I booked product from Infibeam on Jan 17th, it was shipped to Gurgaon (Shipping address) on Jan 18th from Mumbai to Gurgaon by DTDC courier company. Shipment reached DTDC Delhi office on Jan 21st and on the same it was sent to DTDC gurgaon franchisee. This was the last update on DTDC Tracking website. Since that time (Jan 21st) there was no updates and no records. I contacted DTDC customer care after 2 days about this and registered complaint...

A courier (consignment no. Z[protected] had been sent from Delhi to Erode on Jan 24th for me. But till now I didn’t received that courier. When I checked the status, it is mentioned as ‘RTO in transit due to out of service’.

BUT MY HOME IS JUST 6KMS FROM YOUR ERODE BRANCH OFFICE. IF THEY CANT DELIVERY A COURIER FOR A DISTANCE JUST 6 KM FROM YOUR OFFICE, THEN WHY SHOULD THEY RUN A COURIER COMPANY?

IF THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING SERVICE AT DELIVERY ADDRESS, THEN WHY SHOULD THEY BOOKED IT AND WASTING OUR TIME AND MONEY?

MY MOB NO IS MENTIONED IN THE ENVELOPE, BUT I DIDN’T GET ANY CALL REGARDING IT. IF THOSE GUYS INFORMED ME, I WOULD GO TO THEIR OFFICE & GET MY COURIER. BUT THEY DIDN’T DO IT.

I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED ON THEIR SERIVCE.

CUSTOMER SATISFICATION IS VERY IMPORTANT IN ANY BUSINESS. BUT THEY ARE NOT AT ALL SATISFYING THEIR CUSTOMERS.

THEY ARE LOSING THEIR CUSTOMERS BECAUSE OF WORST WORST WORST SERVICE / MANAGEMENT.

I AM NOT SURE WHAT VALUE DOES DTDC HAS FOR INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS. AS FEEDBACK FORM ASKS FOR ORGANISATION NAME,WHICH MAKE ME THINK THAT INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS ARE NOT VALUED. WELL THIS IS NOT MY EXACT PROBLEM. I HAVE SENT A COURIER USING DTDC SO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND PATHETIC COURIER SERVICE AGAINST REFFF: B77883338 ON JANUARY 24TH 2012, IT HAS YET NOT BEEN DISPATCHED TO THE DESTINATION, WHERE I CAN SEE AS PER THE ONLINE TRACKING , IT REACHED JHANSI ON 27TH JANUARY 2012 BUT NOT DELIVERED YET, IS DTDC TEAM THERE TRYING TO FETCH EGSS OUT OF IT. THEN I RAISED A COMPLAINT AGINST REFF:FDB0080513, NO ONE BOTHERED TO REVERT. DON'T WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY CONSIGNMENT, WHETHER IT WILL BE DELIVERED OR NOT. I WOULD HAVE RATHER SENT IT THROUGH NORMAL POST AND SAVED MONEY RATHER THAN PAYING DTDC FOR QUICK DELIVERIES, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED BY NOW FOR SURE. I DON'T KNOW WHY DTDC IS SPENDING SO MUCH ON CUSTOMER SERVICE MEASURES, WHEN THEY DO NOT HAVE CONTROL ON CORE BUSINESS. WELL I AM A CUSTOMER AND CANNOT RESIST MYSELF WRITING THIS LONG MAIL AND I KNOW THERE WILL BE NO REPSONSES FOR THIS EVEN. THIS IS SO DISGRACEFUL ON GROUPS LIKE ADAG.
VERY POOR AND PATHETIC EXPERIENCE, OVER THAT EVEN THE NUMBERS GIVEN ON THE WEBSITE ARE NOT WORKING AND THE FUNNIEST PART IS THAT THERE CORPORATE OFFICE NUMBERS ARE RINGING NO ONE PICKING UP THE PHONE< BECAUSE THEY KNOW SOMEONE WILL BE THERE ON THE OTHER SIDE TO TALK ABOUT THEIR PATHETIC SERVICES

