Please find the mail below which I have sent to HDFC Customer care.

Dear Mr Kaushik,

As per mail below you were sending me the letter related to investigation details. For your kind information till date I have not received any letter from HDFC.

Secondly, while investigation one of your executive Ms Rajni called me up for details and she also confirmed me that transactions were not made by me, some other person has done that transactions. And she was also supposed to send me the copy of that signed transaction slips, but till date even that slips also not courier to me.

Also, I am failed to understand few things, if possible kindly clarify the followings:
1) On 4th Nov, 08, when I register the complaint against wrong transactions total amount due towards my card was Rs 10, 806/- and now I am receiving the sms of outstanding Rs 13, 346/-(no statement has been received)
2) When I already requested that till the time dispute on my card will not solved I will not make any payments than why I am receiving calls from HDFC call centre to make payments.
3) I didn't request for any new card, why have you have sent me the new credit card and adding up the amounts.
4)When will I receive the current statement of my card and the transaction slips??

This all seems to flimsy. On one side your executive confirms me that yes transaction has not been done by me on other side you were sending me this kind of mails. I am receiving continuously sms and calls on due's. You guys don't have any coordination with each other department as when I called up the call centre(helpline) number they ere failed to satisfy my queries. I am in continuation of receiving the harassment calls from your executive to make the payments for no reason, if I want to know any detail on my dispute transactions than your executive were like"sorry we didn't know anything" as dispute department must have all this details. When the case is under investigation why cardholder should pay???

I would again like to clarify that I will not pay the amount for the wrongly charged transactions which was not belong to me. And I don't want to use any of HDFC credit card until and unless all this disputes will get resolved.

    Dear Sir,

    I hold a gold master card from HDFC, I am repenting for doing business with a worst bank like this, I am paying the minimum amount due but still they call me and threaten me and my family.

    My dad is an exservice men and a senior citizen who stays in my native mulky. These callers have called him asking about my whereabouts, when he told them that he is in bangalore they threatened him saying that he is trying to immetatite like my father.

    They cannot even make out the difference between a 65 year old senior citizen and 35 year old son.

    My family is disturbed and thinking of going to the police. I have just had problems in my work place because they call twenty times to my workplace also.

    I have decided to take them on legally and go for a settelmet as i have problems with my job.

    Today they called my office and gave me this number [protected] and told that it is from the legal department and i have to call them, They have threatened my office collegues saying that we want to come and thrash him.

    They are using vulgar language while speaking to me.

    I want to take action against them please advice.

    HDFC Bank Credit Card — Harrasment by debt collecters

    I have silver international card from HDFC, I am repenting for doing business with a worst bank like this, I am paying the minimum amount due but still they call me and threaten me and my family.
    I have the no. of Lucknow agencies[protected] from their me/my father regualarly getting calls.
    Lady callers alway talk with vulgar language with me and my father no.'s.
    I want to know the how they should talk with the customer like this.........
    They don't have the knowledge how to treat with a customer.
    As I was on official tour from a month back, and recently just join the office............
    thats why i couldn't submit my minimum due amount only Rs. 800 eight hundread.
    Can u revert me that for just simple amount, they are treating us like this...........
    I am going to take legel action against them .................

    I am also one of the 1000s facing the same problem...


    HDFC cheap staff, got hold of my mothers number, and called her and started
    abusing... leads to disclosure of the personal information of the customer to third party. (punishable offence).

    Not listening, and calling again and again ... leading to Harrasment... Punishable offence.

    Invading personal space of an individual ... Punishable offence.

    Giving threats ... Punishable offence..



    HDFC Bank can get into big trouble if everyone unites.

    I am one of the victim too. My credit limit was reduced uninformed and I kept using the card having this thing in mind that I have a greater credit limit. Later bank started putting overpayment, overdue charges. I registerd a complaint, compliant still stands and they kept accruing the charges.

    I mailed this issue to these hdfc email id's "HDFC Bank Credit Cards Support" <customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com>, <grievance.[protected]@hdfcbank.com>, <countryhead.[protected]@hdfcbank.com>, <[protected]@hdfcbank.com>, plus the local contacts of HDFC collection department in Pune.

      Personal Loan — Not responding for the status

      Dear Concern,

      Please help me to understand that why your executives behave like this. I login my PL file on 16-Oct-08 & your Executive said that i will recieve my cheque on Monday i-e 20-Oct-08. Today is 22-Oct-08 & now he is not picking my phone call. Why they are doing this, I am unable to understand. I logged in file through HDFC Loan Department at Miller Ganj, Ludhiana. Please help me out to understand the situation.

