Sir,
I am having three connections with so called esteemed Dish Tv.My name is Dr Anil Thakur with following VC numbers

That I have paid Rs 12000/ By ten ITZ card with denomination of 700/ recaghrage offer and one with 5000/ . But since after paying life has become a hell. Despite my clear cut descriptipn od channels on each VCs daily may channels are downgraded as per choice od dsuhtv officials without any notification to me anytime. YYesterday, I also talked to supervisor whose name I cnat recollect from my number [protected] and he promised me to call ataround 10 pm But he ditched. Every time your official give different opinions. Your such services shold ban your licenese from INDIA and should made getput for you idiotic, ridiculous and shameless services.Kindly send me an reply by mail as why in last 4-5 days despite my repeated calls my channneals are twistin on fingers of Dishtv officials. Despite my payment of RS 12000/- my renewal date is of extremely short duration. I request you to please appoint dish officials only after due medical checkup to avoid such stupid mistakes which can be made only by people of idiotic IQ.
Please look into matter seriously and reply me in writing at my mail address as [protected]@sify.com or call me [protected] after 5pm as I am doctor by profession and may not be able to pick up phone before that.
One copy is forwarded to INFormation and Broadcasting ministry with recommendations that licenece of such careless company should be cancelled immediately .
My mail should be taken as letter under Right to information act and the required fees may be adjusted from my account.
Written format is also being sent to different media and IT ministry to get justice.

If the doctor Thakur is correct in saying, then DISHTV is at fault and enjoyed his hard earned money 💵.
This money earned by this way will lead to fall down 👇 of any company in business.

    dear sir,
    i musing dish tv since last 2 yrs and never had a problem.howvere since jan'09 i m facing problems with set top box.i hjave already notified this to dish tv.intially they send many enginners to repair the problem but none of them were able to solve the problem.finally on 17th feb dish tv kanpur franchise took my set top box for repair.since 17th feb it's almost more than 20 days but they have not returned my set top box.whenere i call them on thier phone no they are assuring me that my set top box will be returned in 1-2 days..today when i called them they are saying they r not able to identify the problem and they will return my set top box without repairing.i m shocked to see this kind of response from a reputed listed company like dish tv.when i called dish tv customer care they always gave me a refernece number but none of the officials ever called me regaring my problem..
    i just want to know the procedure to go to consumer court.as i m eally fed up to dish tv services..they r just harasshing me.

      I had paid Rs123 to Dish Tv for recharge through net banking from my ICICI account on 8th Jan 2010 vide transaction ID [protected]. But neither the amount has been paid to DISH TV nor has been credited back to my account so far.

        Surprisingly only Recharge your account link from the dish tv web site is not working,
        The charging from the toll free no. ask min. 200 Rs.
        All this happened at the end of the recharge date.
        Toll free no. are always busy.

        my VC No. is [protected]. i also tried the free recharge option with platinum and the recharge form is not forwareded forward. saying my pass ward is invalid. where as i operated my last trasanction with that password and i have not at all changed it. I think it only time buying tacticks from different vendors. If it is so I shall slide to some other whose online services are good.
        I am also trying to recharge but the link does not work.
        On dated 17-02-09 I recharegd my DISHTV subscription for Rs 700/- (SBI Net Banking-CCA[protected]IG[protected] against FREE RECHARGE SCHEME. I chose three ALA CARTE packages under this scheme. I received an SMS that my next subscription is due on 11-05-09. But on dated 28-04-09 I got a message on my TV screen that my subscription is due on 01-05-09.

        I want to know how & why this has happened?
        For last 2 days I am trying to recharge my DISHTV subscription under FREE RECHARGE SCHEME but I am not getting the proper link to make my payment through SBI Net Banking.

        Dish tv online recharge is very complex, the option for payment itzb2c, itz b2b is confusing. there is only ZRZR free card option available. where to go for ZRZR card recharge?its should simple like other dth online recharge. give subscriber's id no. and card denomination the account get recharged. but dish tv has very complex way of online recharge.

