With the above reference no. we had installed Dish TV on September 2nd 2008. First week we were able to view the channels after that suddenly the service was disrupted. On enquiring the customer care we hear that the subscription charges has not been deposited in our a/c.

While during installation itself we had paid both the installation as well as subscription charges. Then after contacting the local dishcare center (Perfect Traders, Panipat) they have confirmed that due to some problem in their Net they have not forwarded the request.

But I am surprised that for more than a week this has been procrastinated for which we are suffering now. To add to the woe the response and reaction from the local care center is also lukewarm - not picking up calls/attending calls directly etc.

Despite my personal visit to dealer and constant follow ups both at Noida office & local dealer the service has not yet restored till date.

This kind of, state of affairs not only spoils the Brand Image of the Company but also hinders the Value and Goodwill of the Company.

Do responsible people sitting there realise this ???

    My dishtv vc - [protected]. I have made number of complaint to the dishtv India over phone in this regard. On[protected] someone from the Noida office talked to me and told that your setup box will be collected and checked free as there seems to be problem in that. But there is no further response. I have paid back the full subscription of one year. I want my subscription back and return of dishtv with my full money back. It is really nightmare to have dishtv connection. I will never recommend the same to others.

      My VC No-[protected]. Most of the time some channels are displaying "Conditional Access" for 2-3 days then it will running properly. Now sahara Filmy & Sahara One have been conditional access since 2 days.

      i have also tried to complaint with tel No[protected] but telephone has not responding. please sort out the problem.

          Sir,
          Buying a dish is a one time process. The strength of the company lies in the after sale service/ support/ latest ammendmaents as per changing market.

          As per the rate charged by dish tv for a package is comparitively much higher and the number of channels are much less compared to mthe other dth services.

          New channels like BINDAAS, COLORS, UTV MOVIES etc are never been telecast.

          My recent experience with Dish TV shows that the after sales support of Dish TV is pathetic and deplorable. the customer care executive are illeterate with no experience to talk. it seems that a bunch of illeterate people have been employed there who just come there to pass their time.

          nearly half the time 8- 10 channels are never on air. There is always a problem in the signal. I take the maxi pack everymonth and fell myself to be fooled by watching only half of the channels.

          My problem is never seen into altousg I have contacted DISH TV a hell number of times.

          DISHTV THINKS THAT IT HAS A DIPLOMANCY IN THE MARKET BUT IT FAILS TO UNDERSTAND THAT TODAY IS A DAY OF SERVICE AND PEOPLE TODAY HAVE MORE OPTIONS TO GET INTO.

          I WILL MNAKS SURE THAT EVERYPERSON THAT I MEET COMES TO KNOW THE REALITY BEHIND DIDHTV

          Dear, it is your fault that you dis not enquire about dishtv India before buying it. You have made a sin, now pay for it. But take solace that dishtv India bosses are getting your money. Beggers they are!

          this is related to such a unreasonable service by you, as such there are so many competitors in this industry still there is no provision to provide a good service to your customers. We have not been able to watch cricket matches just because you have npot tied up with organizers, is it our fault? please do something as such your service is also EXTREMELY POOR NO RESPONSE FROM YOUR CUSTOMER CARE.                 Transaction # 24801283 dated 14/08/2008 for Rs. 300
                I have paid the above amount a day before due date even
                then my acount has been deactivated. After lodging about 10 complaints nobody is there to take care of the problem.
                I am unable to understand where to go and what to do.

                my registration no.[protected].Dish TV installed in my house just 1 month before ie.3.9.2008 with one year free channel pack. Now Tamil Channel the word appearing in the channel no access .We are not getting Sun TV, Raj TV, KTV Jaya TV in our TV .                 i am very disturb to dish tv, last time i am using siver(99 rs/permonth) plan, but dish tv active maxi plan (300 rs/per month ) with out any information .Iam already disscuss this problem with dish tv cusomer care, but customer care not fulfill this problem, customer care active my silver plan but some rupees cut in my account, why cut rupees my account, please tell me .

                I am using the dish tv Setup Box from last 04yrs, i amke the recharge of rs 500/- freedom package but now your latest information is that you will enjoy the SONY/STAR PLUS channels in this packages with no extra charges. But unable to recive this service so as a request activate these channels and renewal date and expire date is not displaying in the set up box.

                As you have recharged with Platinum pack, let me tell you their are certain channels which are not available in platinum pack Star One, Hungama, Disney and Toon Disney.

                For subscribing to thiese channels you can go for ala-carte packs. Starry [protected]@ Rs.35+ Tax.

