[Resolved]  Credit Card — Name in Satyam Defaulters List

I think all these banking and financial institutions act smart at times, but, consumers also become smarter -it s like a race sometimes they win and sometimes the consumer! People who default are still getting loans and will continue to get them even in future as they are smarter even in the best governed economy o[censored]S. the best thing is to rely on your personal financial savings and good investments which yield good returns. Credit cards, loans, etc are just banes - that is something I realized after being a victim of those ' impulsive urges'. Its true that you need a loan for buying a house if you are a working middle class individual as the home prices are beyond reach. Live in rental projects as per your budgets and invest the rest in high yielding instruments till you make a substantial saving on that! even if you take a home loan for say 20L for 15-20 years, you are anyways paying almost the same amount to the bank in interest. So, even if the property value trebles in those many years, you are not making much!! Or buy homes in small towns, which are good for living in long run after retirement...I am a supposed defaulter but I am not going to pay a single pie to the banks in interest, as, they just make you dependent!! So, HSBC, HDFC, StanC and ABN (my favs!!) just write off my debts as NPA (I think that is what you call the term...I don't want to improve my credit which is anyways good...

Name in Satyam Defulters List whereas I have fulfilled all the conditions of HSBC credit card dept.

Hi,

This is regarding a credit card I had from HSBC BANK, credit card # [protected], due to some unavoidable situation i couldn't make a few payments to this bank against my credit card.

However when I was contacted by the collection department of the bank I made full payment at one go. Asked by the bank, but still after a few months of making the payment I fail to build up any financial relationship with any other bank instead of having very good track record with all other bank .My name has not removed from the Satyam Defaulter List. Moreover HSBC credit dept are no more response whenever i try to contact them. Even they didnot give me any clearance letter or NOC, or ZERO payment letter so that atleast I can show this letter any other bank during dealing with them.

Now I dont know what to do, should I go to court to file case against HSBC credit card or still i should run after the HSBC bank as they are no more responsing in a positive manner.

Please help me get out of this problem as it has already caused me a lot of trouble.

This is regarding a credit card I had from Sate Bank of India, due to some unavoidable situation I couldn't make few payments to this bank against my credit card.

However when I was contacted by the collection department of the bank I made full payment at one go for the settlement amount vide there letter no.NIL dated 29 DEC 2005 asked by the bank, but still after 3 years9 months of making the payment I am fail to build up any financial relationship with any other bank instead of having very good track record with all other bank since State Bank of India, has not removed my name from the Satyam Defaulter List.

Please help me get out of this problem as it has already caused me a lot of trouble.

I shopped from Big Bazaar on 13.10.2009 for Rs.281.59 and paid the entire amount of Rs.282.00 by cheque. Cheque no.272549 dated 04.11.09 through corporation bank on ABN AMRO drop box in Kushambi at 8.00 AM. The amount was deducted from my bank on 12.11.2009, later I got the conformation from ABN AMRO bank through SMS.I got a SMS that your card bill of Rs.399.41 with due date 07.12.2009 has been sent & will reach you in next 7 days. I am unable to understand as to which amount the bank talking about.After contacting the bank they told me that this was late fee amount. I am unable to understand that when i deposit the entire amount before the due date why they ask me for the late fee.

kindly look into the matter and do the needful to the earliest.

I have a Personal loan from HDFC bank and due to personal reasons i skipped 1 EMI ( this month) and i have been regular payer for last 3 years and i am working for a reputed company. Unfortunately when i travelled i lost my mobile and was not unable to reach anybody. The bank executive called up my office landline and used abusive language and threatned my team member's which spoiled my name in my team. I have the proof who is the executive from HDFC and also manager who is supporting him from the HDFC bank.This is really ridiculous dont they understand the criticality of the things what they do??? please suggest how do i file case againt them??? i really felt they are harrasing not only me but also my team member's who are not related to this issue...am i getting punished for not making the 1 EMI????? Do the excutives do anything for their money ...Someone please help.