          First of all i would like to say that, i have never seen so irresponsible behavior from the service industry. My name is shadab. I got my dish tv in february 2009 . My VC no. is [protected]. I have my first recharge date on 24 May 2009. but i dont have any way to recahrge my connection. i recieve (2 to 3) sms everyday from these guys from where i can get the rechrge coupons although that vendor doesn't have any recharge coupons. Their site doesn't work and their customer care doesn't work, when it rains there connection doesn't work, also i got to know that these people have started taking late fees from customer who dont pay on time .I am seriously regretting taking this connection up. Zee has surely made a bad reputation for the global Dish Tv franchise. Please guys instead of paying crores of rupees to celebrities put some fund for services ... you guys need it badly.

              Dear Sir/Madam

              I Munish Kumar Bajaj S/o Lt Shri S.K.Bajaj R/o B-37/ IInd Floor, Ashoka Enclave –II Sector -37, Faridabad, Haryana is regular customer of Dish TV since last 01 year. I have paid twice online Rs 1950/- (Rs One thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Only ) on date 15/10/2008 thru ICICI Bank credit card by VC number and another by Mobile No for six months (that excludes bonus of Rs 200/- as per your scheme prevalent at that time).

              On telephone the company confirm the receipt of only one payment and advised that I can reverse the second payment . As advised I instructed my Bank to reverse the second payment that is credited in my bank account on 28/10/2008.

              On 03rd January 2009 my connection is disconnected without any intimation .As explained by your Company that online payment is reversed on 03/01/2009 hence connection is disconnected.

              On telephonic discussion and various written and verbal complain it is discovered that my payment is credited to VC no [protected] instead of my VC no [protected] due to technical or clerical error of the Company.

              The Company has admitted the error on their part and credited my account on 12th January 2009 by Rs 1088/- instead of Rs 1950 as paid by me on 15/10/2008.

              I have been without connection till 10days without any fault of mine.I request you to:
              1) Credit my account by Rs 662 /-(Rs Six Hundred sixty two only ) net difference
              2) Give 10 days credit / Extension of connection for recharge
              3) Give the bonus of Rs 200/- as per scheme
              I request you to kindly look into the matter seriously and do the needful or otherwise I will be forced to take legal course of action.

                I am a technician i have got installed many DTH connections of all DTH services available in INDIA out of all i found DISHTV to be the worst service provider it is not user frendly and its www.dishtv.in site is always down with one or the other problems, telephone contact numbers are not free but there is extra charge for calling on the number 1860xxxxxxx plat form, they promot sms as it is charged Rs.3/- per SMS to the sender and i think DISHTV must be getting some revenew from there also. I suggest to the people of my contry not to go for DHISHTV and save your self from all the axiety. i hope i will not be made to suffer for putting my view here!!!

                  am an existing subscriber of DISHTV INDIA. My VC No. is [protected]. Since last 3 days I am trying hard to renew my subscription on-line through Credit Card. Each time, the required page for giving Bank & Credit Card details does not open and as a result, I can not pay my renewal. Interestingly, the dish TV customer support team is not aware of the issue and are rude and crude while addressing customers

                  Over a period I am witnessing a deterioration in the service. The reception quality is very poor. Some of the channels just can not be received. You dial a number there is no effect. Out of disgust I just want to change the service provider.

                      I have a connection with DISHTV.

                      There are 2 concerns:-

                      1. I pay monthly for my Maxi package Rs300/-.
                      But still not getting all channels which should have come.
                      Already complaint but nobody responding from them.

                      2. I was trying to recharge using internet and website not working.When I called them, they didnt respond properly and said that website working and if i dont pay in time than they will charge extra Rs20 as fine.

                              Infinity Sales Group, LLC - performs installations for Dish Network
                              I was a victim of infinity group yesterday and I was so mad I called Dish Network directly to complain. Guess what? After being transferred 3 times I spoke to someone who identified herself as Executive account manager and she gave me a $100 credit on my account for the gas card I never received (I should have send the card was $200 (lol)). If enough of you call and hold Dish network accountable and they spend enough money, they will stop doing business with low-lifes like Infinity group and put them out of business for good!!!


                              I also filed a complaint online with the Better Business Bureau.

