[Resolved]  Dish TV — Cancellation of Subscription

I had made two payments for subscription of DishTv. The first one was made in September 2007 for renewal of Maxi service for one year. The subscription was discontinued in December, saying that it has been expired. I made another payment for further renewal of 6 months, as I had misplaced the previous payment receipt. Since December, DishTV has decided to disconnect my connection every month, and I have to call them and re-explain my ordeal every time for them to bless me with their service. However, till date, even after I have been assured by numerous customer service executives and also their supervisor, I do not see any improvement in the condition. As I am writing this message, my connection has been disconnected, though my payment has been made to them (proofs of which are available) till March 2009. My VC number for reference is [protected]. FYI, they have the copies of the payment receipts, the details of the issue and the log of all previous complaints. But it seems as if they have sworn of not getting the connection activated and pester me till I die of frustration.

Consequences : Apart from the monetary loss due to disconnection, I miss out on various TV channels everytime my subscription gets disconnected. Also, the phone calls to them is also not very cost effective, not to mention the frustration that they make me go through everytime this happens.

you can do F.I.R. against them,

otherwise plan to get the other company dth..
but take this action when you r fully totalled !
and make sure to go to their's centre, talk them face to face,
may be the service agents dont'know it or they may have the bond to not to reveal any type of problems to their head or something like that..

also try to talk to their's HOD
or lastly take the STB and throw into theirs store in front of them in a very harsh ful, rude manner ..
and say that... "bheekh mein rakh lo"
