I am facing a lot of problems against DISH TV. My dish tv is not properly worked because the dish tv alignment is not properly connected. Regarding this. I tried customer care phone no given by Dish TV[protected],[protected] &[protected] for logged a complain. I tried continuously 4 hours but I could not get the line.Next day once again I tried to lodge a complaint and finally raised a complain(no;[protected] on April 18, 2008 but they did not respond to my issue. After 5 days they send one technician nothing he did but he charged 500 rupees. still i am facing same problem this is the very bad situation with DISH TV. please...

Dish TV — DishTv doesnt care for problems of its customers

I purchased one DishTv DTH set on 31st August 2006. At the time of purchase I was assured by the dealer for a quality service.

I was promised to install the dish on very next day ie the 1st of Sept. 06. Hence, I waited for DishTv man who was supposed to install the dish. But NO ONE came.

I spend a good amount on calling DishTV peopple during next two months for installationj, but NO RESPONSE. Only after two months of purhcase, company's service personal came to my home for installation... what a service ! DishTV can verify my installation record.

One of my friend who purchased another company's DTH got his dish installed on the very same day. thats a service which should be appreciate.

I am afraid to comment about the DishTV services - its worst one i ever seen provided from a Big company like it is.

As the Installation occurred AFTER TWO MONTHS of purchase, I requested company (almost 50 times through phone and emails) to extend my free viewing time for another two months. They never look into the matter and never tried to feel the problem I faced because of their company.

I NEVER GOT ANY SATISFACTORY REPLY FROM COMPANY. THEY SURELY FEEL THEIR CUSTOMER CAN NOT DO MUCH ONCE THEY TRAPPED BY PURCHASING THEIR DISHTV.

THIS IS TRULY HOPELESS COMPANY...!
Never go for DISHTV, I had similar kind of experience with this company. This company feels that its customers are fool, or easy to fool.
Completely unscrupulous service team. Not at all bothered about customer and worser than local cable tv service.

Normal package migration is pending complaint 10226262. no response for more than 3 days. spent more than 200 rs in calling the customer service.

My bad days started, when i planned to go for Dish TV.

They took 4500/Rs, assuring that they will provide free service for one year.

But when we are checking the records, its coming out to be only 6 months ...

and after one month of service, something happened to DistV antenna becoz of which it was not catching the signal.

After that i am calling Customer care everyday..everyday, i swear ..but they and their 24 hours...

everyday same damn thing, "Madam give us 24 hours" but dnt knw when their final 24th hour will come.

so please dnt make the the same mistake that i have made...

I am not getting any channel through DIsh Tv. I have lodged the complaint regarding DISH TV, on 26 apr 08. They transfer my complaint to Pune office(kharadi). But no technician came to solve my problem.
Now nobody is picking up the phone, if someone pick the phone for disconnecting it . Really if Dish people come to my home then i will through them from 5 floor along with their DISH .
Totally DISH is cheating people, worst service center in country.

I got BB connection from MTNL under a scheme of "waiver of all installation and other charges" in March 2007 but surprisingly Rs.1300/- was deducted as installation and other charges in Dec'2007. Though I have moved my appeal to PG cell but no result. Disgusted I am, ultimately disconnected my BB connection in May 2008.

i agree with all o[censored], i have got similar experience as most o[censored]. they think that customers are fool, or easy to fool. my personal suggestion is that please don't go for DishTV, the Local Cable Network is 100 times better.

i have put my complain on 9th jan and till yet i did not get service yet ( 22 nd jan)

everyday i am calling customer care and getting same answer: "Give us 24 Hours" and gods know when their 24 hours will be completed.

if anyone can, please suggest me, what action i can take against this ****** DishTV
I fully agree. Last two days I am trying to renew subscription by phone & website but without success. Site is not working. IVR is of no use. telephone number is constantly busy and if I get hold of some crap CSR she tells me some new number. I recommend not to take any subscription from dishtv.