                              Hi, My Dish TV connection was disconnected wrongly on 7th October, 09. I was given the reason that my subscription was not renewed by 7th October. This is wrong as the email sent by Dish TV in August clearly stated 17th October as the renewal date, based on which I sent the renewal cheque on 7th Oct. I am now being told that I have to pay rs. 350 to resume disconnected service even though the fault is of Dish TV for sending me a wrong renewal date. Pls help.

                              Dish TV — Distracting User with wrong messages

                              Hi,

                              I am using Dish TV for the past 9 months and my registered mobile number is + 91 [protected] and yesterday while I was watching star cricket there was a message displayed on top of my TV screen "To Continue watching ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 send an SMS with the following contect MOD 50722 to 57575 and the message was displayed continously and I sent the SMS and the message is no longer displayed and after that I received an SMS saying I can watch Movie on channel number 250 and Amount 250 was deducted from my account.

                              It was a completely irrelevant message to divert the user and charge additional amount and the customer care says I cannot get the money back and they never displayed any message.

                              I sincerely request not to distract,divert or cheat users by wrong messages.

                              And I have not watched the movie.I need my amount to be credited back to my account.

                                Error code 102 (Viewing card deactivated) is shown momentarily and then error code 301.

                                  Dear Sir/ Madam

                                  I renewed my DISHTV Maxipack VCC [protected], on 22nd January for three months and the amount of Rs 1010 credited in favour of ASC ENTERPRISES LTD NOI IN on 24.01.2009. I have evidence that this online payment made was on my VCC no. [protected].

                                  But DISHTV instead of activating my DISH Maxipack, in one of their email on February 5 state “We would like to inform you that the payment of Rs1010 has been transferred to another VC”.
                                  On 14th February wrote that “We would also like to convey that as per our records for the mentioned VC [protected] the renewal due date was 27th Jan. '09 and outstanding amount of Rs. 50/- is due.”

                                  When I had renewed in time on 24th, how this Rs 50 is due? Also the DISHTV state that my subscription is for Topper TV. I do not know what is TOPPERTV. Their website has no information on this account.

                                  Also, when I do not have the basic DISHTV active how can they credit this to another VC? If they had transferred my “payment to another VC”. to which VC they have transferred this amount of Rs 1010? Is it not blatant violation of consumer rights?

                                  Also the DISHTV website through which I made the online payment is for the VCC [protected] with username and password meant for this VCC.

                                  In spite of my renewal on time, the DISHTV has neither activated my MAXIPACK under VCC [protected] nor returned my payment of Rs. 1010.

                                  Kindly help me in counteracting such unfair practices of DISHTV.

                                    I had discontinued Dishtv with effect from 7th November 2008 (refer my VC No. [protected]). Since then I have been contacting their customer complaints department on e mails, their toll free telephone no., the distributor from whom I purchased the dishtv (M/s Jyoti Electricals, Kalyan, ) their authorised dealer, their system vice president Mr. Ramesh Chandran, Their on line complaint form, etc.

                                    All are either not responding and finally after months of follow up, their customer complaints department informed me by e mail that the deposit amount will refunded by their authorised dealer, so contact them.

                                    The authorised dealer refers matter to their systems vice president who says he does not know that any such refund is made and he will have to check up with the customer service officer who sent the e mail.

                                    It is just shunting the customer.

                                    I am totally disappointed by this company's customer service department's dealing with their customers.

                                      Dear Dish TV Customer Care,

                                      Kindly persue my earlier complaints/ mails/ calls. Had it not been
                                      that finally the reception was clear I would have switched to Tata Sky
                                      or any other DTH service by now.

                                      This is my last request to you, please compensate me for the time
                                      period of almost three months from the date of installation of your
                                      DTH when your services were discontinued/ disturbed/ disruptive or
                                      loose another valuable customer forever.

                                      I had called customer care recently and on both the calls the call was
                                      disconnected. The first time the rep asked me to hold and the line
                                      went dead, the second time the rep promised a call back (which I never
                                      received) and also asked me to hold (I waited for 20 mins) and again
                                      the line went dead.

