[Resolved]  Dish TV India Limited — Pathetic Customer Care Cell

Dear Sirs,

My experience with customer care cell of Dish TV India has been pathetic.

I've been away from my home for past 3 weeks. Duing this period the services of Dish TV were not used. When I came back yesterday, I was not able to view even a single channel.

I tried reaching the local franchisee of Dish TV here in pune. I was told that the person would reach my house yesterday evening by 7 PM but in vain. Further when I called them at 7 PM yesterday, I was told that he should be able to make it by today early morning. But again no luck.

So we (self, my son Praveen & My son-in-law Guruprasad) opted to go through the customer care no of Dish TV[protected]. I have had a talk with the customer executives in the sequence below:
1. Do not remember the name: Told us to be on hold so that he can transfer the call to technical team. But technical team didnt pick up the phone for 10 minutes.
2. Puja: Told us that she feels its an issue with dish alignment. For this we need to get the service from their executives and should pay for it. When we asked her about the problems in alignment whether attributes to the bad installation from DIshTV, she forwarded the call to Mr. Sandeep who is her Team Leader.
3. Sandeep: Talked about the complaint for a while and forwarded the call to Mr. Ranjan who seems to be a technical expert.
4. Ranjan: Rajan felt to be a better expert so far and could help us in getting 14 channels on the channel serch option but still they were not visible. He was in midst of resolving the issue but the call got dropped.
5. Pushpa: We called again and got in touch with Ms. Pushpa, who we requeted to connect us to Mr. Ranjan. She confirmed that he is busy and she would book a call back which should be made within half an hour.
6. Prerana: As we didnt receive the call for around an hour, we called up again to customer care no. which was attended by Ms. Prerana and she too confirmed that Ranjan is busy. We asked her to put us with a senior in their team to escalate the matter. She confirmed that she will connect us with supervisor Mr. Varun. But don't know why, the call was abruptly cut.
7. Varun: We couldn't reach this person till end.
8. Tarannum: She looked to be more cooperative lady. But by this time we had lost our patience as it was 12.45 PM. The first call in the day was made at round 9 AM. We asked her to connect us to their manager and nobody else thinking he should be a better help. We were confirmed his name is Mr. Pawan Kumar. Meanwhile she connected us to Sandeep who again came into picture.
9. Sandeep: He now started telling us that it's an alignment issue and we should take chargeable service. This he somehow missed when he had first call with us. Surprising though, we told him to continue what he is doing about the issue. But we confirmed that we would like to speak to manager to convey the problems we faced. He confirmed that he is connecting us right away to Mr. Pawan and again the call was abruptly disconnected.
10. Pawan: We again couldn't reach him.

So conclusion is that spending around 4 hours with customer care team of Dish TV at this moment, we do not have even a complaint number for our original complaint. Further the complaint against the poor service by customer care is also not lodged by Dish TV support team.

Dish Tv has shut off the free to air channels when I did not want to subscribe to any of their packages - my complaint no, 21655586. My TV is blank now, no customer care personnel is available to listen to and take care. I have reported to police and consumer forum people to actually observe the situation and build up the evidence. dish TV is dumb in customer service.

Dish TV — Never Work Dish TV ,Fraud and Cheater

We paid Subscription Rs.358.00 for one month payment of VC [protected].
on 18/10/2009 , plus they Charged service Charges Rs. 150.00 for Visit , but it will never work, we call customer care no response, Very poor service in the world , Pl do not buy DISH TV, This is my honestly advice to all new Indian Buyer Dish TV Customers. Alway NO ACCESS, NO SIGNAL , Today is 26/10/2009. 9 days is over but NO ACCESS, NO SIGNAL , you will lose valuable money and gain lot of mental tension due to kind of services offer by Dish TV.

I agree that this is happening to me also and so far my complaint is not attended. I have paid and re charged on 18.01.10 for Rs. 150.00 and so far not activated. still the customer care says my account is de-acivated on 31st December 09.
My Order number is 289210 re charged on 18.01.10.

It is simply pathetic.

Dish TV — Cheating people through bogus publicity

Dear Sir,

Please note that the Co. DISHTV, published that on recharge that Zyada Recharge Zyada Return, say for Rs. 700/- Will get Rs.875/-, but on practically what we are getting???? there term is the customer need to contact and request the Dishtv within 15 day of recharge otherwise void the scheme, we never seen the term. Secondly what they are giving us, they will give us a choose contained some unnecessary chanel of their choice if any want, can take. Is not this cheating the common people of India. More over they are reducing the renewal date as their wish, say 2 to 10days.

