I again called up, this time they said that they had investigated the matter and their quality officer had found that the caller had mentioned about the Fees of Rs 6000.00 and was told that they would not be reversing the amount and i had to pay the amount.
          I am feeling trapped by this conversation. I would request every person who take up card from such banks to be on guard and donot fall prey to such fradulent activities.
          Request you to kindly help / suggest me a way out

            Sir,

            I am the customer of your Barclay card having card no [protected], I am totally fad up by your CCR’s because there is no single & stable wording of customer care representative of Barclays.

            I have two issues with you

            I received a call from your customer care on near about 20th may that your outstanding is "18000" we converted it into reducing EMI of 1757. You have to give a cancel cheque and signed a ECS form. I ask for the coming payment on due date she said not to pay & your card going blocked if you need card you can apply another card.
            After 2-3 days person come and collected the cancel cheque and signed the ECS form and he also told me there is no need to pay the coming installment. Then I clarify with your Gurgaon customer care they assure the same.
            I didn’t receive any statement from your side last month and not for this month. After arguing many times with your CCR send me the statement and solve the above issue I will pay the payment & every CCR assure me to send the statement. When i complaint for the statement (ref no. 1795621) on 4-5th June, then I receive the statement of April-may on 22nd June in night.
            In between near about 20-25 CCR force me to paid the payment, I always told them to solve the above issue but no one solve it not a 1 percent, always says first pay the payment. Nobody wants to listen the problem of the customer. And I think that there is no coordination between your any CRS, they didn’t update anything which the customer says to them every time i have to discuss same issue with every CCR who call to me. We have to repeat every time same thing to every CCR.
            I receive the April-May statement on 23rd so I paid it through net banking on 24th June and the details are below.
            I will pay the latest month amount when I receive the statement, and it would be without any plenty because your CCR made me confuse and lack of statement.
            If this is the way to treat the customer then I will be grateful if you block my card so there would be no relation in future with Barclays. Requesting you stop all the account and to verify the amount used and paid to you. In future I will never refer in my circle to carry Barclays card only because of Customer Care.

              Hi,

              I have been using Barclays Creditcard from Past 15monts, I have purchased 26000 of product on the card on last May 2008 and converted it to EMI, On nov 24 2008 i have called Customer care and asked for Pre Closer of EMI. They told it will take 10 working days. I waited till dec 10 and still it was in process, i made a complint on dec 11 2008. There was no update from Customercare. I again called on Jan 4 2009 and raised another complaint. I had been receiving calls from collection departemet for payment but non of them were aware of the complaints made to customercare. I stoped paying the bills and asked for closer of my account.

              Atlast they told my account can be settlet, As per the customecare My settlement letter was prepared on 22nd May, but till now i havent recived it yet, I keep getting call and SMS for payment.

                As per call received from Barclay bank representative in month of April 2009 regarding, Barclay Card Priority Circle promotion offer. It was informed to me that as a selected customer for this promotion, a complementary watch of worth Rs 2990, and gift coupons, will be delivered as joining gift before making the full payment of Rs 4000 + taxes, total comes Rs. 4412. In addition to this, I have also informed that after making the full payment I shall be eligible for the vacation in India, only for 2 days and 3 nights for two people in resorts with whom a bank has a tie-up.

                According to this conversation, when I receive the gift from the merchant ‘Anish & Manuel Support System Pvt Ltd, Mumbai’ I also received the letter along with gift, from this merchant says that the watch is of Rs. 350. With background, when I logged the complaint on May 29, saying that the joining gift is not of Rs 2990 instead it is Rs 350. In this matter, the Barclay bank representative is denying on my statement and tried to convince me that the watch that I have received, from ‘Anish & Manuel Support System Pvt Ltd’ having the value of Rs 350 is just a welcome kit and not a joining gift.

                Secondly, from the displayed image on Barclay Card website it is clear that gift will be of Rs 2990.00 has to offer to the customer as Joining Gift, see the image attached. The image below clarifies that, this is the only a single gift that will offer to customer and also on site nowhere has mentioned that welcome kit will given to customer and post full payment is made by customer watch of worth Rs 2990.00 will be delivered to customer.

                Now again when I have a call on 06/23 with bank customer-care representative, it is inform that unless I made a full payment, I shall not be getting a complementary gift watch of Rs 2290.00 only.