                                      The services which I received from dish TV were not only as per our
                                      contract or as per what you claim but now you also do not stand by
                                      what you said. A few months ago when I had spoken to one of your
                                      supervisor's and had requested the refund of my money because of the
                                      horrible experince which I was facing with the reception, he told me
                                      that it would not be possible for dish TV to do that but we would
                                      compensate for the poor quality/ no reception which you received. I
                                      had planned to add another set top box for other part of house but
                                      right now forget about the set top box (guess what) I am at the verge
                                      of quitting Dish TV and please do not send any SMS for recharge I know
                                      my suscription has been expired and I would only recharge it if I get
                                      my compensation.

                                      I have also attached the previous emails which have the details of the
                                      problem which I was facing.

                                      If this is how you work, believe me there were big companies in the
                                      past gathering dust and are nowwhere. I think there is no need to
                                      write a email to your brand ambassador (Shahruk Khan) or 'Jaago gharak
                                      jaago' for such a small thing.

                                      Hope we get a positive response from your end.

                                      Thank you for rectifying the issue which I was facing, however it worked
                                      only for a few months. *Now we are experiencing the same issue for the last
                                      one month. Most of the channels are not clear and the signal strength has
                                      gone low.* I thought it could be because of the bad weather but when I found
                                      that my neighbors were not have any issues with their reception, I thought

                                      This is my forth or
                                      fifth complaint regarding the channels not being clear (especially at
                                      night). The signal strength of most of the channels is 30% to 35%.







                                      The technicians who come to attend the complaint either don't know
                                      what they are doing or they just visit to show that the complained was
                                      attended. This has being going on ever since the Dish was installed.
                                      Do you people really care about your customers? I feel like I have
                                      been cheated. I have paid for one year in advance, you people know
                                      this customer does not have any other option but to stick with Dish
                                      TV.







                                      The last Technician who came aligned the dish and checked the set top
                                      box and told it is a problem with these new set top boxes also told me
                                      not to call the call center for the next two days as we will submit
                                      the report and something would be done at the other end (some software
                                      upgrade) and the issue would be resolved from your end. We hardly get
                                      time to watch TV and when ever we do it is not clear. It is very
                                      disgusting.







                                      If I call your call center they would just do the regular power cycle
                                      of the Set box and the TV and lodge a complaint.







                                      The poor customer does not have any other option they are at your
                                      mercy. The problem should be resolved; Change the Set Top Box if that
                                      is required. Otherwise as my last option I will have to move to the
                                      consumer court.







                                      I am glad that I advised my sister to get a TATA SKY and she is not
                                      facing any issues what so ever till now.

                                        some of the channels like dd/colours etc are not available at all. some channels are blurred (cnbc, zeetv etc.). when service centre is approached for correction, they ask for the payment of mon. Rs.170/-. my vc no. is [protected].

                                        August 14, 2011 - I made payment of 570 on August 14, 2011 - As per your Dish TV offer pay for 2 months get one month upgraded plan with some add on channels.

                                        I got the upgraded Chanel offer from Dish TV for the above payments.

                                        August 16, 2011 - I made one more payment of 570 on August 16, 2011

                                        I did not get any offers on this payment

                                        Dish TV - Says - Only one time offer given to the payments.

                                        This is not mentioned anywhere in the policy document that only one time offer will be given. Even and they don't even have a policy document for this one. This Offer was closed on September 2. Since the payment was done well before I should be entitle for the offer.

                                        After speaking lot to the customer people nothing helped. Not I am being fooled and I have unnecessary made the payments for 4 months and got offer for only one month.

                                        Concern - Who will understand this, being a Lay man no one will understand the policies clear cut - I paid you extra on the same month That was my mistake.
                                        I belive it is good that not to do any prepayments as I was planning to make payments for one year now my take is people who make paymets for one year are getting fooled as they miss on the new offers

                                        As I am using the Gold saver for 285/ - I have made the payments till Dec 11, 2011. Now Dish TV is offeing a new WORD PACK which is cheaper and having more channels so the existing customer are missing and getting fooled on doing the prepayments.
