I work in a company and my office timing doesn't match with the courier service delivery timing. Today that courier person came to my hostel with out any prior information, when i was in office. As nobody was there to receive they couldn't deliver. After 5 hrs the person in charge called me and started shouting. He was so arrogant & rude. This is not the first time they are behaving like jerks. Many of my colleagues are facing the same problem. It seems like he is doing some charity thing by delivering the mails. He doesn't know how to behave with the costumer. This courier service is DTDC courier service, RAGHUNANDAN DRESS HOUSE, LAXMI BAZAR, NTPC KANIHA, ANGUL, ORISSA. If he doesn't know how to behave he should not run the service.

I am so much discomfort from your corier servise. On 17-04-12 i sended a document with consignment no.C40638820 to the given address -

Till now the courier is not delivered. How much more time it will take??????????????Please deliver it as soon as possible

I am Deependra Kumar Dubey, from "New Dharmshala Road, Ward No-16, Narkatiaganj, West Champaran, Bihar-845455".

I had a consignment to be delivered by Bharti Creations, whose head office is "C/o Subhash Photo World,
Shop No.1-7, Bhave Natya Mandir Campus, Vishnudas Bhave Marg, Sangli - 416416 [ MAHARASHTRA ]".They booked the consignment through DTDC, but after more than 20 days... message was given to me by the sender that my address is not found, hence the consignment has been delivered back to us (Although all of my consignments are delivered on the same address frequently). Anyways I once again messaged my address and requested them to send me the same, therefore they booked the same again through DTDC on 05/04/2012 (consignment no. P[protected] from "Sangli Super Franchisee, Sangli". Now after 16 days of booking, I have not been delivered the same, but their online tracking portal says that the consignment is delivered.

Even after producing the printout to the authorised local agent, their response is so pathetic that I can't afford to utter/say.

Now, I have few questions to be asked.

1. Being in the service industry, Does the company has any standard to follow?
2. How much time is required to deliver a consignment in domestic transit?
3. How can it be possible to put a "delivered tag" for a non-delivered product?
4. Now I am at a loss of Rs. 3 Lacs because of their irresponsible attitude and negligence, Who is going to compensate my loss for the same.
5. Which article of law and the constitution gives the right to play with the public property?

We were using another company for sending courriers before..But we had one consignment which was to be delivered urgently..Since DTDC has got good reputation, so we sent the courrier through them writing all details of recipient and sender including phone numbers. A week passed but the courrier was not received. this greatly affected our reputation with our client who had to receive the courrier. We called and lodged complaint and were told that we will receive call by evening regarding progress..but we did not receive any call...when we called again, we were told that the courrier is lying in their office at destination place and will be delivered by tomorrow.but they did not deliver it. 2 days after when we called again, they said that the receiver has to pick the courrier from their office. Our client went to the office that day and it was closed. he also called on the phone number provided to us but there was no response. the next day, when we called again, they said that the courrier has been returned..We were really embarassed in front of our clients and lost business..
This is pathetic.

I booked a envelop for delivery in Cortalim, Goa. The agent took the booking. When not delivered for many days, the consignment was tracked on internet. It was reveiled that the consignment was returned as "No Service Area". Now while giving return delivery the agent has charged me Rs.80 saying that i have not mentioned contat number on the envelope.

This is pure cheating by agent as he should have checked for service area before booking the consignment. I request to take action againt the company and the agent for cheating the consumer.

DTDC courier service is ridiculous in Kazipet , Warangal Dist (A.P). I wrote an e-mail to DTDC contacts which i availble in there site. No response from any one. PFB the mail sent.

With atmost Grief & Anger i need to write this e-mail (though late) to the DTDC Courier corporate and regional management heads.
This is to bring to your notice that DTDC office located at KAZIPET (Full Address given below) are not delivering the courier at door steps.

I got a call from DTDC office Kazipet regarding my courier D08990752.

To my shock the courier person has asked me to come and collect the courier at office, as they do have facility to deliver at door steps.

My house is located hardly 2 km away from the courier office. If this the plight for the customers who are residing so close, then what will your courier deliver if they are beyond 5 kms -- leave 5 km more then 3 km

This is the 2nd time I had rough incident with the DTDC Kazipet Branch.
On previous occasion (an year ago) also i had to collect my courier in person your office.
I went to your office, with my friend in evening to collect the courier to my surprise my friend did get into brawl with the courier person who was present there as he too faced similar situation 3 months ago.

