I have paid the subscription of Rs. 1710/- for next 6 months to the authorised dealer of Dishtv M/s AUDIO VISUAL ENTERTAINMENT AT GURGAON (Haryana) vide cash receipt No. 3852 dated 30.05.2008 but inspite of advance payment, my dishtv had been downgraded from 13.07.08. The company is totally unable to claim the aforesaid amount from the dealer. I am constently reminding to the customer care of the company since 10.06.08 but no action is taken against the dealer who authorised to collect the money from customers on behalf of the company. Kindly convey my grivences to the owner of the company advising him to change the name of customer care to customer harassement centre so that no body can make any call to them. If possible, please give me the Email address of the owner/director of the dishtv so that i may bring to his kind notice the unfair game played with the customers

    Dish TV — sudden withdrawal of service

    I had in the month of aug renewed the subscription for my dish tv DTH and was getting a few channels which suddenly went off air and on checking I was told that I have to pay an extra amount of Rs.25.00 to vie the channels.
    It is very surprising as i was not even informed during the time of renewal that the same may be added in the renewal as I was renewing the maxi plan and that included all the channels.
    this is downright robbery.
    Sir ihave bsnl post paid connection tarrif 525 from 6 yrs since from two month i am getting detail invoice last month i have got isd charges for calling to customer call centre [protected] tough it is free service i got notice to offcial they made credit my account but this time again igot isd call rate for calling to customer care i mean to say being biggest telephone co in world doing this type thing i came to know because i have detial billing system what about those who are not having detail bill system

    i want to informed you that i have purchase a P1i handset from patna sony ericsson service centre dated:24.05.2008. After some time this is creating problems but sony ericsson service centre purly cure it. I am very glad. but when i submit the handset at sony service centre dated:18.07.2009 my eye opened. The service centre deposit the handset and tell me that they contact me after 2 or 3days. But there is no phone receive from sony ericsson service centre. After one week i have try to cantact sony service centr, Varanasi with phone. but there is no response from sony service centre. I have shocked. After try try and try several days there is no response i am feeling helpless and contact sony ericsson customer care at Delhi. But there is no response from sony service centre, Varanasi. They said that my handset cannnot repair. it is bring to your information after 1.5 month sony service centre, Varanasi informed me that my phone cannot repair. it is shocking for me. what is this if my handset could not repairable then return it within one or two week. I am vey sorrow from sony service centre. Pl. suggest me what can i do? MY HANDSET P1i IMEI no.[protected] and compalint id of sony service centre varanasi is -18715 dated:-18.07.2009.

      I have purchased a dish tv yesterday from AALO ELECTRONICS, Mission Road, Badarpur, Dist. Karimganj PIN - 788806 having Dealer ID 68246.
      But till now it is not activated. It only remains 1-2 seconds and then shows to contact with service centre.
      Please take a necessary action for a fruitful result.

        DISH TV- FREE TO AIR CHANNELS BLOCKED

        Hi,
        This is to bring to your kind notice that i had taken a subscrition of Dish TV some 3-4 years ago by paying a subscription fee of Aprox Rs 5000/- for a service of 1 year.

        At the time of subscription, we were ensured that even if the subscription tenure expires, we will continue to get Free to Air channels, as its obligatory for Service providers as per Information & Broadcasting Deptt, Govt of India.

        Now, the DISH TV is deacivating the set top box itself if I do not get my subscription renewed. Actually they should deactivate the PAID channels only.

        Is it just to Deactivate a subscribers services even after selling the SETTOP BOX with assurance of lifetime availability of FREE TO AIR CHANNELS ?
        Is this the policy and rules of Ministry of Broadcasting, Govt of India and TRAI.

        Request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful as per Laws and norms set by the Governement.

          We have taken DISH TV connection 1.5 months backand till that time I am
          facing problem of Signal not found. No person in Jalandahr pickus up the
          phone. We than lodged the complaint at[protected] vide complaint number
          12811064 and 13850629. Your representative from Jalandhar came and did the
          needful but the problem remained as it is. One day i asked my employee who
          is also using theDISH TV connection whether he is also facing the same
          problem, he said, no. Than i called a technician from market to check the
          problem, than he told me that the wire that has been used is duplicate and
          the problem will remain as it is until the original wire is used.Tommorow i lodged complaint at Delhi by using STD vide complaint number 13949725.Today your technician who has installed the DISH TV visited us and he admitted that the duplicate wire has been used for installing dish TV connection and he statrted to replace the same but I refused to replace the same and than i agained informed to your office vide complaint number no. 13940131 for the necessary action against the dealer who installed the connection. But no body from your company taken care of that Now I am going to inform newspaer DaniK Bhaskar to publich this in
          their newspaper along with photo of wire that such a reputed company is
          using duplicate wire for installation of its connections. I am also going to
          bring this thing to the notice of Tata Sky and all my known that never buy a DISH TV conection and i will also get my connection disconneted and opt for Tata Sky. Now I am not responisble for any bad name to DISH TV as i have informed u well in advance but no action taken by you.

          Not hopping for any reply just informing u about my action, so that u may not say that i did not gave time to you.

            Pls suggest the company not to send sms at wrong time.

              Our Dish TV VC no. [protected], We installed your connection in the month of
              March 08, Now we are totally fed up from your connection because of
              repeatedly problems in your connection in last 4 months and also your after
              sales service is very poor,
              IN last 15 days -
              we lodged one complaint on 18/06/2008 bearing complaint no. 13925457, that
              complaint was attended on 29/06/2008 after 3 followup calls.
              and now again no channel is coming since yesterday i.e. 1/07/08, complaint
              no. for yesterday problem is 14160558, no body contacted us till today 04/07/2008.
              if this is the quality of service you are providing, pls take your
              equipment back and refund our money.

                I am DishTV subscriber since May 2007 and I regret I did not opt for Tata Sky. I am saying this because the customer service you provide is third class (actually it is even below but there is no word to describe that).

                I land up into dish alignment problem almost every 15-20 days and some of the channels are 'gone' (this is another issue to which nobody has satisfactorily answered as yet). Thus I need to call up my dealer (who charges Rs. 150 for every visit). So this time instead of calling up my dealer to fix the problem I called up your customer service (and I committed a bigger mistake than opting for DishTV). Following list describes what I went thru:

                1. Most of the time the[protected] number is engaged (wonder why as it is a toll free number)
                2. If you get connected, you have to wait for a long time to speak to a customer representative. If you are lucky enough, somebody finally answers the call
                3. They say they will send a DishTV technician with 24-48 hrs. I believe in your terms 24-48 hrs are equal to 15 days. Nobody showed up till almost a week, so I called up customer care again (again faced issues 1 and 2 listed above). They said somebody will come 'tomorrow'. Again nobody showed up for the next week.
                4. I kept on getting calls from the local service centre in Pune (I am based in Pune); everytime asking if I have logded a complaint and if anybody showed up. I got 5-6 such calls.
                5. Finally after almost 3 weeks of frustration, the great day dawned and I was blessed to see a dishtv guy at my doorstep. He did some alignment and went away. I did NOT pay any kind of charges as my late fee.
                6. When the dishtv guy arrived, I again called up the service centre who sent this guy to verify but they were unaware of that guy and he himself had to talk to them and confirm that he had been sent by them. I don't know how you can manage such stuff.

                Now I know why you are giving set-top boxes for free. You have a very bad customer service, you know people will call you n-number of times as they will have n-number of issues, so you would make all the money thru service charges (which the customer should pay even though the service is not given as promised).

                You should think about these issues and try to address them especially when the stock price of Dishtv is continuously on the downfall.                 My current subscription will end early next year. I don't think I would renew it thereafter. I can get good money if I sell the dish and set top box to a 'kabaadi'.

                I have been using TV for the last 15 months. I regret my decision to opt for dish TV. Your kanpur office is useless, is the worst office run. They do not pick up the phone and even if they do they just don't bother about the customer's complain. Even after recharging the service it has been four days and there is no update on the channels.
                I wish I could tell everyone and especially Sharukh Khan to stop fooling people.