I would like to complaint against DTDC for replacement of Nokia Mobile (Model No 5130 Music Xpress IMEI [protected] WITH 2GB memory card) by DTDC Delhi during transit.
In this connection I would like to inform that the above mobile was booked from AWWA BASE HOSPITAL BALI NGR, DELHI(Branch code ZL4975) vide DTDC consignment No Z[protected] no 5thOct 2010 for delivery to Smt Babita Rasaily, Vill Upper Siru Bari, Post Kueseong, Dist Darjeeling, PIN 734203. (West Bengal). The above packed item received in presence of DTDC Kurseong and found that the packed was in a improper condition. It was repacked and mobile was replaced with old reliance cdma mobile which was unserviceable. That’s way I left that parcel at DTDC Kurseong.
So, in this connection, I complaint to DTDC Corporate office Bangalore. After long time they ready to investigate the matter. Investigation officer was Mr. Shivam. After long investigation DTDC Delhi HO Mr. Surender Singh Dager sent me a clam form, then after I sent back a claim form along with original mobile bill, original DTDC consignment receipt and Declaration(Invoice) copy. Then DTDC Delhi forwarded these documents to corporate office through Mr. Surender Singh. After few weeks DTDC Delhi HO informed me that your claim has been refused by corporate office Bangalore and case will be solve by DTDC Delhi HO and we will provide your claim amount as soon as possible. But unfortunately till this day they did not. I made several call to Delhi HO, but I got same reply. Finally DTDC Delhi HO said that we are not able to solve your problem. I request to return my original all documents but Delhi HO returned only Xerox copy

While booking the consignment P 17738832 on 19.01.2012 Navipeth ( PUNE ) office has confirmed that the consignment will be delivered within 3-4 days to the mentioned address.Last two I had been tracking this consignment sent from Navipeth to Yeola Dist Nashik

I surprised today when , Pune Head office lady has arrogantly told me that DTDC don’t deliver consignments to PIN – 423401, mentioned in the consignee address on DTDC booking slip.

DTDC is not taking any efforts to contact Consignor & Consignee (both the valid numbers are available with DTDC), and communicate. My Document is missing, I feel this is very irresponsible behavior from a reputed service provider.

Now I am giving you the description of cheating stuff done by one of your DTDC outlet. I booked one courier on 19th of January 2012 from Begusarai DTDC outlet via (Consignment number K[protected]. The outlet person told that it will take maximum 48 hour to reach the destination as he will be sending it via DTDC plus," A special service of DTDC" with following features http://dtdc.in/subpages/products/DTDCplus.html . He asked me to pay for Rs : 120/- for the same . I did the same as he told. But when I tracked the status of packet on 21st of January , it was showing the booking date as 20th of January. Still I was waited to get deliver the packet. But on 22nd also it didn't get deliver. When I checked the receipt given by outlet person I came to know he booked it via DTDC Lite service and did the fraud job for taking money from me .

I also like to mention the weight of packet will be approximate less then 20 grams. When it was not even delivered on 23rd I meet the outlet person again , Now he made a new excuses that delay is because of nonavailability of DTDC outlet in receiver area (Pin code -500046) while I personally know it's there.

Now my question is :
i ) Why DTDC people asked me to pay for 120 rupees while for metro city(Hyderabad) it costs only rupees 70 /- . (http://www.dtdc.in/subpages/services/tariff.html)
ii) Why did he lie that he is sending by DTDC Plus service and it will get deliver within 48 hour ( delivery will be on or before 21st of January) as it was containing interview call letter ( I mentioned the same with outlet person) . Please let me tell who is responsible for this unexpected loss in career growth.

iii) Should I think that DTDC also keep the person who can cheat so better should not use for next time ?

Dear Sir,

An envelope through DTDC courier was send from Eranakulam on 20/1/12 (POD No R[protected] to my residence address at Kollengodu Palakkad but the courier had not delivered at the address. Unfortunately, they had called me and told to collect from their office located at the outskirts of Kollengodu town. When questioned the owner started to threaten me (Through phone, time 6:49 pm - solid proof hahaha) saying no courier from this centre will be delivered to me at my address (behind Kollengodu Palace, which is 1 km & as per PWD it is 0) in future or if it comes it will be destroyed, Is he only a franchise of DTDC or the CEO who take decision autonomously for DTDC? Now I feel ashamed that, I approached DTDC for my services rather than other couriers, who are operating from the heart of town and are decently behaved. Please do replay is it fare...