                If in this manner, the bank is misleading the customer then how and who will keep faith on the banks. How a customer would trust that calls has verified post complained logged. Since terms and conditions, you commit something before customer agrees and after that, bank denies it. Therefore, I expect that the offer must be cancel and the money should revert to me and I am ready to send back gifts / coupons back to Barclay bank Mumbai.

                Also, let me inform you that I have recorded the call (dated Apr 14 2009) held between me and bank representative, that clearly says that I shall be receiving a welcome kit that, contains the watch and discount coupons before making the full payment, except the vacation offer.

                ThereforeI demand for a clarification, whether the bank is going provide another watch of Rs 2990.00 or the watch that I have received is same that was committed. if the bank demands that same welcome kit contains the gift of Rs 2990.00 then this proves that BARCLAY bank is famous to cheat their customers.

                  Dear Sir,
                  Myself Mr Tanmay kumar Behera want to state that I am a customer of Barclay credit card. During the time when the officials of this group told me that this is a very good offer for credit card and they promised me a lot of things based on which i took this card on Jan ' 2009. But after taking this card i am feeling as if i made a great mistake in my life. Fact is that till date i have not used this card for any of the transaction, still every month i am receiving a statement to pay nearly Rs 10000/- from Feb ' 2009. i have given complaints hundred time to the different officials for this. But every time they are telling me to solve the issue, but till date the problem is not solved. At least every month i am receiving thousands time of call from their office regarding the payment, but no one is helping me out. based on their false promise, i paid Rs 400/- to them on 1st May 2009. But still i am suffering from such issue.

                  I have never seen such a frustrating, harassing and pain giving company in my life. i got distorted like anything, not able to spend a single day without any call from them.

                  After sending a mail to their unit head regarding this, i am still not free from their pain giving.

                  Below is the mail i sent to their official for your information :
                  "Dear Sir,
                  This is to inform you that i, Tanmay Behera have taken your company's barclay credit card few months back. till date i have not used this card for any of the transaction. still bill of nearly 10, 000 is coming for payment from 3months (saying that the amount is due to some policy, which i have never been told to make it). i have given complaints so many times regarding this to your Mumbai, Delhi branches many times. every time each person is telling to take care of this, but no one revert back. based on the request from your side, i paid Rs 400/- so that i can disconnect this useless card. but no one is showing me the way to proceed further.

                  i request you sincerely to guide me for the disconnect of this useless, worst and frustrated credit card in the world (but i can not pay any amount since i have not done any transaction nor told to enroll any policy ) so that i shall be thankful to you because i got frustrated on receiving calls hundreds of time from your side.

                  Hope you can help me in this regard.

                  I request you sincerely to take some serious actions against these falsified groups in India, so that other will not be suffered like me. These people are cheating the innocent people on the name of money and facility providing. They should be punished for such crime.

                  After all, pl help me in this regard so that my credit card can be discontinued permanently and i will not be receiving any call / sms / any payment statement in future from this non sense, useless, fraud groups.

                  Barclay Credit Card — payment towards life policy which i never asked for

                  sir
                  i was approached by barclay bank to accept their free of cost credit card..which i did..but i was in for surprise when with the first stmt i was told to pay for an icicilombard life policy which i never ever asked for..it was just thrown on me forcefully..barclay just washed off their hands..saying they cannot do anything..i called up icicilombard and got it cancelled..
                  but to my surprise..they gave me some other policy again..and this time asked me to pay in emi's..
                  i again called then and explained that i am not interested in any policy..why are they giving me again and again...??
                  thay started calling me at odd hours...when i tried to pick up their call they used to cut it.. they send me msg every now and then..asking me to pay..
                  now they are threatning me that they will go to credit tribunal..
                  i am just not responding to their stupid acts...kindly help..

                    Dear Sir / Madam,

                    I wish to bring to your attention my greivance against Barclay Bank whose credit card I had taken last year. I had purchased goods worth Rs. 1099/- in January 2009 on my Barclaycard Credit Card. My payment due date was 28th Feb. 2009.

                    I stay in the suburbs and would have preferred to make a cash deposit at the Bank's branches to make it an instant payment.

