I Ramesh Babu I have a TVS Victor on finance from Centurian Bank Bangalore, I have paid all emi (Amount) and nothing pending from my end, but bankers side showing 8k+pending, And i spoke to the Bank person Balaji & Krishna 7 they clearly told me that mistake is from their end (Bankerside) they promised to clear this issue asap. and will issue the NOC, But last 2 months i am trying to get the NOC

    Hi, I am having account in HDFC Lajpat Nagar Branch, which is my salary account. On the 4th of November one wrong ECS has been debited from account for amount Rs. 833.33/-, which is not related to me, I have complained at Cusotmer Care of HDFC, they reverted me for that the ECS Mandate for the said amount has been sent to you branch, which is signed by me, when i have visited the branch, the bank has shown me the signature which is not signed by me, even bank officicals says that it it not matching with my signature.
    I am not getting any solutions from HDFC Bank.
    Please help me..

    I HAD SALERY ACCOUNT WITH BANDRA BRANCH. I HUMBEL REQUEST YOU ALL PLEASE DONT APPLY FOR ANY ECS THROUGH HDFC BANK.
    THERE WAS AN ECS DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT ON 5 MAR OF 2000/ WHICH I HAD NOT APPLIED FOR.BANK SAYS THAT THEY HAD APPROVED MY ECS ON BASIS OF CHEQUE. BUT IN THAT CHEQUE MY SIGNATURE WAS NOT MACHING.REQUEST YOU ALL NOT TO GIVE ANY BLANK CHEQUE FOR ANY ECS ITS RISKY MORE THEN 2 MONTHS HAD BEEN PASSED BUT NO RESULTS FROM THERE END. DO NOT APPLY FOR ECS AS THEY DONT VERIFY YOUR SIGNATURE AND JUST DEDUCT THE AMMOUNT.AS IF ITS THERE MONEY

      I have one credit card machine of HDFC BANK installed at my shop for last 2 years. Now without informing me Bank has started charging Rs. 500 rent per month.
      I am requesting HDFC Bank Officials to with draw the macine from September 2008, they continously assured me to reverse the rent charges but nothing done neither reversing the charges nor they are withdrawing the machine.
      So I am deciding to go to Consumer Court against the HDFC BANK.
      Dear sir,
      I have one credit card machine of HDFC BANK installed at my service centre for last 8 years. Now the machine was not work. but already inform for your Servicing centre. The Service person said to Now the time not yet new machine .This rettified the problem with in 2 days clear it.

        FORCED POLICY
        POLICY NO.12100157

        My need to have a locker landed me into forcibly taking ‘HDFC Standard Life Insurance’.

        I approached the HDFC bank Greater Kailash-1 branch. on 8-Aug-2998.I was promised a locker for one year on the condition if I deposited money in a fixed deposit account for one year. They demanded 5 lakhs I agreed for two lakhs.

        They made me sign on the dotted lines on a bunch of papers which I did in good faith.

        I received the ‘Savings Assurance Policy’ by post ( Ref No.: 12100157 AWB No. # [protected] Blue Dart Courier) on 10- sept-2008

        On around 4-5th of Oct. 2008 I came to know through someone it was not a fixed deposit for one year but a 10 year plan where I had to deposit the same amount every year for the next 10 years. I refuted him by saying that since I have been offered a locker for one year why should the bank take a deposit for 10 years. He laughed it out and told me that I have been conned.

        Excited with frustration I visited the branch early morning the next day and confronted the agents and asked them as to why the period of the fixed deposit of 10 years was never disclosed to me. Instead of giving me a straight answer they began extolling the virtues of the scheme and eulogized the features of the policy.

        I reasoned out by telling them that as a 53 years old with lots of ailments as also not financially capable I would never ever opted for any long term deposit scheme/policy were I aware.

        I vehemently told them that I was not interested in the said policy and offered to withdraw. I also offered to surrender the locker if that was the condition.
        They showed their inability for rectification saying the 15 days ‘Option to return’ was also over. I was furious. I questioned them as to why this important piece of information that was vital to the policy not disclosed to me initially.. They had nothing to say. I was miserable.
        We all are aware of the marketing agents who in their zest and enthusiasm to accomplish their sinister task of meeting the target assigned to them and be in the good books of their bosses play crafty.