We had given an important document to DTDCcourier Prabhadevi Branch for local destination(Details as below) on14th Dec2011,and Rs.20 was charged as courier charges

We were shocked to know that the document did not reached to its destination ,on the contrary no one bothered to inform us regarding the same.We came to knew on 21st Dec2011 ,that also when we enquired at DTDC prahbadevi branch.Also the person refuse to pay back our courier charges saying it is companies policy, and that we have to give him written complain. We were not informed that the courier doesn’t go at that place otherwise we would not have given the important document to DTDC courier company.?
We would like to claim the losses incurred because of their negligency and also refund our courier charges.
We feel sad and are disappointed to know that the courier of such high reputation can do this kind of things.
We had also given them written complain letter on 22/12/2011.and tried to follow up but in vain.
Again we went at their office they gave us one mobile number Name Beena Madame (mobile no.[protected]) from dtdc and asked us to talk with her,but she is never pick up her mobile.

Please look into the matter and do needful

MOST CORRUPTED SERVICE

I had a worst experience with DTDC,i have lost my 1500rs worth parcel I don't know whether i get any justice after this complaint,but people who visit this forum should get aware of these cheaters.

If these people come in front of me,i don't even bother to blast them with all bad words.

Even if you complaint to customer support they are the most...

I posted a letter to the Branch Manager, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Baraut, Distt. Baghpat, on 7th of Jan. 2012 through the franchisee of DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd., Dilip Enterprizes, Sector 4B, Mark Mall, Vasundhara Ghaziabad (UP), vide their Receipt No. (CN No.) *Z52523555*. Today, the 11th of Jan. 2012, I telephonically came to know from the addressee that the letter in question stands undelivered so far. I am surprised and rather shocked to know that a courier company like DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd. whose advertising suggests and rather claims that you are faster and better than most of the courier companies operating in India, as regards to the customer service. I am writing this letter to complain in the strongest terms about the poor service that I have received from this company. The letter in question was very important and urgent for my bank transactions. Moreover, the man sitting on the counter had assured me that the letter would be positively delivered on Monday, the 9th instant. I hope you will look into the matter and ask the company to take necessary action against their above said franchisee to see that either the said letter is delivered within next 24 hours or the same is returned to me along with the refund of the courier charge worth Rs 30/-.

I sent some of the important document to Bangalore through the DTDC courier service, Chandivali branch, Mumbai on 23rd December. Today is 5th Jan 2012, my documents have not been reached to the spot. I enquired and found that “RTO” was written in the status. When I called DTDC customer care number they replied that “we cannot do anything, you cal that respective branch”. I called that Chandivali branch and after asking several times a person replied very rudely that this has become “RTO”, as there is no person with this name in Bangalore. Bangalore is my native and my parents are staying there in that address. I requested them to send it back at least, they roughly replied me that its in Goregaon (Mumbai) branch, if comes then we will see.

I have been in Hyderabad, Bnagalore , Delhi and now in Mumbai, but this Mumbai DTDC is really providing a worst service to consumers by cheating them. I am shocked by their fraud service here, perhaps they have gone down and already lost their reputation in India. They are just playing with customers in a very irresponsible way but we are helpless. The only way left is switch to other good services. But since its related to important documents now I am ready to approach court or since I am in media I will definitely try to drag them to press. Thank god Blue Dart is there.

i had couriered one cloth and Electric Heater through DTDC Courier from pune(Maharashtra) to Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh) but the one item (cloth) is stolen in between and only electric equipment is delivered.this is surprising that the courier provider can not take care on the consignment and take no responsibility of the stole item after charging a big amount.

request if some one can help in this regards and suggest how it can be recovered.

Dear Courier Service Provider,

I received a parcel of computer system (along with LCD monitor) from the tirupati to the following address.
B-205,VSRC,IIT Kharagpur, Westbengal, which I ordered through my relatives.

I got the parcel in very horrible conditions. LCD monitor is damaged completely and system is opened and lost few components like dvd writer, System is in very pathetic condition.

Before sending, it was notified that computer system is in good condition.

I need a compensation of my damaged PC failing which I would like to lodge a complaint against the DTDC in the local consumer court for it's carelessness about delivering the electronic goods.

I wish to meet the concerned person in the franchise office to discuss about this matter.

Mitashi Edutainment said to me not to deliver this DTDC parcel.

I have many times request to DTDC Courier, Durga Chowk, Akola, I have SCAN or Hard Copy of POD, but DTDC Courier not to respons since a week.

I have send email request a Mumbai DTDC, DTDC Custmer Care on 21/12/11 for POD, but they also same thing.