    My VC no is [protected] i bought my DishTV package with 3 month free suscription in Sep 2006, free subcription was valid till Mid Dec 2006. But some how due to some technical problems with Dish TV my conection worked for 1month only. In order to get my services resorted i had to fight with their unprofessional and uneducated customer service representatives continuosuly for 2.5 months. Finally services restored and my free ctivated in Mid Dec and worked till Mid feb and then 3 months free period expired. SInce then they are showing some 525 Rs in my account as unpaid and have deactivated my account.
    Since then I am only figthing and fighting. I have not seen that worst organisation in my entire life and believe that we all customers should make a forum against them and shuld lodge a police complaint against hem.

    I had also subscribed for Dish TV in Feb 09, while doing renewal of subscription, it provides very very very poor customer service. Today is the 4th Day I am not able to view DISH TV even after paying subscription amount. I was told by executive of Dish TV after sending my SMS 18 times that I have tio call up customer care No. I have been trying all the three customer care No but every time automated machine gives faulty signal that VC No i am tyoing is not correct. There is only other way where Customer Care Executive calls up tha is send SMS at least 10 times then only they call but nobody has been able to start my connection again. This is the second time in the last 4-5 months as I normally pay at least for two months.
    i have also very bad experience with DishTV services. i paid money thru internet n it has taken 4 days to deposit in his a/c. even by depositing, it has not given the service. the customer care service is also worst. its really a fraud we hav to go for consumer foreum

        I had purchased Dish TV connection in Big Bazaar Scheme on 27/01/2008 at Raipur. At the time of taking connection the Dish TV people have confirmed that the connection can be installed at Nagpur without any problem even though it has been purchased in Raipur. After a long follow up the connection was installed. During the first renewal of monthly payment I called there toll free number but I was told that the connection is not in my name but it is in the name of Mr. Singh of Raipur. The man on the call centre informed me to send a mail to customer care of Dish TV for change in the name which I did on 23/03/2008. After an long correspondence on E-mail I received a mail from customer care that the name has been changed vide there E-mail dt.01/04/2008. I faced problem in certain channels and I rang up there toll free number and to my surprise I was told that the connection is in the name of Mr. Singh of Raipur. It seems that Dish TV people are cheating the customers as they have given false information of change in name whereas they have really not made the change in there system. I had sent them a mail mentioning to refund my initial Rs.1000 + 350 of first recharge + 200 of second recharge + the humilation and harrassment they have given to me. They are not replying now so please arrange to take suitable action against them.

        dishtv & Big baazar — connection not yet installed

        i brought a dish tv connection from bigbaazar on 26th of january (bill no.t32/4530)... and there dish tv people promised me installation within 10 days and till today that is 29th of march no one has even responded... i have given four complaints out of which they gave me a wrong compaint no. the first time and next two complaint no. are 11645245 dated 20/02 & 11808442 dated 07/03... and everythine i dial their toll free no. [protected] no one responds ... pl do something about this sir... these companies should be sued for such hopeless service... i hope u do the needful ...

          hi as per the broadcast bill para number 7.1 no DTH provider can lock the stb receiver. They have make sure the interpoling should work with the stb. But dishtv is forcefully updating the default software and locking the stb, so that customers cannot view even the fta DD direct+ channels also, Which is inlegal. They posses no rights to do this. In case this complaint reaches to any higher officials, then i need them to respond. Also, i am trying to open a suit for this concern in trai. I have already collected the required format and trai advisory commite has given my plea a green go. I am hoping that dish tv will realise that what a big mistake they have done by updateing thier software and creating trouble for all their customer.

