DISH T.V. IS THIRD CLASS, POOREST SERVICE, THEY CHEAT THE CUSTOMERS

I regret to say that, I am facing the Setup Box problem from the last 3 months.

vc no. 01504743097 top box not working for 5 months

Dishtv set top box nt working since 5 months, several complaints have beeen logged at call centre, customer care email id and also to local pune office.
As soon as the set top box is switched on it shown error message as SIGNAL NOT FOUND FOR 20 MINUTES THAN IT SHOWS CHECK YOUR SMART CARD.

Very bad service

Following is the information I would like to share, so that you can think before using Dish TV service

Issues that I faced so far:

1. Customer care guys doesn’t know the
information clearly. Always misleading. Subsequently this creates hell lot of problems

2. Always they say, it takes 4 - 24 hrs to resolve a complaint. and that never happens even after 24 hrs. If we ask the status...

barring of broadcasting free channels& not activated suntv package so for

my vc no is [protected], i have paid Rs 300/= as renewal cum sun tv package on April 3rd, 2008 ..till date sun tv package has not been activated though several reminders over tollfree no.. i paid renewal for 3 months-apr to june2008. in what circumstances they have disconnected without prior notice for free channels..kindly look into the matter very seriously, other wise i am forced to move action thro legal.....

No Interest in existing Customers

By far, I feel Dish TV is the worst DTH company in the world.They are very much worried of new channels like 9X, NDTV Imagine, Neo Sports that they may compete with their own channels, namely Zee Next, Zee Sports. Even Tata Sky is close with Star Network but they still added these channels at the launch of these channels. Harashment in providing connectivity

The Dish Tv has installed the set on 19/05/2008 (almost after 305 months of purchase), but till date they have not activated the services. I have paid the amount required on 19th itself. I have called them for more than 15 times at the numbers 60013474, 65342255 and 65342266. channels not activated after payment for four days till now

I have paid a monthly subscription of rs 300 on Tuesday 27th may 2008 at the local dish TV dealer and have conformed that he has submitted my money to dish TV. I have called several times to the customer care, they gave me complain reference no. two days ago and every time i call them they say that they will activate the channels within 24 to 48 hrs ...
its 30th may, I am waiting but channels are not activated yet.

Non transmission of free channels which are mandatory as per the norms of government of India!

I have taken the Dish TV DTH connection in around Aug-07 and still under warranty. I am facing few problems since last one month -
1) No Dish TV programs on my television set
2) No Dish TV start-up screen for a long time (about 1/2 hour) on starting my TV & set top box set.

worst i have ever experienced.
I bought the setup box and got it installed. Well once it is about
paying 3000 roupies, everybody is here and everybody answers and
everybody speaks correct english.

Free to Air channels(FTA) -BLOCKED

Hi,
This is to bring to your kind notice that i had taken a subscrition of Dish TV some 3 years back for my Residence at House No-10, Block B, sec-10, Vasundhra, Ghaziabad, through Prince Enterprise, Ghaziabad, Dealer Id: 3850 by paying a sunbscription fee of Aprox Rs 4000/- for a service of 1 year.

Desinal of FTA channels updating software on STB

Dish TV has automatically updated the software on my STB and blocked all the FTA channels. In the updated software I am not allowed to change the satellite not add TP frequencies. Basically I want to use DD Direct+ free service pointing it to INSAT-4B instead of DistTV NNS6. This I was able configure in my STB when I bought it.