                  I purchased Dish TV from Pawan Electronics (authorized dealer of Dish TV) Sinhagad Road Pune- 411041 and experienced worst, pathetic ever service by any dealer or company like Zee. I regret I opted for Dish TV. My Dish TV is installed a week ago and not yet activated after continuous follow up with dealer. It's
                  useless customer care number I tried to call 1000 times but never got through.

                  DISH TV-useless service — no service at all

                  I had taken a connection in Jan'07 uI had taken ander VC no.[protected]-3but for the past 3months dish tv has been disconnected for no valid reason.We already had another connection at our place under VC no.[protected] but that too does not work as it has not been functional for more than six months.

                  We had taken a separate connection but after so many complaints since nov.we got to know its a child connection(we were not aware of this????).Anyhow the your useless customer care does not have any vague idea as to why our connection has been disconnected.The reason given is that there are some pending dues on the parent connection1200/- which was due in dec.15th (but our connection haad been disconnected in nov. only.And when the question is put across to your DUMB-CUSTOMER CARE as to what dues -some say-the amt. 1200/-was pending right from the time of connection,other exe. says-MOvie on Demand bill is 1200/- and others say renewal charges.
                  Now first of all no one is aware as to why the bill is being shown on parent connection and how would we know that some amt. is pending until and unless we receive an INVOICEfrom your end.
                  Now some exe. told kindly deposit 254/-for VC nos. and the connection would run normally after that. This thing was done on 11th Jan.08 but till date nothing has happened.We also had put in a request to separate our VC nos. so that one connection can atleast work.
                  BUT I REALLY FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR COMPANY WHO RUNS ON SUCH MISLOGIC WHERE NO ONEKNOWS WHAT IS TO BE DONE.

                  Dish TV — Useless Costumer care

                  I had called up customer care for re erecting the dish at my new house for 2 times, every time they are regitering the complaint, but there is no response locally, this issue running for last 15 days, since now i have no solid repsonse from the customer care, the beauty of all not even single person can speak english in there customer care.
                  Its my personal experience never ever go for DISH TV, it is really horrible, from instalation to the activation to receiption to customer service to billing to channels...every thing is very pathetic...if by mistake u get it...then try to rid out of it very soon...otherwise god will save you...WITH MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I RECOMMENED NOT TO GO FOR DISH TV EVEN IF IT PROVIDES IT IN FREE OF COST...coz we are looking for entertainment...but with DISH TV...we will get only severe headache...

                    i am a resident of 72 A, pratap vihar, kirari extension, nangloi, delhi 110041 and i am a subcriber to dish tv under cc no[protected] since september 2003. i have renewed my subcription in dec 2007 for a period of another one by remitting rs 3930 vide receipt no 171 at shri krishna enterprises B-10 essel house, lawrence road indl area new delhi 110035 on 29 dec 2007 and my next subcription is due only in jan 2008. on 12 april 2008 the screening of few channels discontinued including sonymax(when IPL matches were going on)with showing of a warning "301 signals not found". soon i made a complint to costomercare dishtv -ph no[protected] and i was allotted a complaint no 12544817 with a statement that the problem will solved within 24 to 48 hours. after giving ample time i repeated the complaint and were alloted com[plaint nos 12544817, 12558769, 1256941 and i repeated the process many time again and again. but to utter surprise no rectification party visited my premises till 2200 hrs on 09 may (after 27 days) . unfortunately the ower supply was disrupted during the time (2200 hrs) and by boorowing a chargeable torch from me the visiting party did some adjustments to the antina as well as set top box and checked the function using my inverter connection. as the time was around midnight the party was in a hurry to leave and told me to call them if there is any further problem. on 28 may the syster again started malfunctoning and a i made a comlaint again on on 28 may and was allotted the no 13490781 and subsequent complaints 13552122, 13574790, 13606038 and 14012435 after giving sufficient time to react but no rectidfication party has visited my plac till date. i am paying a monthly amount of Rs. 350 (maxi + sunnetwork) and for the last two months i could hardly enjoy any progaram ion full. as a sports loving individual i lost many important events like IPL, tri series bangladesh, eoro cup football, french open and also is losing ongoing wimbledon ad asia cup cricket . in these circumstances i request you intervene an make thigs rectified and also ask dishtv to compensate my losses. a severe action against the defauters also to be initiated.

