DTDC Courier & Cargo Complaints & Reviews

I couriered one packet on March 5th (Tracking id H[protected] from Hyderabad to Varanasi. Today is 15th and it has not been yet delivered. When I check the status it shows something like this

5th March - Dispatched from Hyderabad
6th March - Arrived at Delhi
7th March - dispatched from Delhi
8th March - Arrived at Varanasi where it was supposed to be delivered
9th March - Dispatch from Pune!!
10th March - Again dispatched from Pune
13th March - Arrived at Delhi (after 2 days)

When I called Hyderabad centre the lady said what system is showing is wrong. When I asked ok if what system is showing is wrong then where is packet? She had no answers.

But document not received by us . we have taken the DRS / POD copy ... it is not signed by us & stamp is not belong to our company

DTDC has to coach patience and manners to the delivery boys who deliver the courier. Many times I had a very bad experience with the delivery boys who talk as if they are doing a favor by delivering the courier. They lack minimum customer service capabilities and minimum experience of how to talk to the customers and the most required factor: Patience in such jobs which I have never seen in them.

On 26th February 2013 I booked two courier consignments (details at the end) bound to Singapore and South Africa with DTDC Courier & Cargo Limited. The dealing person at their Daryaganj franchise, Mr. Rajesh (Mobile [protected]) confirmed that nothing is amiss and the company will be able to provide the services for both the destinations.

He charged Rs. 1700 for both the consignments, Rs. 500 for Singapore and Rs. 1200 for South Africa. On 27th evening he told me that the packet for South Africa cannot be dispatched due to incomplete address. I asked him to return the amount of Rs. 1200 back. He said he cannot return the complete amount but would deduct Rs. 100. I fail to understand the logic. I am at loss as my consignment is already delayed and now why should I bear the loss of Rs. 100 for no fault of mine.

Kindly advise. The South Africa bound packet and money both are with him. This is hooliganism.

IDBI Bank Has Sent a Courier for me Through DTDC Courier Service. They not delivery a cover even just 1 km of the same town. they Call me for just come and collect that. I went There after 2 days at 11.30 am from my workstation. the staff asked my name and find my Cover. but the branch manager simply telling go and come after 30 min. I was went kumbakonam for that courier only and I want To go My Office. i explained this to him but he dont hear my request. he also say her of his staff don't give this till he come after 30 min. really very worst.

Sir, I was booked the one packet from DTDC coympany from Missamari to Delhi (RK Puram) vide consignment No K60856009 on 29 Jan 2013 at 11 AM and the booking representative assured me that your packet will be delivered within a week to concerned person. But after 23 days neither the pocket received the concerned person nor any information given me regarding where is consignment. The DRS provide me the company shows that no signature and no name included the DRS. '

My name is Rajiv Tanwar, and i send a shipment thru the DTDC couriers & cargo limited, on 7TH FEB13. the Shipment No. is . z82723047. Its is still not delivered to destination. i call everyday and i email everyday i am receiving only one answer the shipment is at kolkata office but not delivered. Since then I am just wondering for favorable answer nobody is taking their job seriously. I request you to please help me in this matter and take necessary action.

My wife had shipped a consignment No: D11805637 from Delhi to me in Jammu on 30th Jan 2013 and has still not reached me. She sent me her qualifaction documents such as diploma's & degree's. DTDC committing to deliver it in 2 days time. Now Almost 21 days completed. I am continuously trying to contact the dtdc office C4-Janakpuri,New Delhi- [protected] & [protected], but there is no positive reply from there side . I have booked an online complaint against the same, but still there is no response from there side.

Kindly take this matter very seriously and help to resolve urgently.

It is around 9 days but courier is not delivered at destination and voucher is going to expire soon. Even a simple post does not take 9 days to be delivered. This is my second experience with DTDC. Services are not good and not upto mark. They make wrong commitment to customer.
I have also dropped a mail to DTDC but no reply from their side. Nobody is taking care abt this.
Please help me and do the needful. I am ready to take a legal action if required.

