My refrigerator makes to much noise &lighting problem from purchace. i have purchaced it on 21/10/10 ffrom RAVI CORPORATION, VADODARA. three time godrej technician came and said this noise will come in all refrigerator. and lighting problem is still continue no light in fridge beacause of switch problem. I WANT TO REPLACE IT WITH A NEW REFRIGERATOR OR MY MONEY BACK.
I am having a similar problem with my Godrej 275 Lit double door frost- free fridge. Only day before the Godrej authorised service centre fellows changed the relay as well as the compressor and refilled the gas. Now only the compressor is running and not the cooling system.
A couple of years back their technician insisted that I should buy their electronic voltage stabilizer for 1800 eventhough I had a very good logicstat stabiliser. Now since last year the Godrej Automatic stabilitizer is getting replaced every now and then but noen has worked properly. I am now using the same old Logicstat only.
In the early days only Godrej and Philips refrigerators were there. Their qualities were very good. There was never any need to call technicians..
But today I do not see any Philipas Refrigeratore in India.
I had a Blue Star Leonard Fridge for over 28 years which was excellent and I had never to call any technician in all those 28 years. Only there was the problem of manual defrosting and its current consumption was high because of its lowspeed motor. I made the folly of exchanging it for Godrej new frige and I have been having headache since then.
Valuable lessons I have learnt after burning big holes in my budget:
Never buy any Godrej applicance.
Even Whirlpool is worthless as also electrolux
I have seen all my relatives and friends using LG and Samsung and they run well and their service also is good.
I have an LG 29" TV which is under AMC. Twice I had to call their service centres. The response was within 18 hours and the defects were rectified.

I agree with the poor or no service atall by the great cheater company Godrej. My advice to all the valuable costmors through the product at a place so that every body see the great product of India.

Bad service, they are intrested in selling the value added service (warranty and stebliser) and not intrested in rectifying the issue with the refrigerator. called them 2 times and they havent responded to service call for 6 days and when I called the customer care and blasted them i got call from 5 of them asking for the appointment.
this is pathetic and i prefer not purching Godrej because of bad service they are providing.

dear customer service,
i am ismail one your customer currently woking in dubai, one of my refregerator back in india got some technical problem, my wife has reported the problem to one of your authorized service center in my near by area, they came to my home and took the refregerator to their service point then brought back to my home after 1 week, they told my wife it was repaired and to start the fridge after 1 hour then the technician left, they have charged the amount of RS 4300,
my wife restarted the firge after 1 hour they left the compount, and she found it is still not working and it is in same condition where they taken, she is very disepointed
very next day my wife called the same tecgnician and informed about the incedent, the technician come again today and telling they want to take the fridge the service poing again for repairing and they are asking about RS 3000 for further repairing, this totally unfair and not expectable from one the leading company in india, we have already lost plenty of money and time, it is not acceptable at all
i want my refregerator to be repaired without any further cost, becouse i have alredy paid plenty of amount for reparing the same,
kindly look in to this do the need ful, trust this kind of attitude from your autorized service center will effect your buissness and image in the market i am expecting a promt and positive reply from your end,

Refrigerator — refrigerator Cooling
I purchased a Samsung Refridgerator from Best Buy about 4 years ago...I contacted Samsung after having it for about First 6 month. People complain about the ice maker not handling a family of five this thing can't handle a family of two. The Ice maker finally quit completely about 6 months ago. I am reluctant to call anyone to fix it, because it didn't work worth a crap when it was new. Thank goodness I have GE in the garage with an ice maker that makes enough for us and then some. I have had several other Samsung products with no complaints, but I too have decided that I will never buy another Samsung product again.Regrad

Godrej is one of the bogus company ... we are using its AC in PAHARGANJ DELHI its been more than 2 yrs each yr whn the temp crosses 35 the AC cuts (shuts down the compressor) CAN U BELIEVE IT WHEN ACTUALLY WE WANT TO USE THE AC ITS NOT IN A STATE TO WORK ..

godrej pepole are very poor in their service and careless too.as i booked my 1st complaint on april 30th they took week to attend after that one service person came and he told me that i dont do any service to above 400 liter, even though while complaining them i mentioned model number, 2nd person came he told freezer is good what is promblem godrej people keep service engineers of this standard .till today nobudy attended my compliant.i am sure if company mangement not taking care soon it has close down my compliant no :566290 the other one :572941

It is requested to please lookinto the matter and get rectify the refrigerator as earliest as possible.
