But, the billed amount is Rs.145.

    I ordered 3/4 products on November 11, 2012 with future Bazaar Order No- [protected] dt 11 Nov.2012. They collected the payment, and did not do anything about it. I called after 5 days, and was informed that they had some technical issues (which they could not explain why), and they even did not take a complaint, stating they do not have a fcility to log a complaint and give me a complaint number. Its been 6 days, and I have still not heard from them nor received products. I suggest no one should trust FUTURE BAZAR

      Hi,

      I have ordered one sofa in Hometown, Marathahalli on 24.Oct.2012 along with two tables. They promised me to deliver it by 04.Nov.2012 and I have been following it with the respective sales person closely from 03.Nov.2012 but nothing is working out till now. Its 15.Nov.2012 and I have been to the showroom twice regarding the same and shouted at so many people for n no. of times both in calls as well in person even to their supervisors as well.
      But fate is nothing is going to change their worst delivery and still they are delivering the product. I am not sure how many times I need to follow it up to get the delivery. This is the worst kind of delivery and response on can give to the customers and those who are working are least bothered to help any of their customers.
      Please dont ever book or order any items any thing from HOmetown, Bangalore. They will promise you that they will provide the worst and worst kind of delivery as much as they can to your product and delivery.
      I can guarantee you that they wont deliver the product at some point of time and you need to fight for your money to return back and it will take again some ages to receive and tat too not so sure that you will receive. Such a shameless and horrible service they can provide with out any fail. I dont have any words to say abt those freaks !! I am so sad that my sofa is still on the way to my home !! God should help on this !!

        Dear sir,
        i am manish from gurgaon. we have purchased 1 double bed, 1 study table and a chair. the total amount was more than 17000. we purchased it from big bazaar, Sahara mall. our challan no. is 0592 dated 07.11.12. the product was to be delivered on 12.11.12 as they promised us. we bought it for Diwali festival only. they didn't delivered the items. even they are not responding well. they are not receiving my calls also. We haven't got the items yet. we are wasting our time and money also. We are being harassed by them. The challan is being attached also.
        please tell me what to do.

        Big Bazar Gurgaon — Free Gift not given

        As stated in the promotion of big bazar,i purchased Rs8500,out which if we purchase 7999 or more then entitled for free jucier mixer grinder till diwali.but its been three days and they falsely promising to deliver at home everyday.this is very sad and harasing.if they dont have or dont want to fullfill then why are they clameing this in big advertisemnets.

        BIG BAZAAR — Furniture not delivered

        I have ordered a Sofa set and bed from Furniture Bazaar at Big Bazaar, Coimbvatore Tamil Nadu. The item is supposed to be delivered in 15 days but it is three weeks now and it is still not delivered. I have made several calls to the customer service but they make blind promises to deliver "by tomorrow!"....

        Big Bazaar, Sahara Mall, Gurgaon — Furniture not delivered

        I have booked furniture in Big Bazaar on 1-1-2011. The delivery was supposed to be within 7 to 10 days. They supplied the items after 15 days except one study table. They said the cherry colour which I ordered is not available, it is supposed come from Malaysia, which is expected around Jan 26. I went to the shop on 26 th Jan 2011, the table was not wavailable, I was asked to wait for another week till Feb 4th. After that, I told them to deliver whatever colour available with them. Now I am told they lost the bill and could not trace it. I had booked the table for my daughter and wanted it before her exams. I am really fed up. Kindly help me.

        Bill No. 1485 & 1487 dated[protected] bought at Sahara Mall, Gurgaon, Haryana. The total bill amount 21294/- had already been paid. The bill is in my husband's name ARVIND KUMAR.