I WAS PROMISED THAT COURIER WILL BE DELIVERED IN AROUND 3 DAYS TIME BUT I DID NOT RECV THE COURIER TILL 6TH DAY.
ON TRACKING THE CONSIGNMENT IT WAS MENTIONED THAT THE DELIVERY WAS ATTEMPTED AND FAILED BECAUSE DOOR CLOSED OR LOCKED HOWEVER THERE WAS ALWAYS SUMBODY PRESNT AT THAT ADDRESS AS IT HAS A PATIENT THERE TOO ALL THE TIME. ON ENQUIRING ABOUT THE STATUS OF THE COURIER THE DTDC CENTRE ( MITR ENTERPRISES) WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY SATISFACTORY ANSWER AND HE WAS NOT READY TO CONTACT ANY OF ITS OTHER OFFICER ON BEING FORCED HE TRIED BUT ALL THE CONTACT NUMBERS AND DETAILS WERE FOUND NOT AVAILABLE AND SOME WHERE THE PHONE WAS RINGING NO BODY RECEIVED. IT WAS SO SURPRISING THAT A COMPANY'S OWN CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER NO ONE WAS ANSWERING AND ON BEING ASKED THE GUY AT THE COURIER CENTRE( MITR ENTERPRISES) WAS GIVING VAGUE ANSWERS AND WAS NOT INTERSTED IN THA MATTER AT ALL. ALL THE TIME HE WAS MENTIONING THAT COURIER IF NOT DELIVERED WILL BE SENT BACK TO YOUR ADDRESS. PLEASE BE REMINDED NOBODY SENDS SUMTHING BY COURIER TO RECEIVE IT BACK THAT TOO AFTER 6 DAYS. I AM HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED WITH ALL THIS FROM YOUR COMPANY AND WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE A FULL DETAILS ON ENQUIRY OF THIS MATTER. THIS WHOLE MATTER HAS LEFT ME WITH NO TRUST AT DTDC AT ALL.

i booked a parcel for DELHI and PUNE from jabalpur on 12/02/03.
I enquired with collecting centre rep and confirmed that parcels will be delivered latest by 14/02/13 1000hrs(thursday).
I planned for two full working days for my papers to be processed. To my horror the pkg for Pune was delivered on 14/02/13 evening and the Delhi one was more disappointing as it was delivered only on 15/02/13 in the evening(ALL GOVT OFFICES CLOSED) and that too after close monitoring with the despatch office at Jabalpur.The very purpose o[censored]sing courier ahead of speed post completely lost.I lost out on valuable time and it has been a hugely stressfull experience with DTDC.I would rate it the most useless courier agency of the country.The least one can expect is that there responsible functionaries at least try to call me up and find out the cause and prevent repeats of such harrowing experiences. This is nothing but daylight loot of innocent customers. I hope DTDC management at least read this.My consignment nos were *v1178731 & *V11787321 for Pune and delhi respectively

I have booked a Courier in DTDC , as on date 11/02/2013 in the morning time nearly 9.45 at KOPARKHAIRANE branch mumbai to a location in assam which is BONGAIGAON (pin-783385) . As per the DTDC courier they have told me that 3days delivery will cost me Rs.1445 as NATIONAL green by air delivery which according to them must be reach on AT max thursday. The weight of the consignment was 5.5kg by volume. But As per there commitment which i tracked and also tracked through local DTDC center they misplaced my luggage to some other place called Barpeta, as per the Barpeta DTDC branch and they have after that returned it to GUWAHATI and watever the reason they are telling me lies that it will be delivered on 15th of feb which was not happend. There promise of delivery was not happend as expected. I want to complain against it and also i want my money back .

I had given one parcel vide docket no- D10413415 dated[protected] from Bangaluru(India) for shipment to Raipur (CG) zip 492001 & paid 616INR, which is vey high, but with acommitment & urgency for getting delivered on 3rd day, I had paid this high amount.
On 3rd day when I enquired in DTDC, no one was ready to answer my query of as on date tracking status of my booking.lastly I equired to the booking agent who confirmed me that there was some system problem in DTDC india during that period & hence my parcel was not diapatched till 3rd day & shall be diapatched on 7th vide new doc no-D12653551 & again ensured that it will be delivered on 3rd day.
Sir, at this moment, it is 7th day finished & tracking is showing tat my parcel in lying in Raipur itself since 9th evening.(since last 48hrs) it show very poor level of commitment for customer focus & for what We should pay 616 INR, if the delivery has to take palce on 8th day, which is possible by govt postal service in only 25INR. Request to kindly direct my greiviance to Indian concern & refund my mony & INR 1500 which i have to incur for enquiring this.