This sought of service surely cannot be called "Delivering Value"

Please improve your self dignity and shut down your business to impotent franchise.

Hi I have sent a courier from chennai to New York on 30/03/2012 they promised me 3 working days to deliver today is 09/04/2012 till now they haven't deliver to the location numbers printed on the airway bill/invoice says disconnected not in service Corporate Office[protected], 26700714, 26700711, [protected] how can i track the package when number is not in use? Govt should punish them for cheating public

I choose DTDC courier company to courier some important documents from Bangalore to Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh) .On 27th March-2012 I gave them the documents and come back with a promise/commitment from DTDC that it'll be delivered in 72 hours.I checked online that my consignment is not delivered and its returned back to Bangalore DTDC office on 2nd April. The reason is they don't have service/branch in the destination location .i.e. Jagdalpur.

I have following questions/complaints for DTDC :-

1) When they don't have service to certain place then why they are accepting the documents and giving the false commitment ?
2)And on 2nd April-2012 documents reached to there Bangalore office but they don't have courtesy to call me or deliver the documents to my mailing address which is mentioned in the envelop.It seems they are waiting for my call.

Only good thing about DTDC is that you can track your consignment online which let you know that your consignment is not delivered as committed please follow us for your consignment.

Request please take the appropriate action and delivered back my important documents.My consignment number is F06512446 and contact number is [protected]

Dear Sir/Madam.
I have sent one courier to Bangalore on 22nd Mar 2012 , Shipment No.: P18608319, i have given 2 mobile number in that packet, they have not called in that number , status updated RTO DUE TO NO SUCH NUMBER.
After that i am calling customer care, they are giving different contact number of different office, They are saying giving return back the courier today only. till today i am not received the courier back.

Please take necessary action and return back the courier to me.

I have sent a courier on 1312012 to LIC India , Chennai from Bangalore . The letter is undelivered , but it is not returned back to me . Their tracking site says the letter sent back to their bangalore Whitefield DTDC office. reported the issue to them more than 2 weeks back and following every single day since then bu there is no response. I have emailed to every single email address mentioned in their website but no is responding .It is a very important letter which i got signed by sending a letter to Japan . Now if this is not delivered , i cant take a new one and by the time the policy will lapse.No one is understanding the seriousness , no response to emails . Phone is always busy or not answered , when answered they say they will get back but they havent till now .I am very frustrated and i might lose a lot of money because of this .

Dear Gagan,

As discussed , this is the last mail which I have received from you office and in this whole series, no where the attachment is attached .

My concern is not the "DRS" but the actual truth is that following parcel is not delivered to the consignee.I hope you should take attention regarding the "intent" rather then making the POD or DRS available.

I have been following you with lot of people (Grewal, Kapil, Suman, Prachi, shamaya and now you )from past two days and it really a surprise that you people are not able to make the POD available nor you are able to deliver the parcel and nor you are taking an accountability that it has been lost .

Please note that now this is the last chance I am giving it you people and if POD would not be made available to be by EOD 2day , then I need the amount of my parcel to be reimbursed which is Rs.1000/-

I am also making this mail to consumer affairs for further action and records , as it seems impossible by you and your team to deliver the said commitments .

DTDC Metro Plus Courier Claims NEXT BUSINESS DAY WITH MONEY BACK GUARANTEE Delivery and Charges EXTRA for the Same.

But when it come to meeting its claims,Its miles away from Reality.
As it happened in my case.
I had booked an extremely Urgent courier consisting of Important papers from Bangalore (Whitefield DTDC,Mahadevpura) on Friday 02 Dec 2011 via DTDC METRO Plus service but it was not Delivered until 6th December 2011 (Tuesday Morning) at Kolkata.

Which is after 3 business days. This delay has caused me a unprecedented FINANCIAL Losses, MENTAL TRAUMA and HARASSMENT.

