On 18th December 2013, I sent a a package from Bangalore to Havelock. The people at the Bangalore office said delivery will be possible for the pincode 744211. Please note I confirmed the delivery to the pincode before sending the package. The total cost for sending the package to Havelock came to Rs. 800/- which I paid and I was assured that the package will be delivered, within 5-6 days. I also gave time for Christmas holiday in between. Please note that the package had reached Portblair. It has been sitting there for the past 3-4 days and the concerned person Mr. Subrata ([protected]) over there is refusing to send it to Havelock. His tone is that the consignee has to go to Portblair and pick it up. Please also note - I paid the fare from Bangalore to Havelock - for which I paid an exorbitant amount. When intimated the same to this Mr. Subrata ([protected]) - his exact reply was this "Why should I care when it is supposed to reach? You did not pay the money to me you paid it to the Bangalore office. Talk to them. It is not my headache" Please explain me this - whose headache is it? Who should I complain to? Will I be refunded the amount? Will my package be sent back to me - so that I can send it through a more reliable courier service? I think this Mr. Subrata ([protected]) - has actually stolen the contents of my package - therefore he is not willing to send it to Havelock. What other explanation could there be?

    DTDC Courier... WORST service provider and PATHETIC customer care.

    Facts:
    AWB no. F07823255 dated 12-Nov-2013

    Booked a consignment through DTDC 1st time from Bangalore to Delhi. When the consignment reached Delhi, ITEMS WERE MISSING...

    Now, Instead of finding the culprit and taking some strict actions against that person, customer care is blaming me. Although they new that the material was short delivered because there was difference of weight i.e. weight at the time of booking and weight at the time of delivering.
    But they are not at all bothered about the compliant...

    What a service this company is proving... Pathetic!..
    Believe me, a beggar is honest then them at least he is asking the money and not stealing.
    DTDC guys are stealing the things from their customer's consignment...

    Customer care is shameless. Don't have any respect for the work and customers.
    Its the worst of all... not responding to the mails or calls. WOW...

    Please help me... i[censored] can... I feel like helpless and harassed.

      Hello, I am from bangalore, had ordered an item from a seller in Delhi (online) who had in turn sent it with DTDC courier services, the delivery service is so crap that i tried calling the customer no one picks the call, i even tried calling the Bangalore DTDC office but no one picks up! The delivery date was Thu, Dec, 19, 2013 10:00 AM but till now i don't have any information about this consignment. I tried lodging a complaint but there is no complaint number. I am failing to understand how does this company even alive. Please Help !!         DTDC claims they have delivered my package, but are refusing to show me proof of delivery. The DTDC # is B01467409, the tracking does not indicate whom it was delivered to. The consignment was return parcel to Myntra, it was a t-shirt. The tracking number says delivered, but Myntra says not received. Been asking them for proof of delivery, in this sequence: -Mailed they Bangalore email id on 18 Nov with no response for few days. -Called their HQ number:[protected]. They pick 1 in 10 calls. They gave me some number of one person at Madiwala office who picks up the phone and hangs up. That number was[protected]. -After this non response called them back at HQ and they gave me another email id. -Mailed them at CSS.[protected]@dtdc.com on 23 Nov and again on 25th Nov since I got no reply. They replied on 25/11/2013. Just arbid sorry, inconvenience regretted and blah blah and the action was they said the same person in madiwala (the girl who hangs up on calls!) and asked her to look into the case. -28Nov: Mailed and asked for updates since I have not heard anything. -29 Nov: Mailed and asked for updates since I have not heard anything. -30 Nov: Got another regret for the inconvenience mail, bear with us with no timeline to close this, no one ready to take onus or proper action. Just copy pasting from we are sorry mails is their definition of customer care. -6 Dec: No updates, still. Sent a mail telling them they really trying to con the consumers. I have connected via facebook also and again called their landline. Its 16 Dec - I was promised resolution on Friday (13 Dec) and I have still not heard from them.