                    Although, I wanted to make a cash payment for the outstanding amount, I had to drop a cheque in the bank's dropbox as Barclay Bank does not have branches across Mumbai except for one at Worli which is very far for me. However, as per Barclaycard records, the payment was realized 2-3 days late, and they have shown a payment received date as 4th March, 2009, in the statement dated dated 07/03/2009.

                    In the same statement, Barclay Card charged me a late payment fees of Rs. 600/-, along with a service tax of Rs. 74.16, debit interest of Rs. 62.72 and a service tax on this of Rs. 7.75, thereby making my total late payment fee of Rs. 744.63 as per their statement dated 07/03/2009 for the month of March.

                    The above stated amount is a flat payment structure that the bank follows and in my case it amounts to a whopping 70% of the total amount that was spent. As per the bank's records, my payment was received by them only 3 days late on which they have levied such high charges. This is gross injustice to be paying such high late payment fees for 3 days. Even the domestic and international money markets do not charge such interest rates for 3 days loans. The overnight call money market rates are also lower than this on a loan of a small amount of Rs. 1099/-. I believe the above said amounts are much higher than the RBI Guidelines.

                    I am shocked by the statements with such high charges that have been coming to me in the months after March 2009 till date. My Barclaycard statement for the month of April 2009, has debited another Rs. 600 + 61.80 + 26.68 + 2.75, making my total outstanding for the month of April 2009 Rs.1, 422.21. For the month for May 2009 also the bank has sent me a similar statement with such high charges and same for June 2009.

                    The bank is charging me month after month and I am requesting them for reversals which they are declining after assurance from the call center executive that someone will look into the matter. I have requested the bank for a reversal on three different occasions which was declined all three times. The credit card company is now sending me a new statement every month and this amount is increasing by Rs. 1000 to Rs. 1500 every time. They have even suspended my card account but are debiting my card account for charges on a compounded basis, while I am still fighting for the first late payment fee reversals. My total outstanding as on today is Rs. 2, 875.65/- which has accumulated due to the compounded late payment fees levied by Barclaycard and not a single penny has been spent by me. These charges are extremely high and unheard of in India.

                    The bank representatives are calling me up at odd hours and mentally harassing me for payment. They are rudely asking me for the payment and are also sending me multiple smses to make payment.

                    I request you to help me in this regard. Please Help and take cognizance of this regard and have my late payment fees reversed which were charged in the first place only due to a delay of 3 days as per the credit card company records. I sincerely request you to help me have all these charges reversed !!!

                    Barclay — Credit Card-Latepayment Fees

                    Hi to All,

                    I holding a barclays Credit Card. My trouble starts when they send me the ICICI Health Insurance Policy without my consent and make the 6 EMI of the total amount without my knowldge after getting my statement i called to the customer service executive they take more than four month to refund and cancel the policy, now they are taking late payment fees on that EMI and giving me the threatning to send your Poor Credibility to the CIBIL so in future your unable to take loan or make CC from any of the bank
                    now what can I do? I think i have to drag the bank into Consumer court.

                    I ma shocked how the Barclay Bank is working, you have given toll free # of MTNL which after couple of ring gets disconnected, and than call your call center with zero dialing which is a STD for us, first we don't get the number from Delhi, and secondly after get connected hold for more than 7 to 8 minutes, gets disconnected, call again, the same thing, the third time you get some one on line, after listening the problem, the answer we get is computers down, this has happened to me for several times.
                    Why on the earth the bank of your stature should be depending on call center, and no where given phone # 's of officials of Barclay bank to complain, and discuss the problem,
                    2- you have no system on website where we can log in and look into our account.
                    3- we get tempted SMS's for movies and other occasion, but with no contact detail,
                    I am really sick & tired, please advise what should I do to me tempted to have your credit card, otherwise kindly send me the final account, so that I can close my account.

                    Barclay Credit Card — Late payment

                    Sir, i had paid the amount of Rs. 1420/- before due date due date was 29.9.09, &* i had droped cheque in skypak box on 24.9.09, but on 29.9.09, i reced sms saying make payment your cheque amt differ, again i paid another cheque and it was cleared on 5.10.09, on 7.10.09, they generate another bill of rs 750/- and due date is 27.10.09.

                    when i checked my bank manager he says the first cheque was not presented to us, only second cheque was present and it was passed for rs. 1420/-

                    now you tell me where is my miskate ?

                    in this regards i make so may email but there is no result.

