This totally fraud company of gujarat, ever i had seen in jaipur, i have got a call from Jaipur MGF Mall ragarding that u have won 2n .3d gift voucher from cambay, where u will get holiday across 5 place, jaipur, gandhinagar, ahmedabad, kollam, they said it is free, but when i call toll free number a sunky girl often pick up the phone saying that ([protected] ) it is not free, u have to paid 750 perday, + plus taxes extra, what is dis, they make us fool ????????

i have taken membership of cambay family holidays last dec month, but i got card almost 45 days taking membership also written membership letter u holidays will start after getting full payment,

i was earliar the member of clubmahindra, when i joined it there was hell lot of promises n commitment, that i can book my holidays just in 48 hr before n well have not pay any single peeny for any services n food .but when i went for my booking for goa in dec 08 then i came to know that been a RED 1 BR member (paid RS 399, 948/-) I have to book before 1 year to 6 mts in advance, that was the first shocked then came to know from there customer care that i have to pay for each and every services and for food even .even MR SHAHNAWAZ FAISAL N MR KARAN MIDHA(RM) said that they have there own 13 property but that was again a wronge commitment but the fact is they have there own 3 property only .
well i am also the member of cambay holidays, where whatever promises n commitment made by them was fulfiled . liked they promised that we can book our holidays before 10 days but they gave me booking in jaipur within 2 days of my booking .and also got the discount whatever they promised me on food n other services .and there resort of jaipur was asusam n beautiful n i was also able to meet the team of veer movie as the whole team with salman khan was staying in there resort.

well we are quit disapointed by club mahindra .i would like to say to MR ANAND MAHINDRA that they should not have empolyee like MR SHAHNAWAZ N MR KARAN MIDHA who are blady who give wrong commitment n when we need to talk they never pick the phone nor when we go to meet them in there office they even dont offer a glass of water to us thou we were there memeber

so if any body wants to have holiday membership never ever go to club mahindra (ash hole)

well i was invited by MR ARYAN TELLECALLER ) and was offered a holiday voucher on behalf of coupan which i filled in spice mall n was clearly informed about 2 hr presentation .when i entered in the office of cambay noida the way they behave n welcomed us it was really very nice n the way they have there office decorated i was filling that i am in holiday with my family, the whole atmosphere was in holiday mood.
but due to some personal problem i was not able to sit for 2 hr but they made it comfortable for me by converting it into 1 hr presentation by the prier permission of MR SHIBU GEORGE(BM) .but after 10 min there was a call from my home due to which i was not able to sit for 15 min even .so MR DEEP SHARMA told me that they can call me some other day n he clearly mentioned that the gift voucher will be issued on the day when i will attened the presentation .the way MR DEEP SHARMA talked was very friendly .

then i went to attened the presentation after 2 days, then also they welcomed me n my family .and the presentation given was very informative n attractive n MR DEEP SHARMA was very strait forward person and he told me in the begining that the membership offer is only for today but there was no boundation that when i will join the membership then only i will get the 2N/3D gift voucher, so been a holiday lover i joined the cambay membership.and the day before yesterday i have returned from there kerla resort and i can say my dream has come true for holidays as this well holiday can never be planned by any body .

so i will love to thanks MR SANJAY GUPTA for coming with this beautiful holidays for a family like me

I have been tp combay holidays office in DLF phase I, faridabad road today .I agree the earlier reviews of boring two hours of presentaion cum torn pages of RCI while I met two people Mr. Deepak and Mr. Khan.

Bothe were courteous and put all the effort to make me the member . However i didn't like the idea of compulsive selling concept .

When some one is spending Rs 1, 00000/- decision as a whole at teast 1 day should be given to rethink over final decision.

Even the programme is not favouring the members. It was told we have three plans to choose in slot of 10 years or 20 years :
1. 2 Adult + 2 Kids ( less than 12 years ) at the time of claiming holidays
2. 4 adulta + 2 kids
3. 6 adults + 2 kids

however majority of young people shall like to go far

1. 2 Adults + 2 kids ( till 18 years) assuming 10 years afterwards

However i like the idea of arranging holidays in good ambience.

All these timeshare holiday companies are same be it Club Mahindra or be it Cambay. They provide you with a free holiday voucher but one rarely gets a booking against these vouchers.
So when I got a call from Cambay regarding free 2night holiday voucher, I said I will only visit if you provide me a confirmed booking at any resort but not holiday vouchers. They agreed to give me the confirmation.
But when I reached they had a different story to tell and I left without attending the presentation.

It was at Raghuleela Mall, Vashi.

This thing is like a Scam and I am even thinking of filing a Police complaint against these people and teach them a lesson.

My points on Cambay Holiday Membership / Packages

I visited Cambay's office at Nirmal Lifestyle in Mulund, Mumbai recently (23 May 09).

