Sir/Madam, My daughter had couriered a Samsung TV (consignment number: D[protected] & a microwave oven from Bangalore to Kochi on 08.03.13. She had paid the courier charges. 2% insurance and 4% receipt charges of the product. This was the premium insurance for full repayment in case of damage to the product. The product cost was Rs. 27900. The courier arrived at Kochi on 11.03.13 (12:45pm). The delivery people left even before the pack was opened and checked. But unfortunately when the pack was opened the new TV was totally shattered. Attached are the images of the broken LED TV. It was really saddening to see as we did not expect this from a professional courier like DTDC. It was a gift to me from her and this incident was really disappointing. This was in-spite of repeatedly stating to be careful and the product was new and still encased in the Samsung TV cover itself. The money invested on the TV was very crucial and the gift was very precious. When I rang Mr. Patil who works for DTDC, Bangalore, gave me the contact number of Mr. Mohan R., DTDC Bangalore. When I called him, he told me to send the photos of TV. My daughter emailed him the photos. Then they asked for docket number(consignment number) and she mailed them that too. After that they stopped responding. After calling repeatedly, Mr. Mohan asked us to call Samsung and make an estimate of level of damage. We did the same and Samsung emailed the estimate to DTDC. Then Mr. Mohan offered us to pay for repairing the TV. But that was not acceptable because my daughter had paid for a new TV, rather repaired. So we didn't agree to Mr. Mohan and asked him to act more. But since then he never responded and if he answered the call, he would hung up. Last month, when I went to Bangalore, and talked to him, he said the consignment number doesn't exist in their database. It was quite schocking and disappointing. We then went to Kochi DTDC and inquired about this consignment number. They said that they keep the database only for 90 days. We don't know what to do now. If they keep data only for 3 months, then why did Mr. Mohan dragged us for 8 months. It's been a real mental torture.

    I have booked a parcel to be delivered from Mumbai to Kolhapur at DTDC Andheri WE Highway office on 1st July at 11 a.m. Docket No. M90927410. However till today the packet is not delivered.

    I complaint to their Andheri office but no reply from them

      Dear Sir, I had visited a DTDC courier's franchisee at Anisabad, Patna, on18.11.2013, as I had to send a passport for visa to one of my friends at kolkata. It was an urgent issue so I opted for the premium services which ensures delivery within 24 hours. But it is so unfortunate that more than 48 hours has crossed and the consignment is in transit. I had paid Rs.155/-for this premium services called DTDC PLUS vide consignment NUMBER - V14147102.       Dear Sir,
      I booked a courier for NABHA CANTT-PATIALA(PUNJAB) through DTDC COURIER & CARGO LTD, BILLEKAHALLI--BF 828, BANGALORE ---CONSIGNMENT NOTE NO:- B07586334 DATED 21/01/2014, It is shameful & disgraceful for your company to deliver the courier on 27th of january 2014, It has taken 7 days for you to deliver the courier.Please explain me what is the meaning of courier, The service provided by your company is going day by day, if this trend continues then your company has no future because this type of experiance is 2nd instance for me during last 6 months. The first instance being the courier sent by me to MHOW----your Company website also does not provide the correct information, If I could have option, I will give your company worse rating, I request you donot force the consumer to lodge a report in police station as well as in consumer court because your company always tells the consumer that the courier will be delivered on the third day, If your company is straightforward in telling that courier will reach its destination within 7 days, then no question of compliant arises against your company, I request you to acknowledge this comment & if you have any reply in this matter, reply me accordingly, My EMAIL Iis [protected]@gmail.comS

        My tracking number was D15800042 and sent an old TV through the courier service. The person told no need of any insurance and our service is very good. His words were "Bhagwaan ka naam lo aur bhej do". The TV reached in multiple pieces and is of no use now. Now when I call him for right process for claim settlement he says "how can the TV be broken if the outside is fine". Sir, its the same way if someone poisons u and u die even if your outside is fine. As expected DTDC people keep my phone on hold all the time.

          worst courier service, I have sent courier from Hyderabad to Bangalore (V[protected]. It has been opened and some of the items removed from my courier. they did not hand over to concern person hand, just delivered in address. They have used knife to open parcel at bottom and pasted back. Please don't use DTDC if you are sending valuables.

