thanks, being given chance to express my difficulty.SIR/MADAM VERY HAPPY DIWALI TO ALL OF YOU. in our ujjain city the local mso say as sr cable, ujjain telecommunication and apna channel made their working together, and cable connections are above 100000, but they decided to keep coustomor price low, thus opperating their network through dish boxes and the vc no are as under> [protected], showing zee cinema.[protected], showing sahara one and [protected], showing zee tv.also these channel on their network, zee marathi 00210140, by tata sky in this ch. also dish code no coming but they locked to view by otheres.zee gujrati, zee bengali, and zee marathi also on line, but no vc no coming with them hbo, proffit, and few other ch also on line, sir, i am a cable service provider, and regd with coustom office well. thease people working in media line, providing free connection to commissioner collector and mla ministeres. i am very hope fully made this complaint to you, if you need more information about their address con no i can give it to you, please check them the above said group also doing this in ratlam, dewas, shajapur, and indore. hope to hear soon from you a step for clossing this emideate.thanks for space given to me and sorry, if you feel it inconvininence, or any kind of disturbence. you may call me any time by cell no [protected], [protected].satyaprakash.

    Dish TV — Non availablity of the services after payment of monthly charges.

    I have paid Rs. 270/- vide receipt No. 7849 dated 13.05.2008 being the monthly charges for reception of Most of the chhannels of Dish TV but even after payment and complaint they have not arranged to display rather continiously deducting the amount, The amount was deposited at 122, GuruNanakpura, Raja Park Jaipur Dish Care Centre My Viewing Card No. [protected] and Mobile No. [protected].
    No new channels like COLORS, NEO CRICKET, BINDASS, WORLD MOVIES. No Customer Support. Sharuk Khan was paid to advertise & we are fools to buy..

    Now it is free (Burden) on Costomers
    We are a Dish TV customer since 1st March 2006 and had purchased Dish TV from Trilok Enterprises, Mulund (East) from Mr. Vijay. Our VC number is [protected].

    Till November 2006 the transmission was OK except sometimes during the rainy season. We have several times intimated this problem to Dish TV service centre. But no action was taken by them so far After this we had very bad transmission with only few channels available in spite of paying the money for entire package till now. The last E-mail sent to Dish TV service centre at Noida was on 13 October 2008. The reply E-mail dated 23 September 2008 was that waiver will be give after completing the problem.

    After reply from service and subsequent intimation to service franchise “ICON TECHNOLOGY” at Bhandup, Mumbai; the Service Engineer has attended our complaint. After the diagnosis, as per his wisdom, first he told us that the LNB needs to be replaced for good transmission. The charge estimated for the same was Rs 170/- (Service charges) + Rs 270/- (Cost of LNB) which amounted to Rs 440/- . We agreed hoping that the problem would be solved.

    However after changing the LNB, There was not much change in the quality of transmission. “Signal Not Found” message was coming for many of the channels. For this, he further suggested to change the Dish because it was rusted. However Dish TV marketing brochure says that the dish is rust-free. This point should be noted.

    But even then we agreed to go for the replacement of the dish for an additional charge of Rs 480/- + installation charges Rs. 225/-. Even this was agreed by us with the hope of improvement in transmission. But even after changing the Dish along with LNB, there was no improvement at all. Service Engineer further suggested that entire wiring from the dish up till our set top box needs to be changed and charges for that came to Rs 384/-(32 meters at the cost of Rs 12 per meter). We even agreed to this with a last hope of improvement in quality of transmission. With all these modifications the total cost has escalated to Rs 1359/-

    On 22nd October 2008, with all these modifications, the transmission had definitely improved. But the very next day, i.e., on 23rd October 2008, when we switched on the TV, we could see only a blue screen on TV. We immediately informed the Service Center. The Service Engineer has attended to the problem and said that there is a problem with the set top box and he has taken it for repairing and informed that after 6 days it will be brought back to my residence only after we pay for the repair charges. We feel that the set top box has gave problem because the service engineer has taken several time this Set Top Box to roof top on 6th floor for signal tracking exercise. I don’t agree that voltage fluctuation could be the reason as I am using a voltage stabilizer. We are not to be held responsible for this as we have taken all necessary and proper care of the maintenance of the set top box. Also in spite of request for a stand by set top box, the service centre had not provided a standby Set Top Box the duration in which the faulty set top box was taken for repair(6 days).

    All these replacement and wiring have brought the cost to such an extent that with this cost we could have gone for a new connection from either TATA Sky/BIG TV/AIRTEL along with 12 months free transmission.
    The Dish TV management with reference to their mail dated 23 September 2008, promised to give waiver of subscription for the duration of the transmission problem (loss transmission of 50% Channels we have suffered from November 2006 till this date).

