[Resolved] DTDC Express Courier — Delay in service

Horrible Horrible service by DTDC department I got express courier booked for parcel from Bangalore to Gurgaon on 4th June, 2013 and needed it to be delivered urgently.Hence paid 200Rs to get fast express courier.As per the assurance of the DTDC service it was supposed to reach on 5th June, 2013 to Gurgaon. >>>>However, there was no sign of the courier on 5th June and status was conveniently updated as "House locked and MIS ROUTE" .Not sure how both together is possible even though the recipient was available at home 24 hours on 5th/6th June >>>>I spoke to customer care on 5th June and they assured me it will be delivered on 6th June by afternoon . >>>> 6th June, same story.No courier delivered and status was still updated as "MIS ROUTE". >>>> After mutilple reminders by me on 6th June, customer care conveniently delayed the delivery for 7th June. Due to the delay, the damage was already done . Like I said, the parcel was URGENT , the only option left was - my recipient had to collect it personally on 7th morning from the DTDC office WHAT a SHAME!! COURIER service needs to be RELIABLE, which clearly does not seem to be your motive! If it cannot be delivered in 1 day by the express courier, please stop this service . I'll never ever get my courier delivered from DTDC after this experience and will share this with all my friends so that they dont have to experience what I had gone through. DTDC — Delayed service

These people just don't have any regard for time and urgency of the situation. The employees open the office (or I should say some fish market) around 10:30 to 10:45AM then they don't have any records organized in any manner. The customer service is worst, don't have any manners to talk at all! I would like to warn everyone not to use this courier at any cost, not even for free.

Courier — delay in service

Overnite express couriers promise to deliver my important document to anna university,Channai on 10/10/11,but that was delivered on 11/10/11.

My application form is canceled.

Pl tell me what to do?

I had booked a Courier thru DTDC on express service by paying extra for next day delivery with miney back guarantee.

But the courier got delivered after 3 days.

Bad bad behaviour by the courier office.

delay and loss items

I send parcel on april 22 then it delivered on april 29 and in that parcel my friend loss some important items which are send by me...there is no response from their land line numbers ...