I made a courier with tracking no Z82435703, on 4/2/2013. the person said it will b delivered in maximum 3 business day, but till date it has not reached their..This company should be shut down as soon as possible..These peoples are only making fool out of customer by making fake promises in different names like wish express service, premium service..Even they are charging much more amount in comparison to other courier companies.
Its better to make a post rather than making a courier by this company, at least we will know that it will be delivered in 5-7 days in cheap price..

I have ordered one article online from babyoye.com. They sent it via DTDC courier. After sending 10 days over but we have not yet received the article.
The worst part, without delivery they marked the item as delivered. So status is showing as delivered though we have not received the order.

i sent packed my newly bought MTS USB MODEM ( price RS. 2000) for my dad, from VT UNIVERSITY, VELLORE. and FIVE 2GB pendrives. and posted it through DTDC courier service ( VIT BRANCH) for west bengal on 21st of JANUARY, 2013. i still have the bill with consignment number: C45226876. it was supposed to reach there within 3 days. my dad has still not received the parcel. upon enquiry, the related person is saying that they have received AN...

i sent 2 pairs of shoes for my brother through DTDC on 3rd march 2012 but unfortunately they are not reached till now. I sent it from Hyderabad (Indira nagar branch) to Nawada(Bihar). The cost of shoes are Rs1400rs and the service charges are Rs200.

I called to customer care many times, I visited DTDC shop more than 30-40 times, I gave written complaint 2 times within a month from the date of sending the courier, I mailed to css.[protected]@dtdc.com(suggested by shop owner) also but they even not responded.

Now I got tired of making as much efforts as possible and hence I request this organisation dedicated customers to help me.

DTDC Services in Dehradun do not provide the vaule services to customers. I have used DTDC National Blue to send a courier from Indore(M.P.) to Dehradun. It reached to Dehradun office on 11:30 AM next business day only but they could not deliver the courier to the destination saying it was raining. They charge a lot for their service and do not provide the value to customers

Is this what DTDC stands for?

If you possess even 0.1% of concern for your customers, kindly read the entire details -

1. A courier has been sent by my friend (D12114625*) to be received at Bopal, Ahmedabad.

2. I receive a call on Saturday i.e. 2/2/2013 at around 11 AM from Mr. Pankaj Panchal. He says your courier cannot be delivered at shela as DTDC does not deliver couriers in that area. I told him I cannot come to the office at ashram road as I am on job, he says then in that case he will send it to bopal office and I will have to collect it. He also said it will be done on Monday since the vehicle left at 11 AM to deliver couriers. If this is so, why don't DTDC plan the deliveries? It is an urgent courier that is required by me!!!!!

3. Today, i.e. 4/2/2013 at 17:05, I call up the ashram road office and Mr. Pankaj and Mr. Hasmukh Panchal both give me lame excuses that since the vehicle DID NOT have enough space, your parcel is still here and it will be delivered tomorrow. Again, you expect me to suffer!! Great!

4. I asked them both to deliver the courier ASAP. They both started laughing and when I said I will complain, they said "you may go ahead and complain, nothing is going to happen"!! and Disconnected the call!!

5. If anybody is serious at DTDC, please deliver my parcel ASAP and I am 200% sure I will NEVER EVER use DTDC in my life nor recommend it in my organization.

Also, this is the second time that it has happened. Prior to this, I was called up again at the Ashram Road branch to pick up my courier as DTDC does NOT deliver couriers at Shela, ahmedabad. I asked them (Deepa Shah and Chirag Shah) to check in their database, and they found that Shela is INCLUDED as a place of delivery. I have even received couriers prior to this.

I do not understand what is happening to your professionalism! People in your organization are lying to customers!! Great! Your tag line is delivering value - is this VALUE??!!!!
