[Resolved]  Blackberry — Poor handset Quality

I am extremely frustrated with my blackberry pearl and everybody who I have asked for help with it!! The charging port has come loose and I am unable to charge the phone!! I sent it to be repaired with phones4u (where i took out the two year contract which i am only 8months into) and was told it would cost £47 to fix. I am not happy to pay this to have it fixed as I am 100% sure it is a fault with the phone as opposed to some damage that i have caused, my partner has the same phone with the same problem and I have many forums complaining about the same problem. Apparently blackberry doesn't cover this problem under its warrenty. I want this sorted as i have now been without the phone for over three weeks and still have to pay the bill at the end of the month.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Phones 4u — Repair

Hi,
I am hoping you can help me.I purchased a motorola defy mobile from,from the Plymouth store, in january this year.
On the 14/05/2011, I took the phone back to the store(the speaker on handset had a problem couldn't hear), so the sales per on checked it,and said he would sent it to the repair dept.take about 2weeks, but usually back within 10 days.no not the case, I'm still waiting,im the one who has chased the repair dept. Spoken to head office, contacted customer service.
Spoke to the repair dept.again week before last and now it s gone to motorola to high level service,im a little concerned to get this phone back a it has taken way to long.
I rang customer service yet again spoke to becky, she contacted the repair dept. And as it will be 28 days on june16 I should get a new phone.she is going to phone me on that morning to let me know what motorola is doing,so about 3/4 days after may get a new phone.my direct debit is still being taken out, i feel very disappointed and let down, as I don't feel I'm getting the help on this matter.l feel very anxious about receiving my phone back if they have repaired it,as if goes faulty again I'm back to going through all this again.I did say that I wanted to cancel my contract as I haven't got my phone, but they wouldn't let me do that, as they are trying to repair it. Hope you can help or advise.

I have purchased one BlackBerry 9630 Mobile Phone online through India Times Advertisement vide Order No.[protected]/- in HDFC Credit Card 6 instalment scheme. The Mobile Phone was delivered during the month of April, 2011 vide Delivery Challan No. [protected]. The speaker of Mobile Phone is not working. I visited Redington BlackBerry Service Centre, MM Marg, Lucknow and requested the Incharge to repair the Speaker of my BlackBerry Mobile Phone. He refused to repair it and asked me to lodge the complaint online with BlackBerry. Please Register my Complaint and get repair of speaker of my BlackBerry 9630 Mobile Phone.