            My DTDC Courier B03366890 containing one saree and T-Shirt worth 4000/- was stolen by them. Their office could not give any trace of the courier and also did not refund the money. Till today it is showing in transit though sent on September 19th, 2013. You can check dtdc.com with the tracking number. They are expert in doing such things. Pls do not send any important documents through them. Pls pass on this message to everybody so that everybody is aware.
            I feel so sorry to say that we are in 21st century and Courier Company like DTDC whom people of this country made what & where they are today!
            But DTDC as a company has betrayed and failed their customers trust & faith again and again
            Sorry to say that this company is full robbers and thief’s who steals innocent customers items just like that and customer can just do nothing about it other than raising an alarm via customer care which is nothing
            Much than name sake and absolutely has no control over anything or anyone!
            Or else who knows DTDC themselves training these robbers and thief’s later on selling customer items back in the market!
            I am one those unfortunate customer whose not one but five packages got stolen over period of 10 years, out of which recent two packages back to back got stolen,
            As I believed things will change with DTDC over period of time but it would been foolish to think that way...
            Anyway I would request again and again to all my mates and people of this country not to use DTDC and risk if you have valuable product which you care for, pay more if required but send it via other reliable Courier out there as plenty of them today

            or else you will regret it for sure someday take my word on that!

                  DTDC is a biig mistake. Don't do it guys, ever!! Ohh, and they don't have a call centre. The number is fake and just connected to a auto answering machine. Every employee is a master at passing the blame. No one will actually help you. They're just there to get the money. They'll seldom deliver stuff and never on time. DON"T USE DTDC, trust me on this one!!!

                  Not reached yet. Absolutely no communication from any DTDC office as no one answers the phone.
                  When I visited the office physically, no one helped and just passed the blame to some other office.

                  Very bad company and very bad service. I'm going to ensure none of my friends and colleagues use DTDC.

                    I am hereby writing to you after all my attempts to reach out to your franchisee at NOIDA - ACHHER - NOIDA. I booked a consignment on 28 Oct 2013 for XLRI, CH Area, Jamshedpur at this center. I chose the express services and the fellow at the center comitted 48 hour delivery. The reference number is - Z94526759. After booing this consignment, when I checked the status on the tracking site, it displayed a message that the consignment number is not found. I contacted the franchisee on[protected] at 5 PM and asked him about the status. He was not at office and told me that he will get back to you. On[protected], at 11:30 AM I checked the status and again got the message that the consignment number is not found. Then I called the franchisee again. After calling many times when he finally picked up my call, he told me to check again. It was 11:50 AM by this time and when I checked the status, it showed me booking time as Wed, Oct, 30, 2013 12:00 AM and status as IN TRANSIT. I have reciept that has[protected] as booking date. This is pure breach of information. I was very surprised as the consignment was to be delivered on[protected]. Now the person is not even receiving my call. It is very important that the consignment is delivered today or early morning tomorrow at the latest. Otherwise I will be at a big loss. Request you to kindly look into this matter.

                      Horrendous experience with the whole chain of DTDC personnel; franchisee, local office, regional office and the worst-customer service. Been trying to get information of my consig no. D15513229 of 26 Oct 13 for the last 3 days. No luck; with the Mumbai Fort franchisee, the next level- Mr Parmar at [protected]; then customer service many times; one guy put me through to one Mr. Akshay[protected] who promised redressal from Ms Harshada within one hour at 5 PM today; its 1030 PM on 30 Oct 13; still waiting for the so called promised redressal . My consig (as all courier consign generally are I guess) needed to reach Wellington (The Nilgiris) Tamil Nadu 643231 ( also next to Coonoor) earliest. I booked surface mode and was promised delivery by Wednesday. Firstly, the server was not working on Monday 28 Oct; so could not track. Then registered for SMS tracking on 29 Oct 13. Also called Customer Service on 28, 29 and today (30 Oct) umpteen times but to no avail. The package still reflects Mumbai in the tracker and no inputs have been received by me despite spending so much time effort and money with your courier company. Sure does reflect your quality of service, incomplete methodologies, absent work culture, so-called technical infrastructure and rude/clueless customer service. Could some "RESPONSIBLE" person stand up, take the blame, take stock of your "delivering value" company and sort out the mess and in the process just "deliver" the package!!! And if you can't please give me the contact details of your Regional Head