          Dear Sir/Mam I am writing this mail to bring to your notice the gross negligence committed by the personnel of your centre at Sector 35 Chandigarh and others despite the assurance given to me at the time of booking the consignment to Australia. We had approached the mentioned centre on 09/11/2013 for shipping valuable and fragile articles to Australia which were very expensive too. We had repeatedly stressed upon the utmost care to be taken while sending them and had been given assurance by the staff that the things would be delivered without breakage. We believed in their statements and that proved to be a big mistake. We paid Rs 25680/- vide ID no N 94979254 as charges (including Fumigation certificate charges) in the hope that spending this much money would securely deliver the things but firstly there was a problem at the customs office as the shipment got held up and when finally delivered to my brother-in-law in Melbourne, most of the articles were badly broken. One can imagine the harrasment and agony that they must have felt on seeing that. They immediately called us and informed about this. Also they clicked few photographs of the things which are attached alongwith. I just want to ask - Was taking services of DTDC the biggest mistake that we have done and whether your name in the market is a name only? Why I should not go to consumer court for this? Who is accountable for this kind of negligent service? Will any action be taken against them? As regards my compensation, I know I would get it anyways, If not directly then through the legal route. But before taking that step, I would seek an adequate response from your side. Looking forward to an urgent redressal from your side, Dr Kapil Chopra [protected]

            I have sent my parcel via dtdc on 2nd of december and on 9th of december I was informed that It has been sent and will reach youtill 14 of December. I have parcelled my things from kolkata (Behala Parnasree) MD Bussiness Service (pin-700060) to Durg (491001). But till today It has not reached me. I am calling all the possible contact numbers of DTDC but no response from anyside.

              Hi i am Abhilash. NSDL has sent a PAN card of my sister in law vide consignment no. X05481144 through DTDC courier on 15.11.2013 which have not delivered to me. When i went to inquire the same to the DTDC office they told 2 different reasons - 1) Due to bulk consignment and strict time schedule to deliver it is tough to deliver and 2) Probably NSDL has not mentioned full address so we could not deliver. When i asked about non communication on phone they told phone no. was not available on the document sent by NSDL. They have sent back the consignment on 19.11.2013. However recently i discovered they have given the reason for returning the consignment that Consignee was not available at the address. They have blamed me regarding non delivery which is a lie. Now i want to complain against them so that they become more accontable. How can i proceed. Please help me and Guide me on the issue.

                Had not received the item but the tracking status is showing the item as delivered. Had tried contacting the local courier servicemen( Venu [protected]) and the boy who delivered the item ( Kishore) . But they are give very irresponsible answers. Once they are saying the itemwas given to your neighbours, other time they are saying we gave it your watch men. Finally they are saying we dont remember and are not even answering our calls. Plz sort out the issue . Loosing trust in DTDC !                   DTDC is so unreliable courier. Send important urgent document on 18th Nov 2013 and still out for delivery. MOHAN CO-OPERATIVE BRANCH, DELHI -Called atleast 5 times, send address SMS, still no response, no body knew what to do next. Called their cetral number atleast 10 times, no resoution. Un professional, un reliable company. Who will be paying for orginal document? any answer ? or this is message to us not to use DTDC in your lifetime and spred this news to community.

