Sir/Ma'am, I had made a NEFT funds transfer from HDFC A/c to Indian Overseas Bank A/c on the 6th of June, 2008. The details are below: HDFC IFSC Code: HDFC0000240 INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK IFSC Code: IOBA0000677 (beneficiary) Transaction Reference: HD[protected] Amount: Rs. 40, 000 I have checked with IOB but havent received the credit of funds yet. With the facts given, it appears that your deposited money may be held with the HDFC possibly due to network error or some other reasons. Write to HDFC and ask them to clarify. And also you follow similar exercise with IOB. In the meanwhile, the documents/evidences that you have preserve it for future use. Compare both the written response and still if you feel aggrieved, seek lawyer's advice who has consumer interests and experience, else write to us, we shall accordingly guide you.