      Ihave applied for personal loan on 2nd Feb2009 at Coimbatore branch HDFC-BRIDGE.and the loan
      application accepted on the number 14481867 dt.04/02/2009. Iam working in M/S Lakshmi Machine Works, Coimbatore, as Manager and also an account holder in HDFC Bank .Actually your bank official only called me and told that I am eligible for Personal loan . After accepting my application, Iwas informed that I am not eligible because of pending loan in ICICI bank. Actually to my knowledge there is
      no such unpaid loan, and I am promptly repaying the EMI s. If these type of irregularities are raising by
      your officials I am afraid of continuing my account itself in your bank and also it is an insult to me.

      I have applied for a personal load from HDFC bank, I have a salary account with the bank for last more then 5 years. I was offered a preapprove load from my bank and when i applied for that loan. They said my application is rejected because of outstanding pending on one of my credit card. Whereas i sent them all the prof including my card statement, apology mail from CITI bank also. Still there is no update from there end. Even the bank representative is not answering calls. At least he can answer me about the status of my application so that i can make other arrangements if it is not possible for HDFC. I am really disappointed. If without doing any default this is scenario then what is the benefit of being a genuine customer. The reference number of my application is 15444746.

        I transferred an amount of 5500 RS on 14 Jan 2008 to Visa Card no: [protected] through net banking. Name of recipient is Mrs. Manju Das. Her bank account is with SBI Nagpur branch and her A/C no is [protected]. She has not yet received money. She has checked with her bank several times and even I checked with SBI, No money was credited to her account. I have complaint HDFC so many times and comp no is:[protected]. They are saying money was credited on next very day 15 Jan 2008. Kindly take necessary step to resolve this issue ASAP. Please let me know if you need any further information.

        I have transferred an amount of Rs.5500 on 1st July 2009 to SBI account# [protected] through net banking. Name of recipient Ramanaiah T. His bank account is with SBI Gudur branch(Nellore Dist) and He has not yet received the money till now. Generally it would take 1 or 2 days to get credit the transfered amount to the recipient.here i want to say one thing.Earlier to this transer i have transfered an amount coulple of times to the same SBI account, it was transfered successfully and he has receieved the amount.but this time he has not received the Rs.5500 amount which i transfered on 1st july, 2009. he has checked with his bank several times but No money was credited to his account. I am going to complaint HDFC.

        I have indentified one compliant similar to my above case . it seems HDFC bank online application has a bug in transfering an amount of 5500.

          I have submitted a complaint letter along with the policy documents regarding the cancellation of the policy no[protected] at Janak puri branch on 18th Nov, 2008. This policy is issued to me on the False commitment and my signatures are fradulently done by the Insurance Advisor on the documents. I called up the Customer care on 25th Nov’ 2008. but as per them policy documents and letter does not reach to Mumbai office and they advise me to contact branch again. Till today I have not recd any response in lieu of the refund order. I called up several times to the company help line but till now there is no confirmation.
          Why the company is playing with the customer time & money? I do not have time to visit the branch office time & again and when I called at the nos provided then no body picks up a call. I need my money refunded with interest urgently.

            A man claiming to be an employee of HDFC Bank Janak Puri came to my residence this morning stating that there is an outstanding amount of my wife's credit card with HDFC. I told him that neither I nor my wife has ever had a Credit Card from HDFC he started threating us.
            He had no ID proof, no credit card number and no statement. When I asked for his ID he showed a Visiting Card by the name of Anuj Lakhra, Sr. Manager Collections, HDFC Bank, Janak Puri.

            I asked him to get proof and repeated that none o[censored]s has a credit card from HDFC. He then started hurling abuses and threatened to have me beaten up by calling more people.

            I calmed him down and told him to get proof. He left soon after and following which I went and logged a complaint at the local police station. This incident has left both of stressed out mentally and harassed.

            We request you intervention in helping us get to the bottom of this. I will be sending a complaint to the RBI Ombudman as well about this incident and the behaviour by HDFC employees.

              I had taken a credit card from HDFC Bank in the year 2005. I had operated the card but as i was enjoying the credit facility for 45 Days but i had not received the bill of my credit card has i asked several times to customer care of the bank but they had not given proper feed back to us. As after some period of time i had agree to pay full & Final Settlement of Rs.16000/- against Cerdit Card Number[protected]. I had made the payment of the card & i hav received the offer letter from HDFC Bank as full & Final Settlement. How i can know that how to delete the name from CIBIL?