                      (As registered with DISH TV since July 2007 - This complaint is still outstanding with them and no action has beenb taken yet).

                      I had taken a Dish TV connection in 2007. I took it for entertainment, little did I know that it would change into horror. I contacted the Dealer - Indian Electronics for a connection. He took the money and a copy of my license. This was taken as a ID proof for the SAP form. I was told that he would get the SAP form signed by me later and also give me the invoice, and operating instructions manual at a later date. The connection started and whilst everything was going fine, I never got the SAP form to be filled, or bill or instructions manual. I tried contacting the dealer but he never attended the calls. He is hardly available at his shop either. The dealer number is 1927 and I think his dealership with you has expired. But, he is still continuing to sell DISH TV. His address is : Indian Electronics, 10-8-74, Main Road, New Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam. PIN - 530026.

                      Eventually, I contacted Dish TV customer services- and they have provided me no customer service till date. I raised the complaint against the dealer but no action was taken till date. The VC is on somebody else's name and everytime I call - they refuse to speak to me as I cannot verify myself. Why do you all lack basic common sense that - I would not be able to verfy myself as it is fraud that has happened against me. You should be infact thanking me to bring this to your attention - and instead you do not even show basic coutesy or respect. It has been over six months now and everytime I call - I am just told that they are forwarding the complaint and somebody will contact me. But, till date no body has contacted me. THE HONORS FOR PROVIDING THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVIVE GOES TO DISH TV - I WANT YOUR COMPANY HEADS TO KNOW THIS. THIS IS MENTAL TORCHER THAT ONE HAS TO GO THROUGH WHILST SPEAKING TO YOU.

                      Even after all of this, I am asked to send an email - Why? I am asking for some very basic things. The VC should be on my name and my details - Is that too much to ask?                       Dish TV — Complaints never attended and solved

                      I have been having problems with my dishtv & settop box.I have been complaining regularly since 1st week of march.An engineer came on 14th but he was not able to understand the problem.he told us that there is nothing wrong and went away.I had written comments on the service sheet but no attention was paid to it.Then i started making complains again butevery time i call and say complaint not attended they say there is no complain registerd.Then finally I manage to register a complain on 17th may(Complain no[protected].It's been more than 3 Days and no response.Now the Customer Care is also not contactable.There are no other contact no's available to call.There is responsible authority in Dish TV who responds.They are just not bothered.It's impossible to contact them.Customer Care is useless.Dish TV is the poorest service provider.This is just an Intimation to whomsoever concerned that this matter shall be taken forward with the CONSUMER FORUM and DISH TV shall be made accountable for it.

                      Dish TV — reduced validity / non response

                      When I recharged my dish tv connection Smart card no[protected] with three multiroom connection on 4th october 08 I recieved a confirmation that my validity was till 17 july 09 . In April I recived a message that the validity has expired and the connections stopped working. I recharged the account again with Rs 3K .
                      I have been following up with dish tv customer care to explain me how the validity was reduced by 3 months . I have sent 11 mails till date and made more that 30 calls but no one is able to provide the details.
                      Whats more the call center keep disconnecting my calls after some time . Now my validity is over and even after writing that I would not recharge without the details , I have still not received the same

                      I was informed at the time of taking the connection that free to air channels would be available even after the recharge is over . Now even the free to air channels are not available and I am told that was no such condition

                      COMPLAINTS SERVICE AND WHO IS RUNNING THIS COMPANY
                      I have had my dish for one year and I have one year left one the contract and I can not believe the nonsense that I have encountered in the pass year. I have had numerous experiences with the service dept regarding having to re-program my box and controllers. The channels stick on stations and will not change at all when I push on the remote. Another problem is the blizzard storm when you turn on the tv.
                      In the first year I have aproximately 9-10 hours of phone time talking with the service techs. I have replaced 2 sets of controllers and the main box on the top of the tv itself. I am totally fed up with dish network company. The service tech was out two days ago and said the tv was fixed and left. Well 5 minutes later the tv changed to a spanish channel and will not change from that channel. I have tried to get copies of my service records and complaints and the company refuses to give me a copy and states they destroy them daily. My next step is contacting a lawyer and getting myself out of this contract because they do not provide the service they promise you when you sign on. At this time I would not recomend dish tv to anyone including my worst enemy. I highly recomend that anyone thinking about this company or one like it run as fast as you can and DO NOT get involved. I am so sorry I did...

