dear sir,
i m an advocate from varanasi. i have booked a courier packet from your Ordaly Bazar branch Varanasi on 13 august 2013 on 10.30a.m as the track no. Z93912283. for the packet from Varanasi to Kolkata, the counter boy of the courier service charged Rs 80/- for that and told me that packet will be delivered on Sat Day 17 August. i felt uneasy and requested him to do fast because there are many train services daily from Varanasi to Kolkata. the boy suggested me to enquire about it at evening.
in the evening , when i reached there and show my reciept for inquiry about my above assignment, the branch head became annoyed and shouted on me.
he misbehaved me and scolded and threatened me that ' mai aapke baap ka nouker nahi hun, jab meri vyavastha hogi tabhi ye jayega, koi madherchod is humse pahle nahi pahuncha sakta. " when i objected on his way of talking and unprofessional approach, he took his sketch pen and cancilled the receipt and throw it on my face. even h didnt return my packet and my payment also.
by this type o[censored]n professional and rude behavior by DTDC staff, i m very socked and i have no other way to complain about it in Consumer Forum. for returning my above mentioned booked packet and charges for nothing.
i request u that please remove these type of staff who are defaming the name of DTDC ,otherwise We will compel to defame Your reputed company.

SUB: NOTICE BEFORE FILING CONSUMER COMPLAINT (Consumer Protection Act of 1986)


1) I have booked one parcel from Trissur DTDC office for express delivery of an urgent parcel.
Sales order No:R11061628. The promised delivery date was 25/07/2013 at Edappal. Edappal branch office not yet dispatched the parcel.Please note that my residence adress was proper, there were no doorlock ,location is just 300 m from town beside tar road.

2) I havent get the delivery of parcel till date. which in turn delayed my whole plan.I was forced to buy another drive to complete my job.

3) As the delivery of materials didn’t come in time, I have contacted the Managing director of DTDC Edappal on 26th july 2013 5.11 pm and 26th,and 2nd Aug 2013 4.30 Pm in [protected] . The call details of the second and third are recorded. I have been told that there are no field staff for delivery. Please note that my address is just 400 meters away from Edappal DTDC office.


4) As the delivery is delayed my work also is delayed which caused loss to my degnity and money.


5) Kindly settle my grievance within 15 days with the loss of money, loss of time, mental agony improper service and the interest(18%) else I will file a complaint with the Consumer Court as you are protected under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986.

Following concerns to be settled.

Initial amount to be refunded-1200 Rs Interest @ 18% as per rules.
The compensation for the time delay-10000Rs
The compensation for purchasing a new drive-1200Rs
Compensation for the improper service-10000 Rs
The labour paid to the labours -4200 Rs
Compensation for the mental agony-100000 Rs
Taxi charges and other expenses during the ordering of product-1200Rs.
The expenses towards the case.


The police case also will be filed before filing the consumer court complaint towards your organisation for cheating the customers by giving wrong advertisements.
Copy of FIR will be send to the Cyber crime department for giving the misleading advertisements in internet that the supply to the door steps.




This is to inform that the consumer complaint will be at your cost and expenses, and I will seek compensation for the mental agony caused due to his deficiency in services.

I was to receive a courier sent from Andhra Pradesh to chennai, the charges were already paid. But the serviceman here (from guindy) told that their service is not available in the place I reside ( that is vandalur) and charged me 150/- extra for delivering it. I got another courier from dtdc the same day without any charges. They must be getting extra money like this from everyone.

If we call to Land Number they lift the call and just hold on the call,nobody is not respond ,

I rang to delivery boy he said , you need urgent you can collect from Akota office, we can not provide at the time ,

The complaint is regarding the K64689087 AWB NO. Details are attached. It is clearly showing that it was reached by Wednesday, Jul 03. It was having Mangoes.
But, the authority did not call me, also did not come to deliver. Though, they have updated "ATTEMPTED" and reason given "RECEIVER REFUSE DELIVERY".
On Friday, when I reached their office, they told the packet is damaged and no phone no is there to contact. I have taken all photos to prove that the phone no is there. When I asked them to give me the packet with whatever condition. They gave me without signing as delivered. I came back home and opened the packet. Out of 8 Mangoes only two got damaged. I have also taken the photos to prove. Now, in the status they have updated like delivered.

They have violated the basic services, for which they have taken the money for booking the courier. For their poor services and irresponsibility the sender, my Father-in-Law, aged 67, went through mental pressure with hyper tension. Also, here, we went through customer mishandling with wrong information.
So, I want the compensation as monetary punishment(Rs 10,000/-) for the authority failing to give basic service rite to the customer for their wrong practice and to make sure that going forward no more customer should face the irresponsibility from the authority, who charged money as paid services.
Please let me know how I can share all the photos as proof.