    My complaint against Dish TV Company is:

    1. My renewal of subscription with Dish TV is ending on[protected], where as the transmission from Dish TV was totally cutoff since[protected]. The dish TV should refund the last quarterly subscription paid to them (Rs.786/-).
    2. Dish TV should refund the amount paid to the service centre Rs.1359/- towards improvement in quality of transmission, which they have failed.
    3. Dish TV should pay a reasonable amount as decided by consumer court for the loss incurred by my family in not able to watch the different channel those could not viewed by us because of loss of channel for which we have paid the subscription from November 2006 to November 2008. (At least Rs.3, 00, 000/-)

    On 7th June I recharge my DIS TV through SMS to 57575.

    Massage receive against this SMS is : Transaction Success fully done for order[protected], PMGW[protected], S[protected].

    While channel not appear in my TV then I correct MY VC no and re send the SMS then massage receive against this –you have enterd invalide account no or password.
    I contact in customer care but they cant abele to resolve the problem.
    I contact to my nearest DIS TV dealer they show me that value of card is used and I cant do any thing.

    Kindly resolve my problem.

    I totally agree that there service is terrible at best.They have taken there customers for granted.I am switching to sun dth as they are much cheaper so what if I dont get a couple of bogus channels.

    Jaipur the shopkeeper has said that the channels will appear in 1 to 3 hours and now
    iam waiting till it comes its now started the 5 hour but its not coming

    Dish TV — Services not provided in spite of paying regular subscription charges

    I have been paying my monthly subscription charges regularly at the begining of the month, however suddenly my services were stopped and I was told that I have not being paying my dues. When I called up to call-centre, they checked into the system and found that system has incorrectly recorded my billing details due to which my connection is stopped. I was told that the problem will be resolved in next 15 minutes to 2 hours. However more than 12 hours have passed, but I have not yet got my connection restored. People in their customer care department are totally irresponsible and been giving me false commitment. To the extent that as I am writing this complaint, I am waiting on the call and wanting to speak with Ms. Radhika who is the team leader. However I am told that she is having her dinner and is not available to take my call. I am given false promises since stating that my account will be activated and I am being made to make several calls for no fault of mine.

    Unable to view channels for last 10 days, Showing message that no signal due to rain. As sky is clear, there is some issue in signal as some channels are running fine.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I’m Sandeep Kamath from Bangalore and I purchased Dish TV connection of 6 months subscription scheme as on 14/Nov/2007. I was continuously facing “No access / Signal not found” problem from day three of installation. Whenever I call at [protected] they never pick the calls & I never get the line of the customer executive to tell my problem & this phone line is chargeable also, so after 15-20 minutes of wait I’ve to cut my phone from my side.

      My VC number is [protected]. I recharged my account on 18.05.08 for 6 month for Rs 1800 in the package.

      On 31.05.08, there was some sparking in the set top box. I had registered a complaint with the dealer “Rajtronics”, Bangalore (John) the same day. After repeated attempts on [protected], I was unable to lodge a complaint. After repeated calls on 05.06.08, 07.06.08, & 09.06.08 ([protected] – Sumitra) local service. Finally on 10.06.08 the set top box was attended by the service engineer. It was diagnosed the SMPS had to be replaced. SMPS spare was not available so the set top box was taken & returned on 13.06.08. No replacement set top box was offered.

      Attached is the Xerox copy of the complaint filed. At this point I have lost 14 days of AIR time.

      On 29.09.08, 101 Conax conditional error was seen on the screen. After repeated attempts on [protected], I was unable to lodge a complaint. I was directed by Venketesh ([protected]) that a service engineer would visit soon. I repeated the same complaint on 01.10.08 to Manjunath ([protected]). On 05.10.08, 201 Card refresh error was being displayed. After repeated attempts I was able to connect to [protected] on 12.10.08, a complaint was registered. Complaint number[protected]. Another complaint was registered on 14.10.08. Complaint number[protected]. Service engineer (Pravin/Pradeep – [protected]) assured his visit on 13.10.08. As of today 16.10.08 he has not arrived & the problem is not sorted.

      At this point I have lost 16 days of AIR time & do not know how many more days..

      Total AIR time lost is approx 30 days (~Rs 300 per month package) for no fault from my side. For all the harassment & trouble caused, it would be good if I am reimbursed with an additional 30 days of viewing time.

      If Zee network enterprise / Dish TV does not respond to this mail, I’ve to prepare myself to file a suit in consumer form.