            probes,

            some aliments probes, network probes .in month nov'08
            I change the dish, lmv and spend Rs: 750.00, that time probes was frizzing, channel skip, home transponder probes. now probes is frizzing and channel skip. Again I have to spend money. Your slogan isn’t appropriate on my set-top-box, or my TV’s life ... We r spending money but we are not getting proper crystal quality picture, which is dish TV says or motto.               dear sir
              i am fed up with your cable service because whenever i recharge my renewal card i enjoy your service after claiming that i have paid my payment via itz card only after i mail you my account number and itz serial number with password. every month this is only procedure to activate my connection? why it is not activated when i have already made payment. i have never received any bill (invoice) from your company. if your company discontinue my service when payment is not received why your company activate customer service after receiving payment. i think this is shame on your part if some body is availing your service and there is no balance in account the only thing is company cut there service but what happens when customer has made payment and service is not active what should customer cut company.

                i got some alignment problem in my dish tv antenna on[protected], so i called them up on their call centre no. and they told me that the problem'd be resolved in 24-48 hours and gave me a complaint no.. since then i've been calling them again and again and they keep on assuring me that the repair'd be done within 24 hours and sometimes say that the system is showing that your problem has been resolved but nobody ever called me or showed up at my home.they dont even gimme their reg. off. no.s. My complaint no.s(given to me) are: 12462803, 12369993, 12376662, 12417805, 12421949, 12442947, and i lost 2 more complaint no.s given to me, mr. rakesh jha told me to go to manesar and to get a technician from there as well and asked me who gave you my no. i m feeling totally helpless. kindly help me out.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,
                  I became a DishTV customer around two months back. My VC number is [protected]. While traking the connection, i had to pay Rs 5000/- for the set-top-box and other connecion charges which to my best knowledge includes the taxes too. The process went about at good speed till tyhe point of taking money from me. But once i have made tha payment, these people have shown their true colours. The equipments were fixed in lightening speed, but to get the connection activated, i had to fight another war against the DISHTV customer care and the Dealer. They made me resend my documents and all the stuff, and i got my connection activated only after 4 days(approximately). So far a great acheivement after paying Rs 5000/- in ready cash.

                  Now i will come to my present problem, on April 2nd, due to heavy rain, the wire which was connected to back of antenna came off, and as a result our connection was gone. I knew these people will take the issue on their stride and would not even move a single finger to send in a technician till they please. But still the vulnerable customer, a more civilised name for present day common man, have minimum options to turn to. Finally i called them up by 9.00 PM at night and registered a complaint regarding this.(Complaint number :[protected]. At the time of registering the complaint, i mentioned my available timings also, so that the technician wont be having trouble coming twice, just in case if he was unable to find me. And now when i am typing this mail, the time is 12.07 PM on April 5th. Till now i havent received a call from them asking about the issue. Also i have made around 7 to 8 calls to the customer care requesting, begging, demanding service. They laughed at me. Every time they gave the same lame reasons. Yesterday i lost my patience, i called them from my mobile (i can submit the proof which will be my detailed mobile bill) to ask about the still unresolved complaint, they made me wait for around One and half Hours on call, while they played by transfering the calls to each other.

                  Sir, i dont know what to do in this situation, i am hurt, insulted and helpless. These people are supposed to be service providers, but in fact this is the situation most of the customer are facing. I dont want this to go unpunished or unnoticed. Is there any organisation which can help the helpless customers like me ? Or are they allowed to roam aroundd freely, abusing the theoritical word DEMOCRACY. I think this is high time these people are taught a lesson. Or else the sentense which we have been studying from school level "INDIA IS A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY"should be changed to some thing else.

                  I am fully agree with you, ZEE Dish Tv is totally fraud and are cheating its custmer openely.

                  I have taken Dish tv connection one year back, with 1+3 (parent+child) connection. At the time of taking connection thyey havea mentioned that every child connection cost Rs125/- and I will got all channel in maxi pack. after 2 month, they hike price of child connection to Rs 155/-. I never mind that but now they have hike the price to 174/-for every child connection and also on my child dish, star channel+sports channel+cartoon channels are not available and when i complaint it, customer care responding that you have to pay for these channel for every child connection.
                  what a horrible sock it is to me.This is totally fraud, they committed some else when taking connection and now when i have no option, they starts cheating their custmer.