                sir this is to bring to your notice that my bankaccount with account with
                no : [protected] in the name of Jugal. Kishore. Mahajan along with Promila is with Centurian Bank Of Punjab Patel chowk Pathankot. This branch has deducted Rs 2640 @660 per month for four months due to low balance charges Whereas we were having more than 2 Lacs in the shape of stdrs at that time. Matter was discussed many times with brach Head Gurmeet s Singh and he assured me all the times to revese the amount by affording credit in my account. More than 3 months have lapsed but he is lingering the matter delibrately. Now i have withdrawn all my money from your bank & kept it at home in my locker. I am not willing to put it backuntill my problem is solved . I fear they can now deduct charges again because at present I have no bmegar balance in my account.once my problem is solved i will put back all the money. I request you to kindly take necessary action at the earliest, or else I may be forced to go to consumercourt .                   I HAD QUERY REGARDING MAPPING OF CREDIT CARD IN NET BANKING TO VIEW SUMMURY OF TRANSACTIONS THROUGH CREDIT CARD.                   I am the saving acount holder of HDFC from more than one year . My monthly income is 6000Rs. Can I be a credit card holder of any type. Plz give me complete information .
                  i am the savin acount holder of HDFC from more than two year. My monthly income is 22000 rs. I have paid above 900rs bills payment of airtel bill, but still not update. Otherwise I have to stop transfer Fund From HDFC to Airtel mobile Bill in feature. My Due Date 09-01-12. Please check and advice ASAP.

                  I have contacted your customer care and branch their response is very poor. my problem is as per your statement actually i have spent Rs 29658/- but in your statement shows out standing amount is Rs 42658/- and also i dont have any amount due in the month of nov but it shows dues check and correct it

                    I am unable to find my credit card status at your website, all documents had provided (Copy of Pan Card, Two Photos, Copy of office identity card, Salary Slip in original along with attracted office stamp & Copy of Driving license) on Dtd-17/11/2010 to Mr Rakesh Chopra ([protected]) HDFC Dsa by myself with dully sing.

                    But sorry to say that till the date I haven't received any reply nor SMS about the status of my application, would you please let me know about the status of my application or advice me if you need any more document(so) for any further process. Because its almost above a month to apply it & nobody have courtesy to reply me back while I am calling at their mobile no(so).

                      I am having a card loan from HDFC, which is running since last 3 years and I applied for Auto debit from my bank account using ECS facility.

                      Now a days I am getting calls from HDFC recovery agents, that I have some dues pending for my loan due to late payment of EMIs.

                      I am not able to understand this I am paying EMIs thru ECS, then how can be there late Payment. If Payment date is on 7th of every month and due to any reason 7 falls on holiday, then I should not be held responsible for delays. This is something bank should have taken care and they should debit amount before 7th.

                      H.D.F.C bank is a useless bank. Initially they dont explain the customer abt so many things other expenses and later they come up with so much burden. I have also taken car loan now i want to prepay the balance amount and they told me that i would be charged 6 % extra...which is rubbish ...now i keep telling everyone not to go to h.D.F.C for anything
                      H.D.F.C. bank is not only useless, it is a cheat bank. I also have a car loan & emi are deducted from my a/c in SYNDICATE BANK BIJWASAN DELHI through ECS. In the month of july there was a strike of nationalised banks as a result of which ECS got bounced.The emi was immidiately paid by cheque.Now their recovery agents are threatening me to pay bouncing charges for which i am not liable because i had more than sufficient funds in my account

                      loan against auto — overdue charge

                      This is Subhash chand & I live at e-12 budh vihar phase-2 shrma colony delhi-110086. I had taken a loan against my vehicle no.DL1LJ 3236 (Bajaj Maz CNG) from Shriram Transport Finance Co.Ltd ( branch office at Karol Bagh ).. The loan period was January, 2008 to September, 2010. in the last period of loan they did not informe me that your cheques has finished & we require some more cheques. Now they are saying me that you have to pay over due payment against your late payment which is Rs.5000/.
                      In the starting sasstion of they had commited me that whenever we deposit any cheque firt of all we inform u then we will deposit it but they did not inform me time to time & the result is that my 5 no. of cheques has bounced & now theyasking me that you have to pay Rs.250/ per bounced cheques entry(total Rs.1250/).
                      Those all payment Rs.6250/ is extra charge which I cannot able to give them.
                      So please help me into this matter

                        I opened a NRE account in HDFC bank in Aug 2005. In Jan 2006, i requested them to provide me internet banking pin, again i requested for the same in July 2007, this was in person at the bank. Till jan 2008 nothing was received, then i asked them to change my postal address, they did not do so. Now I have been requesting them to close my account as i am totally disgusted, they are not doing so. 20 days ago my aged father went there with my application form they said I must send them INR 900 as a penalty for low balance and then they will do, on 30 Nov i sent them OMR 10 ( that day's value was INR 128 x 1 OMR), today they tell my father that they received only 450 INR and I must send in more money only then they will close. they are also saying the penalty keeps increasing on a daily basis.                         HDFC giving NRI's to closing bank account. They want signature of 2 witness on closing the account which is unreasonable. As an account holder i must be given the authority to close it anytime i want.