                    Sir/Madam, My daughter had couriered a Samsung TV (consignment number: D[protected] & a microwave oven from Bangalore to Kochi on 08.03.13. She had paid the courier charges. 2% insurance and 4% receipt charges of the product. This was the premium insurance for full repayment in case of damage to the product. The product cost was Rs. 27900. The courier arrived at Kochi on 11.03.13 (12:45pm). The delivery people left even before the pack was opened and checked. But unfortunately when the pack was opened the new TV was totally shattered. Attached are the images of the broken LED TV. It was really saddening to see as we did not expect this from a professional courier like DTDC. It was a gift to me from her and this incident was really disappointing. This was in-spite of repeatedly stating to be careful and the product was new and still encased in the Samsung TV cover itself. The money invested on the TV was very crucial and the gift was very precious. When I rang Mr. Patil who works for DTDC, Bangalore, gave me the contact number of Mr. Mohan R., DTDC Bangalore. When I called him, he told me to send the photos of TV. My daughter emailed him the photos. Then they asked for docket number(consignment number) and she mailed them that too. After that they stopped responding. After calling repeatedly, Mr. Mohan asked us to call Samsung and make an estimate of level of damage. We did the same and Samsung emailed the estimate to DTDC. Then Mr. Mohan offered us to pay for repairing the TV. But that was not acceptable because my daughter had paid for a new TV, rather repaired. So we didn't agree to Mr. Mohan and asked him to act more. But since then he never responded and if he answered the call, he would hung up. Last month, when I went to Bangalore, and talked to him, he said the consignment number doesn't exist in their database. It was quite schocking and disappointing. We then went to Kochi DTDC and inquired about this consignment number. They said that they keep the database only for 90 days. We don't know what to do now. If they keep data only for 3 months, then why did Mr. Mohan dragged us for 8 months. It's been a real mental torture.

                        Dear Sir, I had visited a DTDC courier's franchisee at Anisabad, Patna, on18.11.2013, as I had to send a passport for visa to one of my friends at kolkata. It was an urgent issue so I opted for the premium services which ensures delivery within 24 hours. But it is so unfortunate that more than 48 hours has crossed and the consignment is in transit. I had paid Rs.155/-for this premium services called DTDC PLUS vide consignment NUMBER - V14147102.                         I booked a courier for NABHA CANTT-PATIALA(PUNJAB) through DTDC COURIER & CARGO LTD, BILLEKAHALLI--BF 828, BANGALORE ---CONSIGNMENT NOTE NO:- B07586334 DATED 21/01/2014, It is shameful & disgraceful for your company to deliver the courier on 27th of january 2014, It has taken 7 days for you to deliver the courier.Please explain me what is the meaning of courier, The service provided by your company is going day by day, if this trend continues then your company has no future because this type of experiance is 2nd instance for me during last 6 months. The first instance being the courier sent by me to MHOW----your Company website also does not provide the correct information, If I could have option, I will give your company worse rating, I request you donot force the consumer to lodge a report in police station as well as in consumer court because your company always tells the consumer that the courier will be delivered on the third day, If your company is straightforward in telling that courier will reach its destination within 7 days, then no question of compliant arises against your company, I request you to acknowledge this comment & if you have any reply in this matter, reply me accordingly, My EMAIL Iis [protected]@gmail.comS

                          My tracking number was D15800042 and sent an old TV through the courier service. The person told no need of any insurance and our service is very good. His words were "Bhagwaan ka naam lo aur bhej do". The TV reached in multiple pieces and is of no use now. Now when I call him for right process for claim settlement he says "how can the TV be broken if the outside is fine". Sir, its the same way if someone poisons u and u die even if your outside is fine. As expected DTDC people keep my phone on hold all the time.

                            worst courier service, I have sent courier from Hyderabad to Bangalore (V[protected]. It has been opened and some of the items removed from my courier. they did not hand over to concern person hand, just delivered in address. They have used knife to open parcel at bottom and pasted back. Please don't use DTDC if you are sending valuables.