                  I am going to disconnect my Dish tv connection and moving to other opearator.

                    Poorest service i have ever had. Shifted my home to another location and in the last 12 days i m unable to get it installed despite daily chasing with customer care.

                    Customer care is totally non-responsive.

                    Have heard, Tata Sky provide much better service.

                    This is to bring to your kind notice that inspite of repeated complaints about the DISH TV installed at our premises, Hotel Lutyens, 222/223, MG Road, New Mangla Puri, New Delhi-110030 by Eleven Star Communications Pvt. Ltd. 8822, East Park Road, Third floor, Karol Bagh, New Delhi were not working properly. Several times during the month not only the paid channels but also the free channels disappears from our Televisions. It creates a lots of problem with the Guest & also revenue loss to our Company.

                    You are requested to please look into the matter & resolve the problem as early as possible.

                        I am S K Yadav holding DishTV VC number [protected]. I was charged Rs 595 for 1 month subscription from 26th feb to 25th march.

                        My account showed Rs 295 outstanding in my DishTV account. How can I have outstanding balance when I had not subscribed to the services.
                        We had not subscribed to DishTV in the said months of Nov-Dec-2007 as shown in the balance sheet so there should be no outstanding.

                        On indicating to the customer care that I cant subscribe unless I pay my dues they had no answer. On my insistence a complaint with complain ID 11629859 was registered. The executive also told me to go ahead with subscription for the current month and that the matter would be resolved within 24 hours. Following the conversation I recharged and was charged around Rs 600 for one month.
                        I had also posted the same complaint on DishTV's web page with complaint id SRC-26/02/08-42889. On writing to them again after 2 days, I was sent a reply that my service was activated and there was no mention of the unduly charged Rs.300.

                        stb no. is [protected]F6A020292.I was watching kannada channels by paying Rs.350.It got expired on[protected].From[protected] surprisingly I am not getting any channels even free to DD channels also.When enquried with customer care,they told it is not possible to give any free to air channels with out money.For the time being I have paid Rs.150 and activated the connection.But I will go to consumer court to get the free to air channels from DD through Dish TV. When trying to contact customer care what is that time cosuming movie on demand adds(irritating !? ).?Don't play with cosumers money and time.
                        i am paying my renewal from my credit card but the website of dishtv is showing only the message "Pending". My three transaction are pending and I have not got any information that transaction is failed on succeed. It is very slow process.

                        We are not able to watch FREE TO AIR channels also. As these costs nothing and provided by government.

                        I am too a Dish Tv Customer... I had never seen such a worse service in my whole life... no new channels added if added lately then they were removed very quickly too... most of the new channels were so boaring...no use to indian viewers... no gud channels are added in dishtv... most of the channels are being removed... but the payment is same as it is... everymonth we pay for the same ... other DTH too have the same problems... we pay more and had less content of channels... dish tv cheat people very easily... all boz of big peoples who manage the team[ dish tv]...
                        I m paying Rs 262 per month but still m not able to see all chanel clearly ... always a message is blinking that NOT ABLE TO LOCATE SIGNAL ...
                        WE ARE NOT ABLE TO WATCH ANY CHANNEL.BECAUSE ON THE FRONT OF THE SCREEN IT IS WRITTEN THAT CALL CUSTOMER CARE.BUT WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY DO NOT CORPORATE WITH ME.
                        I have purchased Dish TV connection on 18.01.2008 from Madan Lal & Sons @ Rs.4999/- (one year subscription free). After 40-45 days (before 2nd Mar.2008) of purchasing I am noticing transmission of that various channels such as STAR, STAR ONE, SAHARA, ZEE ZAGARAN, SAHARA ONE, INDIATV, ETC are not proper as the screen is vibrating.
                        We have lodged the complaint a number of times to Madan Lal & sons and also at your service center, Kota (Mr. ML Agrawal, Mangal Radio, Shopping Center). The Customer Service Center charging Rs.150 for every visit for checking the any type of problem and have said that there will be no responsibility if the problem sustains the next day and will again have to pay the sum of Rs.150/- for checking the problem.