                Also now dishtv have launched new packages in which your platinum pack is having all these channels and it will be automatically updated.

                Dish TV — No access on all Star channels

                I have got 2 STBs with VC No. [protected] and [protected]. For the last 4 days there is no access of all Star Channels on one VC No. [protected] whereas renewal was done for both on same day. I do not understand why access is being denied on one VC.
                I am you customer and my VC NO. is [protected]. I tried customer care No. many times but in vain. In my gold pack, channel No. 659, 661, 662 are shown no access on screen. please activate my Star Cricket, ESPN, Star Sports channels as soon as possible so that I can enjoy the cricket matches.

                  I had made complain on the above subject on 15th Aug -08 . Since no technician turned up to taatend the complain I again made complain on 19th Aug (Comp no:[protected]. Even after repeated reminder to customer care of DISTV and the their franchides the complain has not been attened till this time i.e at 1815 hrs of 21st Aug -08. I may like to mention that I have paid the early subscription and have anual maintenanace contract also. It is just a fraud with customer that even after repeated request the complain has not been attended.

                    Sir, I purchased a Dish TV Set Top Box alongwith Antenna from Chabra Sport Shop, Kishan Ganj, Delhi-110007. From the date of purchase it is not working at all. Last time when I made a complaint to Sh. Anjani Kumar of Dish TV, Phone No. [protected] and [protected] he asssured me that his men are coming to my place but till date they have not come. It seems that I have wasted my money on the above product. Yesterday also Mr. Anjani Kumar promised to attend the cmoplaint but of no avail.

                      I have DISHTV Multi card account activated since December and March respectively. From 4th August my Parent account has been deactivated and logging an complaint deactivated my Child account since 6th August. After loging many calls through Phone, WEB and e-mail and getting DISHTV confirmation that problem is due to wrong billing. My both Parent and Child account is still deactivated.

                      I am leaving in Cambodia. (South East Asia). I just want to know that your Dishtv will work in Cambodia or not.
                      I have taken DISHTV connection on 09.12.2007 and paid Rs. 5200 to (Rs. 3600 as 12 month subsription and rest amount as installation/instrument charge). For the last one month "No Accress" message is coming on the screen of TV. I have already paid 12 month subcription, so It should not disconnected till 08.12.2008.                       I have been lodging complaints since 05 nov 08 but so far nothing has been taken to solve my problem.I have multi-connection with parent VC No.[protected].On one of the child connections(VC No.[protected]) i am not able to see any channel.Whenever i contact your customer care they tell me to refresh the channel on channel no. 550 but nothing happens. On contacting the local service centre they replied the same.Later they asked me to deposit the set top box with them, so i did deposit it with them on 26 Nov 08 vide their recpt no.3926 dated 26 nov 2008 but they also could not solve the problem.One day i recd the call from your customer care that i should take back the set top box if they were not able to rectify the problem, and you would do the needfull.I did the same and took the box back on 08.12.2008 vide their recpt no. 3946.Later i talked to Mr Yogesh of your tech. service and lodged the complaint no. 18358402 on 09.12.2008 and he promised me that a man from tech ser would be sent within 24 hours but again after 2 days no action has been taken.

I have taken dishtv connection last year on name of santosh kumar.I have a complaint that the channels which are free till one year are not available on tv.there are no such informations given to us.We are regularly making complaints, but there are no replies. I made a complaint in month of december for which we were not given any engineer and when asked your executive say that the engineer was being sent. I now want that all the channels removed should be returned within two days and not be removed untill my subscription is free.I also want to make a complaint that games active is also not working so you must look on my problems and solve them within given time.

                        HELLO,
                        This is to bring to your kind notice that i had taken a subscrition of Dish TV some 4 years back for my Residence in the name of my mrs., Mrs. Smita Chordiya, Kasliwal Aangan, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Ulka Nagari Road, Aurangabad- 431005, through local dealerby paying a sunbscription fee of Aprox Rs 4200/- for a service of 1 year. We were ensured that even if the subscription tenure expires, we will continue to get Free to Air channels, as its obligatory for Service providers as per Information & Broadcasting Deptt, Govt of India.
                        Later on after one year i shifted to my own residence at Flat No. 204, Bhagirathi 'A', Disha Nagari, Beed By Pass Road, Aurangabad 431005 and i had informed the same ( new address ) to Dishtv thru email.
                        To my utter surprise, not it has been more than a month, i am unable to watch all the Free to Air Channels as the same are Blocked by Dishtv. When i talked to the customer care Deptt(Ref Com no[protected], i was told by the Customer Care Representative, that i will have renew my package, and since i have not renewed my connection therefore my Set top Box Has been deactivated.
                        The most important thing to be notice is that whatever information Dishtv is providing in their Information Menu is totally incorrect. (For ex. if you want to pay your subscription charges via ITZ cash card they have provided information which is totally incorrect.) When I talked to them regarding this, they said that the software has to be upgraded, for that you have to keep your TV & STB on for 24 hours, etc. etc. but the software was never upgraded.
                        Is it just to Deactivate a subscribers services without intimation??Does Dish TV have a policy and rules other than what recommended by Ministry of Broadcasting, Govt of India and TRAI.
                        Request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful as per Laws and norms set by the Governement.