                        I was requested Airtel, for duplicate postpaid bill on 21-oct-2013 and they said bill will be available to you within 5 days. After that they shipped my bill on[protected] through DTDC Courier service from Guragon. Till now i do not received my bill from DTDC courier service. I was trying to contact DTDC customer care but it is always busy[protected] and sometimes call was ended & also i sent a mail to DTDC customer care on 29-0ct-2013 but their is no reply. Later i contacted Bangalore's Rajajinagar DTDC courier office by[protected]. They said my parcel is not dispatched from delhi DTDC courier office till now & it is showing as IN-TRANSIT..

                          Epitome of BAD SERVICE and ATTITUDE towards CUSTOMERS is DTDC. Hope someone higher up is reading this and is open to bettering service quality and is willing to take some action. Let me tell you at the onset that this is a serious allegation and if adequate action is not taken, this will be taken further. Facebook is just one forum I am highlighting this. However, you will find this in many other social networking and consumer forum websites. I booked a courier on the 9th of October from Bangalore to go to Calcutta. This was booked from Basavanagar, Bangalore. This area as 2 centres one near the bus stop and one opposite shell petrol pump. This courier was booked on the 9th October 2013 and got finally delivered today i.e 21st October at 4.30 pm after my screaming and shouting and increasing my blood pressure!. This was sent by DTDC PLUS which costs more and apparently assures customer that it will reach in 24 hours. Earlier, when i had complained to the contact centre on the 16th October about this delay they gave me a complaint number which was not a correct one. What angered me more is the BAD ATTITUDE of DTDC's employees. They have no empathy towards customers and they also make communal statements and laugh at customer's frustration. When I went to the branch in Basavanagar opposite shell petrol pump, the manager Raju started misbehaving with me and a lady who sits next to him started making communal statements - you north Indians coming to south India...etc etc. The manager Raju was a witness to this and encouraging her to make such statements. When i called up the Bangalore office and spoke to customer service supervisor Varahalakshmi and then the manager there (Victoria Road) Shaista, and complained about this, I could hear both of them laughing about this issue while they asked me to hold the line. What nonsense is this? Mr. Subhasish Chakraborty ...is this hwo you train your employees?? Basically DTDC is fooling customers and also insulting them. I would mention this on facebook and in all other social networking sites - DO NOT USE DTDC. I recommend Blue Dart - expensive, but atleast get good service and good attitude. DTDC is PATHETIC, RUDE, NO SENSE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A BUNCH OF LIARs.

                            Dear Sir, Letter CN/tracking no Z05047586 was given to your office in Delhi on 7th Oct 2013 but you website is still it is showing IN TRANSIT even after 11 days. Kindly look into this since the letter contains urgent and important letter to be delivered at Beas (Amritsar District), Punjab which is only 6 hrs train journey from Delhi to Beas. Note: In your system (DTDC system) the station Name is Bias whereas as it should be Beas. It may also be corrected and please ack my mail and the reason for delay in delivering the letter may be intimated - R Chand

                              On 11th Oct'13 a consignment (P[protected] was handed over to DTDC Pune (pimple saudagar) and the destination was Nagpur. Till date the consignment has not reached the destination and DTDC people are just pushing the case from one office to another. There is no resolution provided by them and also the customer care is hardly reachable. Their website is showing that the consignment is in transit but no further information is available. Need help from DTDC.

