Hi,

ATTN: HDFC BANK USERS :Your online bank account is at risk. its not secured any more.

I, Parikshit have Savings bank account in HDFC Powai Branch. On 22-sep-08 my account was debited by 996.00 INR and I received SMS on my cell phone the same time I called your customer care and informed that this transaction was not done by me, so kindly do the needful they have disabled my Internet Banking and gave me the case Number #[protected], I called back again on 23rd and spoke with Khushbu at around 11:39 AM, She gave me another Case Number stating this is new case number #[protected] on the same day I spoke with her Manager Greg. he said that I will receive call which I never received, I made several calls to Customer care then they told me to contact Nearest branch, so I visited your Evershine Nagar (Malad) Branch, I have submitted the letter which talks about the phishing transaction happened on my account. I received call once from Divya Joshi stating we are working on this and will get back to you which she never did so I again made call on 26-Oct-08 and spoke with Shahista after being on phone for so long she disconnected the call and called back and then I spoke with her manager Dhaval and he said that he will get back to me or some one will call me back from my home branch but I haven’t received any call, I called back again and spoke with Vaibhav from Complaint department he also told the same thing, spoke with his manager Greg and this time he asked me to contact my home branch which I did I contacted Powai Branch on[protected] and spoke with Silvy Abraham she works as a PB Authorizer in powai branch, she told me that they are still working on it and she will call me. I waited and then decided to contact your Grievance Cell which I did and spoke with Shabnam on[protected] at around 11:09 AM and she gave me another case which is TF[protected] and she asked me to wait for another 2 days. But not reply again I called on 13th Nov 08 and spoke with Harshad and he said the same that wait for 1 day as their is bank holiday. I have made several calls to your Customer care but no one seems to help me and they said we will call you within 2 days but no on call back Very poor customer service. Online banking is not secured at all with HDFC bank.

I am asking them to at least provide me the Cell phone which was recharged so that I can handle the situation from my end but that too you people are not providing me, I am really very disappointed with the kind of service you guys are providing to your customers.

I've cancelled tickets from irctc through gateway payment and cancelled it due to some legal reasons.I've not recieved my payment debited to my account as promised and written in terms and conditions by the irctc itself.I would believe the complaint would resolve soon.Thank you.

    I have lost Rs 1, 09, 000/- through HDFC netbanking Third party transfer by some unauthorised person .

    HDFC is not giving any support nor any proper response, every time they changing their commitments and dialogues.since 40 days.

    The blame goes to HDFC bank because of their un secured netbanking service compared to other banks netbanking.

    How HDFC is responsible by their unsecured service as follows.

    1.) HDFC customer care operator service is only between 8:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M.

    culprits have done such transactions only on weekends where is no proper customer service.now-a-days every bank is providing 24X7 customer care service.
    if such 24x7 service was available i could have requested for stop payment service soon after receiving the SMS alert.

    2.) There is only one single password for netbanking login. where as other banks have provided multiple passwords like transaction id, transaction password, security device, other logical combination of code printed on back side of the ATM card.

    HDFC doesnt have any such double security system . one password is leaked any sort of transaction can be done which is fully unsecured service.

    3.) By default the Limit for TPT is 5.0 lacs. actually it should start from lesser value. But for cash withdrawl it is fixed at lesser value.

    hence a chance for the hacker to sweep out the complete balance amount less that 5.0 lacs.

    4.) In order to add a beneficiary account for TPT it takes 24 hours time to get registered but what actually does the process do for 24 hours as there is no relation security check between the beneficiary name and account number.
    where as in cheque name of the beneficiary is important but in TPT funds transfer there is no such relation.

    This point should be noted.

    5.) You have provided virtual keyboard as a security for entering login details customer-id and password but at the same time if by mistake user enters from hard keyboard of the PC it accepts, then where is the security, there is no purpose of giving Virtual keyboard.
    Actually when the provision comes for entering customer-id and password the system should not accept from hard keyboard.such service is available with all other banks.

    6.) Since my money has been transfered to culprits account in another branch of HDFC bank then it is HDFC responsibility for reversal of the amount by any means.
    Since the culprit person is absconding then HDFC verification team is also responsible for this as that culprit customer also holds gold debit card.
    ther should be several proof documents to be submitted to get the gold debit card but HDFC has issued to a tom-dick 'n' harry customers.

    Kindly help me in this regard .

    i fell it very hard as iam alone in this struggle.

    HDFC Bank — double amount debited instead of once

    I am a customer of HDFC bank(previously Centurion Bank Of Punjab limited). My account is in Faridkot branch(Punjab). I purchased a trouser costing Rs.450 from Priknit apparels limited, jalandhar, lajpat nagar showroom through my debit card(Maestro) on 2nd October, 2008. The amount was debitted from my account twice, but the company(Priknit) received the payment only once. On raising a query, the bank gave me neither a satisfactory answer nor some solution..though i contacted my home branch also. They say we cannot do anything.. But i want to know why i am being charged the double amount? Who will pay the extra amount? I want a proper solution for this problem.

    I think you should file an case in police station. Then only the bank will take responsibility.

    You should not have accessed the netbanking from an unsecured system. I am accessing HDFC from years. I always use my own system. You do not want all thousands o[censored]sers to suffer due to HDFC's increased security measures just because you have failed to take preventive measures. Anyway I am not blaming you. You have lost your money. And I understand what it feels like. If you keep on adding security measures there wont be any real use of such system. Instead of saving time, we will loose time. HDFC is a very paranoid bank in my experience compared to ICICI etc. I hope you don't want them to close the Netbanking service, Do you? Because that is the only way they could have prevented it from happening. I agree to you
    r views on what they could have done to resolve it. I think a Police Case will do that. You can even file a complaint to RBI. But make sure that your claim is correct. Dont point on security measures. Talk about what they are supposed to do(but not done).

    I have applied for my trading account in HDFC bank (branch name-Mosque Road, Bangalore) on the 10/01/2009. According to their commitment, my account should be open within 7 working days. Today i talked to customer care but acording to their statement they haven't recieved my application yet.

    This is sanjeev, I have salary account in hdfc.I want to use online IPO service.
    In that service i am not able to hold funds for ipo in netbanking.
    There is no Fund Hold option in that IPo form.
    In Demo it shows a FUND Hold and Release Button.
    But in Application it Shows only Funds Release Button.
    Can You Please tell me what is the poblem.

      Hi,

      I have recently applied for Loan. My Loan A/C No: 14161644. I have submitted my all the document on Friday 28th Nov 2008 and all verification is over. They said i will get the amount credited in my account within Monday (1st Dec 2008).

      But till now, i did not get my loan amount. I required the amount very urgently. Nobody is taking action in this regard.

      I hope this mail will process the loan amt as soon as possible

        I am having Credit Card of HDFC Bank. There was a service to pickup up the cheque for outstanding balance before due date. Till date no body comes to pickup and nop body even bothers to call back.

        I submitted the complaint by phone banking. They (bank representative) apologies and told me that no extra charges will be levied upon. But the charges were there on new statement.
        I asked in writing for the clarification and reversal of charges before I pay the cleared amount. They (bank representative) did the reversal and again put charges in next statement.

        This thing is going on from 3 months but bank is not taking appropriate actions to solve the issue and unnecessary harassing me for paying the minimum amount. Please guide what to do. My email is [protected]@gmail.com

        hi, this is amir i have complain abt hdfc credit card cause i have been paying for credit card since last two yrs & i never get less amt than 10000 rupees , there fore i have complain abt hdfc bank

        I have not received statement past 6 months . I have been repeteadly telling and making complaint but instead of redressing my greivance charges are being put.

        I am for the said reason not being able to pay my dues. Please get my penelty reversed immidiately and inform me and send me the statement immidiately so that I can deposit the dues immidiately.

        My CC no is [protected] having a platinium card, 1st have taken a loan on my credit card then i have given back whatever the total payment was outstanding through phone banker.But unfortunatly from your side it is been said that no phone call has been come.Though i have the recipt of the payment which was given in HDFC Office @ Shankarsheth road.
        On 1 day again i got a call from the credit card division that your some amount is outstanding.i asked them regarding which amount they told some closing amount.I have already had a word with your phone banker about the amount but still the there is a outstanding.
        Then i decided to stop my credit card i have wrote a letter to Cheenai Office & i have cut my cut into 4 pieces and droped in the atm box.

        Again i got a call from your side saying that why are you closing the cc.Please dont close your credit card we will wave out the amount.

        So they send me again my new Credit Card.Again the statment has came with more new amount.

        Now i was so shock to recive another statment.


        Please close my credit Card.

        I have get charged as late payment fee Rs. 500 on 29/4/2009 because of i drop my credit card on your drop box but its hounered on 29/4/2009 even i drop my cheque before 20th of every monh its clear after due date, then i stopped i deposit my cheque in HDFC Bank clearing counter afterwards i do not have any late payment fee.

        But I requested in you customer service center on every month to reversel of Rs 500 charged on 29/4/2009 after getting my credit carrd statement. each time your customer service center giving taking request and neglecting to revers my payment "THEY ASSURING ME LIKE REVERSEL IS HAPPAN TECHNICALLY ITS NOT REFLECTED IN YOU STATEMENT IT WILL REVESE IN NEXT STATEMENT " same answer i am geting in every month . kindly i request you please reverse the same

        HDFC Bank Credit Card — Harassing by putting unnecessary charges

        Hi,

        I am holding HDFC Bank credit card for quite some time. They are charging too much of money for the credit card bill. There is unnecessary charges for the credit card finance charges. They are not ready for any negotiation or settlement. They are harassing their customer. Please take some action against them. If at all I ask them why the finance charges so much when I have not done any transactions, their answer is simple- If you pay minimum amount then finance charges will be maximum. Then what a poor person will do? Will he serve them through out his life as if he has sold his head to them by taking their card?

        Please Please Please do something and take me out of this situation.

          I had deposited an ICICI bank chq in my HDFC account on 12th Nov and ICICI had debited my account on 12th itself but HDFC bank has given credit for this cheque only on 15th Nov evening as a result of which my EMI chq dated 15th Nov was returned. I can't understand how local cheques take 4 days to clear incl deposit date - though in my account on 14th they have shown credit but with value date of 15th. Why can;t credit be given on 15th morning and honour my EMI chq. HDFC has charged me Rs. 350 as chq return charges even though amount is available and Hsg loan I have to pay chq return charges

          HDFC Bank — CHEQUE CLEAR BEFORE CHQ DATE

          Hi iam Sagar Luthra, i have a saving account on Hdfc Bank, i have given the chq o[censored]fci bank at jaipur dated 13 aug and it was cleared by Hdfc Bank on 12 of Aug. This was happen twice earlier on march it was get cleared on 11 and on chq the date is 13 APRIL.i have done a lot of complaints but nothing was happening iam fed up with their services and suffering a lot what should i do...

          HDFC Bank — Cheque clearance delay

          HDFC Bank is the worst bank in terms of operation and ethics. I had deposited a cheque on 3rd August 2011 but it is still not being shown in the account.
          Moreover the customer care takes infinity to respond and they conveniently respond after the problem has been solved.