                        You should truely protest against this people. Dishtv is still thinking that they are having monopoly in the market. But now there are many options in the market. Here at Ahmedabad we have formed a group and we strictly oppose against Dishtv. We try our level best and avoid our friends and relatives fro buying Dishtv, just due to the same problem.

                        All the best to you... just go on and tech them a good lesson.

                          We have Dish T.V. connection against V.C. No. [protected]-1 at address, Hardeep Singh, A1st/ 39, Madan Gir, New delhi - 110062. Our Dish T.V. is not providing services since last thursday, 31/07/08. Not a single channel is working. I have been registerring complaints to local care centre through telephone for the last 6-7 days. Every time the customer care person says that they will contact with in 48 hours. But they have never come to us till date. Also they do not provide any Complaint Number for the calls made to them. We are sorry to say that Dish T.V. is really a very bad service provider. The customer care persons are damn care about the customers making complaints to them. It is so disgusting that we are paying Dish T.V. to avail entertainment, but there is nothing. we have spent lot of money on phone also but didn't get any response. If this problem will not resolve at the earliest then i have to mail this to subhas chandra(zee busness group). Please send your executive as soon as possible otherwise we will terminate the contract with you.

                            V.C.NO.[protected]- PURCHASED DISH TV CONNECTION THROUGH ONIDA TV DEALER FROM DISHTV AUTHORISHED DIs HTRIBUTOR M/s.PREM AGENCIES, VELLORE, T.N. ON 23/05/08 at the cost of Rs.3190/=. I am unable to watch other than free channel (particularly interested to watch SUN tv group channel).As per advice from customer care, I have asked the distributor to get it reactivated as eligible.So far, I have not get my set up box reactivated. kindly look into this matter and advise my dishtributor in this regard. Better gift dishtv india to your biggest enemy. This will be the grestest revenge you can think of enjoying. Dont' hope anything from them. I have been contacting them for 4 months without any response. Today, I e-mailed to them for new connection. Within minutes there was message on my mobile. After 2-3 hours some Ms Nidhi from Noida office talked to me but when I told her that I'm existing customer, she coooling disconnected. I have evidence on my mobile. So dear, we have done charity, let dishtv india bosses eat on our money, as they do not have any self respect

Dish tv always in bad singnals when their is something changes in the weather condition. when we have in a good mood to watch an old movie on classic and all it become not signal found..so what is this? is it the santushti given by shahrukh khan or dish tv..who is responsible for this loss that we bought dish tv. for Rs 3500 with six months subscription..bull

                              With great dissapointment I am writing this mail against the above mentioned complaint docket no 20753696. I had purchased Dish TV from E-Zone on 29th December 2008 and informed them that I will get this installed once I shift to my new flat probably in February. They confirmed that there is no issue in that and I can get this installed in 3 months time from date of purchase and I only need to inform the customer care.

                              Accordingly on 9th Feb around 11 AM, I requested your customer care and got the mentioned complaint docket with a confirmation that within 48 hours I will receive call from service technician and then installation. Since then almost every day I have been calling to customer care but never got any positive response. I never expected that your service is so pathetic that customer has to chase day in and out just for installation. I have been promised by several customer care executives (Rajni, Pooja, Pankaj, Ramesh, Sandip ...etc etc) but all in vain.

                              In fact, I was also given the number of your nodal incharge Mr Anandiya Ghosh but it seems guy is too busy to even pick up the call. then I was given the number of your jadabpur zone office no and no of Mr Vipin chauhan but result the same. One number is temp out of order and second always out of range. These guys are leaving no stone unturned to rue your business and bring all bad name to your organization.

                              For a job of may be 2 hrs if it takes 10 days even then no sign of complitetion, I dont know what do you call such business and service. I think I have done a great mistake by purchasing Dish TV, should have gone for Tata Sky or Airtel.

                              Pls take action on this and save your customers from this mental agony and injustice.