                      Barclay card — Unauthorised debit to my account

                      Dear Sir/madam,
                      I have Barclay card no.[protected] Company has sent me a bill for priorty Circle membership for which I never applied. I est a e-mail to them but no reply received from them. daily three/ four telephone calls come but they never talk about the authority by which they have raised the debit.
                      When I make a protest they threaten to blacklist my name.
                      I request you to instruct them to show my written authority to debt my accont or they should me made liable to pay the harrasment amount so that they should not do the same with other customers in future.

                          My name is Santosh Kumar and my Barclays card number is [protected]. One day I received a call from Barclays telling you are selected for Barclays Card Priority Circle. You'll have to pay around INR 4, 500. I asked for complete document (Hard Copy). Once I go through the document and understand everything, only then I will be enrolled.
                          They directly enrolled me without my wish and charged me in my latest account statement (I still have not got any document regarding Barclays Priority Circle). I complained the same to Barclays with Email Refno: [protected]. They have simply deceived me.

                          Hi Friends,

                          I am facing problems with the Barclays Card. I am using this card somewhere around June / July 2007. Since then I haven't received any statement from Barclays Card. I used to make payments after confirming the balances with the phone banking. I am receiving statements from all other cards i am holding on the same address but not from Barclays cards. I have already lodged a complaint regarding the same in December 2007, but no action has been taken. Due to this there was a delay for making payment in December 2007 and they have charged me late payment fees and interest
                          I have taken a stand that unless i get the statement i am not going to make the payment. For this they sent me a statement for only January month in which only late payment fees and interest transactions are reflecting. I am continuously in touch with the customer service to send me the statements atleast thru e-mail. But no reply from them.
                          This is really a worst service they are providing.
                          There collection agents keep calling me and request me to make the payment since Feruary 2008, But nobody is bothered about my request for the sending me the statemensts. Everyday some new executive calls me up and i have to tell him all the history again n again. This is really a bit harassment.
                          Can someone please let me know wht legal action can a customer take against this harassment?

                          I am using Barclay credit card from April 2008. In the month of April I swiped my card in GOLDQUEST INTERNATION LTD for Rs. 29460. The company is like MLM. once the card is used, after a month is am suppose to recive the product. But within a month, the company was closed. In all the news it was shown, press told that it's a fake company. This news was shown in South India. After 6 months i was paying my EMI. This month, one of my friend she was also joined in this company, she gave a compliant that is unauthorized payment, once the HDFC bank noticed about this problem, they reveised the amount. My question is after giving a compliant, why your customer care people are telling that they dont have this type of facilities. All the credit card bank will have the same rules. I want this problem has to taken care.I am ready to pay the interest of my usage, but without receiving the product how can i pay. I request you to take this problem very seriously.

                          barclays card — Trap of Barclay card for tour and travel package through priority circle.

                          My self Manjul Dixit, The barclay card offered me the
                          credit card in 2007-08. After some time the called me told me to avail the
                          offer for registration in holiday tour [protected]@Rs. 500/- and with bag
                          after that they call me and taken the conformation. In this regard I
                          called the barclay card again with in two days and said to cancell the
                          offer they told that they did'nt call me and my no. [protected] at which
                          they called me later is not with them and updated. So they told me to call
                          me next day. This action repeated to 4 to 5 days as I call them they given
                          me the same reply.
                          Due to call charges applicable I left calling them repeatedly, after a
                          week they charged me more than Rs 6, 500/- In this regard I again call them
                          and told them that there is a blunder happening with me as I have not
                          availed any facility and I don't know about the offer what it is? why you
                          are charging me? This my kind request to you to
                          terminate the offer, credit my account again. They replied me that this
                          offer can not be cancelled any how and you have to pay the amount. After
                          several communication with the barclays card costomer care they are
                          insisting me to pay the amount and they send me the bag through courier
                          during office hours at my home as I was in office, My buldings lady has
                          received it as she knows me, when I received this courier from her I found
                          there is no name written on the packing from where It had been recieved,
                          after opening the packet I found barclays handy bag.
                          Now several irritating calls are coming from barclay costomer care
                          for paying amount and I replied to get back their bag and correct this
                          amount as I am not availing any facility and this is unfair happening to
                          me. But they are insisting me to pay the amount of Rs. 8737/- with
                          interest and charges.
                          Sir, I am in trap with this bank and feeling uncomfortable, you are
                          requested to persue the matter with the bank. I will be very greatfull to
                          you.