            Respected Sir,

            This is to inform you that in regard to outstanding amount against my credit card. I wish to inform that I am regular in paying my installments against the loan of my card. I hadbeen a regular payee against all bill of my credit card time to time but 2 months before I had deposited in hdfc drop box. a chq. of SBI anandapuri branch of rs 3000., which has been collected by your collection department but it has not gone for clearance at my banker due to misplace by your people of the same which bank has accepted by apologying & one reversal letter.Then I starte geting phone calls from your collection agency & they start making my life hell irrespected of paying the amount again.I had to stop the chq from my bank which costed rs 100 from my account.HDFC have blocked my card by without informing me by showing overdue for rs 175 rs only. One side we are told that we are a gold customer for the bank by issuing a gold card and on the other hand we are forced to feel that the bank is robbing us. From the credit card services point of view the definition of customer in my eyes is now take cust and mar. More apart from that I even geting threat calls from Mr. ARINDAM KHASNABISH( Mob no. [protected]) seema service addressal pvt ltd&global recovery talks like a paid muscleman or goons of HDFC bank.He is sending his people daily basis for rs. 175 only & harrasing like anything with abusive language. I am 65 years old, retaired bank employee, a cardiac and bloodsugar patient but never seen this type of harrasment. Your customer care call center is absolutely meaningless. He talks like a parrot. Your local banks did not entertain any credit card complains. Such infrastructure of customer care is been made by the bank intentionally so that customer can not do any thing by complaining locally with bank’s branch office resulting in increase in outstanding amount which is the sole purpose of the bank in order to earn more. In other terms the white paper method for robbing the customer. I am very much disappointed. In fact there is no transparency in the credit card business from your bank.I am very much disturbed and scared therefore I have loddged a local police complain agaist unwanted people at my residence. I have made up a mind to not to pay any extra charges, if required I will take this case to your Chairman or Director, Consumer Court, RBI, Finance Ministry and Media. I would also like to see what benefits does my bank give to a gold card customer or what is the mission and quality policy or objectives does my bank have from customer point of view. Is it justified that one side Government of India is waiving the loans of our “Kissan Bhai” and other side my bank HDFC are finding out the unethical ways, methods and means to earn money? Kindly Take necessary action against my complain immediately, otherwise HDFC will be responsible for all consiquence of my life& my health.

            I have an Hdfc Bank gold card. I had taken loan Rs 20000=00.My monthly EMI is 987.45 RS. i was a regular payer of the MInimum amount due. unfortunately after paid 1st EMI installment i had not got my credit card bills so i hadnt paid the minimum amount for some days. After that I paid All EMI installment in regular basis.I have not received anytype of statement from bank. But bank agents harrasement me by phone.

            so pls try and solve my problem.

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                I opened my HDFC bank account on 17-09-08 and till today I cannot withdraw money from my bank account. I joined Accenture on 17-09-08.On 29-10-08 my salary was credited to my HDFC account. I was unable to withdraw money. I met Asha (who opened the account) on 03-11-08. She told me that they lost my employee Id. number. I gave her the employee Id. number then and there. Then Asha told me that the account will be activated on 08-11-08. On 08-11-08 she gave me a massage that due to some
                Technical problem it is not activated it will be activated on 09-11-08. On 10-11-08 she came with a new idea and told me that my signature is mismatching (which is not true). However, I gave her the identity proof with my signature on the very same day. Asha told me that the account will be activated on 12-11-08. She also made me to talk with her manager named Rahul, who also gave me the same information that the account will be activated on 12-11-08. On 12-11-08 when still cannot withdraw my own money I gave Asha a call at 9:45, she do not have any answer for this. Since, then everyday I go to Asha and she doesn’t know anything about my account. I called in Rahul as well reading this on 14-11-08 and he is willing to take any action and hung up the call.

                Please note:
                I was unable to pay my mobile bill on the due date even though I have money in my account.
                I was also unable to pay the quarterly premium on Nov. for my insurance.

                Kindly take strict legal action against HDFC and file a case in consumer court. If possible you can also provide me steps to file a case in consumer court
                and show me the path how to get compensated for this type of service.

                Hope a positive reply will come from you people.

                My name is sandeep kumar .I have salary account in HDFC and my salary A/C no.is [protected] .I deposit My salary checqe in hdfc bank and my checqe was clear.when i wanted to withraw my salary from my accout then i got information that my account is blocked.then i went to my nehru place branch on[protected].There I met with mr ayan and mr ayan is a personal banker in nehru place branch .I asked him why is my account blocked .He told me that your account is blocked because you mobile no was wrong. He told me that you will have to submit photostate copy of pan card and You will have to submit your original telephone no.I deposit photostate copy of my pan card and i gave my original telephone no.then mr ayan told me that your account will activate within 24 hours but my account was not activate even after two days.then i went again to my branch on[protected] then i again met with mr ayan and he told me that your account will activate within 24 hours.but my account has not activated even after four days. Therefore i want that you should take any action against mr ayan because it shows poor quality of hdfc bank of nehru place branch(hemkund chamber).please activate my salary account as soon as possible.i will be obliged to you.

                I am working for TATATELESERVICES Ltd, I have salary account in HDFC and my salary A/C no.is [protected], i have applied for a gold debit card, before sending the new debit card they have hotlisted the existing debit card, then i have got a message that they have sent threw Blue Dart courier, i have wait for 4 days, i didnt get any call from Ble Dart, then i call to HDFC CC, they have given Blue Dart phone no with pat no, i have enquired with Blue Dart CC, they told they have return to main branch Chennai, I have requested on HDFC CC pls send threw some other courier, thwy told within two days it will reach, again i wait for 4 days, now they are telling that it is at Banjara Hills branch, First of all how they have blocked the existing debit card without intimating to customer, Kindly take strict legal action against HDFC and file a case in consumer court.

                      From the landline number from which i was called i came to know later that this number[protected] was from the HDFC Credit Card division.The lady name "Sarika" from the JP Nagar Branch(Bangalore) who called me told that i was some "ranju" / "rajiv singh" (which is not my name/i never had any savings or credit card a/c with HDFC)and started asking questions about my address and behaved very rudely.She expected that i should give her all my personal info and at that point where she thought i should believe that she was from HDFC.

                      I didnt agree to talk to such a lunatic and she kept calling me again.So it is a wrong number she was calling and misbehaving.I kept my cool just because she was a lady.She has no decency to speak.Everytime i used cut the call, she called back.This happened Nov 13th, 2008.

                      I would request the HDFC Management to sack such an employee.She is a liability for the company.

                      The only transaction i had with HDFC was a Bike loan which i cleared two years back but i sure i would not ever deal with HDFC because of Sarika.

                      Sir,
                      I have been using my HDFC Credit Card for the last 3 years. I am the sole earning member of my family. I have my Mother, Father, Sister and Wife who are dependent on me. My Sister got married recently where a lot of expenditure had to be incurred by me including loan .Now she has got separated from her husband and is now financially dependent on me.
                      Due to such unavoidable circumstances I am not being able to pay the current monthly payment since December 2008 the outstanding for which stands at Rs.74, 000/- approx.
                      For the last 1 month I'm receiving Life Threatning Phone Calls and abuses on my Office Phone Numbers[protected]/[protected]. The calls are being made by Sukanto Das & Ms.Gupta, Collection Agents of HDFC Bank from the phone number[protected]. They have been calling my Office Colleagues and abusing them in slang languages. They have even called my Office HR (Mr.Rajat Grover) and abused him which may put an adverse effect on my job.
                      They are even threatning to visit my home at Dumdum where my Wife who is pregnant is staying alone. If any Physical/Mental Harrasment is done at my Residence, it can cause terrible danger to her life.
                      I humbly request you to kindly look into the same as I'm undergoing tremendous mental pressure and also fearing Physical Torture.
                      For the last 3 years I have been paying my bills diligently and also trying my level best to pay off the current dues at the earliest. Sincerely request you to look into the matter.

                      I am the cardholder of HDFC.My card no is [protected].

                      as per your card statement my outstanding nearly Rs 55, 000.Due to the job termination i unable to pay due on date. Your collecton people called me from[protected], [protected] her name is Jeena ( Anjana team) in Nelson manickam Road branch.Chennai
                      I informed her to my situation and asked two option (request)

                      option 1) I am paying the minimum due for nearly six months, so my principal amount was not decreased so i asked her to please convert as a 12 EMI,
                      But she was not accept my request and used some very vulger words and slang languages.

                      Option 2) I ask the full settlement amount and ask two months time for settlement and i agree to pay the intrest for two months.
                      But she was not accept my request and used some very vulger words and said to me: To go and do ### work and pay the Due
                      And she was given to my Mobile Number to other third person, they are making calls to me and using some slang languages

                      why i asked this options means my job was terminated on Nov"08

                      So please consider my request and give me a good solution because your collection people calls are making me sucide thinking.

                          I have one complaint with this bank (Bank of Punjab then Centurian Bank of Punjab now HDFC) pending since last 1 year plus, the same is address to the RBI as well but nothing is done by the bank.

                          The bank is worse in service and customer dealing,

                          1. They have not logded my EMI cheques in time accepted by the Sr Bank Employee in writing
                          2. Sudden increase in Interest rates that to without any intimation to the customer, wrong calculation of the interest Rates and the accordingly interest.
                          3. When enquired about the statement and the bank certificate for the interest provided wrong certificate and the loan statement.
                          4. Employee shout at me unnecessarily, and force me to close the loan account.

                          Please do help me !

                            Sub:- Unconnected calls being received from HDFC Ban, New Delhi/Gurgaon - Reg.
                            I wish to bring to your kind notice that my full name is Kandadai Srirama Sathagopa Ramanujacharyulu, working in The Singareni Collieries company Limited (Coal Mines) and I am a resident of Srirampur Colony for the past 30 years. I am having SB A/c No.[protected] at Mancherial HDFC Bank. I have chaned my cell phone on 4th April, 2008 with No.[protected]pre-paid) and the same also was informed to the Bank for correction. My earlier cell No.was[protected].
                            After changing the cell phone, I used to get calls from HDFC Bank, New Delhi/Gurgaon (Ph No.[protected] that I have to pay some dues for using my Credit Card. But I am not having any CREDIT CARD and I am conveying the same to them. They are telling my name as K.S.Ramanuja and the Firm and my pemanent address etc., what they are telling are not pertaining to me. In spite of giving the actual information, they used to call once or twice every month and I am giving the same reply.
                            On 7th Nov, '08, I have received a call again from HDFC Bank, New Delhi/Gurgaon (Ph No.[protected] as well as Police authorities that I have to pay dues.                             Probably, they are calling me basing on newly changed cell phone which was not with me earlier to April, 2008.

If account cannot get activated then why did your people took 500 SR? why you people bluff, betry us. If banks are not safe plce to our money, then where can we go? My form is already logged on 28th july09, some of your executive telling me that my form is not rejected. Sir just want a conformed answer form your side.i did not understand what you people doing with a customer.if the matter does not solve by you then please give any contact no of your higher authorities or CEO that can I tell him my problem. & its not take normaly becoz I do everything for this matter its customer right, & please do not send me same reply, like my representive meet you soon, please.

                            This has reference to above subject Mr. Parveen Kumar approached for a car loan. He presented himself as he is associated with HDFC bank. He said he will organize loan through HDFC. I issued a cheque no. 214006 dated 15.7.09 of Rs. 50000 drawn on IOB Nehru Mkt. Rajori Garden N.Delhi, /-. to Mr. Parveen Kumar in favour of HDFC Bank. We feel that Parveen Kumar has added his name or account number and got this money credited on 17.7.09. When he did not initiate any loan we asked for refund and he gave a third party cheque (Issued by Nibha Garg from Barclay Bank) which bounced. We asked Mr. Parveen, that we issued cheque to HDFC bank why a third party cheque is being issued, he gave different execuses. Then we approached our bank and enquired for said cheque issued in favour of HDFC Bank.

                            This cheque has been debited from my account at IOB Rajori Garden New Delhi and has been credited with code[protected] in your friends colony New Delhi Branch . Kindly let me know in which account this cheque has been credited to enable me to take suitable action. I feel that there is involvment of HDFC person also, which will give a bad name to HDFC.                             I confirmed for Balance Transfer offer and Travel Bag offer for the first purchase with the customer care executive at the time of applying the card itself.

                            Even after that, when I received SERVICES Call for my card from your executives, they confirmed me the both above mentioned offers on my card.

                            I struggled hard for enhancing my credit limit.. Now the same is happening again.

                            Im using ICICI & SBI credit card. But in both cases, I got what I was promised at the time of applying for card.

                            Im working in Tata Consultancy Services around 3 years..

                            But I have not faced this kind of problems with any other banks.

                            I dont understand why your people are making false commitments.

                            Im totally depressed with the way Miss Priya has replied now..

                            Its not my call to make false statements and mails.. Im demanding the ones promised by your customer care executives..

                            My demands are because my needs are such... That's the reason I applied for cards / loans with HDFC...

We have no complaints with BM/RM, HDFC Bank or from branch staff of Ambala Cantt. All are equally co-operative.                               I had taken a auto loan of Rs.200000/- from HDFC Bank. My auto loan account no. is 2048695. The monthly instalment was fixed for Rs.6402 and the instalment was agreed to be paid through ECS from State Bank of India Sarai Khawja Faridabad. The said instalment has been fully completed on[protected]. Today I contacted HDFC Bank Rajouri Garden Branch New Delhi for issuance of NOC but they refused to issue the same stating that there is an outstanding amount of Rs. 548 lying in my account on account of fine imposed against non payment of ECS in September 2007. However, I apprised all the facts that there was no fault of mine in not paying the instalement of September 2007 as the arrangement has been between HDFC and SBI. Instalment of September 2007 was separately paid by me vide cheque no.140518 dated[protected] which has been duly realized by the bank. During the said month there was sufficient funds outstanding in my account. No reason for non-clearance of ECS of September 2007 has been given to me either by HDFC or SBI . HDFC Bank is in the habit of imposing such type of fine in the past also. For example HDFC Bank had earlier imposed a fine of Rs. 256/-, Rs. 450/- and 81 in April-May 2006, Feb 2007 which were waived off by the HDFC on filing a complaint to the customer Service and I was assured vide their mail dated[protected] : "Quote We once again apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. Please be assured that utmost care will be taken to ensure the issue is not repeated... Eleanor Faria HDFC Bank - Unquote".
                              Please note that all the instalments have been paid by me timely and without any further delay. I have been declared by the HDFC a valuable customer. Now HDFC Bank has refused to issue me NOC till Rs.548 is cleared.They have illegally imposed the said fine without any fault of mine. I am being harassed by the bank.

                                    I am Prasanth Thomas, working in a software firm Suntec infosystems Pvt Ltd Trivandrum. Currently I am in client side BSNL Jhansi. I have salary account in HDFC bank Trivandrum. On 4th October through the net banking (TPT) 15000 rupees debited from my account to the account Manoj S Jhoshi. But I don't know him. And I didn't transfer 15000 rupees to anyone's account. I think it's a cyber crime that someone hacked my password. I complained to Bombay HDFC bank through HDFC bank Jhansi through phone. They gave me one complaint number that[protected] dated 06-Oct-2008. And they told me that they would take necessary action on it within two days. And I sent a FAX to Cochin branch about this matter. But till now I didn't get any reply from HDFC head office or from Cochin office. When I informed cyber cell they told me that to give complaint in police station or cyber cell directly or through Branch Manager. Directly I can't give complaint in police station or in cyber cell Trivandrum because presently I am in Jhansi (UP) for office work. So I went in Jhansi police station. But they were not ready to accept my complaint because my account is in Kerala. I wouldn't get leave in these days. Kindly I request you register the complaint in police station or in cyber cell. And please take necessary action to get this amount. Below I add my account details.Till now there has not action from HDFC or from police side.