                        Problem regarding vibrating screenfor some channels is still being faced by me as it hasn’t be sort out as yet.
                        VERY VERY VERY POOR ALL TYPE OF CUSTOMER CARE CENTER SERVICES SUCH AS SMS (ALWAYS FAILED) TOLL FREE NO. ALWAY BUSY. STD LINE (3 & 4 DIGIT) NOT PROPER RESPONSIDING AND Complaint from as available on DISHTV.IN Totally failed.

After waiting for 48 Hrs. all the pay channels are showing Conditional access. I have contacted the customer support office In Chandigarh almost the etire of the last week.Everytime they asked for so many detail about the connection which I have provided. Also everytime they gave me a complaint number and assured me that it will be alright in the next 15 min to 4 Hrs. But till date the situation is remaining same. I am not been able to view any of the pay channel.
                        DishTv is a very poor Services. His owner just collecting the money from the market and wants to close his business as soon as possible, because they have no potential to compete with Tata Sky and Sun Decoder.
                        Free to air channels are not shown, also volume of set of not increasing.
                        I want Q Tv to be aired on Dish TV as it is a great educational channel for Muslims all over the world. I used to get this channel in Gandhinagar, Gujarat where Narendra Modi is ruling on normal Cable Connection.                         To-day, I have deposited an amount of Rs 1, 600.00 in advance being the re-charge for another 5 months to be effected from .[protected] with an assumption to get the benefit of extra one month i. e total 6 months ( as per Offer given by the Dist TV Company ).

                        It is undesirable to note from the message which was flashed in the message box of my set box with the following content

                        “ the amount of Rs 1600.00 has been received . Your next re-charge date is[protected]”

                        It is not known to me. How it can be ? My original re-charge date is[protected], from that day the if the re-charge validity for 5 months ie 150 days is calculated than it will be[protected] and if the offer of one month is added than it will be[protected]. .

                        My experience - DISH TV after sales persons keep parroting the same response on email without much attention towards customers concern.
                        I have never found them to have read the concern in detail before responding to it.

                        Aside there is no escalation matrix defined and customers are compelled to write only to one customer care id who response quality if very poor though they are quite prompt in responding.
                        Customer expects addressal rather than only promptness.

Each time, the required page for giving Bank & Credit Card details does not open and as a result, I can not pay my renewal. Interestingly, instead of acknowledging their fault and taking corrective measures, they advise me to check with Bank for my Credit Card condition.

                            Earlier also I had experienced same thing. It may be presumed that DISHTV India is run by a very bureaurocratic and complacent attitude, does not bother much for customers. In this regard, several e-mails were sent, but they have never replied.

                            Don't do the mistake of putting your money on DISH TV. I took a 2 tv connection for Rs 7999 and suffereing immensely. So far i have lost 51 days of service in last 6 months and currently both my tv connections have stopped working.

They waste unnecessary time of the viewers with boasting on easy recharge and simply advertise their ETZ cards. for last one week using various actors and film stars. They even do not complete the details in "my space" which is mostly found with zero figures. I am trying to recharge my own TV which was last recharged on 14.02.2008 for one year as a maxi subscriber. Today they have totally disconnected me from the broadcast. I wanted to recharge it online. To day I am seriously thinking of shifting myself to some other service lilke "BIG TV" or SUN TV" which much cheaper also.

                            yes, i agree to that, even i am trying to renew my account through credit card, but dint find any option, evey time its headache.last time i bought oxgen card, but renewing that is big headache, called dishtv customer care, they asked me to send sms, and evey sms cost rs.6 i guess.like that 4 sms i sent, after that also, they dint renew, they said, some spelling error, i sent sms according to their instructins.like that i lost somuch money while continuously sending sms.its better to shift to cable, than dishtv, they charge huge price, for maxi, in that money we can subscribe 2 months local cable .