                      Dish TV — Billing fraud

                      I have huge problems with my Dish TV account.

                      I had bought an yearly Titanium package in 2009 for which the validity date was Sep 12th, 2010. I later bought an yearly TV5 Monde package on 7th December 2009 which I should have been able to view till 7th December 2010.

                      On 13.09.2010, I recharged my titanium package but Dish TV stopped my TV5 channel as well. When I called to complain, I was told that since the base package was valid only till September, the add-on will also be disabled on the same date. Funny logic - it means that noone should order an yearly add-on except if you do it at the time of buying the base package. I got through to their accounts section and one Mr. Sagar Sharma accepted that there has been a billing error as he could clearly see that the yearly payment for TV5 came on 7th December and that he would get it corrected and I will be able to view the package.

                      I got the channel the next day - but they reduced the validity date of my titanium package from 04.09.2010 to May, 2010. I again called and complained and the supervisor Sanjeev Kumar told me that Dish TV is still not done and that that they would reinstate the renewal date of my Titanium package to September. I again got an SMS that renewal date of titanium has been set to June 2010. Now they have disabled my TV5 channel as well and my titanium package validity date has been reduced by 3 months.

                      So I am robbed of 2.5 months of TV5 and 3 months of my titanium pack.

                      Throughout my interactions, the dish tv customer care behaved unprofessionally and ignorantly. The call center agents like Bobby Nagpal etc. would give weird reasons that I have been viewing channels like UTV etc. which is why the validity date has been reduced. The call center is noisy. Every agent would promise that I would get a call back in 2 hours but nobody called back ever.

                      I am a very disappointed customer. This is daylight robbery by India's leading Dish provider and I wonder how many more could be suffering. But I have decided not to let go of them this time and will take a legal action if my complaints are not resolved.

                        Myself Shailendra Kumar Singh, had bought a dish TV set top box in 03-sep-2004 from one of Dish tv dealer named Vats'traders, MalGodam road, DalsingSarai, Bihar-848114, Mo.No.[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] but dealer didn't provided me the VC card and due to lack of information I didn't argued too. But since last month my TV started continually showing the message of –INSERT SMART CARD and so I contacted to the dealer and in response he provided me a VC card [protected] against the sum of 2000 Rs, but it was completely useless so I contacted him again and he provided me the next VC card [protected]-4. When I investigated I got to know that this new VC card was on the name of some Jayant Choudhary and unfortunately still I am unable to get channels on my TV set. Sir now when I talked to the dealer in this regard, he is rejecting to help anymore and I am not getting any help from your Customer Care department too. Sir, I am feeling really helpless, Sir, I hope you will help me out and assure me that it was a good move to buy your product and I can use it in future without any disturbance. I will be really thankful to you.

                        Dish TV — set box not working -no response from dealer

                        I purchased dish TV in July and two week back while upgrading set top box stopped working. I gave it to the dealer but no response even after one week. everyday i follow up with them and all the say they dont know. pathetic service.

                            We subscribed to Dish TV and the connection is not working even after 10 days of installation. Installation quatily is very poor and no one responds in customer care. They say that problem will be resolved within 24-48 hours but it seems it takes weeks to resolve it.
                            Dont ever subscribe to it you will regret. TATA sky is thousand times better.
                            They have lot of authority to local dealers and they just want to make money.
                            I bought it before one week it's came signalunavilable, now somebody erase the all channels but if i search the channel not coming, what's the proble in my dth

                            This is to inform you that I’m one of the premier customer of Dish TV having VC No.[protected]. I took the new connection of Dish TV in the month of Dec2007 but have been facing many problems since then. In my last 10 months experience I’ve faced one problem twice.

                            In the month of July 2008, I made payment for renewal the connection but struggled a lot to get the activation of renewed channels.