                                    It's really disappointing to see that in such a so called professional bank people and system behave so unprofessionally that no one is available to listen to the customer rather bank is doing DADAGIRI and taking money out of my account WITHOUT ANY PRIOR INTIMATION. I had paid my credit card bill of Rs.1500 quite a long ago for the bill which never reached me and later because of misbehaviour of bank and Executives I had stopped using HDFC CREDIT CARD bt the bank was not happy after this and so to humiliate me bank kept multiplying the interest which i was never suppossed to pay and bank executive kept calling and irritating me but now It's height o[censored]nprofessionalism because the bank has deducted Rs. 7356.41 from my HDFC account without prior intimation and my approval. Hence, I am writing this mail expecting that there are still some people who understand the consumer complaints and look into thematter. If this matter is not sorted out I'll be compelled to annul all my relationship which includes My Fixed deposit of Rs.132000/-, my 4years old HDFC account with the regular balance of Rs. 111000/- and my referral of atleast 2 customer per month.Hoping to see your response in this favour soon.

                                    Dear sir,

                                    I apply for opening of new saving bank account at your branch vishwas Nagar Shahdara Delhi on 13.10.09 as I was represented by your authorized person that it was a zero balance account and hidden any type of charges in that account is applicable by sh arun verma . with representation I sing on the blank new saving account opening foam and hand over him a cheque of rupees 10200/- drawn at axix bank delhi. Later on I came to know that it was not a zero balance account, I immediately went to your branch office at vishwas nagar Shahdara delhi at about 1.30 p.m and meet sh. Arun verma who represent me it was zero balance account and ask him wheather it was zero balance or not, he told me it was zero balance but you have to maintain 10000/- quaterly in this account than immediately I requested him please don’t open my account and return my cheque. On this he told me that it is not possible now. Than I made him a written request latter on 10.10.09 at about 2.00 p.m for cancellation of new account and return of my said cheque and instruct him not to present that cheque as I do not want to open my account in your branch as it was not a zero balance account. On this mr. arun verma became angry and misbehaved with me and told me I will not cancelled that account in any case jo tumnay karna hai kar lo. Sir the behavior of that person is against the bank policy and customer .

                                    It is therefore request you cancelled my new account opening foam and return my cheque and not to present that cheque in any case and further take an appropriate action against the said person as he by misleading the customers opened account and thereafter misbehaved them.

                                    A fraud was committed at HDFC bank mathura where in a NRI'S account was fraudulently opened by a person called vikas arora and money with drawan from the account fraudulently. The fraudster vikas arora has been arrested and in jail and his case is under trial. The trial court has been repeatedly asking the bank manager to furnish the original documents used for opening the fraud account but bank has for past 4 months failed to honour the summons from the court.

                                    On being threatened with arrest warrants the bank manager finally sent a bank employee to court with the plea that the original documents have to be got from mumbai.

                                    It seems that the bank is not interested in furthering the cause of justice .

                                    can some one look into this matter and pull up mathura branch manager to cooperate with the court and produce the required documents asap.

                                      My name is being printed wrongly in all the statements with my surname at first and first name at last. I went to the Koramangala Branch, Bangalore and requested for change of name. The lady asked me to fill a form and submit it with supporting proof, employers letter, a personal request letter.
                                      I did submit all the forms and I was told the change will reflect in 5 working days. It's been more than a month and still my name remains the same. I called the customer service and raised a complaint, but still no change.
                                      I can't believe the bank is so irreponsible!