        There is a thin boarder line between cheating and not disclosing everything.

        Since time immemorial the role of agents has been one of trust and faith. They were always committed to offer services that deepened our trust in them.

        Was it not obligatory on the part of the agent/staff while initiating me into the schemes/policy to disclose each and every aspect of it as also to inform me about the time span, purpose of investment and most importantly keeping my age in mind?


        The two very important piece of information which is vital to the scheme was not disclosed to me :
        1. The tenure of 10 years.
        2. The ‘Option to Return’ within 15 days from the date of
        receipt of the policy document.

        It is also pertinent to note that I would have wasted not a single moment had I been informed of the ‘Option to Return’ policy and avoided being afflicted with misery and disgust.

        IIn the above circumstances I hereby request you once again to kindly refund my money as I do not wish to continue with the policy for reasons as stated above.
        I do hope you would treat my complaint fairly in good faith and in time without prejudice failing which I would have no option but to have recourse to all the avenues open to the aggrieved consumers to get justice.

        In trust is truth and truth is mighty and will prevail.

        SUB: - REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES AGAINST HDFC BANK & STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE CORP. PATNA (EXIBITION ROAD

        1. That I invested Rs 2, 00, 000 in HDFC Standard Life Insurance (vide cheque no. 0506129 dated 13 Sep 2007)
        2. I contacted the bank so many times to the then bank manager Mr Sudhanshu Mohan and Abhay Kumar: the policy manager, from abroad. And I was assured that your policy for Rs. 2, 00, 000 has been done (email evidence). To my surprise there was no such truth to my avail.
        3. On 30th July 2008, I visited the Bank and I enquired about my policy of two lakh. Mr Amit Balajee met with me because Mr. Sudhanshu Mohan & Mr Abhay Kumar had left the bank. (The reasons for leaving the bank is skeptical).Then Mr Balajee disclosed verbally that only one lakh has been invested in the said policy. The effective date of policy is 02, February, 2008 as mentioned by Mr Balajee. The Manager deposited the remaining Rs 1, 00, 000 to my NRE A/c no.[protected] vide cheque no. 0038334 dated[protected] from a/c no. [protected] ( HDFC SLIC ) after 10 months .And deposited 3500/- to my wife’s a/c no. [protected] Mrs Chandani Kumari. as a compensation.
        4. I requested Mr. Balajee to surrender my policy which has never been in force because till date I am not in possession of it. Also even if the bank offers me the policy I would not accept for the simple reasons that a bank can’t look after their customers in normal time what about after an eventuality. To this effect a written application dated 11/10/2008 has been submitted to the bank after clear assurance from the Bank Manager that the money ( Rs 1, 00, 000 ) would be remitted back to you with a handsome compensation.

        The Under mentioned facts are to be explored.

        I. Where my funds (Rs.1, 00, 000) were allocated for 10 months. The compensation i.e. 3500/- isn’t it too meagre. I am sure there is an embezzlement of funds by the bank
        II. Since the policy was not created why I was not informed where as I was in touch with the bank thru emails /Phone calls and even my brother Rajeev Kr visited the bank or else should have been deposited in my account.
        III. Why I was not informed despite my so many endeavours to know the status of my policy for Rs 2, 00, 000.
        IV. Where are the policy letter/Bond papers? Which the bank asserted has been created (w.e.f. 02 Feb, 2008).
        V. If at all the policy is created in my favour as they say I.e. w.e.f. Feb, 2008. Whereas the funds were debited from[protected].Why so late, The Bank played with my funds for more than 4 months.
        VI. Who should be held responsible for this period where as I was without an insurance cover and nevertheless for one lakh only while as I was under an apprehension that I have invested 2 Lakh for better insurance cover.
        VII. The expanses borne by me to call from abroad, personal visits to and fro Begusarai to Patna.
        VIII. Above all the mental stress due to which I m suffering from Hyper Tension and under going treatment.


