D[protected] I got email saying that my shipment is damage and they give me list of items which i need to confirm. My problem is i have 150 items (All Cloths, Purses, Baby Toys and Cloths). I don't remember as its huge quantity. I am asking them to repack items as send it to address, so i can call my brother and reconfirm each and every item, if this are missing i am sure DTDC will not do anything for same. so i am asking them to refund 2.5K what they charge me for shipment as they have not able to delivery parcel in good

This is in reference to the parcel D13659527 sent from gurgaon to Kolkata on 27th feb 2014 which was received on 6th march 2014. The weight at gurgaon was 5 kg and the received parcel weight was 3.9 kg. ( this weight was cross checked at dtdc VIP rd office)

The parcel was packed with a drycleaner poly bag with 2 knots on 2 sides and was told by amrit raj who collected from my residence tht he wud further pack it with bubble and label it at his office as he was in a hurry. (I hv the SMS proof of the same)

It just happened tht I was in Kolkata when this parcel was received. When lifted the parcel it looked light and I immediately took the weight and found to be less. And as the parcel was packed with clear shrink poly sheet I cud see tht the bottom tape was torn and one of the knots tht was done by me was missing.

I took the parcel at dtdc VIP rd office and opened the shrink pack ( tht was put by dtdc person) in front of them to show tht the inside packing has been tampered. The video of the same has been taken.

The items missing are 1 kg of branded dry fruit tht was in a beautiful bag 100 gm of Gathia snacks.

The approximate cost of the dry fruit with the bag is Rs. 1200/-.

Do let me knw how many loss will be compensated.

Also I am very upset Amrit raj avoided picking my phone on 7th march 2014 (7 missed calls) When called up from Kolkata lan line no. Then his cell was picked by someone else and was told tht once the parcel is received they hv no legal bounding and I can do whatever I can.

When we contacted dtdc new alipore office we were told tht we shud make the complaint at dtdc VIP head office. And when we reached there and explained the entire story we were told tht they can't do anything and I shud make the complaint at gurgaon office. And when we were adamant tht we won't leave until the complaint is taken then the lady called customer care rep Smita who heard our story and assured the complaint wud be processed and action wud be taken.

Hoping that justice wud be done.

A consignment was booked from Bangalore to Kolkata in DTDC courier on 7th march 2014 [Friday] But I did not get it till 10th march 2014 [Monday]. I went to the nearest Franchisee under M/s Rita Roy Choudhury at Ashok Nagar Park, Tolly Gunge, Kolkata 40 with Franchisee No - KF1764. There the owner told that the courier boy went to deliver but the house was closed at 3.30 pm While I was at home that time. The delivery boy returned from the main gate only as it was closed from inside. Neither he bothered to call my name nor he gave me a call over the phone. The Franchisee owner told me that the delivery boy is one of their finest staff. He would either deliver that the next day. I said I would pick it up myself from the office. The next day 11 March 2014 [Tuesday], somebody banged my door recklessly & shouted my surname "who is this ...". My friend opened the door & he started shouting at him & then I interfered. He started pointing finger at me & shouted "Who is this, you dont have bell at your house, You dont know how to write a address and all". I said you are a delivery boy, how could you talk like this, I will complaint against you". He said "My Name is BABU SONA, complain to whomever you want & I am not going to deliver the letter to you, I will return it back by saying door closed." I went downstairs to go to the franchisee office to complain but he also went down and aggregated a crowd over there & there was a messed up scene there. I went to the office & when I told all this to the owner & asked him to call the delivery boy. He did so but there also in front of his master the delivery boy was behaving the same way. There he added "I am a local & you have come from outside, you dont know what I can do." I said I'll complain it to your higher authorities. He said "Do whatever you want". Then the owner interfered & asked him to give me the letter but he refused. When the Owner insisted a lot then only he bothered to give me the letter. Now the question is why should I choose DTDC and not other local courier services. They provide a better customer service with respect. If they dont find an address they call on the given number to ask & deliver. But here in DTDC after paying a premium amount also I didnt get a call or any other service. Rather I was insulted infront of hundreds of people. Thank You!

Hi Consumer Complaint team, I booked 2 parcels with FAKE courier company DTDC on 3rd March, 2014 to Jamshedpur and New Delhi. Delhi parcel was received by family on 5th march, however Jamshedpur parcel (Tracking Number: B[protected] has not been delivered yet. I went to their office to check the status since they never pick phone calls. There was a lady PUSHPA([protected]) and her office address (150, Nagawarapallaya, CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore-560093) gave me ANAND's number, I think this guy belongs to some local gang since he was talking so badly and harshly. After that also after making so many calls and visits, all was in Vain. Finally, I called to their customer care department there customer executive asked me to pick my package from some Whitefield office. I asked why cant you return to my address or deliver to the address mentioned. Later, she agreed that she will deliver this time to booking office from where I can collect. When I went to booking office again, that Lady pushpa asked me that she has no information about this and I have to check myself for my package. I asked her for some support but she denied it. Next day, she said I need to pay 5000rs if I want my package return or I should forget my package which was really shocking. Later, I had a work with Devyani (Whitefield office- [protected]), he told that since there was liquid content in the parcel, Airport authority has denied to transfer this parcel and I should ask Pushpa to get my parcel. They said package has been taken by AIR Cargo officials and I will get my parcel back as they will not deliver it to Jamshedpur. Afterwards, Pushpa and Devyani were in a conference call and I am not sure what they talking about as it was Forign language for me (Kannada). And then both of them disconnected their phone. Now i m trying to reach both these people and their phones are constantly switch off. I feel this is a big Scam As I have seen many complaints regarding DTDC on your website only. Dear sir This is bring it to your notice that the consignment bearing no: M03878963 booked on 4/3/2014 from THANE to MADURAI in Tamilnadu has yet to be delivered. Many a calls to your one india no 33004444 has been an utter failure as even after a wait of 10-12 minutes, the call got disconnected automatically. Even SMSs sent to your assigned [protected] for tracking has not yielded any response yet. After paying Rs.180 for the consignment & waiting for more than 7 days does not augur well for your proclaimed services. Sir I Sudhanshu tripathi doctor by profession had courier my books and bike from Narhe Pune to Bhayandar East Thane on 01/03/2014 and as of now I didn't received my courier ie till 10/03/2014.Sir I was told by that person from where I booked this courier in Narhe, Pune that I will be receiving this in Mumbai in 3-4 (max) days and after this time span when I called him he said that I will receive courier in evening or next day morning and this continued for next 5-6 days. Sir I am really fed up with this, it is the worst thing I have seen coz the distance between Mumbai and Pune is just 140 km .Sir it is my sincere request to please look into this matter coz I courier all my books and came home hoping that I will receive my books on time so that I can prepare for my exams which is in april .Sir please do something in this matter as soon as pssible .

DTDC though been in courier business for 24 years has never realized that courier is a service and It's the worst in customer service. I, student at IIM Calcutta booked my courier on 1st March 2014, paying Rs.1408, with consignment no. D16240805, to Nandyal (518501) as destiny location. The dtdc guys at Nandyal called me on 5th March, asking me to pick my courier myself, and the lame reason they gave is that they can't find the house no.'s, and after asking them to deliver at the popular location, they hang up the phone and hasn't delivered till now. Now they aren't lifting the call too and the worst part is that their customer service also doesn't lift the phone, it costed me Rs.30 to wait in line, but never got connected to the CCE. I am booking Cheating case with complaints, that they didn't live upto their promise of 5 days delivery and also didn't live upto their promise of home delivery. Adding upto cheating is their worst website which don't even accept the feedback, wonder how much of stress these guys have been causing to the lakhs of customers. They should be banned totally in India for they are not service providers, they are Dadas. If i had to pick myself, i could have booked the courier by rail parcel which would have costed me only 800 and i paid 600 extra, for the service not for their dadagiri.The DTDC head office people should be contacted, and should be told that they should take care of their service, not just in cities but also in towns. To the matter of fact they should take care of their service, everywhere they are present. They should be told that Nandyal DTDC courier guys are not delivering their parcels and hence should either employ the guys who will deliver or remove their service, as they are not living upto their Desk to Desk courier. The guys here are holding up the parcels without not delivering and expecting the customers to pick their parcels themselves. Nandyal DTDC guys should deliver my parcel urgently as they have been holding it for 3 days in their store room. Also Govt. should see that DTDC guys have some redressal mechanism as they don't have one, since customer service is just fake which never lifts the phone and their website doesn't accept any feedback.