        BIG BAZAAR — furniture not received

        Paid money to Biz Bazaar , NOIDA on 12th December . Till 27th , They have not delivered furniture. Their call center has no answer. They dont respond on mail. The are cheaters and do not buy anything unless given to you against cash. Future delivery will never be made. Kishor Biyani is loosing money in his business and if it goes like this soon will be out our business and will ask Government to bail him out

          I purchased a wrought iron bed and a Sleepwell mattress from the Big Bazaar in Ambience, Vasant Kunj on 28th October. I made this purchase only because I was assured that the delivery would be made on November 7th (this was the delivery date on the bill as well). When on November 8th I did not receive the delivery, I called Big Bazaar and I was told that there is a problem with the matress and that both matress and the bed would be delivered on Sunday, November 11th. When I called Big Bazaar November 11th to confirm the delivery, I was told that the mattress be delivered only by November 17th (the bed was delivered on this 11th). This was unacceptable as I wanted the deliveries to be made prior to Diwali, as this is the traditional auspicious period for our family to make such purchases. I visited the Big Bazaar in Vasant Kunj in person and asked that my request be complied with. I was told by one of your representatives that the mattress will be delivered by November 12th. I repeatedly confirmed with the reps that the mattress would be delivered as promised. The mattress was not delivered on 12th and I was not even informed that the delivery will not be made.

          This experience has left me extremely frustrated with Big Bazaar's quality of service. Because of the misrepresentation/ false information provided by the store reps, my family had to put up with the ignominy of having guests sleep on the floor.

            Hi Team,

            I had purchased the following products from Hometown in Maxus Mall, Bhayander:
            Sofa cum bed
            Bean Bag
            Nilkamal Wardrobe
            Recliner Chair
            Three-legged stool.

            I made the down payment on Saturday, 28 October 2012 and prior to making the payment was told that the delivery will be made within three days. In spite of a confirmation from Bajaj finance via SMS and Phone call, that my file is completed and approved, the products were not delivered.

            Upon enquiry, I was told that my loan file hasn't been returned to hometown and therefore they cant process further, on the same evening (Wednesday 7 Nov'12) I got a call from them stating that the file has been received and products will be delivered the following day.

            On Thursday I didn’t receive any communication, on calling them I was told that the store has opened a few minutes back and no one is available to provide details of my order and a call back will arranged within 30 minutes. No one called back. When I called in evening again, I was told that my order isn't stocked in Mumbai warehouse and has been order from Nagpur and will be delivered tomorrow (Friday, 9 Nov'12).

            My order wasn’t delivered on Friday and I rang them again only to be told that it will be delivered on Sunday. I was called on Sunday to inform that, the truck is loaded and ready however the delivery cannot be made, no reasons given, no apologies made. I wanted to cancel my order but they promised a delivery on Monday by 2 PM.

            On Monday I got a call at about 10 AM in morning from the warehouse manager stating that, the good will arrives from Nagpur only in evening on Monday. Also, said that he may not be held responsible for the delivery commitments made by Bhayander Branch. He was not apologetic at all, advised to deal with Bhayander team directly for earlier statements and relevant clarifications. However, promised a delivery on Wednesday 14 Nov’12.

            After all this I have not had an opportunity to talk to any responsible staff at Hometown, they continue to play the blame game and I’m being told that the goods are being delayed due to festive season. They don’t understand that I had ordered the products for festive season. They seemed least bothered when I wanted to cancel my order and no apologies at all. Goods not yet delivered and no written proof that they will be delivered by Wednesday.

            On the day of purchase, I was told that my order, except for the Sofa cum bed, are available for same day delivery. Why have they not been delivered yet?

            HomeTown — Not delivaring purched items

            I have purchased furnitute from HomeTown on mar22, 09. They were supposed to be delivered on Mar26, 09. I have been following everyday with their call center and Delevari Manager. Till today ( today is Apr02, 09) they could not answer what happend to that delivary.

            Home Town — non delivery of product on due date

            I had ordered a bed on 19/09/2010 at Home Town, Lucknow. I was asked to deposit 50% of the cost of the bed as advance which I duly did. The delivery date advised was 09/10/2010 however the store failed to do so and also my request for cancellation of my order and refund of advance money is being denied to me.