      DishTV — pathetic after sales service

      Since 2 years we have been using Dishtv but services have always been poor in terms of additoin of new channels or services. The alignment of the antenna has to be fixed I have made several phone calls, given the VC Nos. so any times since 19th Oct and today is 21st and still the problem has not been solved. we are not able to watch the Tv since 4 days.The staff is not competent enough to handle complaints or even talk to the customers.I am extremly dissatisfied with the services of Dishtv and in future I would never recommend anybody to take this product.
      I am still waiting for the Dishtv installiation mr. Kaushik Burman as vashisht Electronice are not co-operating and not coming to install the Dish TV even repeatedly phone by me atleast 30 times, I dont know what type of corrupt and irresponsible dealers has been selected by your compny to feed the helpless consumers

      Why action not be taken against you for the discrepianceis in the service, You and your company gives the bogus ads in the tv that dish tv isinstalled in your home in 24-hours but this is a fake promise by you and your duffer dealers

      pls reply postively and dont give the lollypops ??????

      The poorest of poor service observed today from Dish TV. In the last 24 hours, my wife has spent 98 rupees from her prepaid mobile, but yet to get the service.

      Now their floor supervisor, Arvinder has promised to look into the problem personally. Let us hope for the best.

        Dear Sirs,

        Viewing Card No. [protected].

        The above Dish Connection was bought by me on 31.03.08 by paying an amount of Rs. 4990/- to Shakti Electronics, Vasai one of your Dealer. Right from day one I have been facing problems with your Service and i had to call the Mechanic to set the things right. Yesterday I had been to your dealer who has informed me that the service of Dish TV is hopeless and he is in a helpless state and he will not be able to help me. He has also informed me that he has stopped Dish TV connection to his customers. In the last 3 days I have not been able to view any TV Programmes. The message appearing on the TV screen for 2 seconds is error 101 conditional access and after that the messasge appearing is call dish tv customer care on[protected]. I have tried many times to contact your customer care and i do not have the patience to wait for half an hour to contact your customer care.

        In the face of such tough competition you and your service engineers have been providing hopeless service to the customers which is alarming. Please make it convenient to talk to me on my mobile No. [protected]. Also send your service engineer to my address as below.

          Hi,
          I am a customer of Dish TV DTH service. The customer care service offered by the authorities are very poor as compared to other providers. Dish TV is actually milking the customers by initial offers. Later many channels are getting bloked even if you have paid money. I had subscribed for Maxi package one year before. After six months, they increased the package rates and reduced the number of channels. When I tried to call customer care, i had to wait for more than 1 hour to talk with the customer care executive. And in essesnce, I never got the value-for-money. The profit goes to dish tv and the ad model SRK.

          From my observation and experience, Dish tv is the poorest quality DTH provider. As compared to Tata Sky and Big TV, Dish TV is charging more for packages.

          So It is better to take a good decision before buying a DTH service.

          My DISH Coonection has not been working for almost 7 days now. I have tried lodging various complaint with the CC Executive. They keep giving me complaint numbers however there seems to be no solution to my problem. I have paid an advance Rental for One year for two connections. When i asked them to return my money they are unwilling to do so. They seem to be deducting money on daily basis while they themselves know that the VC has not been working for almost 10 days.

          After sturggling for almost 15 days i got my other VC activated which was not working when that got over my other dish stopped working.

          Is there any way i can come out of this.

          i am a costumer of dish tv DTH service.There is no problem but we have two dish tv set boxes in different rooms so we have to get them joined together so there is one set box but we can watch in 2 different rooms.

            I am good seller of Dish Tv New Connections. From Last 2 years and i have sold many connections of "DISH TV" till today.

            The probblem is

            So this Distributor told me if you recharge 1140 Rs You will get 1 year maxi plan (free) i sold 2 set up box with plan after this when i sell other 1 box then new distributor told me i am doing he is telling me from 30-45 days that i am changing this plan but nothing.

            I don't know what is probblem between these new and old Distributor.

              Some of the important channels specifically tamil channels are not properly recieved through Dish TV. When we contact the the so called Customer care after long wait some body will come on line only to say that their coputers are being up-graded and they cannot take any complaint. They will ask you to contact them after an hour. So far I never had any problems resolved and for these people Customer care cell is a waste. They have a website through which they boasted we give your feed back. But in case you complain we get a message that this complaint cannot be transferred to their mail server. These people are taking us for a ride by collecting the money in advance and not giving proper service. The problem of bad reception is existing for more than a month but still I am not even ablr to register my complaint.