                        They give hassels for leaving customers.

                          With high regrets I have to bring to your kind knowledge that on 29th November 2008 have received a strong Worded letter dated November 18th 2008 from your Retail Asset Division 1st Floor, B6/3 Community Centre Safdarjung Enclave opp site Deer Park New Delhi stating falsely that despite several reminders addressing me have been sent for not adhering to the terms & Conditions wide the Agreement have failed to maintain the financial discipline and to pay the amount of Rs.23, 349.42 within seven days from the date of postage of your notice and the Vehicle will be recovered (Taken Possession by Your bank) and would be sold, auctioned solely at my risk and cost, and moreover threatening me to include my name in the list of defaulters and share the conduct with other banks / financial institutions, Credit information cos and and statutory bodies in accordance with the Credit Information Cos (Regulation) Act 2005, as amended from Time to Time submit my plea that I have not Taken any Loan on the Above Mentioned Loan Number.



                          I am Passionately Shocked that the bank of your repute is erring on maintaining the correct Loan Number and Threatening to comply with dire consequences as mentioned in your letter against me.



                          May I entreat upon your good office to go through the minutest of details and inform me with all the outcome of your enquiry apologetically, lest this matter may be dropped here only and not going to the press & beyond.



                          The letter in Fact is Postage Stamped on 25 Nov 2008 from Mumbai.

                            I have been using HDFC credit card for quite a long time..with the no xxxx xxxx xxxx 8925.. due to some personal valid reasons i couldn't pay the bill for some time.. and later on i realised and ready to pay the bill and requested the bank to reverse overlimit fee which has charged for several months.. i didnt request even for late payment and finance charges.. and paid the amount of 12, 000 which is much more than my transaction amount.. but till now no reversal happened(over limit for several months).. again the bill showing around more 12, 000=00 the full amount is finance charges, late payment overlimit fee only.. please arrenge for the reversal of overlimit fee for the all months..or else arreng for the settlement of the card..

                            This is to inform you that i hv.cleared the credit card dues before 2years back Rs.20000 after negotiation with your agent but they have not provided me the noc.At present i hv.applied for Home Loan and some amount is appearing in CIBIL FILE which created problem for me.I hv.talked to your nearest branch & cutomer care but they are unable to provide the details.For the last 6 days i m frusted.
                            If some amount is genuine then i m readt to pay in cash at the same time i need noc from your nearest branch & this should be weib off from the CIBIL FILE.

                              My credit card no. is [protected] in the name of amit saini in the month of may 2008 your credit division charge me 155000.00 on my card at the name of enjaz information techriyadh with the multiple charges on multiple dates my card limit is totally 93000.00 but they charge 155000.00 ill send dispute letter to your division they return all charges in the month of September. Your executive give me call in October and said that your all charges are reverse we are send u a fresh card with fresh no. please send us signature verification form ill got my card in November .

                              Now again they charge me with multiple charges with multiple date of 137000.00.

                                My name is ashafaque ansari i am having an saving A/c with HDFC bank. I had deposited a cheque on 14th of october 2008 with the amount of 12500/- as of now my cheque is not been cleared and the bank is telling me that we have lost your cheque. that kind of service hdfc bank has. its a limit of irresponsbility that we have lost your cheque.

                                My chque was issued from PBN, Maharajgunj, siwan district. and cheque no was 037515 and dropped at laxmi nagar bank drop box on 14th october.

                                I am very much feddup with hdfc bank service. they are behaving like a street shop. i eagerly need this money many time i have been ashmed by whom i had commited for the money. but hdfc bank is behaving like nothing happend.

                                If hdfc bank has no capacity to clear outstation cheque then return me i have A/c with other banks. they will assist me in a better way and with responsbility.

                                  Please be informed that above loan was applied by me for 36 months but it was wrongly disbursed for 17 months which creates me some problem and as a result i stopped to provide funds But several discussion were gone & no one take iniciative to rescheduled it in 36 months. At last Mr. Vikramjit who was manager at Rajouri Garden (Delhi) request me to start the payment and he will get it rescheduled. But result was Nill. Two days back I got a call from Customer Care. Miss Avantika (Manager, Rajouri Garden). She realised this mistake and promise to reschedule this loan with balance amount of Rs. 14, 787 only by adding 3 new installments. Now you are requested to adjust this Amount with 3 new instalments and reschdule the loan 17 to 20 instalments.
                                  I was shocked and surprised that you have put my name in sebel (Defaulter List) Although I am regular by paying my Loan. You can also check my payment schedule or performence in my Loan A/c No. 10052584 which is going to clear this month. There is no missing or break in Re payment of Loan.Kindly clear my name from your Defaulter List also Immidiately and inform me.