                                I HAD TAKEN TWO CONNECTIONS on 08.07.2007 by paying rs 8000 to dish tv on the assurance that for the first one no monthly rental to be paid for 6 months ,ie, upto 08.01.2008 and for the second one , no rental to be paid upto 08.07.2008.

                                from the day one, iwas facing lot of problems with them and the content of one e-mail sent to them is reproduced below:

                                I SHALL TAKE UP THE ISSUE WITH CONSUMER COURT IF THE ISSUE IS NOT SETTLED
                                WITHIN 24 HOURS FROM THE TIME THIS MAIL IS BEING SENT AS I HAVE SPENT MORE

                                no action was taken and both the connections have been deactivated although for second connection, no rental was to be paid upto 08.07.2008.
                                they have deactivated the free to air channel also.

                                in view of the above, i shall request you to direct the company to immediately restore my connection atleast for the second one so that the terms of the contract is adhered to.

                                Sir,
                                i am Dr Archana Panda a subcriber of Dish Tv using the maxi package, VC no[protected] Since the past 10 days i am unable to access any of the channels and a message is flashed on a blue back ground mentioning conditional access and been adviced to call customer care . On trying the customer care @[protected] there was no body to take the phone from the customer care representative side. i even tried to know my balance also by trying the air tel no from where i came to know that Rs 799.00 balance is already over there, and also mentioned that balance is sufficient and some tecnical problem is there which canbe sorted ot by calling this no[protected] . Its already 10 days and there is nothing i can do to get the problem fixed . In the mean time i have even sent sms for this complaint.
                                I dont know what to do next excepting for writing comlaints in different forums and taking a message which shows that there is no value for the money that we are putting for this Dish TV.
                                This shows nothing but the carelessness and ignorance of Dish TV as it prooves itslf by its poor show .

                                  I would like to bring to the kind notice of the board that I have purchased dish t.v. about 6 months back by paying Rs.4200/ and opted for Z TV package. From 20th Jan 08 suddenly telecast of all the channels stopped without any information. I immediately contacted the dishtv, they informed me to pay Rs 600/ for telecast of Free to Air channels. I told them that free to air channels are free and why are you asking money they responded very badly and told me that our policy is being changed. Since I can not see free to air channels Dish TV STB and antenna Since the services are very poor and asking money for free to air channels I want to surrender it immediately. Can any one help me to suggest , how to stop the cheating activities of Dish TV in India?? How to complain to government of India for charging the money for free to air channels?

                                  Yes, you are right, when they are free to air channels, why should they ask you money for that, did u get any solution.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I would like to bring to your kind notice that I have bought three Dish TV connections i.e. 01 Parent (VC # [protected] in the name of Mr. Chander Prakash) and 02 Child connection in the month of October 2007 from Ravi Electronics.

                                    When I purchased this connection, there was a scheme for first connection @ Rs. 3,600.00 user will get 6 months subscriptions free and for child connection, charges will be Rs. 3,000.00 per connection without any subscription charges.

                                    Based on the above scheme I bought three connections and I have already paid additional amount of Rs. 1,200.00 as a 6 months advance subscription for both child connections apart from Rs. 6,000.00 (2 x 3,000) i.e. till April 2008, there should not be any due for all three connections (parent and child).

                                    On 16th February 2008, all my three connections were deactivated and on enquiring from the customer care department, I got an answer, the reason for disconnection is non payment. Customer Care Department of Dish TV also agreed that this has happened due to mistake at their end as they have entered the date of February instead of April 2008. As per company record, I have paid Rs. 10,580.00 for all three above mentioned connections against the payment I have made to Ravi Electronics of Rs. 10,800.00, the difference may be the commission of Ravi Electronics.