        I am sure your good office would judge all the presented facts in the light of just and would ensure the grievances are redressed in the right perspective.

          i was an employ of artch infosystem Noida. Artech out source their employes to IBM Gurgaon. So the day one i was out sourced to IBM gurgaon and was staying there in sector 31. i am having my salary account with HDFC bank from artech . i applied for a credit card in HDFC. which they nevver nformed whether approved or rejected. after some months when i left the Artech and moved to new place( after 6-7 months) i got a call form HDFC bank that my bill amount of 58000/ is due for credit card. Really i shocked. they start calling me and threatning me. then i called in there customer care what thay are saying :

          1. Credit card is received by my PA. whose name is suprena.

          2. credit card is deliverd in Noida address.

          Now i raise this questions to bank:

          1. I never stayed in Noida as i was outsuored to gurgaon and staying there only. so i never have to go to Nioda and never asked bank to deliver it to Nioda.

          2. why bank not informed me that my credit card is issued.

          3. when bank knows am a software enginer and having no PA ( is it possiblr to have PA for software engineer that too with company having 3000 employees ).

          4. how they can deliver my credit card to PA when i do not mention it any where.

          5. did that PA has any auhorization from me with my identity proof. beccause credit card is handover only to the concerned person that too with identity proof. here the bank ( corrier company ) hand over it to unknown person.

          6. when they issue the card thay have make a call to me that thay are going to make it active.

          7. i do not get nay call or bill statement from bank at nay time.

          8. now they are asking for 58000 rs.

          when i raised this qustion therer executive was calm and now after 1 year they are again demanding the same and threatning for court case.


          even i wanna esclate it to media as well as in consumer court. Pl help.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I m Vikramjeet Kaushal, Two-Three yrs back I was applied for HDFC BANK Credit Card, but I was never recieved the same, Now HDFC BANK people send executives at my residence to pay the bill of Credit Card which I was never recieved, They send me notice from Patiala House Court as they file a complaint against me.

          HDFC BANK want to pay a sum of Rs.36385.71/- by me.

          Pls help me out what to do????

            i m costmer of HDFC Bank credit VISA GOLD card .actually i m from jaipur & still in mumbai last 1
            year and useing credit card also in mumbai. i dont have a local bank a/c. when i make my payment with outsation cheqck .hdfc bank 50/- charge on me .beacuse it was outsation cheqck .when make my payment by cash .they again come with the fine in my statement .beacuse they want local bank cheqck for the deposite .
            please help me out .wht can i do. if i pay by cash then i will get fine AND if i pay by cheqck
            then i will get also fine both the hands. i have payes fine .

[protected], valid thru 10/08) and I came to know that the there is some over dues are balance on me, but customer care is not providing any details. I am calling to your collection dept no also at Lucknow and Delhi from last 3 days but no body is picking up the ph.

            Dear Team,

            I hereby informed you that i will face a lot of problem by using this hdfc credit card. I here send all the details for purchasing & card payment. Details is given below :

            We had issue credit card by hdfc bank card no [protected] credit limit 15000/-

            I have used the credit limit of my credit card and unable to pay the amount due to a lost the job

            I have received a call from HDFC Bank regarding my credit card payment then I have settled the Card on 25/08/2008 in Rs. 13, 200/- by eight installments. The executive who settled my card said that the mode of payment would be cheque.

            I have left the job from previous employer and joined a new company. They have opened my new salary account with HDFC Bank, ashram road branch ahmedabad.

            approx suptember month when my salary transferred in my HDFC A/c. When I went to HDFC ATM to withdraw my salary I can’t withdraw my salary. I brought this matter in front of bank executives they told me that your salary was hold by Credit Card Department, and you have to contact them.

            I was very shocked that Credit Card Department has hold my salary without giving any information to me. When I visit to Credit Card Department at gurukul road satellit ahmedabad branch they told me that your salary was hold due to non payment of credit card and you have a outstanding amount Rs. 37000/- approx, your salary would not be released and you have to pay Rs. 20000/- excluding the blocked salary amount i.e Rs. 11274/-.

