HCL Me Tablet — too much time for warranty repair

My hcl laptop having a defective dvd drive was submitted to hcl service center Rudrapur on 3-june 2008 but no repairs have been done up till now(18-june-2008)

MY WARRANTY CARD HAS BEEN LOST BY SERVICE CNETRE IN PUNE . THEY HAVE GIVEN ME COPY OF SERVICE THAT DID THERE. BUT I AM FACING A LOT OF PROBLEMS FOR WARRANTY(LAPTOP PROBLEMS ON TFT, M.B) MY SERIAL NO IS 8074AX079303, MODEL NO-HCLNB, MODEL NO-P19.
I GOT THIS SYSYTEM IN COLLEGE ( ALARD SCHOOL OF BUSINES MGMT) DURING MBA COURSE.DOP-24-8-07 FOR 2 YEARS FROM CHENNAI.

how meny time we can extence our warrenty.

I am tried by using the service process of hcl.
it is so slow... although it take 2 or 3 month to send a part...
i want to sale my laptop and buy a local computer. by local company...

it lives in service center 3 or 4 month in a year...