            That is true. I am having a similar experience. I bought a refrigerator during Diwali and was promised that it will be delivered within 2 weeks. Now after a month when I called them to know about the status they say that they do not have stock and that we will have to change our model and if price is higher we will have to pay extra. Even after threatening them to complaint to the higher levels, they did not took any actions to supply me the product that I had paid for. Home Town was a reputed brand in my mind but after this experience I would like everyone to know the truth. Better purchase things from small dealers. At least they give you the assurance of faster deliver without any hassles.

              Promised delivery date: 12th Nov

              Hussain Shaikh and Brijesh were point of contact and they orally promised that the furniture will be delivered before 7th Nov, however the delivery date on document is 12th Nov.
              I am in touch with both of them and I got to know that the furniture will get delayed and it looks difficult to get deliver before promised date. While booking I informed that I will be out of town post 12th Nov for couple of months.

              I have booked it well in advance and the plan was to get delivery before Diwali festival.

              Please let me know confirmed delivery date. I am still expecting this before 12th Nov.

                I bought the dining table (Maya) in Dec 2011 from Home Town located in Ishyana Mall, Pune.
                1) First of all the Dining table was never delivered in time. The reason given was that the transport is not available.
                2) After 3-4 months, when there were some gusts at my home (for dinner) one of the seat broke from the middle and it was a very humiliating and embarrassing situation for me. As the guest could have been injured, but luckily the didn’t happened. When contacted the store the reply was that we will replace, after 15 days follow up the seat was replaced. From that day we have stopped using the dining table because everyone at home is sacred. Man what kind of product is this?
                3) All the seats were loosened up and again I logged a complaint and with the follow-ups the fitter came and tightened the screws. But that never remained like that they get loose in two days.
                4) Again in the month of Sep I had raised a complaint that all chairs are loose again and this time the screws are falling down. But no one turned up , when we asked for the complaint number the Lady from the store replied over phone, “ Sir, don’t take tension ho jayee ga” , we waited for 15 days but no one turned up. And after this we again called up the store and this time we insisted to the lady that we need a complaint number. Again no one turned up .Even as of today also 3-4 chairs have the loosen screws.
                5) Two weeks back as there was no space, I was having dinner on the dining table. To my surprise suddenly on e of the leg broke and I was on the floors on my knees. Both my knee caps were injured and there were scratches around that. For whole night I was in Pain.

                This incident happened on Sunday night (21 Oct 2012) and on Monday I went to the store and I wanted to talk with their manager. After lots of here and there finally I was able to meet Mr Amit Tiwari, I narrated him the whole incident, he listened to me patiently and said that he needs one day to understand the whole matter.he directed some people to visit that home and find out what the issue was. I clearly told him that this dining table is dangerous and there is some issue with it. I need a replacement for this piece. I need a steel one and am ready to pay the extra amount , if there is any. He assured me that he will look into this once he has a report from his team. And getting the assurance I left the store.
                When the person came for the inspection he found that there one chair is broken and two chairs have a crack and can break at any moment.
                Again I called Mr Tiwari and he said that he has forwarded my case to “HO” and is waiting for there reply after the follow-ups with him.
                Early this week I received a call from one of the managers from the Hometown Store Ishyana mall Pune stating that they have received the approval for replacement of broken chairs. I strongly rejected it as I was promised that I will be given the replacement (Steel one).
                I called up the store Manager, Mr Amit Tiwari and reminded him what he had assured me and what I was expecting. He cleanly did a U Turn stating that he cannot do that as he has not been given permission from the management.

                Today some persons came to replace 3 chairs but they were not stable, rejecting these person from hometown said sir your flooring is damaged or we will fix the corks on the chair to make them stable.

                Am really frustrated as a Home Town customer.

                I want to know and understand that what kind of management is this. They are playing with the lives of people by selling the dangerous product. I was in utmost pain when I was in Hometown store, this everybody saw there the manager and store people.
                I am very depressed and will make it a point that neither my family not my friends/relatives purchase anything from the HOME TOWN stores.
                You guys are simply cheating consumers. This is ridiculous and frustrating.

                I want to talk to the higher management and particularly to the person who has rejected this. I want to ask him what he would have done if this happens with his family.
                Very disappointed as a customer.......

                This is the second complaint i am raising without any reply ...

                Has somebody faced the same situation.. I see a lot of complaints about these people.

                  HOMETOWN KOLKATA IS HORRIBLE IN SERVICE. YOU ARE A PREY OF THESE PEOPLE ONCE YOU HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT.
                  THESE PEOPLE DONT DELIVER ON TIME. YOU CALL THEM TO HEAR STORIES FOR THE DELAY.THEY SUPPLY DAMAGED STUFF AND CANNOT FIX THE FURNITURE.

                  WORST THING THERE IS NO COMPLAINT ESCALATION CHART... THEN HOW CAN U EXPECT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

                  WELL I HAVE APPROACHED THE CONSUMER FORUM, NOW LETS SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO..

                    Issue: Charged Rs 479/- for an item having MRP Rs 279/- and harassed next day when refund was requested

                    Description: I was charged Rs 200 extra for a product. I noticed the same when I reached home. Very next day[protected], Sunday), I visited the shop to get my money back by wasting fuel and time. Instead of apologizing and returning my
                    money, they blamed me of theft. They said that I got some other item worth Rs 479/- and stole this Rs 279/- item and took it home unbilled. One staff along with two others, shouted at me and asked me to pay additional Rs 279/- for the item.

                    They said that they didn't believe me and told me story of a doctor who stole items worth Rs 30 thousand. They tried to prove that I too was of the same kind. I was humiliated in front of my wife, daughter and 100s of customers.

                    I told them not to blame me and check the cctv recordings of last evening. They didn't listen.

                    After long hot discussions, two more staffs came who said that my money will be refunded. After they verified the product in some of the scanning machines, they refunded me Rs 479/-. One of them said sorry while the ones who had blamed and shouted, kept smiling while passing comments.
                    My Losses: 1) Lost my Sunday evening along with that of my wife and baby
                    2) We came home humiliated with lot of pain and sufferings (awake till now writing this in pain)
                    3) Kid was scared because of all the noise
                    Who will repay for the above losses?

                    i had purchased goods worth inr 1609/- from big bazaar , at milan mall ,santacruz on jan 26,'11 at 22.32hrs.
                    i am billed for real juce , but the juce boottle was not packed.
                    all nbrs on d bill are not in existence ,there fore i could not inform then at nite .

                    Thanks Priya for your response! Operations manager from old Madras Road, Big Bazar called me and apologized. He informed that the corrective HR actions are being taken against the concerned staff. I forgive big bazar (future value retail) though I won't forget the incident. I won't suggest anyone to refrain from big bazar just because of this incident but would definitely suggest to cross verify your bill at the cash counter itself. (Better to take decisions based on your own experience!)

                      Big Bazar People are Cheating Aam Admi in Bathinda

                      I am very much disappointed and feel cheated when went to purchase some house hold items on[protected] at big bazar bathinda. I purchased one dinner set of LA OPALA (35 PCS) after 1:30 hr. search. It was not only conveyed to me that it will cost for Rs 1599/- instead of 2035/- but also displayed at the counter in printed hoardings at two places.(Snap attached)
                      They charged me for the same one dinner set of LA OPALA (35 PCS) @ Rs 1760 (bill snap attached).They were asked many times and even accounts manager was called and even after showing him the snap/photo of the display chit and physical verification of the counter but they were adamant and charged full amount i. e. Rs 1760/-. I was in hurry and have go to some marriage for gifting the same to the newly wed couple so have no other option but to purchase the same as per their terms.
                      they claim that this is the lapse on the part of concern sale boy but i think he has not ordered the printing of hoardings and vouchers for displaying the rates.
                      its up to the owner or in charge who is manipulating the things as per his satisfaction and market trends.
                      This is a matter of great cheating and to be dealt with strong actions but amm admi can write it to you because he has no time to waste as these practices are every where.
                      But this is a shame for such a big name in the market.
                      Small cheating are many like in one more item no.[protected] they claim 1 free with the purchase of one but they neither have given the extra nor deduct any amount.
                      All snaps and proofs are attached.