            I want to settle this card by paying the rest of my settled amount.[protected] = 9600) in two installments. So I request you to release my salary from my account so that I can pay installment.

            also we have received every time called on my cell no he told me "he call to rajashan police station & his have received arrest warrant against me his no is[protected] & he given advocate cell no [protected]" & i anable tocall to advocate due to we have not available std facility in my mobile.

            so pls do the needfull & clear this chepter.

              Hi,
              This Rakesh chandra. Just to tell, how bad ICICI bank can be.
              I had an CENTURION BANK OF PUNJAB (CRDIT CARD). I wanted to settle the card, but on contacting the customer care of CBOP, I came to know that, the bank has been taken over by ICICI bank, then I spoke to one of ICICI BANK official (RAKESH BINJOLA, [protected]), and he assured me of a settlement, but finally Rs. 50000/- was auto debited from my account, and whenever I tried to speak to BINJOLA, he never responded to me or to my emails. This all didn't stop here, After 6 months, they again debited Rs. 20000/- from my account, and this time also, there is no one to listen to me.

              After debiting first time, they didn't issue any settlement letter, and went on robbing me.

              I would like to tell this bank (ICICI BANK) is a bank of robbers, who, rob onto there customers, and employees like BINJOLA should be sacked immediately.

              I am looking forward for a help, and want departments to teach a lesson to this bank, otherwise, it would keep robbing people like this only.

              centurion credit card — without instruction how debit from my salary account

              I have a salary account no[protected] in icici bank, siliguri.I have a credit card of Centurian bank of panjab.my credit limit was 20000/- but i expenced 19000/- in the last year.Rs.6000/- already paid.After the payment due to some problems i can't continue the payment.when company is agree for settlement with me with Rs.16000/- in two instalment.Than how can they instruct to bank for autodebit Rs.34504/-(current bill)from my salary account, without my instruction.Now my account is showing (-)balance.I have the settlement letter which is given by icici bank credit card collection agency on 28/03/08.
              I have faced the same problem with this guy Rakesh Binjola, he assured me to settle my credit card due at very low prices, The total outstanding was Rs 90, 000/- and he has taken advance of Rs 10, 000/- from me to settle my all dues on 20, 000/- but after taking me Rs 10, 000/- he has lost,

              After continuous follow ups with banks nobody has to be responded about this fellow Rakesh Binjola ([protected])

              I request ICICI BANK Kindly sacked immidiately (Rakesh Binjola), who, rob into there customers, and make ICICI BANK feel bad beacause if this Binjola Rakesh
              I also wanna to share my bad experiance with you about this guy Mr Rakesh Binjola & Mr Chandra ([protected]) who have used the citibank credit card of Rs 100, 000 and at payment time they gave me excuses that Mr Rakesh Binjola will pay & sometime says Mr Chandra will Pay as discussed with Rakesh binjola the matter was short out @ Rs 20, 000/- but he never ever paid the money.
              Pls dont issue any credit card, loan to him
              If is he the same guy who working with ICICI Bank than i (amichand) will requested bank to sack him out and terminate him with immdiate effect or bank than do sting operation or verification against him

                Hdfc Bank has sent me a message on 19/11/08 at 10.00am that they have courieredmy cheque book on18/11/08. They have said that it will reach me within 3 working days. I waited all these days for the courier, but today I hv to go out of station at 12pm and so far I have not received the courier. I will be returning on 1/12/08. Now I would like to know the reason of delay and what will the company do to help me out. I am also sending the same complaint to HDFC bank so please do not return the cheque book saying person not found at home. Please contact me on[protected] and let me know how you will deliver my cheque book.

                Its important for me because i have not any cheque book. I have require urgent basis.

                  I have a Bike Laon with your bank. I appreciate your customer services.I pay my EMI on time. Last time when I have a express laon with your bank, make many dispute & my bike laon EMI has been bounced again & again...

                    My password which was sent through Express IT Courier on 23rd of Oct, 2008 has not reached me... and they say they have wrong address on their records...
                    I wonder how after three long years of sending the communications to the same address... they find that address wrong on their records.

                    Disgusting...