Dear Sir Mr.Yasin Shikalgar was sent a letter on 6th May from Medchal, Hydrabad,A.P. to Mr.Vikas Jain(ME), Indore, Bengali Square, CN No H84555462. but, i had not received the same but the status is delivered in your website. I want the scan copy of the delivery report which mention the sign and mobile no of the receiver. If you could not prove the signature of the receiver then your courier company will be soley responsible for the loss of courier.
there after i complain to branch located at kannadia road , then they reply his agent dispatch at home .when i meet with agent and say pls show where you dispatch the consignment then he show me POD but it is not sign by any my family member and it could not mentioned mobile no of receiver .after that he reply i am not coming your home for dispatch but i wrongly dispatch on other location -and say i will search , other wise i will give you FIR letter regarding this.but after continue feedback agent always not given proper answer ,after 3 month completed he reply following letter matter is very old i could not do any for this.
it consignment contain my maruti alto original key( one) . it will require by me continue so i had makes a duplicate key from market for rs 1500/- . so kindly consider the following case and reply me with proper solution. thanking you.

sir ,,i had ordered the consignment for bagskart through online,,and they sent it through DTDC COURIER NO-Z48874432,,on 30 th november 2011,,,but till now that is 12 th of december 2011,,,i enquired for the delay 4 to 5 times,,,i didnt get satisfactory reply,,,instead the faculty in the hospet dtdc courier carelessly,,irresponsibly,,without any accountability sidetacked it,,,,the faculty didnot even have the human values to respect the customer,,i even told that i would report to the higher authorities but they casually neglected saying you can do so,,,,i even complained to the DTDC complaint forum no--details are -CFD0051291,,,I KINDLY NEED THE JUSTICE SIR

I was expecting a parcel from Hyderabad which was dispatched on the 22nd of Nov' 2011 and till date i have not received my parcel as yet. I have a feeling that this delay lies with the DTDC service in Gauhati / Guwahati because another parcel dispatched on the 29th of Nov' 2011, again from Hyderabad, was received today, i.e., the 3rd of Dec' 2011, after we had called up the Gauhati / Guwahati office yesterday. Gauhati / Guwahati is a transit point for us living in Kohima, Nagaland, and most delays occur in the city. The person receiving the phone told us that a parcel was with them and would be sent obviously because we had called up inquiring about it. Attempts to call up the same office to inquire about the other parcel went unanswered ([protected]). My issues here are:

1. Do we have to call up the courier to inquire if there are parcels for us lying with them?
2. The parcel i received today was tampered with and partially open, why?
3. Why the inordinate delay despite the fact that it was dispatched 11 (eleven) days ago?

I got an Courier which should be delivered to my office address. But the admin in office has informed the courier company tat personal couriers should not be delivered in despatch section of office. So the courier company has sent a text message to my mobile number which was not delivered on time. So the DTDC courier in charge has sent back the courier to head office which is very far away from my place. When i asked regarding the courier , the owner is just telling tat i have forwarded back the courier. When i asked from which address the courier has come, she is tellingi dont know. She didnt even tell me the Courier Track number which is an irresponsible reply to a customer. When i asked about her that the courier boys could have called me and informed me. But she is telling cant call and waste the balance. I asked her that you could have atleast given me a missed call and i would have called back. But she said we cant call each and every customer and just cut the call. Again i called several times. But she was disconnecting the call. This is the poor service provided by DTDC courier. Finally i suggest having such in charge person will definitely spoil the name and fame of the courier Org.Please take appropriate action. The branch of the DTDC is below.

Hi,

After a very very frustrating last few days, with no options left, I have to pen down this frustration to complain forum.
I had sent courier through DTDC Courier Services from Mumbai to Gorakhpur (U.P.) on 15th November 2011.
Consignment number is M68714359.

Courier was supposed to be delivered by 18th November evening however it is still in transit even after 6 days.
This courier was for my brother who is working in IAF and was leaving Gorakhpur on 21st November Morning.
Only after getting verbal confirmation from DTDC representative that they can deliver it by 18th Nov, I had couriered it through DTDC.
Now my brother has left for Jodhpur and he has already missed this consignment.

Also, whenever I am calling DTDC customer care, they are asking me to contact different branches in Mumbai, Delhi and Gorakhpur and only response I am getting from these branches is that they have dispatched it from Delhi or they have not received it in Gorakhpur.

Please take very strong action against these guys as they are typical example of sheer unprofessionalism and careless handling of loyal customers.