                          I am holding barclays card
                          some body called from barclays half dozen times reg barclays card insurance
                          informed me that insurance is for a year costing me 999rupees and i can with draw if it does not suits before actually siging the documents which will reach me in two to three days if agreed .

                          accordinly barclays did charge me 999 ruppees in my bill but for 15 days i diinot reccd any documents
                          in this context i did lodged acomplaint and asked barclays to cancel the insurance as they have not kept the word of sending documents with in stipulated time
                          after 15 days i did recd the papers from icici prudential for card insurance where in the insurance charges were mwntioned as 344 ruppes only against 999charged
                          when i called barckays they inform that rest 655 hasbeen cahrtged as their adminstative charges
                          which they have not informed me earler that shows they deliberately misinformed and kept the cusromer in dark when i asked them to provide the bill for the charged 655 they inform they cannot
                          this is informed by MR Ganapathi, the call centre employee who took the call on 14, 5 .09 at 7.45 pm.
                          Barclays cannot deny to provide the receipt for the amount chrged .
                          i request barclys to listen the whole conversation and see wheather they have disclosed the contents of the said policy and charges clearly before the accptance if not done barclys has to accpt that they have deliberately concealed the fact s in which they have to refund the entire amount charged

                            To whom it may concern to Barclay credit card department .My card number is [protected] which is GOLD CARD provided by your bank .Problem is that from past 3 months I am telling your bank that i want to do settlement and every time your executive on telephone tell me to pay minimum amount due after that I will get a call from your bank regarding settlement and I am doing same but from past 3 months there is no call from your bank only they call a time of billing date for remiding to pay minimum amount due .What the hell is this and my problem does not stops here if executive collects amount on 4-th of month thenalso in my statement its shows interst amount, late fees inspite of that i always pay through cash .Morover I dont want to have bad realatioship with bank thats the reason from past 1yr I am paying atleast minimum amount due never miss a single month on that .But now I realize this bank is of no worth for consumer its just harrassment and making fool of customer .Now I want to do settlement with final amount of 25000/- which i will give through any day your bank decide(but before end of June-09) and I dont have more money to give to your bank earlair 3 months back i decided to dosettlement by giving Rs 42000/- but in 3months your bank has made me fool .Waiting for your immediate reply and action .

                              Dear Sir,

                              This is to bring your kind attention towards my complaint against Barclays Bank Credit Card. I am regular user and payer of the same card since December 2008. In Dec 2008 The Bank had charged Rs. 3600/- in my account against payment to Bharti Airtel Services at Lukhnow. I have never swapped for the same and I have never visited at Luckhnow in my life. I made a complaint so many time to Customer care of the Barclays on phone and in written. They were just entertaining my words but not interested to solve my problems, even they charged me Rs.100/- as a verification charges for the same. They are not able to produce me the proof of swapping the card.

                              It is interesting to note that they don’t have any place where the customer can directly communicate them. After my so much efforts they credited the disputed amount in May 2009 in my account. Since Dec 2008 to till date I am paying interest thereon. Again they had debited me the same amount in last month without informing me. Sir, I am really fed up due their attitude. They are charging any amount towards my account and giving me a harassment call for that recovery on cell and my office.

                              Sir please help me in this matter and try to solve my problem.

                                  the below is in reg to Credit card Acc no. [protected] for which i m chasing bank for more than 2month
                                  the above has been issued against my name & delivered somewhere else @ senchorian appts 2nd floor gautam nagar
                                  i didn't applied for the card against that address
                                  my adress is C15 1st floor green park extension new delhi

                                  after my visit to your nehru place office it was stated thet the card has been recd by some staff
                                  as per the details in your records

                                  i had applied for a car loan & the case has been rejected because my name is in the defaulters list in CIBIL by your bank & that too without even contacting or informing me

                                  now i m facing a lot of harrasment & humiliation due to the wrong details furnished barclays

                                  also a huge sum of my money is at stake due to this problem which is non refundable
                                  moreover Ms Shobha narayan in their delhi office has declined to give any NOC or letter
                                  she stated of being helpless
