[Resolved] DTDC Courier — items in courier lost | |||
I have sent Sudexo coupons by DTDC Courier worth Rs.[protected]+2000+2200+2200) last week to a friend within Bangalore. He received the courier and when he later opened it found 2 cadbury's dairy milk chocolates in it. It must definetly be done by some person from DTDC. Its been very cleverly done by the person to make sure the weight and dimension match that of 4 sudexo books - so the recepient does not get the doubt. I called up the DTDC office and they say that cover is already opened and they cant do anything now. This is such a disgusting act. What do i do now. How do i get my coupons back? I have called up the next level official and they responded.
They have started an indepth investigation and said would update me by Monday latest.
The problem is we were not aware that Sudexo coupons are not allowed to be sent by DTDC.
Blue Dart and other couriers do allow. So we were under impression that DTDC also allows it.
When we actually gave the cover in Kanakpura branch - we did tell them that contents are Sudexo coupons. But they did not tell us they wont send sudexo coupons as they are restricted. Seems like the lady in the counter is not aware what Sudexo coupons are.
Hope they investigate well and get me my coupons back or atleast refund me the amount instead of coupons. But if they are not willing to do that - i am afraid i dont have enough evidence at the moment on paper to send a notice. But i was told that the Kanakpura branch ppl have accepted that there is a weight difference when dispatched and when recieved and agreed to look into the matter. They said it by word and not on paper. So need to see what we can do if they are not able to help us by investigation.