My VC was somehow not working from 2nd Aug 08 and i placed a complaint on 3rd Aug Complaint and after that 3 days nobody attended my complaint and after 3 days your service man from SAI Services came up and replaced with new card # and said that it will start working in 24 hrs but still i have placed so many complaints on your call centre but no satisfactory answer was given from them every time they say it will take another 24 hrs. and still my new card is not working.. what the hell is Dish tv are providing services this is really not acceptable.. please look into the matter immediately ...or if your not able to provide services then please reimburse my charges paid to you for new card(Rs.400) & visiting charges(RS. 150) and telecasting charges as well. i actually thinking of get this connection surrendered and look for some other option if this is not rectified by today. Also request you to provide your Regional VP/Managers contact No. so that i could escalate this issue.

                    i have DishTV and paid Rs100 [only free to air channels] on date 8/9/08 and it was showing next renewal date is 31/12/08. but from 8/10/08 when i turn on my TV it is showing contact dishtv [and custormer care no.].[this also happens when i dont pay renewals]

                    i have ordered a movie on 2/10/08 and i recieved a message that they will cut money on my next recharge and time of movie. but when i tuned to movie on demand [channel no.53 as written on message] conax conditional access window appeared after trailers and after one or two minutes the movie stopped. i have tried to watch movie many times but conax window always appears.

                        I am very new subscriber of Dish TV DTH service and opted for Dish TV Maxi and paid Rs.3990/- for one year subscription which includes Dish Welcome+Regional Pick(telugu)+dish Plus and Dish News, However, when i called to customer care to complain that there are no telugu channels broadcasted other than Gemini, ETV and Maa TV, and told him that their brochure in regional pick(telugu) mentions other channels of Telugu and to my suprise the customer care executive started explaining me that he is telecasting Other telugu channels such as Surya Television(which is a malayalm channel) and argues with me that surya belongs to Telugu...
                        One thing i can definitely tell eveybody that Dish TV DTH is very bad in terms of service and have no hear to listen any customer complaints.The best of the website is they don't have any escalation procedures mentioned when service is failed.I feel irriated when i have chosen Dish TV and given an opportunity would like to speak with any responsible officer who can understand my problem and who can revert to me with a solution after reading this mail even after a month...

                        FOR EVERY BODY WHO ARE DISH TV USERS ITS SHEER WASTE OF TIME ON CALLING TO THE TOLL FREE NUMBER([protected]) AND TALKING WITH TO THOSE BRAINLESS EXECUTIVES ...Regards, Pradeep, Hyderabad.

                        Dish DTH company is about to be closed. Observed that they even have no control over their dealers.technicians also. Seems to be closng their business sooner. Don't recharge this stupid service. You are not guaranteed for service. instead go for a new service . They will provide new offers which will cover the loss paid by you for buying dish DTH.
                        The dish DTH is not able to send their t technician even after 30 days of complaint. That is their situation.think while you recharge

                                I RAJEV SHARMA R/o A215 Majlis Park Azadpur Delhi purchased dishtv alongwith one year package on advance payment of Rs3000/- (against total package of Rs4000/-) from authorized dealer Neelkanth Electronics A-110 Majlis Park, Panchvati road, Delhi-110033 on 31/05/08. Dealer has assured me that dishtv will be installed on same day or at the most on neat day. I have not only visited the dealer’s shop regularly for installation of dishtv but also pursued the matter on telephone but dishtv is not installed at my residence so far due to laxity on the part of dishtv.
                                One distv representative came to my residence on 02/07/08 at 8:30PM for installation of dishtv and he has fixed the dish on roof but unable to do cable connection due to unavailability of cable connector. Dishtv representative gave me assurance the he will do complete installation on next day i.e. 03/07/08. I have again pursued the matter with dishtv representative for installation of dishtv. But nobody turned up for installation of dishtv till now.
                                Keeping in view poor services/ response of dishtv towards customers, I have decided not to install dishtv. It is requested to refund my advance payment of Rs3000/- and take back dishtv set top box and other tools.

                                  I had made two payments for subscription of DishTv. The first one was made in September 2007 for renewal of Maxi service for one year. The subscription was discontinued in December, saying that it has been expired. I made another payment for further renewal of 6 months, as I had misplaced the previous payment receipt. Since December, DishTV has decided to disconnect my connection every month, and I have to call them and re-explain my ordeal every time for them to bless me with their service. However, till date, even after I have been assured by numerous customer service executives and also their supervisor, I do not see any improvement in the condition. As I am writing this message, my connection has been disconnected, though my payment has been made to them (proofs of which are available) till March 2009. My VC number for reference is [protected].                                   Dish TV — Erroneous Cancellation of Subscription

                                  I had made two payments for subscription of DishTv. The first one was made in September 2007 for renewal of Maxi service for one year. The subscription was discontinued in December, saying that it has been expired. I made another payment for further renewal of 6 months, as I had misplaced the previous payment receipt. Since December, DishTV has decided to disconnect my connection every month, and I have to call them and re-explain my ordeal every time for them to bless me with their service. However, till date, even after I have been assured by numerous customer service executives and also their supervisor, I do not see any improvement in the condition. As I am writing this message, my connection has been disconnected, though my payment has been made to them (proofs of which are available) till March 2009. My VC number for reference is [protected].                                   or lastly take the STB and throw into theirs store in front of them in a very harsh ful, rude manner ..