                                    As per company records and information, I have made / cleared the payments till April 2008 then I don’t know why my connections have been deactivated. Whenever I call customer care the only answer I get from “Fault is from our end and all the connections will be activated within 24 Hours and you will get a call from our CRC department”. From 20th February I am continuously hearing this statement. And after almost 200 Hours I didn’t get any solution from Dish TV. Details of Complaint nos. are as under :

                                    Complaint # 11613858 dated 25.02.08 spoken with Mr. Aman, Sr. Supervisor
                                    Complaint # 11620092 dated 26.02.08 spoken with Mr. Akshay
                                    Complaint # 11631414 dated 26.02.08 spoken with Mr. Gurmeet

                                    After a series of repeated follow ups I received a call from Mr. Marshall of CRC department. First of all the attitude of this gentlemen is not good. He don’t know how to attend the customer, inspite of me indicating about his attitude, Mr. Marshall advised me to get in contact with Customer Care Department for better services, since, Mr. Marshall can not do much and will not change his attitude for one customer like me.

                                    Records which customer care department is maintaining, is not matching with Mr. Marshall’s record. As per Customer Care I have made the full payment, however as per Mr. Marshall’s record, still I have to make the payments for my three connections.

                                    I have already lodged the complaint in Feedback form of DishTV site but unfortunately I have not received any response from them.

                                    I am writing this mail to you with a high expectations, I have set and I sure and very confident, this issue will be resolved at the earliest.

                                    Moreover, personnel like Mr. Marshall should be taught, how to deal with Customers.

                                    I agree that Dish TV is having horrible service. The customer care is pathetic, I its wrost than a government sector. They dont bother about customers. I called like 10 times in a week for activation of my account still of no use. If they provide the same service it will be closed soon.

                                    I suggest all not to go with Dish TV. I think normal Cabel providers will do 100 times better job than these people.

                                    There is a lot of ambiguity in Dish Tv services. They never tell full facts. I took 2 connections and they failed to mention at the timeof taking connection that all channels do not come on the child connection, so i also parent connection should have platinum package only, so i had to get the 2 connections separated after several such miscommunications. I recharge my VC with recharge free cards to get free MODs but i always get charged for ordering the movie. 1st i was told that movies on channel no. 50 and 51 can not be redeemed against the offer, but later i was charged for a movie on channel no. 54 also and i was told that the movie could not be redeemed against the offer. i have mailed them to ask how to check if a movie can be redeemed against recharge free scheme, but have not got any reply as yet.                                     Dish after sales service is very poor. They do not have sufficient qualified technicians to attend to the faults and the user has to wait for many days to get it in order. The dealers are also not friendly in their attitude. So next time 'NO WISH FOR DISH"

                                    My name is Shamiara Khan and I stay in Umroi Cantt near Shillong. We bought Dish 2 yrs back in Ooty, we faced few problems, but it was not the way it is now. Since one yr iam in shillong. And on 15th June I bought platinum pack + colors for 6 months and I paid 2130 rs/ to the dealer named Electronic House, G.S.Rd, Shillong. But after 4-5 days only, my Tv started showing nothing.It said contact cutomer care or Check Smart card. I tried to do so but nothing is happening. Now, when i tried to contact customer care.Computerised announsement comes and they ask for the VC no. or mobile no.. And shocking part is when i give that, it says that my VC no. and my mobile no. is invalid. So Iam not getting any service after full payment.

                                    I just want you to take proper step and see into my problem Why dish is saying that my VC no. is invalid...that is quite confusing. Please help me.As the dealer is also very rude and not in ahelping mood.