                        I was going to big bazar on 20 oct. 2012 for purchasing soya bath soap nd sum neccessory things for home uses but i was shocked that they taking wrong money from me they shows that 1ltr soya oil price was 77 rs but at the time of bill they added 81 rs nd same thing done on soap price 3 pair of lux soap price was 80 rs but they gng to take 105 rs from me when i told them that this is not right they said we dnt know anything i[censored] want than buy it other wise leave it same time i said that i want to complained for it so where i go no body response me properly i feel so helpless nd this nt first time heppend last time also wrong charges taking from me but that time i relised it after reached at home nd bcz of busy shedule i was unable to go but i still have copy of the bill yet hope this complain will be give me proper response

                        Lux Soap — price

                        i purchased 4 pack of lux 125 gms from d mart rajkot.they charged me 75 rs but on wrapper price was written rs 80 and save rs 8 was written on stickers so actually they must charge me 72 but they charged rs 75.can you explain why it is written on wrapper confusing mattet?

                                Order ID: [protected] - HandloomWala RPC 4 Red Roses Buds Print Double Bed Sheet - This bedsheet had bled after the first washing and faded. When I reported this matter to them, this is what they responded:

                                FutureBazaar - "In regards to your order number [protected], I understand that the bed sheet which is delivered to you is faded after first wash. I apologize for the same and confirm that at per the return policy we only accept returns within 15 days of the product being delivered to you. Also the product which is in used condition cannot be returned.Your kind understanding in this matter is highly appreciated. Meanwhile, if we can be of further service, please do not hesitate to contact."

                                I would rate this response as 'quite rude'. They initially never apologized or felt sorry for the bad quality but only talked about the return policy. So they said that even after the bad quality the bed sheet cannot be returned as it has been over 15 days. Look at the quality stuff that they are selling over the website. So ideally whenever somebody buys such thing from them, he/she needs to first wash that within 2-3 days to check whether it bleeds or not.

                                Secondly, This is absolutely illogical to say that It is used and cannot be changed now. How would somebody come know about the quality (after the wash) unless it is used? Without using/washing nobody can predict whether it will bleed. Am not talking about the liking of the bed sheet that I have not liked it. If I say so then they should say that it's been over 15 days and cannot be changed. Rather, Am talking bout the quality of the stuff which cannot be known until used.

                                I asked them one simple question: how would someone know that the bed sheet will bleed/ fade without usage and washing? They skipped this question again and tried to wash their hands off this way:

                                Futurebazaar - "I totally appreciate your efforts in sharing your concerns regarding the unpleasant experience you had. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. However as per 15 days return policy it would really not be possible to return the product. The experience you had is really unfortunate and I assure you that the same will not be repeated. I appreciate your kind patience, cooperation and understanding in this matter."

                                FutureBazaar - "I must clarify that any used product not eligible for return, however the experience you had is unfortunate and necessary action will be done from our end to avoid such instance in future. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. We regret the inconvenience caused to you."

                                They are shamelessly talking about customer satisfaction where in reality it was never thought about. My money went down the drain but at least others should learn from this experience and that is the whole idea behind this complaint. This is certainly not creating good word of mouth about future bazaar online shopping. At least I would not recommend anyone to buy bedsheets from future bazaar going forward.

                                  Myself Shatrughan Yadav,26 residential of ahmedabad, Gujarat want to register a complain aginst additional charge on purchase of items.
                                  I have purchased some Items (Rasna juice packets, cream) from your BIG BAZZAR MALL, 10 ACRE, Kankaria, Ahmedabad, the purchase cost was
                                  Rs 355.25/- only, I made the payment from my HDFC bank debit card.
                                  After some days when I checked my account statement, I came to know that they have drawn additional Rs 449/- from my account (Wich I have never purchased).
                                  I resistered a complain against this but they have not taken any action.