                    Even Express IT Courier have a very bad service... I had to call them often to track my consignment

                      I used HDFC bank debit card for paying my mob. bill of rs.2393 /- on 11th nov at alipore vodafone store, where they swiped card once but still when i checked ATM mini statement it reflected same amt debited twice from mya/c same day surprisingly.
                      after wrtiting to vodafone they arranged transacction details where swiping card partner citibank confirmed over mail that they received only once the amt.which has been mailed by vodafone to me also stating that the duplicate fund was with HDFC bank only.when i contacted HDFC bank for the same they said the process will take 30days for the money to be credited back to my a/c.this is really funny .

                      1. why for HDFC bank internal sys. prob i will suffer as consumer?
                      2.the money is mine and how and why you have blocked it ? under which RBI rule?
                      3. i gathered all relevant doc from other merchant banking partner i.e. citibank and vodafone clearly stating that the fund is lying at HDFC bank, if so then why the money is not credited back at my a/c till now?

                      4. its been more than 15 days and today i was told by mr bhandari (HDFC NEW ALIPORE-KOLKATA MANAGER)it will take 30days time to credit tback the money which is ridiculous!


                      HDFC bank simply remained as onlooker for the entire event and it speaks o[censored]tter negligence.

                      I as a customer under no circumstances should be harassed like this for your internal problems.and the time enrgy and money involved in the entire case has a value attached which cant be neglected by you but your new alipore bank manager has acted as if its anormal case and it reflected stubborn behaviour while adressing me saying" it will take time you do whatever"..

                      I WANT HDFC to compensate me for this harassment caused to me wasting my time and also for blocking my money for no reason for so long..

                        ATTN: HDFC BANK USERS :Your online bank account is at risk. its not secured any more.

                        I, Parikshit have Savings bank account in HDFC Powai Branch. On 22-sep-08 my account was debited by 996.00 INR and I received SMS on my cell phone the same time I called your customer care and informed that this transaction was not done by me, so kindly do the needful they have disabled my Internet Banking and gave me the case Number #[protected], I called back again on 23rd and spoke with Khushbu at around 11:39 AM, She gave me another Case Number stating this is new case number #[protected] on the same day I spoke with her Manager Greg. he said that I will receive call which I never received, I made several calls to Customer care then they told me to contact Nearest branch, so I visited your Evershine Nagar (Malad) Branch, I have submitted the letter which talks about the phishing transaction happened on my account. I received call once from Divya Joshi stating we are working on this and will get back to you which she never did so I again made call on 26-Oct-08 and spoke with Shahista after being on phone for so long she disconnected the call and called back and then I spoke with her manager Dhaval and he said that he will get back to me or some one will call me back from my home branch but I haven’t received any call, I called back again and spoke with Vaibhav from Complaint department he also told the same thing, spoke with his manager Greg and this time he asked me to contact my home branch which I did I contacted Powai Branch on[protected] and spoke with Silvy Abraham she works as a PB Authorizer in powai branch, she told me that they are still working on it and she will call me. I waited and then decided to contact your Grievance Cell which I did and spoke with Shabnam on[protected] at around 11:09 AM and she gave me another case which is TF[protected] and she asked me to wait for another 2 days. But not reply again I called on 13th Nov 08 and spoke with Harshad and he said the same that wait for 1 day as their is bank holiday. I have made several calls to your Customer care but no one seems to help me and they said we will call you within 2 days but no on call back Very poor customer service. Online banking is not secured at all with HDFC bank.

                        I am asking them to at least provide me the Cell phone which was recharged so that I can handle the situation from my end but that too you people are not providing me, I am really very disappointed with the kind of service you guys are providing to your customers.

                        I've cancelled tickets from irctc through gateway payment and cancelled it due to some legal reasons.I've not recieved my payment debited to my account as promised and written in terms and conditions by the irctc itself.I would believe the complaint would resolve soon.Thank you.

                          I have lost Rs 1, 09, 000/- through HDFC netbanking Third party transfer by some unauthorised person .

                          HDFC is not giving any support nor any proper response, every time they changing their commitments and dialogues.since 40 days.

                          The blame goes to HDFC bank because of their un secured netbanking service compared to other banks netbanking.

                          How HDFC is responsible by their unsecured service as follows.

                          1.) HDFC customer care operator service is only between 8:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M.