                                    One complaint No. 28513255 for installation of dish tv antenna at IInd floor, A-157, Fateh Nagar, New Delhi-18, was lodged on 23.08.09 and I was told that within 48 hours it will be installed. Daily I telephoned for the same but every time I was told that within 48 hours it will be installed. I don't know when this 48 hours started. Today i.e. on 27.08.09 I was told that in the evening at 6.30 pm the person named Mr. Gurmukh ( Mob No.[protected]) will come. I have taken short leave from office to attend the person for installation. But when the person not camed, I rang him. He told that company has given some other work and I am unable to visit today. I appreciate the company for such type of services they provided. You are well known that in the market there is very much competition and if you give such type of services then how will you compete the others.

                                    I have recharged platinum card[protected] on 31st August. It has been six days since the installation. I can only watch some channels that I really do not wish to or paid to watch but are part of the package. I have spent my hard earned money to watch the English News, Movies, Sports channels and entertainment channels like Sony, Star plus, Star World, AXN etc. I have once posted a complain but with no action except a reply acknowledging the receipt of the complain. Is the complain desk just to receive complains or to receive and act on the complains. I really wished to go for other satellite company but with a blind hope thinking that being the oldest company in this line it might provide a better service.

                                    I have lodged a complaint on 06-10-09 and the concerned person received on 07.10.09. I have informed him to shift dish TV at some other place. He has asked for charges Rs.350/- for shifting. We agreed. He did not shifted the place of dish TV but replaced it at the same place 6 inches beneth the previous position. He did not paid attention to us and we paid his Rs.350. We have receipt of Rs.350 with us.

                                    We have companied in customer care on 24.10.09 (complaint No.[protected] the complaint was attended on help desk by Mr.Manoj.

                                    2nd time again complained was requested on 26.10.09 and they inform that complaint complaint has been forwarded to seniors for further action in this regard.

                                    3rd time complaint was again booked vide complaint No.30217571 to Mr.Kaitar Singh.
                                    and he has assured to forward it to Seniors
                                    4th time it was again booked vide complaint No.30217571 was received by Mrs.Aradhana
                                    .

                                    5th time it was again booked vide complaint No. 30393961 to Mr.Eklawa

                                    No action has been done in this regard 5th time Mr.Reshavh on 06.11.2009 vide complaint No.30704512.

                                    Till date no action has been taken in this regard. I am again requesting you to get it replaced in one week time otherwise I will file a suit against your company on consumer form and highlight the above case in the leading newspapers and media

A gentleman came put the required cable and went back hastily as the common rooftop was closed and we took a few minutes for arranging the keys. After that its week now no body has turned up despite our several reminders. It is one of the most pathetic customercare system I have come across.                                     Dish TV — not completed job after getting full payment

                                    I bought an upgrade of my present Dish TV to HD from Ambience Mall at Gurgaon on[protected] with a promise that my present subscription will be transferred to the new VC Number and quick installation. After numurous reminders they delivered the SET TOP BOX on[protected] and installation on[protected].
                                    Since than I have been calling their customer support and the dealers to transfer the amount of Rs.3900.00 to the new VC Number account and activate HD channels. I am tired of this and now want to make a complaint so that they return my money with compensation and get a lesson so that other customer should not suffer like me.

                                    You are right.. Even I am facing the same problem. Since 10 days I am calling to Dishtv and nothing happening.. they are not proper responding the call and they are not taking care of their customer. Its one of worst service in South India.

                                    I have been using DishTV since 2 years but from last 2 months I am facing pathetic situation with DishTV.

                                      I bought Dish TV on 27th July 2007. The package said that my complaints could be resolved within 1 year free of cost. in the 2nd week of this month, there was some problem. I called the customer care and tried to get things resolved, but that did not get resolved. Then, I called Perfect Services, Gurgaon who promised to fix my Set Top Box. It is close to 15 days now and my set top box is still with them. I have tried calling them, but to no response. They do not even pick up my phone. Dish TV customer care says that they cannot do anything. The time taken for resolving these issues (which I had enquired at the time of connection) is 3 days. I am deeply distressed. Request your kind help in this regard.

However, within 3 days the Marathi channels disappeared.I contacted Mr. Pimparkar who gave false assuarreces and the problem is still persisting.