                            Again on 11th of October 2008, I made the payment online thru credit card for renewal the VC for next 3 months, but till today I’m VC has yet not re-charged.
                            For this I’ve been regularly calling customer care, writing complain thru Web based complaint form; I’ve been getting references for the same but I’m not getting positive result from Dish TV.

                            For your quick perusal I’m giving you some of the complaint references as under:

                            1) Recharged thru web by credit card for Rs.900/- on[protected], this is the reference

                            3) I called up many times to customer care on [protected], and I was assured that the same will be activated within 24hrs but, even I got reference no.16663915 for activation but so far no action has been taken by Dish TV


                            4) Again, I complained on 17th Oct thru Dish TV Website and I got the following ref

                            Your Enquiry / Complaint has been registered successfully with us
                            Your Enquiry Number is SRC-17/10/08-42889.
                            Kindly note the above for future reference

                            5) Then I got call from Dish TV on Friday[protected] saying that my payment has been made to another VC number, but I assured them that this could not be possible because I’ve got the above references on my Mobile no.[protected] which is registered with Dish TV with the VC No.[protected].

                            Sir/madam, as you can see the above communication between me and Dish TV, I’ve been chasing for one particular reason. I’ve made the payment but I’m getting no service from your side.

                            Now I’m totally fed up with the service of Dish TV, and I don’t want to continue any relationship with the Dish TV.
                            Kindly refund Rs.900/- for the above payment and make refund of Rs.2999 for Setup Box which I had paid at the time of new connection.

                              Sir,
                              I opted for DISH MAXI package by making a payment of Rs.350- thru net banking on 3rd June 2008. Till now I've not been able to see other than free to air channels. I have contacted customercare more than 5 times, still the matter is not resolved. They told me that they would send a technician within 48 hrs on.But no one came. Last time I spoke to a senior supervisor @ customer care on 18th june 2008 who assured me that they would send a technician but still now nobody came. It has been more than 22 days and still no result. I find it very interesting that a subsidary of reputed group like ZEE Ltd behaves such way.

                                for last 10 days I am getting 'no signal' from my dishtv. i have already called up the customer care 5 times and have been given 3 complaint numbers but so far no engineer has turned up.

                                they assure to get the problem fixed in 24-48 hours but it seems they actually mean 24-48 months or i wonder even that is so.

                                i want to ask the company whether they will refund the money for the days we are without the service. this is a serious matter and can be taken to consumer court. we are not getting the service after paying for it. the company is liable to either give us the service or pay for the damages.

                                their catch line "Thoda aur wish karo" should be changed to "thoda aur wait karo".

                                Dish TV — Not receiving

                                I am an existing subscriber of DISHTV INDIA. My VC No. is[protected]. Since last two weeks its deactivated. So you are requested to activate it immediately.

                                Dish TV — Dish TV reception not working for 10 days

                                My DishTV reception is not working since 8th Jun 2008. I lodged a complaint, Complaint No[protected] on 12th Jun with the Call Center and was promised that a technician will come within next 24-48 hours.
                                No technician visited us since then. I relodged complaints on 15th Jun[protected] and 17 Jun[protected].

                                I have even tried speaking to Team Leads (Shweta) and Managers (Ashish) at call center to see if they can pro actively follow up and my services get restored, but no progress has happened.

                                I would like to get in touch with people at Dish TV responsible for Bangalore/Karnataka Area to make them aware of plight that their customers have to go through. Can you please provide me the number/email-ids?

                                Please donot give me number/email-id of the call center, they are of no use.

                                Also, can you have someone address my complaint and get Dish TV services restored.

                                I have to agree with every complaint made above, the promptness in service is absent, at most times we dont know who the designated dealer is for our area, and the installation is so weak that 9/10 times we are dependant on dealers who never send the required person to fix the problem.

                                The problem I have is the Dish keeps shifting with the slightest breeze or weather change affecting the signal strength and in turn resulting in " Signal Not Found" error for major channel networks.

                                I am absolutely frustrated, with Dish TV and i think there should be some sort of joint complaint and above that senior officals in the channel should be answerable to consumers who have paid for thier service. I am in the procedure to change to Tata Sky... and am sure any service will be better than Dish TV.