DELIVERY PLACE jalandhar .but till 7/3.it is not delivered a have called jalandhar office[protected], branch manager mr.harinder singh [protected], ludhiana office mr.panday [protected]) but still my couirer not delivered.and dtdc not worried about customer.they are not comitted.

Hello team, This is to inform you that DTDC-cargo packers & movers (regd) company is using the name of your company which diverting the mindset of people regarding the fame of DTDC and their service. i just want to intimate my friends, colleagues and specially to DTDC courier and cargo company that DTDC-CARGO is running their company with DTDC brand. Under this confusion, i had quoted for DTDC-CARGO instead of DTDC courier&cargo. this company website is http://www.dtdccargo.com/ and Head office : Plot no. 700 Sector 26, Dwarka, New Delhi (Delhi) which is completely different from headoffice of original DTDC i.e bangalore. i asked DTDC-cargo company fro relocating my car from Delhi - pune and aftermath i had faced the drastic change in my car i.e all new tyres of my car were swapped with used tyres and for this they had taken 1.5 weeks instead of 5 day minimum which they comitted. So this would be request for DTDC Courier & Cargo company from banglore to investigate that how other company can run their business on other brand name. Kindly Acknowledge this messege !!

I had sent a parcel (CN No. B[protected] from Bangalore to the address of my wife SUNU SOMAN, ATHENA, MARAVETTICAL HOUSE, K P ROAD, M G KAVU, Thrissur-680581 on 1/March/2014. On 03/March/2014 I got a call from DTDC office at Athena (Siddharth - [protected]) and asked my wife to come and collect it from their office. Since my wife is sick and not in a position to collect the parcel, I asked them to get it delivered at home. Then they were telling that DTDC will not provide any home delivery. But when i had enquired this on giving the parcel at Bangalore office(DRDO Township), they had confirmed that home delivery will be done at pin code 680581. i just tried to call the DTDC manager Sreejith ([protected]), either he will cut my call or tell that 'I will call back' and wont respond at all. sir, myself kalyan krishna and living in visakhapatnam.i booked one courier having a consignment number H26256796 from visakhapatnam (A.P) to Basti(U.P) on 21.02.14.they told me that it will delivered on 25.02.14, but today is 01.03.14, till now after 9 days, courier not delivered to destination. in phone also dtdc service members are not responding, and they are not in position to tell where is my couier.what to do in that case pls help and support

on 5 feb 2014 for cuttack nimpur jagahtpur they told me it will be delivered before 10 feb 2014 but it is not yet delivered
when I enquired from your Begusarai office they said it is on the way & when I enquired regarding
this courier at nimpur office they said they didn’t received any consignment from Begusarai office.

In your online tracking it is showing that this courier reached at cuttack on 8 feb 14 .

