MY SYSTEM IS HCL LAPTOP P 2827 MODEL & SL NO. IS 8084AX066642. DVD DRIVE IS NOT SENSING DVDs PROPERLY OR ELSE TAKES MUCH LONGER TIME TO DO IT SOMETIMES IT EXTENDS TO 30 MIN. WRITER TOO IS FACING SAME PROBLEM. WITH VCDs DRIVE IS NOT FACING THAT MUCH OF PROBLEM.

We have purchased an HCL TFT and the same got faulty after 2-3 months o[censored]sage. When given back to HCL Authorized Service Center for repair/replacement, the same is still not repaired/replaced by HCL team even after 3 months of depositing. I would like to narrate my real life experience with this company!

I joined the company on 15th December 2008, had undergone Voice & Accent Training under Ms Richa Sharma, successfully cleared the assessment but unfortunately I was a part of the group who could not be absorbed in any Process and hence we were asked to leave the company on 21st January 2009.At the time of leaving, we were told by our concerned HR Mr Sriram Bhagat that our Full and Final payment (which includes the salary for the entire 1 month and 6 days that I worked for HCL)will reach us positively within 20 days. Unfortunately nothing came by the promised time period and whenever we used to call Mr Bhagat, we used to get a standard reply like that of a voice recording machine that the process is getting completed within next 1 week and hopefully we will get a call from HCL to collect our F & F cheque. Needless to say that at the time of writing this review I am still waiting and nothing has materialised even after 3 months of submitting my forced resignation.

I am really amazed to note that a petty F & F payment needs so much time to get processed by a company who has built a goodwill throughout the globe over the last 30 years for its HR practices. Also the company is headquartered in Noida itself, hence any possible delay in courier is also ruled out. In my previous company which is also an equally world renowned brand, Times Of India, where I worked for a total period of 6 years, my full and final was processed from Mumbai and I had received both the cheques of my F & F as well as my Provident Fund within 30 days of my date of relieving.

I am also shocked to know that nobody has any clue regarding the above matter and everybody directs me to Mr Sriram Bhagat who is a bloody Voice recording machine to us to say the least. In fact I personally visited their N2 centre and met Mr Vijay Pratap Singh who was my recruiter but it seems apparently that he was also clueless in this regard and we have to rely entirely on the whims and fancies of Mr Bhagat.

I am still in contact with some of my colleagues who were also forced to submit their resignation on that fateful night, and some of them are still struggling to get a decent job till date, and they are finding it real difficult to mange their daily household expenses as most of them are outstation candidates.

I have already written a stern warning to one of their senior HR person Mr Amit Bhandari that if my pending dues are not resolved within the next fortnight, I would be forced to take help from my previous employer The Times Of India.Since I have worked with them for last 6 years, it would take me one day to go to the Business Times editorial and publish the entire story which would not only expose the harsh reality of the company’s HR policies but it would tarnish the so called rosy picture that the company portrays in front of the corporate world. Unfortunately Mr Bhandari also seems to be a mute spectator to our problems in spite of being from the HR and I am yet to get a reply from him in this regard.

I am writing this review in order to make all those youngsters, many of those who might be thinking of starting their career with this company, aware of the harsh realities of this apparently world renowned Indian MNC. This is a serious messege from somebody who has already fallen prey to this worthless company, Pl do not be lured by the flashy advertisements of this company, aired on TV, think again before joining there!! Also can somebody be kind enough to take me out of these doldrums!!!

in this system very fast heating problem, and when i start my lapi for lisning meusic than coming a diffrent type of voice

1. Refer Cmplaint No. 120302( Pune service center)

2. I purchased this PC in Mar 07 which is uder 36 months warranty till mar 2010.

Soon after initial installation its SMPS gone faulty and was replaced.
since then yhe cpu is making huge noise. after lodging 2 complaints, nothing was done. now the PC restarts automatically and sometimes does'nt even starts.
Every time the engineer comes and takes the SMPS & fan an fit back after 01 week saying that every thing is fine. but the problem remains. The rsponse is so bad that it takes almost 01 month for the engineer to come to site after registering the complaint.
I'm so fed up with the service that i feel like approaching ssome local mechanic and getting things done on my own. may be i deserve this by taking such foolish decision to by a branded PC instead of a assembled one.

Dear Sir/Ma'm

In my continuing attempt to getmy laptop fixed, I am again writing to you hoping that HCL believes in customer satisfaction and retaining them. I have been regualarly complaining for my laptop to your officials in Noida, Jaipur and the dealer in Jodhpur Let me brief you abotu the happenings:

My CD WRITER was not working properly (20th Aug 2008) for which Nero software was changed, but the writer cover original plate was missing when i got back my laptop. Its missing till date, I have been asking for it regularly though.
My card reader for which when I complained, I was asked to leave the laptop. When I got it back with a new mother board after 15days, the touchpad's right side button was not working & three caps of laptop under the screen were not at their place along with a screw on the CD writer side which was loose/unlocked. Since then processing speed of the laptop has been terribly poor.On my intimation of the same they repaired the touchpad button but it was not at its original position. They fitted the old Caps again saying that they were new which were in actual stuck with some glue on my laptop!! Moreover my laptop's body was found with a crack from one side which I showed to your authorised engineer in Jodhpur.The engineer assured me to discuss the problem with the Rajasthan service head (engineer). This is also in the knowledge of HCL officials in head office NOIDA and they have given me a complaint no. 090309/25 on Mar 9, 2009.
As a matter of fact, I have realised that i do not want to

give this laptop for servicing any more as each time its condition is being deteriorated by your team instead of treating it.
I am really sorry for the tone of the letter but it's really tough for any human to see his laptop getting depreciating for no good reason! I request you again to look into the matter or replace or change my laptop asap or suggest me any better way to resolve the issue as I don not want escalate the same in some other manner. My laptop details are as follows:
