HDFC WORST BANK - Poor Working Environment
My husband is working with HDFC Bank. HDFC employees are called for work by their seniors even on Sundays and national holidays. Ms. Mandeep Maitra visited all the branches recently, she only gave lectures that no employee should work on holidays and no late nights. But everything was in air.

Employees are still working on holidays.
Seniors use rough language and lot of mental harassment .
Seniors always give threats, if you wont complete your targets you will be terminated.
Employees are not given leaves for their Personal works.
Can any one work under these conditions?

Ms. Maitra get up. Employees frustration is increasing day by day which is making their life hell. Its high time now. Please take some solid actions which are in favor of employees.

Ms. Maitra can u work like this? No Holidays, No rest, No time for family. Think Once!

Manager srikanth came to bank daily late and going to outside there is no service in the bank teller not sit in the teller counter go to manager cabin group discussion in bank working hours so many time waiting for cash deposit transactions in your bank, bank power cutting time not started in the generator there is no good quality service in the bank. Manager not experienced person in the banking sector. P.B told me lockers are available, but Manager told me lockers are not available at my branch; there are no understandings at the branch management. Both are arguing the branch, totally Branch Manager Performance is very poor quality Management. Please take action immediately to improve the branch. hdfc bank opposite axis bank, hdfc bank will be no service customer go to axis bank. please calculate branch perfomence.

i joined Hdfc bank as a insurance Co-ex, at the time of interview my branch manager told me that you will get your offer letter in one week and after that i had work with this organisation for one month and i didnt get my salary as well as my offer letter.. during that time i had work with for late nit till 11 pm then also i did not get any salary. one important thing is that before me there are two or three gays are suffered from the same problem at himmatnagar branch--gujarat.

I have worked as a Customer Sales Eexeutive at HDFC Anna Nagar Y Block at Chennai from 08/09/2008 to19/02/2009. I am not recieve my Februvary month Salary till now and also Provindent Fund. Hi,

I would like to log a compaint about the service provided by HDFC bank.

Their ATM's weren't working today so after trying to withdraw money from 3 differnet ATM's as suggested by phone banking as they told me that there was no problem with HDFC ATM's.

I then decided to go to the branch and after waiting in a long queue to get information I was told that I need my cheque book. I told the bank person that I didnt have it and if I could just withdraw the money using a withdrawl slip but he insisted i get the cheque book. So i went back home collected my cheque book and came back to the branch it was 12:29 when I got there but the security gaurd and bank people refused to let me in saying that the bank closed for the day although their closing time for the day is 12:30 on saturdays.

I am throughly disatisfied with the service provided by this bank and its employees. If the bank people knew that the bank was going to close they should have informed me, and phone banking should have the updated information as i wasted most of my time going from one ATM to another thinking that there was a problem with either my card or the ATM machine i was at. Futhermore I feel that a bank should extend their working hours especially on days when they know their ATM's aren't working and customer would need to go to a branch to withdraw money.

In my opinion I think HDFC bank provides very poor quality of service!!!!

I was working in HDFC Bank Hamidia Road Branch
(Branch Code :0400). I got my first salary after 3 Months.
With Rs. 8000/- less.No appointment letter was given. No I card, nothing. I had been told that it will be covered in the next month salary. But nothing happend in the next 3 months. After sometime i had been told that I was recruited at Rs.6000/-
But at the time of joining i was told Rs.8000/- My Emp. Code :
CS-26913. I have left the job but even till now I hav'nt got my salary and no final sttlement. I m clearly saying with my personal experience that HDFC Bank is worst Bank fot both employees and customer too.

Please stay away from HDFC Bank. I am recently cheated at HDFC Bank, Kalsi Nager, Ludhiana, and HDFC Life Insurance, Feroz Gandhi Market, Ludhiana. The branch managers have cheated Rs 200, 000 from me on the name of investment. These branch managers are like travel agents who are just after your money.

If you have to do the business with HDFC Bank for any reasons, you should not allow the bank employees to complete your paper work. If somehow the bank employee has completed the paper work for you, you must review it before giving your approval. Otherwise, you will easily become victim of their cheating process. This type of cheating is not shown in movies only, it has happened with me in real life.

I have nothing against the HDFC bank emploees. These workers may have been forced by the branch managers to keep their jobs. This is happening because most o[censored]s forced work under these corrupt managers because fair work standards are not practiced due to corrupt legal system. Due to this reason, we victum of "White Indian" in our own country.

Check in your HR deptt becoz I have salary slip of feb'05 in which my all salary received has been written from 1st July 2004 to Feb'05 without any deduction in my salary.

I have resigned on 31st March'05 had handed over my resignation to Mr Vishal Singh Panwar.I have already sent my PF withdrawl Form before 1 year after talking in PF deptt for withdrawl but they told that my resignation has not been updated.

This is a mail regarding PF withdrawl .I had already sended you my PF withdrawl form but till date I didn't got my withdrawl amount.I had sended my form before 1 year.When I talked to PF deptt before 1 month ago I came to know that My resignation has not been updated and also settlement is pending. i completely agree and appreciate your dare to make such complaints. strict actions must be taken from indian government against these banks.

HDFC Bank — Poor Quality OF Service

Hi,

I have opened an account in HDFC bank. But there was no customer ID written on any of the Hard copies provided by the bank. I tried calling the HDFC customer care, but in vain. I tried many a times until one week to catch the customer care executive but it always made me wait for minutes finally I couldn't contact the phone officer. I would like to raise a compliant on the HDFC guys for their poor service. I wasted my time,money and was frustrated a lot. This is no way acceptable.

Govt should monitor the Quality Of Service of these kinda banks.

Very true. I agree with you (I worked in HDFC bank for 4 years 2006 to 2010) . HR in HDFC bank is like sleeping cell and when it comes to employee engagement it is very minimal and I am 100% sure that it won't be more than 5% if they do perform any such survey. As per the records HDFC bank has 35% attrition rate (one of the highest in industry). They (HDFC Bank) DO NOT care about employee's Health and Well being, which is very sad. I urge to HR of HDFC bank that they should take some positive steps towards work life balance of employee and follow industry’s best standards in employee well being.

Yes I totally agree with you people...HDFC bank customer services are very-very bad and they cut-of[censored]nnecessary amount from our saving bank account time-to-time without any notice/information. Nobody from bank bothers to tell us anything when we go to meet in person.

HDFC Bank is a THUG. I dont understand how without the customers consent they can hold a salary account. My whole salary has been kept on hold and further they have told me to clear another 12k due on my credit card or else they will keep my account on hold. This is only possible in a country like our. I think its high time these rules are reviewed so that family people like us do not suffer

I am Abhishek Bhardwaj employee of HDFC bank in marketing sector.
I was appointed on 10 Oct 2008 as a Contract sales Executive.
I.P. extention branch in Delhi. My job code is CA 18361.

I worked with this bank till 17 november 2008.
The matter is that i didn't receive my salary yet.
Which i am legally liable to get.
My one months salary is RS.8500
And my 1 months and 7 days salary is remain which is not given by departmet.

So my request is that my seniors are not helping me in this regard. So i want to get my salary.

I have taken a Auto loan from your bank. (Agreement no:[protected]. My EMI started on 07.10.07. I have alrady 17 EMI in due time. For the month of March'09 due to a mistake from my end EMI (7.3.09) bounced. Your representative Mr. Mondal from Kolkata (mob no: [protected]) contacted me 12/15 days back & I adviced him to collect my payment from my office at 22B Santi Pally, Kolkata because at that time I was out of Kolkata. He denied to collect it & gave me an explanation that Kolkata is not under his jurisdiction & he is only able to collect it from my residence at Howrah only. But at the time of car purchase all the cheques were collected from my office only. Day before yesterday, I got one call from your bank & was giving me threatening due to my non payment. That day after receiving such a call from your bank, I called up Mr. Mondal (on 02.04.09 at 1.04 pm on his mobile no: [protected]) to collect the payment from my kolkata office but he again denied to collect it and gave me an explanation that till date he did not receive any pending list from bank for the month of April'09. But again I requested him to collect the amount from my office. But he did not come.
I will be out of Kolkata till middle of this month. So now it is not possible for me to pay the amount till then.
You are requested not to send any person to collect the amount till then.

my application no[protected].for a car loan . i have paid 40% of the car (onroad) value. and rest of the amount to be covered under laon from hdfc bank.
m/s sky automobile, raipur has collected the money from me.

but mr javed-[protected], hdfc bank car loan person forceing me to pay 20% of the car value.
funniest part is when m/s sky automobile informed the bank about my margin money (40%) dated -8th, 9th of may 09 has allready collected from the customer,

but the approve letter i recieve from the bank on 19th may 09 that customer has paid 20% of the car .when i informed the same to mr javed, still he says no problem,

i dont understand what is happening in the bank? how can the bank is so casual?

I was looking for car loan.I started talking to bank .I came across many people of HDFC bank ..they offered me loan with defferent interest rate someone was giving me @ 9.75, some at 10% and some 10.25 and some 10.5 and so and so.They dont have anything written on site or paper.They just sell their loan depend upon the customer..these people are so bad that u can't beleive ..Even their calculation is not up to the mark ..make u scratch ur head...finally I opted out not to take loan from HDFC ..Now I am looking frwd to take loan from SBI...

Security's Behaviour

The security at the HDFC ATM in Ayyapanagar, KR Puram, bengaluru -36 has responded in an very rude manner when asked about the not working of ATM .Also, there were no boards placed saying the ATM was out of order.

HDFC is not clearly mentioned which are retail chain are accepting the card.

i guess the problem is with the amount. my card was not accepted in reliance fresh for 200+ amount but it did for 97 rs. Similarly happened with McD also. I heard that there is a upper limit of 100 rs in a day. But this limit is not there in case of Sodexho coupons...

but what about the amount that was not used for the day?

Is it carry forward to the next day?

In such case I can buy or pay more then 100 rs. using hdfc food plus card, right?

My card no [protected] not using reliance, heratige, bug bazaar, Spencer always shows decline and what purpose I am using this card . very bad service of Hdfc bank and not introduce in future.

TCS provided HDFC food card 4213XXXXXXXX2072 is not accepting at any of the super market ( Murugan Super Market, local provisional shop, Heritage fresh & Heritage Super Market) seems to be accepting only on restaurant like A2B, Sangeetha, Hot Chips. no use of having the card.

It is very ebarassing position will come when it is not accepted after purchasing all the food items. We are not the people going for bar and restaurents.We are taking montly food item at Big Bazaar only.
This is a common issue for all the TCS employees where as same card is working for corporate companies like CTS

So please look in to the matter.

I want to say you one things that just arrange the money from somewhere and close the loan. Udhar bahout kharab chiz hoti he so please close your loan as soon as quick. If you will pay 25% of the loan amount every year then HDFC will not charge you any extra money. so please close the loan by paying 25% every year or close the whole loan at 1 time.

Mr. Vijay, are you by chance work for HDFC in anyway?. I think so, else u cannot make such insensitive comments again and again. why are you always in defense of HDFC even thougth such private banks "Take the existing cust. for a ride and screw them" mode.

You don't have any authority to say that, "go and get the loan from somewhere else". Banks suppose to do business by give loan and collect in ethical and fair way, not rob the existing one and seduce the new one with low % and rob them too.

simple, banks must honor the "floating rate" ie. when the RBI CRR/whatever or inflation increases, increase, when decreases decrease to all.

I have sent multiple complaints to them without any action. All we can do is spread awareness on these cheaters

My sympathies towards your plight. However, based on a loan of [protected]@10.25% your EMI is 26514 ( Rs 982 per lac ). When the Interest Rate changes to 11.5% your Actual EMI is 28809 ( @ 1067 per lac ). However, keeping your previous EMI of 26514 constant your tenure has to increase. Your tenure is keeping your previous EMI constant is now 392 months. To get your period back to 240 months you need to prepay atleast Rs 2, 00, 000 ( 2L ). You will need to constantly prepay ( however small that amount is ) in order to ensure that u get outta this trap.

As per my approximate calculation, the new tenure comes to 364 months. The best way to counter this is to make a prepayment. If you make a prepayment now of approx 2L to 2.15 lakhs, the tenure will come back to close to original of 240 months. Note that the more you delay your prepayment, the more amount will need to be paid to reduce the tenure.