Then i visited your HHHHHHGV Office Name : VAISHALI SUPER FRANCHISEE Address : GROUND FLOOR, PLOT NO. 459, SEC.4, , VAISHALI Pincode : 201010 Phone : [protected]/[protected] They told as per there record the packet is delivered . when i asked him that the packet is not delievered when they investigated at there end and enquired about the delivery Boy he told he has not pic the packet but as per them they have given the packet to Delivery Boy, There was completely miss match of entery data in Your system . The person who enter the data is denieying the entry and the Delivery boy ignoring about the packet, The packet carried the One of most Important Doc of my life . Due to that I used Your best Service ( Plus) for 100 % Delievery . Its carried My wife Original Date of Birth Certificate which i requied for Applying passport and the Appointment is on 14th Oct, and Due to your worst Service i lost it, Its took more than 6 moth effort to make this certificate' and lot Of effort and Pain which i cant expalin . I need complete compensation on that due to which i am going to face in future, I have to travel abroad with my family and i need to apply passport for the same, But now i am on the same page where i started . I request you to Take a strick action against this case and Proper compensation on that . I am rally frusted with this Service who Commmite the best Service in the world.                                   I WAS TO RECEIVE A CONSIGNMENT FROM DELL WHICH WAS SHIPPED ON THE 23 RD OF SEPT FROM BANGA LORE TO MY MUMBAI ADDRESS WHICH REACHED MUMBAI ON THE 1 ST OF OCT BUT TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT AND TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT GOT THE CONSIGNMENT WHEN I CONTACTED THE DTDC MUMBAI OFFICE THY SAT THY HAVE DELIVERED IT WHICH THEY HAVE NOT AS I ALSO TOLD THEM TO SHOW ME MY SIGNATURE, BUT THY DID NOT SAY ANYTHING WHICH MEANS THY HAVE LOST IT OR GIVEN TO SOME ONE ELSE OR DAMAGED IT, NOW PLS TELL ME HOW MUCH COMPENSATION I NEED TO CHARGE ON DTDC FOR THIS FRAUD ACTIVITY OF THEIR S PLS HELP ME NOW

                                    CONSIGNMENT NO. H15501217 BOOKED ON 4.10.2013 FROM NAGARAM, HYDERABAD TO SRI K. DHANUNJAYA, RESIDING AT PUNE HAS NOT YET REACHED THE CONSIGNEE. WHILE CONTACTED THE DTDC OFFICE AT PUNE, OVER PHONE, THE CONSIGNEE WAS NOT GIVEN PROPER RESPONSE. PLEASE LET US KNOW THE FATE OF THE CONSIGNMENT. THIS TYPE OF SERVICE IS HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING.

                                      I've booked an article of 440 g on 30-09-13 vide consignment no. V13772721. The item was booked & despatched for Umreth, Vadodara, Gujarat. I've tracked the status and it showed that the bag has reached Vadodara on 02-09-13. Umreth is just 20-25 kms away from Vadodara and the item was booked on priority but the item has still not been delivered till 07-10-13. I've tried too many times to establish the connection on[protected]/[protected] with DTDC, Vadodara Franchise, Semi Basement, No. 3, Pradhan Enclave, Urmi Char Rasta, Srinagar Society, Dinesh Mill Road, Akota-390005 but either the phones were switched off or call rejected by the franchisee. At last a call attended in the evening on 04-10-13 and they communicated that there is no service to Umreth from Vadodara and hence the item should be collected from the centre or it will be returned back to the sender. Now my query is:- If there is no service in Umreth, then why the item was booked in Patna? Did the said Franchisee at Vadodara not show negligence of duty? Should the services and Franchisee at Vadodara be not discontinued? Should the Franchisee played with the reputation of DTDC? Why the mobile no. registered with DTDC not functioning? And if functioning, then not responding? I was charged an amount of Rs. 215/- for express delivery. If I would have opted for Speed Post/Registered Post, it would have reached there far more earlier with lesser charges, then does still the faith in DTDC will alive among customer? I hereby request DTDC to compensate with monetary loss of Rs. 5000/- & also to deliver the article at earliest.

                                        This is the worst service in my life, I am tracking my courier [Courier Docket no Z06069359 ] from last one week, but still not received and I call to the reference no they will not able me to provide me complete information. I think if you are not able to provide the courier on time so stop this service. NOTE:- This is the Despatching Details.