                          culprits have done such transactions only on weekends where is no proper customer service.now-a-days every bank is providing 24X7 customer care service.
                          if such 24x7 service was available i could have requested for stop payment service soon after receiving the SMS alert.

                          2.) There is only one single password for netbanking login. where as other banks have provided multiple passwords like transaction id, transaction password, security device, other logical combination of code printed on back side of the ATM card.

                          HDFC doesnt have any such double security system . one password is leaked any sort of transaction can be done which is fully unsecured service.

                          3.) By default the Limit for TPT is 5.0 lacs. actually it should start from lesser value. But for cash withdrawl it is fixed at lesser value.

                          hence a chance for the hacker to sweep out the complete balance amount less that 5.0 lacs.

                          4.) In order to add a beneficiary account for TPT it takes 24 hours time to get registered but what actually does the process do for 24 hours as there is no relation security check between the beneficiary name and account number.
                          where as in cheque name of the beneficiary is important but in TPT funds transfer there is no such relation.

                          This point should be noted.

                          5.) You have provided virtual keyboard as a security for entering login details customer-id and password but at the same time if by mistake user enters from hard keyboard of the PC it accepts, then where is the security, there is no purpose of giving Virtual keyboard.
                          Actually when the provision comes for entering customer-id and password the system should not accept from hard keyboard.such service is available with all other banks.

                          6.) Since my money has been transfered to culprits account in another branch of HDFC bank then it is HDFC responsibility for reversal of the amount by any means.
                          Since the culprit person is absconding then HDFC verification team is also responsible for this as that culprit customer also holds gold debit card.
                          ther should be several proof documents to be submitted to get the gold debit card but HDFC has issued to a tom-dick 'n' harry customers.

                          Kindly help me in this regard .

                          i fell it very hard as iam alone in this struggle.

                          HDFC Bank — double amount debited instead of once

                          I am a customer of HDFC bank(previously Centurion Bank Of Punjab limited). My account is in Faridkot branch(Punjab). I purchased a trouser costing Rs.450 from Priknit apparels limited, jalandhar, lajpat nagar showroom through my debit card(Maestro) on 2nd October, 2008. The amount was debitted from my account twice, but the company(Priknit) received the payment only once. On raising a query, the bank gave me neither a satisfactory answer nor some solution..though i contacted my home branch also. They say we cannot do anything.. But i want to know why i am being charged the double amount? Who will pay the extra amount? I want a proper solution for this problem.

                          You should not have accessed the netbanking from an unsecured system. I am accessing HDFC from years. I always use my own system. You do not want all thousands o[censored]sers to suffer due to HDFC's increased security measures just because you have failed to take preventive measures. Anyway I am not blaming you. You have lost your money. And I understand what it feels like. If you keep on adding security measures there wont be any real use of such system. Instead of saving time, we will loose time. HDFC is a very paranoid bank in my experience compared to ICICI etc. I hope you don't want them to close the Netbanking service, Do you? Because that is the only way they could have prevented it from happening. I agree to you
                          r views on what they could have done to resolve it. I think a Police Case will do that. You can even file a complaint to RBI. But make sure that your claim is correct. Dont point on security measures. Talk about what they are supposed to do(but not done).

                              I am having Credit Card of HDFC Bank. There was a service to pickup up the cheque for outstanding balance before due date. Till date no body comes to pickup and nop body even bothers to call back.

                              I submitted the complaint by phone banking. They (bank representative) apologies and told me that no extra charges will be levied upon. But the charges were there on new statement.
                              I asked in writing for the clarification and reversal of charges before I pay the cleared amount. They (bank representative) did the reversal and again put charges in next statement.

                              This thing is going on from 3 months but bank is not taking appropriate actions to solve the issue and unnecessary harassing me for paying the minimum amount. Please guide what to do. My email is [protected]@gmail.com

                              I have get charged as late payment fee Rs. 500 on 29/4/2009 because of i drop my credit card on your drop box but its hounered on 29/4/2009 even i drop my cheque before 20th of every monh its clear after due date, then i stopped i deposit my cheque in HDFC Bank clearing counter afterwards i do not have any late payment fee.

