Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Prem Nagar, Janak Puri, New Delhi -110058. Our house ground floor, First Floor & 2nd Floor receive impure & dirty water, which is unfit for drinking, even after repeated filterations.
It seems that Sewar Water is leaking somewhere and it is mixed with that.

The water we get through our taps, completely defeats the inherent properties of water. It is usually brown, contains visible impurities & tastes horrible. At times it smells so badly, as if it's coming directly from some drains.

We don't even feel like washing our clothes from that water, let alone drinking.

So Please Help us to get the pure water

There a chance of any epidememic decease to be spread.

NO WATER TANKER HAS BEEN SENT TILL DATE

Respected Sir,
We, the residents of DURGA PARK BLOCK A-3 AND A-4 NEW DELHI-45, are not getting any water supply for the last five months. This is a regular problem every year for the last five years and the residents of this do not get water supply during summer months (from March to September)
Though Delhi Jal Board changed water pipeline in our area, but the problem is still there. But in other gali no. 1 to 14 there is regular supply of water.
So many complaints have already given in written.
Everyday, we have to spend Rs.40/- to Rs.70/- on drinking water and Rs.100/- on water for washing, cleaning and bathing. Besides this one member of every house have to spend 4 to 6 hours daily to arrange for this water. Our area is at the end of the water distribution line.
Problem can be solved by controlling this unothoriged drawing of water or laying separate water line for the area from the main water line.
Now I rquest your office to look into the matter and help us in solving our water problem

Similar problem is being faced in our area at Gali no. 5, Pahar Ganj, Multani Danda, New Delhi-110055. I'm resident of House no. 9253 in the above said area. Our area is also situated towards the end of water distribution line. This problem is also being faced in our area from a long time. This fact has been brought to the notice of ZE of our area in writing as well as orally for many times but no action has been taken on our request yet. We have also approached to the M.L.A. of our area many times but the problem remains the same.

It appears to the a water mafia prevailing in our area due to which we are forced to buy the water from outside.

Jahangir Puri bearing the house numbers from 2600 to 2800. Though the water
supply is being supplied in entire colony including all the neighboring streets, but
only these streets suffers a lot as water is not supplied . The problem persists for
last two and half years. .

it is two weeks over but not even a drop of water come
out form the taps . Complaints in this regard have been lodged frequently but no
concrete action has been taken so far. The residents are running from pillar to
post but to no avail. In fact, they are being provided phone numbers one after
another, making calls from which proved no help. The Junior concerned do not
bother to visit the site. The residents feel that the problem is being caused
deliberately.

It is, therefore, requested to look into the matter and take
immediate action in order to get us rid of this problem

to day i visited djb office at najafgarh for new connection of water supply for 27 sq. yards. meet mr. bhardwaj room no. 111. he gives me a details of water supply connection as bellow :

dc Rs. 3564 + Rs. 1900 for (Security + Road cutting) + 1000 my personal charges. i[censored] are agree than suit the file otherwise go in side cover the file & submit.

than i wen to other room their a man told me he is right. first of all u purchase a file cover & a photo id card with attested by gz. officer, form & house paper. than after a long time veryfying your hose byJE & ... after that ( 2month ) u got a new connection.

We are the residents of YZ allots of Chtra Gupta Road are not getting water through
our terrace tank for the last four month. Only water is getting10 -15 minutes in the direct supply line in the morning. The water supply is stopped in the evening also. We filled the water in the bucket and use this water upto 9.00 Am. After that no single drop of water is available in our quarter. The underground water is not even filled up and the water does not reach in the terrace tank even after pump is operation. vihar, New Delhi-110062*, actually I want to draw your kind attention
towards the *problem faced by residents of this locality since a week*,
before this every thing not very good but ok, that was satisfying. Our
tankers are filled and sent from G.K-I, the person who sent tankers named
Mr. Surender. He managed very well since four or five Years, as I know, he
also adjust M.L.A as well as CCR with the general people, everyone is
satisfied by that process. But now, I don't know who set *some local persons
* and divide only two tankers in each area, *if somehow the tankers of an
area incidently not working properly, not covered by tankers of other areas,
it means u have to wait about two days without water because there is no
water source in this area and this area is about 15 to 20 sq. km.* *The
private person, who now sending tankers do not adjust any complaint, weather
it is from CCR, weather it is from CM office.* Yesterday, we resident of our
locality were standing there since 5 A.M., but don't got water, *CCR
complaint which is on add- 367/7, was sent by the govt. representative (Mr.
Surender), but it was cut by the persons sending tankers.* NowI want to know
how the persons who do not have proper position can neglect the request of
an govt. representative. At last I want to say that I don't how you manage
and oppose the system applied through private persons, but I know only this
if you don't do this soon, people about 20, 000 are in serious problem. I
request you to give the power of register and sending tankers in the hand of
Mr. Surender because he know this area very well.I hope you think on my
request and take strict steps soon and give response as reply as
you received this mail.

i am a resident of sangam vihar.The biggest problem of this area is that the petty peoples are controlling the life of people here. They do what they like.Cases like water supply in 3-5 days is common and that is not enough the timing of these water supply are very irregular and odd like 3 am in mid night. when people try to take rest at their nest they have to toil hard to fill their water utensil and failing to that they have to be deprived of water for next 2-3 days.These silly and rascel people even didn't know that peoples have to go for their jobs and by giving water supply in these odd times hamper their either sleep or thrust.Please take some steps immediately.Yours faithfully, A thrusty resident of d-3 sangam vihar.

Here, we are facing trouble in MCD water supply, as the quality of MCD water supply is not good.
The quality of water supply is dark black in colour and with a bad smell. It seems that severage water is coming in our residential area.

Supply pressure is very low and does not reach even upto the pump intake on the ground floor.
Today, water supply was for half an hour or so only .Yesterday, supply totally failed.

Dear Jal Board, One hand there is acute shortage of water and other hand in Entire Okhla Ph III area, Ground water level coming in each basement and getting waste. Please examine the situation and provide the same to needy one.

No Water from last 7 Days in Savitri Nagar

I am a resident of Savitri Nagar in South Delhi. There is no water supply in some of the particular lines in this area . We are unable to send childrens to school. Being the hot summer period, we have not taken even bath during the Navaratra period. There is few house who have multiple lines and getting water thru another line.
It is very ridicules condition. I have heard a lot about this portal that here most of the problem can be solved easily. So I request to my Government and honorable authorities to take some useful steps so that we can live easily in our Delhi.

It is my humble request to improve the condition of water supply here.

it is an apeel to every body who want to save water for our next generation. Please install any system to avoid overflow of water because it is very precious. Look what we have all around water on earth but there is only 3% of drinking water . Apparently, DJB have repaired the pipe behind B-51/1 to B-59/1 instead improving water supply the position has detrirated further resulting no water supply or erratic water supply. Please do the

Sir, tanker driver do not come on the fix days and bring water after 15 to 20 days when we meet the driver personally. He always replies that my tankar was in trouble on that day. I come next day. But after waiting whole day. We do not get water supply after waiting whole day again and again. which hampers our day to day working.

So please consider our problem and order to related officer to solve our problem and make supply of water regularly on the fix day as per norms and oblige us.

Recently I received a bill of Rs 508 for the water consumption. This bill was ALSO showing a previous outstanding of Rs 253 where as it is already paid vide cheque No. 466828 on Syndicate Bank dated[protected] and debited from my account on[protected]. Passbook entry can be produced if required as a proof of transferring account to Jal Board.

It is not understood why such a blunder is done by a large government organization. Will you refund with other service charges already charged by you and explain the procedure to get it refund.

SUB: VERY HIGH AMOUNT OF MY BILL NO.782178 DT.28.4.2012 FOR Rs.2178/- for on 1 month 8 days – k no.[protected]

I refer to my above Water bill which is very much on the high side. Even for Electricity bill I do not pay of such huge amount.
The Unit used is only 70 unit. I enclose copy of last bill which was only for Rs.881/- and that too for 92 units of the same connection.
There is something wrong in your calculation. Or Reader has wrongly taken the reading on the very high side. How can be so much difference in previous bill which was for Rs.881/- only for 5 months and now bill under complaint has come for Rs.2178 for only 1 month 8 days. It is a clear picture of some mistake at your end. I have paid this bill under protest.
Kindly check and arrange to refund the excess amount paid by me.

Sub: Drinking water problem in some area of Madangir

Respected Sir,

We are resident of Madangir Block E-II. We are facing the grave problem of water. Only houses No. E-II 68 to 78 and E-II 87 to 106 facing this problem, but in the same block except these houses other houses have no any problem of water. The supply of water is continuing without other houses have no any problem of water. The supply of water is continuing without any problem or restriction.
In our houses water supply is being only for one time and only for fifteen minutes, sometimes this water contaiminated, but except these houses water supply is being for two time morning & evening for one an hour daily.
We have been facing the same problem for last some months . We have loged a written complaing to concern authority manytimes, but they take no any action there for condition is as it is.
We take water from other's houses with lot's difficulties.
We hope you understand our problem and help us as soon as possible.

Dear Sir,

We wish to bring following facts to your kind notice:-

1. That we are the residents of Gali No. 8, 9, 10 and 11 of Raj Nagar Part II Extn. Dwarka Sector 8, New Delhi.

2. That main Water Pipe Line was laid during 1997-98, supplying water in this area i.e. Gali no.8 and later on
Water was supplied to gali no. 9 to 11.

3. That feeder Water Pipe Line was laid between Gali no. 8 to 11 in this area in the year 2008. All the water connections from main water pipe line were disconnected and new connection from feeder water pipe line was provided.

4. That the depth of main Water Pipe Line is 5’ and the depth of feeder Water Pipe Line is 3’.

5. That the water flows in main pipe line and the height being constraint for the feeder water pipe line, no water flows in the feeder water pipe line. Resulting NO WATER SUPPLY to the residents of Gali No. 8, 9, 10 and 11 of Raj Nagar Part II Extn. Dwarka Sector 8, New Delhi.

6. That in case if no water is supplied through feeder line, the residents shall be compelled to get the connection from main water supply line.

PRAYER
To over come this problem it is humbly requested that to ensure the water supply in this area the engineer be requested to visit the area and needful action be taken by DJB.

We shall be grateful if an urgent action is taken so that life of the peoples could be made easy.

Attitude of Delhi Jal Board is not neutral. They always favor the community colony block for the distribution of water. We are suffering very badly due to water is not supplied in 31 Block West Patel Nagar from the last three days. This is regular feature and we never get the smooth supply and sufficient water washing bathing etc. It is really shame on us as citizen of india.We are the income tax payee and every kind tax is paid. Now we are frustrated and prepairing to file a case in court or complaint in sonia darbar or street procession.

I am a resident of P Block, Gali No. 2 Raj Nagar Part II, Palam Colony, There has not been any water supply from Sunday, July 26, 2014 in P Block of Raj Nagar. Although there are two tubewells which supply water to this block. One tubewell is in Gali no. 3 and another tubewell is in Gali No 1 (near Govt Sr. Sec. School). But it seems that some people have intentionally stopped the water supply from these two tubewells to the resident of P Block. We are forced to buy the waters from Pvt. water suppliers.

Please look into this and try to restore the water supply as soon as possible.