When i submitted the claim form for getting a refund on the same in December 2nd Week itself, DTDC seems to have overlooked the same and even after 2 months they have not made any effort to rectify their mistake and keep up their promise on Returning the money if the Next Business Day Delivery is breached.

on 17 feb 2012 one courier(r[protected] has been dispatched to my home address...but it was blank..i missed my mobile of rs 4000...i complaint to dtdc branch here ..but nobody is here taking responsibilty...nobody is even listening me...courier was open..franchise holder mr ajay..is not picking up my ph.....i am really upset..kindly do me a favour as soon as posible....tanx

Delivered to RANCHI on 16-02-12 was unwrapped and contents were missing, As the contents were important to be their destiny, complain is also about the bad practice by the company staff, for such illegal behavior with personal package.

My project report was sent to XLRI, Jamshedpur by DTDC courier on 9th Feb vide document number B80078626. Courier booking receipt also mentions address as XLRI, Jamshedpur. But when i checked online today, surprised to see the details as delivered at Hubli. I tried calling several numbers of DTDC but their employees are not responding well. Moreover last date of submitting this report is on 15th Feb 2012. Now i lost my deadline also.

Sir I have sent a consignment (consignment number A[protected] through DTDC courier from Mundra (Gujarat) branch on 21 Jan 2012 for Rishikesh(Uttaranchal), i have check track detail in the DTDC web site which showing consignment have reached in the Rishikesh to Mr Rahul Vishnoi, 125, CCMC, Maniram road Rishikesh area on 23 Jan. 2012. But till date I have not recived my consignment, I have talked to Hundrad times in the DTDC Delivery Branch even their Customer Care (Delhi) from bottom to top level person , and i did many mail to Customer care also but till date not got any feed beck from their side, sir i am too worry and disappointment to follow up to him, PLEASE help me its much importent and urgent .... I am waiting of your help with hope.

I have done some online shopping from YEBHI and my shipment was sent by AFL courier from GURGAON to MOGA (Airway bill number: [protected]). But there service was not available in Moga region so they sent my courier through DTDC from LUDHIANA to MOGA (DTDC CC NO.- Z[protected]. As I ordered a wrong size so YEBHI helpline said me to refuse to accept the courier and I did the same on Nov 24,2011. Till now the courier has not been sent back and I am unable to trace the courier. DTDC site is showing DELIVERED status. I have enquired from MOGA office about courier, they said that they have returned it to LUDHIANA office[protected], [protected]).But still I am unable to trace it .I have been calling LUDHIANA office (Mr. Batra) from last three months but did not get any positive response.Every time Mr. Batra will say that your case has been forwarded to Delhi office so wait for few days. Please look into the matter deeply and take a quick action as more than three months have passed in this issue and I am having a lot of inconvenience.
I will be waiting for you positive response. I have also attached a jpeg file of my email correspondence with company. But after that no reply has come from their side.

I booked product from Infibeam on Jan 17th, it was shipped to Gurgaon (Shipping address) on Jan 18th from Mumbai to Gurgaon by DTDC courier company. Shipment reached DTDC Delhi office on Jan 21st and on the same it was sent to DTDC gurgaon franchisee. This was the last update on DTDC Tracking website. Since that time (Jan 21st) there was no updates and no records. I contacted DTDC customer care after 2 days about this and registered complaint...

A courier (consignment no. Z[protected] had been sent from Delhi to Erode on Jan 24th for me. But till now I didn’t received that courier. When I checked the status, it is mentioned as ‘RTO in transit due to out of service’.

BUT MY HOME IS JUST 6KMS FROM YOUR ERODE BRANCH OFFICE. IF THEY CANT DELIVERY A COURIER FOR A DISTANCE JUST 6 KM FROM YOUR OFFICE, THEN WHY SHOULD THEY RUN A COURIER COMPANY?

IF THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING SERVICE AT DELIVERY ADDRESS, THEN WHY SHOULD THEY BOOKED IT AND WASTING OUR TIME AND MONEY?

MY MOB NO IS MENTIONED IN THE ENVELOPE, BUT I DIDN’T GET ANY CALL REGARDING IT. IF THOSE GUYS INFORMED ME, I WOULD GO TO THEIR OFFICE & GET MY COURIER. BUT THEY DIDN’T DO IT.

I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED ON THEIR SERIVCE.

CUSTOMER SATISFICATION IS VERY IMPORTANT IN ANY BUSINESS. BUT THEY ARE NOT AT ALL SATISFYING THEIR CUSTOMERS.

THEY ARE LOSING THEIR CUSTOMERS BECAUSE OF WORST WORST WORST SERVICE / MANAGEMENT.