I agree with the boring (1 hour in my case) presentation bit but overall the package did make sense. People would certainly travel 7 days in a year and if you are getting varied options nothing like it. The sales people were OK at this location. It seems with the package they also provide RCI benefit for 25 / 10 yrs, have reconfirmed this as Mahindra only provide it for 3 yrs (and then if they do not provide for this it would amount to fraud!!!). Forget Cambay properties, the RCI properties itself has an impressive list. Though I haven’t got confirmation whether 5 stars & 7 stars like le meridian, four seasons, etc are a part of RCI which was claimed by the Sales person. But there are other nice resorts in the list.

Since I have not been part of any holiday memberships I am not aware of things one should keep in mind before buying one. It would be great if someone comes with a Things to Know List.

But I cant vouch for Cambay membership as I haven’t been to any of their resorts or holidays. So clue on that experience. If I decide to take it I will surely write on my experience!!

I also got a call from one of the representative of CAMBAY to attend a function at SAB MALL NOIDA. He told that this gift voucher of 2day/2night package can be given only to a couple. I told that my mummy is only coma as my father is out of station then he said that we can not give the voucher untill a couple would come to collect it.I dunno if I should tell any other couple to go and collect the voucher or just leave this as any other fraud case.

Cambay Spa & Resaurts — Advance taken by false committments

Dear Sirs,

I was invited by Cambay Spa and Resorts at their Gurgaon office on 30th Aug 2009. The company representative provided me the details of their membership that made me believe that if I chose their blue membseship, I can enjoy stay at their resorts by intimating 21-30 days in advance. I paid them Rs.12878/- by credit card and agreed for an EMI of Rs.3000/- per month for 24 months.

Subsequently I was informed that I can enjoy the stay only during selected seasons and my EMI is Rs.3466/-.

Since I was provided false information I applied for refund of my advance. The company representative has denied the refund.

There are lots of complaints over Cambay and especially the NOIDA office, and Varun Kalra.
I am posting the complaints that appear on another webpage. I have myself written a grievance on that page. We should all get together and get united. We need to lodge an FIR against Cambay Holidays. Whatever they are doing is the height of fraud. They should be booked under 420.
Please call up the numbers given below and get in touch with the affected people. It is better to talk over phone rather than let fake people from Cambay join a group among us on internet.


Cambay Holidays is a fraud company

I, Ashish Dhawan was invited by the telecalling agents of Cambay holidays to collect a free holiday gift voucher. I had visited their noida office with my family on 4th july. There instead of giving me the free voucher they started to advertise about the comapny's various offers. Even after I insisted that I am not interested in any kind of membership they kept on offering me with lucrative offers. Finally I and my wife agreed to their offer of one year membership which they said would cost us Rs. 12878/- out of which we will receive a cash back of Rs. 8000/- within 30 days. The membership included a seven days holiday anywhere in India for four adults and two kids. it also included access to the cambay clubs throughout the year.

I was shocked after receiving the documents of the membership by post. It said that the membership is for 10 years and I will have to pay Rs. 101000/- and only after paying this amount I would receive a cash back of Rs. 8000/-. The document read that the membership is only for two adults and kids instead of four adults that was promised. It didnot mention anything about the cambay clubs membership.

After receiving the documents I called them up and also gave a complaint on mail, but they didnot reply back. After calling them after a week of written complaint they denied to give the cash back with very harsh words and also embarassed me on taking their membership. They also are not ready to cancel the membership and pay back the entire amount.

I am extremely depressed by their response and would seek consumer courts help to get my hard earned money back.

I agree with you Mr. Dhawan they are a fraud company.I also faced a similar problem as yours.And the guy Varun kalra manager of noida branch I am definately going to put him behind bars he is the biggest cheter I met.And he respondent not well with me.

This guy Varun Kalra also cheated me. He said we will get a cash back of 8000, but after chasing them for 2 months i wrote to the company and the company told me that we will only get a cash back if we will give them some active references. Which was shocking. varun Kalra took my signature by fraud on a 12878 rs receipt, and after 2 months i got a 2500 rs eni charge on my credit card.

i went back to their manager DEV SHARMA, but he told me that varun was caught in a fraud and they fired him, and i should wait for my money. But the next day it seemed that this guy Dev Sharma was even a bigger cheat, and Varun kalra is still in the company. they are all frauds, and the whole management supports them. they just make you many delightful promises, and get your signatures on some initial papers, and you are trapped.

We will all have to gather and do something about these guys as these kind of people are like cancer in our society and they should be stopped urgently.