Hi, I am Joheb, I had given a box on 27July-13 from my place in ghaziabad to be delivered to guwahati. Today I checked the status it shows it is being delivered, when i called to enquire whether it has reached to the place mentioned, well it hasn't. the couirer guys have just called the mentioned number & asked the person to get deleivery by himself around 3-4 kms away. What kind of service is that ? Do we need to pick up goods ourselves then why the hell should we need your service. We could use the India post. I want the parcel delivered to the address. I have paid 360/- buks not to do the service all by myself.

If you want to get screwed then go and book your courier with the biggest sucker DTDC India.

They are simply frauds. Many time when i purchase on ebay etc, the seller sends via DTDC which is actually a fraud company. They are in acute shortage of staff. No body picks phone ever at their so called Uni - India Customer support no. 33004444 and neither anybody would pick phone at their TransYamuna Branch.

They are the biggest cheater company i have ever encountered in my life. They will simply take good from you and promise to deliver but they will never deliver it.

My Packet No. M89757535 is showing Out for Delivery from their TransYamuna HUB which is hardly 4 Km from my place. But they are simply never delivering it. No body pick phone so whom to complaint to.

They dont reply to your emails and so your goods are gone..

I am going to lodge FIR against them soon and also consumer court complaint.


They should be penalized for their actions.

I have placed an order for shipping a product from Bangalore to Madhurai through DTDC(order number: B[protected].
But till date the product is not shipped and there is no response from DTDC.Their customer care services are very horrible and whole day if i try also will not be able to reach out to them.This is such an irresponsible service from DTDC.

DTDC is providing very very poor service, do not go. I was expecting a courier it suppose to take 1 day to deliver but they took 7 days and I called more than 10 times for that. They will not pick customer calls, you do know that courier status.

I have booked courier for my Mom's birthday to be delivered on 10th-July. Courier number being B94494270.

Till 13th-july It has not been delievered. DTDC has ruined the whole purpose of my gift to my mom.

Hopeless service to say the least. I spoke to Mr. Daya in Bangalore and he has been handing out False promises since 4 days.

For couriering an ordinary envelope containing one A 4 size paper (Mininmum Wt) from Thalaghattapura area in Bangalore to the adressee HSBC Bank , Kalidasa Road, Mysore, the courier company has charged Rs FIFTY (Rs 50/) . Usually most couriers would charge between Rs 15/ to 25/ maximum. The details of the receipt are as follows: CN No. B00283726; Franchisee "CHAMARAJPET HUB, BF 984, THALAGATTAPURA Fr,[protected] , DATED 8/7/13.
This is gross overcharging ; in fact looting the customers.
I seek suitable action
for this overcharging AND REFUND THE EXCESS COLLECTED WITH FINE.

Its a compliant against DTDC. Since this was season of Jackfruit in kerala, my sister residing in delhi.asked me to send one jakfruit. I went to dtdc office to ask whether they accepts such items. the staff said, they wil accept it and parcel wil be delivered in 2business days. so i send it through DTDC. The cost for courierwas 1210/-. but it didnt delivered in 2nd day. i asked them personally about this. but they didnt respond. after my frequent followups and fivhtings,the parcel was delivered on 7thday which in turns caused the jackfruit to get spoiled. the jackfruit become completely spoiled and useless. means, I lost the amount I paid for it. when i asked for refund they said they can't. If they are cheating customers like this, who will help customers like me to get cunsumer rights!

consignment no. D13007927 was dispatched from DTDC courier services, Kolkata office on 08.06.2013 and it was expected to be delivered on my given address on 14.06.2013. But, unfortunately it reached there on 13.06.2013 itself.

When the courier was received, it was in an open condition within a simple bag, which was not at all tied up by any thread or anything to provide a seal on it.

The person delivered it and went off Immediately .

There was a small carton inside that bag. But, when I took that carton out, it was damaged from corners. And the crack on the corner was such a big that anyone can remove anything from inside.

The images of the same are attached available with me.

When I opened it from the top, and started counting the books, the total number of copies was short by 12. I was supposed to receive 80 copies but the parcel contained 68 copies only. Because of which I was put in trouble.

I Immediately called up DTDC customer care number also. But, no one picked it up. I tried it 3 4 times. but, no response was there from their side.

Please help me solving my problem ASAP.

My Brother had sent a package from my native place in Karnataka to Bangalore by DTDC Courier Service - AWB No. B94848345 on the 16th/17th of June 2013.
As of today have not received the same while their website shows delivered.
No one from the company is even responding to my mails.

I had ordered a product from ebay.in
the seller shipped the item on time via dtdc courier but I haven't received the courier yet.....since 25th of june the online status is out for delivery...no one picks up the phone on "33004444" which is the so called customer care number of dtdc plus when i try to call the noida branch where the parcel is kept right now "[protected]"....no one is lifting up the phone....I am very much disappointed with their service....whenever someone lifts up the call in noida branch they give different numbers to call and check the delievery status...and when i call them again...they dont respond...
The Airway Bill Number for the consignment is Z92685038...

This is Pavan Shetty from Bangalore. Working for NephroPlus Dialysis Center as a marketing Head. Dated June 21st I have asked my office to dispatch courier (DTDC)to Bangalore from Hyderabad and it contains one CD. They have promised us it will reach within a day. So I have travelled from Mumbai to Bangalore. CD contains all artworks design of advertisement brochures and leaflets. I have planned to print at Bangalore and train people how to utilize brochures for doctors.

Till June 24th I was waiting for courier. So June 25th I have contacted DTDC courier office Basaveshwara Nagar and it is just 2minutes walkable distance from my office. They have asked to contact Manjunathnagar Branch. I have contacted Manjunathnagar office and they said "Courier returned from office, there is no such person called Pavan Shetty". So I have confirmed with security guard and my manager and they have confirmed no one visited from DTDC. from last 2 days I was inquiring about my courier to security guard and manager.

DTDC telephone operator said "your courier is on my table". will send courier tomorrow morning to your office and she has taken my mobile number and land mark etc. But today also I didn't receive my courier. Today evening again I have contacted DTDC office and now they says "we have already sent courier back to Hyderabad".

Yesterday I have given my mobile number and address to DTDC office (Ms. Bhuvaneshwari).

My courier mentioned complete address and even my mobile number. They didn't contact me. It is really unprofessional.

I am staying in Bangalore from last 5 days and awaiting for courier to start my work, Now it is returned back to Hyderabad.

Now DTDC company should pay for me Rs 20K justice of my hotel, food expenses from last 5 days. Now I am going back to Mumbai without any work.


Herewith I have attached copy courier tracker.

I need justice from DTDC.

I am giving this complaint against the poor service provided by DTDC. Where the product not only reached late but also
products went missing. I never expected this kind of poor and filthy service from DTDC. As this was considered to be one
of the better services in our region. Now, I want my my products back. Which are one chain, two pendants and the crystal
watch. I want these products any how because I have a counterfoil of the products which were listed. That too from DTDC.
If strict action is not taken, I will have to go to the consumer court or police. I will make sure that I get the products back
at any cost. My consignment number is B93676798, from where somebody has pinched my stuff. Please help me. Call me at my

I booked a small CD package (1 CD) to be shipped from Bangalore to Jaipur on 17 Jun 2013. First of all they charged me Rs 95 for this shipment which I think is double the price of Indian Speed Post for the same article. Next they promised delivery within 2 days but even after 3 days there was no sign of the delivery. I called customer care on day 3 and they said the package was in DELHI and is being shipped to Jaipur now and will be delivered today. Then they gave me the number of their Delhi and Jaipur office to call and track the consignment. I was not pleased with this (why am I supposed to call all their offices just to track the delivery) but decided to wait for another day. On 4th day there was no sign of delivery upto noon after which I called their Jaipur office and blasted the person there. He just gives excuse that he received the package yesterday and will deliver it today only and that the delay was NOT his problem and I should talk to their Bangalore office.

This is ridiculous, first they charge double rates and then easily shift the blame to other offices like we are dealing personally with the DTDC offices and not with the company as a whole.

Finally, after my call they delivered the package on the 4th day in the afternoon. Package no: B93503102

After so many complaints, this company doesn't seem to improve much.

Penta tab model no.ws802c we sent for servicing dated 18.01.2013 in DTDC Couriear,because this model is not work in properway. we talk to custmercare they speak to say your model no. ws802c dispatch in 2feb2013 for speed post service. speed post service no.EU[protected]IN. but in this date 18.06.2013 we not received my tab....
we contact indiapost office for further information but they say this product not recieved in india post office and speed post no is not found in track.
so please kindly to solve in this condition...now we are fight against in your company in consumer form....

Dear Sir/Madam,
We booked a paracel for despach from noida to delhi cn no-z90745656 through DTDC courier co, ltd. after 3 days when We tried to track this no, it show 'DELIVERED'.
But the receiver party have not received this parcel this parcel contain very very precious thing like Cheque, DD, Pay order ETC. then we tried to contact customer care they said that the parcel has delivered then we demanded the receiver's phone number or signature.
They said that within 24 hours it will be sent. but after five days longer we have'nt receipt the same.
Now we are trying to contact cusotmer care no. but there is no response after 15 days longer and party which have to right to receive this parcel need this parcel urgently.

Now tell me that what to do about this problem.