                              My DTDC Courier B03366890 containing one saree and T-Shirt worth 4000/- was stolen by them. Their office could not give any trace of the courier and also did not refund the money. Till today it is showing in transit though sent on September 19th, 2013. You can check dtdc.com with the tracking number. They are expert in doing such things. Pls do not send any important documents through them. Pls pass on this message to everybody so that everybody is aware.
                              I feel so sorry to say that we are in 21st century and Courier Company like DTDC whom people of this country made what & where they are today!
                              But DTDC as a company has betrayed and failed their customers trust & faith again and again
                              Sorry to say that this company is full robbers and thief’s who steals innocent customers items just like that and customer can just do nothing about it other than raising an alarm via customer care which is nothing
                              Much than name sake and absolutely has no control over anything or anyone!
                              Or else who knows DTDC themselves training these robbers and thief’s later on selling customer items back in the market!
                              I am one those unfortunate customer whose not one but five packages got stolen over period of 10 years, out of which recent two packages back to back got stolen,
                              As I believed things will change with DTDC over period of time but it would been foolish to think that way...
                              Anyway I would request again and again to all my mates and people of this country not to use DTDC and risk if you have valuable product which you care for, pay more if required but send it via other reliable Courier out there as plenty of them today

                              or else you will regret it for sure someday take my word on that!

                                    DTDC is a biig mistake. Don't do it guys, ever!! Ohh, and they don't have a call centre. The number is fake and just connected to a auto answering machine. Every employee is a master at passing the blame. No one will actually help you. They're just there to get the money. They'll seldom deliver stuff and never on time. DON"T USE DTDC, trust me on this one!!!

                                    Not reached yet. Absolutely no communication from any DTDC office as no one answers the phone.
                                    When I visited the office physically, no one helped and just passed the blame to some other office.

                                    Very bad company and very bad service. I'm going to ensure none of my friends and colleagues use DTDC.

                                      I am hereby writing to you after all my attempts to reach out to your franchisee at NOIDA - ACHHER - NOIDA. I booked a consignment on 28 Oct 2013 for XLRI, CH Area, Jamshedpur at this center. I chose the express services and the fellow at the center comitted 48 hour delivery. The reference number is - Z94526759. After booing this consignment, when I checked the status on the tracking site, it displayed a message that the consignment number is not found. I contacted the franchisee on[protected] at 5 PM and asked him about the status. He was not at office and told me that he will get back to you. On[protected], at 11:30 AM I checked the status and again got the message that the consignment number is not found. Then I called the franchisee again. After calling many times when he finally picked up my call, he told me to check again. It was 11:50 AM by this time and when I checked the status, it showed me booking time as Wed, Oct, 30, 2013 12:00 AM and status as IN TRANSIT. I have reciept that has[protected] as booking date. This is pure breach of information. I was very surprised as the consignment was to be delivered on[protected]. Now the person is not even receiving my call. It is very important that the consignment is delivered today or early morning tomorrow at the latest. Otherwise I will be at a big loss. Request you to kindly look into this matter.

                                        Horrendous experience with the whole chain of DTDC personnel; franchisee, local office, regional office and the worst-customer service. Been trying to get information of my consig no. D15513229 of 26 Oct 13 for the last 3 days. No luck; with the Mumbai Fort franchisee, the next level- Mr Parmar at [protected]; then customer service many times; one guy put me through to one Mr. Akshay[protected] who promised redressal from Ms Harshada within one hour at 5 PM today; its 1030 PM on 30 Oct 13; still waiting for the so called promised redressal . My consig (as all courier consign generally are I guess) needed to reach Wellington (The Nilgiris) Tamil Nadu 643231 ( also next to Coonoor) earliest. I booked surface mode and was promised delivery by Wednesday. Firstly, the server was not working on Monday 28 Oct; so could not track. Then registered for SMS tracking on 29 Oct 13. Also called Customer Service on 28, 29 and today (30 Oct) umpteen times but to no avail. The package still reflects Mumbai in the tracker and no inputs have been received by me despite spending so much time effort and money with your courier company. Sure does reflect your quality of service, incomplete methodologies, absent work culture, so-called technical infrastructure and rude/clueless customer service. Could some "RESPONSIBLE" person stand up, take the blame, take stock of your "delivering value" company and sort out the mess and in the process just "deliver" the package!!! And if you can't please give me the contact details of your Regional Head