                              But I requested in you customer service center on every month to reversel of Rs 500 charged on 29/4/2009 after getting my credit carrd statement. each time your customer service center giving taking request and neglecting to revers my payment "THEY ASSURING ME LIKE REVERSEL IS HAPPAN TECHNICALLY ITS NOT REFLECTED IN YOU STATEMENT IT WILL REVESE IN NEXT STATEMENT " same answer i am geting in every month . kindly i request you please reverse the same

                              HDFC Bank Credit Card — Harassing by putting unnecessary charges

                              Hi,

                              I am holding HDFC Bank credit card for quite some time. They are charging too much of money for the credit card bill. There is unnecessary charges for the credit card finance charges. They are not ready for any negotiation or settlement. They are harassing their customer. Please take some action against them. If at all I ask them why the finance charges so much when I have not done any transactions, their answer is simple- If you pay minimum amount then finance charges will be maximum. Then what a poor person will do? Will he serve them through out his life as if he has sold his head to them by taking their card?

                              Please Please Please do something and take me out of this situation.

                                I had deposited an ICICI bank chq in my HDFC account on 12th Nov and ICICI had debited my account on 12th itself but HDFC bank has given credit for this cheque only on 15th Nov evening as a result of which my EMI chq dated 15th Nov was returned. I can't understand how local cheques take 4 days to clear incl deposit date - though in my account on 14th they have shown credit but with value date of 15th. Why can;t credit be given on 15th morning and honour my EMI chq. HDFC has charged me Rs. 350 as chq return charges even though amount is available and Hsg loan I have to pay chq return charges

                                HDFC Bank — CHEQUE CLEAR BEFORE CHQ DATE

                                Hi iam Sagar Luthra, i have a saving account on Hdfc Bank, i have given the chq o[censored]fci bank at jaipur dated 13 aug and it was cleared by Hdfc Bank on 12 of Aug. This was happen twice earlier on march it was get cleared on 11 and on chq the date is 13 APRIL.i have done a lot of complaints but nothing was happening iam fed up with their services and suffering a lot what should i do...

                                HDFC Bank — Cheque clearance delay

                                HDFC Bank is the worst bank in terms of operation and ethics. I had deposited a cheque on 3rd August 2011 but it is still not being shown in the account.
                                Moreover the customer care takes infinity to respond and they conveniently respond after the problem has been solved.

                                  Respected Sir,

                                  This is to inform you that in regard to outstanding amount against my credit card. I wish to inform that I am regular in paying my installments against the loan of my card. I hadbeen a regular payee against all bill of my credit card time to time but 2 months before I had deposited in hdfc drop box. a chq. of SBI anandapuri branch of rs 3000., which has been collected by your collection department but it has not gone for clearance at my banker due to misplace by your people of the same which bank has accepted by apologying & one reversal letter.Then I starte geting phone calls from your collection agency & they start making my life hell irrespected of paying the amount again.I had to stop the chq from my bank which costed rs 100 from my account.HDFC have blocked my card by without informing me by showing overdue for rs 175 rs only. One side we are told that we are a gold customer for the bank by issuing a gold card and on the other hand we are forced to feel that the bank is robbing us. From the credit card services point of view the definition of customer in my eyes is now take cust and mar. More apart from that I even geting threat calls from Mr. ARINDAM KHASNABISH( Mob no. [protected]) seema service addressal pvt ltd&global recovery talks like a paid muscleman or goons of HDFC bank.He is sending his people daily basis for rs. 175 only & harrasing like anything with abusive language. I am 65 years old, retaired bank employee, a cardiac and bloodsugar patient but never seen this type of harrasment. Your customer care call center is absolutely meaningless. He talks like a parrot. Your local banks did not entertain any credit card complains. Such infrastructure of customer care is been made by the bank intentionally so that customer can not do any thing by complaining locally with bank’s branch office resulting in increase in outstanding amount which is the sole purpose of the bank in order to earn more. In other terms the white paper method for robbing the customer. I am very much disappointed. In fact there is no transparency in the credit card business from your bank.I am very much disturbed and scared therefore I have loddged a local police complain agaist unwanted people at my residence. I have made up a mind to not to pay any extra charges, if required I will take this case to your Chairman or Director, Consumer Court, RBI, Finance Ministry and Media. I would also like to see what benefits does my bank give to a gold card customer or what is the mission and quality policy or objectives does my bank have from customer point of view. Is it justified that one side Government of India is waiving the loans of our “Kissan Bhai” and other side my bank HDFC are finding out the unethical ways, methods and means to earn money? Kindly Take necessary action against my complain immediately, otherwise HDFC will be responsible for all consiquence of my life& my health.