                                I had taken the connection in Noida.VC no [protected]
                                I informed cusomer care that I am shifting to Indirapuram on May 1.2008 & want it to be shifted, i was told that i remove the dish & take with me & contact mr Pandey on [protected].
                                which I did.
                                1. I had made several requests & it was installed on June 11, 2008.
                                2.I was billed for unused period.
                                3. From Day one after reinstallation i was not getting few channels & other jumbled up I called Mr Pandey & he promised it is being corrected but no action.
                                4, I recd SMS that my subscription expires on July 21, but disconnected prior to that.
                                5. I charged the coupon of Rs 300 yesterday July 21, 2008only as i felt that if i pay for one year & get this service why stay with dish.
                                6.Please credit y account for unused period & arrange proper reception or say me good buy so that i shift to other service provider.
                                7. I never recd free movies i was promised when I took the connection.
                                8 if correction not made by today i will changemy service provider in a day.

                                I am a DISHTV subscriber & my VC NO. is - [protected].

                                It seems i have taken a horrible wrong decision in buying DishTv..

                                I have two Problems...

                                1. I had purchased this around three years back, at that time i was told if i stop paying my subscription i will not receive pay channels & will get free to air channels & whenever in future i wish to restart i would have to pay Rs.100 as re starting fees, after a year i stopped paying but at the time of restarting they showed me an outstanding balance of Rs.470, when i enquired about it they told that we had downgraded your package for three months and charged for that ( not by my permission) ...I was befooled at that time ...i decided to pay that sum & get rid of that & restarted my dish again by paying Rs.262. ( in addition with outstanding Rs.470 Total Rs.732).

                                2. It started & worked alright (if i leave the problems of channels, increase of pricesetc.) but this month when i paid my subscription on time they showed me an outstanding balance again of Rs. 6 Now that is intolerable. when i mailed them for this they said that this is their COMPANY POLICY TO CHARGE ON A DAY BY DAY BASIS . I COMPLETELY DONT'T KNOW WHAT THEY WANT...

                                We are a Dish TV customer since 1st March 2006 and had purchased Dish TV from Trilok Enterprises, Mulund (East) from Mr. Vijay. Our VC number is [protected].

                                Till November 2006 the transmission was OK except sometimes during the rainy season. We have several times intimated this problem to Dish TV service centre. But no action was taken by them so far After this we had very bad transmission with only few channels available in spite of paying the money for entire package till now. The last E-mail sent to Dish TV service centre at Noida was on 13 October 2008. The reply E-mail dated 23 September 2008 was that waiver will be give after completing the problem.

                                After reply from service and subsequent intimation to service franchise “ICON TECHNOLOGY” at Bhandup, Mumbai; the Service Engineer has attended our complaint. After the diagnosis, as per his wisdom, first he told us that the LNB needs to be replaced for good transmission. The charge estimated for the same was Rs 170/- (Service charges) + Rs 270/- (Cost of LNB) which amounted to Rs 440/- . We agreed hoping that the problem would be solved.

                                However after changing the LNB, There was not much change in the quality of transmission. “Signal Not Found” message was coming for many of the channels. For this, he further suggested to change the Dish because it was rusted. However Dish TV marketing brochure says that the dish is rust-free. This point should be noted.

                                But even then we agreed to go for the replacement of the dish for an additional charge of Rs 480/- + installation charges Rs. 225/-. Even this was agreed by us with the hope of improvement in transmission. But even after changing the Dish along with LNB, there was no improvement at all. Service Engineer further suggested that entire wiring from the dish up till our set top box needs to be changed and charges for that came to Rs 384/-(32 meters at the cost of Rs 12 per meter). We even agreed to this with a last hope of improvement in quality of transmission. With all these modifications the total cost has escalated to Rs 1359/-

                                On 22nd October 2008, with all these modifications, the transmission had definitely improved. But the very next day, i.e., on 23rd October 2008, when we switched on the TV, we could see only a blue screen on TV. We immediately informed the Service Center. The Service Engineer has attended to the problem and said that there is a problem with the set top box and he has taken it for repairing and informed that after 6 days it will be brought back to my residence only after we pay for the repair charges. We feel that the set top box has gave problem because the service engineer has taken several time this Set Top Box to roof top on 6th floor for signal tracking exercise. I don’t agree that voltage fluctuation could be the reason as I am using a voltage stabilizer. We are not to be held responsible for this as we have taken all necessary and proper care of the maintenance of the set top box. Also in spite of request for a stand by set top box, the service centre had not provided a standby Set Top Box the duration in which the faulty set top box was taken for repair(6 days).

                                All these replacement and wiring have brought the cost to such an extent that with this cost we could have gone for a new connection from either TATA Sky/BIG TV/AIRTEL along with 12 months free transmission.
                                The Dish TV management with reference to their mail dated 23 September 2008, promised to give waiver of subscription for the duration of the transmission problem (loss transmission of 50% Channels we have suffered from November 2006 till this date).

                                My complaint against Dish TV Company is:

                                1. My renewal of subscription with Dish TV is ending on[protected], where as the transmission from Dish TV was totally cutoff since[protected]. The dish TV should refund the last quarterly subscription paid to them (Rs.786/-).
                                2. Dish TV should refund the amount paid to the service centre Rs.1359/- towards improvement in quality of transmission, which they have failed.
                                Dear DISH TV,

                                On 7th June I recharge my DIS TV through SMS to 57575.

                                I put my VC No-[protected] in place of VC No-[protected].

                                Massage receive against this SMS is : Transaction Success fully done for order[protected], PMGW[protected], S[protected].



                                While channel not appear in my TV then I correct MY VC no and re send the SMS then massage receive against this –you have enterd invalide account no or password.

                                I contact in customer care but they cant abele to resolve the problem.

                                I contact to my nearest DIS TV dealer they show me that value of card is used and I cant do any thing.



                                Kindly resolve my problem.

                                they are really cheats of highest order...must have sold their family members for money as well...might have done fraud there as well

                                    Dish TV / Set Top Box — Dish TV Set Top Box

                                    I had taken a new Dish TV Connection. Within 1 1/2 month, the Set Top Box (STB) was not functioning. On contacting customer service, they recommended to hand over the STB to the dealer. They did not replace with new STB, although they were suppose to replace a new STB within 48 hours. When handing over the STB, dealer informed us that they service it free, but customer to pay for the components. On making another conmplaint to Dish TV, we were told, we need not pay anything & we are eligible to get back the rectified STB within 48 hours or a new STb inlieu of the same. Now after more than 25 days, after rigorous follow-ups / emails, they are forcing us to collect the rectified STB which we are not interested. In view of the severe in convenience & mental agony we went through, we wanted refund. Dish TV said we can get only Rs400/- & later they said no refund.
                                    I have a set of emails sent by Dish TV customer service which are inconsistent & full of crap reply. How do I get my refund & how do levy penalty on Dish TV.....

                                    Dish TV — set up box replacement

                                    I, Dr. Nayan Patel, Have bought Dish TV connection on 11/03/2011 for World cup matches. But After 5-6 days (18/03/2011) connection was displayed message no signal / reinstall . I have called to customer care for complaints for more than 10 times. once technician arrived & told me to replaced set up box. I have given STB to replace but still today after 20 days there is no replacement. Now i want to return whole connection back & also complaint the same in consumer forum that this type of company must be closed.

                                      We have been using the Dish TV services for over a year and the half. For the last 2 weeks our Set top box has been showing the error message '402.Check VC Card'. We immediately called the Dish Care and they told us the procedure to reinstall the card for cleaning. Inspite of doing that the VC card was not functioning. The Customer Care executive then listed to us the names of 3-4 dealers where we need to take the VC card & set top box to have the same checked for any problems. I took the problem to a AEROLINE ELECTRONICS in Hauz Khas who are authorised Dealers and they refused to help. They put me across to a Mr. Neeraj from DishTV who promised that a replacement VC card will be sent the very next day. We waited for 3 days, constantly trying to get in touch with Mr. Neeraj again and he would not pick up our calls.

                                      We again got back to the Dish Care who gave us the number of a Mr. Simos of Dish, who inspite of several calls finally decided to send someone after a couple of days. When no one turned up, we again spoke to him and he promised to send someone the next day. After waiting for over 2 weeks and making several calls to the Dish Care and to Mr. Neeraj & Mr. Simos (both of whom are not taking my calls) our Set top box is still not functioning.

                                      I would like to know if I have a case agianst them to go tothe Consumer court and challeneg thier lack of proper backend support. If I can also get telephone numbers of the senior management would also help to bring this to thier attention.

                                      had a lodged a complaint stating my channels like SunTV, Surya TV, Chutti TV, Kiran TV, Sun, Music, Sun News etc are not comming. The first complaint i lodged on the 28th of Nov 2008 against complaint number 18041488. They said they are refreshing my package and i would get all channel within 4 to 24 hrs. Then on 30th again i called and informed that my channels are not working. They said they are fowarding the complaint to Technical Department. again the channel would come in 4 to 24 hrs. We are on the 2nd and till date my channel are not working. It only says that the i need to subscribe for these channel.

                                      Can anyone tell me why am i paying for Dishtv when all the channels required by me are not comming.