Am expecting your response please.

Dish Tv Noida — After 4th Day dish Tv have no status of my transferred amount

My Name is Ajay Kumar. I book dish TV on 12th April 2010 by prepaid facility given by dish Tv website. My amount is deduct same day from my account. I sent scan copy of my amount deducted amount to Dish TV. I sent it to customer care, dish TV Supervisors, technical department but after 4th day they have no status of query. I make 30-40 times call to customer care but they guys have no access to retrieve my process. I talk to dish TV customer care seniors but they have same answer that : "Sir i forwarded ur query to concern department" . I can understant that in this big Brand have no any process to solve my problem.

Seriously very poor response from customer care departement and backend.

I am myself customer of dish tv.first sony channels were not coming we phoned customer care they sent some guy whose mob no is [protected].he changed our box & let us buy HD.still problem remained same, now for 3 days no channels are coming. this boy is not responding to our ph.no one is picking ph at customer care.we have spent the money, we can see no channels, our condition is pathetic too.These dish tv people are robbers.They spend so much money on advertisements but they have no liability towards their customers

fabulous people.. DISH TV is a [censored] sservice provider n the worst is the customer care localted in chennai.. they hv no resolutions starting from payment to tec... the agents/sups( r suckers)/Tls r the [censored] ..
i hv been a customer fr the last 5 years.. i wld seriously recommend other sat channels...trust me...

I am using Dish Tv from last 4 year and i am really fedup now its customer care service is like hell, you call them N number of time and you will get a single line reply sir we appologise the inconvinece you are facing and we will rectify with in two hour and that two hour never comes.

Hope there two hour will come in near future..

For Pune, you can even try TajS Network at[protected]/[protected]/[protected]... I have experienced better services from them. Seems Pune is going to see better days in terms of dish tv cc.
My V.C. No. [protected]

My last renewal was up to[protected] . On[protected], I have deposited Rs 2000.00 (Rupees two thousand) being the renewal charges for 6 months w.e.f.[protected] . The total renewal charges for 6 months ( 180 days) comes to Rs 2004.00 by calculating Rs 334.00 per month. In that case the renewal of my V.C should have been up to[protected] if not it would have been[protected] due less payment of Rs 4.00 .

It is noted from Dish TV message box that my V.C. has been renewed up to[protected] . How it can be ?

Same problem me. I called up to Dishtv CC as STB remote is not working(27/11/2010, 6:50PM). Then person (Vedivel P) logged a complaint[protected] and told that technician is going to visit my place by next 24 HRS.Then immediately i got a SMS from DishTV with the call no. After 15 mins i got a call from the dealer that we were going to send our technician by tomorrow 10 o'clock. Today(28/11/2010) after 11.00 am again i called to that dealer, dealer told that we had some issue. They were going to come to my place by 12 Noon / 1PM. At 11.35AM i got a call from the technician, that change your remote by going to some electronics shop as we didn't have the stock of remote. At the sametime i called up to DishTv CC informed the same to the CC person(Bhaskar).He told me that technician will be there at your place by 3PM. After 3PM again i called up to Dish Tv CC they told me that definitely technician will be at your place by 6Pm. Again the same story no one came to my place. Then i send a SMS to dishtv for the call me service. Then i got a call from Noida they asked me what is the issue. I told all the story. now they were saying that your STB is out of warranty.Here i am not getting one thing when yesterday i called to DishTV CC they told that your STB is under warranty.Here things are not matching. After lots of argument they told that they would send their technician but it would be under chargable basis.But i was not agreed.Now(8.35pm) when i called up to[protected] they(Naufer) told that your STB is under warranty till April 2011. Now what is this? Does DishTv CC has correct information about their customer's STB? Then again i explained the whole story to him.He informed me that your issue is under process.It would take another 24 HRS to resolve the issue.Now here he promised me that technician will be at my place by tomorrow(29/11/2010, 7PM). Let's see what is going to happen? Here i have a question to the DishTv are they No.1 or this is just a frame they are following.Even i said that TATA Sky is very good one. I have a TATA Sky connection in my home and it is working far far better than this worst DishTv.I didn't face anyissue for the TATA Sky.
