[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — CREDIT CARD

I am getting lot o[censored]nwanted calls from HDFC bank customer care executive. They are always telling about credit card product. I have told that I am not interested with this product. But they peoples are again and again calling me. They peoples are making harassment and disturbing. Kindly take on necessary action on it. Phone Number is [protected].

I have a credit crd with HDFC. There was some online transactions in my statement which I disputed. I was told to make the payment as useing the available credit was very important to me at that point of time. But I did send in written documentation for disputing the charges. Till date the charges have not been disputed and infact my card have gone to charge off since I had no other option but to stop paying on the card. I received "N" number of pathetic and harrasing collection calls from the bank which was not atall welcomed and every time I had to and did explain the situation but nothing happened.I did go to the bank to get it resolved but all they did was take a minimum payment to met there target and then mentioned that the max that they can do is go for a settlemet. This is not acceptable. They also threten me with legal action.I am at lost and really do not knw what to do. Please help.

HDFC agents (Collecting forms for Credit Card) are calling to my office, and asking for "Do you want Credit Card?” they are providing all the information saying this is a special offer to TCS employees. When applied for the same along with my friends, we got conformation call to. But later we came to know that saying that your card is rejected.

Reason's given by them: You do not meet the criteria for the card, OR, You are not at present at your given address during working hours. Tell me how a person can be present at his home during working address, if told deliver the card at office address.

I don’t understand from where does this guys get our extension no’s.

Once they called my friend asking, would you like to have HDFC Credit Card, he replied no. But then they call him daily.

One thing I have noticed that, these guys must be fake persons, as once it happened that the person named Gokul called telling himself that he works for HDFC, after few he calls again saying he is Karma from SBI. The same person calling again and again and asking for credit card. That means these all organization is same working for different banks or might be using our documents for any other purpose.

So I’m afraid that if they use these documents for any wrong purpose we may be in trouble.

My thinking:
- These are fraud and might cause problem.
- Attitude is very worst like gunds.
- Same person calling from different no’s with different name, but person’s like me are smart enough to understand the voice. He caught more than thrice.
- Very bad experience about such persons, coming to office, collecting documents, rejecting cards, and again disturbing by calling again again.

This kind of calls are made at any time of work which is disturbing and time consuming and deviate me from my work. This is definitely affecting my working. The mental torture caused by that call is severe and disturbing me constantly.

Kindly help me out of this.

I have lot of grieviences about HDFC bank Credit card department. This bank has kept an hold on my SB account. How can they do this? Ia m paying my payments since last 2 yrs and this people are harrassing me by charging services and many other charges by fraud. since last 6 months i am speaking to there excutive in Rajouri garden Office and i want full and final settlement of my card. But nobody is ready for this settlement. Now they have kept a hold on my account. All my EMI cheques are bounced. who will pay the penalty. Either somebody has to call and settle or i have to seek law of court.My Number is[protected].
I have applied for Credit card a month back.Before three weeks i got the Pin Number & greetings from HDFC Bank.Still now i didnt Receive the Card.I have called the CC & Quried regarding it but no one can find the details with my Mobile Number & the Card Number(which i had received from bank).Kindly let me know the status of the Credit Card.

This is to bring your kind attention towards my problem. HDFC Bank has issued a Credit Card in my name long time back and was using the CC.

But last few months I was out of town and could not pay the due amount of Rs 700/-, later when I can back I was shocked to see that my card has been blocked and the due amount is Rs 2400/- for which I droped a cheque of Rs2500/-

Now my compatint is if HDFC has any promotion they call and inform, but when they have to reject any card they dont evwen bother to call the loyal customer.

My name is Rudra Pratap using Credit cards no: [protected] for past 3.5 years and I was happy with the existing card. I have been started getting calls for past 6 months regarding up gradation for gold cards. And I keep on saying not interested but finally they have sent and I have returned it back and said not interested. Even they have not left me out and blocked my online transaction. When I called up customer care they said please, accept gold cards or if you want your old cards back kindly, fill the form with the sign and submit to HDFC BANK. I said, why should I sign and fill the form as I have not applied for new card and how have you given gold card without any signature and form. Its blunders. Its mean tomorrow you will use my identity and deliver card to someone. Next day I got the call from recovery illegal department, if you will not pay 3000 amount then your name will be black listed in civil. I said
My card is block how can I pay then they said let me check and never get back to me same way as with customer care till date. I have recorded every verbal communication in my cell. I am really get boiled. Let me tell you frankly I am not going to pay any single rupees as I am regular payable of HDFC, on time. If you will force me then I will send this recording to media.
Note: important thing is how you can issue gold cards without my authentication

Hello Sir,
i was using hdfc bank credit card which n. is [protected] . In nov2008 I have loss my credit card then i block it in nov 2008 and give application to reissue another card then bank have not issue any other card and also they added interset and also late payment on that card in still may 2009.After that they hold my Rs.18000 from my hdfc bank saving Account which n. is[protected] and also executive is saying that your account will still block for 15 days either you give a application that bank can detect 18000 from account and then It will activated so Sir please do something regarding credit card. I can give payment but till nov 2008 because after that i never use this card. so please sir do something as soon as possible.