                                  I have an Hdfc Bank gold card. I had taken loan Rs 20000=00.My monthly EMI is 987.45 RS. i was a regular payer of the MInimum amount due. unfortunately after paid 1st EMI installment i had not got my credit card bills so i hadnt paid the minimum amount for some days. After that I paid All EMI installment in regular basis.I have not received anytype of statement from bank. But bank agents harrasement me by phone.

                                  so pls try and solve my problem.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I opened my HDFC bank account on 17-09-08 and till today I cannot withdraw money from my bank account. I joined Accenture on 17-09-08.On 29-10-08 my salary was credited to my HDFC account. I was unable to withdraw money. I met Asha (who opened the account) on 03-11-08. She told me that they lost my employee Id. number. I gave her the employee Id. number then and there. Then Asha told me that the account will be activated on 08-11-08. On 08-11-08 she gave me a massage that due to some
                                      Technical problem it is not activated it will be activated on 09-11-08. On 10-11-08 she came with a new idea and told me that my signature is mismatching (which is not true). However, I gave her the identity proof with my signature on the very same day. Asha told me that the account will be activated on 12-11-08. She also made me to talk with her manager named Rahul, who also gave me the same information that the account will be activated on 12-11-08. On 12-11-08 when still cannot withdraw my own money I gave Asha a call at 9:45, she do not have any answer for this. Since, then everyday I go to Asha and she doesn’t know anything about my account. I called in Rahul as well reading this on 14-11-08 and he is willing to take any action and hung up the call.

                                      Please note:
                                      I was unable to pay my mobile bill on the due date even though I have money in my account.
                                      I was also unable to pay the quarterly premium on Nov. for my insurance.

                                      Kindly take strict legal action against HDFC and file a case in consumer court. If possible you can also provide me steps to file a case in consumer court
                                      and show me the path how to get compensated for this type of service.

                                      Hope a positive reply will come from you people.

                                      My name is sandeep kumar .I have salary account in HDFC and my salary A/C no.is [protected] .I deposit My salary checqe in hdfc bank and my checqe was clear.when i wanted to withraw my salary from my accout then i got information that my account is blocked.then i went to my nehru place branch on[protected].There I met with mr ayan and mr ayan is a personal banker in nehru place branch .I asked him why is my account blocked .He told me that your account is blocked because you mobile no was wrong. He told me that you will have to submit photostate copy of pan card and You will have to submit your original telephone no.I deposit photostate copy of my pan card and i gave my original telephone no.then mr ayan told me that your account will activate within 24 hours but my account was not activate even after two days.then i went again to my branch on[protected] then i again met with mr ayan and he told me that your account will activate within 24 hours.but my account has not activated even after four days. Therefore i want that you should take any action against mr ayan because it shows poor quality of hdfc bank of nehru place branch(hemkund chamber).please activate my salary account as soon as possible.i will be obliged to you.

                                      I am working for TATATELESERVICES Ltd, I have salary account in HDFC and my salary A/C no.is [protected], i have applied for a gold debit card, before sending the new debit card they have hotlisted the existing debit card, then i have got a message that they have sent threw Blue Dart courier, i have wait for 4 days, i didnt get any call from Ble Dart, then i call to HDFC CC, they have given Blue Dart phone no with pat no, i have enquired with Blue Dart CC, they told they have return to main branch Chennai, I have requested on HDFC CC pls send threw some other courier, thwy told within two days it will reach, again i wait for 4 days, now they are telling that it is at Banjara Hills branch, First of all how they have blocked the existing debit card without intimating to customer, Kindly take strict legal action against HDFC and file a case in consumer court.