Varun Kalra needs to be arrested for fraud

Varun Kalra from the NOIDA office of Cambay Holidays in Sab Mall, is the biggest con-man/bluffmaster/fraudster that I have seen till now. I agree fully with Mr. Nadeem Khan above where he says Varun Kalra is the biggest cheater and needs to be behind bars. I have talked to Mr. Nadeem Khan over phone as well.
He is committing crime daily
1. He asks for ID card first. When you say you don't have it, he says can I have credit card. You show it to him. He snatches it, and leaves immediately. He comes back with two charge slip. One is normal charge slip of 12, 878 and the other has the card number embossed on it. You ask him why did you swipe the card without my permission and behind my back and he says - "Sir paise lene mein hum der nahin karte hahahahaha". You ask him what is this other slip where you have embossed by card and he says - "Sir it is same as your Rs. 12, 878 payment". Actually this thing is for the EMI of Rs. 1, 00, 000 payment for the 10 year membership that will start automatically on you credit card.
2. He makes a lot of false promises that amount to cheating (420). First that we will get a refund of Rs. 8, 000 along with a stay for 6 nights at any 5 star hotel without any charge or taxes. He mentions a lot of destinations in a way that seem like someone saying names of dishes at a dhaba. The offer seems very lucrative. Only after he has swiped your card will he tell you about the real thing and that too only if you ask him in detail about each thing. You will get the discount of Rs.8000 after 45 days. He makes a false claim that you do not need to pay Rs. 1, 00, 000 before the company gives you the discount. He says he is giving references in your name. He says the EMI will not start automatically and the company will call you before they start the EMI.

All of this is untrue. You will get the Rs. 8000 discount only if pay them the 1, 00, 000 along with two new references who should also become a member.The EMI for Rs. 1, 00, 000 will also start automatically.
Remember the slip where the card was embossed and the hurry in which Varun Kalra got your signatures here and there and everywhere.
All this is horrific. They are getting members really fast. Besides me I saw two new members within an hour when I went there. They are cheating people. And it is coming out in the open.
In the end Varun Kalra will simply say to you Sir, please cancel your card and file a dispute with the credit card. May be you will get back your first EMI of Rs. 2600. Sir, Forget the Rs. 12, 878. You cannot get it back.
If you get agitated he will insult you and throw you out saying - "Jo karna hai kar le"
This guy needs to be taught a lesson.
I am sure he cannot do all this independently without the complicity of his managers. The NOIDA manager once said to a person that Varun has been fired because he was accused in fraud, while Varun was actually working in the office. This implies the manager (Deep) is also involved deeply.
I think the company knows about this person and has received complaints. They are working to sort out the matter. I could see that regional managers are scrutinizing the NOIDA office.
But this company needs to do a lot of damage control if it wants to keep a good name in the market.
People like Varun Kalra will take down the reputation of company if the company is trying to build one.
We must all get united and find out people who have been cheated by Varun Kalra. These guys should not go scott free and continue to cheat people.
Even if we have lost our money let us stop these guys from cheating any more innocent people and robbing them of their hard earned money.

Cambay Holidays is taking notice of this page as well. They called up people who have complained on this forum.
They are also trying to put in fake people on this page. One of them going by the name of Simran Sharma, writes "Cambay is the best holiday planner" This is in response to Ashish Dhawan's original complaint. Simran Sharma, which branch of Cambay Holidays do you work in? NOIDA or Gandhinagar? Could you please post your contact information, email or phone?

I very much agree with above comments. Cambay is really a fruad company. I am also one of the victim of the same.

We too have been duped by Cambay people.
we had paid sum of Rs.15768 (Application Sl No:002669 ) towards one year trial membership on 24/07/09 in whichwe were promised 3nights/4days holiday and were also promised membership of Stellar Gymkhana, Greater Noida.Ms Dibya Rana Sales Manager and Bhawna at Cambay Noida office in Sab Mall who sold us this membership
We did not need the holiday part as we already have RCI membership and had made it clear to them that we will take the trial offer only to avail Steller Gymkhana facilities.
After much follow up we got the kit after more than 2 months in which there was no card for steller Gymkhana.
We came to know that Cambay has no such tie up with Stellar Gymkhana, we feel cheated and duped. We want to get the refund the above amount paid by us. In this regard we visited Sab mall Noida on 15/11/09 and handed over the refund / cancellation request to Mr.Inder Arora, venue incharge.
On 26/11 we spoke to Siddharth in their Gurgaon office who directed us to Shibu George after finding no solution to our complaint after 2 weeks. We spoke to Shibu George on 10th Dec and 16th Dec and he seemed to be in Gandhinagar all the time. We have been in constant touch with Mr.Inder Arora on 15/11/09 26/11/09 10/12/09 & on 16/12/09 we presented a written letter for refund. He verbally agreed that we have been duped. Finally on 21st Jan we met Ms Priti Pant (customer care incharge)

After much discussion and wait she sent a written mail on 13th Feb stating that they have agreed for refund which will be given in a week. However on 24th she gave a missed call and on contact stated that the Cambay staff had misplaced our correspondence for refund and wanted us to resend the same. We believe this is a time delay tactic to mislead.
Apart from having our hard earned money blocked, our interaction with Cambay has caused us a lot of frustration and wasted a lot of our time as we have been chasing different shades of personalities at Cambay Holidays !
In case other harried customers have complaints against Cambay, please contact us within a week.
