I have been for purchase in your kolhapur department store, on date06/06/09 vide bill noBD-1579 in that the man who is A STORE MANAGER, i asked him my material to be packed in some diffrent carry bags as per my suitability, as my materials where all eatbels for travellings to be given in bus, he told he cannot do so, on that,
I told him " if, you peopel cannot co oprate in this small arrangments, then we shall think for visiting your store in future " he told clearly, : YOu MAY NOT VISIT THE STORE AGAIN: .
IS this the way to treat the customer in your d mart stores.
i mate written complaint with my cell nunber in your store on same time, but there is no any positive responce,
may that person had taken that complaint chit from complaint box.
all these thing have been recorded in your cammeras of store, pls do check.

I was very shocked and surprised to hear from the D’ Mart employee Mr. Atish Gaikwad coming towards one of my friend and ordering him to disconnect the phone call (as my friend was talking on his personal mobile phone with his family). The reason he was told is that they (D’ mart) don’t allow talking on phones and sharing offers/MRP to friends or family. Mr. Gaikwad was using tough language and not at-all having manners to speak to a customer. He straight away started blaming that you have come here to disclose the rates (I think he has used “Bench Marking” term) to their competitors. Then my friend also was very upset as he was visiting for the first time from Bangalore to pune and that too in D’mart store. It was also very embarrassing situation for me, and then instead of arguing with Mr. Gaikwad, we thought of speaking to the Store Manager on this issue. Firstly he himself was pretending to be a floor manger and the main store manager is on leave- was told to us. The argument lasted for almost 20 to 25 minutes & then requesting to another employee standing nearby guided us to manager’s cabin. Before we could meet the Manger Mr. Gaikwad already reached him and informed him all the matter in his style,
I showed him the last dialled numbers (they were all Papa, Mummy, Nilesh- Bro, etc) and also informed him how Mr. Gaikawad started the argument without even thinking about D Mart’s image. But Now instead of apologising or saying sorry the Manger (Mr. Onil) too supported his employee and informed us to next time come with family members rather than keep on calling every one and informing them the best rates. This was height of nonsense people in D Mart. Then i requested the manager to show us about the company’s term and conditions or any policy letter stating not to use phone while shopping or not to disclose the rates to anyone.
I am having the full voice recording of the argument between us and D Mart’s mangers.
It was for the first time I came to know from D’mart that talking on phone is not allowed while shopping (Mr. Atish gaiwad’s courtesy) next time I will never visit the store and suggest other too the same.