On 27/1/14, I've given a parcel to dtdc to courier to Srinagar(J&K) which consisted of aquatic plants worth 2000 Rs and the guy opened the parcel and checked it and accepted the courier and had given me an estimated courier delivery date in 5 days i.e On 2/2/2014. The parcel consisted of 2000 rupees worth aquatic plants which was wrapped nicely in a polythene cover to prevent any leak incase and there was no chance of leaking as I wrapped the plants in 4 to 5 polythene bags. I've also referred the same to him that it contained aquatic plants and therefore he checked and agreed to take it and charged me 250 rupees for the same. A week passed[protected] by and the courier wasn't delivered. When I checked with the courier services they told me that the courier has returned and will be handed to you In 2 days i.e on[protected] and again a week passed by and I again contacted them (as I was pretty sure that they would be least interested in informing me) regarding the same and this time they said me that the courier has been stuck in Delhi. He took my number and told me that he will be informing me the status of it very Soon. Weeks passed by and the same message I get whenever I ask him about the courier and a month passed by with the same hearing daily on every visit. Then I told him that I will be launching a complain regarding the same and he requested me not to do it untill they receive the courier. He also told me that he will be supporting me for the same. He is just making me go around the bush by saying some nonsense everytime I ask him. So I request the dtdc officials to look into this matter and compensate my loss. As the guy had checked the whole courier and took it saying it will reach there in 5 days. I hope u people value your customers as i've been very patient and understanding and also hope to get a reply for the soon from you as you can see the date of courier being 27th of january and the date I've written this. I hope to get a reply soon. This has been the worst experience for a Happy customer who entrusted upon dtdc as i THOUGHT that your service was the best. Unfortunately this has been a nightmare for me as I've lost the Rare species of my aquatic plants of worth Rs 2000 and also a courier charge of Rs 250. I Donot know how you are going to compensate for this huge loss and also hope that this message reaches the higher officials so that I can get compensated for my loss. I also hope that this worst experience of mine reaches individual out there who trust on DTDC on delivering their valuables.U've dommed me in every way possible and i assure you that i'll never ever choose dtdc and have business with you ever again in future A very unsatisfied and highly dissapointed customer

To Whomsoever it may concern, Its really disheartening to see that one of the renowned courier services acts so irresponsibly...My consignment number D15621256 was courierd on 4 February 2014 and was to reach on 6 February 2014. Its 28 February 2014 now and there are no traces of the item. Even after repeated follow ups the staffs are irresponsible and do not find it necessary to let the customer know the details. this is with reference to ADYAR BRANCH 018, CF032 Chiarman's Club Member, Chennai- 600020, near murugan stores. They have been actuely rude and do not reply at all. Even after calling kolkatas customer care number noone piks up the call and emails are not replied. I am hopeful of thye actionagainst such kind of incidences and still have faith so i m putting down my cobcern here. Hoping for a positive response.

I have had the most harassing experience with this company. I had sent 6 boxes from London to Gorakhpur as moving residence for a year. 4 boxes sent were fine but 1 box was some one Else's and the other had broken and missing things. I had to trace the contact details of the owner and complain as the staff had told me until some one else doesn't say they have received a wrong box how can we track. After 2 weeks of fighting I received my box which had reached a place in Ahmedabad. The box had to be opened and repacked to be sent back to me. This is utter nonsense. The other box had things missing and had wooden artefact's which was broken. I have been told that the things which is lost was not mentioned in the list of things while booking the order. I explained that I was told by the London office that detailed list is not needed. Also explained that the other box which I received had more things than what I had mentioned does it mean as I had not stated they will not give it back. They conveniently forgot that the wooden artefact's was mentioned and not even looked into it. The company should be shut down as the service is horrible. More than providing a service they are arrogant. It is adding no value to any one. I paid 45, 000 Rs for this service and absolutely hated it. Companies like these and people with no ethics are the ones are creating nuisance. It is not even about compensation. What is right is right. Even though I am an Indian i feel ashamed to see how majority of businesses and people working there take advantage. I wish like the western countries these companies could be sued. They know that nothing can be done and even complained will take ages to clear out as nothing is straigth forward. Its high time some action is taken.