                                  This year 9 January I have purchased dishtv in big Bazaar in Noida .its settalkbox was not working that why I want to discuss this problem in your call center this number[protected] but they not response me. This is first mail and last mail if you are not response that case I will go consumer coat and media.



                                  This is my request please take the action against your Delear and service man.
                                  Dish TV customer serviced is pathetic and so is there signal strength. Whenever there is a slight chance of rain, the signal gets cut for the whole day.

                                    This is with reference to my Dish TV Connection (VC no. [protected]), I want to inform you that my Dish TV had not been installed after shifiting my home from last 07days. On a daily basis I am registering my complaint to Dish TV customer care nos. On a daily basis I have been assured that my problem will be solved in next 24 hrs., and I have got a series of complaint nos. mentioning them here looks funny.But till now no body had even bothered to take care of my probelm and even I got the status of my complaints that this is resolved after talking to me but in reality not a single call atleast. In this season of summer vacations my family has been deprived from viewing the TV for last 07 days.

                                    Calling Dish Tv customer care centre is a tedeous and costly affair. On an average, one call take 5 minutes waiting period and costs to a customer Rs. 10 to 15 per call.

                                    Worst part is that these guys don't give any executive/manager/care centre's contact numbers.

                                    Please look into the matter on an urgent basis and if the probelm is not resolved in next 24 hours I would be compelled to surrender my connection and will go for Tata sky because my brother is having that & he is very happy with the service and he starts laughing when he heard about dish tv service.

                                    Now I am really regretting my decision for going to dish tv.

                                    The Pune customer service center people are very rude and they give such a big false assurances about the installation and when you call again they dont even have a single piece of information

                                    they use rude language and keep you on hold for ever.

                                    Raised the complaint already thrice but no response: complaint number is 11206190
                                    Today is my 2nd day after installing Dish TV in my home. After fixing the hardware in my home I am struggling to see the channels in my TV till now. A dealer named AMULRAJ, Annanagar, Chennai, Mobile - [protected] was literally running behind me to get this installation for him. To get this installation, he called me n number times and finally I said yes to install it.
                                    Immediately they arrived my home and installed and then ran away after promising that I will get the connection in 2 hours. But 2 days are going to complete, still now there is no improvement. That guy was not bothered and not at all picking the phone. Once in 20 calls he will pick the call and saying like he is working on that and I will get the connection in 20 mins. After that he never picked the call...

                                    So, please advive me on how to take action against this person. These kind of people needs to be screwed...

                                    Here is another great story about Dish TV. I bought one of the sets about 8 days back. They have not had the time to install it as of yet. I also have a TATA SKY ... you know how long they took to do the install - 2 days.
                                    i purchased a dishtv from big bazaar...but the dish tv employee refused that they will not install it because it is purchased from big bazaar..


                                    if it is so then the dish tv professionals should give a chart to customers that these are their outlet from whom the customer should purchase.

                                      As Gen. Secy. of JRD TATA Hall of Residence, NIT, Rourkela, complaining that I/We have already informed to our nearest dealer in Rourkela region, Orissa about the failure of signal from Antena, but they are not ready to bother about this. So then what is the alternative option? We are residing about 60 families in this married accomodation and wanted to take the Dish TV connection for each, if this type of service we will get from copany side then what will be the result?

                                      Dish TV — Non working of Dish

                                      I purchased a Dish TV connection in March for Rs 3500/-.
                                      On 19th May I booked a complaint ( Complaint no.[protected] for completely non working of their connection.Since 19th May I am requesting their customer care
                                      daily many times for looking after my complaint but my request seems to have
                                      fallen in deaf ears.

                                      I've called customer care for DISHTV so many times since 19th may i started to get no singal on my tv screen. i've also written to their nodal officer but nobody has yet come to rectify the problem. everytime they give new complain number though i'm stick on the complain number i received when i called them first time on 19th may. and funny part is that they have closed it with comment "solved" without even giving a call to me and never the technician was sent.

                                      looking forward to file a case against dishtv. no matter whatever time and money it takes. if somebody can help to tell me the procedure, it'd be a little easy for me and i'd be greatful... thnx in advance..

