[Resolved]  DishTV — 401 & 402

1. Check Smart Card
2. Insert Smart Card
3. Call dishtv custmar Care
4. Signal Not found min. 3 to 4 hours when ste top box start.
5. Complain No 401 & 2 are problem creatign after 10 to 15 minutes from last five days

i have the same problem. I just installed Dish TV today. Now there's an error 401 and 402 telling me to check my viewing card. Isn't Dish TV supposed to check these things before selling the equipment. Firstly i pay so much for the STB and then I have to go through all the . And it's the first day!!! PLease someone help me out here...
yesterday I had reinstalled my dishtv connection it worked fine till today evening suddenly message is displayed viewing card deactivated and faulty viewing card.
Ihad done all the formalities they asked for but now the VC is deactivated.
Kindly look into the matter and resolve it.
waiting for reply in anticipation.

I was frequently having 402 error. I waited till next recharge date and just previous day called dish TV. They asked me to restart the set top box and it started working.

Now after 10 days of recharging, they are again airing me the 402 error. The initial advertisement just works fine.

Why are you trying to tap my money?

I am planning to change service provider.