                                  I have purchase a delmonte tomato ketchup from BIG BAZZAR- RAJOURI GARDERN on 02/06/2012 18:27. its offer price Rs.76/- (MRP 86/-). And it billed for Rs.86/-. When i checked at home every items so i found rate diff. in aforesaid item. than i calledup on No.[protected] which mentioned on the bill, "i told to customer care executive for this, he said its not a bigger issue this is happened on regular basis. You can get your 10 rupees any time." Executive not understand that there is no question of 10 rupees there is Q. of WRONG BILLING. So many people get the same issue.

                                    I visited the Big Bazzar stores located @ T.Nagar Chennai and purchased groceries,foos items,blankets etc., and in 3 of the cases the amount charged was in excess of the MRP mentioned in the tag;

                                    1) FBR RAJMA CHITRA 200g - MRP IS Rs.19 ( Price charged is Rs.25) Till no.24 . Receipt No : 0009763 Cashier name : Aiesha Banu

                                    2) WHISPER ULT WNG for 1 packet charged Rs.125 and for another 2 packets purchased, they have charged Rs.270.00
                                    3) AMSON HOME PLASTIC - MRP is Rs.60- Selling price as per the tag is Rs.49.00, however they have charged Rs.65.00

                                    for the above ( 2 & 3) the details are Till no.15 . Receipt No : 0014130 Cashier name : Kamali

                                    This actually amounts to cheating as you don't have time to look in to the bill after you purchase since the counters are heavily crowded all the time.

                                    I tried calling the customer care toll free no and they cut the phone the first time abrubtly and i tried contacting them but there was no response form them.I kept on trying and they disconnected the phone twice after that,Need some very strict action to be taken as this amounts to cheating the customers.

                                      Brand: “Priviledge Club” Purchased from : Bigbazar Future Value Retail Ltd., Esplanade Metropolitan Building, 7 J L Nehru Road, Kolkata – 700 013 Receipt No. : 0007385 Date & time of purchase : 28.07.2012 at 21:19 Goods were sold with label inscribed with “super fine cotton & new age blend”. No cotton was in the sold goods but those were very warm. Complaint made to [protected]@fvrl.in. Reply mail received giving reference Case No.: 122988 against my complaint with option given over phone to exchange. Goods were purchsed on discounted price during sale but I had to exchange on M.R.P. During purchase other companies were also giving sale but i went to Bigbazar as I accustomed with purchasing goods from them for last 7/8 years. I made further mail lodging my complaint again. They contacted over phone from no [protected] on 17th at 12.32 Hrs but did not show any urge to solve my complaint though I had given ample time with the notice to brought the matter to the consumer forum. Staff of their store are not well taught about the rights of the consumer. I felt I got cheated. I asked them whether all the products having labels of mis- declaration from their stores or not but no reply is received so far.

                                      I at this stage seek your help how these big companies are cheating the consumer without being bothered to solve the genuine problem of the consumer. I like to know wheter would I get suitable remedy towards the loss borne by me and tell me what to do.

                                        Last week I had gone to the Big Bazar (Esplanade) outlet in Kolkata to buy a shirt. While paying the money, the person in the cash counter asked me whether i need a plastic bag ( as per the new govt directives, plastic bags will be charged and have to be bought by customers, or else one can bring their own bags). I told the person that i do not need a plastic bag as i already have my own bag. To my surpise, I was told to vacate the line and go to some other counter. When i asked, the reason that was provided was that the particular line was only meant for those who will buy plastic bags, and it was masdatory to buy plastic bags. When I asked where such thing is specified, the person in the cash counter started arguing rudely and gave a very illogical reason that one cannot take out any clothes outside the store without a packet.

                                        In other departmental stores, a customer is given absolute freedom about opting for a plastic bag. I think the main motive of the Indian govt here is to reduce the usage of plastic through such measures. When i categorically mentioned that no plastic bag is needed, the store does not have any right to force me. This proves thet Big Bazar is taking advantage of this effort by the govt to cash in more money. If they are so consious, why cant they give cloth bags to customers? There are lots of stores that have changed to cloth bags. Previously plastic bags were given for free, but now with such directives in place, Big Bazar is taking undue advantage. Request you to look into the matter and prevent harrasement of customers.