                                        we want your kind attention regarding your marketing and customer care dept/system. i have purchase your product on jan 2008 by big bazar kanpur u.p but sysrem insalled on 17/2/2008 from that day we ware out of station upto june 2008, we have activeted on 7/6/08 by itz card pay by net rs.162 just see your service as publicity by sharuk khan.
                                        I inform your system by phone[protected] that we have paid payment and ask when our sytem will work, as per assurence given by your staff(coustomer care deptt)that my stb will start to function/active from 4 to 24 hour BUT after 24hour it was not actived i again complaint by phone[protected] again got assurence of 4 to 24 hour, BUT NOT ACTIVETED AFTER 30 HOUR again complaint by phone to your system AGAIN got assurense 4 to 24 hour BUT NOT actived after 48 hour, on12/6/2008 i complaint by phone[protected] and ask the matter, why it is not activeting. as per your stream concorn people that we have not recd subscriber application form so it is not beeing actived but just after 20 sec(holding phone) he told me that we have recd copy and assured me that it is last call by me and my disc will activeted 4 to 24 hour(again abusing assurence 4 to 24 hour). BUT NOT ACTIVETED ON 13/6/2008 after 30 hour. Again i complaint on 14/6/2008 by phone[protected] i got ANSWER from your (abusing)sytem that we have not recd s.a. form.
                                        i complaint to that person([protected])who have installed the sytem and taken subcriber application regd problem he has replied we have deposited s.a. form at som datt office kanpur and told me that person who attained call on 6001347 are all is mad they only give assurence and do nothing and sugest me you should come pesonely at som datt office kanpur, when i told him that i am not uneble to go to som dutt office . he given me a phone bo.([protected] & 23) i contected on that no, and got same reply as [protected] that without personal attendece at our somdatt office we never start disc.
                                        I agian contected on[protected]on dt 14/6/2008 and tell him my problems they assured that our senior will contect to you by phone within hour and replied that our system will activated within 4 to 24 hour(again abusing 4 to 24)
                                        BUT TILL time 3:50 p.m. dt 15/6/2008 my disc is still not activeted nor i recieved any call from your concern

                                        Recently I bought (07/08/2013) True HD with recorder and i took South Royal package along with the receiver. My VC Card number is [protected]
                                        When i placed the order, the Dish tv people committed me that they are telecasting 39 true HD Channels and the same can watch with South Royal pack absolutely free for 2 months. After installation has been done by their technical professionals, i watched the HD Channels..

                                        The quality of HD Channels are very poor. There is no picture clarity and sound quality.. No sharpness in the HD Channels. No brightness in the picture. It is just like as SD Channels. Before installed the Dish TV I used Tata Sky with 12 HD Channels. All the Channels was very good in picture quality and excellent sound quality and bright video picture clarity, . In my home I am using LG smart LED 47 inch 3D tv..

                                        I really shocked that when i watched through the DISH TV, the HD channels are very poor clarity.. 5 or 6 channel might be some clarity in picture and sound.. Most of the HD channels clarity is very poor.. moreover the model of D6000 HD Reciever they supplied with antenna is very poor quality.. It is just like a local make. There is no advance option in that.. Even 1080P and 5.1 channel sound quality is also not available in that. The display shows that the ordinary channels are also as HD Channels. I can definitely say that the following channels are not HD channels. The channels are AXN, TLC, WB, MTV, VH1, MOVIES NOW, UTV ACTION, UTV MOVIES.

                                        Moreover the Dish tv online advertisements stated that the customer can watch 39 true HD channel when they take south Royal pack. I can definitely said that this is not true.. The available HD channels are only 18. How the DISH TV can advertise 39 HD channels and the same is watched by the customers? I challenged the dish tv people and proved it on behalf of their technical person and compared with TATA SKY HD channels.. They agreed my point and he accepted the quality difference between the TATA SKY and DISH TV HD channels..

                                        FALSE information given by the Dish tv organisation to the customers through advertisements in tv medias and website, The dish tv organisation thinking that the customers wont do any thing against these type of technical issues. But some one like me can take proper action.
                                        I can take this matter as legally, the concern authorities should answer all the above problems on behalf of the law.. I have many evidences and i have so many proofs with me that will be enough to take this issue as a legal way.