I am bringing to your attention a situation that recently occurred in my Credit Card wrong billing Dispute.
1- My Credit card had been blocked in 2007. Due to some reason but
no payment was pending.
2- In July2008 wrong bill generated Amount debited =-8422.49 dated -31.08.2008, by Internet purchasing. How can it possible whenever card was blocked form 2007 to till date .
3- I am very surprise from such a type of mistake By HDFC ----
4- Many time I have discussed Customer care & other concern person. But resulting in no Satisfactory response.
I request that you check this matter and resolve it as quickly possible.

I have taken HDFC bank credit card. They have tie up with Bajaj allianz and through it they have processed a fake policy with my name, where all of my personal details are wrong except my name. Without my notification they have paid Rs 4422 from my credit card. I have told them to cancel this entry, they have done it and again included it in next months statement. I kept on telling them but they are not able to help me out. I am attaching snapshot of March and April statement. The entry in blue background refers to Bajaj Allianz money. I am dropping this mail to consumer forum with great expectation. Please help me out. If you want I can show the documents which I have received from Bajaj allianz with fake entries.
I have salary account in HDFC bank opened in Aug'08. Against that I had applied for credit card, of which I never got the card nor any kind of communication.When i contacted them they were unable to give any clear status. On my repeated follow up i was informed that my application was declined without any clearcut reasons for the same.Any how I was told that I will again be able to reapply after six months which ends in the month of March'09. After the time period my repeated follow up is not yeilding any result. Branch personels are clueless and confussed with out any satisfactory answer and handed over a customer care no. I have called in that no. 5-6 times and tell them the whole story, on this every time they console me with assurance that within 24-48 hrs some body will contact me.But, till today no body has come forward from their side to address my issues.
Please see if your department can look into the matter and atleast take up the issue with the concerned HDFC personel who atleast feel some shame if fails to stand by their comments.

That is the Highly dissatisfaction from I got HDFC Bank, I get very appreciation from my Friends for HDFC customer Service, so I will decided I am also being a Part of HDFC Bank, I do the apply online for HDFC credit card on 14/05/2009 & I fill all the information which write into the form after that I get the two verification code one of my mobile & Email that’s such, again i surprise & happy to see this security walls, after that I get the Sms with my application no on my mobile ( [protected] ) & in there write down one of Customer care person will call you next three days. I will wait next three days but no body call me then I am do the call from your customer care no[protected]. Now there the Start dissatisfactory Section I was warm welcome from Automatic caller then my Call was connected to Customer care representative, I was tell my all the thinks which I was do, after that she told me “ SIR WE HAVE NO STATUS FOR THE SAME BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT RECEIVED ANY VERIFICATION CALL FROM OUR SIDE KINDLY CONTACT ON APPLICATION DEPARTMET” & she Provide me the no also that is [protected], I will try the no but that no not exist, again I call the support no & again one gay give another no that is [protected] after long busy network some lady Pick up the call & she gives me answers “ SIR THAT NO BELONG TO PAYMENT DEPARTMENT KINDLY CALL ON CUSTOMER CARE NO “.

Again I call there & tell all the thinks which I was faced, the representative ask me about my mobile no I provided him now see what she we give me answer “ SIR YOUR MOBILE NO NOT EXIST IN SYSTEM & WE HAVE NO RECORD FOR THE SAME KINDLY RE-APPLY THE CARD”.

I ask you one question only in this time who Person have lot of time to again & again fill form or Call the Customer Support if I gives you the business you should take care for your customer or now HDFC Bank no need for Business, I hope right now also I am not wasting my time to write this mail.

One more think I am not re-apply for the same I just watch what HDFC Bank do for his customer.

I had a credit card numbered [protected] for which a total outstanding was Rs 35000 approx, I had asked for settlement of this card and HDFC had offerred me Rs 12000 and Rs 19100 for a loan on this card.
Now the gentleman who had come over with this letter gave me a letter with a separate credit card number and I refused to sign it but however I signed the loan settlement letter and paid off the initial amount of Rs 1600. I had also given a cheque retrieval form which meant that every month the bank will return my cheque and collect cash instead.
However no one came to collect the cash since the last 3 months and no one came with a fresh settlement letter on the card.
Now yesterday, an ount of Rs 48000 has been debited from my savings account and I am being said that I need to pay Rs 26000 next month as Chennai office has decided this and nothing can be done.
I have spoken on customer care and I was supposed to get a call by 12noon and I did not receive any call as usual, I callled up the collections teram but to no use.
This is the worst harassment a customer can have when he is willing to pay but the bank does not collect and then debits whatever amount is there in the account leading to tremendous financial and mental pressure.
Apart from this I have atleast 2-3 receipts against payments on my credit card, numbers which do not match my card, this shows what fake the bank is doing.
Please look into this and would request you to sort this

Myself & my husband having a joint account in you bank.Two month before my Debit card expired. I applied for New Debit Card in Nanganallur Branch more then month before.

So far I did not receive the Debit card. I contact customer care but no proper response.
