[Resolved]  Godrej Refrigerator — Cooling Problem

I bought my Godrej refreigrator Eon 240 litres around 2 years back. Everything went well for 2 years. Now it started giving me the cooling problem.

I reported the complaint at Godrej Service center in Bangalore on 17th April viz complaint no. [protected]. Service Engineer came to my house and after lots of troubleshooting and 2 hours of diaognising, he came to conclusion that compressor is faulty. He told me that compressor is under warranty and you need to pay for change in Gas and service charge for which net amount apid by you will be around 1300. Service Engineer told me that Compressor does the cooling for 2 mins and stays switched off for 1 mins which is not the normal behaviour. Hence please go ahead with chnaging of the compressor. I said go ahead and repair the refrigerator. There was no response from Godrej and after 3 days I recieved a message that your problem is resolved and complaint is closed.

I raised another complaint to Godrej Service center for not doing cooling by refrigerator on 22nd April with complaint no. [protected]. After calling them several times and persuading them, they came to my house to change the compressor. Compressor was changed on 25th April which took 4 hours with gas filling and everything. Service Engineer demaded Rs.1250 which I paid him. He told that now ice will be made in refrigerator and temprature can go below 0. To my surprise next day I was unable to see any ice in my refrigarator. I called the service Engineer on 26th April and did not got any response from him. Even they went ahead and closed my complaint.

I raised third complaint for my same problem on 25th of April with complaint no. [protected]. Service provider people at HAL didn't bothered to pick up my call even after 100's of trial onto number which I had as [protected] and another mobile number as [protected]. I called them on saturday 28th April aroun 20 times and they informed me that we are busy in meeting and would be sending person in evening. Even in evening they did not responded to my call. After several attempts they told me that executive would be visiting me on Sunday morning. On sunday they did not even attended my call. After so many attempts they said that we'll come on 7th of May. Even 7th May they did not turned out. I called them back on 8th May and did not got any response. On 9th May they said that we'll come but never turned out till evening. On 10th May they came to my house and asked to empty the refrigerator and said that problem is with the freezer. Then he rechecked and after 3 hrs of diagnosis, he came to conclusion that the NEW COMPRESSOR which they replaced is faulty one. I am really fed of these Godrej Service Center people.

Then again they said that we are going to come tomorrow with the new compressor and replace it. I asked then to collect my refrigerator and rectify the problem in it and deliver it back to me. It is none of by business how do you guys fix it.

Now they have to come to my house to collect the refrigerator and I hope they turn out tomorrow. My vegetables and fruits worth Rs.1000 are spoiled due to refrigerator. Even daily the milk is getting spoiled as its Summer in Bangalore. I am really fedup with these Service Center guys.

I would suggest everybody never buy the Godrej refrigerator as they provide the worst service in the world. I am very much disssatified with their service.

HI,

I have a bitter experience in purchasing Godrej refrigerator last week (22nd April, 2012). I brought the Godrej AXIS Model No: 2G15B4 through factory outlet in Coimbatore. They promised the Demo will be given within 2 days of purchase to make the refrigerator in running condition.

Herewith I am attached the scanned copy of Purchase Invoice (Cash Memo) and Godrej Smart Care Application Form for your reference.

An unknown person without Godrej Batch Id came for Demo. I don’t have trust on that person, who is really from Godrej or Not for Demo. I have many times contacted Godrej customer care ([protected]) they inform Technical Engineer Vinoth will be providing Demo Complaint No: 445933. Vinoth is not reachable till this moment. And also they keep things postpone and thrice told me that their service person will be coming tomorrow.

I purchased the Godrej product for use but now I am complaining and facing the worst experience. Godrej is a renewed company with lot of belief, values, and customs and makes the customer to be very satisfied. But for me, it’s not true.

Please do the things at the possible way and bring me a happier moment by using Godrej Product.

Kindly send the authorized person for Demo and make the refrigerator to a running condition at the earliest.

I have purchased godrej edge refrigerator. In 8th march 2012 from RAJ ELECTRONICS BHUBANESWAR ODISHA, AFTER 4 DAYS refrigerator frezer gate problem, ice is not fixed in 20hours, My complain number is [protected] after complaining your technician says that your freezer door is some problem so changed the freezer door and freezer door is not available in our stock, after that I have companing lots times in customer care but no boy taking action, after that I have companing in raj electronics after that they have sent one technician but his also repeat the same thing again .and I am facing this problem when I am purchased this refrigerator now kindly suggest me to what can I do now and your service department not serve me properly. I have Godrej Refrigerator

i buy my fridge in june 2012 and there was cooling problem in my fridge. The first complaint which I made to Godrej Service Centre (Toll Free No. [protected])was in the month of june2012 .Godrej technicians come to my home and says your fridge are ok at that time only my son at my home my son says sir pls check completely because fridge are not cooling and techniciation says i check your fridge if they are not working properly pls complain i change your fridge. Now fridge are not cooling and i call customer care toll free number [protected] on 29 june 2012 but no technician come till 05 june and call many time to cutomer care they sir pls wait then i call senior person of customer care on 03 june Ms bani and her emply id is ebl21775 she says your problem solve on todays but still pending pls suggest what i do no bodody come. sir this is my mistake i buy fridhe of your company or yu solve the problem

I had purchased godrej reading table and a chair from the Kanpur vendor . Who supplied defective chair resulted broke next day of supply. Immediately, I lodged complain the vendor who registered my complain after one week and now 20 days passed but so far it is not repaired . I am the chief manager working in bank of india and regular customer of Godrej item .But this service disheartened me.

till date I registered same complaint's to company.But no one comes.I agree to purchase new washing machine in their exchange offer, but there is no response as per their own policy.
I have purchased godrej refrigeator since since2008. This is the worst experience one can have no service, no trained staff and above all very unprofessional. from down the line to deputy manager everybody transfers his job . nobody is bothered about customer . I will not suggest anybody to buy the godrej eon 300 lt refrigerator.
I am also facing all above problems i think Godrej has given the service contract to very unskilled team hence all the consumers are facing same problem.The Godrej team needs to take up this matter seriously and appoint only skilled technicians when they outsource the services.

Cooling Problem
I have purchased Godrej Refrigerator (Model: GDP-195on 8the Jan 2012.
There was cooling problem in my fridge. The first complaint no z[protected] which I made to Godrej Service Centre (Toll Free No. [protected])was in thee monthe of 26the September12. Since theen I am struggling to resolve theis problem. Following are thee details of thee work carried by thee Godrej technicians so far.

1. In first visit of technicians from Godrej, theey said gas problem after two days on 1st Oct technician filled thee gas again.
2. Withein two days again thee cooling problem again observed. theen again lodge complain This time Godrej technicians said again gas problem
here it is important to note theat theey did not do any testing to check whetheer thee gas is really leaking. While asking how theey are sure theat thee gas is leaking, theey said theat it is theeir experience. now thee otheer technician will come to fill gas..
3.after two days technician filled again gas but cooling problem still observed on thee next day.
we again file complain no[protected]
4. on 12the Oct 12 Godrej Technicians visit and told it will be taken to our work shop for repairing but as on today 15the Oct2012 no body came to lift thee refrigerator.
theere is a casual approach by godrej technical /sales and service and our vegetable and milk etc are spoiling due to refrigerator. i think this refrigerator having mfanufacturing defect so it should be replaced withe new one since it is in one year gurantee period..
